We hadn’t been back in about 3 months because our last experience we had really bad service from the bartender. The bar only had 2 other guests and it took about 20 minutes to get drinks. The bartender ignored us the whole time because she was too busy flirting with the 2 soldiers at the bar.We just went back today to give it another chance. The Hostess sat us and we waited for about 15 minutes before deciding to leave. The restaurant was basically empty and were never greeted by our waitress. No excuse for it because we watched the waitresses talking to each other in an empty restaurant.
The location is staffed and doing business. I did a review about 6 months ago. The problems that existed then, are no longer plaguing this location. We got seated right away by a wonderful host. Our server arrived promptly and full of smiles. She assisted with menu suggestions. Our drinks arrived in just two minutes and the food followed shortly after. Everything ok as hot, fresh, and tasty. We will definitely be returning to this location. As staff return the service and food is way more consistent.
To start, the restaurant looks dirty and outdated. The CO2 machine was down so they only had lemonade and iced tea. I ordered the mango chicken and they ran out so I ended up getting the chicken quesadillas. My mom ordered the ribeye with brocoli and loaded mash and my husband ordered the smokehouse combo with the quesadillas, crispers and sausage. I had 2 bites of my quesadilla and immediately got a stomach ache. My moms Ribeye was tough and had a had a weird after taste. My husband hated his brisket quesadillas too. No one was able to finish their food and we all woke up with nasty stomach aches. The service was good, there are no complaints there but for sure they should do something about their cleanliness and their kitchen. I definitely dont think well be back. Again, NOT THE SERVERS FAULT, She was sweet and attentive and we still tipped her accordingly but after the pandemic all Chilis have been sadly falling apart.
My chilis experience sucked. I order a 13 dollar salad that wasnt fresh and had sour tomatoes. My waitress was horrible as well. I had to pay my 16 dollar bill even though I had to send it back and she still made me pay. Wouldnt recommend. If I could give half a star I would. Go to Applebees instead.
As a manager, I would be ashamed at the quality of food that was coming out of the kitchen. Burned quesadillas that wouldn’t qualify as croutons on a salad. Fries were undercooked. The salads had minimal ingredients, and what was on there was...poor quality. The server we had seemed poorly trained but was at least pleasant and seemed like she was trying. Based off this meal, I would never return, but I know from previous experience that this Chili’s can do better. Providing this review because the food quality is and has been consistently poor lately.
My family and I had an early dinner there yesterday. We had to sit outside due to my wife being Active Duty military which was no biggie. Unfortunately, it began to rain hard and we were getting some mist from the wind blowing. I asked our server if they could put the plastic flaps down and she went to get her manager. He came out and did it himself and he wiped down the chair my wife was using. He had smile on his face and chatted for second before going back inside. My only complaint was the dish I ordered. It was supposed to be carnitas, but it was more like pulled pork. Dont get me wrong I like pulled pork, but I was set on the carnitas. I did take pics of 3 dishes. The fish tacos, the carnitas, and cajun chicken pasta. Also, Id just like to say thank you to our server and the manager for responding to my request so quickly.
To-go refused to take my order 30 minutes before closing by phone, and told me to come to the restaurant. They refused to take it 20 minutes before closing when I came it the restaurant. To-go is not enforcing social distancing and allows customers to gather and wait inside near the door/counter instead of in their car. The bartender that night and the to-go girl both were not covering their mouth of nose. Kitchen staff wore no mask at all. Wait staff did not cover their noses. It is clear they dont care about protecting customers from the spread of this virus or about following CDC guidance. It is negligent.
I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli. The steak was like a hockey puck & it tasted like my food was warmed up in the microwave. I believe the cooks name is Charles. I was even told after ordering my food was put in the microwave when I requested a refund I was told it might not be possible.
Great service!!! Not crowded at all. We went on a friday evening around 8PM. Our server was Mona (Williams)? She was the best. Fast with our dishes, remembered all our requestes (group of 8) and just geuine hospitality. The food was really good and tasted freshly made. I had the smokehouse platter with ribs and brisket casadillas. The meal comes with fries, street corn, pickles, and toast. It was very filling. Definitely would go back soon.
Placed an online order, was told to pick up approximately 30 minutes later, and when I arrived, they brought out half of my order and said that they didnt have the ribs I had ordered, what did I want. The meal was ordered through their app, and they had my phone number. They could have made an effort to call me and inform me that they didnt have any ribs.
