Making a purchase and realized I didnt have my card for my points I asked if they could look up my account at the register and they said no. The very helpful cashier said to go to the CS desk and they could look it up and apply it to my account with my receipt. I went to the CS points desk and I asked politely If I could get my purchase applied to my account she said no not without going back and refunding the transaction and ringing it through again. Being Fathers Day I did not have time to do this...I told her what the cashier said and she said no thats not the way it works and very crassly told me to have a nice day. They have done points for me this way before and I dont appreciate this person being condescending to me ...not a good reflection on your customer service AND if this is true she could have offered a solution in a much better light. Disappointed 😞
I had a recall on a boat I bought late last year. Pretty angry as I havent been able to put it in the water. The service department was very understanding and got me in within ten days. The service department was very chill and professional and had me on my way within a half hour. I will give star vouch for at least that part of the store.😀
Worst gun store experience I have ever had, will never return. Went in with the intent of buying a CZ teal, saw they had them in stock. Checked in, took over 30 minutes for someone to help me, because it took 4 associates to help check out one person. Man who finally assisted us was extremely rude, when I asked to compare 2 guns, he told me this isnt show and tell and asked if we actually intended to purchased anything. Man was rude and clearly was not interested in helping us, complete waste of 30 mins. save yourself the effort, there are many great gun stores in the area.
Just got myself a good ol reel and pole and couldnt believe the store. Everything was neat and decorate. Well done Cabelas. The staff was very helpful Donna and Jenniffer were very nice to me when I came to customer service. The cashiers were very underage to be working but Sveriah and that brown boy Diondre and Susan helpful to. The glasses hut should be like th cashiers and stand in their area. The blonde chic K soemthing very distracted with the other employees now that needs to be resolved. I do not want to need sunglasses and the worker is no where around. Oh and I do not want a vacation stop asking me and no i do not want a credit card.
Getting accosted 3 times within a few feet is not enjoyable. Bad enough weve got to awkwardly decline two membership requests but then we have some lady with a clipboard pounce on us immediately after, asking where we would want to travel. Anywhere without obnoxious sales tactics, thanks.
Great selection of Quality sporting goods. Bought a fishing pole there for $39.00 after I came home I found the same pole at another store for $69.00. It was the exact same pole. The other reason for the review is we were on our way back from Florida and could not find a campground to stay in anywhere in this vicinity. Cabelas offered for us to stay the night in the parking lot as long as we were gone before store opening the next day. This was extremely kind of the staff there to allow us to do that. Thanks a bunch you save me from trying to drive too far in one day making the road safe.
I wouldnt even leave 1 star if I could still leave a review. Ordered a 13x27 outfitter tent, liner and roof protector. Cancelled the order within 12hrs. They said I only had 15-20 minutes to cancel. Seriously??? 15-20 mins is ridiculous first of all. They were all returned in transit, I never touched them. Yet, Ive only been refunded for the roof protector. The liner isnt back yet after a week and a half. The tent...biggest ticket item, supposedly was never returned by FedEx. Now, I have to go thru fraud department for an item I never even touched or saw, for that matter. Will never ever buy from cabelas again and Ill be sure to spread the word about purchasing from them online.
I can Truley Say this was a nice place...It is Sooo Huge and has so much stuff. I drove passed it many times never knowing how much was going on. This is Such a Busy place also. I was so Happy They Were letting people take there pets to take pics with Santa. 🎅I Called many places and most places Canceled it.You do have to Scheduled the pic.They had great time slots too.I want to Thank Cabelas so much for Our Family Christmas Pic.And the Pic was Free.Yes Did I say Free. 🙂🐶💚❤
It is a store people go to buy different things. The clothing are very nice. But, I personally loved the animal display. Why? Because it is wonderful to think how such beautiful animals would truly look if I were able to see them all alive. As to the hunting gear only a hunter would know.
First time in this Cabelas. I stood at the gun counter for more than 30 minutes waiting to pick up a gun. When I walked up there were 6 employees behind the counter. Slowly, each employee would look at their watch and then head to the back without ever so much as acknowledging the customers waiting. Only 1 associate remained and he was overwhelmed. First time, last time in here. I will never order a gun from Cabelas again, let alone come in this store.
