Drive thru service for pets is new for me. The doctor and support team were knowledgeable and extremely loving toward my dog. They were able to answer all my questions and provide options for toys and things like vitamins. This was my opinion on my first visit. Ill be back in a week.
On New Year’s Eve day, one of our dogs starting celebrating early and ate a cigar (possibly 2). It. Was. Awful. We had just moved back and didn’t have a vet in the area yet, but luckily this was the closest listing. I cannot say enough how wonderful everyone was… even though it was a holiday at 4:00pm and I was a complete emotional mess, not to mention they had never seen any of our dogs before. They are 6 stars and our new vet (although we will not be celebrating that with cigars). Highly recommended.
I cant tell you how happy I am with Cherokee animal hospital the doctor was kind compassionate I couldnt ask for any better my little puppy Daisy was very sick and unfortunately she had problems that we could not fix. I had to put her to sleep but I will say this the doctors the nurses they really cared it was not just that hurry up and get it over with thing. I cant tell you how considerate and how much I appreciate them being kind to me in my time of grief. I highly recommend them theyre the best that Ive ever seen. You need a good vet theyre the best. Enough said..
We are wonderfully pleased with the superb professionalism and friendly service from beginning to end during our Otis’s annual physical. Love that there’s a no-judgement zone in place and the excellent staff take all the time needed to offer options and make choices affordable for different budgets. Everyone loves their furkids, but not all pet parents have the same bank accounts. The staff make it possible for everyone—furballs and humans alike—to get the care they need. :-) THANK YOU!!! By the way, Stephanie and Dr. Green are extra awesome!!
Cherokee Animal Hospital took care of our precious Daisy. After 17 years we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl. She had a long life full of amazing adventures and gave so much love and joy. Dr, Jenkins and staff were amazing and supportive during our goodbye process and we are extremely grateful for their care and concern. Thank you for taking care of our sweet girl till she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the staff here is. Our pup had to have his leg amputated a few years ago and they were phenomenal throughout the entire process! The surgery and recovery process was seamless and they did such a great job taking care of our guy! I am so sad we moved out of the area!
What a blessing Cherokee Animal Hospital has been to our family. I’ve had the pleasure of bringing both of our dogs to this hospital, however my experience yesterday made me a lifelong fan. No one wants to hear their #1 sidekick is sick, but this hospital makes sure your animal is in good hands. Every employee takes time to explain, love, and care for your animal. Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Bryant - thank you for everything. You treated Pinson like your own and I’m forever grateful.
Ive been a pet owner of multiple rescue dogs through the years. All of them required extensive medical diagnosis and treatment. Weve been to many different vets and have found some good and some not. Dr. Bryant and her entire team are a blessing to our pets and to my wife and me. They are simply the best in class in every way. Very grounded and committed to their patients and owners.
The Veterinarians and staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital are the most caring of all that I have taken my dogs to over the years. You dont have to start over when you return. They know our Missy and have added years to her life with their care.Update - Unfortunately we no longer have our Missy, but the Veterinarians and their staff are providing the same excellent care for our Semmi and Tess. I cant imagine going to any other practice.
My wonderful four-legged friend, Beau cut his ear, requiring stitches. I went to Cherokee Animal Hospital and immediately they went to work on my basset. This team is amazing. The doctor, the technician, and the admission clerk took great care of Beau, and answered any questions I had. Many thanks to the entire staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital!!
I chose the vet because of great reviews. Although Dr. Greene was professional I have come to the conclusion that their cost of services is deceitful. I was told xrays for my dogs hips would be $175. He discussed how they sedate the dog to get better views but the cost was 175. No mention of additional cost for sedation, which ended up almost doubling the bill. Then I picked up heartworm/ flea medication and generic rimadyl. They charged me 400% more for the generic carprofen and 45% more for the heartgard and nexgard. They reasoning for charging so much, they go through a distributor. Really?? For the quantity you purchase as an office its not 400% markup.Im sure you get a discount for buying in bulk. They were nice enough to refund me the heartgard and nexgard but not the carprofen because its an open prescription. As a business, you should have just taken the $45 refund as a business loss to make a customer happy. Deceitful practices and passing RIDICULOUS costs on to your customers.
