Had the worst service at this location. Last night I ordered the family feast. There was hair in my coleslaw, and the fish was not fully cooked. I then tried to get a refund, and nobody can help. Ive only been told to contact corporate. Thats $25 down the drain it looks like. This is the worst customer service ever!! Note to self, dont go anytime near closing time, and they seem to close at 8pm now.
They are not deaf ppl friendly. They still do not allow ppl in .. only drive thru.I stood out side to lt the know I cant hear the teller machine and I had an order for 4 ppl.They made me go around anyways..Not drive thru window.. not walk in... they actually made me go to the teller machine.Once there.. it was the hardest most embarrassing moment..with cars trying to rush me. But I havent got a clue what was said.All I could do is read the notes of what to order slowly.. 1 order at a time and read what was typed. I can tell the speaker was annoyed and angry.10 minutes went by which felt like 5 hours. And if they read this post.. they know exactly who I am..Everyone knows.. u cannot expect to communicate with deaf or hard of hearing person on an outside teller machine. Its impossible. Needs to fire em all.Outcome is..They got annoyed and angry. Yelling thru machine telling me to go around to window. I handed the notes to them. They got the order completed in 2 minutes. And I was well on my way.Number of cars was behind me listening and left because of how they treated. Had a car pull up.. told me that they have a deaf daughter and will not go back there again..Bad experience, embarrassing, stressful, and confused. This happened February 4th ,2022 around 2pm. Spent $60 on 4 meals..Never did finish the order cuz of difficulty.. order was only completed when I pulled around to give em note. Couldve saved 30 minutes of trouble.0 stars
So their hours of operation says open until 10pm..so tell me why at 9:29pm they are supposedly close. Lights on, board lit up, staff inside and so I asked and with the nastiest attitude she replied We close...whoever runs this franchise is the WORSE....and why does ugly people have to be so dam rude!
Horrible experience here. They messed up our order and when I tried to go in and get it corrected they had the doors locked. I had to walk around to the drive thru window. Customer service is horrible and it seems they have immature kids or just prolonged adolescent adults working here.
Usually this is my go to captain Ds but my last visit was awful i specifically asked for a large ice water but they gave me no ice. I tried to give them the BOTD and say maybe they didnt have any, but then i shake my sisters cup and she has ice in hers. I grew annoyed but still said brushed it off and prepared to eat. I ordered a 3 piece dinner and a 4 piece dinner these people only gave me 4 little tartar sauces on top of me having fries and extra hushpuppies as sides on these two dinners. So my sister went in and asked for more sauce once we finally got to eat my first piece of fish tasted fishy so i drop that piece and try another this one was fine and the rest of my food was fine but the service, that fishy fish, and them not putting ice in my cup.... this is why I eat at home.
The place was filthy. The girl that took our order had on a halter top shirt with her belly showing not to mention a belly ring on. We didnt know we couldnt dine in. The cashier got a real nasty attitude and said you all can not dine in....I apologize and said we didnt know. She said well I telling you now cant dine in..The roof was leaking water the food was cold and old. The bathroom smelled like murder had been committed in there.It needs to be closed down and remodeled. I dont recommend anyone to eat there. Poor customer service cold food nasty restuarant.
Sunday 9/5/21 Approx. 6pmPros: They were open! I drove here from the Stockbridge store, as they were closed. The lady at the window was pleasant and service was fast.Cons: The food was horrible. Burnt & dry fish, dry hushpuppies, dry rice, rubbery broccoli. The only thing that was good was the cole slaw. Im guessing it was a slow day & the food had sat for a while. So, buyer beware if theres no one in line!
The crew seemed to not care about speed of service, common courtesy, or basic customer service. I waited in a very slow drive through line for over half an hour, only to have an employee walk out while I was pulling up to give my order, start laughing and said sorry, you just missed it baby, were closed. It 8 oclock, we arent taking any more orders. Please drive off.
This is the sorries location in Georgia everytime they give you what they want you to have how i order 2 15 shrimp dinners they give me 1 they ask what sauce I want I say tartar sauce and malt vinegar they give me cocktail sauce and hot sauce I spent 54 and when I went to get my 15 shrimp dinner they forgot to give me I was treatrd like I was trying to get free food never again
Everytime I come here they are saying they close at 8pm when they close at 10pm. How do y’all manage to have the dining area open the WHOLE pandemic and close it when everything else around y’all is open and back to normal. I understand being understaffed, but what does that have to do with not having the dining area open for to go orders like before?
Customer service was terrible. We were greeted with a dry order when youre ready in the drive thru. The young lady didnt even offer condiments or thank us after giving us our food. It doesnt matter how late it is in the day or how tired you may be, employees should always greet customers with a warm welcome and a smile!
The food was pretty good, yet what concerned me is the lack of sanitation. None of the employees wore gloves, masks, and just a lack of concern. I almost changed my mind. This was one of the only places other than BK, that are unsanitary. I will not be returning anytime soon.Update to the reponse- NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WORE GLOVES OR MASKS!
The fact that I came at 8:30pm and they said they have already had taken there last order closing 30min early??? Ive never really had any issues with this store but lately it might as well not be open...closing at random times or not opening at all its like they dont gaf...smh