Store is very big and lots of things to look at. My family had a good time here we are traveling from Ohio and was expecting some hot weather lol. Although the wind was unexpected we loved shopping here. I managed to get a vacation from Jordan at the booth. My family and I can’t wait we love traveling and so glad cabelas had this event at their store! They even accept bass pro cards here for anybody concerned! Sabrinah was very helpful to make sure I got all my gift cards used up. I will definitely travel back to this location again. Thank you for a great shopping experience and vacation!
Great store with a great variety of items to buy for outdoor use. That is not why I give it a 5-star review though. I am the leader of an American Heritage Girls Troop. Cabelas has a charity that donates items to scouting troops. We were given a grant which enabled us to get many items that we needed for our outdoor adventures. This was a huge blessing to the troop. This really helped us as we are just starting out as a troop and had nothing. I am so thankful to Cabelas for this. The woman that helped us to get the grant was very kind and thorough. She even helped us to get a little bit more than what the grant was able to give us by donating some fishing poles the store no longer needed. With so much corporate greed out there you have to love a place that gives back to the community. ❤
If youre an outdoors person, you probably already know and love Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops. They have all the main items and some more niche items too. I was able to pick up some small rifle primers at a reasonable price one day (got lucky) when other places are gouging folks for the same items.I only wish this shop were a bit closer to me, but am grateful for it nonetheless.
Pretty Good Selection and Incredibly Overpriced (FYI: Bass Pro Shops bought out Cabelas). Employees arent as helpful (knowledgeable with their products) as they should be. Employees stare you down like you dont belong.Tonight, I had questions involving reloading 12-gauge shotgun shells and no one in the gun section had any idea what I was talking about (till they looked it up on their site and saw the products I was requesting existed which are common reloading items and load data from Lyman Load Data manuals). Why sell something in a store and dont inform your employees about it makes it difficult to earn money on those products.Its always a trip to see all the dead, stuffed animals all around the building as they stare at you through their lifeless eyes as you shop.
First time at Cabelas. Our family went to do the photo op with Santa. We loved the store layout and variety of products. The prices for the Santa photos are amazing. We only wish we had more time with Santa. It did feel a bit rushed. Other than that, we will be back. Great store!
Overall it was a great experience. The store is really pretty, tons of scenery placed around to catch your eyes. My husband and I came in for the fishing supplies and to buy some ammo. Both had great selections, especially the fishing section. We got lost for an hour browsing their selection of baits and tackle.Im going to remove one star from the experience due to their semi-predatory credit card spill they force their staff to do. I feel so bad for them, as I have worked in sales in the past. It sucks having to bother people with a credit card that you know they dont want. Just put the information at the register for people who are interested and dont make your staff bother folk. Its awkward for everyone involved.
Oh my god! Ive died and gone to heaven. What a great store.This was my first Cabelas visit and it certainly wont be my last. The Gun Library was probably my favorite part and the staffmemeber there was very friendly and helpful, but the main display area was awesome and the product range was something to behold. Found the knife I was looking for; their range of knives and guns is truly impressive.Even the rest room was clean and tidy.
First thing was they did not have what I needed even though their computer and the internet said yes. Then they refused to sell my e the display even if at all a discounted price. Next the manager refused to sell me the item that was a little more expensive for the same price. I was left with no choice but to buy the cheapest model.Took it home and started to put it together only to discover parts missing and some damaged.The good news is that the return and exchange process could not have been more pleasant.
Totally missed this side of town it was worth the 45 minute drive to pick up a very special gift for myself In 2 weeks prior purchasing another great big ticket item and to top it off really great sales The staff is top notch Entertaining knowledgeable and just really the best
I have always liked Cabela’s products and enjoy shopping in their stores- especially this one- the employees are always polite and very friendly! Being a Cabela’s Club member, I was invited to their annual VIP event last weekend and it was impressive! They offered special discounts, provided food, a local high school band playing Christmas music and I even won a Mr Heater propane heater as a door prize!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO THIS FACILITY FOR ANY SERVICE/MAINTENANCE!!! I took my boat to this location for recent service and when I picked it up they charged me twice what they said they were, my fish finder bracket was broken off, and most importantly my $700 trolling motor was STOLEN off my boat. They lied to me and said they didn’t put it outside without the cover on it; however, there were leaves all in my boat. I cannot believe the way management has handled this situation…completely unapologetic. A police report will be filed for STOLEN property. I will NEVER return to this Cabela’s for any reason!!
