Best car wash service outside the Perimeter for all of us far-out suburban folks. Both locations in JC and Hamilton Mill provide 100% professional, on-time, quality service. Ive used both locations since opening. I recently got a ceramic coating at the JC location on my new car (2019 AMG GT C - pics at QT in front of car wash) and it was done beautifully by Eric (awesome team member who is pro at the coating process) - his service was excellent and he was touching up the car and cleaning it using the air hose up until I was ready to drive away. Dustin, the manager at the JC location, is also two thumbs up. He understands your needs, makes the process hassle-free, is very informative, and prices fairly. Overall, great team and services at the car wash.
I really wanted to like this place, but left disappointed in the quality of the wash. I got the Gold package that included wiping the doors, dash, and seats, as well as vacuuming the interior. You can see in my pictures that they did not do a good job. They must be spraying directly onto the dash instead of on the towel because there are spray marks everywhere. They left regular dirt on the seats that I was able to wipe off with a baby wipe and no elbow grease whatsoever. And the floors look like they were only haphazardly vacuumed. The package was also supposed to include air freshener but I don’t smell it all. The exterior was ok. I wish I could get my money back.
Super friendly professional staff—Caleb and Maddox are terrific! They offer high end and routine services. I purchased their best ceramic protection over a year ago and use them for routine care every week. The other clientele seem equally happy. Their hours are fantastic and they tend to be open even on rainy days!!
I dont really care about my minivan being clean, but my wife does. It has been a few years since the last time it was properly cleaned, so it was DIRTY!I brought my minivan to California Hand Wash and they cleaned it inside and out. They made it look almost new. The price was reasonable. $150. I felt is was well worth it. They also had a nice waiting room.
After two long car trips to Tennessee and Florida my car was covered in bugs and needed to be vacuumed. I had the basic service - hand wash with vacuuming and windows and mirrors. There were a couple bug marks left on the windshield I had to remove myself. But overall this was a great service, great facility and was done super fast. I recommend you try this place and I will go back again. Glad I found it!
I came in here earlier today to get our company’s catering car detailed, and from the beginning i got there everyone was so welcoming and helpful. the waiting area was so nice, with snacks, drinks, comfortable seating, and enjoyable music. the detailing only took about 2 hours which was very quick compared to what i thought it would be, the crew made this car look like it was brand new. please do yourself and your car a favor and come visit this place!
I stopped by for car wash today and the person who received me said my car has bad stains so for today use the regular $35 car wash but can’t promise if it will be cleaned completely and to come back n get a total wax option cleaning. I believed him and went ahead with regular wash.After i picked up my car and came home, the front of the car looked clean but top of the car was not even cleaned an inch. I used a wet cloth n tried and it came off pretty easily. If the front can be cleaned then why wasn’t the top of the car cleaned? Stains weren’t as bad as the person told me, I could clean it with a wet wipe. This means these guys just clean only the places you can see. Absolutely disappointed with the service.
Just got a membership here and let me tell you switching from a automatic car wash to a hand wash came with some doubts but without a doubt it was probably the best decision because not only do they make your car look clean and brand new but they also are able to persevere the original shine and gloss of the car as if it were just driven off the lot I have had a few encounters with some of the employee’s such as Cam, Ken, Chandler, and many more and they have have given me top tier service and without a question one of the best customer service 10/10 definitely recommend
I called it “The Clean Getaway” what a great place to visit, amazing staff, clean comfortable environment inside and out, and free coffee, popcorn USB hookup and workspace to boot… Oh and let’s not forget they do an amazing job presenting a very clean vehicle! Management is always who you see first and last, Caleb the GM always accommodating, and validating that you are extremely pleased with your vehicle and experience… Seems to interact with every customer that visits - he’s everywhere… Duncan and Ryan are the operators they make it happen from the time you arrive asking you if there are any special requests to the end asking as they inspect your vehicle if it is to your satisfaction! The guys in the wash tunnel even stop turn around and wave at you through the window while they’re washing your car I’m a car buff I drive an expensive automobile and tend to be very particular. The car wash club the way to go! Bring your car as many times as you want they’re never tired to see you. To sum it up - what a great place. This is not your typical car wash. When I leave there I feel satisfied and hoping for rain just so I can go back!
The best car wash hands down. From the time you get to the line and are greeted by enthusiastic employees to the fantastic waiting area and the staff who make the experience effortless. My wife could make out the absence of scratches which we took as normal from an automatic car wash.While you are at it checkout their detailing bay. Will want you to treat your car to it.You get what you pay and this car wash truly symbolizes that.
Exceptional experience all the way around. From the moment when Cam greeted me with a friendly smile and asked me if I needed anything specific focused on. First time here at California hand wash and I have to say I’m very impressed with not only with the speed of the service but also the quality. From the moment I arrived the customer service was excellent and the person who creates the tickets for the car wash was very informative on the washing services there. Another thing id like to comment on is the interior lounge area, I’d have to say that I love the concept and interior design. With resting areas that have charging cables and snacks my time waiting went by in a flash. It was also cool to see other high end vehicles that were being displayed in the detailing rooms. The cars being worked on there really have a great shine to them! Shout out to the all the employees I interacted with such as the Enrique who cleaned my car when I pointed out a spot that needed further attention and the pretty African American girl who worked the counter inside. Quality service that I’ll be recommending to all my friends and colleagues in the near future. Give your employees a free lunch to celebrate what you’ve created in John’s creek !
I wanted my new car, a Volkswagen Beatle to be protected from Georgias weather, sun, rain, pollen, etc. California Hand Wash put a ceramic coat on my vehicle. Amazing work, kind and knowledgeable staff. Washing a car by hand instead of harsh brushes other car washes have. They cleaned the interior of my car which was a surprise to me when I picked up the vehicle. Reasonably priced and overall amazing experience.
Great customer service. I had a soft-top sports car waxed by CHW - the paint looked flawless, but after drying, the soft top appeared blotchy. I brought it back the following day and the general manager and the detail shop manager both cheerfully said they would address the issue. After working on it for about 30 minutes, the soft top appeared almost new. CHW has detailed three other vehicles for me over the past couple years and each time I was very satisfied with the results. Though their services are at the upper end of the spectrum, their quality work and customer service justify those prices. Highly recommend California Hand Wash for those who are particular about their vehicle’s appearance.
I paid $100 for complete service and conditioning my leather seats. The guy that did the seats did a great job. However the wash and interior was not good. I had to point out that my grill was still full of bugs and dirt , none of the door jams had been wiped or the inside doors. Mirrors on the side spotty and dirty and I just noticed my dash is still covered in dust. So inside was quickly wiped. I do better myself at Tidal wave. Sorry but not worth the $100 I just paid.
Sarah is very personable and professional. She always has a smile when I come in to get my car washed. She is very conscious about her work and goes out her way to please the customer. Great employee and a company that provides great service. I recommend California Handwash over any other car wash in the Suwanee and Johns Creek area.
Wow! These guys are top notch! My brand new white Tesla was covered with orange specks. I think it’s called rail dust? Either way, they were fair with the pricing and I felt like I could trust their team with my car. I opted for the clay bar & polish. When I got my car back it looked even better than when I drove it off the lot! Also, 5 Stars to the detailers for cleaning my sunroof without leaving any streaks!
Great experience. We needed to have our car cleaned prior to placing it up for sale. By the time they finished cleaning inside and out (including the carpets), the 10 year old vehicle looked brand new. Ryan and Dustin were very friendly and helpful.
I love my cars! (Also, my wife and children). Finally , I have found folks who are as profession, caring and meticulous as me. Their business is an experience in excellence. Pricing on subscription is much lower than value of their device.
They provide many services which is a bonus but, for this type of establishment I expect them to be more detailed. I pay a second tier monthly membership but my car isn’t always completely clean. Soap stains are often left on the outside, the inside of my car should be better vacuumed, door panels are never wiped, windows are left dirty and the creases of the seats are left with debris.
My first experience was not as expected, I did call to let them know this and they asked me to return to make it right. I did go back and they really wanted to make things right and did an awesome job on my truck. Best wash I have ever had anywhere.
I took my 2021 Cadillac Escalade for ceramic coating & Caleb & his team did wonderful job! I am so happy with the end result & they have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend California Hand Wash for any detailing needs.

