Me personally I wouldnt give this REJECT RICKS MOTOR SPORT any stars but just because you have to but to me its a negative 1 star but here is my bloody experience I ordered a cdi box they sent me the wrong bloody box on two separate occasions and then this old manly talking senior citizen I think IT was named Tabatha or Tabasco something to that extent called me with this deeply baritone Freddy Crugger and Jeeper Creeper voice ugh saying that he she or it wasnt going to refund my money but me on the other hand I was very professional about the situation I didnt disrespect it because this OFF BRAND RICKS MOTOR SPORT REJECT company will lose more business than I will and the reason I keep mentioning RICKS MOTOR SPORT they will treat you fairly with quick shipping and they WILL NOT OVER CHARGE YOU AND BESIDES this REJECT place orders from RICKS MOTOR SPORT and over charge you JUST TO CLEAR THE AIR
Mike at Byron Powersports was absolutely amazing, informative and extremely helpful. Mike had me sold over the phone to be honest, when I walked in the store and told them my name I was told he was expecting me…now that GREAT customer service! Oh and did I mention he came to our home to show me how to operate my new grown up toy, yep he sure did. Mike is the man, you should definitely check him out at Byron Powersport.
This place is terrible. I took my bike up there to get tires serviced and a few other things fixed. Was told it would be ready Saturday told the guy I might be out of town on Saturday but ended up coming back on Saturday and tired to pick up my bike wasn’t done. Had to wait until Tuesday. Ok no buggy there really but when I picked it up on Tuesday after being told it was ready get there to find out that half of what I wanted addressed wasn’t completed. Then on top of that they bring to my attention when I’m there to pick it up that my front forks are leaking and my coolant was low. No call about fixing either of them. No adjustment on bill for incompleteness of work. So now I decided to work on my own bike as I spent over 2 grand there I find out my air filter is dirty, oil looks as if it never got changed, front fork screws that tighten the clamps around the axel bolt was so loose I could turn them with my fingers and they never even added coolant. One thing is for sure and that is my bike will never go back to the dealer.
I purchased my bike from Byron Powersports in December 2018, before choosing them I called 15 other dealerships and they were the cheapest I found by $1,100!!! I drove 5 hrs but it was well worth it! After I had my bike for a month the battery went bad and Yamaha wouldnt warranty it because it was 3 days after their 30 day warranty. I called Byrons and Aaron felt that wasnt right so he personally sent me a new one, when he easily could have told me there was nothing he could do. Thank you Byron Powersports and Tractor CO , I will definitely be back for my next purchase!
Rick, Donny, and the rest of the crew at Byron Powersports were excellent. I got a great deal on my Triumph. Donny called the next day just to make sure that everything was good. I told him that my bike did not have the TPMS sensors, but I was getting low pressure warnings on the dash. He called back later and said that when they loaded the updates pre-delivery, they must have activated the TPMS system. He apologized profusely and said bring it by any time and they will reset it. I am really pleased with my entire experience at this dealer and would gladly recommend them to anyone. Great people to deal with.
Priced a 2021 Yamaha mt03 today new msrp is $4599 this one is used so you dont have to pay freight fees and all the other stuff a new one cost had over 3500 miles salesman said $5700 with you mean you want more for a used bike with 3500 miles than a new one lists for I hope noone ever buys anything from these scam artists
WOW - we had traveled to Tennessee for our last 6 motor cycles. Never new these guys were just around the corner. Just fantastic customer service from Ron and (I wish I can remember his name) but from every person that picked up the phone in my numerous calls to the dealer before the purchase. THANKS GUYS !!!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Just because they were super busy, didn’t mean they were going to forget about customer service. Every employee we talked with at Byron Powersports was an absolute pleasure to work with. A huge shout out to Mike Pope for making my buying experience pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product and very patient when it came to the million questions I had for him. I will definitely be coming back here to buy my next “TOY”!
UPDATE: After the better part of a year, Ive worked with several members of byron powersports on ordering a new wheel for my KTM. Unfortunately in a world with endless backorders and shipping issues it still has not been delivered. I recently had a flat tire on my bike and I had the tire changed at byron as they do have the best rates in my area. This time the service department was very friendly and quick to help me with the tire change. Therefore Ive updated the review from 1 star to 4. Ill gladly change to 5 after the new wheel gets here but thats not their fault outside of the initial damage to the wheel.Awful experience. Ive bought a motorcycle here and Ive recently had my tires changed on a brand new motorcycle. It took 24 hours and several phone calls before my bike was done and I never received a call saying it was finished. Instead I just showed up and behold my bike was ready. After riding home I noticed how odd the bike handling was so I let the bike cool down for 5 hours then checked pressures. Both tires were 10-15 lbs of pressure too low... also my rear wheel had been severely scuffed in two locations on the same side. Orange paint now completely gone. I will never do business here again and I warn anyone else in the area to tread carefully.
Ive tried 3 times to deal with this dealership and everytime I walk away saying Ill never be back. Maybe this time Ill stick to my own word.1st time I was interested in a Triumph Bonneville, salesman said the Germans make a good motorcycle. I wound up Purchasing the bike at a dealer in Atlanta. .....Strike OneSecond time was a recall for said Bonneville and the service area was unwilling to work with me. Insisted I leave the bike before they would even order the part, which was dirt cheap piece of plastic to protect the wiring harness and would have taken all of 10 minutes to install. Called the dealer I purchased from and it was yeah, just swing by and we will slap it on.... Strike 2Today I stopped in to look at a Tiger 900 which I am seriously thinking of purchasing as a second bike and when I had a question about the seat height it was set at (there are two options for the owner to choose from) the sales guy gave me a dead pan I dont know, Id have to take it back to the service department to figure that out, he then turned and walked away. No, you just need the key and about two minutes of your time to remove the seat. Strike 3.I know these are probably minor things but maybe Im a little old fashioned and expect a little customer service for my hard earned money. By my count, youve lost about $25,000 of my money in sales and who knows how much more in parts and service. No need to respond to make it right as Ill never set foot back in your establishment again.
Selling used bikes for more that a new one cost is bad business. Attempted selling me a 2020 TTR110 for over $3500. Bought a brand new 2022 crf110f for $3400. Tried adding fees and not just tax to used bike as if they set it up. MSRP on 2022 ttr110 is $2300 and 2022 crf110 is $2500. On top the new bike has warranty. Where in the world he came up with $3500 for a used one is beyond me. No deals in byron, just overpriced bikes. Whats worse is when Bobby, I think that was his name, called me back and I told him I bought a brand new one cheaper than his used one he started bashing the Honda brand like the new fuel injected Honda is less reliable because of Chinese outsourcing. I know dang well if he had a crf110f in store hed be price gouging with it too. Not good sales move or interpersonal communication skills. Came off arrogant just like most bike salesman.
My wife and I purchased a Yamaha Viking VI Ranch Edition from Byron Powersports last week. What a great buying experience! We initially reached out via an internet inquiry on a Monday, when they are closed. First thing Tuesday I received a response on our inquiry. I then called and spoke with Mike Pope. Mike was fantastic, knowledge, professional and friendly. We were able to seal the deal in two phone calls, as Mike was very thorough and delivered on everything we discussed. The experience was just as good as soon as we walked into the dealership. Friendly greeting, immediate attention, and just nice folks. If you want to deal with knowledgeable and genuine people, reach out to Mike Pope at Byron Powersports. I received nothing for this review other than a great vehicle and great buying experience.Tim
Parts dept said one price for a tire, service dept charged another. They do not disclose complete costs until after the work is performed. Very expensive. Not only that you go to service for work and they send YOU to parts to see if parts are available.UPDATE: Mark, parts mgr called and apologized for the communication issues. Overall good folks. I doubt this incident is indicative of the experience of everyone.