My family and I went there today for lunch. My husband was at the bar at first and the bartender, our server, was very rude to start with. She was the blond with the black hair. She took the person’s order beside us first, we were there first.We ended up moving to a table in the bar area. I ordered the loaded potatoes soup and it came out wrong and cold. When I asked to have it re-made she had attitude about it . When our food came out it was all cold and stale. When she came back yo throat table she again with attitude said “is this whole table done?” She had a smirk on her face as the owner stood beside her.This was by far the worse service I have ever received there. This was my last time going there. I will not pay money to be insulted or treated bad by a server…. that applied for that job….. If her day was bad maybe she should go home.
First off this was the best experience Ive had in a restaurant for a long time!The service from miss April was beyond expectedShe truly k owe how to understand her customers need and want before they do and she knows the menu very well offering great suggestions to an unsure customer.the cook in the back was great providing food that beat our expectations.The manager Brendan has made a great team an provides a great and pleasant atmosphere for all the guests as we where surrounded by happy guests laughing and enjoying themselves definitely recommend and we will be back regularly!!!
Service was really poor from the start. We waited forever for queso, and even longer for our food. The whole time, theres a table of 3 behind us being extremely loud, cussing and yelling. My husband finally got his food first, and we decided when we got my food, we would ask for boxes. The waitress came back about 10 minutes later with my food and i politely asked for boxes because it took way too long to get our food and im tired of listening to the table behind us yell and curse. I also asked the waitress to take my plate back and have someone in the kitchen box it up because the plate was too hot for me to handle. So apparently the woman at the table of 3 heard me (i dont know how because i wasnt talking very loudly) and started yelling at me, calling me a racist, etc. The manager stepped in and they decided they were gonna leave. I told the manager what happened and he said he heard them prior and he understood what happened. Didnt offer to make it up to us in any way. We got our boxes, paid, and left. I get home and see my fajitas. And wow. Not impressed. Service was horrible, food looks horrible, and we will NOT be coming back. Applebees is so much better.
Desiree was our waitress on Saturday, May 11th 2019. She was sweet and knowledgeable. Went for Mothers Day and our fourth wedding anniversary celebration. Nothing but good things to say, quick and friendly service at this Hinesville location, thank you! Sometimes it feels like you cant get away in Hinesville. That night, I did. Great job.
WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL NEVER GO BACK & I DONT RECOMMEND. They also pick and choose who to ID. The first woman never asked me for an ID and I ordered my drink perfectly fine then when I wanted another one I was asked for my ID. I didn’t have a problem showing it but why ask after I already purchased one If you want to follow the rules don’t pick and choose when you want to follow them!
I ordered my food on doordash a few moments ago. Margarita chicken? I received for weird sized pieces of chicken that all seem to be cooked a little bit differently and the rice was extremely dry. Food was nicely packaged and everything. They put no napkins or silverware. The amount of rice was pretty pathetic as well considering it why is an entree. The apple blossoms were the best thing. But for the most part the food was overall Bland. There was still pink in the chicken as well but not terribly pink.
Restuarant was clean and the service was great, so no complaints there. Giving three stars simply because it is plain unimaginative Chilis food. You know what youre going to get, it never changes, and it is what it is: not bad, not great. Good location in Hinesville, and great service. The three stars is certainly NOT because of the service.
Jus had a bad Experience here 04-12-20 5:05PM, I made a huge order and On my Honey-Chipotle Full Order Ribs they didnt give me my Corn, and Mashed Potatoes, same thing happened with my daughters Chicken tenders she didnt get her Broccoli. I called to explain and they left me on Hold... This is why I dont trust Take Out Good I should just stayed home and cook at home. Unprofessional Service. They should credit back to my credit card.
Nice interior and friendly staff, however of all the chilis Ive been to this one is the worst as far as food goes. All over the country I frequently choose chilis as a safe dinner option, I know the menu and know it will be good. Not this time! Bland, not consistently cooked, and careless portion sizes (both my spouse and I ordered the onion petals as a side, we got wildly different portions on our plates). Im not kidding, the burgers are awful, unlike any other location Ive been to
There food is good! No problems there but I’ve tried their curbside pickup twice and both times I always have to go in. I park in Togo and text that I have arrived which they ask you to do and after giving them 10, even 20 minutes they never bring my order out. When I go in and ask for it they bring it straight from their counter already packed and ready to go. Who knows how long it was just sitting there while no one bothered to bring it out to me. Why offer curbside at this point.
