We have stayed at many cabins this is the first one that didn’t have much usable kitchenware for someone who likes to stay at home and cook. No tea pitcher( which we purchased and left) no sharp knives and no sharpener. Bare necessities were all that were provided if that. The dryer won’t cut on thank goodness my husband can problem solve. The door catch does not catch when you close it so you have to tape it down to get the dryer to cut on. The fire pit !! The picture was of the one next door with nice aerondack chairs and cleared of leaves. Ours we were scared to use because of all the leaves and debris around. That could have been resolved if a rake was provided.The location was convenient to Helen and other local towns, the hot tub was nice and the creek was a soothing sound on the deck. Overall this cabin was ok. We would stay again.
Everything was great. It was refreshing, peaceful and quiet. Cabin & The lining were clean. Skys the limit was a good solo trip. Fyi if you can get there before dark (do that) & drive a crossover or bigger.
The family celebrated my moms 58th birthday this past weekend and we stayed in the bear creek cabin for 12. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The area was private and peaceful.The attention to detail was so great. They provided little essentials like hand soap, dishwasher pods/liquid, trash bags, cookware (Teflon), plenty of towels and hand towels.I would recommend bringing throw blankets if you get cold easily (like myself). Overall we had a the best weekend! Dont hesitate to book its so worth it!
We stayed at their Mountain Top cabin and had a wonderful visit. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and a fun place to hang out.
We stayed in the Tranquility 2. First night… We had German Roaches all in the kitchen. Crawling all over the food we had prepared before going out to enjoy our fire. Called the office on Friday morning and complained. They were to send out the pest guy. Never showed. We fought the bugs all weekend. Will NEVER stay here again.NOTE: They SAID they called back and SAID they left a message but I didnt receive one. I guess we should have left all of the food on the counters for the roaches to be crawling over if the pest guy showed up. We were at the cabin most of the day and never seen anyone come by! Thanks for trying to cover your tracks though :)
This was our first trip to the Northern Ga area, and was a rather spur of the moment Labor Day weekend, couples getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, and though it was a bit pricier than we wanted, we understood that the holiday weekend and the popularity of the area were contributing factors.We stayed in Enchantment and the cabin was almost exactly as depicted online.The GOOD:The cabin is off the beaten path, we definitely loved the peace, quiet, and seclusion.The amenities were very nice...hot tub to soothe aching muscles after a day of sightseeing...large deck for outdoor relaxing...comfortable king size bed...well equipped kitchen for meal prep.The SO-SO:The cabin was not quite as clean as we would have liked. Windows needed cleaning, the hot tub was not super clean, and there were dust bunnies under the bed.We like to have a cocktail or two, but the ice trays were broken, and there was no ice-maker in the fridge.The kitchen lighting leaves a bit to be desired. ...a few more track lights or some over the counter task lighting would have been nice for meal prep.The recliner on the right end of the sofa did not work.We tried to watch a little bit of TV, but could not turn down the volume, the remote is apparently not programmed correctly.Some additional outdoor furniture on the deck would be nice...a small table and a couple more Adirondack chairs.An extra blanket for couch sitting would have been nice as well.The driveway, parking, and entry are a bit difficult to negotiate.The above points were by no means deal breakers, just minor annoyances, that would make the stay for the next guests more enjoyable if addressed. All-in-all, we had a great time, and would definitely visit again.
When I first looked at the website and the pictures I was a little skeptical about how nice it actually looked in person. Have been duped before when booking lodging on arrival to my surprise it was everything and more, it was perfect. The seclusion and quality of the cabin were everything we were looking for. Also the distance from the town of Helen and all the attractions we wanted to visit were perfect. On our stay at the cabin, it was very quiet and did not see anyone from the other cabins at all even though there were cars parked there. We are already looking forward to booking the cabin again as it was a wonderful getaway and much needed as well.
Our recent stay in Pure Gold was pure pleasure. The cabin was exactly as advertised (and immaculate). The high speed (download and upload) internet was very much appreciated also. The location was a perfect starting point to visiting Helen as well as several of the many waterfalls in the area. They also went above and beyond in accommodating us when our arrival was delayed a day at the last minute. Highly recommend.
Went for a weekend getaway and stayed at Tranquility 1. The place was immaculate. It smelled clean as soon as you walked in and while most hardwood floors still feel gross, these were smooth and fresh feeling. We checked the hot tub because that’s always our biggest fear but this hot tub smelled freshly clean and the water was so clear! The bed looked as if it was made by an interior decorator. The kitchen was cleaner than I have ever seen a cabin kitchen and it felt homey. We settled in and were too tired to cook. We saw things about delivery but couldn’t find anything close that we liked that delivered. We spoke to a lady over the phone and within 35 minutes, a sweet young lady, I think by the name of Lauren, showed up with exactly what we requested. She had the most hospitality I have ever received and this was at 10:02pm. So very respectful and proud to help us. We will for sure be returning to Cedar Creek Cabins in our next venture to North Ga! Honestly not one single complaint about our stay. It was an amazing memory we will be able to remember.
We stayed in the Dreamscapes cabin for Thanksgiving & it did not disappoint! The luxury amenities were AMAZING! The cabin was super clean and it was so close to Helen, and all the cute little surrounding towns. We will definitely be back!! THANK YOU!!
Me and my Husband chose cedar creek cabins for our honeymoon and this is the second time we have stayed in one of their cabins and it did not disappoint! It was absolutely beautiful and we will be back for sure!
The Oak Hill cabin was nice overall. That said there were a few things that were not so nice.2 rooms were spacious. 2 were not. One was so cluttered that the nightstand was sideways because it couldnt fit the regular way.The cabin has a 12 person capacity. I advised the rep that the amount i had would be about 14. She asked if we would drive separate cars.. I told her yes. Apparently, there was a limit on the amount of cars allowed. There were 5 cars there. So someone, Im guessing the mgr or owner, decided come onto the property to take a gander. He questioned the purpose of the extra cars and told me that we could get fined for having this many cars.. He also said he was just making sure that we werent having a rave or something and that people have done that. He truly spooked us as he was a stranger to us and we were in a cabin in the woods ....not familiar with the area. It truly put a damper on our vibe.There was not enough tissue or washcloths, even without the extra people. I called the office to report it and left a message. We ended up purchasing our own.There was no linen stored in any of the closets for the amount of people its supposed to host.I was told that the air was hot upstairs and that it was uncomfortable to sleep.Otherwise, we had a great trip.
Booked The Dreamscape almost 2 months in advance. Quick response and great detail on what to do upon arriving and when departing the cabin (directions were great and very helpful as GPS signal wasnt the best in this area). The cabin was beautiful with stellar views. Highly recommend for a relaxing fall getaway.
We enjoyed our stay at the Whispering Waters Cedar Creek Cabins. We were able to disconnect and just enjoy nature. The cabin had everything you needed and was very spacious, the only reason I gave it a 4.5 was the beds could be more comfortable it was rough on my back. Other than that the Family enjoyed themselves. Great place to go in the winter as well. You have Sunburst Adventure about 20 min away and they have ATV tours, horseback riding and much more activities the whole family can enjoy.Thank you Cedar Creek Cabin 💗
Our cabin (Bear Hollow) was advertised as having 3 bedrooms and the capacity to sleep 12 (8 adults and 4 children). We only had 5 adults, but the sleeping accommodations werent sufficient. Only the upstairs bed (king size) was comfortable. The futons were extremely uncomfortable and only 2 blankets were provided (no sheets). The upstairs shower didnt work properly. It ran out of water after about 1 and 1/2 minutes. There were very few dishes in the kitchen, so you had to wash them after each meal in order to have enough. For the price, I expected more.
My wife and I wanted to get away from it all and the Allure cabin was exactly the place to go. Its far away from everything and yet close enough to Helen for everything you want to do there. We were surprised to only be 45 minutes from the Chatooga River where we went white water rafting. The cabin was beautiful with a creek in the back and a large hot tub on the deck. Make sure to print your directions as GPS may not get you directly to the cabin.
My husband and I stayed in pure gold, its a very nice cabin. Its not as secluded as I thought, but each cabin faces away from each other so once you are on the deck or by the fire pit you feel completely alone. The 2 person shower was amazing the hot water never ran out. The bed is super comfortable but the pillows are very lacking, Id recommend you bring your own. The cabin was very clean! A few things werent great like, they give you a guide for the cabin, it has instructions on both the jacuzzi tub inside and hot tub outside. Only thing is none of the controls in the cabin match the instructions and made it difficult to figure out how to use them. Also the blankets on the bed are just 2 sheets, if you are cold natured bring a extra blanket. Even with those few things we would still 100 % stay at pure gold again!
We checked into our cabin (Holiday) on Friday. When we entered the cabin the heat hit you directly in the face. The thermostat was set to 80 and the cabin itself was 86 degrees. We adjusted the thermostat and it said it would take 2+ hours to cool off. This is a 3 story cabin. We checked the lower floor and the temperature was tolerable and the upstairs floor was okay. We stayed in the cabin for a couple of hours before leaving to get something to eat. We purchased a fan to circulate air in the main floor bedroom since it didnt have a ceiling fan and the other two bedrooms did.When we got back it was still 80+ degrees in the cabin. We reached out to management and they sent maintenance over to check it. They sent me a screenshot of the thermostat on their phone and I informed them it was incorrect. He said it was blowing cold air so it was working. He advised us to close the vents downstairs (since it was the coolest part of the cabin) and force air upstairs. That wouldnt work since someone was sleeping downstairs as well.Later that night we reached out to management again to let them know that there was no Roku remote for the living room which meant that we couldnt watch TV as a collective family. We also notified them that the jets in the hot tub werent working. We never got a response.Around 6:30 Saturday morning the cabin finally was at the temperature that the thermostat was set to. I messaged the management again to see if they had gotten my text message from the night before and they eluded to the fact that I did not know how to run the hot tub. They never addressed the TV issue.We left the cabin for the day around 10:30AM and got back around 4:15PM to find the cabin hot once again. The bottom floor and top floor were both cooled. The issue seemed to only be on the main floor where the living room, master bedroom, kitchen, and dining room were. I messaged management again. This time Tom reached out to me personally and asked me about the situation. I explained the issues on the day before and how it was hot once more. He asked what the thermostat had been set on and I told him 68. It was 82 when we got back from our day out. He stated that the it sounded like the AC couldnt keep up and he was going to have an AC tech come out.I sent the management team videos of me properly using the hot tub and the fact that it still was not working as well as pictures of all of the remotes in the living room with no acknowledgement whatsoever.The AC tech was there looking over things and we left the cabin to go out for supper. When we got back to the cabin the main floor was still 80 degrees and this was at 10:00 at night. My son and I went downstairs to shoot pool and found that the bedroom on that floor was freezing cold. When we went into the room where the pool table was we noticed a weird sound and found that all of the vents in the pool room had been closed off. Obviously this was causing the bedroom to be super cold but had not changed the temperature on the main floor.This sounds silly but when I tried to turn on the lamp on the main floor it wouldnt come on. I found that it was unplugged. I plugged it in and it still wouldnt come on. I looked at it closer, it literally didnt have a bulb in it at all. In addition to all of the issues listed above, it appeared that no one had been there to cut the grass in some time. There were tall weeds all around the fire pit area and the bushes were unkept. For the kind of money that was spent to reserve this cabin it was very disappointing. The lack of response and concern for our experience is even more concerning.I filled out the exit survey and listed all of my issues with no response or acknowledgement whatsoever.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! My family and I recently rented Tranquility 2 for a long weekend. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean (I always do my own cleaning before my children enter a rented place, wether it be a motel or 5 star accommodation) I was pleasantly surprised that my white cleaning towel was still white after cleaning downstairs, upstairs and even the upstairs outdoor balcony. The cabin is well appointed, super spacious and attention to detail is obvious.Wendy was extremely friendly, patient and accommodating to our requests and inquiries. We also poorly misjudged just how long it would take to pack up for our departure and were still there when Brenda arrived to begin cleaning. She met us with a friendly introduction and did not make us feel uncomfortable for over staying our welcome. Thank you to your staff for making this a wonderful and memorable experience, we can not wait to return!!
