My twin son brought my 2016 Buick Enclave there regarding the key fob not working properly. My husband and I are veterans and seniors. My twin son is a full-time student. I should be registered as a veteran and loyalty (rewards) customer with Carl Black dealership. I felt that the price of $232 was extremely high without compensation of our status mentioned above. Therefore, my vehicle should be registered in the computer system since I am a former customer as well.
I took my car in to have a leak fixed in my trunk. Jason Ellis, the service advisor I worked with, provided timely updates and even got the technician on the phone to answer my questions and explain the repair. After picking up my car, I realized that the technician fixed A leak but not THE leak in the trunk that I brought it in for. Even though I reached out to Jason after he was off work for the day, he immediately called me back, apologized, and said he would have my car prioritized to be looked at the following morning. After taking my car back in, it was fixed within 24 hours. Even though an error occurred, I appreciate the high level of customer service provided by Jason and for the dealership taking accountability for the mistake.
Spoke with the sell person Clair. She wanted to load almost $3000.00 worth of miscellaneous non-essential or BS items into the sale and called them dealer fees. I just said no thank you and ended the call. I suggest everyone else do the same. These Items for the most part add no value to your vehicle and are over priced. Walk away, actually run. You will find another dealer who will be more realistic.
I am very disappointed in this dealership in the service department. One of the reasons why I brought our 2019 Chevy Suburban here was because of the great reviews online which is what people look for when deciding to buy or bring their vehicle in for repairs or maintenance. I am here to tell you do not! Do not, Bring your vehicle here. I made an appointment at 10:00am and my wife and I along with our 4 kids arrived expecting them to provide us a rental or a vehicle on their lot so we wouldn’t be stranded since it’s still under the factory warranty right? No! Instead we are stuck at the dealership with four kids which you could only imagine what a headache that is. If they weren’t going to provide a vehicle you would have thought someone would have told us that while scheduling our appointment, knowing that the issue we were having was going to take a half a day or longer, nope! I’ve went back to the service dept to get an update on our vehicle and was told that it still hasn’t been looked at and they don’t know how long it will take. All he could tell us was that their guys were on lunch. So who knows if this vehicle is actually going to get looked at today or not. I am beyond disappointed in this place. The sales team is working hard to sell, but after the fact if you have to take vehicle in for issue, Yea they might as well say screw you. We just wanted your money.
Brought truck in for oil change and check engine light. Light had gone out before I could get it in. Oil change was done and they couldnt find anything out about service light. Still paid for it and oil change. Was oil change done? Couldnt put a sticker in windshield or reset oil life. Light came back on. We bought it back and was told about 72 hours before it could be looked at. You had about 5 service salesman sitting at the desk and no one could great me standing there. I watched someone ask my son to move his truck after he got out and was walking up to the counter. You only had one of 3 lanes open and cars in the others and that person needs to pull a car out. Get a porter to move cars. After watching that, being told 3 days before it could be looked at again and wondering if oil change was even done. I took the truck with me and will not be back. I am taking it somewhere else and having it checked to see if the oil change was done. They will also do the check engine light. If you want more information email me because you have my information. Feel free to publish this. RULE #1 IF YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER SOMEONE ELSE WILL !!!!!!!!
I had a great experience with Carl Black Kennesaw! The Service Advisor, Caleb Morgan, who assisted me was very knowledgeable about the issues I was experiencing with my vehicle and was very helpful and communicative throughout the process! I truly appreciated him giving me updates throughout the visit.
Id give 10 starts if I could. I will continue to go back and buy cars from Carl Black in Kennesaw. I have bought several cars in my lifetime, and this is by far the best dealership Ive ever worked with. I was greeted very quickly when I walked in by Emmanuel, and shortly thereafter by John, and did not feel like I was being taken advantage of, as a female, alone in the car buying process. I came in with understanding of what I wanted to do, how I wanted to do it, and they made it all possible. In full transparency, there was a pretty big hiccup along the way, but Emmanuel and John worked hard to make sure that it was taken care of and addressed and as convenient as possible for me. They were a dream team together, and I highly recommend the dealership to anybody in the market for a new vehicle. They genuinely treated me with the highest level of service, despite how picky I am over the smallest things. I couldnt be more appreciative of their service and help in getting me my new Tahoe. 10 stars across-the-board!!
I have had a wonderful experience from my Sales guy to the service department in the last week. They were able to find me exactly what I was looking for (on very SHORT notice) and then install the extras that I wanted. Thank you all! I will without a doubt recommend them to any and everyone looking for a new vehicle.
Sold car from me to someone else after l sent a picture of a cashiers check for 90k, and told them I was on the way from the bank. Brian was my salesperson and was very nice, helpful, and professional. Truly amazing person and salesman, but management gave me racist vibes and gave I saw hiw they gave him a hard time when he was trying to help me. Took my $90,000 dollars down the street to another dealer and ended buying my daughter a Mercedes truck from them as well.🤷🏽♀️
Overall the experience was Good. The only thing that concerned me and made me feel kinda taken advantage of was the price of the vehicle. When I built it and ordered it five months ago I was told it would be around $61,000 after tax I ended up spending 66k after all was said and done and that without extended warranties or financing it. The standards of the market is right now but I do feel like the amount of fees that were placed on though vehicle might’ve been a little much.Overall I’m 50-50 car salesman was good kept in touch with me and responded to my text messages in a timely manner.
Veterans stay away….I have never left a review in my life before because I never felt like the situation warranted it, but I couldn’t let this one go.Anyways here goes my personal experience with this dealership.I started looking to purchase a 2022 Chevy Tahoe and ended up calling this dealership to inquire about the vehicles i saw on their website on multiple occasions. I was told they would give me a call back each time I called if a vehicle comes in or becomes available. I have yet to receive a call from them letting me know if new inventory arrived, when I continuously see them updating their inventory on the website. However this did not stop me from going in there in person and chatting with a sales person and sales manager. They seemed to be wanting my business at that time which I appreciated. We found a vehicle that was in transit to the dealership that I wanted and we discussed details. This is where my disappointment came in. I mentioned to the sales manager (John) that I am a disabled veteran that qualifies for exemption of the sales tax. He then proceeds to tell me that they will add on the tax in the amount financed and would be doing the paperwork on the backend for a refund. However, that process is not the way this is supposed to work.I, the veteran would as a result pay interest on the tax. John acknowledged that fact but refused to conduct business with me unless I accept the taxes being financed and charged interest throughout the loan. Furthermore, they would not accept my pre approved check from navy federal the way it is as the dealership would have to do some legwork instead of me. So they wanted me to run back to the bank and take care of their responsibility as well. Admitting to me that it caused them a hassle. Navy federal has a standard procedure on buying a vehicle and I surely can’t be the first one that came into that dealership with a navy federal check and being a disabled veteran that earned being tax free. To me it felt like they didn’t need my business as it’s a sellers market right now and it would be easier selling it to someone else.I will remember the way this dealership conducted business with me or lack thereof for future purchases, in particular when the tables are flipped again and they need the customer instead. I guess my money wasn’t needed this time around and their customer service towards me certainly proved so.
