Carrabbas Italian Grill in other cities:
Was there in a party of 6. I ordered the chicken parm and it was great. My wife ordered something but didnt care for it (hence, the 4 stars instead of 5). The portions were HUGE! Definitely worth the money. Service was excellent, even on a busy Friday. We enjoyed ourselves very much. My wife said shell just try something different next time, so we will be back.
Our department recently went to Carrabas for a luncheon meeting and had the best food and service! Alyssa did a fantastic job of getting us a private meeting area as well as serving on our tables. She made wonderful menu recommendations and stayed on top of all our needs. The food is always fantastic when we go there. Definitely a 5-star experience and we will be back!
Debra was a great server and was very attentive to our table! She went above and beyond and is great at making connections which is so important in customer service. Everything was prompt and I could tell that it was more than a job for her! 10/10 would recommend! The food was just as good as the customer service!
Recently visited for lunch and was pleasantly surprised how good the food and service is. Everything was fresh and tasted really good. If you like mozzarella cheese, try the Tomatoes and Burrata Salad. The appetizer sampler is great. Service was also great. Highly recommend.
Wonderful restraurant experience! No long wait to be seated. The hostess acknowleged our seating request promptly. A special shout out to Kareem he was our waitress and did a FANTASTIC job of making sure we were comfortable and dining needs were met throughout our whole dining experience. The food was cooked to perfection at a good temperature and everything was delicious!! The manager Justin also introduced himself and checked on us before and after the food was served. Our family was very pleased!! My new go to spot for a nice family dinner.
Wonderful experience, portions are more than generous, staff are well trained, attentive and most importantly friendly and charming hosts. New menu items always keep selections fresh, and persistent menu items are reliable classics. Manager Andrew and the lovely Debra make an excellent evening perfect
Carrabbas in Augusta was nothing short of amazing. From the amazing staff to the amazing food. Also, Alyssa was polite and respectful. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to make you time there fun and interactive. Thanks and I will recommend all the time.
I think it’s the most wonderful place, I love it so much and everyone here! They treat me like family every time I come in! Carolyn always the greatest, and so pleasant! The cooks are always on point, the staff is always so kind and wonderful! The management staff is always out and about makes circles around the floor!10 out of 10!!!
Let me start out by giving a little background info. My son and I rarely are able to go out to a RESTAURANT to eat because he works late or out of time a lot of times. This past Sunday, March 27 approximately 6 p.m. EST. We were seated in the bar area at a table by a window with no tables behind us only an exit door. We have no problem sitting a bar area anywhere. I quit drinking many years ago but my son drinks. He had 2 beers with his meal which was a steak. The food was great! The waitress we had was on top of it and very good. We had packed our leftovers and were waiting to get the check so I told my son I was going to use the restroom before we left. (Remember the exit door I mentioned earlier) as I was returning to our table I looked out the door and saw a group of men standing there. I sat back down at our table. Apparently, I was supposed to open this exit only door to allow this people to come into the restaurant. Im sorry but to me an exit door is an exit door. Long story short one of the young men walked to the front door (i.e., the entrance) and intentionally said look me dead in the eye and dont open the d... door. I turned and asked if he was talking to me? Anyway, he was and I apologize but no one is going to be disrespectful to me in that manner. I dont allow my son to talk to me in that manner so why would I allow a complete stranger to do it. We left the restaurant needless to say and Im not going to lie about it but yes I yelled and I cussed back. Ive have not been impressed with the reaction of the management team has been uncaring. I will not being visiting this establishment again. You can make your own choice.
There wasnt many people there for a Friday at 5 so we sat right down. It was quiet and nice to relax in a clean environment. The food wasnt the best, As I remember it having more flavor. I got the Alfredo and I could have made that at home with a pack of knorr. Everyone was polite and our server stopped by just enough to check on us. What I didnt like is that she had her earbuds in and at one point had food in her mouth while checking on us (like whose plate did that come off of vibe). We hadnt been in awhile and honestly probably wont go back for awhile. So not horrible but not great either.
Me & my boyfriend got food poisoning from this place. The whole vibe was weird from the moment we walked in. Then our waiter kept pressuring us to eat our food when we kept asking for Togo boxes. The food wasn’t even good. I don’t usually leave reviews for restaurants but this was a terrible experience! I’ll never eat here again.