OMG! It was me and my family’s first time in a cabin! I must say we were very pleased with EVERYTHING! The cabin was so easy to find and it was very very clean! The hot tub was hot and ready and the cabin lived up to my expectations. It looked EXACTLY like the photos. We can’t wait to visit again! Thanks for such an amazing experience.
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and all the details that made our stay great!! Great Escape was spotless and the hot tub was ready when we arrived. They even provided robes for us!! We were in desperate need of a getaway for a couple of days and this was perfect! There wasnt another cabin right up next to us so we had plenty of privacy. The directions on how to use everything made it easy for us to operate everything. We will definitely be staying here again!!
Had an amazing stay in our cabin. The staff were gracious enough to accommodate a change in cabins for us at our request with no additional charge and allow us an early check in. Greatly appreciated their willingness to accommodate us and assist us in having a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, cozy, and relaxing. Loved the hot tub and fireplace each night. Great location to Helen 5-10 minutes away, perfect. Though there were other cabins close by you felt very secluded and had plenty of privacy with plenty of woods between you and the neighboring cabins. Cant wait to come back in the future. Have stayed in other cabins in the past and changed it up and went with Cedar Creek this time. Very glad we did. Will book with them again in the future.
We stayed in the Paradise cabin. The cabin is so beautiful and very clean , the creek out back is so relaxing to listen to BUT the amenities are awful. The cabin has a Nest thermostat, and is obviously set for certain temperatures because we couldnt get the AC under 74 degrees. If we didnt plan on cooking we would have stayed in a hotel. There isnt even enough silverware for the amount of people the cabin sleeps. Theres 3 wine openers, but not a single spatula or baking sheet. Its definitely a challenge trying to cook here too say the least. No cleaning supplies, which with four children in the house was also extremely challenging. So bring your own stuff to cook with, extra towels including kitchen towels, pot holder and cleaning supplies and you should be set. And bring extra blankets.Also adding that there should be bath mats outside of the showers, my 8 year old fell as she was getting out. Beautiful place but NOT worth the money charged, especially since you have a list of cleaning tasks to be performed before we leave while charging a hefty cleaning fee.
We had an amazing stay at the Pure Gold Cabin! It was just the relaxing vacation we needed. The hot tub and sauna were rejuvenating and the staff was friendly and communicative. Pro tip; you will need to bring all of the essentials you will need during your stay (extra towels, lighter, paper towels, etc). We definitely plan on renting from Cedar Creek Cabins in the future!
Oasis-Things that did not work- Light and fan switch was missing or did not work. Box spring stain, mattress cover stain.Nasty air mattress next to the washer and dryer, this place definitely needs some maintenance. The cabin was dusty. Throughout our stay we received zero cleaning services, yet we were charged a substantial fee for housekeeping. Please do your research before renting. Then they send you a long list of what you need to clean?Hot tub jets did not seem to work well.In the military for 18 yrs, deployed many times, slept on bunk beds, cots and in cars for weeks at a time, my wife of 125lbs, and I, 150 lbs sank into the middle of the bed, worse night sleep we ever had, finally since the message box was full and no one answered we just flipped the entire mattress over and dealt with it.Spent my first morning calling the office and filling out several online forms for things that were issues or not working.Never got a response.Its more like 25-30 min to Helen.Plenty of construction in the area that you will hear due to the treehouses they are constructing.WHILE THEY SAY THEY DO, THEY DO NOT GIVE A MILITARY DISCOUNT.It is a very different stay, no other places really with a large tub that can fit two people, although my wife did say it needs a full length mirror for the ladies.
Tranquility 2 is the prettiest cabin I’ve ever booked! So many cute touches throughout, just lovely. Really comfy beds, and my girlfriends and I had such a great time. The downstairs sleeping area made the perfect slumber party! Open concept was great for connecting and enjoying each other’s company. We were close enough to make a day trip to local wineries and get back in time to enjoy the hot tub! Loved being in a gated community and in such a peaceful setting. Wendy was awesome to work with! We had a minor issue and maintenance responded promptly and she was sweet enough to give us a late checkout because we didn’t want to leave! Thanks, we WILL be back!!
My husband and I stayed in the Enchantment cabin to celebrate our ten year anniversary. The cabin was absolutely stunning! The layout was great, the hot tub and the garden tub were glorious! The peace and serenity we experienced during our stay was much needed and appreciated. The location being so close to Helen was fantastic, and the area it was in was something that will be imprinted in my mind forever. The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival and the check in/check out process was a breeze. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to everyone, and would be more than willing to go back out there for another stay. Thank you so much, Cedar Creek Rentals for the trip of a lifetime, we had so much fun! We will be back!
Me my fiancé and three children stayed at The whispering waters cabin for my 32nd birthday! It was amazing! I really enjoyed the hot tubs and jacuzzi. The place was so secluded and zen like! Our cabin had a fire place, cable ect everything to make us feel right at home or even better! We also enjoyed going into town and visiting the city of Helen! There was so much to do. Also there is a Dollar General 8 minutes away from the cabin, we forgot a few things at home and was easy to get there and get what we needed. I would definitely recommend the cabins of Cedar Creek and we will be back next year. I have already told all my family and friends.
This was my first ever experience at the cabins and I had no idea what to expect. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back to the cabins! Wendy at the office was a great help to us and the instructions / directions given to us by the cabins were simple and to-the-point. The cabins were well maintained. The back porches bug net needs to be updated, since there were a few holes in the netting. But, we will definitely come back and it was a great getaway!!!
I have rented Cedar Creek Cabins for quite some time now. I have always been extremely pleased with the amazing service and quality of cabins they have. I cannot begin to tell you how great they are. That’s why I continue to go back. Beautiful, lots of details, amenities and most importantly, clean.I also must mention that Wendy has been a true customer service queen. She has gone above and beyond over and over. She even made sure there was a hair dryer in one of the cabins for me. Great cabins, great service!! No doubt!!!!!
My husband and I love Cedar Creek Cabins! We stay often because we love Helen! Pure Gold and Whispering Waters are our favorite cabins to stay in! The hot tubs are amazing, the views are stunning and private, the cabins are very well maintained and the my contact, Wendy made it so easy to relax! Thank you so much!
My husband and I just got back today from staying at the Oasis Cabin. Would highly recommend. Tom and Pam were great to work with on reservations, preparing us for our stay and communication. Cabin was beautiful and very clean!! We’ll definitely be back :)
I cannot say enough about our stay with Wendy and Cedar Creek cabins. It was my husband and I 20 year anniversary, and we had originally booked another cabin through a third-party. It ended up being a disaster and they were unable to accommodate us. I made one phone call to Wendy at Cedar Creek and she went over and beyond to get us in as soon as possible. She even gave us a great rate! She sent me a text with all our check in information, I did not even have to go by an office. It was the easiest check-in ever. Once we arrived at the cabin we were so excited to see how large it was. It was nestled in the woods and came with everything you needed for a great getaway! The hot tub was the cherry on top! I will definitely stay with them again, we are planning on bringing our kids with us next time. We really loved staying with Cedar Creek cabins! Wendy was a rock star!
I cannot even begin to describe our experience with Cedar Creek Cabins. Initially, we were placed in “Sweet Retreat”. It was far from the romantic adventure advertised on the website. Nothing worked (washer,dryer, internet, cable). The cabin was filthy. The dishes were left with residue and trash was overflowing upon arrival and there were not any clean towels. When the issue was addressed, the housekeeper proceeded to bring us towels, hours later, that were still wet. Throughout our stay we received zero cleaning services, yet we were charged a substantial fee for housekeeping. Please do your research before renting.
My husband and I stayed in the cabin Tranquility Two for our 1 year wedding anniversary and LOVED it! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed/wanted! Very private but still only 25-30 minutes to downtown Helen. All of the staff I communicated with both before, during, and after our stay has been so sweet and helpful. Couldnt have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary and will definitely be visiting again!
We wanted a quiet, rustic cabin getaway; Cedar Creek delivered beyond our expectations!! The setting was beautiful, and the cabin was exceptional!! The attention to detail floor to ceiling, and the cozy “home” feeling was perfect- even the beds were super comfortable!! We feel like we got our money’s worth, and then some! The staff was very easy to communicate with, and did a great job accommodating our requests; we would recommend for everyone!!!!
We had a great weekend staying at Cedar Creek Cabins near Helen, Ga. Wendy was very helpful and and quick to respond during our pre arrival. She also made some great recommendations when it came to activities and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and had everything you might need. Such a relaxing and beautiful place The kids loved the hot tub, pool table and even made a friend with a cat who visited the back porch. Can’t wait to go back again!!
This is my second time with cedar creek. We absolutely loved the hickory hill cabin, the quietness, the hot tub and the fire pit was a lot of fun. Would have liked a bigger grill for cooking. Wendy was our customer service representative she was available through text. It was very easy to reach out and ask her about any questions or concerns we had. When we had any issues she was quick to give us a resolution that was more than what we were expecting which made the stay that much better. The cabin was clean, the towels were fresh and there is plenty of room plus having the basement level for the kids to have free reign of was very nice.
Perfect getaway. My wife and I have stayed in many cabins but this one at Cedar Creek Cabins has been our favorite! It was beautiful, clean and peaceful. We love all of the amenities that it offers and it isn’t too far from Main Street in Helen. We will be booking another cabin soon! I recommend asking for Wendy as she went above and beyond for us!
My husband and I stayed in the “Sky’s the Limit”. We enjoyed very much. Very clean, it was new. The only problem in this particular cabin was there was absolutely no space to unpack and relax. We stayed 5 days, I did not want to live out of a suit case for almost a week but I had no choice. There were no dressers, drawers or even closets any where in the cabin. Not even a place to put our suitcases. We had to pull them out and place on bed multiple times daily to get dressed.My only suggestion for this particular cabin is to please, please create some kind of closet space.Thank you

Beautiful cabins. Consistently have a wonderful experience. My family and I have stayed in these beautiful cabins at least once a year for the past four years. Nearly each time we have chosen a new cabin to stay at (not because we don’t love the one we had stayed at, but because there are so many cabins to chose from). We always enjoy our stay, and always come back feeling refreshed.Just a short drive to go grocery shopping or to go sightseeing either in Helen or at nearby parks.Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin vacation - either as a family or a romantic getaway or a girls trip.
This Cabin experience was absolutely fantastic. The cabin was very clean, came with all needed accommodations, and host was very helpful with information about the area. I thought that I had booked for more nights than I did. When I realized what I had done, our host had no problems adding on an extra to make up for my mistake! Quiet, serene and all around an amazing experience! We will definitely be visiting again! 5 stars all the way!!
This was the best cabin experience ever. We intended to go to Florida but because of the tropical storm hurricane Barry we had to make a last minute change. We randomly googled cabins near Helen Georgia and found the Cedar Creek cabin rentals and looked at their website and saw the beautiful cabin contacted them that morning spoke with Wendy booked the room that same time the customer service from Wendy with excellent from the beginning to the very end. She checked on us. When we arrived at the cabin it was just as beautiful as the pictures. The location was great the cabin had everything we needed and more. And the price was great. It was a girls trip and the most memorable weve had so far. Excellent customer service.
We stayed in Pure Gold. I am giving 5 stars because the cabin and features are just as amazing as the pictures show. We had some issues with contacting Cedar Creek before our stay but customer support and responsiveness was excellent during the actual stay. Previous reviews commented on cleanliness. It has slightly improved but there were still issues that we reported. Since we saw the recent reviews, we brought some cleaning supplies with us. Overall, it was a minor inconvenience and did not impact our stay. We look forward to visiting Cedar Creek again!
Secluded and quiet. River Wilds was absolutely a dream of a cabin. Located just far enough away from it all and close enough to still have fun. It was clean and cozy with all the amenities. Highly recommend.