Saturday was my very first time having my car serviced at this location. Initially, there was a gentleman that I approached and I was a bit flustered because I was unable to locate my appointment confirmation number via email and I don’t recall being assigned a specific service advisor when I made the appointment. He was asking questions about both and appeared impatient and in that moment I wasn’t feeling very welcomed (I didn’t catch his name). But then I met Michael Crabtree. It was if I had been coming for years. He was knowledgeable, friendly, PATIENT, engaging with not only me but my son (sports talk). I will definitely be returning for future service in hopes of Mr. Crabtree being able to assist me with services. Thank you.
So let start like this! I had an appointment on a Wednesday morning but it happens I had a day off on a Tuesday. I took my car on a Tuesday and the service center was so full but vehicle inspection was done so fast and everybody’s so attentive and engage with customer had me at ease and than I met Caleb Morgan who out of his was made me feel so comfortable, communicated everything that was done to my car and what needs to be done later very good care of my car
I can truley say I was happy with my Service. The Service Advisor Laurie is always nice and helpful...I have been going to this Dealership for Awhile now.But Today I Finally broke down and got my Charger outlet and My Door Switch Fixed to Unlock My Door from the inside. My door has been not unlocking properly for about 3 years now.The Car Charger Port has been out since I had the car over 10 years. Ago.It was so Exciting to FINALLY charge my Cell phone charge in it.I Did have to go too the Dealership 2 times to get it fixed. But I am so happy it is Finally fixed. Thanks so much for Always fixing my car.I will be back.
My husband and I came to this dealership to look at a truck. The salesman Ermari Ferguson was an absolute delight to work with. We did not feel pressured , rushed or hassled. He answered any and all questions we had. He was with us every step of the way and explained if there was any sort of wait. I will absolutely come back for another vehicle purchase!!
10/10 experience. Scott Sheridan, Alex Butler, and Tommy are all excellent guys! These guys seriously need a raise, they went above and beyond in helping me out, and are super kind and are genuinely welcoming individuals. I will for sure be telling my friends and family about this place!
I purchased my car, brand new, from this dealership, December 2015. My car has about 78k miles on it. I have kept my maintenance up to date and my car has only been serviced by this dealership. If you check my service history, you will see I have been here many times for issues with my car. I can’t say I have visited this dealership for repairs and the issue was solved on the first initial visit. It takes 2-3 visits before the technicians can figure out what is wrong with my car. It’s been one thing after another. The most recent, I had an oil leak, AGAIN, back in June. I had a massive oil leak in 2020. I brought my car back 4x in 2020 before they fixed the leak. When I had the issue this year, I mentioned to the technician this issue has been repaired before and he said it hadn’t been. I found my receipt from the Sept 2020 visit. It listed the same items for repair. They still assured me this leak was different. I was out of pocket over $2000 for this repair. My car still leaks and they have told me it’s just water and evaporation from the heat outside. I guess I have to wait until winter to see if my car still leaks. This month there is another issue. When my car is placed in park, I get a notification to “shift to park” and can’t turn the car off. This happens when it is parked. I had this same issue a few years after purchasing the car. They ended up having to replace the entire gear shaft. A car less than 2-3 years old. Now I am having the issue again. I called the dealership and was told twice that I never had this repair done previously. I later went to the chat online for a manager. The rep said the repair was never done but she would have the service manager, Terry, give me a call. Terry never called and delegated the issue to a service tech. The tech called and said he didn’t see the previous repair but to bring the car in and that it could be something as simple as a sensor. I went in and he found the invoice where the repair had been done but it was over two years old. After checking the car, turns out the gear shaft has to be replaced again, over $400 in repairs. I refuse to give another dime to this dealership. When I received the link to approve repairs, the pictures were of another vehicle, not my vehicle. I showed the service guy and he asked if I had another vehicle repaired there before. My answer was no. Have no faith in technicians at Carl Black Kennesaw. The car was purchased brand new and only used for me to go to work and home. Why am I having to replace the gear shaft twice? Either Chevrolet/ General Motors is selling cheap horrible cars or Carl Black service department has horrible technicians that can’t properly repair vehicles. It’s probably a bit of both but I’m going with the latter considering I keep coming back multiple times for the same repairs. I have been a loyal customer. Another employee stated he would have the service manger, Terry, call me. I never heard from Terry. Am I supposed to replace the gear shaft every 2-3 years. Sounds like a GM issue or recall. I am not the only person that has purchased the same year make and model vehicle from this dealership that had massive leaks and gear shaft problems. The oil leak for one person was so bad after purchasing a new car, they replaced her car. Now she’s having gear shaft problems. There needs to be a recall. I refuse to pay again for the same repairs over and over. Carl Black needs more experience mechanics. Jason Ellis normally assists me and he has been very nice when I come to the dealership but he also k owns the numerous times I have appeared. I have been extremely patient but I have now run out of patience. I plan to take more action on this matter.
Horrible experience at Carl Black Kennesaw today. Looking to buy a new Yukon Denali...salesperson met us in the parking lot and when we told him what we were looking for he took us in the showroom. He pointed towards some open tables and said sit anywhere, then he went to talk to his manager...big guy behind a glass partition. He walked out and said hes looking and then walked away to talk to another customer. The receptionist was at the desk with her head buried in her phone...the manager never came out and we were left all alone. After about 10 minutes, we got up and walked out...no one even tried to ask us what was wrong. Not the kind of service that inspires me to spend $80K plus with you. Wont be back. Also find it very interesting that CB only responses to positive reviews...nothing for the negative ones. #poorservice
For the most part, I was happy with the service as always, however, one thing that I didnt know prior to making my appt and up until it was complete, the service of an oil change includes a tire rotation. Well, I had just had my tires rotated that very morning at another place of business and the tire rotation done by Carl Black un-did that. It might be wise to state prior to the work being started that a tire rotation is included with an oil change. I now have to go back to the other place of business to get them reverted back.
My experience with the service writer has been excellent, however I have had my 2020 in there twice for the same problem and bringing it back in tomorrow the 9th for the same problem. The shop does not seem to be able to repair the shudder in the transmission. I am getting frustrated that they have not been able to repair it. The last 2 times I left it there for a week. I’m told it is fixed and when I drive it it’s not fixed. I basically am unable to drive my truck due to worry of it breaking down somewhere and definitely not able to pull my trailer and 4wheeler.
Took 2 days for my vehicle to be addressed when we even had an appointment that was made by phone. No offer for another vehicle to use in the meantime. Just leave it or reschedule being the only options. Technically the issue was addressed but now has another issue. There was always an excuse and never called back when trying to speak to our service attendant. Only would be addressed through text. Very disappointed in the service we received.
I purchased a vehicle in May ‘22. Documentations such as employment verification was extended which delayed my new license plate arrival. Poor notification of changed car note payment due date. Incorrect general client informations and sent important documentation to wrong address. This are things that the dealership should have streamline. It took weeks to verify my employment status with my managements assistance. I was told my car note due date was changed and extended, but financial department notified me that the due date was never changed and made me late for my first payment. This was my first time buying a car by myself and it has been trouble from beginning to end. DO NOT BUY FROM CHEVY ON THORTON RD GA.
The need to aquire an additional vehicle created unanticipated levels of stress for me. I had endured a couple of horrible days. From the moment I made contact with the staff at Carl Black everyone was very patient, professional and extremely kind to me.Cute story: It had not rained all day and the car had just been cleaned for delivery. As soon as we finished with the paperwork we stepped outside to approach the car; a few raindrops started. Those few raindrops quickly escalated into a full-blown downpour. I took the long ride home in my BRAND NEW VEHICLE in the storming rain. A special blessing from God...right ?Special thanks to Claire Trout, Rajea the manager, Stephen DeCastro and Jeff Fuller, for giving me an outstanding, no haggle, vehicle buying experience.I am a very satisfied customer of Carl Black Chevrolet Kennesaw.
