I went to Carl Roswell with very high expectations do to a friend referring me to them to purchase a few vehicles for a business that is growing. Had the worse experience with a sales man named Caleb Holtzclaw. Obviously, he was more eager to be somewhere else then to help me and answer my questions. The guy was just plain rude. I took my sales somewhere else and aquires 5 new vehicles. Please have a talk with this gentleman before he ruins sales for your business .
I absolutely love and baby my 2016 Regal GS that I recently purchased.This is my 2nd personal car. As I drove a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am for nearly 20 years and with over 317k miles.To my dismay, my Buick developed a misfire that I could not diagnose as I am unfamiliar with the LTG turbo engine. After frequent forum research, I believed it to be something piston related. After several unsuccessful attempts to remedy the misfire, I decided to drop off my car the night of February 3rd.Larry called me the morning of (Feb 4th) and was put immediately at ease. He assured that there will be processes that will be performed and to my relief, he mentioned it would be under powertrain warranty if the inspection would deem it so.He worked hard to get me a rental for the duration and made each phone engagement smooth and easy. He was clear and considerate, emphatic and understanding.I applaud his efforts to make the experience inviting, easy, and worry free.The car was delivered as promised, washed (didnt ask), and hand delivered by Larry to ensure I was absolutely happy with the results.If you are reading this, Larry, thank you. You went far and beyond the call of duty to put this gear head at ease and a believer in your customer service acumen.
Sales manager and finance guy said one thing and shook my hand on it then out something different in the paperwork. Its disappointing to see people this shady for a buck, or in this case closer to 2 thousand. Watch these people carefully when youre doing business with them, I went on what seemed like a good guy looking me in the eye and shaking my hand just to feel ripped off when I realized 6 months later.
I get It’s a used car. But if you’re going to advertise a condition atleast ensure the car is in that condition. Loose pillar trim panels, disconnected heating elements on the rear glass. I’m not sure how many vehicles any dealership is moving in a week but 4-5 hours worth of checks would have completely corrected stuff i will still have to fix.Lastly, i dont Need a dealership to program key fobs. That’s some lazy sales manager nonsense.
Sales person, Caleb H, didn’t realize that he had met me in person a few days prior.Was ok in person, but when I reached out to him was very unprofessional via texts message. Just plain rude , errogant even. I live in a few countries Amd was looking for a new vehicle here for the US . Afterwards , I bought elsewhere just bc of this response to me. Sad bc my whole family buys from CB . No more !
I recently worked with Carl black to purchase a new Denali. Over the course of a week we agreed on the car and scheduled an appointment 12-7 to purchase the car. I went ahead and sold my wifes car that morning to make room for the new car. That afternoon I went in to finalize all the papers and make the payment. After signing everything and making the payment the finance guy said give me a second and walked out. The manager came in a few minutes later and told me that they had already sold the car to someone else and said sorry for the mistake. Obviously cars are extremely hard to come by right now so they did not have any other cars to buy. They ended up giving me a loaner car and called me a week later saying that they had a car being delivered Christmas Eve. I went back in to sign the paperwork on this car because I trusted what they said. Well its now 12-26 and I still dont have a car. I have had several other dealerships call me saying they have the car I am looking for but now Im stuck because I have already signed the paperwork. I even put a deposit on another car 12-7 the day the first deal fell through. The other dealer told me they would have a car on the 26th and actually had it early. I would have bought from them had I not signed all the paperwork with Carl black because I trusted they would deliver on their promises. The point of all this is Carl Black made multiple promises that didnt come through and there are so many other options and dealers to work with that actually deliver on the promises they make. I just bought a bmw for myself during this whole ordeal and what a stark contrast between these two experiences. Unbelievable top notch service and experience vs the stereotypical bad car buying experience. Anyone looking for a gmc has been warned. Stay far away from this place.
Racial profile ask for a report and they didn’t give it. Contacted corporate and they diagnosed my car with no errors sent me the report, guy immediately says it’s a transmission issue without even test driving my car, they are supposed to test drive cars if no check engine light comes on and he refused. Unprofessional and down right racist! Let me had been a white woman….run fast from them!
My wife and I bought another vehicle from the Carl Black dealership in Roswell. They took great care of me on my new 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 4WD Crew Cab. Everyone from Jeff Collins my sales person, Jon Roberson the Sales Manager, finance team to Michael Bousher Owner/ President were great. In addition, the Service department team took fast and super professional care of me with a few accessories including Front Center Console Safe, Kicker MultiPro Tailgate Audio System and tailgate LED lights. I highly recommend their team to my family and friends. You want the automotive buying and service experience done right go to the Carl Black of Roswell. No I am not a paid spokesperson. I don’t like most other dealerships and if I had a problem I would say it. I will be back.