Love everyone at Cherokee Animal Hospital. They are kind and very caring to our dog Chance. He has a lot of anxiety about the vet and has to be medicated before his visits and even though we still have a hard time getting his nails trimmed they are always willing to try first without sedation. We have also used them for boarding and they take very good care of him and call to let me know how he’s doing. Thanks for taking care of my sweet boy!
Im very happy with my recent visit! The vet didnt automatically jump to the most expensive options, and actually set up a treatment plan to work through the different available situations that could be causing my cats illness. Less than $100 for the exam AND medication is the most affordable visit Ive had with my pet. I am happy to report after 2 days on the meds he is doing so much better and Im very thankful the vet was willing to listen to my feelings and concerns, so many vets dont. Definitely a lifetime customer now!
You wont find a more loving and caring staff than at Cherokee Animal Hospital. I unfortunately had to put my 17 year old Yorkie, Beaux, down which is one of the hardest things I have done in my 43 years. The staff went above and beyond through the whole process, explained everything thoroughly went over pricing (which was the lowest I have seen but the services received didnt match the price in a good way). About a week later I picked up his ashes. The way it was packaged was in a beautiful wooden box, a Christmas ornament with his paw print and name, and a card which the whole office signed and wrote a few words. This really touched my heart and though it made me cry like a baby,it also made me smile. Love ya Beaux-Beaux
I’ve gone to Cherokee Animal Hospital for years. The Vets and nurses are all amazing. They have done multiple surgeries on my dog, Roxy, and were available for an emergency visit after she got attacked by another dog. My dog is always nervous going to the vet, but she loves the staff there. They are awesome!
I just want to commend the staff and doctors/nurses at Cherokee Animal hospital. Whether it was the passing of my prior beagle (Molly) or taking care of my new Beagle (Rocky) - just this past week when he contracted Parvo - all I can say is a massive thank you. The team there is not just talented, they just care. This is truly the best Vet office in town. I absolutely recommend and I can guarantee that they will take care of your pets with the utmost care and best advice. Cannot thank the staff at this office more for all theyve done for my doggies.
I have taken my dog here since he was a tiny puppy and they have always gone above and beyond for my pup and I. They show you that they really care and make your pet and you comfortable. I have a German shepherd/Husky mix and that mix tends to be a handful, but you’d never know it based on how kind, attentive, and sweet they are to him. I have also boarded my dog here multiple times and I always feel reassured that the staff are taking great care of my baby. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!
My daughter has been bringing her animals here and recommended that we do the same. One of our cats got really sick, and the whole staff was wonderful and caring. We went through a long week of having him treated and were so impressed. And he is now well and healthy. We will always return here and will refer others. Top notch professionalism, follow through, and compassion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I always have such a positive experience every time I bring one of my cats in here. The girls are so sweet and they know how to talk to animals like an owner does. Its very reassuring, especially in a time like this where we cannot accompany our pets into the building. Thank you for being a great vet office. My whole family brings their cats here and I would tell anyone else in the area to do the same.
Came with my dog with some issues and Dr Jenkins took great care of her. What an excellent vetenarian! You can tell how much care and love she has for animals.Dr. Jenkins impressed us with her compassionate and caring manner while answering all of our questions and then some, by giving us extra knowledge and advise on a myriad of other issues with our dog.It was truly a blessing and a pleasure to have our dog cared by her. Thank you!!!
I have been taking my dogs to Cherokee Animal Hospital for almost a decade now. I cant say enough about Drs. Bryant and Jenkins. Whether a regular check up or an unexpected emergency you can be assured of the best care. As my babies have entered their golden years I appreciate even more their kindness and compassion. The entire staff is amazing......always on top of things and so caring. You and your pet will be pleased here.