I purchased a truck from them a few months ago. It was a preowned Ram Truck. When we were signing papers they mentioned I had some free complimentary oil changes. I call to schedule one and the service dept tells me I purchased a maint plan which I did not purchase. I live 30 miles away and would not want to drive that far for service when there is a Dodge dealership in my town unless it was free with the purchase. I figured well its paid for now so Im not going to make a fuss about it and just use the service plan and make the drive. I call to schedule a service and they tell me that I cant use the normal service dept I have to use the fleet dept due to my truck being a 2500. This was never disclosed because I never agreed to it. I call on 4/9/22 to schedule and come in on 4/22. They still do not have my oil or filter. I go to the finance manager and she shows me where I purchased it in their computer. It was labeled OTHER fee. Not Maint Plan. Carl Black is hiding that fee and tricking people into buying a maint plan. This should be considered fraud or theft by deception. Not only was I tricked into buying it, it also isnt worth the paper its printed on if they cant get an oil filter in 14 days. I will never go into Carl Black again and I will encourage every person I know to never use Carl Black again!!!!
Had one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had at Carl Black Kennesaw. Sean was very knowledgeable and informative. Appreciate all the help you guys have given me over the years and would highly recommend Sean at Carl Black Kennesaw for any minor/major repairs or service.
Paid for tire rotation didnt rotate tires. Said they would fill up windshield fluid they did not. They dont understand the recall on the chevy bolt. They told us we dont need a battery replacement that they did a software update and we could use the full battery again. The software update limits the usage not increase. According to the information provided directly from chevy the software update is only needed until the battery is replaced. According to these clowns we dont need a battery so we are stuck only using a percentage of ours.
I called the dealership on Thursday to make an appointment. I was told if I arrived by 8:00 I should be in and out without an appointment. I arrived at 7:30 for mu oil change. When I checked in I was told it would be between 10-10:30 for the car to be ready to go. So I waited. Well, that was an untruth! It was 1:00pm before my car was complete. Unacceptable!
Over scheduled service department. The dealership service department called me weeks out to schedule installation of a truck bed cover (estimated install time 50 minutes per their website). I arrived early to check in and get told it will be probably 3-4 hours before my truck is ready only after showing up and not having a plan for pickup as that is not the expectation set by the scheduler. What is the point of the dealership making a time specific appointment early in the morning if the dealership cannot meet their own scheduling. I heard this complaint from multiple other customers after they arrived and were in the waiting room surprised that their routine initial oil change would not be done until 2-3 hours from their arrival. Arrived at 9:10 informed truck was ready at 12:10. After pickup of truck the service group left trash from the packaging in the bed of the truck which I had to finish cleaning when I got home.
It incredibly disappointing that a dealership will not service my vehicle. Ive been a loyal GM customer for over 50 years, I take care of my vehicles, and Im proud to drive them. But when I need service, especially when Im stranded, I cant get any help illustrates why American manufacturers loose to foreign companies. If you are considering a GM vehicle, or consider this dealership look elsewhere.
Changed from 5 start to 1 star. PurchaseInbound Trailboss early January. Did not receive my truck until Mid March after making 2 payments. I was told the truck was ready but having transportation issues. I think it was chip problem. No floor mats. Told I would have them in a few days and promised accessories for the inconvenience. May 3rd still no floor mats or accessories and the manager Mike Zimmerman is avoiding my calls.
I purchased my truck (Chuck the Truck) used from Carl Black Kennesaw 15 years ago. The purchase experience was wonderful, and 15 years of ownership has been even better. Im about to hit 300,000 relatively trouble free miles and this truck has definitely earned the title Professional Grade. Other than regular maintenance there have been very few problems. Original drive-train, original AC, a couple of brake jobs, and maybe 4 sets of tires and it still looks and runs almost as well as the day I drove it off the lot. Thanks Carl Black, if this one ever wears out, Ill be back!
I have owned GM vehicles for several years and Carl Black’s GMC dealer service has all the other service departments beat HANDS DOWN, including local Cadillac and Chevrolet service departments. My experience was a DELIGHT in these times of “Customer NO-Service”. I had no appointment but Jason Ellis fit me in to have a recently purchased SUV diagnosed for some issues. Although the parts to repair needed to be ordered Jason took care of that and worked with the seller’s warranty outfit with no assistance required by me. A diagnosis was delivered that day and a promise to contact me when the necessary parts arrived was fulfilled within a couple of days.I was late for an early morning appointment to perform necessary repairs but work began within minutes of my arrival. The amazing thing that happened was that while waiting at my service advisor’s station, ANOTHER advisor asked me if they could help me with something. This was a pleasant change from being summarily ignored by service advisors at Cadillac and other Chevrolet dealers while waiting to request service.
Very disappointed with how my sale was handled, and not by the salesman who was a perfect professional. I have never been so close to making such a large purchase where the manager actually talked me out of the sale. The salesman talked me into a truck I had no interest in when I walked on their lot but when talking price/features everything fell apart. The manager gave me the feeling I was an inconvenience more than a customer, especially after finding out I was approved from my bank and would not be financing through them. If only management had the same commitment to customer service as their sales people there would be one less truck on their lot and I could have been a satisfied customer for years/vehicles to come.
Brought my car in because the regular guy who works on my car told me to bring it in when I asked about my issue and the recall. Ill never bring my car there for servicing again. Service guy was condescending and just wanted money out of me. Lied about I needed to be charged to check a recall. The paperwork even said of no issue, no charge. Then told me I needed work on the part that was checked, the PVC. But the money he made me pay wouldnt go towards the service cost for it. Car is gonna be paid off soon, wont be going there for a new car. Was gonna say, guess if I was a man Id have been treated better. But looks like theyre just equal opportunity at providing horrible service
The service was fine once we got it scheduled. I scheduled the original appointment online and I have a 3500 sierra Danali which means it has to be worked on at the commercial truck service center my appointment was made for the wrong department even though I filled out all my information and should have been scheduled for the appropriate location. I had taken off from work to bring it in only to be turned away and was not offered any kind of discounts on what I was having done felt like it was Carl Blacks fault something could have been done. I’m in construction and when I take off I do not get paid.
Nick Degelorm was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, welcoming and straightforward. I gave up on buying new due to delays so came to check out used, he hooked me up with a new 22 Yukon XL (just delivered and the only one they had) that checked all the boxes and even set up all the features for me! His service is way better than his sense of humor! Just kidding!I highly recommend Carl Black!
Brett was extremely helpful and showed me the availability of trucks on the lot and what was being delivered to the lot. He also explained that I could spec my desired truck on the internet and it would b ordered for me. He, then, helped me determine if my vehicle would b paid off as a trade in or if I would b short the $.He was knowledgeable, personable, and kind. I appreciated him understanding that I would need to wait several months until I was ready to “purchase”.Thank you Brett
Friendly clean environment. Great service. I have to bring it back to get the tires rotated as a part of the new car maintenance package but whatever.. the car really didnt have enough miles on it in my opinion to warrant an oil change just yet, but to get me off the list I went ahead.