This is an amazing store. Tons of things to shop for from, fishing gear, hunting gear, camping gear, mens and womens clothing, coolers, firearms, ammunition, gun safes, boats, etc. If it has anything to do with the outdoors, Cabelas has it! There is always a fresh clean smell when you walk through the door. Very friendly staff who are always eager to help.
Took my daughters bow here for some upgrades and tweaks. I know the basics about archery and really needed the help of a pro. Tyler knew exactly what she needed and spent an hour making sure everything was perfect. He didnt care that I didnt know much, he was very happy to help. He made tweaks and tested them to be sure they were right. Tyler was a lot of fun during the entire process and I learned a lot. He stuck with me until I checked out up front. Jim took care of the rest and was also a big help. Im very impressed with the service at this Cabelas. It is a bit of a drive for me, but it is worth it. Tyler and Jim have my trust and I will return. Thank you both!
It was a great place to spend time with my son & his two boys.They have lots of things organized in a great wayThe boys loved the stuffed animals spread throughout the facility, not to mention the HUGE aquarium with large live fish.My son went to get specific items, he was able to quickly find these things and we had a ball.
This store has everything for your recreational and sporting needs. They have items for your RV, fishing, hunting and more. Customer service is excellent. They helped us with our purchases, answered all of our questions, and we left as happy customers. Will definitely return to Cabelas.
Customer service is lacking in the shoe department - something that some decent training can easily fix. A customer shouldn’t be frustrated enough to leave the store without any purchases due to an employee who bad mouths their coworkers, and rudely judges a customer over their current footwear.
I have shopped at Cabela’s for years and have been to many of the locations. As much as I like the company. The rudeness that I have experienced at the Acworth store and especially the rudeness and complete contempt my wife has suffered when shopping for gifts for me has finished me with not only this location but the company in general. It is a shame that these employees who show complete contempt for customers and women in particular have caused me to walk away from the company.
This Cabelas is awesome! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The selection of items is huge and stocked. The store is very clean and orderly. They evene had a pretty big bargain cave. The one thing this one lacked was it did not have as many stuffed animals as the others I had been to but thats okay. Check out was fast and easy. We will return when we get the chance.
I love this store for so many reasons, and really dislike it for one- we got asked SO many times to sign up for a credit card, offered a free hat, have you heard about our special, enter this drawing, etc etc. It was obnoxious! They have people in the store whos only job is to make people sign up, who are obviously under pressure to get people to do so. I ended up not buying anything last time I went bc I got asked 3 times in the the same dept that I was shopping in. I just gave up trying to focus on what I was looking at.
The store is great the help is great selection spectacular restrooms where hospital clean would be five stars but we were hounded (well not hounded) but solicited four separate times by four different people not sure if they were employees trying to get us to join the Club or independent reps trying to get up to sign up for a give-a-way or a combo of such but as a first time visitor it was off putting. I just want to go shop and was there to spend money I really don’t want to be solicited while in a store I am already bringing my business to. I’m not chomping at the bit to go back for this reason but the staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the selection great. And I realize the solicitation is part of those who were hired to do it but just too much for me.
What is not to love about this store. I just like walking throughout it. My son really loves the fish tanks and stuffed animals. I love all the camping gear. My only complain is that they dont have a lot of selection in the way of hiking gear. I would like to see more ultralight gear, but thats just me. Also no kids hiking shoes. Other then that Just a cool place to get your outdoor gear.
I use to work here, so Im being careful not to be bias one way or another. Store was very clean and merchandise was stocked neatly. Time in line took a little longer than it should have with only 2 people in front of me. Also, it makes no sense for employees to be required to wear masks yet not for customers.
The staff is very helpful. The store is neat and orderly. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. Its easy access from the highway. They have the best interest rates for credit cards at 9 % beats all other competitors. I got 2 accounts with them I pay half the amount on time and my credit score has gone up so fast. Im a fan of there policies.
I have shopped at Cabelas for years and have never had to deal with customer service until recently. It was a very bad experience. They were not helpful and made excuses for not returning my calls and getting me an answer. Very disappointing to have such poor customer service.
If you know what you need and they actually have it in stock, great. However theyre change in policy backing their Cabelas equipment and clothing have changed to Bass pro standards. No thanks, Im not into buying equipment every year to go hunting because it fails from poor quality.