This was our third time staying at Cedar Creek and we plan on coming back. If you are looking for a great get-away trip to unplug and relax this is the place for you. The location is great. You feel like you are out in the country away from everything but a short 20 min drive to restaurants and grocery stores. We like to pick up food on the drive in to eat in or cook out on the grill. The smaller cabins are perfect for a honeymoon/anniversary trip and the hot tub on the deck offers an opportunity to relax in privacy or enjoy w the kids. Highly recommended!! You can’t go wrong w Cedar Creek cabins!!
Just a beautiful cabin. Spa quality amenities. We had an amazing weekend. The cabin was gorgeous and everything was so CLEAN. WiFi was speedy and the streaming Roku TVs were awesome. We enjoyed wonderful service from Wendy at Cedar Creek and the best part? Check-out was painless and easy too. You dont have to do anything, just lock the key up and go! Ill be back. Hubby agrees, Cedar Creek is now our preferred cabin rental spot!

The cabin Hickory Hill was absolutely amazing! Everyone had privacy but still spacious enough to gather together. We went on a couples trip and stayed here, and will again. The property manager was amazing and stayed in contact before and during our stay. I highly recommend staying at this affordable gem! Happy Customer!
I really love it, its too beautiful and great service. It was one of my favorite places that I visited and met there in Atlanta on my vacation.
I dont know how this place was a few years ago but now its absolutely fraudulent. First of all, these people dont issue refund and ignore any kind of messages, emails and phone calls. We rented this place 03/31/2020 right before Governors order shelter in place and we just physically and legally could not go to the cabins. We informed the owner and we got her promise that we can visit cabin any time because the dont issue refund. We agreed and understood because her business suffered the most. In November I tried to rent this place again and claimed that in April we could not visit but the owner simply ignored my messages until I said that going to police. After that she promised to refund but she never did. She is still lying about refund. I will start litigation against this business even I know its not worth it my $635. If you know my pain, feel free to reply. If you are reading and hesitating about it, you need be comfortable with loosing your money. Never had anything like this rental before and honestly, I hope I will be the last customer who got in this trap. Wendy Galloway, I waited long enough for my money and I asked you nicely to refund it.
The amenities offered were second to none compared to other establishment family has vacationed at. Other activities were in close vicinity of cabins. Family enjoyed seeing other cabins on property. Family will be vacationing here again. Have posted pictures and video to family and friends.
My husband, myself, and our baby boy stayed in Bear Hollow Cabin and it was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was secluded, spotless, and affordable... everything we were looking for! So much in fact, that we stayed an extra night! Wendy and Summer were beyond helpful! We will definitely be using Cedar Creek for trips to come!
We were in a bind having to evacuate our beach trip and opted for the mountains, Cedar Creek Cabins was SO helpful in getting us in something the same day and while we were on the road traveling. They helped me do everything via text message and phone not having to wait on emails and signature forms etc. River Wilds cabin is beautiful and we have been very comfortable here. We love that it is out in the woods and not another cabin in sight and a convenient drive to Helen and surrounding areas. We look forward to staying with them again!
Renting from Cedar Creek was truly a nightmare experience, they almost ruined our Christmas vacation. Pictures are proof of how filthy Trout Lily cabin was. No cabin should be rented out in that condition, especially during Covid. We refused to stay at the cabin and luckily, we found a hotel to accommodate us and our dog for a night while searching for an alternative cabin.Wendy offered to refund us immediately, I have texts from her assuring me the money were transferred. That was on Dec 23rd, almost a month has gone by and still waiting!Drinking glasses were missing, there were only two forks, pillows were on the floor and the sheets were rolled up and shoved in the closet to name of the few things that were wrong.Do yourself and your family a favor and stay away from this unprofessional company!
First cabin experience, and we had a great time! We stayed at the Escape cabin for a weekend. The cabin looked exactly how the pictures did online. For the most part, the cabin was clean, and all of the items that were stated to come in the cabin (trash bags, dishes etc.) were there. Architecture and layout was very nice. Cabin was easy to find and is fairly spacious and perfect for couples. Decorations were nice and rustic. Very cozy and cute! WiFi worked extremely well which was a plus. Wendy is awesome and was available for any questions, thanks so much for being a text away if needed! Great customer service. I took one star off only because we had some trouble getting the hot tub to work. Also, sheets/towels could have been a bit cleaner. It would have been great to be able to adjust the thermostat a bit past 75 also, as it was chilly. All that aside, overall it was a great experience. We loved the cabin and will definitely be back, thanks so much for a smooth and enjoyable cabin experience!😊
My family and I stayed in Tranquility 1, it was a beautiful stay. Cabin was very clean, spacious and perfect for our family! Lauren with house keeping brought extra towels for us, she was so professional and sweet. Thanks cedar creek for such an awesome get away!
We had a very relaxing time away from our work lives. The cabin was clean, comfortable and has great amenities. We enjoyed sitting on porch with our coffee in the morning. Relaxed in the hot tub in the evenings. The area also has a lot of activities for all ages. We are already planning our next trip back and will be renting from cedar creek again.
My family and I have stayed with Cedar Creek Cabin since Winter 2011 during our visit back to the States. Each of our stays at Almost Heaven, Falling Waters and Hickory Hills have been nothing but EXCEPTIONAL! The cabins are clean and properly stocked with pillows, linen, towels, dishes, etc. Each cabin is located/positioned for maximum privacy. While each of our stay have been memorable, we have shared memories such as Christmas and marriage proposal. Thanks to Cedar Creek’s wonderful staff Wendy and Tom for making this last minute stay easy and possible.
My husband and I had a quick getaway this past weekend (the first in 6 years!) and had such an amazing time! The cabin was clean and kept so nice. Wendy helped us and she was so awesome to work with. This place is amazing... we stayed this past weekend and Im writing this review on our drive home.. lol. The reservation process was very easy. Their customer service is top notch and they are very attentive and responsive. They sent us text messages with updates before, during and after check out. We were very pleased with the accommodations and attention to detail. The hot tub was running and hot when we got there. My husband approved and we are looking forward to returning this summer.
We stayed at the Escape Cabin the pictures showed in their page are exactly how the cabin is. Is just absolutely amazing for a romantic getaway. The management is great to work with and very accommodating. The cleanliness of the cabin and privacy was amazing. Everything was just OUTSTANDING!!!! We will definitely come back.
My wife and I booked the Bear Hollow cabin for our 18th anniversary this past weekend. The cabin was better than we expected. The cabin made it very easy to relax which was exactly what we needed! We will definitely use Cedar Creek Rentals in the future. Theres only a couple of negatives about this cabin that I would bring up but they arent bad enough for me not to rent again. The water pressure isnt the best if you try using the tub and shower at the same time. One person at a time and the pressure is fine. The TV in the living room is a little small to be up on the mantle. It makes it hard to see but other than that the cabin is well worth renting. Thank you Wendy for the great customer service. Our family decided to rent from Cedar Creek Cabins. Booking was a breeze and Miss Wendy and her team were very hospitable and accommodating. We stayed at Bear Creek and it was beautiful inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and the accommodation was immaculate. We loved it so much, we will be booking for a second year. If you and your family are looking for a tranquil, country get-away, we highly recommend Cedar Creek Cabins.
Let me start by saying this was by far the worse place that we have ever stayed with my family.Unfortunately we had a really bad and frustrating experience, starting by the lack of communication and work ethic from their office. I wish I can post with detail all the chaos we went through since day one that we got to this place...the cabin name is “sweet retreat” nothing “sweet” about it!The cabin is in really bad shape and conditions. Very outdated. The whole cabin looked like someone never came to clean it.There’s mold grows in the window headers also in the upstairs bathroom above the toilet. (pictures of proof), Cobb webs and dust everywhere (my son is allergic to dust, so he couldn’t stop sneezing all time the A/C would turn on) and you can even see the dust particles all over the cabin when a/c was on. Bed covers were dingy and old. Linen beds and bathroom looks very dirty, and a funky smell. Kitchen refrigerator weather strip was really dirty and cabinets overall.They are not even following their “guidelines”. They are a fraud!!! WORSE PLACE FOR VACATION RENTAL!
My Husband and I stayed at Pure Gold for our First Wedding Anniversary. What a memorable way to remember it. Hospitality was great, Wendy made sure that we were taken care of during our stay. The open floor plan was amazing, and everything in the cabin was spotless.We looked at so many different cabins before this one, but none of them compared to this little piece of heaven. Even the pictures doesnt do it justice. Loved the hot tub on the private back balcony, and the pool table was defiantly a plus. I just cannot say enough good things about our little cabin.Make sure when you stay that you sign the guest book, it was fun reading other peoples experience there. We will defiantly come back to Pure Gold again.
The cabin was great! The views and the privacy were awesome!!! We also enjoyed visiting the town of Helen. The staff (Wendy) was very helpful with getting our group’s (10 people) needs met prior to and during our stay. Will definitely book with them again.Note: If you are not looking for a true remote mountain experience then this location may not be for you. But if you are...you will absolutely love this location.
Let’s start with the positive. The cabins are lovely and very private. Where things begin to slip is when you get settled. I have stayed at a ton of cabins and never had one with so little focus on the details, from towels just being left in the dryer for me to fold, to no charcoal, dishwasher soap, or even laundry detergent.I am not asking for enough to cover my whole trip, but at least one pack to get me started. Just a major miss.In summary, the place is nice, the location is little far from Helen, but the Property Manager has been great to work with. With travelers like me just now getting back to places like this you guys need to step up your game. Stock the cabins better and please don’t make me fold towels when I first walk in the door!
This was the second time me and my family stayed with cedar Creek. The Cabins are nice and the views are beautiful. The cabins are very roomy depending on the size you get. They might need a little more up keep but still beautiful for price. The first time we stayed the coffee maker was broke. This go around we stayed in the chalet in the sky and we had no complaints. Staff seems really nice to work with and they do care about your stay and want to make things better. Will definitely be staying again when going back to Helen.
We had a fabulous weekend at the Oak Hill cabin. Tom and his team went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.
Booked a getaway to celebrate my husbands 45th Birthday! We arrived at night. It is very hard to find even with the pictures. Strongly suggest a daytime arrival. First impressions were it looks just like the photos. Everything was cleaned and ready. We did have a few hiccups like the air tub malfunctioning, but all were resolved once communicated by email. Pros - private amenities, view off balcony, peaceful setting, responsiveness; Cons - springy bed, hard to find.
We have always used Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals for our mountain getaways! Every cabin we have used has always been wonderful! The decor and locations are great for relaxing and exploring! Cabins have many amenities provided and are always clean! Wendy and all the staff have been so helpful in providing information about the cabins and fun things to do while visiting! Couldn’t ask for better service! Can’t sit for our next trip!
We rented the Escape cabin with Cedar Creek Cabin rentals and had a wonderful experience! The cabin shown in the pictures is accurate. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could want. It’s tucked away in the woods. The staff was responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the hot tub temperature and they addressed it right away. Would definitely recommend for couples!
8 years of travels to Helen,Ga and the surrounding area we have rented from Cedar Creek on a few of those reality escape weekends. Any issues we have come across none more than minor things they have worked with us to resolve. Our last stay and my most impressed was Tranquility 2. It is absolutely amazing. The privacy, the unique layout of the cabin and the overall beauty of the interior was worth the expense. We will definitely be returning customers - again and again.
Amazing stay yet again! Had to book a last minute accommodation and immediately thought of Cedar Creek! Took care of us from start to finish. Our cabin was clean and ready for us to crash that night, and when we woke up and needed a new coffee maker, it was delivered within 30 minutes and we had morning coffee on the deck! We will forever come back every time we stay in Georgia!