First and foremost I want to give a huge shoutout to Pablo Avila ( Sales Representative ) at Carl Black GMC Kennesaw. He made my husband and I’s first time car purchase experience very wonderful. We had been to several dealerships searching for my dream 2022 Yukon Denali, and finally found it at this dealership. Pablo made sure to provide us with all of the details, specifics, and features of the vehicle. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable, funny, kind and professional. We didn’t feel pressured throughout the whole process. We literally were in and out in less than 2 hours. And Pablo brought my new Yukon home to me that same night. Carl Black GMC gave us an outstanding price with no ridiculous markups. Thank you for such an outstanding experience! I will definitely recommend Pablo and the team at Carl Black for any future purchases.
I must say, we bought a pre-owned 2019 F350 Super Duty Platinum 6.7l diesel there. The price online was what they honored. It was a good deal and a really nice truck. Carl Black stands behind every deal. We had a problem with the steering gear box a few days after purchasing this vehicle AS-IS. I called to see if they would help. They dropped everything and sent a tow truck to pick up my f350. They took the vehicle and fixed the issue NO CHARGE! I cant complain, I got a good deal, they made sire the vehicle would be safe for us, they didnt hassle me at all! This is customer service at its finest. Nick was an awesome and professional salesman, Micheal Zimmerman was always to the point and straight forward, Kevin the service advisor in the commercial diesel service shop was always in communication and professional. This dealership has good people working in it and arent trying to steal which is extremely hard to find these days.
Very Veteran Unfriendly, Changes Prices, Rude and Makes You Sign Blank Paperwork!Vets and all customers beware! Bought a truck that I built and ordered. After it was built was given a final price that included all taxes, fees and dealer charges and the truck was delivered in a few weeks. Price increased over $1,000 during delivery and all they say is prices increased with no details. I had to argue quite a bit and have pictures of the 2 different amounts. They also refuse to accept the GMC Veterans Discount PIN after getting approved as well as supplier discount PINs. USAA uses a voucher to make life easy for people buying vehicles and the dealer and bank are supposed to take all the funding on the back end. Carl Black refuses to accept USAA Financing. The completely rude finance manager said ”I am not taking that! You can’t have the truck until you put a check or cash in my hand!” and he got up and left his office. Very unprofessional employees! They knew I had my own financing through USAA but waited until the final moment to pull this stunt. While finally signing all the paperwork on the last visit I was forced to sign blank paperwork including the application for title. Picture posted. When I refused, they told me I can’t have the truck. I have been waiting months for this truck and decided to take pics and sign. I followed up with the GA Department of Revenue and yes this is 100% illegal. Its pretty ironic that a company that has major Veterans Day celebrations flying huge American Flags will not work with Veterans and make everything so difficult and do not honor GMC PINs for Veterans or supplier discounts. Just stay away, I bought an extended warranty from another nearby dealership because I will not give Carl Black any money. They will never see any of my GM vehicles again, for anything at all. They do not care about customers, no details on order process and they don’t even know how it works, A quick google, and I figured it out but they should let customers know. I got all my own updates because Dealer just said I don’t know they don’t tell us anything until its delivered. I just cant believe how rude the Finance Managers were in this dealership. I have noticed an attorney on the paperwork, I am writing to all nearby American Legion and VFW posts to caution them and am also following up with BBB and GMC.
Whatever you do don’t purchase any new vehicles at this location my elderly in law family got the car of there dreams a encore Gx 2022 and you would think 🤔 brand new won’t have any car issues for several years, Well guess again they were back in the shop 2 weeks later with major electrical issues. Due to short staff and not having the correct part and it was on back order the car ended up in the shop for whole 1 month. The dealership stated they did several tests drove it x amount miles and did Thorough diagnostic. We received the Encore back from the shop and after 8 days the entire vehicle from the electrical, engine and even stopping the car was challenge extremely dangerous for elderly couple. Not sure how management is running this location but it truly shows there level of concern after your purchase a brand new car from Carl black Chevrolet Buick gmc🤔 there isn’t really a excuse for this type of unprofessionalism with this business regardless of the short staff, low inventory and to top it off not having enough rentals for this Recurring major issue. The best thing management said they will offer to appraise the car see what they can give them are you serious 🧐! I need corporate to follow up with this recurring matter on there new inventory 2022 models and how management at location handling customers and handle this the correct way immediately.
I first started my interaction with the dealership online. I had made inquiries about a truck with no response. After waiting several days I asked if a truck I was interested in was available, they said it was. I drove to the dealership and took a look at it. They informed me that they had the truck but it was set aside for body work from being scratched in the transportation process. I then asked if the truck was being sold at MSRP or if not was marked up. I was then told yes but no. Yes it was at MSRP but marked up for dealer add ons. The dealer add ons were paint protection, wheel locks, and etc. The truck sat as is from unloading from transportation, I then asked if the paint protection was already added and the sales person assured me it was. However, before hand he had stated the truck was due for paint because it was delivered with scratches to the bare from delivery. So the 1800-2000 for dealer add on that I was quoted were not actually done but would be charged with no negotiation. I stated that I would not pay over MSRP and n they had no problem letting me go. I would also like to state that I have/had a trade worth more than 10k over the vehicle at interest. When leaving then “sales manager” came out to great me and I stated the same information about the price. He then said ok have a great day. My point is, they lied about dealer add ons and wanted to upcharge regardless. I was lied to directly to my face. What scumbags!
Awful communication- vehicle dropped off Thursday 1 PM for brake service- No calls made at all on Friday. Didn’t hear anything until 5-5:30pm and it was a text. Never got a call with an explanation of what’s needed.I was without a vehicle for 2 days over a brake service that was scheduled over a week before.
Carl Black gave me the best service I could hope for. There was no pushy sales person. The sales person I used was awesome and made the purchase of my new truck amazing. He made several suggestions to help me choose the right truck I wanted to get. The staff was friendly and everyone was very professional. This photo is a stock photo of my new 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT due to having my actual truck at the 4WD shop getting a 6 lift, new tires, grill guard, and back rack installed. I will definitely be returning to Carl Black in the very near future to purchase my Yukon Denali from them when the time is right. Great dealership and 5 stars. Thanks Carl Black GMC!!!
I’ve bought several vehicles over the years at Carl Black and I highly recommend them. If you want first class service see Louis!! I’ve also had great service experience at their truck shop with Steve. Steve even called back to check on how things were going with the vehicle. Much appreciated. I’ll be buying again from Carl Black.
My last 5 vehicles have been from Carl Black. I keep going back because I know they will be transparent on pricing. So when the lease on my 2017 Buick Regal was ending I thought about going outside the GM family of vehicles. I had been doing my homework and had narrowed down my choice to a couple of vehicles, one of them being the Chevy Blazer. Because of my previous experience with Carl Black I knew I could get the bare bones price and that’s why I decided to stay with GM and Carl Black, rather than starting from scratch with a new dealer. Thanks to Randy Erwin and Richard Priester.
Carl Black is in my opinion the only place to go to buy a truck! Love my GMC Sierra that I bought from Louis in Sales. The sales consultants are very knowledgeable and professional. They knew more about the truck than I did and that’s saying something. Thanks for the truck and keep up the good work!
Had a really great experience today at Carl Black. While they did not have the truck I wanted in stock, they did have the perfect truck at one of their other stores. My salesperson, Meagan, was beyond exceptional and really went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted. She was pleasant, genuine, and very trustworthy. Sapphire, in the business office made that part of the process a piece of cake. I left having a great experience and feeling very happy with the deal. Extremely fair trade in and great price on the new truck. Cant wait to take delivery of my new truck on Thursday. Definitely a great experience.