It is frustrating to find good professionals, good customer service, and above all people who understand your feelings for your animals, they are like our children. I have visited many veterinarians who only think about money pretty sure you understand me. But thank God, and I mean it honestly, from my heart, I found Cherokee Animal Hospital, people who also love animals (important if you work with them), friendly, professional, great customer service etc, etc. Special thanks to Dr. Bryan and Lena (I love you) thank you for your support for your unconditional help and for your patience.I loved you so much. How can not love them, they saved my dog, they gave me emotional support, they had patience, they even respected (for which I apologize) my sadness, my anxiety and my cries. THANKSThanks you are the best in all of Georgia.
They have been wonderful here! Our dog had a mass growing on his ankle and dr Jenkins and her peeps removed it, they’ve been so patient with us as he’s had to have bandage changes and with only one car between my husband and I they’ve been very understanding that our lil mans had to stay with them a couple times for them. Dr Jenkins is sweet and takes her time explaining options and what will happen during and after procedures. The nurses here are wonderful too, every one or them is so nice. We’ll be back for sure but hopefully only for vaccines and checkups! 💖
Cherokee Animal Hospital is the best veterinary clinic I have ever taken my dog to. They are kind, considerate, and efficient. It is clear that everyone on the staff loves animals and is passionate about their jobs. My baby boy Charlie loves everyone there and gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. Charlie had to have a mass removed two months ago and the vet was very considerate of our financial situation and discussed all of our options and their costs with us. After his surgery, they called every other day for about 2 weeks just to check on him and answer any questions I had. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!
Cherokee Animal Hospital has been my vet for many years. They have helped me through my dog being bit by a copperhead, another dog having esophageal cancer, losing eye site, UTI on dogs..... when one of my dogs passed the office all signed and sent me a card. Great caring people.
After moving to the area and being so far from our previous vet of 15+ years I can say this office made me feel very welcomed and at ease. May have seemed like all I need done was a nail trim on our 10yr old pit mix but he is SUPER nervous of new situations and I needed somewhere that would treat him with patience and understanding. Cherokee Animal Hospital was it! Upon calling to schedule they made me feel very comfortable with the time of the appt to minimize his anxiety and they offered a back porch area to trim his nails, if needed. Once there, he was SHAKING, but the vet techs and office admins were so gentle and comforting-I felt reassured I made the right choice. And then he came out after getting his PAWdicure wagging his tail and all smiles. I can’t say how thankful I am for taking such a gentle and loving approach with my baby!Update: a year later and they are still exceeding my expectations of veterinary care. Our now 12 year old pit mix has received emergency care there twice for GI issues. They are SO compassionate and have called to check on him for days after to see how he’s recovering. I literally can not say enough about this place. As my husband and I discussed- our dog has seemed to of chosen this place too by his demeanor when he’s there. So much less anxious than any other vet experience we have had. It’s truly amazing.
I have been taking my dog to Cherokee Animal Hospital for 5 years or so. He has had some fairly serious issues and hes pretty old. Dr Bryant and her team have always taken as much time as needed to explain options, what we can do to minimize the impact of the illness and how to ensure he lives the best life possible. I love the entire staff They all greet us like we are family and my Cooper Dog is wagging his tail the whole time.
I like two of the three doctors here however as a whole they have issues catering to their regulars where medication is concerned. When an animal who has had chronic issues they still always require an appointment before represcribing medication for the same chronic issue which is unnecessary and becomes expensive. If they were truly my pets regular veterinarian they would keep notes well enough to know which issues are chronic and which arent and thus be willing to prescribe medication without requiring an office visit. This is especially true given that they are already pricey compared to other facilities in the area.
I am newer to the area and when I got a new puppy I wanted somebody close and reliable, but wasn’t going to try and charge me an obscene amount of money. My puppy loves everybody who works here and adores Dr. Jenkins! He is taken such great care of and is always excited to see everybody, I swear he’s a happier puppy when he leaves there than when we arrive. I highly recommend this vets office to anybody, I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.
