Love the staff, the prices, and the variety - especially with hay! Our weather has been insane lately and if a particular hay strand wasnt available (which is not the normal) they worked to help us find the next best fit for our animal. They are all personable, helpful, polite, and really give you that small town friendly feel. I love it. Please dont ever change!
A great place to go to the Head plenty of stuff for your Wildlife that have plenty of stuff for your farm animals pretty much have everything that you need friendly atmosphere

We were in the market for a 16 foot Tarter gate with wire mesh. We searched high and low for someone who had it in stock. My wife finally found Cherokee Feed & Seed and the they had a great price as well. We drove all the way from Resaca to pick it up. The bonus was the friendly smiles and great service when got there. I especially appreciated the help loading it. I wish they were our local feed store. Looked like they had quite a variety of merchandise.
Best hay selection and helpful staff!
They have everything you need for your farm, whether small or large. They also deliver! In addition, their dog food supply is quite extensive with many quality brands not found else where. And then there are the helpful people who happily load all your supplies into your car or truck, if picking them up rather than having them delivered. Wonderful people with high quality merchandise!
This is one of the farther feed stores for me to go to and mostly out of the way- but I go here anyway! The hay selection is truly unprecedented and it has always been good quality, no matter the season. In my experience, all those I have dealt with at the store have been friendly and willing to help or answer questions. I will continue to shop there!
Alan, Steve, Ruth, Jeremy and ALL the staff at Cherokee Feed are not only friendly but very knowledgeable!! They take time to listen to your needs, and are always willing to make the customer satisfied. When my husband bought hay that I wasnt happy with, they had no issue with taking it back and replacing. As an equine veterinarian, I send my clients to Cherokee Feed because I know they understand the needs and requirements of the equine athlete, pasture pet or old retired friend. Go visit!!!
Best place to buy feed for horses! Staff is extremely knowledgeable. I have a cushings Horse, and with there help have created a fantastic diet for him. My picky eaters? No problem! Wonderful staff and always helpful! Everyone!
First time there today and the staff was helpful, educated, well spoken, and down to earth. Wonderful experience and I will definitely make them my full time feed store. They provided all the answers to my many questions, sometimes even before I had to ask. They dont treat you like youre stupid. You can tell they really care about the customers experience. Thanks to the staff!
A little bit expensive but I dont mind for the quality and the knowledge. Definitely a great place to go for all your animal needs. Its not a petco, its a serious feed store.
I went to this place looking for Ivermectin and hay. I was in the store a good 15 minutes trying to find the ivermectin. There were three men at the counter when I walked in. One just stared at me but none of them acknowledged me at all. When I went to the counter to inquire about hay. The remaining person just slid a price sheet at me. His response to my question was “when we get it”. Um...okay. So you have no idea of when you’ll get more orchard hay?Needless to say I walked out and never looked back. This is not a place I will ever attempt to shop at again nor will I recommend it.I don’t want to say they were racist but they were definitely not interested in my business or helping me. They were NOT friendly nor helpful toward me. I went somewhere else to find what I needed and received way better service.

I was in the store as I have been on a regular basis for long before it changed hands years ago buying my farm supplies and fish feed for 2 acre pond. Have always been treated with respect from all the staff. I was waiting on my order for the day when I saw the owner. I ask how much a used aerator was,he said $50.00 but it has holes in it.I said has holes in it? He said what you want for $50.00 another customer busted out laughing.I felt he was trying to make me look small. So much for supporting local business. If I want junk Ill go to the scrap yard.

I have shopped here many times. The staff always goes above and beyond to help and has the product I need. My daughter and I made a trip there the other day seeking help for a sick chicken. They made a couple of calls to get some advice then when I went to my car and found my battery dead they stayed after hours to get my car started. Thank you!!!

Their Customer Appreciation Day was FANTASTIC! All my feed was Buy Four - Get One Free! I love the BBQ and roasted corn. All the vendors were there to answer my questions. Cherokee Feed & Seed has the best hay anywhere too! I cant wait for next year!!!

They have so many hay selections and the hay is first quality, heavy bales.

About 40 mins out of my way but the only place I will go for chicken and goat feed. After discovering tractor supply charges the same price for a 25 pound bag as this place does for a 50 pound! Very nice people! Also I didnt have the truck and yes a bail of hay will in fact fit in the truck of a mazda 3! Lol

2021-12-26Incredible experience with their customer service from start to finish. The staff member who helped me pick out a manure spreader for my husband was very knowledgeable about the product and Colton, the employee who delivered it went so far above and beyond what was asked to make it a special surprise delivery for my husband on Christmas Eve, complete with a bow and all. Thank you guys so much!!!

Mr. Alan and his team are friendly and professional, give great advice on the products they stock, the store is bright and clean, the selection of products for equine, bovine, canine and feline are superior, and they have wonderful community events that facilitate networking and build friendships. 2020-09-26Amazingly helpful people. Took the time to learn about our project and to find the fencing that we needed. Had exactly what we wanted and then went the extra mile to explain the best way to attach the fence to the posts. Honestly, its worth the drive. They even loaded the fencing into the vehicle for us. Wow!

2018-11-29Im a regular in the store weekly always a wonderful experience! from the time I walk into the door to the time I pull out its always great! Great variety of feeds for my horses even though they are picky (mustangs gotta love em) and the hay is always top notch ! All employees are nice and got a few who do there job and then some seems like (always going out of the way to help ) really cant get a better feed store then this .....great quality! Great prices! Great service! Great customer services! Just gotta love Cherokee Feed And Seed!