Michael Sixel has been my salesman for two vehicle purchases and always helps me quickly and professionally. He will be my go to for as long as he chooses to work in the dealership.Kenny Black 😊Update!!!!!! Michael Sixel has now helped us reach six vehicle purchases and as always with help from Sapphire in finance I have watched our interest lower each time and our quality of service improve. 4/3/22
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever had hand down. Called 4 times last week into service department was told they would call me back. Never received a call back from anyone, now they are answering and telling me I have to wait over a week. Kevin in service said oh sorry I was on vacation. That does not fixed the lack of customer service and responsiveness they lack. They are real quick to respond when you purchase and 70k truck but after that no one cares. Will never purchase anything from them again nor will i ever recommend any one do the same.
I will start by saying I was not happy in the least that I was not provided with a rental car for a warranty repair on a vehicle with 31K miles on it. I was so displeased, that I actually pulled up a rival dealerships website and started looking at a new car to purchase. Now that that is out of the way, there is one and only one reason I did not follow through. That would be Caleb Morgan, my service advisor. He was polite, patient, understanding, and professional. He explained the situation with rental cars and the current shortage due to the lack of microchips. If it werent for him, my business would have gone back to Days Chevrolet. You have a solid employee with Caleb and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves.
I had an appointment for an oil change. After waiting 2 hours, I went to the service desk to see how much longer. I was told they were short staffed, but they were having a holiday luncheon and we saw between 20-30 mechanics come in to eat. Also I was told that they were finishing paper work and it was ready. Then 10 minutes later I was told it was still on the rack in the air. This was my cars first oil change and I will have to think about ever coming back to Carl Black for service. Ridiculously long wait and lied to more than once.
I purchased a red 2017 Chevrolet Camaro from here a little over a year ago. Though it took almost all day, it was a good experience. The team was friendly and very knowledgeable. The sales people worked with me and I felt like I got a great deal. Especially compared to my friends who went elsewhere. My trips to service have also been super smooth. One annoying thing is that they are almost always super busy at service, but I think they do a good job at getting you in and out. I always recommend anyone looking for a Chevy, look here first.
I appreciated being able to have my vehicle serviced as a walk in. However, I was not satisfied with the fact that the service advisor tried to up charge me. The initial price I signed for the work to be done was not the final price I paid. The advisor charged me for the maximum oil change price although my car fell within the second tier oil change. Once I made him aware, he adjusted the price but still not to the initial price. Additionally, my coupon discount was not applied.I don’t plan to return for service or recommend anyone as I did not like being up charged.
I’ve always been going for an oil change or vehicle inspection, but since my most recent visit to the dealership, I have been very disappointed in the service the technician provided! The technician number is # 1851David Pufnock, the person in charge of setting up the service, charged me $ 90! to inspect the door locks even though I told him what the problem was.My door locks were not working due to loose wire! After the inspection, he told me that the technician was recommending a complete replacement of the door lock. And also that the lock on the door was burned out and not working. the labor alone was $ 300 plus the $ 30 portion.I definitely refused as it was so strange to me how the heck a 40k vehicle bought from that specific dealership starts to have issues like a door lock burning out.I decided to do it myself, I purchased the necessary tools, took it apart, and I was right! It was not well plugged in! I managed and I’ll bet you that the technician never even inspected the problem! since if he did, door will be fixed haha!, i got totally scammed. I am definitely disappointed with the service and the dealer. Ill never come back! What a scam.
My car broke down on a Thursday and we had it towed to the dealership. We were told that they wouldnt be able to look at it till Tuesday, which we understood because it was a holiday weekend. On Tuesday we got a call saying that they were going to start diagnostics on the car and they would give us a call later that day with what they find, we never got a call back that day. We tried calling two times to get an update and were told a message would be given to the service department to call us and we never received a call back. On Wednesday we still hadnt gotten a call back or heard anything from the service department about the car and we again tried calling with no call back. Finally, on Wednesday evening we got a call with what they found and what would need to be done to fix it and that they would be getting the parts the next day, Thursday, and it would be done Thursday afternoon. On Thursday by the afternoon we hadnt heard anything from them again and so tried calling and again were told a message would be sent to the service department to call us, which of course never happened. Finally, on Friday we got a call saying the car was ready and had been ready Thursday but they forgot to call us or the main guy wasnt in so the other people didnt know to call us or some ridiculous excuse. So we were without my car for over a week and I have a new baby so this was super inconvenient. On top of that inconvenience the lack of communication and not being able to easily contact the people working on our car was also a huge problem. I do not think we will be using Carl Black for anything in the future.
First, I must talk about the red carpet treatment of my incredible sale rep Rodney who not only has the most wonderful personality, he took his time to make sure I knew how to use all the many options of the car, he took the time to install a car seat and set up my Bluetooth!Expect to be greeted immediately upon your arrival and frequently by the staff. Enjoy the relaxed welcoming environment where the staff looks fabulous in their shorts (summer visit) and can bring their dogs to work if desired.Joe in finance is very personable. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted in my purchase and was fair as we negotiated the price. I never thought Id say this about someone at a dealership, but Joe and Rodney earned my trust. I will definitely be returning to this dealership when it is time to purchase a new vehicle for my husband.
My wife has always wanted a Chevrolet Tahoe. When we walked into Carl Black we were met by Emmanuel Elder, who was very polite and understanding. We didn’t make a decision right there and continued shopping around at other dealerships. My wife and I agreed to go back to Carl black all because of how we were treated by Emmanuel. Last night we bought my wife her dream car and could not be more happy with the salesman who sold it to us. Please ask for Emmanuel if you ever visit Carl black in Kennesaw.
I hate buying cars, I mean seriously who does?? But my experience with Brett and Stephen has been so great. It’s reassuring to hear how proud they are of the reputation this dealership has and how they are willing to go out of their way for me to feel good about my purchase even AFTER I drove the car off the lot- especially Stephen.
Sean Foster was absolutely stellar. Being one of the unfortunate customers to experience lifter issues with my new Trail Boss he was able to calm the storm and provide exceptional customer services in a very difficult time for me. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my concerns addressed. Thank you Sean for all you did for me and thank you Carl Black Chevrolet for employing such and exceptional employee.
DO NOT recommend this dealership. I paid for a brand new 2021 box truck but got a truck loaded with problems. Dealership wasn’t capable of fixing all the problems, even after 3 attempts and 38 days at the shop. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. They will definitely sell you a car loaded with problems and not care at all after you sign the contract.
We were traveling back from Florida and woke up in the morning at a local hotel to find the tire on our vehicle going flat. We stopped in at the dealership right at 8. They got us right in, found the nail and plugged the tire. It was a Ford (my mother-in-laws car, I am a GM guy), they also notified us of a recall on the vehicle. They did all this for no charge and in less than an hour. We had 10 more hours home, so you can obviously see how much we appreciated everything. You local folks are so lucky to have such a great dealer there! If I lived in the greater Atlanta area, that would be my place for my next purchase. Special thanks to Patrick at the service desk. Great person and great with customers. thanks again!!