Put 7 people in a 6 person booth. Had one guest hanging off the side of the booth. Very unprofessional by the hostess and they need to do better. How can you enjoy your food when you are cramped in a tiny booth with no room. Will not be coming back and management needs to work with their hostess on how to appropriately seat guest for the best experience. Completely ruined the experience
Carrabbas is the best restaurant ever one of my favorites! I have made so many memories in there. Multiple of my “daddy daughter dates” was within those 4 walls. The service is always wonderful never had to call a manager. Andrew (the manager) is one of the most kind-hearted people you meet though. All of the servers are amazing Julie Josie Desi Rakem Ralf Alyssa even the managers!! I would totally recommend even just to sit at the bar. Their bread and butter live in my head rent-free. Always a classic.
Its been a long time since I have been. I wasnt missing much. The table we were seated at was loose and wobbly. The food wasnt that great. I order a rib eye and and fettuccine and alfredo. The pasta was over cooked and the sauce tasted like it was out of a can. We were never offer any cheese for our pasta and the steak was over cooked and I love ribeyes for the fatty pieces. The amount of fat and consistency was terrible. Poor quality steak. Maybe Im expecting to much from a chain restaurant. The bread was good lol.
Carrabbas has been one of my favorites places to go ever since I was introduced to it in Denver, Colorado in the early 90s. Times have changed, restaurants have changed, portions have changed. When I first ordered a Johnny sometime in the late 90s, you got a 8oz Sirloin and a double breasted Chicken Bryan. Times have changed. Food still taste great, still great service but I think Im going to have to stop splitting with my wife.
The food was ok. The service can be a little better. We ordered fries and they never came out. The server came and said that he was going to get the kitchen crew to drop a new batch of fries. When we got them, they were cold. We got the mushrooms as an appetizer and they were ok.
The Carrabbas here in Augusta is nothing short of amazing. From the manger, Justin down to our wonderful server Gage. Justin stopped by our table and introduced us to the parmesan truffle fries. He also was very knowledgeable about health conscious meals that my wife asked about. All in all 10 out of 10 service.
2022-05: My review is based on having a third party delivery service fulfill my order and is soley focused on Carabbas, not UberEats. I ordered the Four Cheese & Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms and the Rigatoni Martino. Everything was fresh and hot when it arrived. The to-go presentation of both dishes were not very appealing, just sort of tossed in containers and the stuffed mushrooms were sparse looking because they were put in a container much larger than the portion provided. The flavor was great, though, and I thouroughly enjoyed them, as well as the Rigatoni Martino. Taking into account the higher prices because of using a third party delivery service, I would probably be okay with prices if I had dined in, but the inflated costs associated with delivery (but set by the restaurant) make me unsure if Id order a meal via delivery again. However, Id definitely dine in and give them another go.
The manager Justin definitely needs to be reported for harassment. He was very inappropriate how he handled a incident that didnt even involve him...and than Justin proceeded to scream about how this was HIS restaurant and how he is the manager. At that point he lost me because how did the conversation go from discussing a dish I received through uber eats that was tempered with to him screaming about how this was his store. sir i dont care whose store this is and now at this point I will keep reaching out to corporate so they can see the exchange between us. You sir do not deserve to be called a manager Mr. Justin.
Thursday night, June 30, 2022, we enjoyed the Calamari, the Spiedino di Mare & Caesar salad at our local Carrabbas on Washington Road in Augusta GA. The meal was tasty, hot, the salads fresh & cold, but this review is really meant to laud our server, Rakeem L, who was over the top in his charming personality, commitment to our satisfaction, promptness of service & follow-up. We asked him about the herb and spice blend used in the EVOO dipping dish for the bread. After describing the ingredients he offered to bring out a small container of the blend. To my wife, Linda who is a Georgia Master Gardener specializing in growing herbs, this gesture was so unexpected and appreciated. We joked with Rakeem L our plan to reverse engineer the formula. In this time of every service industry screaming for employees and patrons just happy if they even get a server to come to the table, refill water glasses, deliver the bill promptly, Rakeem L exceeded all of our expectations. We hope to have Rakeem L serve us again but suspect he has his sights on bigger and better things. That said, we thank Carrabbas local management for hiring and keeping him.
Thanks, Marcus, for excellent service! The food for all three of us looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Your excellent listening skills, promptness, and good advice are appreciated. I also loved CHILL MUSIC and relaxing atmosphere, as well as comfortable booth seating. This was my second time here, and the experience has been consistently positive!
