The wait time was extremely long. So many of their customers were driving off. The food was good I think there werent giving the right portions I go to captain Ds often so I know what should come on meal from the menu and I didnt get that at all. They were short staffed according to the sign so I didnt complain. The lady at the drive through was nice though I would go back.
Normally very good customer service. But today 05/08/21, I waited in line about an hour for 3 cheesecakes. Once I realized just how long I was waiting for something so simple, I decided to call the store and see if I could get out of line and get my order quicker in side. They turned their phone off. So I got out of line, and attempted to go inside only to see that they closed the inside at 8 pm..the time was 8:01 . Frustrating for workers to just watch and not assist because I could have been a customer with a messed up order and they wouldn’t have had a way to have known. Hire more staff.
Traveling through the area, stopped to have a bite. Never been here at location. The front cashier, Arkisha, was very helpful with our order decisions. Was thorough with each item and nice. A NUMBER ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE! She was very helpful to gentlemen behind us as while . He seemed hard of hearing and she spoke to him and explained his order too! 😃👍🏻
6/02/21 Purchased the family meal with Green Beans and I’m not sure if it was because the water wasn’t working( posted on door), but they appeared to be either overcooked or reheated because the meat inside was burnt, did not taste freshly cooked and had no flavor at all. Did not receive my hush puppies and the wait was extremely long until people started leaving. I usually have a good experience with them, but today something was off. Food lukewarm also.
I ordered the catfish feast with 3 sides. Only got 2 small pieces was missing 1 of the sides. Had to wait for one more small catfish and 1 side. Got home there was no hush puppies with any of the orders. On other order had half cooked fries and cold. Needless what a two weeks difference. Wont be visiting this Capt Ds for quite a while.
Went through the drive thru..Waited 5 minutes once reaching menu board,was asked to hold on a minute and they would take my order.Paid for order $32.00 and then was asked to pull forward and park.Waited at least 30 minutes for our food to be brought to car..Two Dinners and a drink.Food didnt seem fresh and was served a plain bake potato when I ordered a loaded potato..Then to add to it no butter or sour cream.. Washington Rd store really needs attention..I recommend Wrightsboro Rd or Deans Bridge.. Employees are a lot nicer also..and food is on point.
Captain Ds is always a place I enjoy eating at. They consistently have hot fresh tasting food. I ordered the seafood supreme dinner which consist of fish, chicken, and shrimp. I honestly did not eat the food right away because I wasnt quite hungry all the way. I ate it 3 hours later and didnt warm it up. It was still delicious and I ate all of it.
Captain Ds has good fast food seafood. There was about 10 - 15 min wait from the time we placed our order to receiving our food. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Great Customer service, the twin sisters working that night were very nice and professional. I will most definitely return and I have been going there for years. To the owner. I think you misread my review. My service was great.
Went in for some Friday fish, a southern custom of sorts, to get a bite to eat! They employees were courteous as always, greeting you when you come in and my order was taken promptly. Asked if I need any sauces and such, making sure that my order was right before I left as they always do.The only issue I have is with the portion size! I got the catfish 2 piece and the size of the filets were on the small side. They were hot though (I like mine fried...sue me!) and so were the hush puppies and the green beans and rice!Good experience and worth a visit!
Service was great, staff was friendly, food was piping hot, delicious and was actual seafood - not that disgusting ground and reshaped fish that gets sold at some places. Waiting time a bit longer than other fast food joints but at least the food isnt held for 12 hours in a warmer then slapped on your tray. They showed me the tray and made sure it was what I ordered and if I had any issues with it - which I had none. Recommend trying.
Great Food & Great Service! I went to my car to get something & Anthony made sure I didnt leave my food by bringing it to me. He was very nice & polite...Excellent Customer Service! Fish is Good but why they only give you a half a spoon of Mac and cheese for a side, so small a toddler wouldnt be fulfilled! Beating customers out of side orders, and this is my third time, and to get a bigger size side order, you have to pay for the family dinner thats $23 when I just need a few more spoon full of Mac and cheese for my single dinner.. Smh
Ordered food for me and my mom, along with drinks. Said it was to dine in, they had it to go. Asked for both orders of fish to be soft cooked, my mom cant eat hard stuff at her age and I like soft fish too. Both fish were still hard, and greasy. Then asked for lemon in both large teas. No lemon. Then upon eating food, found fries were too hard. Asked staff for replacement(the same one who entered my dine in order to go), they had a look of attitude but the nice manager replaced them. I would recommend the Captain Ds on Deans bridge road, better service and food. This one stay away from.
Very SLOW service, very slow 20 to 30 minutes for two peoples food to be ready. We happen to be the only car in the drive through when we placed our order. They forgot items we ordered and the speaker in the drive through needs a stick of dynamite. Will not be going back to this one on Wrightsboro Rd in Augusta, GA
Excellent food and wonderful service had to leave work because of a health issue and so I met my mother and nephew here and got something to eat it was such a good day because I was having such a rough morning. Keep up the awesome work I wish fish places would have equally delicious fries so us American yanks can experience some good fish n chips)
Food was hot and tasty! Staff were friendly and helpful; Visited dining area regularly, kept drinks filled and customers satisfied. Very neat and clean, even with a roof leak in the dining area (which they monitored and isolated from customers). I visit often, and am never disappointed.
Service was extremely slow on this night with 3 cars in front of me. We all waited patiently. Maybe they were short handed but I was in drive thru. I have to give it a lower readying because I used to work at Captain Ds and weve worked short handed plenty of times. But we head day and night managers that were bomb and pumped us up through it the day. This location needs more training to keep up with traffic no matter the staff. Pace yourself and cook as many orders as you can attend. Dont drop one order at a time... Once I got to the window they were still gathering my order. The police officer in duty stopped the cashier from my making my drinks momentarily because he decides to walk back there and make himself a drink. Lol hilarious right. Then she makes my drinks. She stays nice and calm the whole time. I got my food and pulled off. Thank God for patience because all I could was just observe. Being watched by your customer, every move you make to ensure their order. Damages the business when simple training skills could be just taught. Hold your teams accountable.