This is hands down the best place to get a car wash! No brushes are used and your car is hand dried and inspected before giving it back to you. When I’ve had interior detailing I’ve been pleased with the results. Staff are friendly, too!

Ok I wasn’t ready. I’ve never thought I’d be a fan of a carwash but hands down this is the best place. Food and drinks and whole dang experience.
I started going to this business in 2020 and immediately I was pleased with their services. I have lived in five different states - 3 in the South and 2 in the Midwest and I have never encountered the professionalism and the quality of service as I have with this business. I recently took my car for services - I got the California Dream Detail. I could not believe how awesome the car looks. I have told many of my friends and I truly hope they listen and they also follow in my footsteps to use the services of CHW. In addition, I got the headlight polishing - these guys know what they are doing. I am no longer a resident of Johns Creek, but I am not too far away, which means I will continue my membership with CHW - it is worth the commute. Thank you CHW and continue the awesome services.

I had a full service clay bar, polish, interior done. I was unsatisfied with it initially. I got a call from a manager Caleb, who offered me a full paint correction for free. They more than made up for a less than ideal first job. Every business will not produce 100% perfect results every time but a willingness to make it perfect with no questions asked is…. Just something you don’t see anymore. Thank you guys.
California Hand Wash is the best car wash located near the Suwanee Johns Creek area. They are highly professional and knowledgeable and have a keen eye for detail. The team shows great care in customer satisfaction and has great deals. Shout out to Dustin for giving us great care and excellent deals.Before my most recent detailing services, there were many minor scratches around the car that you could see when then sunlight strikes the vehicle. I decided to do the paint recondition service, which got all the scratches and shallow chips buffed out. The car looks like the first day I got it!
This place performs miracles. I paid for a simple exterior and interior wash and they took years of damage and wear completed by my children and made my car look brand new. Well worth the money spent.
Wow! From the moment I arrived I was blown away by the customer service I received. I was in and out in 20 minutes with a top notch full service hand wash car wash. This was the best car wash I have ever been too!
For $50, it’d be ok. But I paid $200, waited 4 hours, and they still left a lot of dust and pollen and didn’t wipe down the inside storage dash. I could tell the wipers weren’t even lifted. Friendly staff and nice facilities though.

Paid $160 for full interior detailing today , they did not even clean/wipe the area under hand break . I could still see the dust and pet hair between front seat and center console . I look like they just did some vacuuming and wiped the door panelsUpdate:Took the car back to the car wash and spoke with Manager Dustin. They re-did the detailing and cleaned everything well this time. Manager spoke nice in solving the problem and provided us with a gift vocher for another detailing.
This is the best place to get your car washed and look brand new. Caleb the manager is a class act and takes care of your car like it’s his own. If your car needs some tlc this is the place.
I am a regular customer/member for both of my family’s cars. Almost always satisfied on the first try. And anything that may have been missed is addressed immediately by the end-line managers. People like Mr. Kenan, who was very professional and explained the color correction which i want to purchase for my S4 in the near future. Mr Kenan also turned out to be a true Star Wars fan and we are now friends on Instagram. Just because he took the extra minute to have a conversation with a client that he didn’t know was a regular. That’s how the employees roll here. Super Cool Staff.

Nice people but really sloppy work - had to request them to dry the car and wipe the dirt off the panels. Interior looks barely touched. Do not recommend spending your money here
This is my favorite car wash in my area. The staff is very friendly and while you wait they have plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. My car is spotless every time i go.

The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. They do a great job cleaning up your car and they have snacks while you wait.
One of the worst experiences. They did not even touch my 3rd and and 2nd row in my minivan because the seats were folded. I asked them why they didn’t do it and their reply was that they have 10 mins to do the service so they do nothing extra. I got the inside and outside full service. Furthermore, they didn’t even take all the trash out. Highly not recommended!
Caleb and his crew are great. I go once a week while taking advantage of our monthly membership. It is actually one of the highlights of my week.