The employees where very pleasant and helpful. The food was really good and cooked just right. A customer came in with a bad attitude and cussing and threating the cook. The cook maintained his composer and continued to cook a great meal for me and others. Thanks to the crew
Stopped there today quick bite to eat drive through window fish and chips and a Dr Pepper, good fish as always,and quick courteous service, right on a major 4 lane hwy.and not from interstate I ---285, located in shopping plaza so theres plenty of parking.Plus plenty of other amenities you might need in all directions things to know when your out traveling.
I like this Captain Ds better than the one closest to my house, which is in Riverdale, Ga. But, I think the cooks should have had on their masks whole cooking and serving up platters, and the lady who served me should have had her waist long hair up or netted since she opens the food before bagging. There used to be a Puerto Rican lady who was wonderful about 2 or 3 months back.
Been a customer of this location for going on to years. I dont eat here often but the food is normally fresh. This review is for them messing up my order not once but twice. The second was the redo. I called the first time and the manager told me to return. Upon returning a few days later the manager I spoke with took my order and yet again didnt get it right. Lost a customer in me.
Waited for fresh food both young ladies working the front were the best customer Ive had in a while. I couldnt leave without telling the manager who suggested I call the owner or general manager. Well I left him a voicemail that Id like to discuss my visit. He has yet to make any attempts to call me I guess he assumes that it might be negative. Very sad to think that is why Ive received no follow up.
I am very disappointed in this restaurant. You would think after the 20 minute wait my food would have been fresh. But that was to much to wish for. I order popcorn shrimp that tasted a day old. Every thing was cold except for the extra hard fish. Mac and cheese cold. Okra, cold and soft
Every time I visit here I am disappointed with my decision. I keep hoping that the next visit will be better. Either the restaurant is out of everything I want, the employees dont understand what Im saying or the wait is extremely long. If Im going through a drive through, I shouldnt have to wait 20 minutes to make it to the window for my food. Definitely not a place to go if you want a quick meal.
When we first approached the building it look nice from the one side, because the windows were very clean on the outside no trash littering the outside. But upon approaching the building from the other side, into the entrance, all the glass was very dirty with handprints all on it like it hadnt been cleaned in a week. As we went in the checkout area, it seemed fairly clean, but we noticed when looking in the expediting window, we saw the cooks. There were two ladies that were prepping food in the window that had hair hanging all over the place. My husband and I commented to each other, that they should have hair nets on because her hair is all over the place and every time they move their hair swung. After placing our order we approached the dining room area that looked pretty bad. Not the worse Ive seen, but not good. There were a couple of tables that were clean but for the most part the floor needed sweeping and many tables needed cleaning. We found a table, sat down, waited on our food, and as the cashier brought us our food, we begin to try the fries and they were both old and cold. As my husband took our fries back up to the cashier so that they can cook us fresh fries, I began to open the fish sandwiches that we ordered, and as I opened it I noticed that the fish had been precooked the fish was not fresh. Before I could wrap them back up to take up to the front counter, I noticed a roach crawling on the table. There was a young lady that worked there that happened to pass by at the same moment and I showed her the roach crawling, she commented oh no and she walked back behind the counter and began expediting food. My husband and I were done at this time! We went straight up to the front and ask for refund and we will never come to this location ever again! We dont live in this area so we were visiting for the first time...NEVER AGAIN!!!
I ordered the platter x2 and did not get what I ordered. Took back to counter and instead of fixing my order cancelled and would not refund up to 5 days. And couldnt explain why they were going to charge me an additional $10. Since Im from out of town they dont have to worry about me coming back.
Each time Im here, the staff is always in a good mood-busy, slow or a bit behind, always friendly, kind, helpful. Tonight was no different. Food is always good, things are always right, or they go beyond the call of customer service to make it right. Ive read reviews speaking of poor service for perceived racial issues. I flatly contest this. Im white, and I NEVER feel less than welcomed, taken care of and happy any time Ive been here. I recommend this location if you are in the area and youre hungry.
This location is usually ok but on this visit I ordered fish tenders but I thought I was ordering extra pieces of fish. When I got the food, the manager didnt show (I dont remember if she didnt show me any of the food or just didnt show the fish tenders) I believe she didnt show me any of it but anyway when I asked about extra fish she pointed to this small container which I knew was too small for fish. I opened it up and asked what is this and thats when I was told it was fish tenders what I ordered. (Long story shortened here) The manager tried to play my intelligence and told me to read the sign and I read it to her twice and nowhere did the sign state tenders, then she says you can tell by the picture!! Really!!! She ended up giving me 1 piece of regular fish instead which I dont believe equaled the price I paid but I took it! Im an auditor, I can read very well thank you!
☆☆☆Update May 5, 2021☆☆This restaurant has been completely remodeled and added a drive-thru. We dined in, ordered the Family fish meal. OMG it was superb fresh hot fish, well seasoned green beans, crispy hot hush puppies, fresh crispy cole slaw and extra cracklings. Service was fast and friendly. Can not wait to visit again soon!!!!!