This place usually has a great selection of items even if the price is a little inflated… The gun library is cool and the employees are always very friendly. What I do not like at all is constantly being sold a credit card and time shares. It absolutely ruins the experience for me. You almost have to rude to the sales people because “no thanks” does not work with them. I DO NOT WANT A FREE HAT 🙃
I go here for fishing tackle. I generally buy everything online, but tackle is one of those things that I like to be in person for. This location has everything you need, but you will definitely pay for it. I give it 3 stars because they mark many things on sale but you have to pay close attention as theyre ringing things up if you actually want those savings. Its gotten to the point were a take pictures of the price tags for each sale item I buy.
I purchased a product from Cabela’s the end of December. They just had a policy change last week during January no long allowing returns for this product and many other purchases. Although, I purchased the product before this ruling they still will not allow me to return the merchandise. Be careful what you purchase from here. Make sure you see the new rule changes because there are several items they will not return as of now. Examples: certain calls open or not open, brass, tree stands and many other items. The manager wouldn’t even come to the front desk to talk to me about this. Poor customer service in my opinion. I will no longer buy from cabelas. They have completely changed after being purchased by Bass Pro....
I stopped in to get some help with A gun purchase. It was a Sunday morning and the crew in the Gun area were really great! Very helpful and also new their stuff. I worked with Don who is very knowledgeable. Honestly it helps I am sure that I was there during a quiet time. I would still say that the team I worked with had years of experience and found them very helpful.

You might think they are trustworthy because Cabela would never allow a scam of their customer.... think again. Read the reviews online before booking ANYTHING.
Swung in to grab some Black Rifle Coffee on my way home from work. Walked through the store to check for ammo and see what the bargain corner had to offer. While in the gun shop I asked a couple employees about a pistol and both men were rude straight off the bat. I assume they get a lot of questions about ammo but I was asking about pistol parts for my duty weapon and there were no other customers in the area. I think I will find somewhere else to get my BRCC coffee from. Cashier was super friendly!
I was looking for a 6hp outboard motor and they didnt have one. The boat center told me that Bass Pro Shop had one in stock. A phone call was made and I picked it.up the same day. The boat center didnt have to look at other store for me, but they did. Thats what you call damn good service.
Wow, wouldn’t expect this treatment from a big store like this. Went to try to buy some ammo and things for my 9mm and was lied to by the managers and co-workers. They said they didn’t have any ammo and wouldn’t be getting a truck today. My wife went in 30min later to grab some things for our son and she said everyone was lined up and buying ammo. Why would the managers lie to me? Even when they told me there was no ammo they said it in a pretty rude way. I hadn’t been in the store in 3 months and I will not be going back. So sad. I complained to Earl and he was a very nice guy and apologized. He seemed like the only guy to be a nice guy around there and knew how to treat customers. Just disappointed. I started to go all the way to Lawerceville bass pro and they had the 9mm I was looking for. They were all very helpful and the managers was smiling when he was passing out ammo tickets and seemed happy to give people tickets. What a difference. I will NEVER go back to Acworth Cabelas and I sent out a mass email and text to all my family and friends. 53 people total and told them to tell everyone about the better treatment in Lawrenceville. So now we all just shop over there!!! Way better!
Horrible customer service! Phone rings and rings and rings for over 8 minutes. Must not want my business anymore. Went to store and couldn’t find an associate that knew what they were talking about in their own dept. WOW! It’s gone down hill since being bought out. Can’t blame everything going wrong in this store on COVID.
Our first visit to this very large store. We didnt find a cooler...for less than $250...but that isnt my issue. There was nothing in place for distancing or mask requirements, But there was a big sign about checking your gun. Most people were not wearing masks in this fairly crowded store. I was not impressed!
The store was pretty clean and well stocked it seemed. We were having a hard time finding a particular item for a birthday gift, and it seems like there were no available associate to help us with the matter. We spent a good 20 minutes looking around before we found what we were looking for.
Store was clean people I dealt with were really nice. They were professional and knew what they were talking about. I bought a firearm and a scope. They were busy the day I bought it about a month ago. I was told to come back later and they would mount the scope. After several phone calls I kept being told they were to busy. I don’t live there and can’t just go when ever I want. It’s now over a week turnaround at the local shop. I will not buy from them again. They were willing to take the money but not to actually mount it. It was disappointing.
The guys in the firearms department were great!! It took a long time (over 1-1/2 hours) for my number to be called (my number was 63 and the number on the service counter was 61) but after that, the sales person (people) where great!! Thank yall for the help and guidance on my purchase then and I look forward to seeing you again soon!!