I just traveled 2300 miles and my car was in desperate need of TLC. This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. They are in an upscale part of town they pay attention to every little detail. The inside waiting areas are spacious and cater to a busy persons needs. I can see my reflection in the floor! Everyone knows that cleanliness is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to leaving these reviews. This place passed with flying colors. I would like to note that masks are not required in the waiting area however there is sanitizer on the desk. Friendly staff that act as though they are genuinely enjoy their job. I love that! I got the next to highest level membership so my baby can have her weekly wash while im here

They did a good job, but for a 100 bucks plus tip I was expecting a great job. Missed a lot of spots. Windows still had fingerprints on it. Interior doors needed a quick wipe down. Vents left untouched. I shouldnt have to ask for a towel to get the brake dust off my rims after being handed my keys. Look for a hundred bucks I wasnt expecting a showroom quality detail but I also didnt think Id need do the job again when I got home.
Pulled in to have my sons car washed who was home from school during vacation. Back seat filled with dog hair with white paint on the front fender where the car (red) was hit while parked in the student lot. The manager/owner inspected the car and assigned it to the bay for special care. The finished product was outstanding! No evidence of paint on the front fender or dog hair in the vehicle. Even better, since I was a member on another vehicle there was no additional charge for buffing off the paint. I had received a substantial quote from a repair shop. Great place, and even better people!

I hate to write this review but I feel its necessary.As a long-time customer of almost 2 years, I have to say my recent visit this past Sunday (1/23) and Monday (1/24) were very disappointing.I would like to point out that customer service is excellent here. The staff are very friendly and personable which makes the experience great. However that is where the positives end for me personally.The wash quality itself, however, is very disappointing. They have recently raised their prices by about $10 (not too sure if its the same across the board) so now a Dream+ wash, which is my go-to wash, is now sitting at $60. The upside, however, is that instead of having to choose between the interior cream and the exterior spray wax, both are automatically included in the wash. So while an increase, to me personally the prices are the same since I always get both options regardless. The problem is that the quality and attention to detail in these washes have considerably gotten worse over the years I have been coming here. I have 3 cars here and all 3 have the same issues; attention to detail in the washes. Front bumpers, rear bumpers, side mirrors, wheels and even fenders would have areas that are untouched. Not only that, their interior wipedown I guess consists of rapidly just having a towel over a surface and not getting anything in the process?At 3 cars, I am shelling about $200 (with tips) for what is essentially an express wash that is comparable with a machine wash quality. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Besides the quality of the washes, the wait-time of the washes themselves are crazy. Youre looking at about 30 minutes to an hour of wait.They offer a membership which offer unlimited washes depending on how often youd like to visit. In my experience, I have been a member for all three cars and have found that gradually, the attention to detail have decreased and they were getting sloppy. As a result, I have decided to just drop the membership and go with a non-member wash. So Im not really sure if its because Im not a member anymore and therefore its marked so they dont really care about the quality of the washes themselves but in my experience, there is barely a time difference of waiting between being a member vs a non-member.I know their model is to grab as many people to sign up for membership as possible but this is simply not attractive if the service produced is subpar at best. The staff is nice and will allow you to rewash the car but who has the time to repeatedly come and have something re-done when youre paying $180 for all three cars?I wont be back unfortunately.

I’m very picky on who I let detail my car . I seen that this place details high end cars so I felt comfortable. I must say Adrian did a phenomenal job on my SS Camaro .I left at 11 while he was working on my car and came back around 4 and he was still taking his time working on it. He treated my car as if it was his. Which I really appreciated it . He def won a returning customer . Great work
This place is great! I bought a monthly membership because I’m hooked. I go twice a week sometimes since I basically live out of my car because of my job. Every time I’m there the employees are extremely helpful, nice, and go out of their way to make sure I have a good experience. They have a free snack section along with a place to work from my computer.
My daughter swims at Swim Atlanta and I noticed a carwash across the street, California Hand Wash. I stopped by about 6 months ago to get a standard carwash and I fell in love on my first visit.I drive a Tesla, so I was looking for a touchless carwash to ensure that my autopilot cameras aren’t damaged. That was my initial reason for visiting this carwash. I’ll admit that I’m pretty particular about most things, but this carwash exceeded all of my expectations. They have the friendliest staff, Cameron and Joe are always there to take care of your specific car care needs with a smile. Now, the inside of the carwash, aesthetically speaking, is easily the nicest carwash I’ve ever seen. It has a beverage station, a snack station, workstations equipped with outlets and separate meeting rooms. There is even an outdoor lounging area. After my first experience, I signed up for a membership! It’s been 6 months and I’m still loving it!
This is by far the best car wash place in and around Suwanee. I have passed it several times but thought it might be an expensive place. We reached out to them to get ceramic coating for our car. Their scheduling, service, price, staff friendliness, waiting area, timeliness were all perfect. They did a really awesome job on the car wash and coating that we went back and got our other car to get it washed. This was less than a month ago but we have already been back to them already. They are about 10 miles from us and we now pass few other nearby locations to take our cars there!

I just wanted to share my experience and confess that I actually got my car cleaned/detailed for the first time at California Hand Wash last week. I have been meaning to write this review ever since as it is still on the top of my mind for their outstanding service. This group is amazing, especially one individual in particular by the name of Sathvik. I was absolutely blown away by his attention to detail and hard work! I definitely recommend this business and will be back the next time!