We had an awesome experience this week purchasing our Ryker. I was apprehensive at first but Ron was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We weren’t rushed, bombarded and was patient with me since I’m not experienced with motorcycles. My husband and I are were extremely impressed with the customer service and the easy process buying our Ryker. We highly recommend purchasing here and know your needs will be exceeded when working with Ron.
Went in Byron motor sports to buy a tractor. Everyone was really nice. Bought the tractor and ordered a third function. Of course they had to order it. It was a Saturday so they couldn’t order it til Tuesday said it would be in Thursday and it would take a day to get it put. No one ever said they were having problems with shipping or they were behind in the service dept. Saturday will be 3 weeks I’ve been waiting to get my tractor. No one called I called Mike Pope the salesman he said that they ordered the part the same day I bought the tractor which the parts guy said he couldn’t order on a Saturday. So one of them lied about it. They finally said it would be put on last week and delivered yesterday which was another lie. Finally got in touch with a manager Aaron yesterday who said it would be Saturday before they could deliver it and the third function had not been installed. So I will be making a payment on a tractor before I ever get it. It feels like to me they got the sale and papers signed and then they just push you to the side until they get ready to do it. Never even got a phone call from the salesman. I hope for warranty reason I do not have to have it serviced there cause I’m not planning on going back or purchasing anything else there. All it would of took was a phone call saying shipping got delayed or something but nothing I had to make the call to them. . Like I said I signed the papers on the tractor and they don’t care anymore. Won’t purchase anything else from them
Went here to buy a Sea-Doo, they were the only place that had one in stock. My sales person was nice, and they were friendly at the parts department, however their doc fees and freight added up to about $800 more than other places around. I didn’t realize this till after purchase and getting a call back from other dealers in the area. I had asked them to help out, but only some side bumpers were offered.I would go again but have them submit a quote beforehand and ask them to match other dealers. Make a few calls.
I just moved to Georgia from Florida. I walked into this place and didnt know what to expect but I was greeted right away. A young lady by the name of Tabitha helped me. She was very kind and gave me her card after I purchased a helmet and said to me if ever I needed anything dont hesitate to call or come by the store. Another employee seen my army hat and thanked me for my service and asked if he could shake my hand. I must say that I will definitely be coming back to that store. These ladys and gentlemen are awesome 👌🏾👏🏾😎🙌🏾
I would not recommend this store. I wanted to pay out right for a Ryker. I was pushed to financing which i chose not to do. The freight costs are extremely high and they do not offer and veteran, first responder or ANY other type of offers. After waiting in store for 5hrs and having already purchased the bike i was told none were built and id have to wait another few hours or come back the next day. I came from 3 hrs away and was not able to come back or wait because the store was closing. They agreed to deliver it to my home. after leaving they called and said they only had yellow panels in stock. no other colors. I called the next day to check on delivery and they were on the way to my old address which i had my new address verbalized and written down SEVERAL times. after being re-routed the bike was delivered with 1 key so i was told by sales i would have to ride the bike back up 3 hrs to have anther key programmed to it. Being that they did not use my correct address, all paperwork and title was sent to my old address and i was not able to get the bike registered until i paid additional fees for the taxes being paid to my old county. It was a mess from beginning to end. i should have taken notice to the red flags and now im paying for it....literally....5k over sale price for the bike. I plan on upgrading next year and will go to Macon or Valdosta instead.
This shop was extremely accommodating. We were 4 hours into the family vacation and got a flat tire on our bike. We were stuck with no idea who to call. We were referred to Mark Crozier - parts manager. Mark found us a tire and a flat bed to tow us to the dealership. We were in and out back on our vacation in about 1.5 hours. Everyone was friendly and helpful allowing us to lounge and cool off. Thank you Mark!!!
I have been coming here for years to get my bikes serviced and it has always been a great experience. The communication is excellent and I really appreciate them making sure I know whats going on. Just recently upgraded and would like to thank Mike for getting me setup with the first service. The turn around time was excellent, I got my bike back much quicker than I expected and its running great. Also like to thank Ron for hooking me up with exactly the bike I was looking for and making the whole buying experience easy and enjoyable. Great team of people and theyre always my go to for anything motorcycle related.
I bought a Suzuki Van-Van from here about a year ago and had a great experience then. Yesterday I decided to trade my Van-Van in for a Triumph, and let me be the first to tell you the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we walked in we were greeted, but not pestered. After deciding on the Street Twin, a salesman named Ron assisted us with all our paperwork. Ron was amazing, super knowledgeable, and an all around fun guy to talk to. He is the best salesman I have ever met. If you need a bike or ATV, Byron Powersports is the place to go!
Was shopping for a new motorcycle helmet yesterday, and decided to check out Byron Powersports. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a young lady and introduced to Mr. Keaton Altimus, who works in the Parts Department. Keaton was very helpful, and displayed outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, so many young adults lack such professionalism these days. He represents himself, his family, and this company in a very positive manner, and I hope he continues on a positive path going forward. I was so impressed, that I actually ended up purchasing two (2) helmets, and three (3) pair of riding glasses. First impressions mean a lot! Great job Keaton!!!
Let me start off by saying I have never experienced the level of professionalism and expertise that I received at Byron Power Sports! Ron and the guys were so friendly and answered any and questions i had! We made a rather large purchase and i never felt like i was being pressured into to buying more than i needed or could afford. I was given an amazing deal on the Zero turn mower that we purchased! They didnt even mind that we brought the kiddos along who were amazed by all the bikes, tryks, and four wheelers! The facility was clean, well organized and family friendly! My husband is already trying to plan another purchase! I would definitely recommend Byron Power Sports to anyone looking for exceptional customer service with a small town atmosphere!
Went in to ask about prices on getting an oil change and was told that it will cost me $300. I was also told I needed a whole bunch of stuff done to it due to the year and mileage of my bike. Examples are lubing, inspections, tightening, etc. what really hit me was she said I have to get spark plugs and oil changed done forsure and that spark plugs will cost me $500. Price for sparks was that high because a 5hour labor was added. So that’s a total of $800-$900 for a oil/spark plug change. That’s crazy!!! She didn’t tell me the whole total for the other stuff that were mentioned because it could of easily went over the price of a new bike.Tips: do the service your self or find another shop. Online says spark plugs are an hour service. My bike is a 2016 Yamaha r6 with 600 miles. Garage kept and was service at 400 miles. I charge batteries during winter and have drained the gas before 6months.
Before going to Byron, I went to a local dealer near my home with multiple locations throughout the state and had a terrible experience. For some reason their numbers were not adding up at all given my credit score. They kept pushing and saying that they were going to do something crazy for me though if I preceded with doing the deal that day, but everything they came back consisted of me sacrificing something like putting money down, etc. They were not lowering the price or doing anything on their end. Something in my gut just didn’t feel right. So, I called Byron. I told him where I wanted to be as far as payment and their numbers came back right where I wanted to be and where I thought they should be given my credit score for the same exact Can Am listed at the same price. Their interest rate was 4% LOWER than what the other dealer quoted. So my gut was right! I made the 2-hour drive to purchase my Can Am from them. Also, I should mention he gave me numbers over the phone and they DID NOT change when I got there! They literally had me there for less than 30 minutes for paperwork and I was in and out which was such a pleasant experience. I am used to spending a minimum of 2 hours in a dealership which is exhausting. If you live in metro-ATL I would highly recommend that you go to Byron if you want a good deal, a good experience, and transparency. Trust me it is worth the drive! They are a great group of people.