(In the peak of COVID- OMICRON)I visted Carrabbas in Augusta, GA and my experience wasnt what I was accustomed to. I entered with my mask on and the hostess walked me to my table that people just finished eating from and that the buss-person just removed the dishes from. The hostesses had a white towel and a bottle of cleaning solution and spayed the table and wiped the food to the floor. Also there was food on the floor already from what the previous guest left and food in the seat from what the hostess wiping off the table top and the previous guest. The hostess began to walk away and I ask if she could wipe off the seats and remove the food off the floor. The look she gave me and then replied NO, so would you like to sit at a table or wait? I was so hungry that I took the table. I asked her to wipe the table off. She used the same white towel and cleaning solution leaving the table very wet as she walked away. I used my dinner napkin to dry the table off. My waitress greeted me with her mask under her nose. She was kind and took my order. She brought out bread and oil with the seasoning place it on the table and took my order. Before leaving my table she small talk with me and mid conversation she put her mask in her chin area and took her hand/fingers with no gloves on and wipe the saliva from the corners of her mouth. I froze for a second and asked her to PLEASE wash her hands. I eat at Carrabbas frequently due to traveling. I have had happy hour and dinner. Now that I am a new local to the area and this was my first time at this local. I have never any of these experiences at the other locations in Georgia or other states.
Food was good and made to order. We were seated at a booth. Im not a small person, so it was a tight squeeze. I didnt request to sit elsewhere, and Im sure they wouldve honored the request. But, if youre a bigger person, and do l prefer booth seating, I would not be able to recommend this place. That being said, everything else was great.
It was alright. This was the first time I have been. My food was okay. The parmesan truffle fries lacked any truffle flavor at all. The Pollo Rosa Maria was good, small portion though. The salad was alright but just had a single olive and so many onions. The pomodoro sauce was super sweet. The server was fantastic though and all the staff seemed happy and welcoming!
The service was excellent. The food was delicious, except for the potatoes, which had too much pepper. The only complaint is, the one pepper in my salad was a end cut that should have been trashed. I think it was just a mistake from rushing. The steak was perfect. The fish looked like art and tasted like heaven.
So I went here on a first date years ago and because of that, we tried to make it a regular date night spot for awhile. Unfortunately we were never completely satisfied with the food. Many times we had things to send back. Other times we just thought it was okay. The restaurant needs a good deep cleaning in the dining area and the food needs some serious attention. It’s definitely a chain restaurant experience when it comes to the food. It’s definitely NOT authentic Italian LOL. I guess what more can you expect? I eat just about anywhere now before resorting to this restaurant. After so many attempts, it’s just not good odds. Not worth the money. The 3 stars are for the servers. They are always super nice!
First of all the place as usual when you walk in smells great like Italian food and parmesan cheese. Amanda was our waitress and she was fantastic. Great demeanor, over the top attentive! Whatever we needed it was at our table in an instant! All of our food was hot and fresh. Please give this girl a raise! Carrabbas is very lucky to have her!
Had a wonderful meal last night, used on-line Wait List to ask for a table. Table was waiting for us on arrival. Zac was our professional waiter. His table attendance, question answering, and serving skills are spot on. (Im in the industry so I politely, respectfully, tested him during the course of the night). Now here is something to know - and its a good thing.I checked the cost of wine by the glass and by the bottle per the menu. The calculation here, considering a full bottle at 750ml/25oz, where the pour on the glass is either 6 or 9oz....adds up to the same (give or take a dollar) on purchasing the entire bottle for the table or buying the wine by the glass. On purchasing the entire bottle, the GA law supports your ability to take the remaining wine home with you. See photos below. Lock the bottle in the Trunk, Dont play with, mess with, or open the restaurant security sealed bag on the way home. Dont drink and drive !!!Support this nice law correctly and enjoy your meals. Recommend restaurant, always have a nice glass of water after dinner.
We went in pretty early so I didn’t expect the kitchens to be ready or anything, but we got seated pretty promptly, got our drinks easily, and the place seemed pretty nice. The waiter was nice and they got our orders to us in decent time. The bread was surprisingly good—likely my favorite part of the meal.We got our food (fettuccine and rigatoni) and… it was just okay. It was average at best for me, whereas my partner found it disgusting. I did not like the salad whereas my partner liked it.The waiter periodically checked up on us, but not too frequently. We inevitably didn’t finish the meal (I was too full already and my partner was disgusted) so we paid and left. If not for the food, it would be an average to above average experienced. However, due to the food, it’ll be below average for us.