I normally go to another Carl Black, but because I recently moved, I came gere for routine work. The staff was great and very attentive. Waiting room was well spaced and stocked with water and seating. Definitely will continue coming to this location! Ask for Nick, he is the best!
I brought my car from Carl Black for my childs mother its our family car. Earlier this year I needed an oil change and a couple of months after I needed another. In July I and my fiancee both contacted Steve left numerous messages they asked about mileage for some strange reason but never made any efforts to correct the error made on their behalf. After two months Bill finally returns my call to the Manager and in doing so stood by offering credit and stated that in him doing so he was being nice. That his staff reviewed the images and see the oil is clear and filter not dark contrary to my professional opinion and that of my manager and crew at the shop I work at. He for some reason couldnt acknowledge my frustration and attitude and disrespect shown to not only myself but my fiancee who did a majority of the calling. I informed him I have a degree in business and that they are liable for the botched job and in refunding the money he is not doing me any favors as I myself had to redo the job not done by their staff, Bill could care less, and did the Can I speak thing. As if he needed my permission to do so. I simply informed him once he doubled down on credit that I in my right mind could not trust them to do the job and simply would like my money returned as I did the job myself, he denied the opportunity offered so in my disappointment I will not be returning to this dealership even though I brought my car there. The promise of treatment given as a customer was a lie, the way he spoke with such confidence in offering credit but denying a refund was insulting. Maybe this is a one-time incident and doesnt happen often but why is it happening. There was no sticker look at the pictures but instead of correcting these people did nothing for two months and speak as if in returning a call and offering credit a favor was done for me. My advice go to Mavis, they will call you and correct any mistakes made when made aware, I know this as a fact. I personally will not be returning to this Carl Black dealership or any other, not after the treatment given and excuses made for it.
This place is top notch. After being bent over by a dealership next door with a Truck that was sold with no due diligence (it seems)I expressed what had happened by the other dealership and they went to work.Ive got my dream truck and Smiley, Ruan and Daniel made it happen. My husband and I just had an amazing truck buying experience at Carl Black of Roswell! Travis and Nick Grieme were great!! For the first time EVER, car buying was painless, friendly, and fun. At no point was there a feeling of high pressure sales or end of month quotas. ***Sidenote: as a woman I felt that all involved valued my opinions and respected my input during the entire process!!
In past years my husband & I have bought several vehicles at this location. They have completely gone downhill. The sales people & managers are rude and unhelpful. When picking up my vehicle the service person didn’t even look up and just pointed to say where my car was…. which it wasn’t! it was down on the lower level- The sales mgr flat out lied about leasing new 2021 vehicles! i will never go there again & unless you want to be treated rudely- i strongly recommend you steer clear of this dealership. They used to at least act like they cared about their customers- it seems now they could not care less.
After a few weeks of searching I finally found a truck with the exact options I wanted. After calling the dealership to confirm pricing and availability, I decided to travel 2 hours the next day to meet in person to purchase the truck. Once I got there and sat down to purchase the truck they added an additional $7,000 to the price of the vehicle. After they realized that I acknowledged the tactic they were trying to scam me with, they took away the paper document stating the pricing of the vehicle and refused to show me the document again. I have screen shots and proof of the online price and the in person price increase. I will be reporting you to the Georgia Independent Auto Dealer Association.
I stopped to look at a truck and met Dominick. Dominick showed me the truck and answered all my questions except one. He walked me to the service department to get my question answered. I talked to him and Jon about the truck and they made me feel good about the product. A few days went by and I did not contact them due to work and I saw the truck was gone. Thinking that they sold it I was bummed. Come to find out that they pulled it off line and had my name on it. I was able to purchase it without any issues. Everyone I met from Tod (Smiley), Jon, Dominick, Matt, Steve and Bill have been patient, friendly and easy to work with. I like this dealership, I would recommend.
I saw they had a Yukon xl on stock, advertised online for MSRP minus $500. So I called to verify availability before I drove to the dealership. After speaking with the salesman (Paul Marr) he confirmed its availability but also I formed me there would be an additional $4995 dealer fee. Surprised, I asked what the fee was for. He said, Frankly, these vehicles are hard to find so we charge extra. I asked why didnt he add it to the advertised price and he said they wouldnt get any calls. I feel this is a dishonest practice for any dealership to be taking advantage of people during this time and I wouldnt support a den of thieves.
No respect for customers time.I booked a service appointment for 10am, and made sure that this was for a diagnostic check up. The lady on the phone confirmed that the diagnostic will take about an hour to get it checked and get the result.On the day of the appointment I arrive at Carl Black at 930, I go up to the service agent and she tells me “sorry but you would have to leave the car here for a couple of hours”. I tell them that I made an appointment for ten, she says she sees that in the system but still I would have to leave it their for a couple of hours.Long story short I left Carl black and went to the nearest Chevy service center and they had me out in a little over an hour.
This is one amazing dealership great professional service excellent prices honest hard working down to earth people if your shopping for a GM vehicle don’t buy one until you give this dealership a chance to earn your business the sales person mr sterling is a very patient man he answered all my annoying questions and his manager is as professional and friendly as any one can be and there finance guy is very knowledgeable and and awesome there dealership may not have all the bells and whistles to make you feel like you are in Vegas but that is not a bad thing because you will get a great price on your GM vehicle and excellent service and that is what really matters because that is what your taking home with you I highly recommend this dealership for your next GM car.