I decided to stop by because they are a hand wash and I didn’t want my previous ceramic coated vehicle to get any swirls or damage. I spoke with a very mature young man named Daniel. He made sure they would use a clean mitt, and my vehicle came out amazing! I highly recommend this car wash if you are in the area.
If there was such thing as a high end chick-FIL-A of car washes this would be it. Omg I looove taking my car here. The staff is so nice they work so hard and my car is ALWAYS SPOTLESS!! I am VERY particular about my car and trust these guys ever time. I bought the monthly membership and it’s ridiculously worth the money for unlimited monthly details. Everything is really clean. I’m always in and out of there quickly and there are really nice refreshments. This place is sooo well done!! And I am getting them to do a ceramic coating on my car. All the cars I see getting it look sooo good!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
I have always been skeptical of car washes.. I love to wash my own car to know it is being taken care of and will not get scratched. A few weeks ago a friend surprised me with a wash from here. To keep it quick, I was very impressed. I have taken it back twice a week since then and not had so much as a dirt mark after leaving. The prices are reasonable considering the great service and amazing staff.
Make sure you get what you paid for. There is a lot of miscommunication and if people up front in the lobby area are new make sure they’re charge for what you want your car to have. If you do something wrong, the least you can do is apologize for the horrible experience you put your customers through. Also it seems to me that person who takes the order outside has always been the same person. Make sure the person gets the correct order as well so at the end you don’t look like you don’t know what you’re asking for. I’ve come to this place for almost a year and either their administration has changed or they don’t aim for the same service. I give it two stars because their job is impeccable.
This car wash is really bad and does not take care of your car. If you complain about the cleaning they did they just ignored your complaints and moved on. Would never go back to this place again.
The customer service at California Hand Wash is top notch! The front desk attendant Sarah, does a great job always making sure the members have whatever they need! The quality of the car wash is phenomenal, and the ceramic coating they did on my Audi S4 is great! Overall they offer a great experience!
The service here is phenomenal. The manager Enrique is always welcoming and kind. I always look forward to the beverage and snack bar when coming in. Great snack and drink options. Highly recommend making California Hand wash your go to car wash. Well worth the membership :)
I have been a member of the Unlimited Wash Club for 3 weeks now and one of the many things I can say about this establishment is that I really love this place. I am greeted with smiles and respect every time. Dustin, the General Manager was courteous and made sure I was happy with my membership thus far. Chandler was very informative about ceramic coating on my aftermarket wheels on my car. I will most definitely be coming back to get that service done to my vehicle. No matter how many times I have been here, I always feel super excited about seeing my clean car when I walk out the door.
Wow! What an experience! From the moment I pulled up to the minute I left I was blown away by the customer service. Not to mention it was the best car wash ever!
Went there few times and not anymore. many times service personnel were rude. Found a better one nearby.On the last visit there was some misunderstanding when the person who accepted the car outside may have provided wrong information, instead of explaining it inside, they were condescending.
I decided to give it a try to this place, so I drove 30 mn since the package of 160 looks really good for the price, well, pictures dont lie, no detail, no seat cleaning, no carpet cleaning(wasnt even wet), 30 mn wait for a package that include seat, carpet, etc etc?, for 160 I just got the regular 50 bucks California detail car wash and it wasnt even that good, I have had better work for 40 or 50 bucks in other places, really disappointed.UPDATE:Got a reply from I guess the owner of this place to call and ask for Dustin to see what he can do to make thinks right, Dustin was to busy and he was gonna call me back, a week later never got a call so thats tell me there is no professionalism in this place
I noticed a long ugly scratch on my car this morning (not sure when it happened). Brought it in to California Hand Wash and showed it to Chandler. He took care of it and you can’t even tell it was ever there. Awesome job Chandler and California Hand Wash. Thank you.
A very well run place, with staff that is Chick-fil-A level of friendly and attentive. While you wait you can pull up to the long table with your laptop to keep your productivity going. Oh... and theres free coffee!
First time customer, so I got their carwash and interior service. I opted for the more expensive option because i drive a higher end car with ceramic coating on my car. The person who come and welcome guest and ask them what they need, was a little vague about the difference services. I wanted the more expensive indoor wash and service because I did NOT want my car to go through the tunnel hand wash.They did not wash and detail my car inside the indoor as I opted and paid for or was told so.The wash was decent I can still see bug spots in some areas in the front number and still dripping wet spots on some areas as it wasn’t dried propertly. My interior was not done very clean, when I got inside my car there was big wet spots on my drive seat and it soaked my pants also.My thoughts is this car wash is an average car wash and is not worth the premium price. I feel it is a little over price for the type of service you get.And it was 1 hour for the service.The facility is nice and they do have refreshments and snacks for people who wait.
We have had multiple cars detailed, washed, waxed and even ceramic coated by the people at California Hand Wash and they exceed our expectations every time! They do such a great job whether you are getting a detail service or just a car wash. The cars come out looking great. We had one car that had an issue with the windshield and Ryan researched what to do and after trying 2 or 3 things fixed the windshield completely. I would highly recommend this business.
Always the best experience. The General Manager Kevin is Awesome. He made sure that my Audi Q7 was detailed beautifully. His team treated my car with celebrity status. I will continue to travel to California hand wash in Hamilton Mill because they are the BEST!!!!
My friends up in Maryland and NY love for me to send pics of this amazing car wash. I love the attention to detail from the coffee bar to the outdoor patio waiting area. The greeters and cashiers are always smiling and helpful. Finally, they do a great job making my Telluride look and smell like it just came off the lot!I went once and was hooked! You will be, too. Sign up for the monthly service and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere while they remove the dog paw prints and kids’ fallen fries.
I had a fabulous experience and excepptional customer service. These folks work hard and do an amazing job! This is the only place I would use in the Atlanta area.

They have recently done both my cars. The cars looked great when they were done. They are not cheap but they do great work!
We had the best experience at California Hand Wash in John’s Creek. We brought in our 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. We had a full detail and the ceramic coating done. The car looks brand new! The staff was great to work with. They did exactly what they said and the car was completed on time. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bring life back to their car!!
If you love your car and want best car wash then this is the place to go. Did I mention its hand wash which helps with no marks left on the paint from automatic car washes. Great place to hang out while you wait for your car and very nice folks.
2 hour wait. I had to ask if my car was ready. I go outside to get it and the tires had so many dull spots like they had just quickly sprayed them. The side view mirror was half wiped and half water spots. It didn’t have an odor nor did it smell good. The carpet probably wasn’t even shampooed like I asked and only vacuumed. All that for $100?!Never again! I guess they only take care of their members. I’ll stick with the $20 car wash places.
The staff are super friendly, and the waiting area is spacious and clean. As far as staff goes, the hiring manager should get a raise, as it was truly a great experience while the service was being performed. After having a nightmare at my last place where it took 2 hours for a wash, I was pleasantly surprised with how quick my car was returned as well.I didn’t like the quality of my gold wash though. I still had some bits of debris in my car that the vacuum didn’t pick up, they missed a big spot on my bumper (I realized after I left that a large indent/groove on my car was filled with dirt and pollen), and my windows did not get a great wash as I still had pollen on the bottom afterwords. It also stopped smelling clean within 1 minute of leaving.Maybe if I payed for a more premium service it would have been up to my satisfaction, but you would think $35 + tip is enough money to get a great service, especially since I said not to go into my trunk, leaving more time for the other parts of the car. I know they offer memberships to bring the price down, but I wasn’t incentivized by my first experience to go back.
This was my first visit and will definitely be back. Great deal for unlimited hand wash in a month so a real deal if you wash your carat least 3 times per month. Two washes will pay for the monthly membership.

