My husband and I just attended the shrimp and grits class last night and had a fabulous time. Chef Darin was entertaining, knowledgable and the food was amazing. He made the class fun and interactive. We would highly recommend any of his classes. You will not be disappointed
Stunning kitchen cooking facility w shared stations, hood system, stove top, oven. State of the art. The French Country Class was hands on and informative and resulted in a delicious meal. Top flight wines available. Chef Darin is a savvy teacher w an outstanding sense of humor
We have always wanted to do a cooking class, so I took my hubby here for his birthday to try something new. It was sooooo good!! I learned so much about cooking from this class it was shocking. He also challenged every bad habit I have when cooking! But also shared little tidbits and techniques that I never knew. Chef Darin was very funny, personable, and knows his way around a kitchen! The food was amazing, and I cant believe we made it ourselves. It is a long class, so book when you have a whole evening to spare. But it is well worth it. There is a reason he is #1 here!
This was my third class that I have taken and enjoyed at Chef Darins Kitchen Table. It is such a great experience, I have learned many things from the Chef and the best part is you get to enjoy the fantastic food that you prepare. This is my special occasion celebration go-to gift.
Did an Elegant Entertaining class with my boyfriend and it was a lot of fun. Chef Darin is a pro both as a chef and as a presenter. He keeps you engaged and smiling. They’ve got a great technology set up so it’s easy to hear and follow along. Our class was full, so we were paired with another couple- if you’re introverted you may want to plan a double date with friends. The food we made was delicious and I learned so much. I did another cooking class (not at Chef Darin’s) and had fun but walked away feeling like I just followed a recipe. This class, however, taught me some important skills, things to consider, and general cooking tips that I’ll use every day. The day after, my boyfriend commented on all the new things he wanted to try cooking now after his newfound confidence. “If I can make a soufflé, I feel like I can make almost anything.”I received this as a gift and I loved it.
If youre looking for a cooking class experience dont miss this! Chef Darins ability to teach is the best and you can tell he really enjoys it. He engages the participants and shares his culinary skills and knowledge in a way that is interesting and fun. Looking forward to returning soon. And don’t forget his retail store....stocked with all kinds of items youll want for your kitchen along with lots of tasty sauces and relishes.
My husband and I took Chef Darins Northern Italy class tonight. We are experienced home cooks but we still learned a lot of great tips and techniques. The facility is beautiful, the ingredients provided were high quality and the meal we made was delicious -- and we had a great time! Highly recommended.
I recently took the Shrimp & Grits class with Chef Darin and had an awesome experience. The class is a lot of fun, while being very informative. Chef shares a lot of knowledge and techniques, and will answer all your questions, share how tos, etc. It is very hands on, and you will be amazed at the meal you have created and get to enjoy at the end. He also provides you with a nice informational packet including the recipes to take home with you.
First and foremost, Chef Darin is an awesome, knowledgeable and REAL person.Lots of energy, very charismatic and relatable. He obviously loves the art of food and does very well at making the magic of cooking understandable for anyone. There are takeaways for anyone from a novice to an expert in his classes. In addition, his instruction area is top notch...great for largish groups down to a couples adventure in cooking. His shop is also the best in Savannah, plenty of top notch kitchen items.Highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of visiting Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table during our recent trip to Savannah. Upon review of the various cooking schools in Savannah, it was clear Chef Darin’s was superior! Now post visit, I too can confirm this to be true! There were no group classes available during our time in Savannah, prompting me to inquire about a private cooking course for my partner and me. Much of my surprise, he gladly welcomed the two of us for a private experience which surpassed all expectations!! Prior to our visit, Chef Darin and I had multiple conversations via telephone and email to tailor this private experience to dietary restrictions and interests. Furthermore, since the visit was a surprise for my partner’s birthday, he ensured a personalized experience to make the visit extra special. We enjoyed a full night of cooking, laughing, learning, and eating! The private experience was worth the small additional fee compared to the group cooking courses. After completing our course, we had the opportunity to peruse Chef Darin’s store of well curated kitchen gadgets and utensils – all items utilized in class. Wow, this collection is amazing – we brought home several items for our own kitchen! I would recommend with highest regards Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table for your next visit to Savannah or night out with friends/family. We will certainly be back to visit!! Thanks, Chef Darin!
Best night in Savannah! A must while here. Chef Darin is a master instructor!! We were taught kitchen skills to last a lifetime. The food was amazing!! I cant believe we made a fine dining restuarant quality meal! The wine 🍷 paring was on point! We will come back for more skills and laughs with Chef. Amazing!! So Happy we did this.
My wife and I visited Savannah for the first time during the week of Christmas. She surprised me with a special trip to Chef Darins for a cooking class and dinner. The experience could not have been better! Darin is an excellent chef and made us feel very welcomed. It didnt feel like a cooking class at all. The experience was more personal as if he invited us into his home and we prepared a meal together. His store is awesome and the cooking studio is top of the line. Do yourself a favor and explore this culinary experience. You wont regret it. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
It was a Friday night date night and we joined the maxed out Totally Thai class. The menu was great and afterwards my wife and I realized that we had taken this class previously (the lemon grass ingredient and dessert was the giveaway) . None the less, we had another great time with a lively crowd and enjoyed the results of our labors,
A nice break from the summer heat! We spent 3 1/2 hours at Chef Darins Kitchen Table for the hands-on cooking class called Summer Brunch At $100 per person, this experience is well worth the price. The small class gave everyone the opportunity to try a little bit of everything during all phases of the instruction. The perfectly designed kitchen allows views of demonstrations and preparation from nearly anywhere in the kitchen. Comfortable seating is available to either sit or stand. Aprons, coffee and water are also provided. The pre-class preparation by Darin and Myrtle ensured students were able to focus on the food preparation rather than the many other tasks leading up to the actual preparation, cooking and plating of the food. Chef Darin demonstrated new kitchen tools by incorporating their use into the recipes. When all was said and done, we delivered an amazing Summer Bruch using the freshest seasonal ingredients in a state-of-the-art kitchen under the tutelage of Chef Darin.
I have taken 7 of the classes Chef Darin does and they each were great. His shrimp and grits is the best I have ever had, and now I can make them. Chef Darin has a great teaching style making you feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend this class. It is 3+ hours of fun and concludes with a gourmet meal that you were part of making.