Booked a stay online at the Tranquility Two cabin through Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. On the day of departure, we still had not received an address, access code or any other specific details about our cabin. I called multiple times and each time the call was routed to an automatic voicemail with a different number than the one listed on the website. I also sent an email, no response. When I finally heard back from Wendy she was abrupt, rude and seemed annoyed. The instructions we received contained the incorrect house code, specified that we needed a code to get through the gate which we didnt. We found during our stay that the gate is never closed and serves no purpose. The house was not an issue...a kit type log home with wide open spaces and was adequate. However, there we no cleaning supplies, no mop, no broom, the towels were left in the dryer and were obviously old and very dingy looking. There was one pot and about 5 lids. The grill was like one you would see at a campground with no charcoal or lighter. The outdoor lights to the downstairs patio were burned out. There were limbs and debris all around the porch areas and the fire pit. There was no wood set aside inside for the fireplace or in a dry area for the fire pit and it was all soaked from rain. During our first night we had horrible wind and storms causing trees to fall and more debris to be strewn about. We called and sent texts and emails requesting a broom, but never heard back. The TVs were not working and had no instructions as to how to work them. We did get a maintenance person to come by the first night and he did show us how to work one, but it was hit or miss as to whether the other TVs would be functional. This is a portion of the unprofessional and poor quality we experienced during our stay. I know that these homes are individually owned, but the owners should be ashamed of the way this company is representing their home. We will definately not be renting from Cedar Creek Cabins in the future and will never recommend them.
In a word, incredible!This cabin and its setting coupled with the caring, communicative, and supportive nature of its staff made this experience truly blissful. It is absolutely the finest cabin experience weve ever had. The staff was close at hand without affecting the remote and tranquil nature of the stay. The cabin is state-of-the-art with all the desired creature comforts and then some. Its obvious that Cedar Creek Cabins is the top shelf choice in Georgia. Will definitely return. High praise for professionalism and customer service to Wendy (Concierge) & Billy (Maintenance).
My wife and I stayed at a Cedar Creek Cabin 9 years ago, and it was very nice. This past year we booked a cabin for us and friends. Sadly it was not a great experience. The cabin was not maintained very well, porches covered with leaves, cobwebs and lots of dog hair inside. It just looked like no one had been there for awhile. We stayed at Serenity Falls, so you may be OK at their other cabins, but at these prices Id wouldnt book unless you know someone personally who can recommend a specific cabin. The worst part was the communication. I had some questions after our stay relating to the cabin and a veteran discount, and Ive tried calling and emailing, without a response. Im really disappointed, especially after our first great experience. But we wont be booking a Cedar Creek Cabin Rental again after the very poor communication/customer service and cabin condition.
My Wife and I booked a Ceder Creek cabin to replace our honeymoon as we are planning one later on - let me tell you it was a GREAT experience! It was absolutely perfect. As a cabin for two there was no shortage of things to do inside. The views outside of the window from the bed were peaceful to wake up to and everything worked (sometimes hard to find in cabins) this was everything we could ask for. Being from Atlanta we will definitely return and use Cedar Creek Cabins as it is close enough for quick return to reality but far enough out to feel like we are in another world! Wendy has the best customer service and was so prompt and friendly in her replies even when I reached out on a Sunday evening! 10/10 100% recommend for anyone.
My husband and I rented Oasis for our anniversary weekend and we absolutely loved it! We have stayed in many cabins and this was one of our favorites! It was brand new and very clean and was perfect for the two of us. The back porch was amazing! We have already recommended this cabin to friends and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a couples getaway.
I had the pleasure of staying at Destiny for a New Year getaway.The cabin was in immaculate condition upon arrival and exceeded all expectations. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware.I opted to bring a few of my own pots/pans due to previous issues with worn cookware . However,all dishware appeared well kept. The cabin is overlooking a stream as well which was an added bonus to the wooded view.The gas fireplace and nest thermostat were able to keep the temperature of the cabin at a very comfortable level. The sauna was absolute perfection and was also equipped with a Bluetooth. The king bed was very comfortable as well. The walk in double rainfall shower speaks for itself and will literally make you consider renovating your bathroom!I was able to maintain wifi and a cellphone signal the entire stay.The door to the deck area allowed me to enjoy an amazing view each morning.The sliding screen also allowed me to enjoy a fresh breeze and rainy day as well.The cabin is located near quite a few trails.I chose Dukes Creek since Ive visited the majority of Helen trails over the years. If you forget a few items theres a family dollar with a decent selection of spices,tools,etc.Due to Covid I cooked most meals at home but Helen or Cleveland offered a variety of restaurants as well.I was able to decorate the door to the deck area to enjoy my New Year in luxury and comfort as well.I did contact management for two very minor issues and received prompt service from Wendy.I will definitely return in the near future!
Awesome staff, excellent cabins! We stayed in Serenity Falls for 5 nights, and then The Speckled Trout for 3 because we couldnt get home due to Hurricane Irma! I cant thank Wendy enough for taking care of us!!! We did not have a reservation for the additional nights and hotels were booked for miles, but she worked her magic and was able to get us into The Speckled Trout. Both cabins were spacious and clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. I will continue to use Cedar Creek Cabins for years to come!
My husband and I rented a cabin for our anniversary weekend. When we arrived at the cabin, there was a problem with it. We contacted Wendy, who immediately helped us out. She even offered to switch us to another cabin. Great customer service and great cabin (Great Escape)! We really enjoyed our stay there. This was our second time using Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals, and we definitely will be using them again.
Honestly the Modern Cabins were perfect for me and my Wife for the week, its a beautiful location and the perfect amenities. It was exactly what we were looking for. Wendy had amazing customer service and even helped us with a last second decision to stay by finding another Cabin to stay in. Was a great experience and will look forward to doing it again.
My husband and I went to Helen for a getaway weekend. There was an incident with the cabin we had reserved but Wendy, cabin rep, took care of us. She placed us in the Bobcat Lodge and we fell in loved with the cabin! So spacious and clean. There was a waterfall behind our cabin plus the beautiful scenery. Wendy check on us during our stay to make sure everthing was pleasant. Thank you Wendy and Cedar Creek for providing excellent service and for making our weekend extra special!! We will definitely be using your company again.
We arrived Friday evening to discover that the cabin we booked was already occupied. We called Wendy repeatedly but she would not pick up the phone. Only after being contacted by another property owner in the neighborhood did she respond. When we spoke with Wendy, she initially said she had no idea who was in the cabin and could not remove them from the cabin. She advised that we could just book another weekend. She then offered to pay for a hotel for the night and she would find us a cabin for the second night. The next morning we called repeatedly to obtain the address for the cabin. We did not get the address for the cabin until well after 2 pm. Not certain if she will reimburse for the hotel or not. As of today nothing has been reimbursed.
I stayed in Cedar Creeks Holiday cabin for a weekend getaway with my husband and some friends. The staff was incredible - they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It really is a home away from home. We cooked our meals in the cabin, played pool, and relaxed in the hot tub. We even explored nearby Helen and Anna Ruby Falls - highly recommend that.Cedar Creek offers the best of both worlds - finding respite up in the mountains without having to sacrifice the modern amenities that we all love. I wish every travel experience could be as pleasant as ours was with Cedar Creek. I will absolutely stay there again!
My wife and I love staying with Cedar Creek Rentals. We’ve stayed in multiple cabins over the last 10+ years. Our latest experience staying in the River Wilds cabin was yet another great experience. The cabin is tucked away on a wooded hillside and provides all the upgraded amenities weve come to expect. I’m already looking forward to our next cabin getaway adventure!
We stayed in the beautiful Holiday cabin over the weekend, and I have to say I was very impressed. The cabin was clean, spacious, and modern. It had all the luxuries set in a quiet, nature setting in the woods. It even had a hot tub and a pool table! There was more than enough space for everyone to cook and not run into each other. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be returning. I would recommend Cedar Creek to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway from their busy lives.
We have traveled to Cedar Creek cabins the last two years for Spring Break. The cabins are extremely spacious and very accommodating for big groups. The customer service has always been excellent and extremely personable. We have stayed in the Holiday and the Summit. The Summit has amazing views and the Holiday has a cute water stream trail off the back of the house which is perfect for kids. It’s very close to downtown Helen, zip lining, hiking, horseback riding and super cute vineyards. We always enjoy our visit and look forward to returning every year.
I booked a cabin for my husband and a friend for a weekend getaway since I was unable to go with him. I booked a cabin specifically because it had two bedrooms/two baths so each would have their own space. Upon arrival, the cabin was without running water. The property manager was difficult to get ahold of and unhelpful. She told my husband she would send maintenance out while he went to dinner and when they got back and the water still wasnt working her response was that the owner had sent her a video of running water. After pushing, she offered to put my husband and friend in a substitute cabin for the night and would call the next day with an update on the water. She did not call the next day. The substitute cabin was a one room, romantic honeymoon cabin with no privacy including a see-through shower out in the open. One would have to go outside while the other person showered. It was not comparable and only had 1 bed. I tried multiple times to reach out to the cabin company, including leaving 2 voicemails and responding to their How was your stay? email. I gave them time to respond and make it right before writing this review, but I still have yet to receive a response. To say I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the experience and company would be an understatement. My husband and friend decided to come back Saturday and forgo the second night since the cabin didnt work. I will never use or recommend Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals.
We enjoyed our stay with cabin creek rentals in Whispering Pines cabin. This was the first time in a long time we had our children and some grandchildren on a family vacation. The cabin was very welcoming, clean and accomodated all our needs. Some played a game of pool and enjoyed the hot tub while others checked out the local town. We were only 10 minutes from horseback riding and zip lining. And after a picnic lunch enjoyed tubing. It was so nice to come back to the cabin grill steaks and enjoy some games with the family. The cabin decor was wonderful. Beds comfortable. Jacuzzi tub and large shower in our bedroom. The washer and dryer was a big plus also after coming in from tubing! Will definitely be coming back. Best vacation ever, was said by all from the youngest to the oldest!!
Great cabin. We just thought for the money we paid the kitchen should have been better equipped. There were six or eight coffee mugs but only two dinner plates. Cookware set was missing lids. One eye on the stove was out.
My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay in the Tranquility 2 cabin. The loft style upper lever allowed my wife and I space while the kids enjoyed the lower level. The cabin was well equipped with all of the needed necessities. This is our second stay with Cedar Creek Cabins (Lazy Bear) and we are even more impressed than our first stay. Looking forward to our next stay.
Just spent the weekend in the Allure cabin. We were impressed with the cabin and staff at Cedar Creek Cabins. Wendy was very accommodating and the cleaning crew was very friendly. The cleaning crew couldn’t get into the cabin when needed so they were still there when we arrived. They were really polite and Wendy made it up to us and let us have a later check out. We will definitely be using Cedar Creek Cabins again.
The cabin was very nice but extremely dirty and poorly maintained. We had 3 forks, coffee maker had old and new coffee grounds all over filter, no sheets on beds, litter in front of cabin and garbage can still full and smelly, hot tub had things floating and sitting on bottom and there were no hand towels, face towels, but we did find bath towels left in dryer since previous Mondays cleaning chart. Pictures are of shower and hot tub and filter. Charged for 3 nites and only stayed 2 and was told I would be credited and 6 weeks later still waiting
After a “day trip” to north Georgia last weekend, my husband and I found ourselves wanting to stay overnight. Since we’d not initially planned on staying overnight, we were both highly doubtful that we’d be able to find a last-minute cabin rental on a Saturday afternoon at 3-4pm. We both started searching online for rentals in the north GA/Cleveland/Helen area, and came across the website for Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. I called their number and did not immediately get an answer; however, in less than 60 seconds, I received a text from Summer @ Cedar Creek Cabins, informing me that their phone lines were down but that she would love to assist us with our needs. Within minutes, Summer had the perfect cabin rental located for us, and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. We stayed in Bella Vista in the Cleveland/Helen area, which was absolutely breathtaking and BEYOND perfect!! It was exactly what you’d imagine a “perfect mountain hideaway” would be—quiet, picturesque, and all-around total serenity. I’ve never experienced such an utterly seamless booking/rental process as I did with Cedar Creek Rentals—it was by far the smoothest rental transaction EVER—thanks to Summer and her diligence! Our family rented Whispering Pines cabin from Cedar Creek cabins for Thanksgiving this year and we had a wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and ready for us to spend the week together! The cabin was great for the whole family and though I did not rent it because it was handicap accessible, it was a super plus for my husband’s old football knees! He used the ramp and didn’t have to climb stairs carrying groceries and luggage in and out! Ample room to be together but also space to spread out! Beautiful view and creek attracted wildlife! Wendy at Cedar Creek was available anytime and even checked on us when we arrived and when we left! If we needed anything, we just had to call. I highly recommend Cedar Creek and we will definitely be back! Thanks for helping us make some new memories!!