Carl did not try to push anything upon us, but listened and made spit on recommendations. I’ve gotten my service done with Carl black for years and I honestly do love it there but there was a major turn off for me. While waiting in service there was a young lady whom worked in sales and the clothes that she is allowed to wear is ridiculous wearing a skirt that comes pass her buttocks and you can definitely see her cheeks this has to be the hooters of car dealerships but hey I guess if it sales and by the way it is very unprofessional!!!!
Service was poor… went in with my fiancé to trade a 2014 chevy ltz silverado and they nearly tried to steal it with the trade in offer value. Meanwhile, the lot down the street is offering far more they just current do not have the truck we are looking for….1) there is a truck shortage 2) they should learn to be fair with pricing. Also, the manager act like he refused to come to speak with us. A good sales person never let a deal walk!
Over 2 hours to get an oil change at the service department. If it hadnt been free from having purchased the vehicle there I would never go there again. When I asked if this kind of time delay was normal they checked and said it would be 10 more minutes but it was another 35. Definitely would not recommend going there if you have anything else to do that day
Went to lease a Buick Enclave base upon what is advertised on their web site at around $465 (included tax) however was initially quoted over $700! When queried about the large discrepancy they immediately came back with $512 which is much closer to the web leasing price. When I asked for an explanation as to the difference between the web and their second offer the manager Jon R was nowhere to be found and nobody knew when he would be back, so we left the dealership with a commitment that they would get back to me. Still waiting for that explanation and we were so close to an agreement over $47 a month. All we were asking for was a plausible explanation.Also beware of a maintenance contract and “go faster racing stripes” dealer installed accessories which are automatically included although you did not request them. Even when the vehicle on the lot is in a pre-dealership inspection state the logic of if you do not install these unwanted accessories they will not be included in the price seemed to escape Jon R.
I’ve been going to Carl Black for the past 10 to 12 years and I’m never disappointed by their service department. They are extremely professional, Patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I would also like to think Larry my service advisor for always being so amazing. He always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and he’s so proactive and he always goes above and beyond. There is a dealership that is closer to me but Carl Black’s service is the reason I drive the extra miles because I know they’re always going to do right by me. I highly recommend using their service department.
I would HIGHLY recommend the service department at Carl Black GMC in Roswell, GA. I had an issue with my Yukon XL, and they went above and beyond to take care of my problem and fix my vehicle in a very timely manner. Our service rep was Nick Rose, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. He thoroughly explained the steps of the repair and kept us informed throughout the process. Customer Service Manager, Bill Dreaper, was also extremely professional and helpful in our situation. We will definitely be back to Carl Black should any of our vehicles need service! Found their amazing Groupon for oil changes. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. Appointment times can get dicey, but everyone wants to get serviced here, so its understandable.Im able to bring my laptop and get work done in their remote work stations with their free wifi.The water coolers stay stocked and the coffee is ready and waiting for you.Oil change was quick and I really appreciate the inspection report. It helps me plan my upcoming preventative maintenance (breaks, tires, tune ups, etc).I hope they continue the Groupon offer for a long time. Its totally worth it.
UPDATE!!! PLEASE READ! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CARL BLACK ROSWELL!!!! Or should I say attempt! We purchased a Yukon approximately 6 months ago, so we were returning as repeat customers, thinking we would get optimum care considering this. I contacted Paul Marr who was our sales associate. He first quoted me 10,000 more than the online price. That should’ve been my first red flag but they fixed it after I called him out on it. We then settled on a price for the truck and started the buying process. We told them not to run my husbands credit unless he can ensure the truck was ours. **Please see texts below** where they said it was. We also had a phone conversation with Paul where he said it was in transit and was for sure ours and he didn’t need a deposit. During all of this the correspondence became terrible. They then ran our credit (we have great credit and wanted it to stay this way), and Erik with finance called giving us payment options a few days later. My husband asked a simple question about a rebate Erik mentioned that was never discussed by Paul. My husband made it clear to him that he wanted the truck. He was told they would call him right back And then, just like that, crickets. Phone calls and texts ignored by Paul and Matt Hernandez. Then the following day after many attempts of correspondence they tell us they sold the truck via text. After a week and a half of them telling us the truck was ours, running our credit (lowering our credit score), and keeping us from looking for another vehicle, they sell the truck out from under us. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT ANYONE, ESPECIALLY RETURNING CUSTOMERS!!!! We have filed a complaint with the Georgia Department of Consumer Affairs and I would encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to do the same!
I have been taking my 2006 GMC Sierra truck to the Carl Black service center I’m Alpharetta since the day I got it and I am consistently pleased and gracious for the excellent care that is shown to me and to my vehicle. Particularly, Doug Fincher has been my service rep for over 10 years and I always know that he will take care of me and he has my best interest in mind. He is honest, gracious and always shoots me straight. I’ll never take my vehicle anywhere else and over the years I have travelled long distances merely to take my truck to Carl Black because of Doug and his team.I highly recommend this establishment and I’m so thankful for their continued, exemplary service.