My husband and I attended the Totally Thai cooking class and had a blast! Very organized and so much fun! The menu was delicious and we made fun friends! Chef Darin made it so much fun and taught us quite a few handy kitchen tricks that we are excited to try in our own kitchen! Definitely a highlight to our visit in Savannah!
Its worth a trip to Savannah to take a cooking class with Chef Darin. Nothing beats the feeling of sitting down to eat a delicious meal only moments after you helped prepare it.This was our second cooking class with Chef Darin and the first class since he opened his own location. Our first class was on our honeymoon. Nine years and three kids later, we hadnt had the chance to make it back for a class until now. It was refreshing to be reminded that so much of what we use every day in the kitchen—from tools to techniques—came from this class. These are practical techniques that you will use every day.The class itself is great, but the food is always incredible. Low Country will of course be a (deservedly) popular choice, but you really cant go wrong with any of his menus. You will enjoy eating what you prepare. Our only regret is that we didnt get back sooner—we wont be waiting 9 years for our next class!
We came to Savannah for a girls trip and spent Saturday morning with Chef Darin and his Shrimp and Grits class. Everything we made was amazing! We learned new skills and tips for cooking all different things. We had went to The Lady and Sons (Paula Deans restaurant) the night before and tried Fried Green Tomatoes for the first time and Chef Darins was 100 times better! We will definitely come to a class every time we come to town!
Attended with a tour group. Chef Darin is entertaining while professional. He offers great tips and creative ways to enhance your personal day to day cooking, that can get you out of the just because routine. He included tips on using basic kitchen utensils that are very helpful. Well worth a visit.
This class was amazing! The instructions were thorough and entertaining even for a novice! The food we cooked was fantastic and better than the dinner we had at the high rated dinner option down the street!! Thank you Chef Darin for an amazing addition to our girls weekend!
Chef Darin- French Bistro EntertainingWhat a wonderful class! I’ve taken several of Chef Darin’s classes and each time I learn something new. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned even more this time. Hands on technique, cooking expertise, humor and delicious food make for a splendid evening. Perfect party for a birthday or anniversary celebration. Don’t miss “French Bistro and Entertaining!”Lamb Loin chops with garlic-mint sauce, Potatoes Anna with Lemon and Herbs, and Roasted Tomatoes Provençal style. Accompaniments were Smoked Salmon Tart with Herb Salad and Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette and Profiteroles with Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce
Best cooking school I’ve ever been to- and I’ve been to multiple ones around the world. The history of ingredients, the hand-on experience, the fun, humorous attitude of Chef Darin combined like the awesome red eye gravy he taught us to cook! Best Shrimp and Grits I’ve ever tasted. I learned so much more than a recipe- already bought another class to attend and will bring friends
Essential skills but also a very enjoyable way to learn! I would definitely not recommend using a chefs knife without professional instruction and he does it in a delightful way. It was also very interesting to realize that there is a science to cooking different types of food and he definitely has extensive knowledge, experience and education. These classes are also a special experience with a delicious meal at the end with a glass of wine if you prefer. Go solo or as a couple. I went solo because I wanted to concentrate on learning.
I got into Darins class on Lowcountry cooking accidentally: i vacationed in Savannah and wanted to do something unusual. It turned out to be time and money well-spent and with a 5-course dinner in the beautifully appointed kitchen that the students cooked themselves. The evening was well-planned and engaging. In addtion to the menu items, Darin covered the history of Lowcountry cuisine and - priceless cooking techniques that even experienced home cooks would findnew and handy for every day. The kitchen has a lovely store with carefully selected books and tested cooking tools.
Had a great time with my wife for our Anniversary. Typically I stay out of the kitchen. But this was so incredibly fun and enjoyable for both of us! My wife, our family head chef - who is quite good to begin with, has now become a master chef d’Asian Cuisine after this class.Chef Darin was super friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing and helpful and inspiring!Sorry no pictures - we ate the food too quick! It looked and tasted exceptional! Will definitely be going back again for other classes. It’s a great fun time. Might be really good for team building events...Great for date nights! Very intimate.
This 2 day French Pastry class is absolutely amazing. We were so busy learning how to make puff pastry dough, croissants, and danish pastry with time to even learn how to make macaroons. Chef Darin shared so many techniques and tricks that it made the 2 days fly by. We left on the second day with a full box of beautiful pastries that we made. This is a must for serious bakers.
A wonderful way to spend an evening in Savannah! Four of us had the pleasure of attending the Low Country: Fried Chicken Social class on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The dinner menu was yummy and included some dishes we never ate before like collard greens and buttermilk pie. The audience gets to the participate throughout the evening. When the meal is ready, everyone sits down to a full meal. There is also a kitchen store onsite where you can purchase some of the items/gadgets used through the evening. On this particular evening, the class was taught by Chef Skylar while Chef Darin was out of town. We were in awe of Chef Skylar, a young man who impressed us throughout the entire evening with his knowledge, teaching ability, sense of humor, and overall fun attitude. In addition to preparing the food for the menu, Chef Skylar also taught us knife skills and offered tons of tips through out the evening. 5-stars for Chef Darins Kitchen Table. 5-stars for Chef Skylar.
My wife and I have had the good fortune to travel and enjoy many parts of the world. We enjoy taking cooking classes in as many countries and locations as possible. Chef Darin’s Kitchen in Savannah is one of the best organized cooking classes that we have attended. Chef Darin has a great personality, does an excellent presentation of cooking procedures and use of ingredients. His classroom is outstanding and permits everyone to do”hands on” cooking and be involved in the preparation of their own dinner. The dinner and presentation was excellent and I would highly recommend a class at Chef Darin’s.
My sisters and I took the Low Country cooking class during a trip to Savannah and it was one of our favorite activities! Great value for several hours worth of entertainment, education and of course dinner. The meal we prepared was delicious and Chef Darin was well organized, informative and funny. Definitely picked up some good tricks and I look forward to preparing the menu for friends at home. I had never taken a cooking class before and didnt know exactly what to expect, but this was such a good experience that I now look forward to taking another. I only worry that it wont live up to my experience with Chef Darin! Highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful experience! We have now attended two of Chef Darins classes. My husband and I started with the Shrimp & Grits class and our 13 year old and I did the homemade pasta class together. Both exceeded our expectations! Thank you for two very memorable and delicious courses!