The people were very nice it was very clean a nice waiting area that was very clean plenty of water coffee tea but a snack machine I think would have been just a little bit better because youre waiting for hours but I dont know I give it a 10 when you have an appointment and you pull up it takes about 20-30 minutes for somebody to acknowledge that youre there and you dont know which desk to go to theres people there people here people there but you dont know which one oil change this I dont know but they wont even speak to you until theyre done with everybody else
My 2016 Buick Cascada was serviced on Aug 5. Jason Ellis, Service Advisor, promptly took care of the repair items. One of the parts was shipped damaged. so I had to wait until Monday for service to be completed. Jason communicated all the information to me. I have been bringing my car to Carl Black since 2016 and they have always provided excellent customer service. I also got a car wash!!
I have bought and sold vehicles from Carl Black for many a years and have worked with Caleb almost 100% of the time when it comes to servicing the vehicles. Caleb is an amazing employee and has always helped get me in and out while also making sure everything is taken care of that needs to be. Caleb was able to squeeze me in to yalls tight schedule and get my car taken care of much sooner than anticipated.
I spoke to someone on the phone who was quite rude and unhelpful to me when my battery (u see warranty died). When I got to the dealership, Mr. Andre was excellent and helped me so very much. He made sure I was taken care of and even made sure my services were complete that were due. He also called me when my car was assessed and when it was complete. Thank you so much Mr. Andre
Service at Carl Black Chevrolet GMC is amazing! We drive past 3 dealerships to go here because of the service we get. We went to another dealership for service for years but switched over to Carl Black because of Jason Ellis. He has gone above and beyond for us over and over to make sure we get the best deal and to check warranties before charging us for anything. He is responsive to calls and texts and even though they stay busy, they get you in and out in no time!
Shady Rep. Played many games. I asked straight questions about rebates and he kept changing the story. Would not provide a written quote breakdown of fees and accessories and told me to go to website. Bad customer service. This is my second car from Carl Black. My experience a year ago was much more satisfactory. Stay away as the quality of sales reps have clearly gone down.
Laurie Majors always takes care of me. She did explain there was only 2 techs and it could take up to 2 hours, no problem. Spoke with Mike about a referral from 4 months back should have a check in the mail within a couple of weeks.Internet lady through your site is how I set up my appointment. I was going in for oil change & wipers (coupon sent via email) the lady never told me I couldnt use both coupons. Now I have to go back for my new wipers for $2.00.
I had to replace my current car after being sideswiped by another driver and my car was totaled. After looking online I chose to visit Carl Black Buick in Kennesaw after searching online at several dealerships. I had spoken to a sales rep and told him what I wanted and the safety features I was wanting. The salesman gave me a quote which sounded reasonable. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by a sales rep who gave me a whirlwind description of safety the features and left me sitting in then lobby for 45 minutes waiting on paper work to be filled out. After a very long wait in the lobby I was called into an office to fill out paperwork. After filling out the paperwork I was told again to go sit in the lobby and wait for someone else who would take my payment. Again, a long wait. After finalizing all the paperwork and paying I was handed my keys and sent on my way knowing nearly nothing about how to use the safety features I wanted on the car. Most of the features I was told I had was on the car but some were not. I was supposed to have an auto open latch on the hatchback which I dont have. Also, I found a huge wrench in my glove box that I have no clue what it is for. Maybe it is because It was late in then evening when I arrived at the dealership but they encouraged me to come on in when I called. I was given a generic manual containing things that I dont have on the car. I think when you spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle you should be able to get a manual of things that come on the car you are buying and not numerous pages of thing you dont have. I doubt this is the dealers fault but it would be nice to have and with the ease of computer access now seems it should be pretty easy to print out the features the car you are buying has.
Absolutely incredible experience. My husband, 3 children and myself were on our way to Panama City Beach when we heard strange noises coming from my Yukon’s motor & my check engine light was flashing. We were terrified to drive any further, but we found the closest Chevy dealership and were there at 7:30 AM. Andre greeted us and helped us immediately! A tech came out and looked at our car within an hour and they gave us an estimate. We agreed & they started working on it right away. While we did have to sit in a waiting area with 3 kids and no way to leave for 8 hours, they still finished everything for us the same day and we were back on the road by 4:30!! Incredible customer service from Andre & our tech both, everyone kept us up to date with everything throughout the entire process. While they didn’t have any loaner vehicles available (all were already being used & it was the Friday before Memorial Day) they offered a shuttle to takes us where we needed to. They even sent us off with some engine coolant. I could not speak more praises about this place. I only wish they weren’t 3.5 hours away from home because I would bring my Yukon back each and every time I had any problems with it.
I have bought my last 6 vehicles from Carl Black. I keep coming back because Ive been impressed with every phase of their business. David Swanson was great to work with and he kept me updated as we waited for my truck to arrive. Keep up the good work.Tim Cowan-Marietta
Ermari was an excellent sales person, my other Silverado was in for service, I was curious what my truck was worth. Ermari called with a value that was to my liking, he asked what I was looking for. He called me back within 20 minutes with the truck I wanted, the color I wanted. Asked me for my information needed and set the whole purchasing of the truck so when I showed up all I had to do was sign the paper work. In todays sales market to have some listen to what you want, respond back in a timely manner with exactly what I wanted, is almost unheard of. I would recommend him to any of my friends, family or coworkers. Excellent job Ermari I will be back.Frank Bennett
We met with Emanuel one night and we’re not able to secure the vehicle. On his off day he came in to work, contacted me, kept me informed, and made every attempt to work with me and the banks identified. He did all of this with a smile on his face, and had my best interest at heart. Him and the manager did everything in there power to try and make sure I could get approved and into a new vehicle. I have been praying for Tahoe for some time now and though I still have not obtained one, I am grateful Emmanuel helped out. Thanks Emmanuel!
Jason was a great service advisor. I would recommend him to anyone who is getting service done on their vehicle with your dealership. I didnt have an appointment and they got me in and out in under 3 hours for an accessory belt change. The part had to be delivered from the warehouse and they still got it done asap! No issues whatsoever.
Top-tier service! The Service Team at Carl Black in Kennesaw goes above & beyond EVERY TIME! Huge thanks to Laurie (my girl) for taking care of my baby Buick Encore by commuicating daily, superbly reparing my vehicle and making me feel like a total VIP! Your team puts all other dealers and mechanics to shame. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!!!
Please don’t ever buy a Chevy. I bought NEW a 2019 Chevy trail boss. They gave me a 60,000 mile warranty for the powertrain. At 67,000 transmission blew. GM refuses to help. Do some research before you buy from Chevy or any company. 35% of customer reviews have had the same issue I have with my truck. Class action lawsuit is pending.
Salesman was very nice, but the extra products took longer to install than when initially promised. Team could be aligned better to deliver vehicle in a more timely fashion. Everyone was respectful and courteous. The G.M. was able to offer a solution for the missed dates of delivery, so in the end, we were satisfied customers. The Chevy truck that we purchased looks great and performs well.
Made appt. for 9am arrived few minutes early. Had asked for rental car and car wash along with oil change and 15k mile service. I have 6 coupons for free rental, 3 coupons for free car wash which I purchased under the driver plus program along with the Platinum warranty. Rental car not available even though I made appointment weeks in advance I was told I was 17th on the list, truck did not get washed ( the service mgr. did text me and said he forgot to send to wash bay) I had figured that out when I got to the truck and the bird mess was still on my hood and door but figured they were too busy for that. The service mgr. did apologize for the car wash. The oil change and recall and 15k check up did not take very long.I paid $500 for driver plus program and feel like I should get a refund because you are selling a service you can’t provide when needed. I have to drive 60 miles round trip to your dealership for an oil change apparently!Definitely considering other options in the future.