Came for an oil change which was great but the lack of people wearing a mask is absolutely ridiculous. Only 4 people, including myself, are wearing a mask and we’re all customers. Not one employee has a mask on. Zero employees are social distancing. I had a great experience buying my car here a year and a half ago but I will never recommend this place to another person again. I will never come back here despite the great service I’ve received in the past. I absolutely can’t believe that GMC allows a place like this to represent their name. I’m livid and can’t believe this is going on and very few people seem to be concerned about it.
My wife was in an accident while traveling from another state. I needed to have the car towed to a safe spot to handle the potential transfer of the car/keys to the auto transport company. I called another dealer and received a very sub-par response. I called Carl Blacks service department and received top-notch responses and service. I was treated like I was a long-time customer and felt at ease through my long-distance coordination of the transfer. Bill Draper and Aaron Porter were excellent during the process and I appreciated their help. I can see why the tow truck driver told my wife that Carl Black is a great dealership. If I ever have a need to find a dealer in the area again, I know where I will go.
We bought a car from this place back on The Saturday after Black Friday. It is now January 8 and they have not released the information to the DMV so that we can put a tag on it and our temporary tag expires on Monday. They also promised us a key fob that was missing when we bought the car we have made numerous numerous calls and no one returned them. Our sales person Paul was the worst I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend buying a car somewhere else if you want good customer service.
I came into Carl Black after work this week and was treated so well that I’m leaving a review. I made an appointment over the phone with Aisha, and was greeted by the manager John. Jeff showed me a car and gave me all of the details. They were patient, very interested in my needs and put me in the perfect car for my budget. I was so tired of looking around at other dealerships who didn’t listen to my needs and kept pushing me toward higher monthly payments. Thank you to everyone here at Carl Black. I appreciate the time you spent with me and the kindness you showed me. I will recommend them to everyone!
I love this place! I have been coming here for over 15 years and have purchased my last two vehicles from here. They treat me well and I feel like I am apart of their family. The SERVICE center in particular is awesome!! Bill Dreaper, the service manager offers great customer service and care. He is always quick to respond and it is his team that keeps me coming back. Strongly encourage all to go there.I have been Involved in the car business for most of my life, a few years ago I sold the dealership and relocated to the Alpharetta area. Recently I purchased 2 new vehicles from a Buick / GMC store because they had the car in stock that my wife wanted. Sorry to say that it was not Carl Black. When it came time for my first service, I called to schedule for the initial service and also a concern that I had with transmission. I was told that they could do the initial service, but could not address the transmission issue for weeks, so she recommended that I go somewhere else. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I called Carl Black Buick / GMC & got scheduled for the following day. I could not have been treated better. Larry, my service advisor, was terrific. Upon arriving I was greeted in a prompt, attentive and friendly manner. Everything was taken care of and I was on my way within an hour. He actually appreciated my business and I appreciated his customer service.I strongly recommend Larry and the team at Carl Black. They definitely earned my business.
Love Carl Black in Roswell! I bought my first GMC vehicle from them almost 15 years ago. I had such a great experience with the service department I bought my next vehicle,an Acadia, from the same place. All because of Larry Auzenne in the Service department. He is the BEST! Ive always feel like he is honest with me whenever I have an issue with my vehicle. Its easy to contact him to set up an appointment for oil change,brake maintenance or tire rotation. Its nice to know someone who takes pride in providing customer service in our automated world these days. When its time to buy another vehicle,Ill be returning to Carl Black in Roswell.
Carl black GMC in Roswell is great! The service department is spectacular and they treat me like I’m family every time I come in. I typically deal with Tod Baker, I think he may be one of the owners but he goes out of his way every time to make sure I am satisfied whether it is sales or service. I’ve been a customer for years, and since day one I’ve always received wonderful customer service from the entire staff.But I credit, my customer service representative, Steve Jarrett mainly for my customer loyalty ! He’s become like family! He’s always taken care of us. From simple maintenance, to providing a rental, tow truck assistance, and on occasion pick up or drop off of vehicle. Which is a life saver to a single mom with kids that didnt or don’t drive! I plan to remain a loyal customer for many more!
WHEEL FELL OFF. Enough said. I visited the shop for a tire rotation, oil change, and apparent power steering recall. I waited over an hour over the estimated time. I got my car back and drove it off the lot. About a mile down the road the car started feeling weird. I thought it might be the power steering. I slowed down to turn around and the whole back driver side wheel came off and went across 4 lanes of traffic, hitting 3 cars in the time. Only 3 lug nuts could even be found at the time on the road. Obviously the car was allowed off the lot without any lug nuts tightened. The shop assumed liability but was stand off. When I got back to the shop it was obvious they were discussing legal issues with someone over the phone. I filed an insurance claim with their insurance, which has been a disaster. The dealership has yet to contact me to ensure all is okay. Highly disappointed in the way they have handled this issue and the way their insurance has handled as well. Do not visit their shop. This is my first review ever and I only feel the need to do so to warn others.Edited to add that this happened mid-September and still havent heard anything from Carol Black. Should have read reviews beforehand. And over a month later, still in a rental fighting with their insurance. Lesson- Dont go there.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!!! They rotated my tires and didn’t tighten the wheel capes on my wheels. Honest mistake. Only problem is they refused to cover the cost to fix there mistake. If you want to wait 2 hours and get ripped off by people who don’t care about the care of your vehicle, this is your spot.To there reply: It’s exactly how your service department is, because I call and spoke with them twice about the situation and flat out refused to fix the problem. The manager told me it was my problem and not there’s.
I dealt with Bill Dreaper and he was awesome!! I couldnt be more happier with the customer service. Think about Chick-Fil-A service but 2-times better.I brought in a GMC Sierra with the engine light on and they were able to tell me what was wrong with it and how long it was going to be to fix it right away. I have recommended some friends and family and will continue to do so!
I called a day before and was told the Audi Q5 i was looking for was available and scheduled an appointment for early morning. I drove an hour the next day, got there at 9:45 AM and the salesperson tells me the car has been sent to an auction and said good bye. They didnt even felt sorry or tried to make things work out. Never coming back and would not even recommend it to my enemy!!!
I have been bringing my vehicles to this service dept. since I moved here 14 years ago...to Larry Auzenne specifically. He always takes great care of our 3 cars. He cares about his customers! My husband used to be skeptical as he, like many others, thought car dealers charged more for their service than independents. Not anymore. We know if Larry says it needs to be done, it needs to be done. And it will be done correctly at a fair price. Our 2002 Yukon XL (farm truck) still runs great with 290,000 miles on the original engine!! We trust these guys. You should too.