I have enjoyed this place in the past but I found the food was VERY salty. The oil & spices used to dip the bread in was so salty we couldnt even use it. The kids spaghetti sauce was so thin, it was like a red broth, had no flavor at all. The meatball was good though. The whole meal to all 5 of us was good although everything seemed to be over salted from previous visits
The food was incredible, our server Jalisa was phenomenal as usual! She recommended the Lentil soup to take the cold chill from our bones and then the house classic rigatoni martino as our entree. Dinner wouldnt have been complete without Jalisa proposing the light and airy Tiramisu to commence the holiday season to end our fantastic meal. Kudos to the chefs in the kitchen as the food, which is always good and dependable, for some reason this time was definitely more enhanced with seasoning and distinct flavors. We have had the pleasure of Jalisa as our server several times now and each visit, she some how out does herself by having our drinks ready as we are being seated and knowing our tastes while recommending the newest additions to the menu. Jalisa is our go to specialist at our local Carrabbas Grill! We will be returning soon!
We visited 8/07/21 with a party of four. While the wait staff was obviously new, they gave it their best shot. However, the food was all cold when we received it. Two in the party were hungry and decided to eat it anyway. Mine was sent back because I had ordered seafood and it had to be served hot. I will say that when brought back it was good. The chicken marsala and the garlic mashed potatoes were served as if it had been sitting for a while. Was not impressed with the meal at the price paid.
Always great servers with great smiles and pleasant attitudes. They do above and beyond to provide a great dining experience. The food is always between a 4 to 5 stars in quality and some of that is based on pallet. Dont miss this location. Never once been disappointed in choosing this as our comfortable upscale dinner night out.
The first time coming here, food took forever, and on top of that, my wife found a rock in her soup. Then they bring out my chicken, and it was raw. Fryer was down, beer I selected wasnt there, and they were out of certain foods. Our food that day was comped and we got gift cards to come back. Well, the next visit wasnt any better. The soup had something hard in it, possibly a bone, not sure why we got soup again. Also, the food was bland, and not very appetizing for the price we had to pay. Carrabbas has gone downhill since the last time I came here to eat. Would not recommend.
Tuesday 7pm, not too busy. The server, Paige, was delightful and very attentive.A couple of items for mgmt:1) the benches in the entry foyer needed replacement years ago - they are torn & frayed and make a very bad first impression;2) the soups were served lukewarm - the lentil soup was tasty but a bit thin for my taste;3) the cannoli and caesar salad were very good;4) the lobster ravioli was a bit short on lobster and was served lukewarm;5) good deal on wine bottles $8 off;6) we sat in a booth, but the chairs at tables were bare wood and looked very uncomfortable. All in all, an enjoyable dinner, but with room for improvement.
The service and food were excellent. Wait time on Sunday night was about average. We were quoted 1 hour actually waited less the 45 minutes. We had a rather large party 8 guest and total time from walking in to check please 2 hours. Overall the front entrance could be cleaner and the restroons should be check more often. The staff was great and mosty well trained in proper dinner service. A few misses: dinner should be served from left and plates removed from right. A server should know which guest ordered which dish. But the drinks stayed full and plate presentation was accurate.
I’m not the type of person that usually likes to leave reviews but this time is different. We went there for dinner today it was our first time at this restaurant. We didn’t really like our food but we don’t like to make a big deal about it, so we just decided to take the leftovers even tho we are not even going to eat them. After we got home I started feeling kind of sick from my stomach. Some time after my husband started feeling sick. I decided to call the restaurant and let them know about it. I spoke with the manager and he just said it was too soon to be food poisoning that everything was good at the restaurant that maybe we should go to the doctor if we were sick it wasn’t from there. I just decided to leave it like that, but some time after my son got sick from his stomach too. I just know this was from the food we got at this restaurant because my daughter is the only one who didn’t even touch her food and she didn’t get sick. We will certainly never go back.
Okay they forgot are utensil and drinks not right. But they fixed it.. Just was late at night.update 5/7/22. we opted for this as the other competitor was over booked and no where to park. we gave name and told them 4 and a high chair. was told 30 minutes and it took that long. but they saw the high chair request.. but tried to seat us with a booster. they did apologize and try and work us in.. after a bit (10 minutes) they found a table and where getting it clean.. as a show of them being sorry for this. they comp. a appetizer .. table service was spot on. and attentive despite being on a high demand day. food was on spec . and they did well this time.