This is by far one of the best experiences Ive had this year! Ive always wanted to take a cooking class, and this was awesome. From the moment you arrive, Chef Darin is warm and welcoming. He takes time to get to know each person, then explains thoroughly what you will be making for the evening. Hes very patience and even gives a few fun facts about the food and its origin. The portions are definitely enough to enjoy a nice meal and you can take home the left overs. You also get a copy of the recipe, and its easy to follow!Doing this during quarantine, we werent sure what to expect, but theres tons of room for you to space out, and he was very flexible is making sure people felt comfortable and that it was a safe space. The store also has a bunch of cute trinkets for your home or as gifts. I cant wait to go back!
My wife and I joined Chef Darin for the Chicken social class. We had so much fun last time we were in town for the Low Country Shrimp Grits we had to come back. We learned good skills, had laughs and so much fun we had to come back. Besides that the recipes made some wonderful eats. Chef Darin makes it fun in the kitchen. Any level cook will be comfortable and learn something. I recommend the classes to anyone. The chicken crust was so crispy and delicious yet tender and moist inside. The best coleslaw recipe ever. Sorry Grandma. The rice dish was outstanding. The buttermilk pie we will say only threat of my wifes fork kept me from eating all of it. We had so much fun Darin asked us to join him for his Facebook live class. The next time I am in Savannah we will be coming back to Darins Kitchen. Give yourself some time in his wonderful shop too.The best thing we did in Savannah.
Put this class on your Must-do list when you are in Savannah. This class was so much fun. And educational. I went by myself and left with 10 new friends! Chef Darin is so engaging, educational and together we all made a phenomenal meal. You are preparing and cooking hands on-there are about 5 cook areas there. He gives you a little history and story telling with the recipes, lots of guidance, and makes it easy to make about 6 different dishes at once! I never knew I could do that. I picked up lots of general cooking tips, too, like keeping stainless pans from sticking, knife skills, cutting onions without crying and more! His kitchen store is FILLED with tons of useful and beautiful inventory for purchase, whether for yourself or a gift.Be sure to sign up for a cooking session with Chef Darin. It will be the highlight of your trip (or day if you live in Savannah). I will be back next year, for sure!
The cooking class was very professional and Chef Darin is an excellent instructor. The seafood supper was delicious. I highly recommend Chef Darins Kitchen Table to anyone who loves good food and enjoys learning new recipes and techniques that makes cooking more enjoyable.
Wow, Darin was phenomenal! We came on word of mouth and would absolutely return for another class. The pacing was perfect for non cooking people like me, the explanations were always easy to understand, and Darin was super pleasant to learn from. He has a great sense of humor and an incredible knowledge of the science of cooking and the local history. If you want a memorable cooking class then sign up as soon as you can, you wont regret it.
Chef Darins cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Savannah. It was fun and laid back. Not only did we cook a delicious meal, but we learned some great cooking tips along the way. Im a fairly experienced cook and my daughter is just learning to cook. The class was really fun for both of us.
My husband and I traveled from Texas to Savannah for our honeymoon and were looking for something unique to do together. We came across Chef Darins cooking class and because of all the wonderful reviews, decided to give it a try. We didnt know what to expect with this being our first cooking class, but we did not expect to have as wonderful of a time as we did! This class was by far our favorite part of our honeymoon! Chef Darin is an amazing chef and the meal was absolutely delicious! He is very upbeat, teaches you valuable cooking lessons and keeps the class very interactive so you are not just sitting there watching him cook. The class flowed very well from quick demonstrations to then doing everything ourselves! Everything from the kitchen to the ingredients were top notch, 5 star restaurant quality and if you are looking for a relaxing, fun, unique, amazing experience then definitely book one (or several) of his classes. You wont be disappointed!
Tired of the same old excursions? Want to improve your skills, feed your mind and your body while meeting new people and having fun? The place to be is Chef Darins Kitchen Table in historic Savannah, Georgia. Learn to make some of your favorite dishes or an entirely new cuisine under the tutelage of Chef Darin. There wont be any screaming and throwing of kitchen utensils. You wont be asked to create a dish from kunquats, black garlic and baby quail. Instead you will enjoy a well-executed guided cooking experience sprinkled with little-known facts and history about ingredients, tools and the culture the dishes represent. And best of all, you get to eat the food you prepare with your new friends in a comfortable environment around a common table. Good conversation, great food and a fine wine equals an excellent reason to pay a visit to Chef Darins Kitchen Table. And dont forget to pick up unique and useful items in the Kitchen Store!
A participation cooking class with participants of varying skill levels can be difficult to coordinate but Chef Darin does a great job. I took two classes and both times Chef Darin was able to keep the class moving forward while providing quality interaction with each individual, providing each of us with appropriate advice and responding to individual questions. The classes are usually close to 4 hours long which sounds like a long time but the time goes by very quickly. Each class includes a knife skills section which is very informative. Chef Darin talks about ingredients, history, culture & methods; I would say his classes provided an excellent social, educational & food experience. Overall, Chef Darins classes are a joy to participate in!
My husband and I attended Chef Darin’s Pan Asian Exoerience and it was wonderful. Such a fun evening at his fabulous cooking school. His facility is first class and exceptionally clean. We really appreciated that he uses the same home appliances that we use. We have attended many different cooking schools on our travels and they typically have commercial appliances which makes it difficult to reproduce at home. In addition to the delicious food that we prepared, Chef Darin’s tips of the trade were so helpful. As soon as we got home we began looking for our next class. A great experience for both locals and tourists not to mention the great kitchen store which is part of the experience.
My mom and I had a delightful time with Chef Darin and his Low Country Cooking Shrimp & Grits class! Chef Darin is fantastic! We learned so much about food and preparation techniques in a fun and entertaining way. The meal we created with some other lovely ladies was one of the best ones we had while visiting Savannah. I had never tried grits before and found them delicious. Now ever other restaurant will have to live up to Chef Darins version. I highly recommend this activity for a fun evening and a great way to taste local food! Definitely a hidden gem!
Highly recommend you check out Chef Darin for your next (or first) cooking class in the Savannah area. He is an expert chef that makes you feel comfortable in the kitchen. His classes are fun, entertaining, very hands on, and offer valuable skills development. Class prices are very reasonable when you think about what you get per hour. Menus are delicious and approachable. You can’t go wrong at Chef Darin’s!
My daughter and I have always wanted to try a cooking class and I stumbled upon Chef Darins class by accident while looking at a post about knives. I signed us up, and Im so glad I did! As soon as we walked in and saw the kitchen we knew this was going to be a great experience. I loved the stories and the education! Chef Darin is very educated in the cooking world and is great at presenting his craft. I learned so much! We enjoyed the demonstrations and the hands on preparation of our meal. The best part is the meal was delicious! We will definitely be signing up for another class!