My first time here I got to speak with two of the GM’s while they were out engaging with customers. They helped me tailor my services to the exact needs of my car and were very friendly and patient, even though it was extremely busy. When my car was done, it smelled more fresh and clean than when I bought it! I will definitely be coming back for future services. The customer service was great, and the service itself was excellent!
I would recommend California hand wash to any of my friends or loved ones! They care about their customers and value good quality work. My car has never been cleaner! Their prices are fair for the awesome job they do!!
I’d usually give this place 5 stars but after getting my car serviced today I have a nice black smudge on my seat. I didn’t realize this until I pulled off. Be sure to inspect your car before you drive off.

Matt, AJ, and the Team are always at the top of their game and have by far the best service out there. I trust the CHW team with baby.
I appreciate the quality of work provided by this organization. The people that work there seem to take pride in their work each time I have gotten my car washed -- usually the California Dream service. Today, I was even more impressed with how Chris and his associate went out of their way to remove some tar that had gotten on my car. Im glad that this business is in our community.
Swung by California Handwash to check out the pricing, to find that it was more than I had expected (compared to my usual $6-7 wash). Before I could leave, I was met by Dustin, the manager, who was happy to accommodate me and offered a great service.This is probably the best wash in the area in terms of offering comprehensive service, quality, and prioritizing the longevity of one’s paint/clear-coat as it is done by hand with superior products. Ceramic services are also available. Cost will obviously be more, however if you want top notch service for your valued vehicle, give Dustin and California Handwash a visit.
I had detailing done on my son’s car. They were honest with me about what really needed to be done for a possible trade-in, which would mean less money for them because they said to do nothing. I appreciated their honesty. But I elected to get the detailing done, because I just couldn’t stand the way it looked. :). Shout out to Gilberto for a great job!!
I just came back to the California Hand Carwash for I was a past member post pandemic. My car was in and out within less than ten minutes. Yeah, seems unbelievable when most of the time it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get in and out. Have to keep in mind it is a full hand carwash service plus interior. Well, when I was called over the speaker that my car was ready I was surprised. When I saw the car I saw it was clean but normal clean not the wax and polish appeal that I am use to.I addressed the issue there with staff in which they justified. I let it go and kept it moving. Driving on my way back to work I noticed my dash board was dusty which made me look around my interior to see dust on my screen, liquid drops on my center console, seats, and when I stopped door jams. This let me know that I was give the rush treatment and that my car was not taken care of as advertised and paid for ( Dream Package). I called back in the beginning when I noticed the dustiness while driving but when I finally stop and looked at my enter car. My calls have not been answered since. This has laid me to this review and I am still placing call and getting no answers.

This place will make sure they get it right. Ialso had a cup call that they accidently broke and they didnt fight me on paying to replace it. Dustin the manager fixed it right away. I had the California gold detail done on my car and they did absolutely amazing. The inside and outside of my car looked brand new as well as the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Especially with helping pick the correct detail for my car. This place is absolutely amazing I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone about it.
I’ve had a membership with California Hand Wash for over 2 years now. The quality of service, professionalism, and atmosphere is still beyond phenomenal. Every family member that’s visited out of state and had the opportunity to stop by California hand wash with my family and I have been extremely impressed. Again not just with the quality of work and service but the snacks too.
They do a great job every time and are extremely courteous. I highly recommend for people who have had bad experiences at other car washes. Love this place.
All I saw was luxury vehicles that weren’t dirty to begin with and only was getting polished, my vehicle is a work truck and was in need of being CLEANED, not polished. I paid for their premium package, despite them having the availability to detail my truck (Toyota Tacoma). Their was still basic dirt and gunk on the outside of my truck, windows were still dirty, they hadn’t even bothered with cleaning my mirrors or vinyl. I’m horribly disgusted by the service (or lack thereof) and the amount I paid for it. Not to mention, when they said my vehicle was ready they didn’t even have all my mats inside and I needed to track it down. All in all, they are fortunate I’m unable to leave less than a 1 star review.
First time taking my car here - JC location. I took their Clay n Seal product. I didnt hang around since they told me it would take some time as expected. When I received my vehicle, I ran my hands around the paint and noticed areas that felt grainy - not smooth like it should be after the clay bar process when applied correctly. The young lad got his supervisor who gave me an explanation that I kind of went along with, but still had doubts.Long story short, I took my car home and then returned right back. This time, I ran into the General Manager - Dustin. He stopped what he was doing and took a look at my vehicle and noticed the same. He applied the clay bar over the areas and it was smooth as new. Dustin took time to explain the different grades of clay and how it works. He definitely knows his stuff and knows customer service.For the price point, I had high expectations and not have to point out problem areas. However, sometimes that happens. I do intend to return with my other vehicles. Thank you Dustin for making it right.
Took my car here 3 times to get washed and wasn’t really satisfied with the quality of the wash on either occasion. For what they charge to wash a car, I expect the exterior and interior to be cleaner than it would be if I were to clean it myself.However, after they finished there were several very notable missed spots on the exterior, interior, and wheels that I had to point out to the guy who tells you “your car is ready”.If you have a luxury car with very little dirt or marks on already your car, you’ll probably like this place because it’s “touch less” but if you have a regular car such as a Honda, Toyota, etc. with bird poop on it, bugs on the windshield, and dirt on your wheels... I’d take it somewhere else because they aren’t going to do a good job cleaning it to be honest with you.
I drive farther to get my car washed here. They do a great job!
Extremely professional and very good quality service. I would highly recommend these guys and the interior building where you wait while your car is being washed is very nice and updated with plenty of space to hang out socially distanced. Chess, free snacks, large table with handy plugs to get some work done on a laptop if needed. Very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful I appreciate the time that they took to ensure my experience was top notch, and my car looks great. Thanks guys!