Over the last few years I have seen CBR at many charity and local events, always being a sponsor and giving endlessly to my community. I thought why not give them business as well. After a botched job at Goodyear, Larry confirmed my steering gear was not bad and it was indeed just a very bad alignment causing my steering to go all over the place. I went today to have my 2019 Buick Encore oil changed. I bought my Buick from Rick Hendrick Duluth. Since Carl Black was closer went their for the first oil change. Service Advisor was excellent. However when I got home and checked under the hood their was oil on engine cover and front area where the oil cap must have been placed. It was not cleaned off. I would have expected better attention to detail. Would have been 5 star if they would have paid attention to detail.

Could not be more disappointed with this dealership. I will never buy a vehicle there again. Totally unprofessional. After buying 2 trucks there in the past I went in to buy another truck. They completely neglected to tell me about discounts that were expiring even though I asked specifically if that was going to happen. They said no. The next day, they wouldnt honor their quote. They even admitted it was their fault. I asked them to reconsider. They said give me a couple days and I will get back to you. That was 4 days ago. Nothing. Go to Jim Ellis Buick GMC!!! Been bringing my car here for a few years now and the service is always great, Tommy always takes care of me. Had to bring my car in because something was rattling around in the engine, a something had come loose. Worked with Aaron who took care of everything, very friendly and professional, kept me informed through the process. Got my car back good as new!
Will never use their service again. Brought our car in for the $19.99 oil change. Told them to look at a couple of other items: motor mounts and AC. As I already suspected the motor mounts did need to be replaced. On the AC they said we needed a rear evaporator. But they also said we needed an oil pressure sensor because it was leaking and a CV boot was leaking. The quoted prices were crazy high. So we just paid for our oil change and took it to the shop that has been doing our work for a while. The motor mounts were confirmed but at a much lower price. The AC: it was not the rear evaporator but it was the main compressor housing that had a crack in it and caused the leak. So if we had done the evaporator it still would not have fixed it and cost over $1k to not fix the issue. They checked the CV boots and oil pressure sensor. Bone dry. So there were totally dishonest and tried to get us to make repairs that did not need to be done. Will never get another dime from me
I dropped my 2020 GMC AT4 with less than 3k miles off to have recall work done on it. Since I was being inconvenienced because of a manufacturer recall, I would have thought the least they would and could have done would be to wash my truck especially since I didnt ask for a loaner or a ride or anything. I guess my expectations were way too high. I now understand why people by Lexus, Mercedes and BMW and not GMC products. Their dealerships understand customer service and how to build loyal customers.