We stayed in the Oasis cabin for 5 nights. Absolutely loved it! The cabin was just like the photos. It was also very clean. During our long stay they even asked if wed like for them to change the sheets and clean the hot tub. Well definitely be returning to Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals.
We love Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals!! Weve been using them every December, for the past 5 years! Its just a short drive from Atlanta and the cabins are awesome! We have stayed in a few different cabins and they were all very clean and comfortable. The staff is great too! There are several available just a short drive from Helen. Its so much fun to run into town for a bit then come back to the cabin and play a game of pool next to a warm fire. And whats better than a soak in the hot tub before bed to really help you sleep great...
We had a wonderful weekend at Moose Hollow. Perfect cabin for a couples getaway. My wife and I loved the decor and appreciated the private screened deck with a hot tub to relax in. You have a full kitchen if you like to cook, or a short drive to a wide variety of restaurants in Helen. There is a pool table to enjoy if you so desire. Satellite TV and WiFi service in a remote area....Very nice. The owners communication is the best weve ever had while staying in cabins. Just stay there... Youll love it!
We stayed at the Oak Hill Cabin, and it was everything! It was so peaceful and relaxing. From the hot tub to the pool table, we had an amazing time. We loved loved the dual shower heads and the bathroom upstairs; it was one of our favorite spots. Also, anything we needed or any questions that we had, Wendy was available and on top of things. The customer service and communication that we experienced throughout our trip without actually meeting someone was superb. Thank you! We will definitely be renting again from Cedar Creek Cabins.
There is not enough words to describe how horrible was my experience with this people ( Cedar Creek ) starting from the supervisor lady, that have the worse customer service ever.. They cancel our cabin in the las moment, literally they canceled less than 24 hours before our check in, we was on our way already because we are from Miami, when they called to tell us that the cabin was canceled. We ended up sleeping in the car the first night with 2 kids. Please be aware of this company, they dont care at all about the customers, STAY AWAY!!!!!
My stay at the summit cabin was amazing!!! I was here for labor day weekend with some friends and everything went perfectly well. Wendy was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that I had. It was my first time in a cabin and I loved it, I will definitely be using cedar creek for the future.One thing we were missing was a dish rack to dry the dishes since we have to wash them, but other than that it was great!
Our family stayed at Oak Hill cabin, and we had such a good time we stayed 2 extra days. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed walking down to the creek. The cabin was nice and neat. We look forward to going back!
This was by far one of our favorite family vacations. We stayed at Gingerbread Hause and it was simply AMAZING! It was more than likely the last vacation we will be able to take my elderly grandparents with declining health on and it was so perfect and so memorable! Wendy, the individual who helped us, is an absolute rock star and on top of everything! As for the cabin, it FAR exceeded our expectations! The pictures dont do it justice! It is the most peaceful and serene place I have ever visited. It was super clean and well appointed with anything and everything you could dream of! They paid attention to every single detail! The winery within walking distance was a plus also! I highly recommend this cabin and rental agency! We will be back!Hope N.
I booked River Wilds as a surprise anniversary weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I. I have to say it completely surpassed my expectations. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we LOVED the privacy with it being in the woods. The hot tub was fantastic in the 29 degree weather. It was the most relaxing weekend after a long week at work. The drive to Helen wasnt bad at all either. Im definitely looking forward to going back to this cabin again.
My wife and I stayed in the Great Escape Cabin. We have two kids and haven’t had time just to ourselves in a long time, this cabin was the perfect place. You can tell they designed it just for couples. The hot tub on the deck is the completely private, indoor whirlpool tub is huge. The shower was the most incredible shower I’ve ever been in. It’s bigger than our entire bathroom at home, absolutely perfect for a weekend trip with your spouse. The king bed was extremely comfy, sauna, two TVs complete with directv and Netflix. Pool table and checkers table we used to play cards on was fun. It’s a 30 minute drive to Helen, but if you are looking for a few days to rest and be with your spouse you really don’t need to leave the cabin. The company is great to deal with and quick to answer any questions. We will definitely stay here again.
Our family took decided to take a last minute weekend trip. Wendy was very helpful and easily helped us find a cabin that was perfect for our family. She communicated with us as needed and checked on us throughout the stay. We stayed at Hickory Hill and everything was just right, including the price. My wife and I needed a getaway for the weekend, it was last minute and most places did not offer same day booking. I contacted Cedar Creek and they not only booked us right away, but they had the cabin looking amazing. The nicest I have ever booked and a great deal. 25 minute drive into Helen, GA but well worth it. All the couples cabins were in one area but were set-up for privacy on the deck and hot tub. We will definitely book again and are already spreading the word.
The birthday trip for my wife started out with a few hiccups, but ended up being a great stay! Our initial cabin had some issues that could have made for bad weekend. We worked with Wendy the manager and she took care of us right away. The upgrade cabin and the great/fast customer service she provided made up for all. We had a great time along with some awesome views... we will come back for sure!
I rarely write reviews however, I want to save someone from making the same mistake I did and booking with this company. The Oasis cabin was disgusting & infested with flies. I booked for 3 nights & only stayed one. I understand a fly here & there, however this cabin was filled with them. We couldnt even sleep without flies flying on the bed, the couch, in the shower basically all over. When I called and complained the lady was very rude & told me just bc the cabin has flies does not mean its gross. They wanted to send a maintenance man. He can not fix a infestation problem over night so that was pointless. They also refused to give a refund which at that point I didnt care bc it was disgusting and I wasnt staying another second. This picture was of the flies that were killed within the 15 minutes I was waiting for the front desk to call me back so you could imagine how many were actually in the cabin that we couldnt get to.
My husband and I rented Dreamscape for our stay just recently. On our way up there we got a text from Wendy saying that we would have to be moved to Destiny or Oak Hill due to the hot tub not being operable. Destiny was the cabin i initially wanted anyway so i was super excited to be able to be moved to that one. Wendy was just a text away for us the entire stay! The cabin was very clean, booking was easy and not stressful at all. The directions to the cabin were easy enough to follow. Everything was great! The only thing i wish i could have changed was the length of our stay & maybe some kind of driveway lights or something out there once you turn off of May White because driving back to the cabin when it got dark gave me complete anxiety. Other than that everything was awesome!! I definitely recommend staying at one of the cabins!
We stayed in Allure, beautiful location. Super comfy bed, LIKE VERY COMFY lol. Sucked coming home to our queen bed 😂. The creek is right by the cabin, in the mornings we could drink coffee and sit on the little rocking chair swing they have on the back deck and just enjoy the sound and view. The cabin was very clean, kitchen had a lot of items to cook with (which I used a lot). Coffee pot was great. Spa on the cabin deck was amazing, as well as the huge garden tub. We LOVED how close each town was, Helen, Cleveland, and another one I can’t remember but everything was so very close to where we stayed. Wendy will definitely take care of you!
We stayed at the sweet retreat cabin in Helen, Ga and it was absolutely amazing! The view from the main bedroom balcony was honestly just breathtaking. The cabin was really clean and everything was completely as advertised. Normally I expect the photos to be a little misleading but this time everything was actually in line. The proximity to Helen and all the attractions was a bonus. The whole time we were really making plans for our next visit lol. I give this 5 stars because I truly had a good time. Thank you cedar creek for a great time! Cant wait to be back!
We went to a Cedar Creek Cabin for our 1 year anniversary. Everything was PERFECT. The cabin was spotless and tranquil. So much fun! My husband says it was our best vacation yet! We will definitely be returning soon! Thanks so much, Wendy!
It was beautiful! Not only the cabin and view, but the interior as well! The decorations were beautiful, and the owner was so accommodating! It had everything we needed, including pots and pans, trashbags, and even dish and hand soap! It was very clean and well cared for. We wont book with another cabin rental because this experience was just so fantastic. All the other reviews I feel were unfair. So glad we booked this one.
We stayed at whispering waters and it was amazing! The cabin was nice and clean, rooms were nice and all in all it was very spacious for the 4 of us plus two kids! Summer and Wendy at Cabin Creek were great! Very accommodating! We had an awesome time and we will definitely be going back!
Had a wonderful weekend at the Trout Lily. This was our first time staying at a cabin, it was definitely an experience! The place was spotless, comforters soft and clean. During the pandemic, staying home is the new norm. Hickory Hills, was a perfect location for a quick getaway. This location was spacious, for social distances, still able to have fun. Accommodating for all needs and entertainment from the pool table, to fire pit,full size kitchen, jacuzzi to laundry room. Just a great place. I will recommend to others and look forward to booking again in the future.
We booked our cabin for the Labor Day weekend in Helen with Cedar River Cabin rentals. The cabin was outstanding and Cedar River went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Fast forward a week and Hurricane Irma headed our way. We were ordered a mandatory evacuation. Instead of a hotel with my husband, elderly parents, and two small children we opted to return to the beautiful mountains. I didnt hesitate to call Cedar Creek. We booked a different cabin and just our luck was hit by Irma when she turned westward. We were without power for 3 days, with 2 trees blocking our way out. Cedar Creek brought us firewood, water, and all of the necessities we could need. Once another cabin became available they moved us right in. Cedar Creek went above and beyond expectations. I would not rent from any other company. Thank you so much for your great hospitality and for making a bad situation into a good one!
I took an impromptu trip to the whispering pines cabin for the weekend with my son and we had such an incredible time. The whole cabin was immaculate and very clean. My son and my friends son both enjoyed the hot tub and the cute bunk beds. We had everything we needed for a much needed getaway and I will definitely be back soon!
We had a great time in the Paradise Cabin this past weekend! Wendy was very helpful picking out a cabin for us! There is a beautiful creek/waterfall behind the cabin that you could always hear flowing! There was plenty of room for 2 families of 4. We liked that we could go see the sites and activities in Helen but go back to our cabin in the woods away from all the hustle and bustle.
We stayed at Hickory Woods Cabin for our honeymoon! Our experience from the beginning was awesome! Fantastic customer service! It poured rain almost our entire trip but we didn’t care, the fireplace, comfy accomodations, and romantic hot tub made it the perfect place! We are coming back each year at our anniversary! We rented the Radiance cabin with Cedar Creek Cabin rentals in Helen, GA. The cabin was new, clean and amazing. It was a new beautiful open floor plan with a jacuzzi tub, sauna, huge walk-in shower and outdoor hot tub...even had a washer and dryer. We had an issue with the sound on the tv, but maintenance came right away and fixed even though it was after hours. We had our 2 kids with us! 😉The towels did have a cigar smell to them, not sure what that was about, but that’s something minor and we did have a wash n dryer so we could wash them. Our stay would have been amazing, but weather was definitely not on our side...our kids really wanted to go horseback riding and/ or four wheeling and everything was closed! We look forward to coming back when we can be sure to enjoy the activities as well or come just my husband and I!
Refreshed! What an amazing little get away. We stayed in Destiny and we didn’t leave the entire time. The cabin was a great layout and sat on a beautiful hill with a stream below. The dishes were clean when we arrived and the cabin had all the pots and pans we needed to cook with while we were there. I look forward to going back and working with Cedar Creek Cabins in the future.
First time renting through Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. Stayed at their cabin, Bella Vista. It was a great experience. Very easy to book with and they were very responsive to questions prior to, during, and after our stay. The cabin was beautiful with a great view and there was plenty to do in Helen! Will definitely rent through Cedar Creek again for my next cabin rental!