Every single employee exudes professionalism and speaks with such knowledge about their industry and is overly kind and patient, especially with my limited knowledge of knowing anything about cars! No matter what condition or how dirty my car is when I pull up, they can ALWAYS perform a miracle and make it appear as if to have just driven off the car lot! Very happy. I pulled in and they were closed because of weather. Chandler met me outside and I showed him a scratch that had just been put onto my car. He was very helpful and told me he could get it out for me and would only take a few minutes. He was able to remove the scratch and you couldnt even tell it was there in the first place. Very professional and didnt take long at all. Will definitely be back.

Best car wash/water spot and scratch removal experience that Ive ever had. Two black cars with both now look like they did new, literally. The manager, Dustin Cameron, is extremely knowledgeable, has many options for you, the answers about which one is best and why—with no pressure. Do yourself (and your car) a favor and let CHW and Dustin handle the problem.

I love this Car Wash!! My daughter said the first time we went are you sure this is a car wash?!!! Lol. She charged her phone while eating free snacks and she also said it was the cleanest bathroom ever. So I took my wife and her car she loved it too. Very friendly staff. Very informative and helpful. I must pass no fewer than 20 car washes and detail shops on my way to California Hand Wash. It’s 12 miles away from where I live, but well worth the trip made!Everyone on the management staff from Matt, Dustin and Ryan can always be seen on-site attentive to the needs of customers and QC’ing every car. Even the cashier/receptionist Brea is tuned in to the clients and is as friendly as can be offering refreshments and snacks.And let’s talk about the facility, it’s top notch and makes waiting for your car as pleasurable as can be. The team pays very close attention to detail (no pun intended) and it’s no wonder you’ll see all sorts of cars there from exotics to the family Ford getting washed, detailed or ceramic coated.I had the “California Love” full detail treatment done to my classic 1989 Mercedes-Benz along with all the a-la-carte extra services...it needed it, all of it! Even though I thought the before-and-after results were amazing, the next time I took the car in, Dustin remembered the car and took it upon himself to make additional improvements. I cannot be more thankful for his pursuit for perfection and will continue to return and refer people to California Hand Wash.
It was my first time there and at first the worker was helpful and informative. Explained to me the differences in packages and the process as a customer. I was told someone would come with me and essentially inspect the work, but I was just handed the keys. No biggie. But once I drove off, I noticed there was still trash/debris in the car, there were soap/water marks still left on the driver window, exterior still had noticeable dirt, and didnt even clean some of the interior areas (door cup holders).Im a bit surprised as the online reviews are great and even had a personal recommendation for this place. Maybe it was because it was towards the end of business hours but I expected a better job.They have complimentary beverages (I did not partake) so thats nice tho.
I visited their new location on Hamilton Mill, I was highly impressed the first time. So I went ahead and agreed to their membership trial, after that, every time I took my truck in they did an awful job. Most of its employees are teenagers, who lack an attention to detail. So just about every time I went there, I had to ask the kids to clean spots they missed. Anyway, needless to say, the last time I took it there a pair of Ray Bans was stolen from my vehicle. Yes, I know I shouldve taken them out, but having two little ones to manage was enough to forget about the sunglasses. Will not be back nor would recommend, the idea is there but they really have to get it together.
I had my car washed today. They did a good job. Afterwards, I noticed a few marks on my hood. I took it back and Chandler was very helpful. We couldnt figure what it was, but Chandler got the scratches out quickly. Ill be going back to have another service done at Chandlers recommendation to keep my paint looking new on my Colvo.
This car wash has been great considering the customer service and the plans the provide. Chandler has done an exceptional job in detailing and removing the scratches. If you need something special done see Chandler otherwise all others will take-care of you!!!!

Ive been a member here for a couple of years and have always been very pleased with the level of service I receive, and today was no exception. I stopped by to talk to someone about some scuff marks I recently got on my vehicle and wasnt sure what to do about them. Kevin took a look at them and said he could take care of them for me on the spot. In a matter of minutes, they were gone and you couldnt even see where they had been. He also did it free of charge! Thank you Kevin!!

This place is amazing. I have been coming for months now with a membership. They always have amazing people like Cameron who goes over their sells and making sure my car is taken care of. I will keep coming back here for the server/people.
I waited over an hour for seat cleaning which was not terrible for a Saturday. The seats look okay they weren’t bad to begin with it’s a 2021 vehicle. The rest of the car looks terrible the outside still has bugs on the bumper dirt around the wheel wells etc.
I began coming to the Johns Creek location back in November 2020 and signed up for the Gold Unlimited membership as soon my trial ended due to how good of a job they did in comparison to the many other car washes in the Gwinnett area.But as months went on, the lack of thoroughness began to gradually decline to the point where a quarter of my interior is neglected on every visit. Light scuff marks on the seats, residue in the cup holders, and floor mats left un-wiped along with blades of grass left un-vacuumed to mention a few.I’m not sure what changed between then and now, but it’s a bit disappointing. The quality of work was what set them apart from the others. Now I question why I go out of the way to drive from Suwanee when I could just go up the street to get a subpar job done there.The amenities are great, but at the end of the day I go there for an above-average car wash. Not popcorn and comfortable seating.