Jeff Hunnicut made the purchase of my 2020 Yamaha TW 200 nearly effortless. He sold it to me at a great price and had it delivered to my home in South Florida only 4 days after we closed the deal! I highly recommend Jeff and Byron Powersports for out of state buyers like myself.
I had an excellent experience at Byron Powersports and I highly recommend them! I had to special-order parts for my Triumph. I worked with Pope and the team over a few weeks to get the parts ordered and then rode the bike all the way from Columbus to install the parts. Pope and the team had to improvise in order to remove the old part and install the new one . I definitely appreciated their extra efforts and they communicated closely with me during the entire experience. They had me taken care of that same day and I rode the bike home. Definitely worth the trip!!
I just purchased a 2020 can am sxs from Byron. This is my second purchase from them in the past 2 years. I’ve dealt with Jeff both times and the service has been awesome! Prices and details are the same upon arrival as agreed on over the phone. They are one of the few dealerships that actually care about customer service after you purchase the machine. Will recommend them to anyone going forward!
First and foremost integrity rules with me without exception. Communication is the key to success. Ron in sales and Tyler in parts have always been top notch. I bought several units from them over the last year or so. Although, the number of units should be mute. I would take everyone of them there for service. Then the issues started. No one would listen to me. Would not recommend them to anyone. Asked to talk with owner but never happened. I opened a case with even Can-am. The service department told them they didnt need Can-am help with one of my units. Considering Can-am built the unit. So I told them I wasnt coming back. I have not supported service in several months. I found other ways to service my units. Then I decided to give service another shot. They have a new service manager. Gina was awesome. She communicated with us every day until pickup. I would recommend talking with Gina with any service concerns. Top notch place. Communication is the key to success!!!!!!!.
Byron Powersports is the best. I had priced around and Byron Powersports not only met the price that I had been offered at another dealer, but went well below the price that I had been offered that also included a service plan and 5 year warranty. They were extremely friendly and acted like they had known me all of my life. No pressure at all. The parts and service guy came and introduced themselves to me. The owner came out and talked with me for over 30 minutes about everything except trying to sell me an ATV. He gave me his cell number and told me to call him if I ever have any trouble. I am terrible with names, so I will leave some out, but Rick, Hunter, Tom, the Service and Parts Manager were all super nice and helpful. They also have a great selection. I have rode by this place so many times and never realized how large it is. You guys keep up the excellent work and you will be around and doing well for a long time. It is nice to see a business that has excellent customer service as it seems to be a rare thing these days.
This is the worst place to order parts you pay for parts extra 2 Keys and they take your money and never place your order. Then they tell you they don’t know what happened and offer you 1 free key at no charge to make it right because I been waiting and they forgot to place my order and I have to wait a couple more days to get the 2 keys I pay for but the free key was a lie, when the day comes no call or part I call and get the runarounds and lie too ask about my order, they tell you my order will be there on a certain day and they lie again they tell you they going to call back and find out what happened and they don’t. This is not how you do business bad business.
Excellent service with a smile. I had an unusual maintenance stop due to a tire issue while traveling from Fl. They got me outfitted with a new tire and a great price. I was extremely pleased they were able to fit me into the service rotation on a MONDAY the same day of my problem.I am very pleased and back on the road. If you are traveling through stop by and check them out.Peace ✌️
Only reason I selected five stars was because six wasn’t available. Great experience all around! Super friendly staff and extremely helpful! Jeff, Aaron and Caleb made this purchase make me really consider why I’ve done business elsewhere in the past. Great selection! Great customer service! They earned a customer for life!
My son and I just bought our second bike from Byron Powersports in the last two weeks. Both times Hunter and the team at Byron PS were great and gave us an outstanding deal and great customer service. I am thrilled with the Triumph Speed Twin and my son is very pleased with the Yamaha R3.Save yourself a lot of time and money, go to Byron Powersports!
Well once we found it! Its 2 mi west of 75 not behind Krystal. Google maps wont fix the address.Meet w a salesman, (Bobby) he seem very knowledgeable. Meet w the manager. Nice enough fellow. For salesmen they seemed quite honest.im at least knowledgeable about bikes, but we didnt discuss (haggle) about prices yet or trade-in value of my bike. Well see!
Excellent customer service. Best buying experience for me. I bought a really nice Star Bolt from these guys. Great deal with a lot of accessories and these guys just got it right. Rick, Ron, Nathan and Pope are the ones to ask about, they will take good care of you. My future bikes will be bought from here.
Had a wonderful experience with Byron Powersports. Ron was extremely knowledgeable about the bikes and promptly replied to any questions that we had. Great attention for the customer at all levels. Sales staff, Parts staff, and Financing staff were all courteous and helpful. All purchasing experiences should be this pleasant. Highly recommended.
Day 1 of a 10 day trip and my BMW K1600B has a flat 60 miles east of Macon! Mike Pope and the guys at Byron Powersports assured me they could help first thing the next day. We had the bike towed in on Saturday morning and Zeb got right to work on it. They procured the proper tire for my bike and had me back on the road before noon. They were terrific to work with and very fair on their pricing. Thanks to their great service we only lost a few hours and were able to make up the lost time on the trip. Everyone we talked to there was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Great Experience! I spent most of my time with Hailey and Jeff; but everyone there was helpful and friendly... It was not at all pushy like other sale encounters Ive incurred.Jeff walked me through the inventory, made me feel comfortable finding a motorcycle just right for me. Then the negotiation and financial aspect was painless and not the least bit stressful.Hailey was sweet, quick and patient showing me the many jacket and helmet designs I could order.. and never lost her smile as I kept changing my mind.I will be back when its time to upgrade or get new accessories. Thanks guys! Btw, did I mention I Love My Bike!!
My Vibes with This Place is Awesome 🙌🏾..A Little over 5 yrs ago...I stop in and was looking for a starter bike after I got My TX Endorsement 😀...The Guy who was going to sale my first bike was very kind but unfortunately I went else where to get my 🏍Baby Yet Guess what I return to get Him Service, and I must say...This is My Place to Come for now on🙌🏾🙌🏾👍🏾👍🏾Thank EACH and Everyone for the wonderful Hospitality!
I bought my 🏍 in this store and I searched everywhere possible and they put the best price on the market. They treated me like family. I had a personal problem and I couldnt get my bike on the agreed day and they were very kind to understand my problem and wait for me for 1 more week. I finally drove from Florida to Georgia to buy my motorcycle at Byron Powersports Motorcycle and it was worth every minute I spent to get there.I bought my R6 2019 and today im the happiest man in this world. Thank you guys💪👍✌❤
I took my triumph Speed Twin to Byron powersports for my first break in service, Mike the service manager took the time to ensure me and my motorcycle was taken care of. We talked through what the service was going to do for my bike and we talked about the cost up front, no surprises! While waiting I walked around theyre huge showroom and was surprised of theyre diverse inventory, that have something to suit everyone here! I met some of the staff and it felt like talking to my old riding buddies again! They showed me some new cruisers and powersports and some previously owned bike, even knew the back stories, I was impressed! Ill definitely be bringing my business back here for all my needs, the southern hospitality, inventory, and prices just cant be beat!