This was one of the most wonderful experiences at a restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! I never in my lifetime met a waiter like the one I had He was so patient he actually was describing the entrees. And he enjoyed doing it he was such an amazing waiter I felt like I known him all my life when I ever return I would love to have him as my waiter again I wish there were more like him ...His name is RALPH!!!😍😍😍 Carrabbas Italian Grill ALWAYS keep him around
Server was amazing but, the food took over an hour, the lasagna was cold in the middle with over cooked noodles (dont know how that is possible), our other plate was also cool or room temp. Its been awhile since Ive been here and this experience has me waning from considering coming back or even getting a take out order. On a side note, what large restaurant doesnt fry seafood separately from other goods? This one apparently, so if you have a seafood allergy I would recommend not counting on any dish with a fried product.
Amazing. The Chicken Bryan to die... juicy and tender.. Tiramisu was on point. Customer service from our server Debora 10/10. The drinks are at the bar, bartenders Austin and Zach went above and beyond what I had anticipated. Im glad I gave this restaurant a 2nd chance. WAY TO GO CARRABBAS!
Normally good, though our last experience wasnt great. They need a better host for the lunch hours than the one we got recently, who largely ignored us and struggled to speak coherently. Our last trip there was my only negative one and Im not going to hold it against them. I do wish they had a lunch menu though.
Waitress on tonight have our service so its very unfortunate for this visit. I already had bad experiences with their restaurants but gracefully the manager saved the ending. But manager check in your workers, ensure everyday they are ready to put forward every effort to provide the service that you are being paid to give. Not complain how long the day has been and how tired you are. Chefs were off their game on the dishes and taste, the plate preparer mixed up the sides on all the dinners, so people had to swap sides to correct their meals. Bad experience. Will not be returning.
Went there for the first time based on a rave recommendation. Maybe we hit them on an off night, but none of our food was very good. My eggplant parm was GREASY - the parts that were cooked, anyway. The other dishes at our table were just mehThe server was pleasant. We will go somewhere else next time.
Was invited for a family dinner. The service was wonderful. Kylie (I think... 🙈) Our server and all the other servers were very attentive and made the experience very enjoyable. Was not impressed by the food at all. The Marsala Sauce itself was lovely, but the veal beneath it was soggy. Everything tasted mostly bland and microwaved. I imagine most of the food is prepared off-site and then heated up at the restaurant. The asparagus I had with my meal was on its last leg: a little dry and wrinkled, but not tough. I did not try the 6oz sirloin, but someone in the party did and it was clearly not grilled but baked or something. Pretty gray, no searing. Didnt look very appetizing. But again, the service was lovely. Everyone did a great job.
Regardless of when I come here, I am pleased. The staff is amazingly friendly and competent...how refreshing. And the food....excellent. I got Chicken Bryan and it was on point!Comment for Management: my sister and I dined with you on 10/24. Gage was our server and he was EXCELLENT! Please let him know.
I ordered steak, pork chops, and calamari using door dash. Of the 5-6 times Ive used a meal delivery app during this social distancing, this was the only one that was a complete success. The steak, ordered MR, was delivered perfectly cooked, still warm, and as delicious as it is served in the restaurant. The garlic mash that came with it was the perfect mix of creamy and chunky. The pork chops were huge and delicious and the broccoli was perfectly cooked as well. Nothing was forgotten and they even included the customary bread and dipping oil, which we didnt order but was just an awesome bonus. Was an excellent dinner for sure.
Carrabbas is a pretty solid experience. It is the step above Olive Garden that you would expect for the price difference, but (and this may be controversial) maybe not for the prices they charge. Most of the dishes are going to run you an average of $17-18, which isnt too bad for a nice dinner. Of the menu items Ive gotten to try (from my own dishes and friends), the food has usually been tasty. Its got an upscale aesthetic with casual accessibility: you can go in for date night, but dont feel like youll be sneered out the door for walking in with jeans and a t-shirt on.Now, heres where some people may not agree: I dont know that Carrabbas is really worth the prices they charge. 💔 You can say that Im just being cheap, and maybe thats true (because I dislike Longhorns for the same reason). However, I used to eat at a restaurant where I paid around the same (or a little more) for similar Italian dishes, and the food quality was markedly different. It had the benefit of being an independent, family-owned restaurant that had been around for decades.I dont really mean for this to turn into some kind of essay of the state of independent versus corporate restaurants. Most people either dont care, or already have their opinions.I just think that Carrabbas is what it is: a chain restaurant that will largely look at profits over quality. Corporations cut corners where they can: its how they make the money they do. This is their inherent problem. So, if youre like me and you want your meal to be worth the money youre spending on it, I just think you can find better than Carrabbas. If you really want chain restaurant Italian, just save your money and go to Olive Garden.