Another amazing class (breakfast and brunch breads), always learning something! This is an update (Lovely Latin), as Ive taken several classes previously... always good times and a learning experience... this was my first class w/ Chef Darin since hes opened, and following the pandemic rules... hes taking all precautions and ensures the client/student is comfortable and as always- very informative and fun! Finally got into the Shrimp and Grits (fried green tomatoes, black eyed pea salad and cheddar biscuits too) class... Yay! Well worth the wait and although Ive been to several classes, I ALWAYS learn something new from Chef Darin AND enjoy the food we prepare - Looking forward to making all of these at the house with FABULOUS results :)
Great experience at Chef Darins cooking class last weekend! Ive been to a few cooking classes in different settings over the years, and this was top notch. Beautiful, high-tech teaching kitchen facilities. Personalized instruction and helpful tips beyond just the recipe at hand. And a lot of laughs! Well be back again for sure!
Loved this class! Chef Darin is so knowledgeable and experienced...and he has a great sense of humor. The food was delicious (as always!). This was my third cooking class at his Kitchen Table and I look forward to the next. I always come away feeling that I learned new cooking tips and gathered some great new recipes. And Im always inspired to get into my own kitchen and show off my new skills! I highly recommend Chef Darins Kitchen Table as a fun and informative experience.
We surprised our friend with a class for her 30th Birthday! After comparing this class to other options in the area and reading all the great reviews, we decided Chef Darins Kitchen Table Classes would be the best bet! We had a tough time choosing a class because all the food sounded delicious, but we booked Flavor Dynamics. While this class was a little less cooking that most of the classes, Chef Darin taught us very practical and educational tips and techniques that we could apply to all of our future cooking. The cooking class is fun and unique date night with a little mix of teamwork.Chef Darin was an excellent teacher, full of knowledge and helpful and fun facts about the food we prepared. The facilities were very nice and spacious and the store was a bonus.
Participated in the knife skills class. Chef Darin was an entertaining and patient instructor who knows how to entertain while teaching you skills that will make you more efficient and knowledgeable in the kitchen. Bring your entire family and have fun in the kitchen.
What a great cooking class! Even an experienced cook will learn new things and have fun. The classroom is top notch with plenty of space and terrific equipment. Chef Darrin has a balanced mixture of humor and professional teaching experience. You won’t regret the time and money spent on this vacation activity!
My wife and I kicked off our week in the south with Chef Darins low-country cooking class. Man, was it a blast! Darin is very personable, funny and has a gift for teaching. It was just us and one other couple so there was a ton of personal attention. You will learn a lot and have a great meal with great people. You also get very detailed instructions on replicating your exerience at home -which my kids will love! Darin really takes the time to make everyone comfortable and ensure you are learning while have a great time. Id give him 10 stars if I could! The kitchen store is amazing as well so go early pick out some cool gadgets and enjoy yourself.
My wife and I were in Savannah on a leisure trip and found Chef Darin online. We did the shrimp and grits class and we were totally blown away. Chef is as funny as knowledgeable and the time just flew by. Its a very hands on session with an intimate group. We quickly realized that just about everything we knew about kitchen skills was 100% wrong. I especially enjoyed the lesson on knife skills. And at the very end you get a chance to enjoy the very best shrimp and grits on the planet. You will totally love the experience, we did. Thank you chef!!!!!!
My sister and I recently took part in Chef Darins Easy Elegant: Celebration Dinner cooking class and could not have been more pleased. Darin was easy to get along with and had numerous great time-saving tips that he shared throughout the night. The food turned out amazing and I cannot wait to try out the new techniques we learned back at home. Would highly recommend.
Chef Darins Kitchen Table made our first trip to Savannah the most wonderful and memorable experience!! Chef Darin was incredibly helpful from the very first time I contacted him to sign my husband and I up for a class as a surprise for my husbands birthday. Chef Darin will work with you to make this the best and most memorable experience possible. He is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and well versed in his culinary skills. I HIGHLY recommend taking a class with Chef Darin and getting to eat some of the best food prepared in the Savannah area. We will definitely be joining Chef Darin again at his kitchen table!
I had an amazing time at Chef Darins kitchen. I participated in a 2-day French pastry workshop and learned so much and took home an insane amount of pastry. I expected to only do 1 or 2 doughs but we did 4! And had so many different things we made. Small class sizes make it easy for all and him to answer any questions you have. You dont have to be a hugely experienced home cook or baker. Im locale to Savannah and cant wait to do another class with him!
We had the best time decorating gingerbread houses at Chef Darins. This is our second year. This will definitely be something we want to continue to do yearly. He provided us with awesome decorations and let us go with it. He had great tip sand we even left with recipes. Im looking forward to coming back with my girlfriends and trying some of the other cooking classes.
Chef Darin’s Frenc Comfort Food class was amazing!! He made a complex meal fun And doable—not to mention delicious!!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining!! My husband was reluctant to go, but he had as much fun as I did! We both are eager to go back for more classes!! I learned so much in just a few hours!! We both definitely recommend Chef Darin for anyone who likes to cook or likes to eat!! It was a fabulous night!!!
This was my wife and Is first cooking class, and we had an absolute blast! Chef Darin is fantastic - great teacher, extremely knowledgable, and great company! The kitchen is incredible - super clean, spacious, top of the line appliances and tools. The store is phenominal as well, we definitely picked up a few items. We made an incredible meal and it felt effortless. We are certainly planning on going back, and bringing friends as well!
What an amazing experience! Chef Darin’s class was more informative than the others we’ve done in the past! He made it fun, answered all the questions we asked and we learned so much!We came here for a Cousin’s birthday weekend. We all love to cook and we found that cooking classes was something we all enjoyed. We’ve gone to about 6 classes and we felt that we walked away having learned something that we can apply in our kitchen other than recipes. He answered questions to help us with issues we might be having with our own recipes and I’m excited to try them this week!We were fortunate to have a smaller class, it felt like we had a private session with Chef. We laughed, learned and ate well!
This was the most fun I’ve ever had cooking! Chef Darin was an amazing teacher and we learned so much. The group was fun, the food delicious, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend Chef Darin’s cooking class and I look forward to taking my next class with Chef Darin.