In coming in yesterday, every single person that I came in contact with was so incredibly nice and helpful. They wanted to make sure that I was happy and comfortable. They answered all my questions. It has been a very emotional time and they were very understanding of that. I will be back to buy ALL of our future cars with Carl Black. I could go on and on about the customer service I received yesterday from everyone including Louis, Nick, Sapphire and Joe. Thank you all. You will never know how much it means!
Never would I ever buy a car from Carl Black. This is the second time I have been in the market for a car and the sales reps are less than desirable. The rep is all about wanting me to take a test drive, but when it came time for negotiations my husband and I were left waiting for at least 15 minutes. He told us he was going to speak to his manager, only to find him speaking to another customer. We approached him to get our own car keys back, as they were being held hostage, and he told us Ill be right with you. You are kidding right? We asked for our keys, he then stormed off with quite the rudeness. We may not have been able to buy a car today, but I will be in the market in the near future. When I am, Carl Black is not where I am going. Nope. And I will be sure to tell all my friends.
Dropping off was fine but communication while you had my car was poor. I had to reach out to ask what the tech found and then again to ask if it was fixed. Then when I showed up to pick up my car no one acknowledged I was there. I waited probably 20 min just standing there for someone to at least acknowledge the fact that I was there. I know the reps were busy but a customer should always be acknowledged. Finally I was helped and that went smoothly and quickly, except I wasn’t told where they would be bringing my car so had to figure that out on my own as no one said they will be pulling your car up to this door.
Sean in service took care of getting my car into the service schedule as quickly as possible........Just 2 days after diagnosing the problem. This was based on my schedule. work was completed while I waited........about 2 to 3 hours. Price was pretty standard. I am highly rating Carl Blacks service department. Planning to have more work done there soon!!!!!!
My Service Advisor was Jose Mendez and he was fantastic to work with. He kept me aware of my vehicle needs and was able to explain the process of the repairs. He is an asset to the Carl Black Service Department which hopefully others on the team will learn from in dealing with their customers service needs.
I love this place. I have purchased 3 vehicles at the Kennesaw location. If you are in the market definitely ask for Alex Garcia, he sold me all 3 vehicles. Alex knows his stuff. He has great customer services skills and he is quick to get you in and out and enjoying the new sweet ride.
After finding out that my dealership no longer provides service repairs on the weekends I decided to try my luck and have my first experience with Carl Black. I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to replace my headlight and get an oil change. After arriving on time to my appointment I was checked in and directed to the waiting room. After an hour of waiting I was informed they no longer have the bulbs to replace the headlights in stock and that I needed new brake pads. After being disappointed that the company knew they had an appointment coming in that they couldn’t provide service for I hesitantly agreed to the new brake pads. 5 HOURS later my car was returned to me with new oil and brake pads. This company seems to overbook their days in order to make as much money as possible providing extremely slow service. I would not recommend to anyone for any reason.
I had an AWESOME experience at Carl Black Kennesaw! Nick, with the sales team, worked with me to get me the SUV of my dreams! It has everything I was looking for and more! When you walk in, you feel welcomed; its truly a great atmosphere and outstanding service. Once I found the exact vehicle I wanted, Jeff in financing made the buying process smooth and seamless. Special thank you to Joe is sales! Seriously, if youre looking for great vehicles, spectacular service and terrific deals, do yourself a favor and go to Carl Black Kennesaw! Thank you so much!!
I used the dealership because my regular mechanics told me they couldnt deal with the warning lights being illuminated. I always hate dealing with dealerships for repairs but I moved forward. Tom Jones, my Service Rep was tremendous. Friendly and supportive. The use of technology to see the video of what Keith saw with regards to my vehicle and his explanations of the problem was first class. Having the opportunity to go through the laundry list of issues? without pressure and electronically was also welcomed. The list should remain for further reference in the text messages. I knew going in I would be ripped off by dealership pricing and going to my local mechanics after the fact has proven this fact. Im thankful for the service provided by every associate of Carl Black, especially those in the car wash area. When my negligence forces me to go to a dealer, I know Im FUBAR. Thank you to to the Carl Black Team. To all, stay healthy, safe and wear the damn mask.
Justin was literally the best salesperson weve ever dealt with. He did a great job building a relationship with us to understand us and our vehicle needs. And Louis was a great manager, getting us a great deal on our lease. Once we signed on the dotted line, the great customer service didnt end. Justin spent well over an hour helping us set up our new vehicle and made sure it was EXACTLY as we needed it to be before before we drove off the lot. This is our second vehicle weve gotten with Carl Black and 10/10 would recommend.
I called yesterday about purchasing a new 2021 3500 Denali dually they had on their lot, a woman by the name of Sharron answered the phone and seemed very helpful and said she would send pictures right over, and talked about pricing my trade. She never returned my call, and when I called back she said that she wouldn’t do business over the phone. I was trying to put a deposit on the truck before I drove 3 hours to find out it had already been sold. So I ask to talk to a sales manager. She then refused to let me speak with anyone besides her. After she waisted 3 hours of my time trying to purchase a truck from y’all. After dealing with “sharron” multiple times yesterday I wouldn’t purchase a user Kia from this dealership. So I proceeded to call another dealer 45 min from my house. Purchased over the phone yesterday and went and picked it up this morning. Y’all just lost out on a 85,000 dollar sale.
I have been purchasing cars from Carl Black for over 20 plus years. They are professional, honest and go the extra mile. Matt Gill does a fabulous job in the service department. Also, really appreciate Louis (general sales manager) attention to detail and caring manner. This is the only car dealership I will purchase vehicles from. First class from beginning to end. Keep up the great work!
Matt Gill and the tech that worked on my traverse kept me up to date the whole way through! I couldnt have asked for better customer service. I would highly recommend anyone to buy from this dealership. I will definitely be coming here again for service and our next vehicle.
First the check in took me to over 10 minutes. There were various employees standing around not helping individuals check in. Second I was “Recommended” to have over $3,500 worth of service to be done. Most people of the “Recommendation” were not needed at all and were just make money for you. Third, it took over 20 minutes for me to get my car once I arrived to nick it up. You had ONLY ONE person checking folks in and out. I will NEVER bring my car to you. I don’t trust your service department nor your sales department. I still don’t have my second key fob that the previous owner gave you. You want me to pay for another fob and that is wrong.
I had the best service experience with service consultant Jason Ellis who made my vehicle service experience the BEST Ive had. What could of been a very, very expensive venture for me turned into a very affordable and pleasant venture due to Jasons willingness to research my extended warranty and keep me informed every step of the way. Thanks to him for making my month!
Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance, dropped my Yukon off at 8am on the scheduled date and was told it would be done by 3pm and that I would receive a call when it was complete. I never got a call, so I called and the lady on the phone said someone would call me back shortly. That did not happen. I showed up around 5:30 to pick it up, only to be told they forgot about it and nothing was done to it, and if I could leave it there for a couple more days they should be able to get to it. I have used Carl Black for the last 3 years with all 3 of my GM vehicles. I will not be returning.