Weve brought two family dogs here, one of whom Cherokee Animal Hospital took excellent care of up until the very end. They make saying goodbye to your beloved pet special, giving you all of the time and space you need and making sure everyone else is respectful of the difficult time you are going through.Whenever Ive needed to make an emergency visit to the vet, theyve always been able to see us within two days, if not the next one. They treat their patients like one of their own pets, and they always call a few days later to check up. I recommend them 100% of the time!
I have been taking my fur baby Axel here since he was 3 months old. The staff and the veterinarians are great! They are very thurough and address any concerns you might have about your fur baby. Their service prices are not to expensive either. I have also boarded Axel there too. I have no complaints and I would recommend anyone to take their fur baby there for care!
I absolutely love Cherokee Animal Hospital and their people! We have a long standing relationship with Dr. Bryant and Dr. Jenkins. They saved our cat’s life and have been amazing with babies we’ve lost along the way. Their compassion and love for our furry family members is clearly evident. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They truly go above and beyond!
A year ago my cat had a fever ,the ,examen, meds over night hospital stay unknown illness NO diagnosis ! $560 !...now a month ago $275.00 cat had something wrong with her throat and a fever after examining the cat she needed an xray ...ok..NO diagnosis..got a cortisone shot.$275....two days later cat got sicker, went back same problem something was not right with her throat same place different vet with in 2 min diagnosed a larve on her throat/neck she tried to take it out, but it was too infected and needed surgery, $240.00 well deserved..now the initial exam with NO diagnosis was more expensive than the surgery with meds..lol..
The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes a 120 lb Labrador can get a little hyper, but they dont seem to mind. Theyve taken care of my dog for the last 2 years and have done an excellent job. The prices are average for a local veterinarian. Despite seeing my dog only once a year, the vet seems to remember him and has taken an interest in keeping him healthy. Id recommend this vet to anyone with a pet.
Our animals have been seeing Dr.Bryant and Dr. Pepper for more than 10 years. I must say that Dr. Bryant is one of the BEST vets I have ever had the pleasure of bringing my animals to. She is very knowledgeable and explains EVERYTHING in detail to you. She CARES and that is most important. Our Riley has seizures.. and she will call us and text us to see how he is doing after one. The whole staff there is wonderful and knows all our dogs by name when they come in and make a point to know their little quirks which is wonderful and the dogs love it. Dr. Bryant also gave CPR to our beloved Shiloh when he went into cardiac arrest. I cant say enough good things about these doctors. We are so thankful for them.
Brought my 11 year old Boxer here for a 2nd opinion after he tore his CCL over Christmas. He wasnt getting much better at all and we were desperate for some sort of treatment plan. Got in to see them and they were all so sweet and so professional. Dr. Johnson came out and talked to us in depth about options. It was so awesome to get a plan that wasnt just narcotics to manage his pain. We are starting laser + acupuncture with Dr. Bryant this week for the next 6 weeks. He had a laser treatment last week and has been much more mobile since. I am elated!!!!! Highly recommend!
Dr Bryant and the staff were so wonderful and patient and loving this morning when I was struggling with the decision to put down my beloved cat, Elle Woods..I feel they knew I was having trouble and presented all my options as well as providing a mini grief counseling session. Im beyond grateful for them and as long as Im in the area any pet family of mine will be treated only by Cherokee animal hospital
We recently lost one of our babies, Shiloh, and the entire staff wrote notes of condolences on a card to send to us. Even though I cried while I read it, I was totally amazed at the thoughtfulness! We also adopted a baby boy and took him for his first visit. I am always so thankful to see our Vet sit on the floor and play and love, and get to KNOW our babies. We are encouraged to bring them by for happy visits, so they familiarize themselves with the office and the staff. It helps take the fear out of the equation. We get great advice and help with ideas for training and sometimes even get a new perspective on how to think so we dont miss things! I would recommend this veterinary clinic to ANYONE! 💜💜
We had a wonderful experience here! So kind and gentle with our older lab and totally listened to us. Best part was they are more cost effective than other vets we have been to in the area and did not push anything on us! Loved it there and so excited to have a new vet that we feel we can trust!