My experience was pretty goodThe tire was sent damaged and then they had 2 order a new one. The new tire got there today and they got it done quick and did a great job. They also gave me a great discount for waiting so long. Will definitely give them more of my business.
Byron powersports has been great to us! We purchased two can Am Atvs from them two years ago and we love them! I have to give big props to Gina Defranco in the warranty/mechanic shop dept. She is Awesome and makes things happen! If yall need anything in that area please ask for Gina!!! Also Ron was a big help when we purchased our Atvs in 2019!
Mike Pope was our sales associate, we had a very pleasant experience with our purchase, Mike was very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions, we would definitely do business with again, & look forward to working with them in the future for all of our buggies needs A+ Thank You!
Back in May 2019 I began the search for a new utv. I had a 2002 Polaris ranger and decided it was time for an upgrade. I live up north of Atlanta and went to a local dealer to see what they had to offer. The sales rep there told me about can am and long story short I decided that was what I wanted. This dealer ordered me a 2020 XMR. I expressed to them I had a lot of things I wanted added when I purchased it as it would be used for hunting and they assured me this was no problem. The entire process turned in to a nightmare. Rude employees, work that was so bad other employees couldn’t believe it, no communication ect. I ended talking with the manger and telling him what occurred was unacceptable and that I wanted a full refund. He agreed it was so bad that the only way to make it right was to offer a refund.By July I was beginning to become worried if the vehicle I wanted was even going to be available this year. I had joined a Facebook page about Can Am and decided to post something asking for recommendations on the best dealers. The response was overwhelming. I did notice that as I read through these comments, one dealer came up over and over, specifically the name of a sales rep.The Dealer was Byron Powersports and the sales reps name was Jeff Hunnicutt. I found Jeff on Facebook and sent him message asking for his contact info. He almost immediately responded and asked how he could help. I explained what had happened at the last dealer and that I was very unhappy with the way things unfolded. He was very polite and told me a little bit about their dealership along with what scope of work they did. He told me they were open on Memorial Day and asked if I could stop by to talk with him. Only problem was, Byron powersports was almost 4 hours from my house. I decided after speaking with Jeff that the trip would be worth it and made the drive. I ended up buying a 2020 Can am defender max.During the sales process I explained to Jeff that I hunted a lot and had a list of things I wanted done before I took delivery. He immediately brought the Service manger out to talk with me about what I wanted. This was my First introduction to Mike Pope. Mike came out and after I explained what I wanted, he asked if I was open to some of his suggestions. It turns out, I ended going with most of his ideas as he had reasons and ideas I had never thought of.I headed to the parts department next to meet with Tyler about what all needed to be ordered. He was super helpful making sure I was getting the exact item I wanted along with ensuring it was a good price. He also made sure that everything was referenced to my order so all the parts were kept together. This was a huge problem in the previous deal and I was very glad to see a dedicated parts guy that knew exactly what I was talking about. Finally I met with Nathan, the Sales Manager who happened to be an avid duck hunter, which was the reason for buying the new machine. He gave me a lot of advice about using my machine for this and offered to help when needed.Bottom line- I don’t care where I live the next time I need to buy a utv. I will make the trip to Byron Powersports. I’ve seen the way other dealers operate and they aren’t even close. Customer service is incredible, sales process is easy, the quality of their work is next to none. This is really a first class operation. In the world we live in today that’s a rare thing to find.To the owner of Byron Powersports- you employ a heck of staff. If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I was not paid, offered discounts or given any incentives to write this review. I’m just a guy that was treated with incredible service and thought I should share my experience.
Jeff H. and the complete staff were so welcoming and polite!!! They made this process quicker than buying a car...reviewed the entire unit for me with a smile!!! You made my life into a wonderful experience of fun with my new toy!!You have a huge selection so I will be back...thank you so much!!!
Took my Bandit 1250s in for a tire change. I was greeted as I pulled my off my gear and shown a place I could hang my jacket and set my helmet. The service department quickly went into action as I browsed around the showroom. Before I knew it I, the bike was ready to roll. The staff was pleasant and helpful and took good care of my bike. The paint wasnt all finger printed up with greasy prints, and everything looked clean. Mike Pope was quick to answer all my questions and helped me get back on the road quickly, Will definitely be taking the bike back for service, and when the time comes to add that next bike to the stable, I know where Ill be headed.
First of all I bought my 2014 Yamaha Viking from Byron Powersports. I have been extremely happy with my Viking. As far as service after the sale Mike in the service department has been great. Jamie in the parts department has always been professional and easy to work with, she has beat or matched any parts prices I have brought to her. I am having my Viking serviced right now and I will post the results when I get my Viking back next week.
Brought in a bike with a flat tire and was greeted immediately by Pope. Had a time constraint and Pope and the guys were able to get me in and out and on my way back home. Friendly staff and cozy waiting area. A+ service and felt taken care of. Highly recommend the service center and dealership.
Amazing customer service from beginning to end. We will definitely be back for future purchases! Rick was very professional but also personalble. Knowledgeable, outstandingly friendly! Great group of guys you have working there!Tyler/rick our finance guy and everyone else we dealt with went above and beyond in helping us!
I have done business with them for 3 years with my old bikes and I have great service from them. Talk to Pope he will make sure you are taken care of the right way. I finally bought a bike from them and I dont regret it. I will always come back as long as Im in the area.
First I want to start off with the quality of everything that is sold in here is wonderful, they have amazing prices. They are a great place to get all your motorcycle & atv accessories. JOSEPH in their service department is absolutely a blessing in disguise with the help that he can give you over the phone and in person. Theyre not overcharging folks like other motorcycle shops around town. I used to go somewhere else in Macon and I will not go anywhere else but here now to Byron Powersports! Thank yall for the great service!
I was excited to visited but was quickly disappointed. Was not very impressed with the staff. General attitude of the salesmen seemed rushed and uninterested unless they knew they were making a sale. Unwelcoming and unfriendly staff made for a very disappointing visit. The bikes were nice though hence the extra star. No need to visit the store just pick out the bike online and buy, time is better spent talking to a wall than anyone here. ☹️
I came from Columbus GA to Byron Ga to purchase my can-am spyker. I had the most great experience with this group of people and the service department is great also. Mike Pope is the service manager and he is doing an awesome job and I would recommend BYRON POWER SPORTS to anyone who is in need of purchase a bike, can-spyder or service them.
Just purchased an SSR 150 scooter from here. The salesman Ron was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable, made me feel like family. Mike the service tech rep got the scooter checked over and serviced in no time. Aaron the financial rep made it a fast and easy transaction. Kudos to the entire BPS team!
When I first went in nobody came to help me but I was getting ready to leave a guy in the parts department asked did I need some. So, he got Ron for me and everything was very professional from then even the owner of the sore was down to death. If u want a good deal and good service go to Byron Powersports👌
I have an older GSX-R and I have to give Mike Pope a shout out here. He’s helped me source discontinued parts after my minor crash, for almost half the price I expected. I trust his attention to detail after finding damage that I had originally missed. I gladly make the longer trip out to Byron if I need any motorcycle repairs or service. These guys are life savers!