The first thing I indicated was that I had a coupon on hand and then ordered! when I went to pay! They didnt discount my discount! I claimed the cashier and got annoyed! He told me why I didnt tell him and I answered him. It was the first thing I told you and more that I told you up to the amount of discount I have and you did not pay attention and told me that I could not fix the price because the order was already finished !! After a few seconds he returned to my annoying and grocer that I was going to fix the price and muttering he said stupid and closed the window of the car servi .. name is mercedes I think so but it was just right now at 6:10 pm January / 4 / 2020 the black woman who is serving the car service
Visited this Captain Ds on 6/22/18, and I order the 4 pc fish meal to go. The wait time was less than five minutes which was great, but when i got home with my meal and set down to eat, my fish was not hot. I live only 5 minutes away, so it should have been piping hot by the time i got home. Instead i got warm fish that was not good and too hard to eat. A waste of my time and money.
My husband and I stopped at this location after driving 8hrs for Grilled Salmon and was toltally disappointed. We were told the grill was closed, at 9:25pm. This is the first time in the 20 years Ive patronized Captain Ds and was told the grilled was closed. Poor customer service and food quality. Management and staff need to retrain on food quality and customer service.
I dont know if the fish was freshly fried or old. It was so hard I could not enjoy It. I sent it back for some more. The second was okay. The French fries were cold . My husband baked potato was cold too. We go to Captain Ds every Friday. This was a first at this location and the last.
Third time I have tried this restaurant. First 2 times my order was completely wrong and it took 30 minutes only to get it wrong again. Spoke with the manager and explained that the exact same thing happened on my last visit. He promised to get it right. Which he did after a total of over 40 minutes inside the store. I was starving today and decided to stop again. Ordered a catfish meal. The catfish was raw. Im done with this place.
Order#143 was was late due to them putting order#144 on our order as well as well as messed up because we ordered extra shrimp with the two feast trays not oysters! Seeing that everyone after us had been waited on and there was a tray sitting in the back we asked them about #143. No mam that was #144 even after showing them our ticket. They called #144 again but no one else was waiting there. Finally a cashier opened the boxes and saw that it natched our order except for the extra shrimp and gave it to us- COLD and messed up. The manager who had be stepping back and forth from the back talking with the cashiers opened the door on her way out while telling us to have a nice day but did not off some much as an apology. Needless to say we didnt have time to sit and eat cold food because it was time to go back to work. How they stay in business WE will never no!
My husband and I went on Friday,it was getting super crowded,we said we wanted our fish cooked extra crispy,just then the cook complained over the counterDog, Everybody want Fish, They usually serve with a nasty attitude,...which in some places where quality matter and they value customer service... theyd be on suspension or fired, but it seems like theyre allowed to show their true colors with no consequences.. Totally unacceptable!! The fish was soggy where you could taste the batter , when I told that stubborn lady to cook my fish longer so I wouldnt have that disconnect with the fish and the batter...I will speak to someone in authority,they need to be exposed!!!!#ghettoserviceAnd if the owner wants to speak on this post,then you should address the ones who had horrible experiences instead of looking for compliments!!!
If I could rate this location a minus zero I would....I placed my order asked for fresh rice and make sure lemon pepper was on the fish ...but surely to know I got hard rice and little to no lemon pepper...so I had to order extra rice just to make a whole meal .....the the manager (Mercedes)standing there say just give her some lemon pepper on the side ....not what I paid $15 for to fix my own food ......customer service the sucks
The fish was burnt. They was so busy playing and talking they forgot the hospital sh puppies out of all 4 orders and the okraout of 3 orders. I called and talked to Ashley the manager and she said she would replace the whole order. I told her I would not be back until the weekend. I went back and they refused to replace the order. I wasted 36.02 ony orders and it was not worth it. Captain Ds has gotten to be like long John silvers. Would never go back to either one of themThank youCarol Arellano
Every one in this restaurant is rude , and have nasty attitudes from the cashiers to the cooks .I asked for extra condiments the lady threw my food box in the bag , and huffed and puffed while getting my condiments . Then I watched one of the cooks slammed a lady food when a customer asked for lobster instead of shrimp while another cashier laughed as she does this .Sidenote : No one forces you the have a job , customer service is key to any job . If you don’t like your job quit please , there are people willing to take your place
I have bought in that place many times and they never give the complete meal the workers are despicable today I went and they did not give me shrimp (which included in the combo) the other combo I asked for mashed potatoes and they gave me a whole potato lousy service I will never return to I dont recommend this place guys
I walked into Captain Ds and of course there is racism in that store and its really sad that were all trying to get along but Captain Ds is supposed to serve any kind of people no matter who you were or what you wore was still human beings to able to go into the restaurant and since Im white I get dirty looks hateful if I asked for to get something else would you get any condiments its a sin for what this store is allowing to happen