Sales associate William was very polite and helpful. Sapphire in finance was not. Two days after purchase I called to cancel extended warranty. She did not process request. I called two weeks later and spoke to the manager and got another run around. When I called an additional 2 weeks later, I was left on hold approximately 15 minutes. After inquiries about the status of canceled warranty, I found it hadnt been processed. She finally asked specific questions so it would be canceled. I will be checking back to make sure its processed correctly. I dont trust Sapphire.
Andre was the customer service representative I spoke with. He was extremely personable and expedient in getting my truck ready for service. He contacted me later to tell me the vehicle service was complete and the vehicle was ready for pick-up.I enjoyed the professional attitude he had in working with customers.
Excellent experience. My salesman Mr. Head walked me through the process being kind and honest through the entire deal. I got the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted.and my monthly payments as well. First time purchasing a brand new vehicle and I’m glad I chose this dealership!
Me and my wife had an excellent experience with Carl Black Chevrolet in purchasing our Chevy Traverse last night. Shout out to the team: Krystal Anderson for following up with us on inventory. Rajea Forrest was the sales person who helped us on the phone and did an excellent job finding our financing. Meagan Bonsignore met us onsite, showed us everything about our vehicle and answered all of our questions. And last but not least was Ken Pope the finance manager who finalized everything and even saved us a few more dollars. Altogether they made this car buying experience excellent and seamless. 30 minutes on the phone and about 80 minutes onsite and we were out the door. You all rock and thanks again!!! Blessings
I think the process of receiving repaired vehicles is flawed. I picked up my truck on Saturday and the GMC representative asked me who was the service representative who took my information.I did not remember. But the person helping me had all my information but I had to verify who the individual was. This was embarrassing to me because I had to walk down the row of names until I found the representative’s name.Honestly I felt they did not believe me and it was a test to see if I was trying to steal a vehicle.I have spent thousands of dollars at GMC and feel this process is very petty.
Spoke to Louis prior to visiting the dealership. He confirmed a few of the vehicles that I was interested in was available. When I arrived I was introduced to Nick who turned out to be a great guy. Great salesman! Knew everything about the vehicle I was looking at and went out his way to show me all the available Yukon Denalis with the specific options I was looking for. He was very patient while my wife and I were bickering back and forth about which vehicle to get. Essentially Nicks opinions helped us decide and we purchased our vehicle the same day. Nick was a straight up gentleman and has a great sense of humor! Louis was also a gentleman. Very knowledgeable about his inventory of units in stock and in transit!
We bring our Buick in to service at this location because of your service advisor Matt Gill. He has always taken care us over the past 14 years since we have been doing business at Carl Black He always ensures that we get the right services that are needed to keep our vechicle in top condition. Thank you Carl Black and Team for taking our of us.
I have been to several dealerships for my vehicles and this dealership with treat you right! My service advisor (Sean) and my mechanic (Keith) were amazing. Sean was available and had outstanding communication regarding my vehicle throughout the whole process! Keith’s video with service recommendations made it evident that he is a vigilant mechanic. I’m so grateful that he worked on my car! It was also done efficiently!
Much better than I expected! When I came in, I was slightly nervous because it was my first time visiting and I’m very particular on who goes under the hood of my car; especially since the last place I tried gave me less than satisfactory results. Patrick ensured me that my car was in good hands and he was absolutely right! From the services, to the experience and the clean space, you’ve found a loyal customer in me!
Outstand service, best car buying experience I ever had! Very professional and no BS staff, I drive over 2 hours just to come to this dealership and it was worth a 10 hour drive. Trust me this is the place to buy your new car!UPDATEThis year I went to the same dealership to purchase a truck. Same excellent service as last time! I even had a salesman go way above and beyond his job title to make my day! Thanks again guys.... You know I will be back.
Very simple, I found a car at the price I was comfortable of paying online. Did everything via phone and email and came in to sign the paperwork. Then drove off in my new Bolt EV. Painless. I am not a fan of sitting in the dealership for hours on end so this was a very good experience for me.

2022-04-22Not satisfied with the financial payment outcome. After second thoughts I believe that my payments could have been a little lower than what they are. They are within specs tho for the type of truck that I purchased...The sales person was GREAT!!The Finance person was also GREAT.I believe they did a very good job on Satisfying my every need. The vehicle is great.I just wish that the trailer brake attachment was installed instead of being put into the glove box, and I wish I could go back and have them install the max trailer tow package on the truck.Other than that I would have been 100% satisfied.I will buy my next automobile there and I hope the next time I can get everything I want. This was a OK start to our future dealings with each other.Ive purchased 3 vehicles 2 cars/1truck from Terry Cullen.I wouldnt go back there this time because they lied to me on my last purchase. They promised to fix something on the truck also and claimed they ordered it but after 9 months no fix.(A bent tailpipe)Hopefully Carl Black is my new dealership Ill be doing business with from here on out.Thank you!

2022-05-26First and foremost, thank you to the staff that assisted us with the purchase of the vehicle. It was such a pleasant experience. The (tall) gentleman who sat behind the glass table and Mr. Kevin whom went above and beyond to make sure we found the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted it. In addition, Kevin has been such great help. His communication is impeccable and he was just an amazing sales representative. We look forward to him assisting us soon again! Thank you. Look forward to seeing the new vehicle soon.

2022-07-24OMG!! I think my girls and I were placed in front of the most intelligent, hilarious, and humane salesman. Our salesman name was Ty (Ty Dolla Sign) 😂 He was honest from the very start. Did not try pressure me into anything that we did not want! Lewes the approval guy was just as kind. They both are down right good people. Jeff the finance guy was the quickest paperwork (book) I ever signed. These 3 men were awesome from.start to finish. We left in a 2019 Checy Tahoe. Proud. Again thank you Ty and team!!! Yall were great!!!

2022-05-30The sales staff at this dealership were fantastic. They were straight with me about a very specific vehicle, the salesman (Brett) made sure I knew where my vehicle was during the delivery process, and when I arrived to pick it up, it was ready and waiting for me with a full tank of gas! I cant recommend these folks more highly - unlike a similar dealership in another state, these guys arent upcharging their vehicles due to supply chain shortages, and they didnt attempt to take advantage of my exceedingly specific vehicle requirements by tacking on extra requirements. Great to work with, would definitely go back.

2022-08-09My experience with Carl Black GMC was an extended one because of my situation. The salesperson that helped me out was incredibly professional, patient, and genuine. His name is William Bird. And that name is apt because you will be soaring like a bird kissing the sky when you hop into your new vehicle. I highly recommend asking for him when you visit!

2022-07-24After a horrific experience at Shottenkirk Hyundai of Canton, I hesitated going to another dealership... but we did... and boy was I glad we did.We walked up to Carl Black at just after 8pm (closing time is 9pm on Friday). We checked out the car we were interested in and walked up to the doors where we were greeted by Sarah. She was very friendly and down to earth right from the start. We told her what were interested in and she went to work right away getting my information about my trade in and the key so we could test drive it. She didnt try hard to sell us on the car... she was informative but not overbearing. What a relief and a difference from one place to another. After the test drive she brought out our trade offer and we moved forward. We then went into the finance office with Sapphire who also was very friendly and super professional. She was thorough and professional but also... like talking to a friend....Seriously one of the best experiences walking into a finance office to discuss payments etc. After an hour after closing time, we drove away in our brand new Buick. These people went above and beyond to create an excellent customer service experience. I would recommend them 100% to anyone not looking to get ripped off like they tried to do to me at Shottenkirk Hyundai.