The gun department is extremely slow and doesn’t seem to have enough people working in it. I spent $1500 on 2 rifles and scopes. Then brought them back to them to mount scopes. Got there at 6:30pm on Monday and at 9:00pm I was still there and they only got one mounted. This is ridiculous. I will not buy guns here again!!
I would like to say that outdoor-oriented stores like Cabelas are among some of the most beloved places I love to shop. Unfortunately I also have to admit that aside from precious few of Cabelas departments, the customer service in their stores seems to be lacking.I recently went to buy a scope for one of my rifles and I had a fixed price range in mind for the type of scope I wanted. The store did not have any of the scopes in stock that was within the budget I was after. After waiting for over half an hour for a sales rep, the rep was obviously much more interested in getting me to apply for a store credit card than to talk about scope options with me. This became very frustrating and I finally walked away after warning the salesman of my absolute disinterest in getting another credit card.All that said, the store is a fun place to shop just to see what they have for the outdoor enthusiasts. Just dont expect decent service from the folks in firearm or firearm accessory sales.Update: Well I think I figured out why Cabelas has gone downhill a bit... I went into a Bass Pro Shop while here on vacation in Destin, Florida and the only employee that spoke with us was right at the entrance and was all about pitching the Bass Pro Shop Club which is simply their credit card program. Aside from that, we couldnt even get a good day from the cashier that checked us out. Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabelas in 2017 and now is pushing their credit services as one of the main products that they offer.
It was great. I was looking for a new pistol but because of the covid 19 restrictions I couldnt get to the gun cases because it was so crowded. And while they always have a great selection of stuff, the are really expensive. They allow dogs so I brought mine with me 😁
After two short camping excursions with Cabela’s sale of Napier 84000 SUV tent, final sale in excess of $400, found three small holes in tent flooring and immediately contacted Cabela’s customer service, or rather lack there of. After several purchases of Cabela products, incl Tahoe 550 TS, I am now fully convinced there is no customer service nor any confidence in products offered through their branded name. No option for zero stars.
This place Is a little pricey but they do have a ton of Items Including firearms, ammo, safes, hunting equipment, clothing of all sorts, and even some food and snacks. The best part Os all the stuff animals and they even have a nice sized aquarium full of beautiful big fishes. Adults and kids love this place. Employees are very extremely nice too.
If buying a boat be sure to check through it good. The production company are not putting much pride in making them. My Tracker live well lid was about to fall off , trailer bolt was about to fall out of back side board, trolling motor button for foot control wasn’t working all the time. Boat runs great so far and I truly enjoy it. But while at Cabelas’s In Acworth they told me trolling motor was fixed and it wasn’t. It took me getting upset for them to fix it at their store. I told them I just bought the boat less than a month ago and it is going to be fixed. They finally went into their store found the same trolling motor and fixed it.It seemed to me they were more worried about making a sale on that item than just fixing the problem with boat. Overall problems were fixed and I will continue to let them fix the boat so I can keep records on boat for when I decide to sell it. I will buy another boat from them but I promise there will be a 2 hour look over before I take it home.
Whats the name of this desert? Lol. Came in to pick up an ordered handgun, went to gun counter and took a number around 1pm. Number was 5 and 3 was being served. Spent the next 2hrs there waiting. The service, when I got it, was just fine. My transaction only took 15min, a plus. But seriously, 2hrs wait when the check systems were clear and fast? Ill be back again, but packing a lunch next time.Update 2021- I was back again, and service was on point and timely for my pick up order. Few extra checks in place, but cant be too safe. Still all fine friendly folks, but plenty of them around this time.
Great store and family friendly environment! They were so helpful and went out of their way to help us in the archery section. He took the time to teach each of my kids and to let them shoot. He also went above and beyond to make sure that we had all the additional resources and equipment that we might need. Very friendly, helpful, and great salesman!
This is a nice store, everything is just over priced in my opinion. Its nice to go look around but thats about it. Im a hunter I enjoy looking at there hunting clothes and guns. But they are just over priced on everything. I can look at a gun at Cabelas and I can get the same gun at my local dealer $100-$150 cheaper. Cabelas has been around awhile but they need to get their prices more affordable.
All the stuff I needed but spent 1 full hour and two trips to return a couple of products. These were items to be worked at the store and the price of the products were identical. The exchanges were only to keep track of inventory. All could have been done once if better customer support was done on the front end. Bottom line enjoy going usually but had an especially bad experience today.