How an Italian establishment does not automatically serve spaghetti with a chicken parm dinner is horrible and to make it worse the customer service of the employees and manager is despicable. Never again will I step foot in another Carrabbas in my entire life and I eat out 5-7 times a week.
I was served raw shrimp in my scampi the owner came out and told me the shrimp was done. Please review my name.... also owner had an issue my request for a well done steak ...and chicken breast to be cooked perfectly without char.... a well cleaned grill works best (fyi) he claimed it wasnt possible. Very sad experience...
We had a large party of 25 on Wednesday night December 4 at 6:30. we made the reservation a month in advance. And asked to sit in the area towards the back that was very wide, they did not put us there. they put us in a long skinny area to the side the waitresses who were wonderful and efficient. But had trouble serving because it was so narrow. they were not busy that night. there were two servers and they were excellent and did a wonderful job. but the manager assured us that we would be sitting on the side where it was wider. one of our club members came in and talk to the Manager in person and showed him where we wanted to be and they did not put us there. We had awards to hand out and a Christmas gift exchange and it was very difficult to do both of those. So we are very disappointed in where we were seated. a manager never came over and checked on us we had a reservation for 630 but it was after 630 before they seated us. we had to add extra tables. but the servers were wonderful. so our club will think twice before we come there again and I will think before I recommend that for anybody with a large party
This restaurant is awful. The managers are not good. They miss treat there co workers. Take advantage of them. Tell them one thing and totally do the opposite. Keep the co workers at work way to long when they have families to be with. Don’t know how to work together. This is awful and they should be shut down
Im shocked to see the notes about poor service in other reviews. One of the reasons weve returned again and again to this restaurant is because of the consistently good service weve received. Everyone weve ever dealt with has been friendly and attentive. And the food is yummy. The the prosciutto-wrapped asparagus is a favorite appetizer and I love their lasagna.
Picked up curbside tonight and I was excited. However, we were disappointed in the chicken parm family bundle... half burnt (like hard), and the other half was dry. Kids wouldnt even touch it... wasted $50. The salad and pasta were alright. We probably will not go back.
Had a bad experience with a server named gage. he seemed a little out of it like he may have been under the influence of something. He was not giving me any customer service I had to ask other servers to refill my drink. This disappoints me bc I love y’all’s food and atmosphere. Please do better by hiring better servers carabbas by making sure they are fully trained and screen for any possible substance abuse.
The food was average at best. Weve aways loved Olive Garden and we thought wed try Carrabbas. The food was quite disappointing. I was also a little surprised at how expensive it was. Dont get me wrong, its just dinner for two and weve eaten all over the place, but there was definitely sticker shock. Service was good. They actually took my wifes meal off the final ticket. Anyway, Im quite disappointed.
Had allergic reaction!! Told the waiter when I arrived that I was allergic to basil. Asked for plain olive oil with the bread, which was fine. Ordered linguine with olive oil and garlic only. When the food arrived, it had spices on it. Was told it was salt and pepper. That never happened before but I was assured it was fine. A few bites in, I see a bright green leaf. I ask the waiter, who asks the cook, who says it’s a scallion. Five minutes later, I have hives. We left right away and about five minutes after that my throat started itching. Absolutely ridiculous.
I was in town for my my nieces graduation, and sister chose this location for the post graduation. I was a reservation for a group of roughly 25-30 people. The food was pretty good, but the service was outstanding. Our servers, Felix and Miguel, were attentive, helpful (two toddlers in the group so there were definitely spills) and just in overall good spirits. They served our group with minimal error in orders, they made suggestions as to their menu and worked very hard to provide excellent customer service. I would definitely return with a large group, if this is their standard of service!
This has always been my favorite restaurant, but tonight, they went above and beyond. My father-in-law died this past week, and the entire family came in around 8:45 after his viewing, with about 7 kids in tow. The people at the restaurant accommodated our very large party with a lot of grace and made sure we had plenty of bread, water, and all the niceties. The waitress was attentive, the food was excellent (as always), and the manager sent out free appetizers and comped my mother-in-law’s food as a way of respecting her grief. Tonight, they made sure we had a 5-star experience, which was a pleasant end to a very sad day.
We went for my sons birthday lunch on a Sunday at 3p.m. It took about 20 minutes to get seated and I couldnt figure out why because I saw many open tables. After being seated and waiting more than 10 minutes for a drink order and another 10 for bread the waitress said someone called out and she just picked up our table but it wasnt her section. We should have just left then because everything just continued down hill from there. One call in and the place fell apart I guess. It was so terrible we only paid for our drinks , appetizer and one entree out of 5. We were there for over 2 hours. This used to be a good place but it has definitely dropped their standards with the quality of their food and service . I will not be returning.