My weekend vacation was great!!!! My fiancé had the time of her life. The best part of the trip was the customer service. Wendy demonstrated the best customer service that I’ve ever received!! Wendy Galloway is the WORST!!! She’s a nasty unprofessional crook. She doesn’t respond to phone calls or emails. She gave us the run around for months hoping that she could keep our money. After my friends and I drove over an hour, we got to the cabin only to find another family in our cabin. Wendy lied saying tnat she didn’t know who was in the cabin. She lied saying that if we stayed in hotel for that night she’d reimburse us, but of course weve not heard from her. Only because we called the authorities to file a civil complaint, she instantly called offering a cabin for one day. The. Cabin was decent but didnt have window treatment, no extra towels, clogged up toilet no broom, toilet paper etc. Also, the hot tub overflowed resulting in calling maintenance, unfinished bathroom with no tub or shower on lower level. This was the worst cabin experience ever!!!! We planned this trip way back in March right before the pandemic so we couldn’t go on our original date. Wendy turned what should’ve been a girls trip into a weekend of hell. If you’re planning on going to a cabin, I advise that you run away from Cedar Creek. We will never go back to this company.
Best and easy cabin rental out there!! My brother and I rented one of the Cedar Creek Cabins as a surprise for our parents 37 year wedding anniversary. They helped me pick the cabin best suited my parents and our budget. Unfortunately, on the day my parents were suppose to arrive at the cabin, a huge storm came in. (It was the week that the city they live in were experiencing multiple tornadoes.) My dad called to ask if they could move the dates from a Weds-Fri to a Thurs-Sat. (arriving at the cabin a day later and leaving a day later due to the storms). The original cabin they had booked was also booked for that Sat. so that cabin wouldnt be able to do the new dates. But Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals worked with my parents (calling and emailing, keeping them in the loop) and let them stay in a different cabin, (a tad bit more expensive, but better suited, couples get-a-away cabin) with no issue, and no extra charge! With the hustle and bustle of todays society, it is a breath of fresh air to come across a business that still treats their customers as people and actually cares. My parents were extremely pleased with their stay and raves to family and friends about their experience. After hearing how well they took care of my parents and how nice and up-kept their cabins are, some of our extended family are planning to rent from Cedar Creek Cabins (if they havent already lol). Thank you for helping my brother and I give our parents a much needed and unforgettable anniversary gift, we are forever grateful! Keep doing what youre doing Cedar Creek, you will continue to have our business!
This was an amazing experience for my fiance and I. I rented the Enchantment cabin for 3 nights from August 20-23 for his upcoming birthday. The reservation process was quick and the website was easy to navigate. I was very thankful for the informational emails that were sent to put my mind at ease since this was my first time booking a cabin.When we first walked in it was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin looked exactly as it was shown in the pictures on their website,warm and inviting. The lights were on and there was music playing softly in the background. We are very thorough so immediately after bringing in our things we started to inspect the entire cabin.Upon inspection we were pleased to find no left over debris from previous renters. There were plenty of toiletries for our entire stay and the cabin was pretty clean. I understand everyone has a different opinion about what clean means so let me start by saying we are clean freaks so pretty clean is great! There were only a few things that made this rating 4 stars instead of 5.Cons:-The ice dispenser on the refrigerator had alot of mold/mildew on it as well as the inside of the doors to the fridge. I used a small cup to scoop ice out of the ice maker inside of the freezer instead.-The hot tub had something white and cloudy/slimy looking inside of it and had an unpleasant odor. But it didnt make too much of a difference because it didnt work at all anyway.-There is a gazebo above the jacuzzi tub and I noticed the tiles on the roof of it were extremely dusty.-Lastly, the double doors that lead to the back deck are not secure. We locked it and could literally pull it right open.Other than those few things our stay was truly a one of a kind experience. It was definitely worth the money. It was only 10 minutes away from Helen which was nice because it was so secluded and no traffic! We got to see our very first solar eclipse and had a very relaxing and romantic vacation. His favorite part was the pool table which was a ton of fun and mine was the huge jacuzzi tub! It was quiet and beautiful and we will most definitely come back again soon!
My husband and I stayed in Hickory Woods for our anniversary weekend. It was great! The bed was super comfy, and the sheets were so soft. Everything was very clean and modern, and you could tell the cabin was well cared-for. The canin was also well stocked with basic kitchen items like dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Hot tub was pre-warmed for us, too! We had one little issue where the door code didnt work, but we texted the property management, and they got back to us and fizef the issue within 2 minutes. Excellent service! We definitely want to go back again and rent a larger cabin with our kids.
Me and my husband recently booked a weekend getaway in the Enchantment cabin with Cedar Creek and we were super happy with everything from the cabin to the customer service. of course I had a few questions and they were promptly answered via text. We actually went to an incorrect address and the lady helping us responded quickly and even asked me to text her when we arrived so she wouldnt worry! The cabin was secluded but yet so close to town. It was clean and fully stocked with the essentials. We definitely will be back!
We stayed at Deer Crossing for an end of summer weekend and everything was amazing! Great communication from the management via text - very responsive and proactive. They even came out immediately to provide a replacement pool stick as one didn’t have a great tip, again, amazing! Cabin was great, clean, comfortable, and just as was described and in pictures, can’t say enough good things...we enjoyed so much we are planning to move our entire Thanksgiving Holiday with extended family to a Cedar Creek Cabin 🦃
Wendy was amazing. Treated us with the best customer service we have ever had. She went well out of her way to accommodate us with our honeymoon even with it being such late notice. The cabin was wonderful and would definitely recommend, and we will definitely be stay again.
Whispering Pines Cabin was an excellent choice for our family. We took my Mom who is handicapped. The cabin was very accommodating for her. It was well stocked and very clean. The staff was more than willing to help us with anything we might need. The owner went out of his way to ensure that we would have wonderful memories. We will definitely return to Whispering Pines.

We had a preplanned vacation and Irma showed up and chased us all the way up to our romantic cabin in the woods and no kidding, we had no power. Wendy was amazing and a little over 24 hours later we were snug as a bug in a well functioning beautiful upgrade. We understand the affect mother nature can have on the earth especially in rural areas and Cedar Creek Cabins went above and beyond to ensure the vacation we planned and dreamed of for so long came to fruition. We are grateful and would highly recommend a stay with Cedar Creek Cabins!!!
Went for an anniversary trip with my boyfriend to Cedar Creek and stayed in Great Escape. The cabin was beautiful and clean, we had few complaints and neither of us wanted to leave when it came time for check-out. We took full advantage of everything provided at Cedar Creek and loved it. I would definitely recommend it to other couples.
Our stay at Hickory Hill cabins was absolutely wonderful. The mountains, woods, and river provided a most peaceful and tranquil get away. The beautiful cabin was private, clean and specious. It had a huge fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, pool table, and everything you need for your stay. We look forward to our return visit when will be enjoying many of the outdoor activities on site and very close by. Theres so much to do at Cedar Creek yet it is also a place to go to simply reset, reflect, and relax. I cant wait to go back!
The cabin Oak Hill, is absolutely beautiful. But, when we arrived it was not clean. We found trash on the table and on the floor from a previous guest, jacuzzi was visibly dirty to the point we wouldnt even use, it is very dusty, especially ceiling fans and counters. We also ordered firewood and smores to be delivered which never came. Pool table is in a cramped location where you can barely play. We found towels in the washer downstairs, and had to dry and fold them ourselves. It could have been a better experience but they have to step up their game.
This was an excellent vacation spot. My wife and I had not had a vacation in close to river years, between work, school, and kids it just had not happened. Last minute things lined up and we were able to take a few days for ourselves. We found the Cedar Creek Cabins in north Georgia and decided that’s where we would go. The online process for booking and payment was straight forward and easy to navigate and very user friendly. During and after reservations were made the staff very quickly made contact via email with information, directions, and all the instructions needed for access and use of the cabin. On the day of arrival, staff made contact via email and text message to make sure we were on track to arrival and also to see if we needed anything. During our stay they did not harass us with unwanted questions like other facilities/companies have done, however, when contacted with questions they responded almost immediately (within approx. 3mins.) on the day of departure they made contact via text again to see if there was anything we needed and to thank us for choosing them for our vacation. As for the cabin and amenities themselves. Everything was top notch. The cabin was clean and put together, fresh toilet paper on the rolls, clean hot tub, all beds made, sauna clean and dried and ready for use, patios cleaned and swept off, trash taken out, dishwasher emptied, and all of it. At each point in the cabin where an arriving couple or family might have a question there was an instructional page that was posted that addressed directions of use and any troubleshooting that may be needed (no troubleshooting was needed as everything worked first time go.) Overall this was the best cabin rental that we have ever done and we will be returning, hopefully sooner than 5x year. Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful vacation y’all were amazing!!!!
We contacted this company and requested a cabin in a very short notice. They were very accommodating! We were able to get a wonderful cabin at a fair rate. They offered suggestions for fun things to do while visiting Helen. Our cabin was just as advertised. It was secluded, clean and the beds were super comfy. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future!

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary in the Hickory Woods cabin. This is the perfect place for a couple wanting to get away from it all for a couple of days!! Hot tub, pool table, fireplace and privacy! Very roomy and one of the more upscale cabins weve stayed at in Helen. Would most definitely come back!
Cedar Creek Cabins are amazing. These are really luxury houses with all the amenities rather than just cabins. I really enjoyed my stay and the cabins had everything I could ever want and were very luxurious and let me enjoy nature while pampering myself and had everything my family could have needed during our stay and many things I never even thought of. The porches were gorgeous with very nice hot tubs and pool tables for fun. Cabin staff was great and supportive while we were.
Great cabins for great prices and for great people! Have a big family or some friends, they have a variety of Cabins to choose from. My girlfriend and I stayed in a one bedroom cabin called Allure and it was beautiful. A 10 min drive to Helen, GA. Great big windows which was relaxing to watch the rain in for the hour it did rain. I already know that both of us want to go back and definitely will go back withing the years following our visit. Great Job and keep it up!
I can not express how pleased I am with my stay, we drove 5 hours to our cabin and when we got there not only was it beautiful but it was so clean and inviting, we didnt feel the need to rush around and sanitize because it smelled fresh and everything was pleasingly clean from windows to toilets it was great. We really did enjoy our stay and a step out of reality at the bear creek cabin.
My Fiance and I stayed at the Bear’s Den for our anniversary and wow we loved it! The location is great, the bed was so comfortable and the cabin was very clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplaces. On our checkout day the lady was so nice and told us to take our time leaving because she didnt have anyone checking in after us. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be coming back!
As usual we loved our stay at Cedar Creek! Beautiful new cabins with excellent locations and excellent customer service. They make the cabins very easy to find and access by sending the exact coordinates and cabin information. We are already planning our next trip to go back in a few weeks.
My family just returned from an awesome week in the cabin Inspiration. I have 7 children, ages 5-15 and we had the best time. The cabin was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. It was quiet and very peaceful. We will be back!
Awesome experience!!!! Wendy took good care of my friend for their anniversary weekend. First let me start by stay she stayed in contact with us the whole time we was there because it had snowed an the power had went out!!!! She upgraded our cabin free of charge to another one That was even better !!!! We also left our wedding rings she got them for us and mailed them back ..... the overall experience was 10+star from the cabin to the owner they are the best we will back in a couple of months !!!!! ITS A MUST COME SEE EXPERIENCE
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at one of the Cedar Creek cabins. Amanda Seabolt was extremely friendly and even offered a free nights stay. Everything was very Clean and nice when we got there. It was a spur of the moment getaway for my wife and I. I booked the Cabin the same day that we arrived. Amandas Customer Service was second to none as she was helpful through out the booking process. We will be returning time and time again due to the kind and helpful service, the Prices and the cleanliness. As a Pastor and a Business owner I highly recommend booking your next Getaway with Amanda at Cedar Creek cabins. You will not be disappointed with the professionalism or the Cabins that are very well updated and relaxing.