By far my favorite store on earth. If I could, Id be buried in a Cabelas. The highlight of my shopping trip is seeing the absolute joy from my children when they see the fish in the giant tank, and they love all the taxidermy animals. Great prices, great people, great selection.
Went to cabelas yesterday(Sunday) to get a depth/fish finder for our boat. Nothing fancy, just wanted it for depth. After a 15 minute consultation on 3 of the different ones they ranging from 99.99 to 179.00, we wanted the 99.00 one. After we wait for the salesman to bring it up to us and take it to the counter, he leaves and I go to pay for it and it rings up 169.99. I mentioned it was the wrong one, the salesman was called back up only to tell me the 99.00 was OUT OF STOCK! He said they had none in the store. I left, went out to parking lot and looked up the item I wanted at that store and it showed in stock. I called the store and was told yes they had it there in the store! I will never shop at this location again.
We had a great experience at Cabelas, there were some minor issues with our order but a big thanks to Earnest was great. He went above to make sure that we where satisfied with our purchase and pleased with our service at Cabelas. Thank you again to Earnest in the Firearm Department.
All these people care about us taking my money for a credit card and heard guard warranty. let me be if i say no don’t ask me again several times. i was also harassed by time share for not understanding what no meant i’m not interested and creepy old men restocking the shelf’s staring at me
Awesome store, helpful employees. Only problem I have is the place suddenly turns into some snowflake safe haven when you walk in with your gun unloaded in the carrying case, then panic takes over in the employees and they jump hurdles to get a plastic tag to run down the barrel, and they escort you to the back of the store like some sort of Game of Thrones shaming, holding your gun in the air as they escort you to the back to have it worked on... like, you sell these here, it doesnt require that much panic people.
I couldve stayed there all day! They have one of everything it seems like, fantastic place to check out products no one else ever has in stock. Pictures and written descriptions only go so far sometimes you need to feel and fondle your desire ,so go to Cabelas check out the apple of your eye personally then order it online from someone else, their prices are ridiculous. Thats why they only get 4 stars.
Cabelas should either not offer curbside pickup or tell customers it will at minimum be the next day. I ordered one thing for curbside pickup and it took 8 hours for it to be ready and it was ordered before 4pm. I could have gone in and bought the item in ten mins. Mind you by the time it was ready the store was closed. So dont use curbside unless your prepared to wait till the next day or later. Edit next day: pick the item up, get home over an hour and a half from the store and the security tag was never removed. What is going on in that store! Im not going all the way back up there.
I have a very outdoor-oriented family, and we have used Cabalas to stock up on gear for our trips for a long time now!The store is lovely, and easy to navigate. It has a HUGE variety of different things for every type of outdoor activity. Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Boating, Hiking, you name it and they sell gear for it. Too add, their selection is absolutely huge! There are so many things to browse, that I promise you will find what you need!
Employees are always very helpful and ready to assist. Huge selection here and are usually doing something for the community like Mother’s Day photos or an outdoor catch-and-release fishing tank.I don’t personally agree with hunting/fishing/etc., so I don’t know much about what they have. But you can’t deny that they have a huge selection in all of there areas. They also have a wide recreational and self-defense selection here too.Great store, decent prices, aggressively helpful staff.
This is definitely a destination store! It was my first visit. My husband and I were there to return one of my Christmas gifts. Although what I needed to exchange had been sold out in the store, the Sales Associate, Todd quickly looked in the back of the store then immediately looked online to find it in the warehouse. Along with the Manager Tiffany, the two of them very professionally and kindly ordered my boots online from the warehouse, price matched to a less expensive Cabelas and free shipped it to my home. Unbelievable how smooth and uncomplicated it all went. Very, very happy and would highly recommend to anyone :)
The fly shop guy puts out major redneck from Deliverance vibes. He asked if I needed help, I said no thank you, then he proceeded to lean against the outside of his little circle kiosk and stare at me the entire time. As I walked around hed slide around the kiosk so he was always facing directly at me, always staring. They must have had problems with people stealing $0.87 flies, but Im not not sure making your customers feel like the next words out of your mouth are either gonna be you got a purdy mouth or squeal like a pig boy is the best way to do it...