This place is absolutely amazing! A milkshake spilled in my jeep and got the cloth seat all sticky and gross. They were able to give me a price on cleaning just the one seat (rather than all seats) and the rest of the area where it spilled. I was in a bad mood because I really didn’t want to go and have this done but WOW. They blew me away! My seat has NEVER looked this clean since I got my jeep! It also smells amazing now! I’ve gotten a regular interior/exterior wash from them once prior to this and was also very pleased. Would 100% come here again. Their attention to detail and customer service is superb. Highly recommend!
This John Creek location is amazing! Great group of guys that have Ceramic coated five of my vehicles over the last year. They guys go above and beyond every time.
Not worth the price they charging . Paid 45 for the total car wash on my Camaro SS and car still had dirt marks on the lower front and back fenders by the tires. There should be no reason why I have to personally still clean the car after paying good money for a wash. They Lack attention to detail. Much rather wash it myself .
Amazing service. Great employees. I did not want to run my car though an automated wash because they scratch the surface Everything is done by hand and with great car. They service my F250, my wifes pilot and my Caddilac CTSV. So if I trust them with my Caddy, trust me, you can trust them too.
This is a amazing business I love coming here everyone is extremely friendly. The do amazing work and always make my car look brand new. The manager Chandler helped me remove some scratches from car and did a great job.
We had our Jaguar detailed at California Hand Wash this week. A great experience and excellent service overall. From discussing the different options, the customer service attitude by everyone to the incredible job they did, they left me as a happy customer. The car is squeaky clean, the paint shines in the sun and the leather seats look better than when I purchase the car new.

Horrible service and customer service. Went once and when I got home I noticed molding from my windshield came out. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back. They were having a special on their memberships so I asked if I can have two cars on the family membership. (Me and my daughters car; which I pay for both.) The high schooler working there said yes just bring your daughters car in to add it. I came in the next day and was told by the Manager thats not allowed. And the same high schooler was working again but I didnt want to out her so I just kept my mouth shut. I (thought) I cancelled my membership but I was charged two more times. I called the manager and was told he would call me back but I never heard from him. So I called back 4 hours later and was told (not by him) that he would look into it by the end of the day. And again I never heard from him. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Do NOT come to any of these locations.
Today was my first visit to this car wash. Upon arriving Dustin assisted me with all my questions and explained all the services. I entered the facility and was helped by a young lady at the front desk to pay and answer any other questions i may have. When my car was ready, she gave me a tour of the facilty and walked me out to my car!!!! Its very hard nowadays to find outstanding customer service and this place has it all!! They did an amazing job on my car, great detail and i will definitely be back, as long as im in johns creek i wont go anywhere else!!! Thank you so much for the hospitality, see u next week!!!

They did a very good job of removing very bad stains from my car seats. I took the gold package for interiors. The car was touch free and that helps in not getting swirl marks on the paint. There is a very steady stream of customers on Saturday morning. Mostly high end cars. For the price they charge. A little attention to detail would have helped. It would only take another 10 minutes to get things perfect as there was still some dirt and debris in the corners and edges in the interior and the exterior that they should have taken care of. They do not operate on rainy days, so thats another thing to note.
First time customer and the Staff/Dustin was great! I have ALWAYS had my SUV hand washed they listen/cozy atmosphere. Please open a location in Buford i drove 24miles to your location. Ill be back soon!
The owner Matt and his team are absolutely some of the best in the business. I wish I could give them 10 stars! They truly have an eye for detail and go well above and beyond. I truly appreciate the high level of service and the extensive time and quality they take to make sure my vehicle always looks its best! This is truly one of the best car wash services in Forsyth Country. Highly recommended!

It’s hard to find a “good” car wash in the area - let alone a “great” one. California Handwash (just behind QT on 141) is definitely the best I’ve seen. Old school, the way I would describe this place.Had a small issue with one of the side panels with a ceramic coating instead of just addressing the one fender they took care of the whole car. No attitude no complaints wanted to make it right, you just dont get that anymore these days. Thank you to the manager for the great service and the friendly staff.

Very disappointed with my car wash yesterday. Not entirely from the wash itself, but more so the lack of masks worn by staff while they shout 6 inches from my face inside the window of my car. So sad to see small businesses not taking action to protect their customers, especially with the recent surge in GA. All employees had no masks or masks around their chin, and no mask requirement inside.Aside from just the masks, the interior detailing of my car was poor. Immediately after getting in I was removing hair, dust, marks that were missed. For a $45 wash plus tip, you expect more. Would not recommend, especially during this time....please keep your customers safe!
This place is great! I pulled in at closing while raining. I had to get my interior cleaned before I took a road trip and the manager Dustin made sure to take care of me. Cool place and good people!
I am the member of California hand wash. Today I went came to wash my car. I know it is busy today but what happened is Water wash has been completed and Car parked in a place to clean the car more than 20mins. I was near car sitting on bench. I was watching there was another car behind my car they were cleaning that car. After sometime i just went to near my car and standing near my car and looking for some to ask if then can clean my since it was in a cleaning please more than 20mins. But, all of the sudden on guy ( his name is : Jenni ) came to me and asked what are you looking for. I said same reason as above then he could have asked me to wait few more mins. But the way he talked it was rude he just said if you don’t have patience He said me to leave from there without cleaning. Then i said I am the member of this car wash. Then again he was rude and said He can cancel my membership and leave that place without cleaning . I was paying from 5months this membership. But there was no respect. I just went inside and canceled my member. And I don’t want to recommend any one to go to this place. When there is no respect no need to go this kind of place. California Hand Car wash in Jhons Creek is the vehicle wash. I recall when I first day I strolled in it seemed like I was strolling extremely high extravagance. The nature of leather seats, painting,hand made floor mats, extravagant lights, and most significant restroom I mean you simply feel great strolling in there. My undisputed top choice insentive they have is the children live with blackboards, and the café with popcorn, beverages, pretzels, and skittles. My children appreciate and I appreciate these advantages. The most amazing aspect they are free! I have been I a part for a year. Whats more, folks it merits each penny. I for one got my old vehicle detail cleaning before I sold it. My vehicle was so spotless and looked shiny new the dealership offered more cash than what I was requesting. Went to this new overpriced car wash I had been using for 15+ years when it was executive car wash without an issue… I used to spend every weekend here lovely family owned business who take care of people. Well it was sold and appears has gone down hill. I came to them because my 12 week old puppy had thrown up in my vehicle during my trip back from Charleston…. It’s literally just dog kibble stuck in between the passenger seat and door….. They proceeded to tell me they would not be able to clean it nor my car because of COVID…. This isn’t March 2020 this is June 2021. I wouldn’t have minded paying more I just find it comical that someone not wearing a mask less than two feet from me is telling me that dog kibble prevents them from doing their job… So much for trying to support this small business SMH…
They didnt seem to do a great job, I noticed several spots on the outside around the mirrors and doors that werent clean. Also, this could just be highly coincidental but right after they were done, I turned on the car and a check fuel cap message came on. I figured it just got wet or something, but a couple weeks later, the message persists and the cabin now smells of gas, and the mechanic cant figure out the problem.
Absolutely love California Hand Wash. From the friendly staff to the very comfortable waiting area to the great free snacks! They do a great job detailing my vehicle and I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend their membership. If you get your vehicle detailed twice a month it more than pays for your membership. I go a couple of times a week and always have a clean car!!!
Definitely knew my car needed extra extra love.......kept on blaming myself of a keeping a busy career and rely on the automation (I mean, sometimes we have chosen to live on a very fast lane thanks to the technology?) However, its also a good practice to reminisce about how we used to do things old-fashioned and manual...I stopped by the shop for the consultation before my service and my car looks like a new one out of the factory!! Cant say this car looks no more than 3 years old. Even getting off the sticker residues very clean!!!...I am more than extremely satisfied with their service mindset which you dont often get these days and will be back soon for the ceramic coating and monthly membership. Thanks a bunch! Lets keep shinning, guys until 300,000 miles. Thumbs Up!!!!