Kitty Olivia is a new patient and Dr Bryant has been wonderful to us! She aspirated a mass and then made room in the calendar to remove it. Everything has been top notch: check in, cat only exam rooms, pain medicine that a kitty easily takes, and phone follow up. I am so happy we found Dr Bryant and Cherokee Animal Hospital!!
Love this place ! I have had dogs for 50+ years and loved in many places. I can not say enough good things about them. From Dr Bryant to the techs and the gals at the counter. Professional and personable. If I had to move away I would travel here if it were in driving distance
I love the fact that my concerns are never a bother for Dr. Bryant when it comes to my rescue Shyla. She listens to my stories and helps me with understanding my 4 yr old husky. When I am in the animal hospital, Ive noticed how Dr. Bryant is always so kind and caring toward every pet that walks in the door. Her heart is definitely flooded with love for them. The same goes for the staff too. Thank you for all you do. It doesnt go unnoticed.
Like many others, we can’t say enough good things about Cherokee Animal Hospital. We’ve rescued Boxers now for 25 years (currently on #5 and #6), and we’ve experienced numerous vets in California and Georgia – a couple of which we thought were really good. But none come close to CAH. Dr. Pepper gets our vote as “Vet of the Century” and the other doctors and technicians we’ve met there are professional, compassionate, and helpful. It’s obvious they all love animals. Their extended hours on Monday and Tuesday provide great options, too. We are very blessed to have such an outstanding facility so close by. It’s no wonder they are consistently voted as the Best in Canton year after year.
This is the best place to take your fur babies!!! The entire staff is very knowledgeable loving and supportive. They will take the time to explain everything to you as well as all of your options. I have never left their office with any questions or wondering about what was going on with my fur babies!!!! My fiancé and I would gladly refer them to anybody. They take care of your animals as if they were their own.
I cant say enough good about this place! EXCELLENT, caring, knowledgeable staff and doctors. Receptive to the needs of pets & their families. Willing to listen and happy to oblige within the confines of whats best for the pet. I cannot imagine taking my Little Guys anywhere else!
I was delighted to find a vet that was near my new location, Canton, that was also an independent practice, and not part of the big national chains. My cats last vet had been one of those chains (starts with V) in the Roswell area up until my move last summer. It seemed that at V.. they were always trying to cross-sell or up-sell something...and were very pricey in general.Anyway, my kitty had a serious looking un-diagnosed injury to his leg/paw due to a fight with another cat. I was able to get an appointment at Cherokee Animal hospital on the same day I called, which was a pleasant surprise since I was not an existing client. I was seen promptly on arrival (even though I was a few minutes early). I was told that my cat would be seen by one Doctor, but she was running late due to a surgery. Instead I ended up being seen by the Vet who owns and runs the practice, which was nice, as it allowed me to learn more about Cherokee Animal Hospital.it turned out that my cats injury was not as bad as I had feared, and he was given an antibiotic shot and some pain medication to take home. Boy was I relieved...I had visions of something much worse. The kitty is slowly healing and seems well on the way to recovery. The cost for his visit, diagnosis, and medications were very reasonable, certainly better than I had encountered at the big chain.I found that everyone I encountered at CAH, either on the phone or in person, to be uniformly friendly and helpful. In summary, I had a very positive first experience at CAH, one that definitely exceeded my expectations. In fact, a follow-up email survey from CAH asked what could we have done better?, and I honestly could not think of anything to say! Now how often do we get to say that these days?!!!So I think CAH is great, and I certainly plan to be back. Thanks guys !!