Maybe it was just the time i was there or maybe this location. The food was not that enjoyable, service was terrible, and the salad was drowning in dressing that i didnt order. I went there at 12:30 and left around 1:45. The only fast services was gettimg the appetizers and my money. I will not be going back to this location and i highly dont recommend it to anyone.
The food was great and our waiter was phenomenal. We were a little crunched for time because I had to attend a ceremony with my family at Augusta University. We told our waiter and he did everything perfectly and had us taken care of in plenty of time. We appreciated this so much. Great service and food, definitely recommend!
I was craving pasta and cringed at the thought of eating at a chain restaurant. As I was walking in, I noticed a gentleman partaking in a steak and quickly changed my mind on what I wanted. I was floored when the steak came out juicy and tender. The waitress, Alex, was friendly as well, like total best friend material.
I ordered carry out, they texted me when my order was ready. I got the shrimp linguini and It lasted two meals. I was craving shrimp linguini and this hit the spot for me!! I will be back. I heard they have a special right now, 2 can eat for $50, includes a bottle of wine 🥂
We were there for The Masters (congratulations to Tiger!!), and thought we would help John Daly and have dinner at Hooters. It was loud, crowded, full of wobbly peeps, so we trekked across the parking lot into this place. Really nice place. Great service. Delicious food!! Mussels and calamari appetizers, and pasta for dinner, all very good.
I had never been here before but I will definitely return. The food was lovely, the service was lovely, everything was great. 0 complaints. This is a great place to get well made Italian cuisine, just make sure your pocket is a little deep for this trip because they are on the more pricey side. Besides, you are paying for what you get. Worth the money spent.
I love to come here for an early dinner and enjoy the specials on apps. And drinks. We have never had bad service or food on any of our trips and always enjoy the atmosphere. The facility is always kept clean and there is plenty of parking. Food is always tasty and drinks are always kept full. It does get busy so get there early.
I usually really enjoy Carrabbas, but did not enjoy this experience as much. The usual 3/4 in thick pork chops were not thick at all and overcooked. Pasta was overcooked, and too watery. It took over two hours to get appetizers and meals for a party of ten. Our server would disappear for ten to fifteen minutes at a time and would forget things we requested like butter or plastic forks for the two little ones. At least two of our party ended up ordering their food to go because original orders were not correct (well done vs. medium, no cheese for vegetarian) and to hours later corrected orders had still not been received. This was the most disappointing Carrabbas experience I can recall.
This was my first experience at this establishment. Our waitress was very attentive, informative, and friendly! I ordered the steak and chicken bryan combination entree with fettuccine as my side. My steak was a bit over cooked, but the flavor in the sauce made up for it. The chicken was so tender I hardly needed to chew it. However, the goat cheese topping that I was most excited about tasted off, as if it had spoiled. The fettuccine tasted exactly like the Knorr pasta side brand. My husband ordered a ribeye entree, medium well, with the same disappointing fettuccine. His plate was served with blood pooling out of the top of the steak and his fettuccine was blood soaked. I sent it back and the next steak was so over cooked that he couldn’t chew it. We decided to just cut or losses, fork out the $63, tip our waitress, and take everything to go for our dogs.
I had been wanting to try Carrabbas for years but they were never open for lunch when I came by so I always chose somewhere else nearby. They finally changed the hours of operation and now are open for lunch. I finally was able to try them for my mothers 53rd birthday, and enjoyed everything they had to offer. The wait wasnt long to get a table. The waitress was great and knew the menu well and kept everything on the table fully stocked. The food was great. I couldnt get enough of that bread. I ate about 3 loaves. Im a bread fanatic. The food is a little pricey but its prepared well. I enjoyed the whole experience here and my mother had a great birthday dinner here. She liked it so much she added this restaurant to her favorite restaurants list. We will definitely be here to dine again soon.
My husband and I went there for lunch, and we were surprised that there was no lunch menu. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and did a great job. His timing for everything was spot on.Our 3 stars came from the price tag vs. the food quality. The caesar salad dressing did not have flavor, it was decorated with a pinch of cheese, and 3 croutons. My side of spinach was unbearably salty. My arugula chicken was nothing to write home about. It consisted of raw lettuce and tomatoes on top of a flat fried chicken breast; that is all.Price wise, if I am going to spend dinner prices at lunch time, I want dinner quality.