Went up to Cedar Creek with a large group. The manager Wendy, was very accommodating and made sure our stay was the best it could be. She even changed one of our cabins so that the people there would have a better stay, free of any charge. It was an amazing time and I would recommend them highly. Cannot wait to return.
Deer Crossing, The house itself was beautiful. We did arrive about 30 minutes early we called and they said it was fine. The house was not clean. It was like it was a quick wipe down just enough that they thought they could get away with. There were five people in our party, in the house were four towels and two washcloths. There was not a kitchen towel, not a dishwashing towel or sponge, not a hot pad to be able to remove anything from the oven. The oven was dirty, the drawer under the oven was dirty with large black pieces of something and potato chips. The toilet on the main floor was black, The floors had not been swept, they were so much wrong, the TVs did not work, for the living room TV thank goodness we had someone in our party that knew how to download a program that we can watch TV in the living room. The main floor bedroom all we had was Netflix. You could not watch the TV upstairs. We were going to leave our experience in the little guest book but there were so many pages ripped out that we thought ours would be ripped out also. We have reached out to the property manager with still no response. We do a lot of traveling and we love the Helen area, but we will never stay with this company again.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and experience with Cedar Creek Cabin rentals! The booking process was easy and the cabin description was accurate. The cabin we stayed in, Radiance, was not only beautiful but also comfortable and impressive! We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend Cedar Creek Cabin rentals to everyone!
Radiance was the perfect weekend romantic getaway!!! The cabin, hot tub, sauna and hydrotherapy tub were all amazing and made for such a relaxing time. The wooded view from the porch made it feel like we really got away from busy city life. We will definitely be back!Nice additions would be a hair dryer (I forgot to bring one), a salt shaker (also forgot to bring and there was only pepper stocked) and more silverware so you don’t have to do dishes every time you eat. (There were only 2 forks) :-)
My wife, 3 kids and I stayed in Holiday for a week and it was great. Cabins were very clean and had no problems. The peace and tranquility of the North Georgia Mtns was just what the doctor ordered. My wife and I are already planning a return visit. Wendy was amazing from booking to check out. Whether youve never visited Helen, Ga or have been there numerous times,these are definitely the people to stay with when you do.
My bf and I stayed in Bears Den cabin for my birthday get-away. Everything was fantastic and just as advertised! Beautiful inside and out .. completely stocked with all your needs (maybe bring along your own dish sponges, the one left was used). The only disappointment was the grill at this cabin. It was dirty and quite rusted. Staff was a little hard to get in touch with prior to arrival. But when we got locked out, they answered immediately and helped us. We did not use it because of that. Otherwise, great stay and we WILL be going back!!
This is the most unprofessional business you can rent from! Do your self a favor and seek lodging else where. I booked a cabin with this company for a surprise mini vacation with my husband. We get to the cabin and there is already a car there. I call the company and no one knew who the car belonged to. I was told to leave go get dinner and they would call me after they called the owner and cleaned it again. Once they called me I was informed it was the owners sister and they could not make them leave. I was told I would have to choose another cabin. The attendant sent me a link to another cabin and we took it as it was already very late in the afternoon. When we arrived the hot tub was cold. I called once again only to be told I would need to turn the breaker to it on. We left to grab dinner and walk around. We were gone almost four hours and when we returned it was still at 69 degrees. I once again text and sent in a maintenance request which, did not get answered until the next day. My husband and I cleaned the filter and it started heating. It went into an overheat status. So, once again we could not use it. The Jacuzzi tub kept throwing a breaker so we got afraid to use that as well. There was no waterfall feature as there was in the other cabin. That was a huge disappointment, because it was one of the main reasons I rented the first cabin. We go to make coffee and the filter baskets have holes all in it. I spent a good portion of my morning cleaning an over flow mess of coffee. House keeping lacks a lot to be desired also. There was mold and mildew around every tub. Everything was dusty. The floor needed a good mopping. This was a big let down, especially for the prices they charge. Another heads up most roads are not paved. They are mud and rock. If I could give negative stars I would. ALL RENTERS BEWARE!
We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The owner was so helpful. He messaged me several times to make sure we were having a good time and to see if we needed anything. I’ll definitely be telling all of our friends about your wonderful mountain getaway!! Loved it!!
My boyfriend Chad and I just spent 2 days in the couples retreat cabin. We absolutely loved it! Couldn’t find anything wrong. The cabin was a close distance to town and to Helen, but was very private and quiet. Upon arrival the hot tub was already hot and bubbling, and the cabin was very clean. We will be returning soon 😊
My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Destiny cabin! We enjoyed the nice warm jacuzzi, watching tv in the living room, playing pool, and our nice comfortable king size bed. Wendy, from cabin creek rentals made sure we had directions to our cabin, we were able to check in nicely, that everything was to our liking, and that we had a smooth check out as well. We look forward to coming back soon!
My husband and I stayed at Pure Gold cabin and it was absolutely beautiful! The booking process was a breeze, immediately after we received detailed instructions on how to check in and directions which I appreciated. We had no issues at all the only thing we experienced was when we arrived our access code to get inside the cabin wasn’t working but it was fixed by cedar creek immediately after we called them! No cell service at the cabin but WIFI was amazingly fast and everything was clean and in proper working condition. This cabin is very conveniently located 15-20 mins from Helen, GA just far enough away to feel private and secluded. There is enough amenities in the cabin to keep you entertained; jacuzzi, pool table, sauna, whirlpool tub, fire pit, WIFI, satellite TV, etc. 10/10 would stay here again and would recommend to anyone!! Ive never rented a cabin before but my girlfriend insisted I could use a break from the fast life. Im so happy we decided to go with Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. Our group stayed in Hickory Hill. Its a beautiful, massive cabin with 7 beds! It was perfect for a quick get away weekend. It wont be our last time there!
Here is a list of issues we encountered:-No towels or washclothes- Nothing was left for us in the dryer as we were told and the owner did not correct this when brought to their attention.- Trash bin was full and brought bears to our cabin one night- Hot tub was not cleaned before we arrived. There was actually something left in it from the previous renter.- No soap and no one brought any after this was brought to the owners attention- Not all the pool balls were there when we arrived and we didnt get to enjoy the pool table- The kitchen has roaches and prevented us from using the kitchen- There was used coffee grounds left in the coffee pot- There were greasy, dirty dishes in the cabinet- There was only a partially used roll of toilet tissue left in the cabin and the owner didnt correct this when brought to their attention. We had to drive to a store in the middle of the night.- The fireplace didnt workWe basically didnt get to enjoy ANYTHING that lead me to renting this particular cabin. It was very disappointing as this was our honeymoon weekend.
We stay in 2 different cabins every year for the last five years. The experience is always wonderful. This year Alpine-A Frame cabin was beautiful and everything one could hope for. Perfect for big family or large group! Wendy is exceptional! Any questions,concerns or request, she is personable and quick to respond! We will be back this Nov. Or Dec.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Great Escape Cabin. It was very nice and clean! Wendy was amazing with getting me in as a last minute booking also. The customer service and stay was simply amazing and I will definitely be returning and also referring my friends to Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals.
Amazing experience at the BobCat Lodge. The place was very spacious and clean as pictured. The kids loved the game room and was used to it’s fullest potential. Pots, pans, cooking utensils were provided, which was very convenient. Hot tub was hot as expected. And the scenery and atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. Check in and check out was very easy, communication was easy as well.Checkout was at 11am but they allowed us to check out at 5pm which was very nice of them. I had left my bag behind and they were nice enough to ship it back to me. Overall, I had a very nice and enjoyable experience at BobCat Lodge.
The Cedar Creek Cabins were the first cabins I have ever visited and I had the most powerful and priceless experience in my entire life for the 3 days I was there. I intend to make it a monthly habit to go there and enjoy the natural spacious design of the cabins with a sense of serenity that they give. Tom, you definitely put a touch of love in the cabins and I would recommend anyone looking to rent a cabin to try these.
Let me start by saying that we really wanted to like our stay here- it looked great on the website. We needed a place immediately as we were evacuating and Trout Lily was available the next day and we were granted permission to check in between 11-12am (4 hours early- which was a tremendous relief having been on the road for hours). However, when we arrived around 11:30, the cabin was a disaster. We contacted the property manager who notified me that we couldnt check in until 2pm but said they would get a cleaning crew in and let me know when we could come back. We loaded up our 2 dogs back into the car, left the cabin and waited to hear back. I had to contact the property manager after nearly 3 hours to see if we could return. The cabin was much cleaner but still there were cobwebs and dust everywhere, broken blinds, stains in the tub, writing on the walls, the dishes were dirty and as we discovered one night when it rained- a leak in the ceiling. When I notified the property manager of this, I was told they would try to send maintenance over but heard nothing back from them for the remainder of our stay. The patio furniture was old, stained and water logged. There was trash on the property grounds (cans, beer bottles, etc.). Im sorry to say that we would not recommend this company nor would we stay with them again. To put it simply; it doesnt appear that they take the best care of their cabins.
I have never been so disappointed with a stay. After spending months at home due to the pandemic, I thought what better place to stay as a family then to book a Cabin and have a nice experience while we continue to stay safe. I was so wrong... From the moment we stepped in the Cabin all you can smell was dust, mold and mildew. (Nothing like a clean cabin ready for its guest) Bedrooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Spider web on the living room windows. No cutlery in the kitchen, no broom, mop, or extra bedding and the list goes on.The first thought process was, are these Cabins really owned individaully? How are you, as an owner, not checking your properties from time to time to make sure the company you are paying or is advertising your business is doing your reputatuion some good. The smallest detail goes a long way and you are charging for a high end stay. Your standards however are way too low for the price you are charging guest. You call the number listed and no one ever picks up, but instead you get a text message from a different number saying that they are always on the other line. I really hope the owner/ CEO (Tom Telford) takes this review seriously and takes action in regards to this concerns. Management doesnt seem very nice or empathetic towards the complaints. Just because youre in the woods doesnt mean cleanliness is not possible.
I recently stayed at Bears Den cabin and had an awesome time. The cabin was very clean and it was everything we needed for a great get-away! The fire pit is on a deck which was perfect for the rainy weather we had and the hot tub was so relaxing. All questions I had were promptly answered by text message. I definitely plan on staying at this cabin again!
WOW, where should i begin? First of all the booking process was amazingly easy with full and clear instructions from a staff member. My family and i rented the Deer Crossing cabin and when we arrived there we could not believe our eyes , it was like a dream. All i heard my wife, daughter and granddaughter say was oh my god over and over again. The Cabin itself in its surrounding of trees was amazing, Walking into the cabin was like from a storybook, the decor, the setting , the fireplace , everything was like a dream. The hot bath on the porch was amazing at night with the sounds of nature and the stars. The German town of Helen was great, my wife is German and she loved it. We went to the gold mine tour and the Ruby Ann Waterfalls and after returning from those places back to our cabin we would rest and relax like king and Queen in its coziness to do it over again. Never a dull time and well within our budget. Being able to cook a great meal on the grill or stove was great and enjoyable. Thank You for offering the Public such a great place. We saw some of your other cabins and i would say the same about them. I recommend Cedar Creek Cabins to everyone. We want to thank Amanda Seabolt for her great assistance and making this great adventure a reality for us.
My Cedar Creek Cabin experience was MAGICAL. The cabins were spacious, clean, and cozy. The management made sure we had everything we needed and always went the extra mile when necessary. The surrounding area was filled with awesome trails that painted a beautiful backdrop to commune with nature. If you need a quick get away I highly recommend Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. Thanks Tom, Bob, and all the staff at Cedar Creek for creating a space that allows city slickers to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature.