This animal hospital is the best around! Weve been using them since moving to the area 2 years ago and could not have for better service or love for our pup!Dr.Pepper is always so comforting and sweet explaining everything that needs to be done for the visit and answers all of my many questions. We threw the office through a loop when we got orders to Hawaii and they did wonderfully getting our dog all set to go! Even the day of after a call to the office crying, Angel pulled through and got us exactly what we needed for Bo to fly on the plane. I cannot say thank you enough for everything the office personnel have done for us to make this move as smooth as possible!Thank you for all you have done to get Bo ready for the big move and assurinv me if we need anything we can call :)Chris and Alyssa
My sisters dog almost died here getting teeth pulled. Vet hit a blood vessel and couldnt get the bleeding to stop. After the whole ordeal of the beloved dog (whos not a senior dog) lost a lot of blood...pressure dropped really low. They also still charged her $600 after the ordeal. No excuse or counter explanation needed. Just incompetence. :( ... Please go elsewhere.
I dont know be anythingt about this clinic except I took my kitten in with diahrrea.two months after two months and second set of worms treatment they want to charge me another 80 because nothing is mproved, she is an indoor cat, she should have been given a thorough diagnostic.they insist on charging me another 80 and I am seniora trying to survive on ss.there are other organisms besides worms which she should have been tested for, this same thing happened to me two years ago and I had to research and tell the vet myself what they missed.this is a racket, the vet should do another be diagnostic at no charge, this cat is strictly indoor, this will be reported to BBBShame be on you for taking advantage of seniors
If I could give zero stars I would! They tried to take advantage of me because my animal was hurt and they saw I was emotional about it! Said my animal needed really expensive surgery or it wouldnt heal! Jumped from one worse case scenario to another! I got a second opinion and a few weeks later my animal is just as healthy as before without surgery or amputation!
My dog, BP, is as sweet as he can be, but unfortunately he is also a rescue puppy. When we got him he weighed 35lbs (crazy for a lab mix) and had cigarette burns on his belly. He has a huge aversion to people and is afraid of his own shadow. About two months ago, he had a seizure and fell down our stairs, so we rushed him up to Cherokee Animal Hospital. Dr. Pepper kept him through the day to make sure he was alright and sent him home with some epileptic medication. Due to BPs aversion for people, it usually takes meeting someone several times for him to warm up to him, however, when we took him in a second time for blood work, he bounded to Dr. Pepper, beyond excited that he was seeing her again. I knew then and there that I wouldnt be taking my pets to anyone but Cherokee Animal. Theyve handled everything so well and they really take care of the animals. 😊
I only wish our people doctors were as caring, loving, patient and compassionate at the entire staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital. The have taken care of all our family s pets for years, and will continue to do so as long as they are there! God Bless CHEROKEE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!
Very easy to get an appointment. The Vets are caring, compassionate and thorough. They take the time to explain illnesses and treatment options. I have been taking my felines to Cherokee Animal Hospital since 1988 and have never been dissatisfied with the level of care given.
First off I wasted time there by bringing my kitten in. All he needed was boosters. He had an exam at another facility. When I called and requested an appointment I wanted boosters only. No exam. I remember being specific about the no exam part. Then at the appointment after waiting (way too long) they told me hes required to have an exam. Thats money I didnt have so I had to walk out. Miscommunication error, but still... had I known he was required to be examined when I spoke to the girl on the phone I would have just not. A waste of everyones time. :(THEN I called about my kitten losing a tooth not realizing it was his baby tooth that came out. Instead of assuring me its normal and to just keep an eye on it she kept pushing me to bring the cat in and all these awful things could go wrong and he could get infection. I realize that but all I called about was if cats lost baby teeth or not because I was freaking out when my cats upper fang came out. It was a simple question. Ended up being no big deal in the long run but all this girl was worried about was giving me exam prices and coming in as soon as possible. I had to cut her off and hang up. Just annoying... I go elsewhere of course for my cats care.I never interacted with an actual veterinarian and I dont mean to bash. Its just my experience. Im sure they arent awful or anything.
I’ve had pets my whole life, and I’ve never found a vet that I like as well. I totally trust you with my dog’s health care. I can’t think of anything that I would change. Dr. Bryant and the rest of the staff are so compassionate and knowledgeable. Reagan has improved tremendously since our visit. I recommend you guys to everyone who moves into our neighborhood.