My 2011 Chevy Equinox had a check engine light on and a loud rattle noise from under the hood. I took it to Carl Black in Roswell since it was close to my job site. I walked in with no appointment and saw the first advisor on the left of service drive, Tommy Webb. He was able to scan my vehicle on the service drive, told me there was a special coverage for my vehicle. He even put me in a rental vehicle and kept me informed about my car throughout the day by test message.I got my car fixed and a rental car due to special coverage, they fixed my car the same day and were very courteous. Great vehicle and a good price. The staff were easy to work with. I flew from MI to get the vehicle and they were very accommodating. Overall great experience. Only recommendation I would give to them is to have 1 person be the contact for a customer. I called and texted with 3 different people leading up to taking delivery of the vehicle and didn’t know what role each of them had. They all seemed to do the same thing. On delivery day I met with those 3 people plus a person that did the final paperwork. It would have been nice to just deal with 1 person start to finish. Again, overall great experience.

My service mgr, Doug Fincher, is outstanding too and I always take my car back here for servicing.For me, car shopping isn’t fun, but the Carl Black team made it easy. He did not make me feel pressured, and walked me through he whole process, and options that I could make for such a huge decision. This is my second time going to Carl Black for service after I purchased my vehicle from them. The people are nice, but their expectations for how long it should take is absolutely ludicrous. Each time it took 3 and a half while they insinuated it would be an hour and a half.My first visit was for a bed cover installation. It took 3.5 hours with an appointment on a weekday. Come to find out, this “waterproof” bed cover was poorly installed making it not actually waterproof.Second visit was a seatbelt recall and to fix the bed cover that took a total of 3.5 hours, again with an appointment. The bed cover, however, is still not fixed.My advice if you are to get service done here, don’t listen to the estimate they tell you. Drop the vehicle off in the morning and expect it to be done at the end of the day.
My husband and I went to the Roswell store. Looked at it truck. Was given a quote, got to financing and it was 6k plus more. They added a wheel package. I am frankly shocked that a company like this would do something like that. Why not say you made a mistake originally? Before you wasted our time? Finance guy was extremely nervous. Great dealership for all needs. Bought a used GMC Sierra Denali that came with a maintenance package. Bill Dreaper and his team made sure all of the maintenance was taken care of throughout the warranty period. They also make sure to notify you of any recalls when dropping of for oil changes, and they take care of the recalls at the same time. Doug is great at communicating through phone calls, emails, and any other form so that he gets in touch with you as soon as repairs or maintenance are complete.
Since 2008, I have had my Buick Enclave and my Chevrolet Silverado serviced at Carl Black of Roswell. I have always received excellent service, reasonably priced periodic maintenance and repairs, such as brackets, etc. They also have competitive prices for replacement tires. Larry Auzenne, Service Advisor, has always provided excellent service, timely scheduling and completion of work needed on my vehicles. It’s my opinion that Larry always strives to meet the needs of his customers!

The salesman, Brandon, was great. He made it a great experience. When it can time to talk money, John, did everything I ask for in getting me where I needed to be, in my trade, in what i wanted in the vehicle and the selling price of the vehicle I was looking to purchase. We then went to finance to do all paperwork and was again treated like we were the only people on the planet. Brittney was great. She explained everything to where we did not have to ask any questions. This was probably the second best experience I ever had buying a new car, and this made my 7 new vehicle in the past 10 years. I will definitely come back here when I am in the market again.

I was in the market to purchase a new truck. My wife and I stopped at Carl Black in Roswell to look at their inventory. At the very beginning there was no high pressure sales or loom over you while you look feeling. Nick Grieme and Travis were the most professional and respectful sales reps Ive ever encountered at any dealership!!! I was able to tell them my expectations and they were very upfront and forward at the very beginning!!! This was so respectful of my wife and Is time. Especially since we had our son with us. I reached out approximately a week ago and talked to Paul Marr. We spoke briefly and he promised to call me back. As of 1/5/21. No returned call. I also emailed another sales person with no reply. I’m in sales myself. If this is what people should expect from their sales team. I would shop elsewhere. All possible sales are important to any dealership. I had put a deposit on a future Hummer order. That will now change.
Mixed feeling about this place. We purchased a used car from here and thought we were getting a great deal on it. After having the car for a week we started to have problems with it. I called and spoke to the salesman whom we purchased it from. I explained to him what was going on told me that hed get back to me about the issues I was having and never did back to me about it. They put too much oil in the engine which caused it to spill over into the turbo! Almost costing me a new one. There also wasnt enough coolant caused the car to overheat heat. I had to stop and get coolant before work. They should train their techs better and inspect their cars more thoroughly
I’ve been taking my GMCs to Carl Black just over 15 years now. And I’ve had the opportunity to experience other GMC dealerships by way of my relocations to Dallas and Austin, TX. One thing that truly stands out is the superior attention and customer experience they’ve always provided me. I have to say I’ve been lucky to have Doug Fincher as my Service Advisor, Always shooting straight with me, I never felt like I was getting the run around. Time and time again, Bill Draeper the Service Director would come and greet me as well as ensure I was provided the adequate accommodations and service that one should expect with their investments. Needless to say, he’s always exceeded my expectations. I’ve had trucks, SUVs, and company cars serviced by these guys and I can’t enough about them. Whenever there’s a complication of any kind, I’m treated like family and with level of respect that should be viewed as a benchmark for all service departments. Truly appreciate these guys!
I came in for service for my Chevy Cobalt because Ive heard nothing but good things about this place! My service advisor was Olivia and she was amazing! They have a very clean waiting area with tv, popcorn, coffee, water and there was even a work space. I couldnt have asked for a better experience! I will definitely be back again.
I was 16 years old when I bought my first car and I havent had a new car since then. Now, Im 52 years old and decided to buy an almost new Buick Encore. Scott Edwards was incredibly kind and patient as he dealt with my endless questions and requests. I was so excited and he made the process even more enjoyable (Do people say that about buying a car?) Anyway, I had heated leather seats put in and the passenger side wasnt working. I called Scott and he arranged for the installer to call me to make arrangements to get it fixed. The guy told me that it couldnt be done and gave me some technical reason why the heating element couldnt be put inside the passenger seat because of the airbag mechanism in the seat. Basically, he was telling me that I paid for a seat and half to be heated. I called Scott, told him the story and he saidThats bull! and he handled it for me! He made sure that somebody who knew what they were doing fixed the seat, had my car washed and detailed, got me a loaner so I wouldnt be without a ride and made sure that my vehicle would be filled with gas when I picked my car up. I told him and I mean this ... He is my Salesman from here on out. Where he goes, I am sure that I wont be the only client that will follow so I suggest you hold on to him for a while. Of course, I may be 70 before a buy another car but trust that I am going to Scott when I do! Thank you, Scott for making my car buying experience seamless and for being such an incredible salesman that goes beyond to make a client feel like they matter and arent just a number. You are THE BOMB!!!