The store is pretty nice and they have a good selection but the prices for most things are kind of meh, I wouldnt go here expecting to get much of a deal, especially on firearms, you will be lucky not to pay MSRP on a damaged display model. They do offer used firearms but those are all basically just MSRP as well so dont get too excited.Im knocking off one star because of two things, first they will pester you to get a credit card when you walk in the door, even if you already have one, then someone else 10 feet away will nag you to sign up for a timeshare vacation. For Gods sake, I just want to shop in peace people!The second star Im knocking off is because they, permanently so they say, closed the food court. Really? that was one of the coolest things about going to Cabelas! Fudge and cinnamon nuts at the food court! Theyve just stuffed a bunch of deer feeders and ground blinds in there and hung up tarp to hide it which is disappointing to say the least.They do have a great selection of fishing supplies, one of the best youll find, they also actually manage to get some ammo in fairly regularly, once or twice a week usually, its gone in seconds but they do get some in. To give credit where it is due regarding the firearms, while they might not be the cheapest the fact is that Cabelas will have some models in stock where everybody else has literally nothing in stock. You can also check their website to get some pretty decent deals once in a blue moon, the FFL transfer process is free and straightforward if you buy a gun on cabelas.com and have it shipped to this store for pickup.They carry a nice selection of clothing, both streetwear and camouflage, and they have plenty of other hunting/fishing/outdoor related supplies for whatever youre into, the archery section isnt stellar in my opinion but they do have more than enough to get you by.A final note goes out to those poor fish they have in the tank at the back of the store, every time I see them I just wish that someone would come and change their water for them, they need either less fish or a bigger enclosure, the one at the BassPro in Macon is much better.
Terrible customer service. went for the black powder revolvers, after driving an hour the man behind the handguns counter did not want to go into the back to retrieve the two newly ordered black powder revolvers we acquired about. lazy, disrespectful, rude, old man.won’t be back for any firearm purchase.
We enjoy going to Cabelas, they have a wide variety of outdoor activity gear and clothes. I am not an outdoorsy person, but I have bought a really nice rain coat and a shirt, they both are great. My husband enjoys several things from the fishing department, kayak section, camping gear and the clothes. It is a beautiful place to see with taxidermy through out the store.

2022-01-25I called and was on hold for 33 minutes and they just left me on hold. So was not very happy with that. Than phone hung up. Finally drove there and all was fine as usual. But the place did seem understaffed at that moment. Yet I seen many employees just standing togather talking. So why couldnt they answer the phone?

2022-03-07Horrible in store experience. Placed an online order for pickup. Assumed they had quality control on the products that arrived at their store. I was wrong. They emailed me for pickup and when I arrived(a nearly 2 hour drive one way) I found out the products were completely destroyed. The box was crushed in nearly 5 inches and had a huge hole that had been either punched or kicked in covered with clear packing tape. No packing material inside the box either. The employees were actually laughing about this openly in front of me. I went to customers service immediately for a refund which they gave me a hard time about. As if its was my fault in any way. I asked to speak with a manager who refused to speak with me. Instead another employee came and told me the manager was hiding in their office and would not come out. The employee then offered me a $20 gift card. I spent more in gas to drive there. My family and I will never spend money in any cabelas/bass pro/WWS again. Its clear that this multi billion dollar company doesnt care or respect its customers at all. I found a smaller company who not only sold me the products at a lower cost but shipped them quickly and packaged EXTREMELY well. Shout out to Dances sporting goods. You guys are great!

2022-02-15Exit 277 on I-75 North. Easy on and off, great place to do some shopping and take a break. The store is always well stocked and staff is friendly and helpful. They have lots of fishing and boating supplies as well as hiking and camping. The 277 exit has several choices to eat at and fuel as well.

Even the customers I would stand next too were pleasant to jaw with about this or that gun.For the love of all that is holy please pay attention to the instructions and scan that QR code and input your name (digitally taking a #). 2022-04-16Kids and I love coming to Cabela’s! Obviously for the kids the main attraction is the fish tank. Huge plus on the Easter Bunny and Santa attractions. Cabelas is generally stocked with ammo and anything else you might need for your everyday essentials. Not a fan of the vacation folks near the check out. I don’t like being rude but those folks don’t take no for an answer. It’s the only part I don’t like about coming to Cabelas.

2022-03-14Love going to Cabelas. It was way better before bass Pro bought them out. Back then they had a real bargain cave and layaway on guns. Now I just walk around and look.