Most caring animal hospital Ive ever been too. Both the vet and her assistant got down on the floor with my 28 lb dog and gave him lots of loving as the vet examined him. He whined and cried when they left the room! The vet was crystal clear in her instructions for how and when i should treat the pup so i left feeling very confident. I highly recommend Cherokee Animal Hospital.
I dont usually leave reviews but after visiting cherokee animal hospital tonight. I had to leave a review. From the moment I called to make my first appointment to the visit it was so welcoming and caring and very informative. I just want to express a big thank you to stephanie for caring for my gentle giant shiloh tonight. As well as the ladies at the front desk. This visit is and has been the best visit we have experienced. Thank you all again
The smart, thoughtful staff were great with our Corgi puppy and two 10 year old cats! They were able to get the cats right in when my babies were showing signs of a possible cold/infection. The nurse and doctor reassured me, then examined the kitties thoroughly without pushing expensive tests. It is the perfect facility for our pet family!
Cherokee Animal Hospital is the best! All of the staff are kind and caring and definitely want the best for you and your pet. We recently lost our dog of 12 years and we could not have had a better experience in such a hard time. We have since gotten a puppy during the quarantine and they are handling the care of pets with excellence and continued individual care at a safe and social distance. My drive from Cartersville is worth it!!
We have used Cherokee Animal Hospital for years ~ with my three cats. We lost our 16 year old sweet boy and the office staff called often to check on me. Now we have ventured into the Dog world...wow! As never being a Dog owner the questions have been overwhelming for me. Never once have I frustrated anyone at the office. They take my calls and the time to explain the things to make me understand and feel better. My dog loves going to visit and gets so very excited to see Dr. Bryant! He loves to give her lots of puppy kisses. The love, care and compassion they show my family is amazing!
Ive had a pet since I was 16, and this is the ONLY vet who has ever offered to see my pet on a Saturday - even though they were double-booked. The situation wasnt an dire emergency (even thought it was in my mind), and they said they would work us in if we didnt mind waiting. Most vets would say, No, we cant see you today, or Not today, we are booked. And I cannot say enough about the care my pet received. The vet and vet tech were so calm and caring my nervous Chihuhua/Min Pin mix was calm too. So I now have a new and permanent vet for my pet family, and I recommend them to everyone!
I have been taking my 3 dogs to Cherokee Animal hospital for a few years now and they have been great each time. What has kept me here over the years is the sense of care that they give to each of my dogs. After each appointment, I always get a call just to check in and make sure we received our prescriptions or just to check in on the dogs and see how they are doing. They truly care about each animal that walks through the door, and that is what I want from a vet-- especially since my dogs are an extension of my family.
I highly recommend Cherokee Animal Hospital. They are always quick and efficient. My pups are always taken and evaluated within 15 minutes of our appointment time. The only case that we didnt was when they had an emergency right before us with someones pet--which is TOTALLY understandable. The best part about CAH is that I feel as if they are honest with options and understand that each client gets to choose what they are financially capable of doing. I really appreciate their kindness towards my dogs and transparency with me! They treat my babies like their own!
From my first phone call asking for an appointment to our driving out of the parking lot, everything was professional without being stuffy. A pleasure for both Janet Jackson and I. Follow up from their office was so appreciated. They have a business model in place and the employees use it. It makes for a comfortable place for all involved.
Our older dog had been under the care of Cherokee Animal Hospital for arthritis, but Dr. Jenkins suspected another possible problem. After testing, she confirmed the worst. But, Dr. Jenkins’ kind bedside manner and sensitivity to our dog (and us) made the difference in getting us through the loss of our pet. Cherokee Animal Hospital’s staff was also caring and concerned from beginning to end.Thank you again, Dr. Jenkins and Cherokee Animal Hospital for your professional and personal care during a difficult time.

2022-05-11I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I ended up here today for the first time with my 5 month old cattle dog that I accidentally hit with my car. I showed up distraught and every staff member I had contact with was so kind and compassionate. They went above and beyond caring for my Beau. Dr. Green was so thorough and knowledgeable and even told me not to beat myself up. I will forever bring my animals here as I feel they truly care about their clients and patients. Thank you Cherokee Animal Hospital for being the absolute best!