Highly recommend attending this class, or any other for that matter with Chef Darin. Very informative and had a blast! Attended this class at his recommendation prior to purchasing cutlery. So glad we did as helped us make a much more informed decision. Very happy! Will return with friends to take the group cooking class.
The highlight of our trip to Savannah would be the two hands on cooking classes my daughters and I took with Chef Darin. He teaches you some of the history of the foods you are preparing and also the science behind the ingredients so that you understand why your recipe works. The class is taught in a beautiful kitchen & it offers something for everyone from skilled chefs to cooking novices. Darin is a complete professional yet he achieves a fun and laid back atmosphere. He makes cooking very approachable and I am confident that we can use the techniques he taught us in our own kitchen. I think his classes would not only make a wonderful gift but they would also be fun for a date night or a get together with a group of friends. You get so much more than what you pay for and I would not hesitate to take more of his classes.
I wish we could have stayed for all afternoon! My daughter and I are definitely adventurous cooks in our homes. We love all things food-reading food related books, magazines, and blogs, watching food shows, and trying new restaurants when we travel. So a trip to Savannah, a place we hadn’t been before, had to include some new food experiences. On our recent trip we took a cooking class, summer supper, from Chef Darin. Walking into his cooking classroom was like walking onto a Food Network set. He has a wealth of cooking talent and experience which he conveys throughout the class. The menu he planned, and taught us how to create, was absolutely delicious. I have made several of the recipes upon returning home, to the delight of my husband. Chef Darin was so easy to talk to and answered our questions completely, providing us with terrific cooking tips. Woven within the class were lessons in technique from things like proper knife use for different cutting jobs, how to make pastry light and fluffy, and how to get the most flavor from your food with the least amount of fuss. He also showed us about new kitchen tools and gadgets. He has a beautifully stocked kitchen store so you can buy those new must have items. He provides recipes for everything you make. Without a doubt, the next time we are visiting Savannah, another class with Chef Darin will be on our itinerary.
Very informative and fun class! My sister signed us up for Low Country Shrimp and Grits on our visit to Savannah. It was one of the highlights! So much was packed into the evening I was afraid I wouldnt remember it all, but Chef Darin provided a packet reviewing everything including recipes for you to take home and showcase your new skills! If we lived nearby this would be a regular event for us. Thank you Chef Darin.
Chef Darin and his staff are absolutely wonderful teachers and mentors. My husband and I always do a cooking class for Valentines Day. This is an excellent date night for couples night out. You will learn great skills, meet interesting people and have a wonderful time! Of course you also get to eat great food :-)
My wife and I attended the New Years Eve class and had a fantastic time. With two young kids, dinner and a movie date nights have been the standard night out the last few years and this was an excellent way to break up the norm and not just spend time together, but actually do something together. Highly recommend Chef Darins class to anyone and we are already planning our next trip. Not only is the class entertaining, almost like watching a show with the way Chef Darin has everything set up, but it is informative too covering all sorts of cooking techniques as well as things like basic knife skills. Of course all the food that we cooked was fantastic as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something unique!
We had a fabulous experience...New Year’s Eve dinner prepared under the direction of Chef Darin! What a delicious dinner with lots of learnings. A great alternative to making dinner reservations in a crowded, noisy restaurant. We will definitely return.... Valentine’s Day perhaps....I recently took the Knife Skills class. It was well worth the time to learn all the right things to do when using the most important tool in my kitchen. The right knife for the right job, how to choose a knife and care for it and how to slice dice and all the other cuts we make when we cook!As always, Chef Darin make it fun and educational bringing his enthusiasm for what he does to the experience. We sliced and diced our way to preparing a great stir fry!!
Just finished the Low Country Cuisine class with Chef Daren. This is the second class we have taken with Chef Daren. Last class we went home with some dishes and skills that have become part of our cooking experience. My husband and I both had a great time with hands on fun preparing a wonderful meal of Shrimp & Grits, Black Eyed Pea salad and Fried Green Tomatoes and we met some wonderful people. This is a great activity for novice and experienced cooks. I highly recommend for couples as well as friends.
If you haven’t taking one of Chef Darin’s classes yet, what are you waiting for? This was a great and fun experience that I will be booking again! Great cooking tips as well as how to use tools in the kitchen properly. I expected to take some leftovers home, but that did not happen due to the deliciousness of the food! Great job Chef! I will be back!
We were in Savannah recently and took Chef Darins Low Country Cooking Class. I waited until I got home and had an opportunity to try to reproduce the recipes before writing this review. We had a great time at the class, with very animated class participation in preparing the meal and a delicious meal to follow. I skipped trying to make the fried green tomatoes, but the cheese and herb biscuits, bean salad and shrimp and all got rave reviews and Im looking forward to another chance to make them. As well as the recipes, Chef Darin covered a number of general cooking principles in the class. And there is an interesting store at the school with many kitchen items youre not likely to find elsewhere. Definitely would go back if I had the chance.
What a joy to take Chef Darins cooking classes. Ive taken several and they have all been great, fun, entertaining and most of all delicious!! Thanks Chef Darin for providing such a wonderful, comfortable place to learn hands on skills for cooking. What a joy it was!!
Chef Darins Low Country Cooking class was the best cooking class Ive ever attended. Chef Darin combines knowledge and humor to bring out the cook in everyone. His method is also a great way to get to know people. The food is delicious and everyone loves to hang out in the kitchen! If you cant attend a class, stop by for some gifts and goodies.
You will not be disappointed! It was more than i expected! The food was delicious and i learned a lot about the history of the foods we were cooking as well as the science behind it (especially the baking portion). Chef Darin was witty and has a great sense of humour, which made the class even more enjoyable. We will definitely plan to take another one of his classes again!
We had a group of 10 friends take a class together and we had a blast! Chef Darin is a great teacher and the food was amazing! This was our 2nd class and we were happy to come back. Great way to spend some time with friends and the bonus is you get good cooking tips, hands on experience, great food and the recipes to recreate and impress your friends.
Carol and I took the Low Country Shrimp and Grits class with another couple. We had a great experience. There is so much information presented and techniques to improve your cooking skills. The important thing for us is that you arent just listening you are participating. Putting those new skills into practice. Getting feedback on what you are doing. At the end of class you have a fantastic meal to eat. If you are looking for quality kitchen items: knives, pans, cutting boards or just kitchen gadgets this is the place to shop in Savannah.