We had a great experience with them I had recalls done main reason was my latch on the front of my spider would not work. They called us to let us know what the cost would be just like they said that they wouldPeople that do what they said they would do means alot to me.It is one of my pet peas if you cant do as you say you going to do just don say anything. The people were very nice and professional and we got the service that I like to receive. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.
Went there to check out the store and my truck would not start for some reason when leaving. The guys were great, mechanics and parts guys came out and tried to jump start it and when that failed they push started the truck (standard). It was not a cool day to say the least. Owner has some great employees. Nice store, clean, sales people were very helpful, answered all my questions. The only improvement I can think of is carry some BMW Motorcycles.
I recommend going to visit these guys for any of your ATV, UTV, sports bike, cruisers. Not only will they set you up. They will hook you up on any accessories you may need. Ron is an AMAZING salesman, Aaron Darby is AMAZING in finance. You have definitely earned our business. Allow them to earn yours, you wont regret it!!
Im not one to read or post google reviews but Ive been a customer to this place since they opened in 2009. I have bought many bikes here and have always had great service from everyone that works there. They are the only ones to do any service to any of my bikes. Their service department is very professional and very knowledgeable on what they do, always a quick turn around time and easy on my wallet! Parts always have a-lot in stock and if for some reason they dont already have it they normally can get it next day. Definitely recommend to anyone to try them out, you wont regret it.
Awesome guys to deal with. Went there and they had my can am running again in no time!! Mike Pope is excellent on calling and keeping you up to date on the work. Also brought my Kodiak 700 up there after Capitol cycle said they couldnt get it warranted. Mike did a great job. 10 stars for Byron Powersports!! I wont go anywhere else!!!
Drove up there and dropped my Yamaha 230 TTT off for some TLC. Been sitting for awhile. Excellent service upfront and over the phone. Mike Pope stands out, called me back and worked with me to get the best deal and the best equipment that I needed for a repair on my rear wheel. Very happy with the service and professionalism that was provided for me and my bike. Will use again in the future for sure.
Nathan, Jeff, and Tyler are absolutely exceptional. Those gentlemen and his dealership will have my business from now on. These gentlemen are extremely professional and I strongly recommend for all of your power sports needs. I live in Charleston South Carolina its about a four-hour drive and I have no problem driving to a dealer that takes care of their clients!
“Great service as a first time customer. Dropped off a rear tire from my sons KLX110 to have the inner tube changed out late in the afternoon on a Saturday and they first checked to see if they had the bandwidth, which I really appreciated, and were able to complete it before closing. Meant we were able to regain part of the weekend back, Thanks guys!”
Everyone here is knowledgeable and professional. Prices on parts are always cheaper than anywhere else, period. Mike Pope in the service department saved me a ton of money by providing a smart and easy fix on my bike... Ill never forget the way these guys go above and beyond for their customers! Thank you!
We are from Tampa Florida we forgot our key at home to our atv which we realized as we were headed North they had a key instock and programmed it for us immediately. The staff was extremely professional, nice, and efficient. They did not even charge us for the programming !! Thank you so much !!
Mike Pope in the service department is always there to help.I had him check my tire pressure and he took the time to add the required air in and even lube my chain while he was at it.Hes always looking out for the customer and does anything and everything in his power to help you out.Jamie in sales is always a pleasure to deal with she is always able to answer a question or find it for you. I had a issue with my gloves and she took care of it in no time.
I already had my winch installed, but needed the guys to wire the switch into my ignition. This was done within an hour and at an extremely good price! I then purchased a helmet from the parts department and received a call to come scoop it up two days later! Everyone was extremely nice! Ill be back!
The staff at Byron Powersports was very helpful. Allen, Rick, and Jeff are very knowledgable about their product and want to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for and at a great price. Dont look too far away, these guys want your business and will work with you to earn it. Good staff, good inventory, good prices, they check all the boxes for me.
Stopped to get an oil change and needed brakes. The computer said they had none but Mike Pope climbed the steps to search the stock upstairs. Guess what he found? You got it, the brakes. Shot out to Mike, thanks for saving me another trip here! Zeb, thank you for working on my bike! Awesome service here!
My entire experience at Byron Powersports was great. Not only was the staff knowledgeable but they were very friendly and helpful. They walked us through every step of the purchase and made sure everything was taken care of prior to me leaving. I would recommend them to anyone.
Very professional service that might have saved my life! I took in my Honda Grom for a rear tire change and they noticed my sprockets where very worn and broken! Im very thankful they took the time to notice this. Im surprised my chain wasnt thrown by now. They quoted me a reasonable price to replace the sprocket and chain and I should be back on the road again soon.
I went in Saturday with an appointment at 4 salesman kept jumping in an out test drove 2 machines was really interested in the viking when I asked total price they play games by this time they were closing and didnt want to deal with me anymore so the sales manager caught a attitude and said ill get you a price and come back crazy msrp pricing and said they would be in touch today no luck there this is the third time Ive tried to purchase here. drove 1hr for no reason
Fantastic experience! My local shop didnt have the part, and I had a hard time finding the part online. I spoke with Jamie and she was exceptionally helpful. They had the part in stock, and she personally went out to the post office to ensure the part went out same day! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Even though they are 2 hrs away from me, I will certainly use them for future needs!
Bought tires for my Stryker from them on Friday and was told that they would be in on Wednesday. Due to shipping delays, they did not get there until Friday. Up to this point, not so much their fault. They advertise same day service on tires and oil changes. With my tires coming in on Friday, I called them then and was told the bike would be ready by 5:30. When I came to pick the bike up, the old tires were still on. I was told that I would have to wait in line behind other bikes, so no telling when they would get to it. So no same day service? I finally decided to go somewhere else for service and parts, but was told they could not refund me on the tires and that I was getting a great deal. I told the service technician I could get the tires online for the same price, free shipping and no tax and they would have been delivered on time. The only reason I purchased the tires here was to support local and have them do the maintenance. This was the second time Ive had a bad experience at this business and I dont intend to give them a third chance.
This place here dont have time for there customers that buy a tractor from them. Everytime i call and ask to speak to someone they put me on hold then turn and answer the line and tell me we have someone to call you back.. It never happen!!! Got a 1626 shuttle that been at the dealer going on 3 months for warranty part related issue for the front end load control..They biggest focus is on atv and motorcycles.. I will not deal them anymore for a purchase! I got a call and talk to Mike Poke and we talked about the issue I was having and got it resolve and was told things would get better for me and them..
Just bought a Spyder from Ron at Byron Powersports in Byron, Ga. for my wife. Ron was very knowledgeable about the Spyder and took a great deal of time to make sure Cheryl was comfortable with her new ride. We got a great price and financing with Aaron was painless. There website says “We won’t be undersold.” And they mean it.Everyone there is very friendly. You are sure to be pleased with your purchase.Thank you to everyone there.Jon
Byron Powersports is the place to go for great prices and exceptional customer service!! They made purchasing an atv effortless!!! We actually enjoyed the process. They are very knowledgeable about all of their products and have the equipment to suite all of you needs! A big thanks to Nathan and Mike for all of your help. I hope to see you soon for a new side by side!!
Byron Power Sports(Yamaha of Byron) helped me with an issue I had with my Honda Cbr 600. I recently bought my Cbr from them and I pointed out the issue to them and they had no problem fixing the issue and getting me back on the road and safe on my Cbr. They had wonderful customer service and hospitality. I would say Yamaha of Byron has my recommendation for other riders who need service. I would also like to thank the sales associate Jeff for putting me on my Cbr and Yamaha of Byron for the being customer friendly.