We absolutely love coming to this car wash! They really understand customer service because they go above and beyond. Rob who is the one who greets you when you drop the car is exceptional!!! He’s always so friendly. I’m seriously blown away by his attention to detail and overall care for us! He gets what it’s like to be a crazed parent with two kids in car seats!! I happened to mention my 4 year old lost the wheel to his favorite car and he literally took the car seats out for me and blew them out and went into every corner of the car and found it!!! My son was over the moon to say the least! The fact that he understood the importance and took the time to blow out the mystery crumbs in the car seat just continues to impress me and I think every family should consider being a member here!!
Value just wasn’t there for me. Exterior is fine, but the interior was obviously a rush job. I would have gone back to get it redone, but I’m not in the business of going through the hassle of telling people how to do their job. It should have been done right the first time. Especially for something as simple as wiping down seats.
I went to California handwash because its close to my work. It was a pretty good experience initially. Sara at the front desk is phenomenal, very professional! I got the Interior and exterior of my car washed. Once I left I noticed that the windows in the back were smudged and streaked, called the carwash back and of course Sara said told me to bring the car back. I wasnt able to bring it back that day so I brought it back the following Monday. This time when I got my car back it appeared that a button was broken that controls my hazzard lights, there is conflicting information in reference to if it was broken prior to me bringing it there. The problem I have is how the situation was handled. Mr Dustin Cameron initially acted so concerned about the issue -gave me his card and personal cell- flash forward I called the office several times, left vm on his cell and a text message to no avail. I even went back to the cashwash 3 times. Today I went there and was basically told that the piece was broken prior to bringing my car there in a matter of fact tone. I was asked to leave the premises or the police would be called. I just wanted some genuine customer service. They sent the owners out to talk to me and they were very condescending and insulting. Its sad that customer service is dead these days. The owner actually said how was the manager unprofessional AFTER I showed him all the calls, text and vm I left without a response or an acknowledgment! I will gladly take my business elsewhere!! I wouldnt recommend this place if you want accountability and customer service!!
Wow. I had no idea this kind of car wash existed. The staff is very helpful! They take excellent care of your car, extremely detailed work. Free drinks, popcorn and pretzels, a place to work and charge your phone.You can get a membership for a flat monthly fee with unlimited washes.Completely brushless, hand dry, good job on the interior
Needed to have the interior cleaned on my odyssey. Chandler did a great job from start to finish. Everyone was personable and friendly. Was happy to discover this place near me and will be visiting again soon.

2022-03-11This is the place to go . I bring all my vehicles to this location. Its amazing how the line of cars dont stop coming in at this place. The wait is never long and they do an amazing job. They pay attention to every detail.This time I brought in one of my big trucks to get a full detail . Maddix to care of me from start to finish. His team is the best . These guys know what there doing and are always polite. I have been to there other location as well . I cant wait to where they grow next. Hopefully in Cherokee. Until then I will make the trip . 2022-01-03I have been coming to California Hand Wash for a couple of years now and they WOW me every time. I had some overspray on my vehicle in which Dustin and Gilberto assisted with the clay bar treatment and polishing. I was highly impressed with the results and they both were very professional and knowledgeable on what services would be good for my vehicle. They are fast and provide excellent customer service. I would truly recommend them for any vehicle services they have to offer!

I was greeted by the manager Ryan who was very friendly and committed to providing excellent customer service and explained all of their services and options. The waiting area is super cute and provides customers with coffee, candy, popcorn and more. I will definitely come back to get my car washed as they did an excellent job on my car. 2022-03-30For the Monthly Subscription, absolutely worth it if you constantly see yourself washing your car for hours, they get it done within 20-40 minutes while you have the pleasure of watching the process. But in all honesty it just depends on who is working on it, there was an incident where someone took the pressure washer and activated it right next to the logo of the Ford mustang it just completely peeled the plastic piece off.

2021-12-29My wife has been a member for 3 years and actually signed me up. Quality has diminished every since. Owners seem to be some nice guys but the staff could care less. Prep guys sprayed chemicals all over my wheels after I just told him they had been freshly polished. Destroyed my finish! Of course I was upset set after paying $60 for wash and vacuum plus $10 tip.

2022-06-16The ABSOLUTE BEST car wash in the area. They do an amazing job on your vehicle……they wash your can by hand….no beater bars or high pressure water to mess up your car. AND their plans are unlimited so you can go as many times per month as you like. Their waiting room is huge, beautifully decorated, and has many areas to hang out. They also give free snacks and drinks. Best car wash I’ve ever been to!!!

2022-05-05Kenan did a great job on the ceramic coating of my truck; it looks brand new everyday instead of just for the day after washing. I will be back for all my cars. Had him do my bike as well. The whole team at Hamilton Mill CHW is great!