Carl Black is the place to go for your GMC and Chevy trucks and suvs. They have the best selection, solid pricing, great customer service, and what I like most of all is their community involvement. Smiley, the GM, does all he can for the local Roswell community and schools. The last Youth Day parade they have a dozen or so beautiful new trucks they allow the schools to use. Really cool dealership.

Literally purchased a truck online that showed on their website to be delivered to our house 6-11/2021 at 6 pm. Didn’t hear anything all day so I call to check on it and was told the vehicle was sold to another dealership over 2 weeks ago. Went thru the whole process, financing to get to talk to Matt that could only say “you bought a truck we don’t have”. Thanks Matt and team. May want to invest in a new IT department because someone’s not doing their job.
What a SCAM!!!! Went in today because my truck was under a recall. I had received some dealer coupons in the mail, so while I was there I asked them to check my battery (for free per coupon) in anticipation of the colder winter weather. Some time later, the service advisor came and told me that they couldnt complete the recall service until I replaced the battery for $250 because my truck would not start. I was very confused as to why it wouldnt start and the advisor said, you had a battery check on your file. I explained that I was NOT having problems with the battery and that I was not replacing it. She left to get further information and came back in about 20 minutes and told me I was all set. She claims that they jumped the vehicle and completed the recall repair. I immediately went to an independent service location and had my battery checked and it was GOOD. Very disappointing and they have lost my business.
Doug Fincher is one of the most reliable service reps Ive ever dealt with. He is the reason why weve purchased 4 vehicles from CB. He is always very accommodating and punctual. Ill continue to purchase vehicles and get them serviced from CB as long as Doug is there. Thanks Doug for all your help!

We are very impressed with the service at Carl Black in Roswell. We took my husbands work van for transmission work and Bill Draper gave us a very fair quote to replace it. The work was completed in a couple of days allowing my husband to get back to work in his HVAC business.
I just bought a car from here 6mts ago and Ive had the best experience with them. They have amazing staff who are always smiling and eager to help. Jason has helped me with whatever it is with no problem on vehicle even answering all my questions with patience when they were pretty busy . I never feel rushed. Friendly service BUT very unhappy that no one was wearing a mask at the dealership other than another customer. We have a diabetic child and cannot risk getting COVID-19. This is very disappointing and makes me extremely unlikely to purchase another vehicle at this dealership.
Doug Fincher has been my GMC service advisor since 2003. I highly recommend him. Doug provides informative expertise at every appointment. He is cheerful, honest and a delight to work with. Over the years, if I had a problem with my 2001 Yukon XL I would call Doug describe the problem or even imitate the sounds the car was making and Doug would know whether I should rush right in or if could handle the problem later.When my 2001 Yukon XL hit 300,000 miles I insisted on getting another GMC car so I could keep Doug as my service advisor. Right now he is managing the service on my 2016 Yukon XL
Our appointment for routine warranty service maintenance at this dealership when traveling out of state went quite well. We were pleased with the appointment availability, how efficiently the service was performed... all good.About ten days later, after traveling on to Florida and returning to Virginia via a family visit in Georgia, we scheduled another visit upon discovering a piece of molding loose at the rear door on the driver side of our 2017 GMC Acadia, purchased 12.31.17, not even one year old!We were informed the repair would be at our expense; imagine our shock. We were told based on what their body shop personnel noticed as a bump on the edge of the door (mind you, this bump/nick was less that the size of the nib of an ink pen), we must have hit something to cause the molding to break loose. Or, they said, it could have come loose in travel or the result of a car wash.My question for GMC and Carl Black Buick is Are you telling me your product is so delicate the molding cannot hold up to road travel? car washes? perhaps a mini bump to the edge of the door? And if so, where in your literature/warranty does it tell a customer/owner what the magic number of road miles or car washes are before you can expect your virtually new GMC Acadia molding to fail?And my biggest complaint, specifically to this dealership, we asked to be contacted by the service manager and here we are, approximately ten days later and not a word. Neither did we receive a give us a review follow-up as we did following the initial visit for warranty maintenance. Hmmm.And as a side note, regarding GMC standing behind the trim, we heard the same explanation from our home dealership and had to PAY to have it repaired. Just doesnt seem right, does it? GMC.... are you listening?