Today we went in after my husband’s retirement ceremony for lunch. The service was very good! However the fries were old (which the server said new ones were cooking). The chicken on my salad was obviously previously cooked. I had to send it back because I Wasnt going to pay $13 for a salad I wasn’t going to eat. They did cook a fresh-small piece of chicken so I was thankful for that. But it is obvious that at 2:30pm-the cook or chef is trying to use food that was cooked during the lunch rush. Not impressed. But at least the ladies working hostess and servers are good! I appreciate that!
Good server. That was all I could say positive about todays visit. Ry took good care of us. So why 2 stars? The restaurant was very cold. Now Im from the north originally and almost never wear a jacket or even long sleeved shirts, but in the restaurant I wished I had my Chicago winter coat with me. BTW thats always the temp here it seems so dress appropriately. While usually the food here is okay and what one expects from a chain restaurant, today the food was simply bad. Chicken strips in the appetizer were undercooked. They appeared raw in the middle and were still cold at the center. The salads were mainly trash hearts and stalks. The burger was ordered medium and was cooked beyond welldone. The fries and other sides were all cold to the touch. Upon tasting the frys most guests commented that they tasted old as well as cold. I could continue but you get the idea. Does this mean I wont go back? Well, it will not be my first option. Because of the server, we will try it again. The front end people are nice. I just may stick with chips, cheese and drinks.
This restaurant is disgusting. When my husband and I were seated our booth smelled like vomit. We asked to be seated elsewhere. It took 20 minutes. Our waitress got our drink order wrong, our entree wrong, and on top of that the bathrooms were TERRIBLE!!! Water from the sewage stands beside every single toilet. When you flush the toilet water from the sewer spews from under them. I don’t know how the health department hasn’t shut this place down. Especially during this pandemic. I will never go back.
Waiter was great- food was good for a chain- was satisfies with app and entree. - problem was the dead roach in ladies room. - ok they must have sprayed- went back to the table and sit In my window seat and a roach crawls across the window. On the inside.! I had a fit. Not jumping up stupid or anything- more like sudden anxiety but not being loud. Told my Great Waiter. And he said I can’t reach it from here- no shock no emotion. Like it was normal. - I took the wire Basket that the onion pedals were in -empty now - and smashed the roach on the glass. Smeared a bit. Told the waiter I was good. And yes we tipped.
OK. Since when do I have to scan a code to see the full menu? What if my phone doesnt do the scan? Asked the waitress if she could give us an actual menu to look at, and that rude woman rolled her eyes. Really? What about the older generation that doesnt do the new technology? My parents would be lost. And I know that is hard to find people to work, but have we really let our standards fall so low that its OK to roll your eyes at your customers? No thank you. I will opt out of this place.
HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and got a disgusting over cooked burger with raw mushrooms on it!! It was supposed to have sautéed mushrooms and onions, which it didnt even have any onions on it!! This is my first time here and my last time coming to this restaurant!! Even the lettuce if you wanna call it that looked gross!! Whoever prepared the burger obviously didnt care!!
The burgers were tasty and the fries were hot (and not greasy). The server was friendly and did a great job with our table of six. The nacho appetizer folds the tortilla around the nacho ingredients ( must have !). The wait for a table was short even with six people. The maitre d even pitched in cleaning to get us drafted. This chilis interior was dated but the service etc made the meal fun.
Food was pretty bad. Tortillas were stale and hard, when I asked for fresh ones it seem like they couldn’t find some that were edible. There was cheese in my daughter’s mandarin oranges and my son’s chicken poppers tasted strange and old. I know it’s chili’s so maybe I should manage my expectations.