One of the best dealerships I’ve been to! If you live in or Around Georgia come to Byron and stop by the store! Just amazing customer services fantastic vehicles to choose from. I’ve been to multiple dealers in Georgia and never felt so welcomed and never been treated so kindly before. I give this dealership 20 star rating if I could. Just know when you walk in there your treated like family! Amazing job Byron powersports! When you go in ask for Ron! He is a rockstar! Thank y’all!
Im sure a lot of people are very happy and satisfied with the over all experience they have had. I would like to think they are now as good of a dealership as I once experienced. However, over a several months timeframe, 2 visits in a row and neither turned out very well. I wish them the best but, I dont plan to return anytime soon.. Nor recommend them any longer.V/r
On Saturday, November 11, 2017 I was on my way home from a car show in Perry, Ga. I saw the sign for Byron Powersports and since I am in the market for a bike, I stopped by.The salesman came out and I told him I was just looking around. I saw a bike I liked and he got the key for me to start it. I looked at it for a few minutes, thanked him, and left.I thought about it and the following Saturday I went back. I wanted to ride the bike and probably purchase it.I drove up and the bike was still there. I got out and while I was looking at it the salesman from the week before came out. The key was in the bike so I started it again. We spoke for a couple of minutes and I told him I wanted to take it for a test ride. He told me I could not test ride it until I made an offer for him to take to his boss, filled out paperwork, and got the numbers right. He also told me this was for insurance purposes. I call BS. I have ridden many bikes and did many demo days.I assume its a sales tactic. A very bad one if it is because it not only cost a sale but a customer who rides a lot and talks to a lot of bikers. Word of mouth advertising can be good or bad.So I am supposed to go in, make an offer on a bike I may or may not like once I ride it, fill out paperwork, haggle price, and all of this is just so I can ride it a couple of miles? No, thanks. The best part is the week before I was told the bike is 3,500 dollars and that is the price listed on their website. But this Saturday I was told the price is 4,000 dollars but everything is negotiable.I have been in sales most of my life and I will give Byron Powersports some free advice. If someone walks onto your lot and shows interest, they have already partially sold themselves on your product. All you have to do is find out what is needed to close that sale. In my case, it was a five minute test ride without strings attached.
Jamie Tharpe in the parts service is the best! She not only did here job well at locating my part within the store but also went the extra mile too help me get the service manual i need for my bike! Jamie your the only one i trust for my parts from this day forth ! So anyone needing help with parts go talk or call Jamie in parts she will give you all shes got plus more! One last thing Jamie made me feel welcomed and part of the Byron Powersports team/family thanks for all you do Jamie.
I visited Byron Powersports a few months ago and I was given better cutomer service from them tham anywhere Ive been before or since then. Everyone was friendly, there was none of that hunting for a employee that cares you find often elsewhere. They have a large selection of motorcycles, atvs, and offroad toys. I didnt shop for any gear, so I cant say what their selection was like. There is a decent amount of used motorcycles too. From what I know, they have a training course for trikes (3 wheel motorcycles) and Im sure for a low price you can learn the basic functionality of riding a motorcycle without hardly any risk. The location is a little out there for most folks around Macon, but they make up for it with a nice and functional website that shows a regularly updated inventory.
Just bought my first bike from Byron Yamaha and Im nothing but pleased. My salesman Bobby Hootman was fantastic. He listened to what I wanted before immediately trying to sell me a bike. Ultimate got me in a brand new bike for fantastic financing. No high pressure sales and was willing to work with me over a few days of tossing around the decision to finally do it. I would recommend Byron Yamaha to anyone who is looking for a new bike or ATV and Bobby especially of you want someone that will give you the time to make a conscious decision on a bike instead of a get it now or forget it high pressure deal.
I just have to say that I always have an excellent experience and customer service at Byron Powersports. Jamie is ALWAYS patient, caring and wants to be the best help she can be. No matter how busy, she will research your part or accessory and 99.9% of the time gives a better deal than those internet competitors. You can honestly see how she genuinely cares about what is important to the customer. She is the epitome of customer service.
Jamie, Tyler, Ron, and all the gang in the service dept are always so pleasant and happy to help. They bring back the personal feeling that used to be in dealerships a long time ago before everybody got to busy to be kind. I enjoy going to Byron Powersports even to pick up a small item bc I like to say Hi to everyone and see them smile.
The Sales and Service departments are excellent and go above and beyond with customer service. I have purchased fourwheelers from them and as well have them serviced here with very reasonable costs all around. If you play as hard as I do and put your toys through hell, this is the place to bring them!
Listen up folks, I don’t give 5 stars unless it’s earned. I’ve been looking for a 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 XCA. found a few here in Georgia. My home town shop had a XCX which is a less valued model. Tried to get them to work with me on the price (we have to save where we can). They didn’t seem to be motivated to sell. Called another dealer in Atlanta on the XCA and same story. So by luck I found Byron Motorsports and give them a call. Told them what I wanted and where I wanted to be on price. They told me they would work on it and call me back. In 2 hours the phone rang and they were within $352.00 of my request. I told them I would be there on Saturday and within 45 minutes of arrive I owned exactly what I wanted for what I wanted to pay. Ron Cleghorn (salesman) had excellent product knowledge. Rick Hall (manager) greeted us with Ron and came back multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly. The service manager came to answer any question and give use his card for any of our needs. Tyler Brannen (Parts manager) helped my wife with a new helmet purchase and Bluetooth. Set it up and all. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, and ONE OF THE BEST BUYING EXPERIENCES IVE HAD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
“I ordered panniers for my new Triumph Explorer through Jamie at the parts counter. She was very courteous and proffesional. She told me she would call and send an email when they came in and she did. Im sure weve all heard Well give you a call when the parts come in. Only to never receive a call. Well, if Jamie says shes going to call, shes going to call! Customer service, thats where its at!”
If you are in the market for any kind motorcycle,/ATV, Check with Ron first, he was awesome to work with. He made buying my husbands Harley a very easy process. He gave him a great deal, he will always have our business. We will be sending anyone we know looking your way.
“Ron got me set up for new bike. Helmet was here next day and good prices. Will be back and have many times. Thanks”If theres a part for your motorcycle that you want, Jamie can find it. I am up there 10 or 12 times a month buying stuff for my bikes and can always find what Im looking for.”
Literally had 13 hours on the UTV and the belt broke and the clutch is bad.. bought the extended warranty for five years, Keep in mind this Machine is only 7 days old. Byron Motorsports, was good With information on helping me get my machine back going, I will always and forever let people know that you have the Best warranty in the ATV and UTV industry For this Can am dealer.
I traded in my bike and bought a used FZ10 from Byron Powersports. The sales and financing experience wasnt bad, it was normal dealer business. But everything after buying the bike has been pretty horrible from both a communication and diligence perspective.Pretty sure the source of all my issues is T.J. in the title registration department. It took about a month and a half for me to receive my plates from the registration of the bike. I called periodically and received a different answer for each update. There were issues with the check and information being sent to the title office and I didnt receive any notification or heads-up about what was going on. Each time I called was a different story with what the issue was. That was finally resolved after a month and a half after I had to renew the temporary tag.It has also taken two months for them to even send out the check for paying off the loan on the bike that I traded in. I bought the bike on 7/22 and after numerous calls/letters from the bank that holds my old loan. I called today and was told that the check was mailed yesterday. So two months to send a check with no updates. None of this would have been an issue if they had just been proactive and given me a call to tell me theres been some delays in processing but the fees and everything will be taken care of.Long story short: sales was fine, everything after was a pain in the ass. Would rather pay a bit more for less hassle. Cant recommend them to anyone.