**UPDATE based on CCC response: I have NEVER opted out of your emails, once again own up to your own mishandlings. Ive been told several times that you would forward me a screen shot of the email you sent - you never did that (through text) because you dont have it. Someone said the email was sent that Monday before our trip, then why on Tuesday when I emailed you I got an Im sorry, Ill be sending that email today which again never came. If I opted out of email then I would never get your emails, but I only get them after expressing my frustrations. They come when you actually send them!Original post: I will start off by saying that we have been renting from CCC Rentals since 2009, and we do so annually the same weekend every year (minus last year due to other travel needs). We used to really love dealing with them, but over the last several years the communication from the office has gradually gotten worse until this year I decided it would be our last. I am tired of the lies (we sent you an email on Monday, we will send you a screenshot - never sent the screenshot and never sent an email b/c I had to email on Tuesday asking for our key code and directions with a response from Wendy that Ill email it to you today - that never happened). I had to continuously email or call with no answers and no call backs to get anything done. I have worked in customer service for a fortune 500 company for 23 years and I will say that if this company wants to continue business, the owner better find someone that can handle an office. I am sure Wendy has a quality that suites her in a better position, but she is not capable of running this office. Maybe she is burned out, but a good manager would get to the bottom of it and find a job more fitting before he loses all of his clients. The only good thing about this years trip was thankfully the cabin was cleaner than its ever been before, in which I was a bit worried after reading the latest reviews. Once again (2nd time weve been up there), the internet was out. Well they said it was an outage, and a tech was to come the next day with a new box. That never happened and we never heard from anyone again. They took the land line phones out, so I heavily rely on wi-fi so I can use my phone to check on kids back home. And as Wendy always says, their cell service isnt always great! You need a phone of some sort in the cabins if youre not going to be able to provide internet. Honestly, I dont think for a minute it was an internet outage, because you dont need a new box for an outage. Again, its just too many lies that are obvious and the lack of communication, having to chase down every detail before your trip. Unfortunately, I will stop using and recommending this company until they make some major staff changes.
We stayed at Rivers Wild this past Christmas! What a great experience!! The cabin is off the beaten path and pretty secluded! Everything was just as pictured and clean. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay around the Helen area. Cedar cabins staff was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks again!
We had to evacuate from Hurricane Florence so in a hurry we decided to rent a cabin in Helen GA. We messed up and arrived a day early and Wendy and her team were fantastic and came out and cleaned the cabin late at night for us so we could stay. Wendy was very helpful during our stay and helped us to be able to extend a night as well and when my daughter forgot her Ipod at the cabin she helped make sure it got back to us. The cabin was great as well and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks for making a stressful time more bearable!!
We stayed at Trout Lily for a long weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was well kept and had stunning views. I loved how you could explore the woods behind the cabin. Wendy was very helpful the whole time before during and after our trip. I will definitely be back!
Similar to other recent reviews, I am not sure how this company gets such good reviews. It seems that several years ago they did a good job, but please heed my advice that as of now you should avoid this company based on their cleanliness, responsiveness, and quality.We stayed in the Summit cabin, and the physical layout and space of the cabin, as well as the view is great. Everything else is sorely lacking, and Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals does not seem to care in the slightest.First, the hot tub in the unit is clearly broken and in need of being replaced, or extensively repaired. It errors out repeatedly, and they just ask you to reset the breaker over and over which does nothing to actually solve the issue, other than buy you maybe an hour of time before it happens again. The temperature gauge is also far off of correct. Lastly, it is filthy, even with changing the water, it is clear that nobody actually cleans it.The rest of the cabin was similarly filthy, with dead (and live) bugs throughout, dust/dirt/grime piled up along the edges and corners of the floor. Bathrooms need a good cleaning, the grill is a joke relative to what other cabins offer. The surrounding woods and by the fire pit is littered with bags, empty cans, and other garbage, including broken glass around the firepit. The landscaping is not maintained in any way. There are numerous bees nests on the overhang of the main floor balcony, not to mention the outside furniture is severely lacking. All of the exterior doors need the weather stripping replaced allowing bugs free entry. Fireplace/firepit tools are either broken or missing. Beds are very uncomfortable and the floor/stairs creek throughout the cabin. The linens provided, including the bedding and towels are low end hotel at best.Lastly, the rental rate is higher than comparable cabins, including those right next door and on the next street, all of which are significantly nicer and have better views. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
We had an amazing stay! The cabin was spacious, comfortable and clean!! Staff communicated via text and phone to make sure we made it safely and all our needs were met. I highly recommend Cedar Creek Cabins and will definitely be back!
I recently stayed at a Cedar Creek cabin called Chalet in the Sky. Wow. First - What a view. tremendous view of the mountains and valleys. Theres even a lookout perch or deck on each floor (hot tub floor has a beautiful view and was so clean!), the upper floor and ALSO on the very top of the roof!The cabin was clean and the design was very rustic. Chalet-like for sure. Bring your own groceries and spices and oils and stuff - because theres empty cabinets and refrigerator. I did the morning hot tub experience. Id highly recommend it and this cabin rental.I would come back with a bigger crew than the 3 of us that enjoyed it this time.
Ive made several trips to Helen over the years. My experience with Cedar Creek was by far the most pleasurable to date. The staff is excellent and courteous and the properties are truly top notch. From the amenities to cleanliness and a truly nice little town with a lot of character, my stay with Cedar Creek was top flight all the way. I would recommend Cedar Creek to anyone looking for a top notch experience if youre wanting to visit the Helen area! This experience was much needed and long over due! A wooded hidden secret! ESCAPE!!! The perfect name for this beautiful cabin fit for 2. The shower was romantic. The jetted tub was relaxing. The big, open, and spacious floor plan was excellent for 2 love birds to dance the night away! Being surrounded by just nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city! No neighbors nearby to impede on our private time. The outside Jacuzzi hot tub was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The grill area on the porch was awesome. The night view from the bed was amazing! I loved looking up at the sky through the big windows. The decor and lighting was great. Everything was perfect and clean. Thank you for allowing us the make unforgettable memories at Escape! The detailed instructions were excellent! Your response time to our needs were superb! The note book of nearby adventures were most helpful and appreciated. I could not have asked for better customer service! We will return!!!
My boyfriend and I were nervous after seeing so many negative reviews on Yelp. We emailed them ahead of time and told them we were nervous about showing up to a dirty cabin with no hot water, heat, etc. We stayed in Sleepy Hollow, a one bedroom/one bath in January of 2016. When we showed up, the cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. It was clean, warm, and inviting, and they had set it up with lighting and music. It had plenty of towels, dishes and utensils for our needs. I absolutely wanted to stay several more days.
Beautiful cabin & location BUT...... We stayed in Wild River I believe. The one by its self on several acres.Horrible cleaning people/company. Once at cabin we notice that apparently the dump people before you left over firewood/ashes right off side of porch.When getting inside view and cabin is wonderful but there was dirt and such on floors. Food, dog hair- black and white dog hair on stairs and floors. Something smeared all over kitchen table. Mold growing in shower and on shower curtain. Bath towels smelled like cigarette smoke and had long black hair on them. Pillows had hair on them.aster bed was so loud and creepy and very uncomfortable.No toilet paper, soap nothing. Due to the virus going on we were unable to find toilet paper. We asked management for some on Saturday. They did not bring any till Tuesday evening.We asked for special package of fire wood, flowers and wine. Two days went by did not get or hear anything. We finally asked again and they told us fire wood is on them that the company who supplies the baskets is closed due to virus. Which is fine but why not let us know that?!?!Hot tub smelled like mold and musty. Pool table upstairs had missing Qballs and no chalk. Balls were grubby and dirty. The futon up there had stains and food on it. Kitchen had large ants and baby roaches. Say a roach crawling In and out of toaster.Also trash left in outside trash can, bear cans and red bull cans on the grounds.As much as we paid for this place- quality was not there. Great area! But will not be staying at this cabin again!!

The staff is always available and willing to offer assistance when needed. ESCAPE is a newly remodeled cabin that is wonderful for families. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay! The My Pillows on every bed was a great touch!

2022-01-05We stayed at the Inspiration Cabin. It was so easy. Nothing about this entire process or stay was difficult and I really appreciated not only the responsiveness every time I called, but how quick they were to deliver on any needs or concerns we had. The house was beautiful. I think most beds were comfy except for the queen one downstairs in the basement had a major creak every time I got out of bed. My in laws and parents loved their bed and it didn’t make those noises. My 4 year old and 2 year old slept perfectly every night on the bunk beds. The accommodations, design of the house was absolutely perfect for our group.We used the pool table every day. Sticks were missing the cushion so it was a little annoying but like I said we used it every day. So perfect for bonding with family. We also used the hot tub. It was PERFECT. TVs all had access to shows and movies we wanted for all in the group. Reclinable sofas were perfect. Everything in the house was absolutely perfect. AC worked just fine. We were always happy to come “home” after an outing.No roaches or pest. Very clean. Maybe there was a beetle or small spider but once we killed them never had any other critters visit.

2022-03-02This was a spur of the moment weekend getaway for my significant other and I, not only were they very accommodating for it being last minute, they were quick to respond to us when we couldnt figure out the fancy thermostat lol and sent someone on a Sunday which was very appreciated. The cabin was beautiful with all the amenities and not only would I recommend this to all my family and friends I cant wait to book a future trip to one of the awesome treehouses they have available. 2021-11-24My husband and I stayed at the Allure cabin with our two kids for the first part of the holiday break. It was the perfect family getaway. The cabin is gorgeous - clean, updated, luxurious - the photos don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect spot - very convenient to an upscale Ingles grocery store and to downtown Helen and to other great spots to hike and visit (10-15 min to everything). That is, if you even want to bother to leave the cabin. It’s in a very pretty, private spot with great porch views and a little fire pit down by the creek. There are plenty of places to curl up and watch a movie. The downstairs area with the pool table was a dream for kids. They loved the recessed beds and bunks. We even enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. It was all ready for us when we arrived. The instructions were great and it was easier than checking into a hotel. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals - everything you could need to cook easily. It was so spacious and cozy at the same time. We felt like someone had built a cabin just for us. It was hard to leave and we can’t wait to visit again.

2021-10-18The cabin was everything we hoped it would be!!! ABSOLUTELY beautiful. We had an issue our first night with the hot tub it was after hours and on a Friday. Called left message had a response within 10 minutes, planned to come out Saturday morning to address issue. Saturday morning we left and when we came back later, issue was fixed!!!!Cabin was clean and tidy. Sheets were clean and so soft. Loved the shower and hot tub!!!

2021-12-15My wife and I stayed in the Gold Peak for our 23rd wedding anniversary weekend. This was a brand new place, so everything was brand new and very clean. Communication with management was great. No issue with getting our access codes and no issues with the property at all. One suggestion that I have is that it would be great if all of the lower level windows had some type of window covering/curtains/blinds etc. Maybe there are plans for management to add them, but with it being brand new, maybe they just haven’t gotten them put up yet. The front door window, the kitchen window, and the window above the bed had no coverings. Even though this is a “treehouse”, you still want a little privacy in case someone happens to wander up to the property. This is not a complaint, just a suggestion to management. As for location, it is remote, but just a short drive into Helen, GA and not too far from stores for groceries and supplies. We will definitely be booking this property again in the future. I highly recommend it.

2021-12-16I always love booking with Cedar Creek Cabins. They are very responsive and it’s always a pleasure to stay at whichever cabin we choose for each trip! Definitely a step above the rest. Clean, has most all amenities, well-lit, spacious (especially for the value/price) and is upgraded to make you feel the touch of modernity you need these days.

2022-06-01Not only was our cabin named Pure Gold but our visit to the area and our stay was nothing but Pure Gold. Our cabin had everything needed for a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Great environment.We will be returning with family and friends on our next visit here.

2022-06-11Just arrived at Gold Peak Treehouse, its absolutely amazing. We have traveled the world stayed in many different places & our minds are blown. I read so many reviews & as a traveling couple take most into consideration, but any negative reviews I just cant fathom. Book the treehouses today they will not disappoint. Super clean, stocked, & mind blowing. The wifi if you have work is 5g & super fast .
