Ive lived here for almost 4 years in 2 different apartments. My current apartment is cozy, with new carpet, counters, toilet, and stove when I moved in. They just put in a huge dog park, my dog is so psyched. Its quiet, neighbors are friendly and relatively considerate, never felt threatened even walking my dog at 2 or 3 AM, the pool is just fine and my kids love it. Ive never had any problem other than asking someones dumba** friends to be quiet one night and that guy got evicted sooooo. Everyone minds their own business. Management is always nice to me and talks with me when I stop in. Its affordable and relaxed. Some people have decorated their porches or put plants out etc and I think its great they have the freedom to do that. They fixed my sliding door the day I called. My AC the next morning. They arent brand new apartments and its set in the woods. Im not sure exactly why people expect not to see bees OUTSIDE btw carpenter bees dont sting! Or millipedes taking a late night crawl or a mouse to find its way in somewhere. Ive never seen a roach or a mouse. Ive lived at other apartment complexes that actually were terrible, 2 shootings, break ins, blocked-in cars, no sidewalks or street lights, peoples straight up babies wondering around in nothing but a poopy diaper and one sock, parties at all hours, being sexually harassed at the pool and getting my mail! I work at an apartment complex where the residents are AWFUL and completely disrespectful to the property. Here at CPA, the location is great and close to Fort Gordon, Augusta Mall and everywhere else. Im perfectly happy living here and I feel its a good value.
Rebecca and Brad are some of the best owners in the area. Extremely courteous, and professional. Have been living here since early September, and I have not had a singular problem. Issues are resolved immediately, or within 48 hours. Neighbors are very friendly, and also very quiet. The pricing is great, and includes cable. I would suggest looking into Champions Pines if you are working at Fort Gordon, or within the Augusta area.
Champion Pines has the best and most caring management team. My request are handle in a timely manner. The apartments are great and with the new updates to the outside of the buildings its going to be even better. I would recommend living here. Very safe and quiet environment.
Worst place Ive ever lived! Carpenter bees everywhere and they domt so anything about it, they never fixed the sliding door even after I contacted them 5 times. They finally fixed the front door when I called and got nasty with the lady at the front office because a mouse was coming in and out from the crack at the bottom of our front door. The insulation sucked! By 3 o clock it would be above 85° in the apartment with the air turned on full blast. My husbands medication was delivered to the front office instead of our apartment one time and we were never notified until we realized the package never showed at our door step, mind you it HAS to be refrigerated which clearly said it on the box and it was in the office for 3 days without even a courtesy call. They were rude and unprofessional. Ive went down to the office several times and seeing the front office lady and the rental manager cuddled up in the couch doing god knows what. It was awful. Take my advice and stay FAR FAR away from this hell hole
This place is ok the other staff I among several other people dont like Rebecca personally. Our mailbox along with several other mailboxes dont even have locks on them but have us a key mail is always fallen out of open mailboxes thats broke. That is not secure place for anyone important mail. There are roaches and we were only here for 2 days they said the cable free but we received a bill for $200. The staff are never in on weekends and Rebecca tells everyone else business Brad is great get to of Rebecca an get 5 stars and make more money
TERRIBLE!!!! Moved in with a door off the hindge and they never fixed, counter broke from day one, carpet looks like it has been in the apartment since they were built and they have no plan on getting new carpet. The apartments seem to be ran under the table by Rebecca and her sons, no once is clear on who is really tha apartment manager and the one who claim he is is a DICK. They think if you are military they can speak to you in kind of way by threatning to go to your chain of command. The plumming system sucks I have went through a million plungers in my short 8 month stay. Garbage dispenser is always backed up and if you call and complain they will handle at their own convience. Last straw for me is the air goes out and I call numerous times over a week spand with it being over 80 degrees outside and they didnt decide to fix it until I said I was moving out. On top of that the water went out bc of a busted pipe and every since then the water has a white film to it out the faucet and I have no clue what it is and will not risk my children or myself just to keep from breaking a lease. I recommend no one move there. Terrible teriible decision to ever go there.
Complex infested with fruit flies or drain flies during the early spring/summer months. Apartment manager is very rude and has an attitude whenever putting in a maintenance requests, maintenance requests are not completed in a timely manner. Office is never open during office hours, and they do not answer the phone. Very loud and not a safe environment to live in.
I sadly am a current resident here and in the process of moving. But from Day 1,Champion pines is a huge disappointment.when my cousin even 1st moved in,they were not charging for application fee nor deposit.Hell they even knocked off $100 of his rent for a while just cause he knew the lease manager son.Apartments infested with roaches and fruit flies(his place though). My place had a fruit fly problem for the longest,my apartment wasnt even cleaned prior to moving in.I asked if the last tenant had a dog or cat, they said no.Why is there still hair all over the floor when I dont own a animalFitness room is not working, only working device is the treadmill.Basketball court usually has 1 rim or at times no rims with no net.Oh do you have a car?Hope u have alarm system if not, youre screwed. No cameras so that sadly gives ppl a chance to break in your vehicle and take whatever with no action
When I moved in apartment had fruit flies everywhere even in the refrigerator. Roaches was another issue i complained several times they only sprayed once the sixth months i stayed on premises. I gave staying a chance soon after the dishwasher leaked so bad it flooded the floors and damaged them. I had to stay the entire lease dealing with unprofessional staff and management that were hardly available in the leasing office.
The ac never really works only at night. Thats my only issue. 😁Update: ac is still broken!!! 90 degrees at 7:00 in the evening!!! Call the emergency maintenance line and havent heard anything back. This is the third time since I signed my lease that the ac has gone out. Smdh.
I have tried contacting this complex multiple times; email and calls, and I finally got in contact with someone who was very rude. I never talked to someone that was so unhelpful. I have seen great things about this place so I was very disappointed that they don’t want my business.
Plz do not move in champion pines.....they are the most crooked bunch tht I have ever dealt with.......must lease was up I was on a month to month basis I gave my noticed as required now they tryn to get me to pay an extra month....it seems to me tht Brad is very racist
It has A TON OF BUGS including German cockroaches, millipedes, and much more.It is mold infested, the management is rude and sexist,AND ONE IS A SEX OFFENDER!It fools you with the website with POOLS,SPA,WHIRLPOOLS,SAUNAS and the beautiful small bouquet they change every season. The pool has a lot of frogs and is hardly ever cleaned.