Our experience with Chef Darins Kitchen Table was great! My wife and I took the English Roast Beef Dinner class for a new date night idea and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We both learned a few things, enjoyed a great meal, and would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of skill level in the kitchen.
We had a wonderful time; it was the perfect Friday! Twelve of my favorite ladies spent time with Chef Darin, cooking, eating, laughing and learning. With Christmas music playing softly in the background, our experience was warm, relaxing and fun. Chef Darin and his staff are incredible! So, if you are looking to spend more quality time together with family or friends, you must add this to your bucket list ;)Marnie – UGA Extension
First class cooking/ baking school. Extremely clean, very friendly & professional with so much knowledge and such a willingness to share his skills. The shop is full of handy equipment at reasonable prices, if you can’t find what your looking for they will order it for you. Secure free parking right behind the shop. Small class sizes, and every safety precaution was taken during the COVID. My 2 day class included lunch each day, coffee, tea, water, and it was delicious! I returned home with a huge box of pastries I had learned to make. Including a binder with all the recipes, photos, and detailed directions. Thank you Chef Daryl for this amazing experience.
Chef Darin did a fantastic job of combining fun, useful cooking tips, and delicious food. One of the best meals on our trip was the meal we prepared with Chef Darin! We were so glad to have included his class to our weekend agenda. Recommend this to anyone looking to learn new techniques or just to have a great time.
One of a group of ten ladies visiting Savannah, four of us love to cook. We decided to try this new experience of cooking low country cuisine with a chef. What a delightful evening we all had! Chef Darin was entertaining, knowledgeable, and patient while teaching us some kitchen basics we didn’t know (and we are all seasoned cooks!). We learned all about low country foods and enjoyed the most fabulous meal prepared by our own hands..... fried green tomatoes, awesome grits, red eye gravy and shrimp, black-eyed pea salad, cheddar biscuits and pecan praline angel food cake. We went away with number of new recipes and an evening to remember!
We live in Savannah and love taking classes with Chef Darin! Our teenage daughter and my husband and I just took the Lively Latin class. We were the first class since the pandemic closing. The class sizes are limited and we are more than 6 feet apart. Chef Darins kitchen has always stressed cleanliness and of course this is the same now! We were so confident in the cleanliness and safety we signed u for more classes. The class was packed full of useful cooking tips, tricks and techniques you can use at home. I love the time saving tips Chef shares with the class. He teaches you how to be a more efficient cook. The meal we prepared was really amazing! So after a great learning experience we sat down to a full meal that was better than we would have had eating out.Full disclosure between the three of us have taken several classes from Chef Darin. Knife Skills, Flavor Dynamics, Low Country shrimp and grits and Low Country Chicken, Totally Thai, Summer Brunch, Summer Supper, Tappas and more, Meatless Mediterranean, a Buche de Noel class, Breakfast Breads and a two day french pastry class. I can honestly say that I learn something new or some new technique or I am reminded of a technique every time I take a class. If you like to cook and eat great food this is it!
My husband and I had such a fun night cooking and learning! Chef Darin taught us so many tips and skills, not just how to make our menu items. He and his staff were so friendly and even gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. The meal was delicious. Well definitely be back!
I was thrilled with a cooking class I took at Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table. Chef Darin made the class both entertaining as well as a learning experience. He teaches you many basic kitchen skills along with how to prepare the night’s recipes. His extensive knowledge in the culinary field is obvious with his ability to answer questions on all cooking techniques. You are never rushed and at the end of class you are treated to an outstanding meal that you actually prepared. I will be back in the near future.
Spent a date night with my wife here and had a TON of fun at Chef Darins class. We were in a smaller group so we spent time getting to know the other guests while learning a great deal about preparing food. We signed up for the Summer Dinner selection and EVERYTHING was delicious. Better yet, weve already put some of what we learned to use at home and friends were impressed. Couldnt recommend this place enough.
The pita bread from the Meatless Mediterranean class was amazing. My husband said the stuffed grape leaves were the best he had ever eaten. I have the recipes and the experience to prepare these items at home. What a deal! The class was fun, full of culinary knowledge and the Chefs techniques to empower you in your kitchen. The retail store is a great resource to find the kitchen tool and equipment you desire. I discovered that they do knife sharpening also. Great experience right here in Savannah.
What an experience my daughter and I had last night with Chef Darin. The Summer Supper was so delicious!!! I recommend this experience to anyone. This was a birthday gift to my daughter who wants to pursue a culinary career so this was a great opportunity for her to cook with a chef without any pressure. First time here but definitely not my last!! Great time indeed!! Excellent food!! Amazing experience!!!❤️
We did the Shrimp and Grits with Chef Darin on Labor Day weekend. It was our second time doing a class. We learned so much and it was a lot of fun at the same time. Darin has a great sense of humor too! This dinner was worth the price alone. But you get teaching and entertainment too!Weve recommended this place to a few couples and they have said the same thing after taking a class. We cannot wait to come again!
My wife and I attended Chef Darrins Summer Dinner class last weekend. This is the third class we have taken with him and we had a great time, again. The class was fun, wine selection was good, other participants were great and Chef Darrin was informative and entertaining. We plan to return for his paella class soon.
We had such a fun time at the low country class! Chef Darin shared so many great pro tips that would make someone with any level of cooking experience comfortable and confident. Highly recommended if you’re in Savannah and looking for a great way to spend the evening with friends or family. Thanks Chef!
Darin is a very talented chef and creative instructor. My experience was outstanding - so much so that our group booked a second class with him on our short visit to Savannah. The approach and style of his instruction is equally focused on recipe and technique, the later being useful across all cuisines and food types.Great experience that helps elevate some classic southern food types to a new level.Highly reccomend.
Must Try! We went to Savannah for my husbands birthday and I gave him a gift of cooking. (Really a gift for us both) I read the reviews of all the cooking classes in Savannah and chose Cef Darins. WOW!! The experience was fun and so informative. I loved to cook and learned more in the 3 hours than I could have even imagined. Thank you Chef Darin for the best cooking class ever!! We wish we would have attended every night instead of spending the $$$$ on expensive meals. We will come back just to attend another class. Most enjoyable thing about our trip to Savannah.