Ive been bringing my bike to Byron Powersports and the former Robins Cycle Center for the past few months, and initially and ever since, have delt with Mike Pope. First, hes the consummate professional. Hes always been straight with me and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my bike in his care multiple times to get her purring right.Bottom line, Mike Popes a really good guy and his high level of customer service, combined with his ability to deliver as promised, is the key and main reason Ill keep returning to Byron Powersports.
***CROOKS! BAIT AND SWITCH ARTISTS***After submitting an inquiry on a 4 wheeler with nice wheels and tires I was answered not immediately but over 48hrs later. Jeff Honeycutt their specialist has 0 customer service. Never answered or acknowledged my questions about anything. After my inquiry was answered it took 8 more hours to answer a question with its sold. Then told me about a bike 3500 more than the one I inquired on. After expressing my frustration with the lack of customer service and that I would look else where that I was looking in the 6k range not 10k range he informed me that the price on the one I wanted didnt include the wheels and tires pictured on their website, and to have a nice day instead of trying to save the deal. No where does it say anything about price doesnt include wheels and tires. BAIT AND SWITCH. I will gladly spend more money somewhere else to not deal with these crooks!
Picked up a 2017 Triumph Thruxton from Byron Powersports. Rick was my sales person and he was fantastic from the start of the sales process all the way through to delivery. Rick went out of his way to earn my business. Ron spent a lot of time going over the new bike with me and ensuring that it was loaded safely for transport. Every person I came into contact with at Byron Powersports were very professional and helpful. I drove 350 miles roundtrip to pick up my motorcycle and would gladly do so again.Ken J Atlanta
These guys are awesome at Byron Power sports. Conner is very knowledgeable on the equipment that we were interested in. The finance manager Nathan knew exactly the type of financing I was looking for and even through in a YETI cooler to make the deal even sweeter. I highly recommend these guys for your next power sports purchase.
Bought my Spyder F3s last August; Ron was a wonderful sales person; no pressure, but knew his stuff. Just today, we had to bring in our battery because when my daughter rode my byke last, the tail lights would not go off.Mike in Service helped me with my battery and gave me some sound advice.Jamie in Parts is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Thanks Byron Powersports!
I let them service my 2012 Yamaha big bear for warranty work back when it was new and will not use them again. Took over 3 weeks to get my bike back. They left my nearly new atv with less than 100 miles on it outside in the rain after being asked to keep it inside. And got it back fixed but dirtier than I took it in......on another note highest prices on titan tractor implements in the state drove to gainsville for a bush hog that bryon had in stock and even with the almost 5 hour round trip drive saved $600.
I was in a bad mood from being lied to at Capital Cycle. I had called ahead to Capital Cycle in Macon for a specific inexpensive Shinko Tour master rear Tire. I was assured that it was in stock and I would get it for around $94. I asked to be transferred to service to quote putting it on our bike. It was to be $91. I was okay with this, but much to my surprise when arrived the tire was $130 and it mattered not that I had spoken to someone to get a price before driving an hour there to get the work done. I called Byron Power sports and much to my dismay I was meet with the almost same scenario. I called and they advised of a price but when we got there they did not have the tire in stock. Claiming it was a mistake the manager did a wonderful thing. They gave the more expensive Dunlop Elite tire to us for the quoted shinko price. I was prepared to get mad again but they took ownership of a mistake and ended up with some very happy customers. We will be back and we will be keeping the Dunlop tires on our bike. I thank the manager who was working Saturday 8.6.2016…
This dealer is among one of the top 10 dealers in the nation. They have a huge selection. They seem to get in the limited editions before some of these dealers up around Atlanta. I think it is because they sell so many in the area. Friendly and welcoming staff and great prices. We will buy here again.
I came to Byron Powersports initially to get a tire repaired. MIle immediately noticed a knock in my engine. He assured me that he had someone who could repair it . Thanks to his proffessionalism and courtesy, I gladly left my bike in his hands and it is running great. Zeb is also a great mechanic. You now have a loyal Harley customer and I recommend all my friends come here alsoMarcus Bowens
Bad experience. Spent over 4 hours there waiting on finance person to bring me back into office to discuss my options. Was kept in showroom with no updates, even left a couple of times. Every hour a rep would say, we are working on it. Only to see other customers being assisted before me. They pick and choose which customers theyll help in their particular order. I should have left then but I waited. Finally I said , look this is horrible, bring me into an office and lets discuss this or I am leaving. After that, I left with my 4 wheeler. A week later I was washing it down and noticed my tires were on wrong. The wider tires are supposed to be on the back but one was in the front. I called to make sure I could come in but the rep was telling me I was wrong and thats how they were supposed to be. I came up there and the head mechanic admitted they were on wrong. Not only does the inside crew suck but the mechanics cant even put tires on properly. Would not recommend.
The shop is beautiful. A lot of motorcycles on display...lots of good looking machinery. I went to pick up an item for a four-wheeler and they sold me a product that they said would work, but it was a generic version. Needless to say, it didnt. Make sure you know exactly what youre looking for when you go.
Awesome place for any of your motorcycle or atv repairs. They have great customer care, Mike Pope was a pleasure doing business with and helped answer all my question and concerns. Very friendly people there at Byron Powersports. Definitely check them out for any of you motorcycle or atv needs.
Very satisfied with the service here at byron power sports. I just recently moved back to the area and Mike Pope from the service department made me feel right at home after being out of the area for about 20yrs! Thanks again Mike for all your help I look forward to continuing business here at Byron power sports.
My fiance and I have recently financed a brand new Yamaha R1 through here. With it we received a credit card that we used to purchase a dirtbike, a second motorcycle, and several accessories and upgrades. After spending more than $20,000 at this place, they lied to us about the clutch being under warranty, which it burned out less than 2 months after purchase. Then they put in the wrong clutch when we paid extra for a better clutch and refused to speak with my fiance about any of it until we had to go elsewhere for the correct work to be done where it was also cheaper. There we also found out that the Power Commander 5 we had purchased was put in backwards from Byron powersports. They were rude the entire time, and expected payments for the card when we never even received a payment plan for it. Our entire experience has been unprofessional and nothing but costly and aggravating. I would not recommend shopping at Byron Powersports for any reason!
Byron Powersports are by far the best Can Am. Dealership in the Metro Atlanta area. I drive from locust grove to get all my service for my 2018 Spyder rd. The staff is very professional and will do the very best to inform you of all the thing you need to kept your bike in prefect condition. The service department is very dedicated to ensure you have great experience while you visit. I want to thank Mr Pope at service department for making my visit enjoyable. I would recommend that you visit Byron Powersports if you are looking to puchase a Spyder.