My meal is always good when coming here. But for some reason on this particular day, I see that it sometimes matter which store you go to to get your food. My only complaint this night was that my lobster roll had very little meat on it. It was as if they decided to take a scoop out.
I love Captain Ds Lawd knows I do! But YALL TAKE FOREVER!! Customer service is very important to me and to be made to wait in line for over 30 freaking minutes and then to be confronted by a sour faced looking drive thru cashier was VERY disappointing and made the situation even worse. I was already hangry and she made it worse. The food was good and hot but it just took FOREVER to get it. I used to work at another seafood fast food restaurant and we would always be prepared for those rush hours at lunch and at dinner times. Maybe this is something you need to work on. Your cashiers need to be taught how to greet the customer and be a little more friendly especially when the customer has been waiting half an hour to get their food. Hopefully five stars on my next visit.
The staff were unorganized and stumbling over each other. One person has no idea on how to refill the condiments dispenser... Tarter sauce went all over the floor. The person didnt even mop it up. They put one of those caution signs over the mess. The clothes of the workers were dirty (male). I wasnt offered my drink until I had to ask for it. When I did receive the food on the plate some of it (okra) was more prevalent on the tray than on the plate. Sloppy. The fish was delicious, though.
The staff is rude. The wait is SUPER long... ie. 45 mins plus. If this location had a better team of staff members it would be okay. Ive been twice in two weeks thinking maybe, just maybe, they were having a bad night. That wasnt the case. One team member by the name of Eboni was actually telling customers not to order because they didnt want to add more orders to their list of already waiting orders. I do NOT and will NOT recommend this specific establishment to anyone. They need to fire the entire staff and start over if they want to stay open.
Service was bad. They gave me the wrong side item and wanted the box back. I didnt want to give them the box back because I didnt see the point just give me the correct side item that is good customer service. I even showed them what they gave me and yet still made a big deal about it. Customer service is going down the drain lately. I rather cook at home to be mistreated.
Food was poorly prepared. Ordered grilled salmon and rice with two side orders. Side orders consisted of corn on the cob and a baked potato also ordered a side order of shrimp. The rice was very cold and the shrimp was undercooked. The salmon was very dry and barely warm. The person that took my order was very polite and professional. I was totally disappointed with the quality of the food
3 cars waiting to order. Extremely slow service; waited 45 mins to get to the window. The girl took my debit card immediately and was out of site too long; it made me very uncomfortable. Also her very large purse was open on the opposite counter. Just a unsettling experience.
When are they going to fix the drive thru microphone so people can hear the person working? I spent more time trying too order my food than anything else. Constantly ..can you speak louder I cant hear you. Should I just go to a different Captain Ds or stop going the restaurant all together, if this is the amount of concern the give to their customers.
We arrived outside of their busy times, and ordered the fish and chicken. The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful for the price.We only recieved part of our meal at first, we ate informed the chicken was still cooking do we only recieved a gal portion of chicken. However the rest arrived quickly, and they were nice enough to give us a full portion instead of just the half portion for our wait.The real treat of our visit was Lavetta (spelling?), a cheerful employee who checked in us, and served us throughout our meal. She seemed genuinely concerned for our well being, and happily obliged our requests.All in all, the visit was wonderful, and because of that, we will be visiting much more often in the future
The food here is cold and nasty. My son and I ordered fish and fries here. The fries were cold and old the fish was cold and under cooked. My 15 year old son felt sick after eating a little bit of the food..We both ended up just throwing the food away. I will never go to this location again.We normally go to the Gordon hwy location where the food is cooked to order and everything is fresh and well done. I went to wrightboro rd location that night cause it was closer to my house and I didnt feel like driving to the Gordon hwy location. Hugh mistake that I made going to this location just to save a little driving time. I wish I could rate this place a zero
CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!! Don’t know why this place is still in business. Second time here now, Had to wait over 10 mins to order and 15-18mins for our food, that’s not very fast food...All that waiting for plain under done fried fish!!! They pretty much rushed through it and cared more about the drive through than people who took the time to come in and we planned on feasting. Never again!!!
The lady at the drive through window her name is Julia,she is truly a God send.I love that lady to pieces. The customer service I observed was very impressive especially considering there were so many customers in the drive thru and dining in. The staff maintained their composure, apologized for the long wait and tried to accommodate everyones needs. The food was fresh and they tried to make sure the dining facility was clean.
Theyre usually slow and one day I caught an employee coming inside (From smoking) and she went right behind the counter and didnt wash her hands. I told another employee and the girl who didnt wash her hands asked, who said that? I responded: I Did. Then she said Im not touching food. I responded Not Yet, but regardless youre suppose to wash your hands, youre working around food. She then, rolled her eyes and washed her hands because there was a lobby full of people that heard our conversation. Better tighten up because you never know whos watching and I always do when buying food from Anywhere!!!
I was in drive thru today on 7/24/19 around 7:30. The cashier was fixing customer a tea with lemons, and I saw he/she stick her long nails in the customer cup, pushing the lemons down with her fingers, and gave it to her. Looks like a woman, but believe it was a man, with long nails, and blond hair. DISGUSTING!! I wont be going back there.
Went to this particualr location through the drive thur and the intercom does not work, the employees are rude and service is very slow. I have never had to wait 1 hour in line after paying for my order thur drive thru. This place needs to get it together with better service or they will be closed for bussiness and I will never be going back to this place ever again.
Whoever owns this restaurant,or responsible for human relations,you have really got to do something different....today I went to captain d,s on wrightsboro Rd I was in the drive thru for at least 25 minutes,and that being modest,there was 2 cars in front of me and when I got my order the car immediately in front of me was ask to pull up and was still in line,the time before that my wife and I went inside and it was the same results ....its bad!!