2021-10-19No more Micky Ds filet of fish for me... Captain Ds will forever get my money as long as my fish sandwich looks like this... Yummy, nice size portion. This is dinner for one night and lunch the next afternoon, I can never finish the whole sandwich in one sitting... 😍

2021-08-21Most fast food restaurant are good enough to keep their customers coming back. Captain Ds is a prime example. Unfortunately, its the staff that makes a world of difference in the quality. From the cooking quality, service quality even down to the preparation of a customer meal. With that said, today the quality in preparing my food fell very short to disbelief. I have attached a picture of my side of broccoli...untouched other than the person who prepared it. Unfortunately, again there will be what the restaurant will consider a valid reason for their mistake Oh, there is a shortage, or under staff and expect the customer to understand. Its Captain Ds, I come back because its always good tasting food to me. Just disappointed with my meal today.

2022-06-16If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was absolutely cold and the hush puppies were hard as rocks. I’m surprised they didn’t break my teeth my baked potato tasted like it sat under the heat lamp for 4 hours because it was clumpy and dark brown. My fish was crusty like dirty underwear for real.

2021-07-24Had a pretty good experience after not going here for several years. I frequented for over a decade previously. Shrimp were definitely sitting for awhile cooked already. Everything else was fairly fresh. Service was good.

2022-06-28I ordered the southern style catfish with green beans n broccoli. Broccoli was raw n not steamed and catfish looked like thin tenders. Woke up the next day feeling nauseous, fatigue, diarrhea, fever. I got food poisoning and I will never eat here again

I would’ve, but anyways, I placed an order online while I was waiting for some work to get done on my SUV up the street, it was $15, that wasn’t the issue, the issue was for $15, all 15 of my shrimp were burnt, (it’s pre-cooked & frozen, how was it still burnt??), my fries were cold & soggy and I ordered a Medium Mt Dew w/ light ice, but they were out of Mt Dew & Med cups so I was given a sweet tea 80% ice, 20% tea lol… tea was good, but don’t I get a choice of what I WANT to drink… but anyways, the little bit of tea I had & the hush puppies were good… customer service was a -10/10, shrimp 0/10, fries 0/10.

2022-02-27The food was good n seasoned but they left out my condiments gave me vinegar n no hot sauce when i asked for hot sauce. No forks but its ok. I will come again it was better than the one on hwy 85 hands down period. Thank you for ur service n ur professional customer service

2020-04-30If I could give a zero I would. Hair was on the fish we just purchased from this location. This is absolutely disgusting. It was literally intertwined with the batter. Which leads me to believe ppl are not adhering to appreciate food services guidelines. NEVER eating here again. This order will be returned.