2022-02-02I recently took my aging fur baby to Cherokee Animal Hospital after Dr. Green moved here. Not at all close to me as I live in Dallas but so worth the drive! They have been awesome. With the devastating issue going on with my dog, they are so very compassionate and caring. They call me to check on Princess after each visit, which are often due to a tumor.Dr Green is hands down the best as it gets. And after having operated on her 3 times within 2 years, I only felt comfort in him doing so now that my baby is 13 years old!All of the doctors are great and the techs are hands down the most caring and sensitive Ive experienced. I dont know where they find these guys(and girls) but they make a terrible situation as pleasant as one could ask.If they are convenient for you you should definitely allow them to care for your fur family!

2022-02-17Cannot recommend this place more! I’ve taken all of my pups to Cherokee Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. They treat me and my pups with kindness and always take the time to talk through everything. The entire staff is wonderful. I can tell they love their job and all the animals. I completely trust them.

2022-03-07The staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital are second to none. When I take my pets in, I know they are receiving the best care because the doctors and nurses truly care. They follow up after every visit, and are always so kind. We had to say goodbye to our dog several months ago now, and the compassion and care they showed us during the process made it just a bit easier to make that difficult decision. We now take our cats here, and we couldnt ask for a better place for our animals.

2022-06-15The staff here has been amazing! We moved to Canton, GA, in 6/19 & needed to find a vet for my 3 senior citizens. I heard great things about them from our cat sitter so when my youngest got sick & started throwing up this winter I called. They were full up with appointments, but put me in for an emergency appointment. Same thing with today, 6/19/20... My youngest started having issues in her litter box so I called & they got her in on an emergency appointment. The staff is great, very friendly & kind to both the animals & their fur parents. They give options for treatment.Addition:We had to make the tough decision to help one of my Senior cats cross over the rainbow bridge on 8/8/20. Dr. Johnson was great. She was very compassionate & patient with me in helping me make the decision. They gave my husband & me time to spend with our baby both before & after. I appreciated that they made a difficult decision a little easier. Lots of hugs given by the staff to help show their compassion.Ive now had to make the decision to help 2 of my senior cats cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The staff here is very compassionate about these decisions. Ive added 2 new younger cats to my family & the full staff has been awesome in taking care of these little girls. They always are so kind to my babies when they are there.

2022-04-20Always trusted this clinic. Communicated well with me about my pets. Knowledgeable & caring. The only issue I have is letting my pet go alone into the building but if I didnt trust the people here I wouldnt let them go alone. The dogs come out pleasant & not traumatized so I will continue to trust them.

2021-11-27Ive had several dogs over the course of my life - all of them finding and holding a place in my heart. One such friend was Farrah. She was ridiculously sweet and the perfect 55 lb. lapdog. She was an integral part of our life. Unfortunately, we recently had to say goodbye to her. However, this review is not entirely an ode to a wonderful friend, but to a staff that seems to legitimately care for and understand the powerful bond between human and pet. After Farrahs passing, we received a card filled with handwritten condolences. Ive never seen anything like this from a veterinarian service before. This heart-warming gesture accompanied two incredible doctors who showed amazing compassion and care throughout the entire ordeal. The techs were perfect, too. I will never forget my Farrah, and the entire staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital will forever be the place I turn to for help. We thank ALL of them!

2021-12-31So this facility rocks and now has a customer for life. My 5 year old spaniel ingested 4-5 cigarette butts today while I was out of town. We had a pet sitter that was watching her and noticed that our girl had emptied the ashtray. Went to take her to my regular vet and they stated they were to busy to see an emergency. What?!? Too busy for an emergency, that’s what I thought vets were there for. That being said, The staff at Cherokee Animal Hospital were more than willing to treat my dog as an emergency and took her right in, even without me ever having been there before. They treated my girl and were more than accommodating for this emergency situation. Thanks so much for your love of pets!!