2017-06-01I read the horrrible reviews on this place and was shocked! We love this complex! So much so that we even switched to a bigger place after the first lease was up! The management is AMAZING!! They go above and beyond! We moved into an apartment with brand new carpet, and new appliances! They replaced the lighting with beautiful fixtures and anything we have needed repaired has been done within 24-48 hours. And that is ONLY if they need to order parts, usually it is done very quickly! The apartments are clean with NO bugs/roaches!! The complex has a relaxing and safe feel surrounded by trees and large grassy areas to play with your kids or pets! We love living here!! With the safe feel and wonderful management, you would be missing out by not giving Champions Pines a chance to welcome you home!

2018-12-05I lasted a month there. Walls are paper thin. I could here my neighbor upstairs peeing at one point. Gross place. The staff are nice but just can’t handle the old infrastructure.

2019-09-21Horrible response time for repairs. Weve been living here for five months and STILL have repairs that need to be made. When we moved in we provided a list of repairs that needed to be made and it was like pulling teeth to get someone out here. Apartment was nasty when we moved in as well. We had mice at one point in the apartment and it took almost 3 weeks for management get pest control out to our unit. Weve also had outrageous power bills and we dont even have a washer/dryer (A/C has never been set below 75). Mail boxes are always left wide open for anyone and everyone to take whatever they want as well. Leasing office hours are not consistent, leave early or dont come in at all.

2020-02-25Would never recommend this place! We only lived here for 4 months because of how nasty and unsafe it is. Place is infested with roaches. Maintenance was hard to even get to come out, our ceiling was falling down the day we moved in because of water leaking and wasn’t cleaned. Our cars were broken into while living here. Also while we were moving out they allowed maintenance into our apartment without us knowing and they stole a bunch of our stuff! Rebecca is a very rude lady as well.

2021-04-29I don’t care what y’all say but I’ve never had an issue with this complex Rebecca and brad are the best people. If I didn’t have to move I will still be staying here they always bend over backwards for us. Pool was very nice until Covid happened. If I get to come back home I will definitely come back.

2018-04-03I would not recommend anyone to stay in these nasty apartments. Ive been there less than a month and have encountered numerous roaches and just last week there was a mice in my apartment. Management told me that Mice get in the apartments around spring time , and that I wasnt the only one to complain about this. Meaning, that theyre mice all over the complex, which is disgusting. The management is super rude and found it amusing when I was concerned about me and my 8 mo. child living in a mice and roach infested apartment. She also stated what do you want me to do? Come catch the mice? and starting laughing; this is coming from the property manager. Definitely breaking my lease once my 3 months are up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

2016-01-15Seeing all the reviews of people complaining about maintenance, I cant agree. Anytime Ive had a problem and reported it in the way they specify in the lease, it gets fixed really soon. The day we moved in the toilet was broken, they literally replaced it the next day. A few months later, our fridge had a loose seal and freezer problems, it was replaced completely brand new that week. The apartments are relatively quiet and peaceful. Ive personally loved living here while my husband is stationed at Fort Gordon, considering Gate 1 is like 10 minutes away.

2015-04-27STAY AWAY! Yes, the price isnt to bad, however you can find apartments actually worth living in for a better or equal price. There are carpenter bees everywhere and they will not do anything about them, there are roaches, Ive been here for a month and we still dont have a SMOKE DETECTOR! No cover over the fan above the stove, No light above the stove! it feels like there are holes under the carpet. ONE dumpster that seems to always be full. The office is NEVER open on weekends, and every time I have been to the office there is ALWAYS only ONE person in there, and honestly he is pretty rude and doesnt seem to take his job seriously. Our bathroom sink still hardly drains. They havent been to fix our washer hookup that is leaking. And it took over two weeks AFTER they got the new part and THREE attempts and multiple visits from me in the office to fix the leak in the bathroom that happened every time we turned on our air, we had wet feet every time we went to the bathroom, and mold was starting to grow. The list just keeps going. Seriously heed this warning and STAY AWAY!

2019-05-17Very nice apartments, friendly staff. Any time weve had issues, they were always addressed same day or next day, every time. We will definitely be renewing our lease.

2016-02-27Very quiet. Nice neighborhood. Lots of police officers live here so I feel very safe staying here despite how close it is to Gordon highway. Ive stayed at Huntington andRidge Crossing and this place is far superior to both. The one bedroom setup is amazing and extremely cozy. Definitely planning on renewing my least! The only downsides are 1) most of the equipment in the weight room and the got tub have been broken since before I moved in. 2) One of their office managers is a little condescending so I limit contact as much as possible.