My wife and I attended Chef Darins class on Dec 2. We are local to Savannah and were delighted to find this gem in the city. Our menu consisted of Black-Eyed Pea salad, Fried Green Tomatoes, Buttermilk Biscuits, Shrimp and Grits with Red-Eye Gravy and a decadent Angel Food Cake with Pecan Praline Sauce. To begin, Chef gave us a great story on the origins of many of the foods we would be working with including some southern history. What was really great about the class is that he focused, not only on the how-to-do things, but why you do things a certain way.Clearly Chef Darin has done this thousands of times given his level of comfort in front of the group, but this was much more than a cooking class. It was a cooking story with history, technique, training, and much of the who, what, when, where and why - in addition to the how.The class was very interactive. We started as a group and broke into smaller teams to complete our meal. The menu was fun and the food was superb. I dont think anyone (out of 12) had a blooper and it all came off flawlessly. We had a 10 year old in the class and he was made to feel included, and ended up being a fun part of the class.Highly recommended. I will be telling everyone I know and will surely be back again soon.
While in Savannah with a Roads Scholar tour, we enjoyed a great evening at Chef Darins. His teaching techniques, humor, and ability to get the group involved were terrific. We enjoyed a wonderful southern meal at the end of the evening. The facilities are top-notch with multiple screens for getting a close up view of what Chef Darin and his assistants are doing. The great sound system means you wont miss hearing the instructions or the punchlines either. Lovely vacation experience.
Never having been to a cooking class wasn’t sure what to expect. However this was one of the funnest times I’ve had with the husband in a while. Atmosphere was very laid back getting to be hands on to help prepare and learn proper technic was really interesting. Learning about new spices and ingredients shows you more than what we know just inside our normal cooking box . We made very tasty dishes and dessert. I will go back to learn more and just to enjoy another class. If you enjoy cooking or even if you don’t This would be a fabulous evening out with friends, couples, or just yourself. Check it out Savannah and visitors of Savannah.Michele Blocker
Dont Miss the Low Country Cuisine Class!WOW! Chef Darin’s Low Country Cuisine Class was truly amazing! Our group of eleven learned all about the origins of various Southern cuisine and got to apply the numerous cooking techniques Chef Darin demonstrated to prepare a sumptuous meal – shrimp in red eye gravy, creamy grits, fried green tomatoes, cheddar & chive biscuits, black-eyed pea salad and pecan praline angel food cake - using items most of us already have in our kitchens. I highly recommend this 4-hour class of wonderful recipes, stories and delicious food in one beautiful kitchen! Chef Darin is the Best!!
If you have not had the opportunity to attend one of Chef Darins cooking classes, you are missing out. My husband and I attend Chef Darins New Years Eve cooking class and was impressed to say the least. The food, the conversations with other guests, and the recipes provided added up to one fantastic memory. If you are planning a trip to Savannah, check out Chef Darins website first, so you can take in a cooking class.
Loved it! Hands-on learning and everyone can participate. This is a cooking class where youre actually taught how to cook, so if youre looking to actually do the cooking instead of watching someone else do it, this is your class. And even my picky-eater husband liked the food!
Wow, were do we begin? First, by way of background, my and I wife enjoy taking wine tours and cooking classes, and have had the opportunity to experience cooking classes in the US and in Europe, including some 5 star restaurants. We’ve had several cooking classes here in Savannah, so when looking for a Christmas gift for my wife I wasn’t really looking for another cooking class when I happened to stumble into Chef Dar’s web site. His background was interesting and he had some interesting classes described on his schedule, so I decided to book a class for my wife that titled French Bistro Entertaining. When we arrived we were amazed at the setting – it is without doubt the best layout and setting for a cooking class that we have encountered. The “classroom” was roomy, well designed, and made of high quality material. Chef Darin is very personable, entertaining and presented a well-planned meal. He provided information well beyond the class for which we were attending. It was very interactive and just the right amount of hands-on. He presented a topic, showed us the how, then gave us the opportunity to try our own hand at the preparation. The recipes were such that they provided well-prepared food that resulted from a mild amount of preparation, most of which could be done in advance when entertaining. At the end of the class we sat and enjoyed the food we prepared with a glass of wine. There is also a well-appointed shop that you can browse through while waiting for or after a class. We thoroughly enjoyed our class and highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are visiting Savannah. Our “acid test” of any event is to ask one another whether we would be willing to return – both of said Chef Darin’s is a definite yes. We will return.
I love cooking with Chef Darin because I always learn so many new techniques and skills that enhance my cooking skills. Its a great way to spend a nice relaxing evening while preparing a gourmet meal. I often recommend Chef Darins Kitchen Table to anyone who lives in or visits Savannah.
The best thing since sliced bread.I celebrated my 30th birthday with Darins Oktoberfest cooking class. My wife and I had a blast learning from Darin. I most appreciated his fun and down to earth personality. Time flew by so fast and not once did I look at my phone (that says a lot). The food tasted great and the recipes are easy enough to make again. He explained the technique and had answers for everything. Hes like Neo, all knowing! I definitely recommend his classes. He is an inspiring chef and the next time Im in Savannah I will be sure to book another class with Darin.
Chef Darin was extremely knowledgeable and made this class really fun! The theme was Italian and I really enjoyed that he went through Italian history while we worked through the recipe. He also gave great general cooking tips that Ive used at home everyday! The facilities are wonderful and the food was great-- definitely recommend!
Just finished the Low Country Cuisine - Shrimp and Grits class with Chef Darin and it was phenomenal! He has such a great depth of knowledge from the origins of certain foods to preparation to technique. He encompassses all topics in such a down to earth way that you never feel intimidated to ask a question. Even the most well versed cooks will leave learning something new. It was delicious! Our menu consisted of black eyed pea salad, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, herb cheddar biscuits and a pecan praline angel food cake. Every single part of this meal was absolutely delicious. You get hands on experience with each part of the preparation. I would recommend the class to the novice and the experienced cook. You won’t be disappointed. He also has a store front where you can purchase a variety of all things kitchen as well as some delicious jams, jellies and sauces. Enjoy!
My husband and I took part in the Celebration Dinner class, and had a wonderful time! Chef Darin was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. We learned a lot, and had a fabulous dinner! Made my first souffle (crab!) - I must say I did a great job! It rose perfectly, and was delicious. Learned an easy way to cook steak, and a recipe for a sauce that takes it beyond the next level! And the dessert - a beautiful, delicious tart - was the perfect ending. We learned so much, and had so much fun doing it! I also discovered that Chef Darin has a great kitchen store in mid-town Savannah! I highly recommend this experience!