After dealing with Cadillac dealers who wouldnt help I was told to try Carl black Buick GMC. Nick Rose was very helpful and easy to work with. He helped me tremendously. The mechanic had a big job to do and I appreciate his great work. I would definitely recommend this place if you need great service all around!
Went to see what the Encores were all about. Kamron helped us out and did a crazy great job spending time, answering questions etc. He truly has a passion for his work, as well as the autos he represents. Just that alone was selling the cars for us. It was a frigid evening, so he was pulling the cars into the service bay so that we can review them in warmth. When we went to test drive, he made sure all heaters and seat warmers were on ahead of time. Just superb service if but for the little things. Thank you again for a great experience!

Brought a vehicle in under ex warranty and left the car for over a week. One of 3 issues were fixed even though I was told everything was good to go. I was told to give it a few days and if the issues still persist to contact them back. Of course a damaged item doesnt fix itself, never the less I waited and called back but now the service person Who handle everything is out till July 14 and tells me to call the front desk and relay my concerns, again.

2022-06-14I will always be a fan of Carl Black in Roswell due to their staff. It started with getting an estimate for repair work. I felt immediately welcomed by Mel and he took great care of me and my car. Fast forward a few years to being in the market for a new car for our growing family and I had the pleasure of working with Gordon. He was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles and listened to our needs for finding the perfect family car. We had a wonderful experience and are so blessed and thankful to be a part of the Carl Black family!

My car needed to be vacuumed and he still put down a floor mat. Which was unnecessary and kinda funny. But appreciated no less.Ill be back!Thank you.

2022-04-22Their service department is so professional and considerate. I called them really upset due a sudden, unexpected issue with my car, and they spoke in a calm, reassuring manner. Once I got to the shop, the representative on the phone, Nick, remembered me from the call, and they immediately started working on my car and letting me know it was going to be alright. Efficient service, and I know I can trust them for both emergency repairs and regular servicing going forward.

They lack communication skills and sell your car from right under you (or send it to auction, apparently). I found the perfect car for my son, perfect price. Contacted the dealership, received a prompt CANNED response from someone named Tod Baker. Then received communicae from Aisha Jackson. I was THRILLED to purchase my son his dream car. I just received a notification that this car is being sent to auction. THEN WHY DID YOU POST IT FOR SALE????? Terrible dealership, terrible communication, and I look forward to writing an in dept report on their procedures. DONT GO HERE!!!!!Found the car at a different dealership and will be picking it up tomorrow!

2022-05-31I’ve been coming to this dealership since 2013 and it’s sad that the service has been going downhill. I recently had a repair done here and their technician didn’t properly secure a part to the car which resulted in the part falling off somewhere. When I attempted to contact the body shop manager Greg directly and left several voicemails I got no response. No call back. Kept calling and finally reached this guy who basically stated because it didn’t happen in a week it’s not their fault. He also insisted my part was stolen even though this vehicle sits in my garage. Mind you I’ve had issues in the past with this dealership damaging a battery tray by improperly installing a battery. Not extremely hard to replace a battery but another instance where their technicians just didn’t take care and provide quality service. I’ve had to bring my vehicles back constantly because repair wasn’t done correctly or the issue was not diagnosed correctly costing me money and time. Won’t be returning!

2021-07-30Carl Black out did themselves once’s again! I purchased a new truck back in June and loved the way I was treated so much that I came back this month and purchased a new Yukon for my wife. I got on my phone and texted my salesman Dominick Fabricatore and told him that I was in the market for a second time and was looking for a great deal on a new Yukon, as well as a trade. Within an hour I’d say we were able to make a deal over text!!! Carl Black gave more $3K more for my trade than ANY other dealership that I called in GA, SC and NC. Mind you, I live in SC and this dealership is about a 4 hour drive for me. Dominick went to bat for me and got an amazing price on the new Yukon and we were able to reach a better price out the door than I had hoped! We sealed the deal and they had the vehicle delivered to me the very next day by one of their salesman. Amazing dealership that continues to amaze me. Thank you Dominick and Carl Black for making this an easy and awesome experience. I wish car buying always felt this good. Trust me, I will be back!!