If you are in the market for a new or used bike do not go to yamaha of byron!! They will not stand behind what they sell.I had been looking for a used raider and found one here online at a good price. When I called to see if they still had it I got passed around several times then a guy said I think its still here not sure. So I took a chance and drove 100 miles to look at it. They did have the bike and it looked to be in good shape so after purchasing unlike every other bike iv bought they would not deliver even for a fee. So came back the next day to pick it up and was told it just had a full service before it was put on the floor for sale and wash while I was gone. But when I returned it had mud on it.After getting the bike home I did a more detailed inspection on the bike and rode for the first time. I know, I should of done before purchasing but put a little to much faith in the dealer. Anyway the battery was shot had to jump the bike off every time, clutch was slipping, no front breaks, front tire was dry rotten and oil looked as if it had never been changed. So took the bike back a couple of days later to address the few issues and they were all to happy to fix the problems for full price of parts and labor After only having the bike less than five days. Yet I was told they would give me a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty when I bought it plus I got the 1 yr Y.E.S plan.So I paid full price for breaks and battery plus labor. Then later in the week i took the bike to a reputable yamaha dealer with a much friendlier staff and got a full service, New front & rear tire and cluch. All this with in 10 days of buying the bike. Now several months later could not be happier with the raider. In short yamaha of byron has the worst customer service, will not stand behind what they sell, very over priced gear.do yourself a favor and Just stay away from this place!!!
I recently purchased a 2017 Can Am Spyder RTS from Byron Powersports. We negotiated a fair price, and I did the purchase remotely from Alabama. The entire process went smoothly. Kevin, Rick, and Amanda were very helpful in handling the purchase, recommending shipping options, and completing the associated paperwork. I highly recommend Byron Powersports!
They did a front brake pad change on my 2013 HD with ABS. They didnt do the required ABS brake bleed because they dont have the equipment, and didnt tell me they didnt do it.1000 miles later my front brakes malfunctioned, they wouldnt release properly, until the tire locked up. Fortunately this occurred on straight and dry conditions instead of a turn on wet roads. I would have gone down.Took the bike to a HD dealer who performed the required service.I have had no problems since. Those are the facts. Do I KNOW that not bleeding the brake system caused the malfunction? No, but there seems to be a connection. The fact that Yamaha of Byron knew of the required service, but didnt tell me about it pissed me off. They should have said, Your pads need changed, but we dont have the equipment to do it right, take it to a HD dealer instead of trying to make an extra $50 off me and putting me at risk.
I give Ron six stars and the man to the left of his office. I cant speak for the rest of the team but these two gentlemen got me exactly what I wanted with a great rate and great monthly payments with the total of the machine stayed the same. Very nice group of people and willing to help. I recommend heading down there and let them try to find just what you want. They not only got me my utv but also threw in some great extras. Thanks ron
Ripoff! They lied about their part prices. Lied about labor time. I regret using them. When confronted the said their prices are higher because they paid shipping for every single item (even the washer)! LIE! They told me labor was going to be 7 hours, turned into 17 hours and they had my signature since the beginning so I had to pay way more. Not a man of his words when he said it will be done in a week. Next I get the bike with a lot of pollen on it like its been sitting outside, because they wanted to charge more for labor I guess. Ripoff Alert!!!!
Carried my honda shadow in to repair/replace frontire.delt with tyler in the service dept. Professional young man.he looked over my bike and pointed out somethings l needed to worryabout. My bike is older, and they dont really work on older bikes.which i understand.hard to get parts but tyler pointed out some leakage i need to worry about. Not trying to make a sell.customer information. He ws streight talking but respectful.i like that.found brake problem fixed it while the wheel was off.im happy and recomend these guys.
Had a excellent experience, the staff was polite, friendly, and very professional, Mike and Bobby was very helpful on to separate visits, Mike even came in on his day off so my wife could drive the side by side to make sure she was comfortable and the kids would be okay in it, outstanding service on all levels,

2022-04-23Bought a beautiful Manitou V-Toon from Bryon Powersports today and the experience was wonderful. Jeff Hunicutt, our salesman was not pushy at all & made our purchase happen without any problem. Everyone from the finance man, Aaron, to the guy who shared all the features of the boat (maybe Ray?) we’re awesome and easy to deal with. Thanks Bryon Powersports

2022-03-04First time customer with BPO. I was very impressed with the sales staff. Jeff worked with us like he was an old friend, and that goes along way when the prices are so competitive between dealers. Everyone went out of their way to make my Defender just like I wanted it. Thanks to everyone involved!

2022-05-18My son wanted a Can-Am renegadexmr 1000 for his graduation gift on May 21 and we searched locally and called around to every shop locally either they had one in but it was missing parts and the parts was on back order and they didn’t know when they would get them or they couldn’t get the Can-Am renegadexmr 1000 cause they was hard to get or they had a long waiting list if they get on in. Just so happened we found Byron Powersports and I called and spoke to Skylar and he was very helpful from start to finish, he even sent me pictures of the 2 they had in. Skylar thanks for everything and my son loves his Can-Am and we appreciate how friendly and professional Skylar was from start to finish.

2022-02-25I brought my Suzuki Boulevard M109R to get repairs done and they did a great job. They were available to work on my bike when most other shops were weeks behind. It lets me know that they focus on making their customers happy and they actually do the work they were paid to do instead of just keeping your bike for the longest time. I recommended another friend to get their bike repaired also and Byron Powersports had it done with no problem. Anytime I have issues Im only going here.

2020-08-05Okay first Google Maps had me behind the Big Peach Mall. If your traveling north on I 75 exit and take a left, South on I 75 exit take a right. Go about 2 miles out Ga Hwy 49 its on the right.Salesman gave me a catalog, answered questions on Can-Ams, Triumph motorcycles, and the car cycle.

2022-02-22Extreme Price gouging at ByronsI needed 2 vikings for my business and was lucky enough to find one that I bought yesterday at a different dealer. I was absolutly dumbfounded today by the quote I got on a $15,299.00 yamaha viking vI from Bryons sales rep Donny. Im in the rental business, so I dont pay sales tax and they quoted me $21,844(no taxes) for a unit thats arriving in April. They blamed it on shipping etc. They quoted me $1,690 for shippjng when it clearly states on yamahas website says they charge $875. its amazing I bought the same thing yesterday with $875 shipping at another dealership. I got the same viking VI at the other yahaha dealership for just under $18,000 without roof and window. Bryons quoted $1,700 for roof and window jnstalled. I ordered a roof and window myself to install on the unit I already bought elsewhere and although i didnt want them to install(just wanted their price for comparison to maybe get) I was shocked they would charge over $1,000 more for installation of a window and plastic roof when it takes less than a hour in labor. I rent utvs and have installed both many times.Just dumbfounded they would try to take advantage of someoe like this. I will be calling yamaha about this tomorrow ....just crazy !!!

2022-02-18Avoid doing business with these guys. I am so disappointed by the way they do business here. I was pricing out a Bad Boy Mower with them and they tried to upcharge me over $800 more than it would cost me at any other local dealer. They have a ridiculous amount of fees, such as a $399 dock fee which makes no sense, considering Bad Boy doesnt charge them freight if they order enough mowers, which for a company this size, you know theyre ordering enough mowers... They also wanted to charge me a tag and title fee, which also makes no sense considering lawn mowers arent tagged or titled in GA. Youre not going to find that fee at the other Bad Boy dealers in the area. They also go off of MSRP instead of Bad Boy Mowers promo price that is advertised on the Bad Boy website. Any other dealer in the area will match that. Byron Powersports will not. I gave them every opportunity to win my business, and they failed so miserably.