2022-06-02I ordered through the drive-thru. The staff was very friendly and nice. Their attitudes were great. They didnt act like they were unhappy or owed anything for doing their job. The order was correct and food was great. I recommend this place to all fish and shrimp lovers.

2021-04-29Everything was very tasty and hot, I had the lobster and crab platter and everything tasted great! The staff at this location is really friendly especially Jonathan Butler! He went out of his way to be accommodating to ALL of the customers. Be patient with them as they are really understaffed but was still able to get everyone taken care of very quickly!

2022-01-26I ordered a online order. It was late and once I got on the road it was and opened my plate the rice was hard on my salmon dinner. I called them for refund. the manager puts me on hold and never returns. So I called 20 times and they screened my calls. So I called from a different number, they pick up and tell me I was never on hold and yells at me. She says I was yelling but Im in a car on the road I can barely hear and my voice was raised so she could hear me because she said she couldnt. I just want my money back at this point and never return I yelped and now this google review this store this is the worst one in this area.

2019-11-17I ordered the 3 piece fish dinner with Frys and Cole slaw. It took them 25 minutes to get it out to me, and the frys were missing. I waited 20 more minutes for them, but never got them.The help stood around talking, or gazing vacantly into space. Wont be going back to Captain Ds anytime soon.

2021-12-13I visit Captain Ds once a week. The food is always good. The last time I went the floor was wet and slippery. Older customers were finding it difficult to get in and out. We helped a elderly woman out so she would not fall. A law suit waiting to happen.