The waiter was great and service. The food was cold when I got my steak and seafood. Small potions for $25.99 I was surprised only 2 shrimp and 2 scallop 6oz steak. My niece dish was pasta and grilled chicken. The bowl had alot of water in the bottom, the chicken she said was like rubber. She couldnt eat it. The manager did remove it from her bill. This restaurant chain has gone down hill with food quality.

Went there after many many years and other than the menu, nothing has changed. The service was great and even the food was ok but the price for what you get is not worth it. I got the lobster ravioli and there were 8 ravioli on my plate. That is more of an appetizer than a meal, but thats just my opinion. I gave 3 stars because the waitress was super and the food despite what little I got, was good.
Had the crabbed topped salmon for main course with sauted spinach and seasoned asparagus. Shared an appetizer of fried calamari with friends. It was all delicious, waitress was pleasant, professional, answered all of our questions about the menu. We all got exactly what we ordered. We had a great time!
The restaurant was surprisingly filthy, the carpets were extremely soiled, straw coverings all over the floors with crumbs and food residue everywhere. Our seater tried to seat us in a booth where the seat upholstery was ripped open. I was shocked and asked to be seated elsewhere. The next booth was just as filthy. We left. All the while four employees were standing idle in the hallway who could have made the place cleaner and more presentable. Don’t visit this location they have no pride in their work.
I went in for a quick lunch. I wish I got my servers name but she was an mid age women. VERY sweet and prompt. All my food came out quickly. Hot and I needed to run right back out and she quickly and politely gave me my check and to go boxes with a to go drink and bread. I LOVE their food but I will be back just for the service alone.

2021-09-14Carrabbas is my new favorite spot for fresh, Italian food. I have actually never visited the restaurant because I am not a huge fan of Italian food, and I have always been loyal to the Chicken Marsala from Olive Garden. However, Olive Garden recently changed the recipe which was the only reason I visited the restaurant, other than for the bread sticks. I am pleased to report that Carrabbas exceeded my expectations, and I would have made the switch years ago had I known the food was so delicious. They offer elevated classic Italian cuisine and also other options as well for non-pasta lovers. I was also very pleased with the amount of food we received for the price point. We received two entrees, with two sides, salad, bread, a glass of wine and a dessert for $57! The pork chop is AMAZING and a must try!!!

2021-12-30I got the linguine positano with shrimp and was very impressed for $20! My sister said her fettuccine alfredo with chicken and peas was fantastic for $20 too but her husband wasn’t very impressed with his ravioli. There were 14 noodles total so he paid like $1.30 per noodle! Ever though he wasn’t as happy as us he still said it was REALLY good! Great Italian restaurant for dinner!

2022-03-21$8.99 berry gooey cake not worth the price! Great service but paying $9 for a 2”x2” cake is too high for what you get. I’m a dine rewards member and we should have ordered the large slice of cannoli cake for like we usually do. Dessert was a bust- big disappointment. Didn’t even have mint sprigs. I asked to give feedback to bartender, who was nice and received the information. We were told “it’s Monday” when asked why the dessert didn’t look like the menu photo. I guess Monday’s are tough for the kitchen??

2022-04-22Spaghetti and meatballs is my all time favorite dish! The juicy meatballs melt in your mouth while complementing the zesty sauce-covered pasta! I was in heaven :-)

2022-04-04My sister and I got some wine and appetizers on Saturday and had a really great experience being waited on by Deborah. She checked in with us frequently but not too frequently as to interrupt our conversation. We had zucchini fries, mozzarella sticks, and mussels. It was an ample amount of food and we left with a to go box as well. Our wine was good and spot on to our specifications and we greatly appreciated her knowledge of the menu and recommendations. We will be back!

2022-01-30Went for 3 people. Our waiter was attentive. We all tried the sampler. Very good. The bad was the vegetable broccoli. It tasted like fish and was mushy. They dont make fresh. When i asked for substitute was informed to get something else. Overall great experience

2022-04-24Food ended up being great, but the waiter was too high for me to deal with. He said he would be right back, 10 minutes later he comes back and waits on another table that was seated after us when he went away. Once he finally came, we ordered.... Im still not sure what happened. I was looking for cameras, I think the waiter forgot to straighten up in the bathroom cause he had no clue what was going on. Next time we saw him we just asked for everything to go, I was angry and the night was ruined. Trying to leave took forever. We still had to box up some of our own food, we were not given our drinks to go, so we didnt even get what we ordered. I had never been before and I was so excited. The food as I said ended up being fine but the experience was absolutely horrible. I would recommend a to-go option from here because the food is good.