Chef Darin was an outstanding host for the evening. We learned a great deal, had a wonderful meal and had fun the whole time. The facility was perfect for any size group and Chef Darin showed that he has the ability to show his expertise in an informative and entertaining manner. We live in the Savannah area and will definitely be back for another class. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend and I had so much fun at Chef Darins class!! It was a very intimate and hands on experience-great for a date day (4 hour class) with lots of delicious food at the end! Plus we learned a lot. Chef Darin was not only very knowledgeable, he is a great cook and made the whole experience a blast. We did the Shrimp N Grits class. 10/10 would recommend.
Chef Darin is fantastic. His historic knowledge and amazing wealth of culinary expertise make this a must do in Savannah. Make sure you eat before hand because you have to smell all that goodness for like 3 yes before you eat. Making new friends and learning new skills in the kitchen is just the beginning...
I visited Savannah together with eight girlfriends for a long weekend getaway. We planned the trip for about a year, and packed our schedule with dinner reservations, tours and taking in as much of Savannah as we could. By far, this evening was the highlight of our trip.I researched the cooking school options and booked Chef Darin after reading his reviews and because he was so accommodating and responsive. He even changed the menu to feature his most quintessentially southern menu for our west coast group - Low Country Shrimp and Grits. The evening did not disappoint.Chef Darins facilities are top notch, well thought out and comfortable for easy viewing of the preparation. Even the bathrooms are interesting -- wall papered with pages from southern recipe books and pie tins. He also has a well-stocked kitchen supply store with many of the items you use in the class for purchase. We anticipated the food would be great and it was -- one of our favorite meals from a weekend filled with some of the best restaurants in Savannah. What we did not anticipate was all that we learned, including great practical tips for use in everyday cooking, and in such an enjoyable fashion. It was a perfect mix of entertainment, demonstration and hands on cooking. Chef Darin was approachable, welcoming and highly entertaining. He started the evening by explaining his process, the history of the food and what we were about to do. He then got several menu items going by selecting between 1 to 4 guests to work on certain aspects of the menu. Next, we convened to the group cooking stations to finish everything and bring it together for a truly great meal; we brought our own wines planning to pay the corkage fees, but instead bought the wines Chef had for purchase, we had the cab, which was great. We all really appreciated that Chef provided us all with detailed recipes and tips from the evening, which saved us from having to furiously take notes during the class. My only regret is that I wont be able to take his other classes because I live 3,000 miles away. What a great evening -- thank you, Chef Darin!
The Low Country Fried Chicken Social was my second visit to Chef Darins Kitchen and it was as great as the first. We prepared a great meal with great, knowledge staff. The techniques learned will certainly carry over in to the home kitchen and the fried chicken would make my grandmother proud. I highly recommend.
This hands-on cooking class was so much fun & something different to do, on a Saturday night in Savannah! Everybody was so willing to participate & help out so much so it made it more enjoyable. Surprised to see how many men were there---so a great surprise! The menu was awesome, the chef was so patient & the wine delish! Would recommend these classes to anybody who is looking to learn something new, even if its the correct way to hold the knife for cutting! Ive been doing it all wrong!!
I took Chef Darin’s Lowcountry Shrimp & Grits class and it was amazing. Darin is funny, engaging and took time to work with every student on techniques. And the food was excellent (If I do say so myself). This is a great option if you’re looking for a fun date night or are visiting Savannah!
My husband and I did the Spring Seafood Supper last night and had a great time! The food was absolutely amazing and so easy to cook. We learned some great new techniques. Chef Darin is super knowledgeable and makes class entertaining and easy for all levels. We will definitely be returning!
My husband and I took a Caribbean Cooking class with Chef Darin early November 2016. We learned much more than just how to execute the menus-he explains cooking skills and the science behind the cooking steps. It was fun talking with him about possible variations on the recipes. The food was great and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely make the recipes when we get home.

2021-08-10What a delight! I had never had the opportunity to do a cooking class before, and I’m sorry Chef Darin’s was my first experience because it means all future ones will pale in comparison! Our theme was Caribbean, and even my boyfriend who doesn’t care for fish ate every bite. Darin is a fantastic chef, wonderfully humorous and passionate about his craft, and patient with people whose cooking skills could stand to go up a notch. Cannot recommend this experience enough!

2022-06-06This pastry class was amazing! Not only is the food delicious but I learned so much about making a variety of pastries and Chef Darin does an excellent job with demonstration. He is organized, professional and the classes are educational but lots of fun! I would highly recommend this class. This is a 2 day class and worth every minute. I cant wait to attend another class he offers.

2021-12-31We had a fantastic time with Chef Darin! He is incredibly knowledgeable not only about cooking and baking techniques but also about the ingredients themselves and the history of these recipes in the area. The recipes we cooked were fantastic--the shrimp and grits were some of the best Ive ever had and the brown sugar angel food cake with pecan praline topping was to-die-for. And I will be using the knife skills he taught us for the rest of my days in the kitchen!I also highly recommend his shop for all of your cooking, baking, and grilling needs.

2022-01-09Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Shrimp & Grits cooking class with Chef Darin and 9 other guests. This was a wonderful culinary experience and I will be back (yes, I bought 2 more sessions!). If you think you are a very skilled home chef, well, I am sure you arent. There was so much to learn!Education highlights:-Chef Darin gives a lot of history about not just the recipes but the ingredients. You will get a history lesson that goes back to at least the 1700s.-Chef Darin is a comedian!-You will learn what to look when buying knives-You will learn that you have been using your chefs knife wrong all these years and you will learn how to use it.-You will learn how to cut an onion so that it doesnt make you cry!!!-You will learn how to measure various ingredients correctly.-You will learn to be bold with your spices. (You will be shocked that the little bit you have been using all these years is not nearly enough.)Event highlights:-The meal will include a main course, bread side dish, vegetable side, and dessert with all of them made at the event. (Maybe different depending on the event you pick.)-The learning kitchen is well equipped and spacious.-You will all sit down and eat the fruits of your labor together at the end.-Wine is available for purchase.-The kitchen gadget store is very well curated and you get a discount for purchases the night of your event. The bathrooms are very cute and very clean. Chef decoupaged old recipes book pages to the walls for wallpaper and he made the mirror out of a collection of old tin pans in various shapes.-Chef provides aprons for everyone.-Everyone participates. Workstations are 4 to a gas range.-Flat screens are used with cameras that allow Chef to transfer video of the cooking area for easy viewing.