My wife ordered steak with shrimp on it. It took forever for the food to come out and when it did, there was no shrimp and they did not give us utensils. The shrimp did not come out until we were done with the meal. I asked Burt, the waiter, to comp the shrimp and he said that the manager said that we have to throw the shrimp out to get it comped. I spoke to the general manager, Brenden, and he said this is the first that he heard of this and that he would discount the shrimp. I told him that the shrimp was suppose to be eaten with the steak and that it should be comped. We argued over it and he gave me a lot of attituded. Finally, he decided to comp us. My wife told our server that the manager said he never spoke to our server about us throwing the shrimp out and why he lied to her. Burt then said, I dont have to deal with this, and walked away. Mind you, my wife did not give him any attitude and never raised her voice at him. She wanted to know his side on whether the manager was lying or not.
Weve been here before (been about a year) but this was by far the most disgusting waste of money this time. Meat was great, all the veggies undercooked, even after we sent it back! We were waiting for about an hour and our waitress never checked on us before our food got there, never refilled our drinks, realized the wall next to our booth was filthy as was my glass of water with floaty straw paper or something in it( thank god i didnt drink it) Long horns is a little more expensive and gets busy but way better of an expierence!! Edit: DONT DRINK THE WATER!
We waited for 30 minutes for a table. We completely understood that it was a Friday, on a military payday weekend, no biggie. Food was good, but our waiter left something to be desired. I would make eye contact with him and he would turn and attend to another table. I really wanted some more tea and my daughter wanted more water. 😕 Thanks for the exented wait while making sure your other table had another round of sodas and margaritas. I was highly impressed with the attention he provided to his other tables though.
I have an emotional support pet with me and Im traveling out of town- they let me take her in the outside area to dine. I ordered the waffle and cripsers but only got the crispers. When I received the main course, the guests I were with, were all done eating. Waitress did not pay attention when she took our order. She was our second waitress because the first had to leave. We were outside a while during the transition.. not that great service all in all! But they were very gracious in allowing me to bring my furbaby in.
My husband and I ordered a carry out order. The order was for a well done steak and Texas fries. The steak I received after picking up the order was rare and bloody. The cheese on the Texas fries was also crunchy and hard. My husband took this food back to exchange it, and they told him he couldn’t get the food remade. They said that they had too many orders, and it would take around 2 hours to remake it. We should have been at the top of the list to have our food remade, because they’re the ones who didn’t have the order correct. This Chili’s location needs new management, and preferably one that knows how to run a store.
Honestly Ive put up with Chilis for as long as I could because my 5 year old daughter loves it but today was it for me. Hour long wait when the whole right side of the restaurant looked wide open. Ive had instances of my steak being overcooked twice and brought back and still never got fixed. One instance it was just my daughter and I and we were midway through eating. I had to take my daughter to the restroom and when we came back our food was gone.
I spent $30 on a trio fajita and a kids meal today. I asked 3 times when placing my order to ensure that the fajita toppings, sour cream, cheese, Pico, etc were included with my order. I received none of that. I called to let management know that even though I requested the INCLUDED toppings for my fajita, including extra limes, nothing but guacamole was in my bag. When they said they could replace my kids meal, I said it wasnt the kids meal that was messed up, it was my $17 fajita, they said they would not replace it for me at a later date. Horrible management decision, you lost a guest by that simple act of negligence.
My son and I went for dinner last night. When I looked over my bill later when we got home I noticed we were charged for some food that we didnt order. I called the next day and spoke to Ashley the manager and told her what happened. Ashley was so nice and helpful, she refunded me for the items we didnt order. It was an honest accident and Ashley was so nice to talk too, we will definitely go back. Thank you for being so helpful.
Came in Tuesday for dinner, worst service ever. Waitress name was Taylor, guess now days they dont write your order down so by the time the enter it into the computer half of it is forgotten and wrong. Drinks didnt get refilled, soup came out and no spoon, had to get up and ask for one from the bartender. She drop off food and take off fast, asked for extra sour cream and got extra ranch. Pretty much every thing about our dinner was wrong, even my fajitas was burnt making everything taste burnt, I dont complain while there. Will pay and write a review of my experience. The lack of service ever since Covid started has gone down hill, if your not happy with your job find something else you enjoy, dont screw up other peoples nights or their dinner! Wont be coming back, plus normal managers walk around asking how the service and everything is going not that manager watched walk around, but guess he doesnt care how the restaurant is running!
I just picked up my order after a 14 hour work day, frankly I am completely disappointed. No utensils, barely a teaspoon of coleslaw, no dressing for my salad( the lack of dressing really is the kicker). I tried to call the store to get my order fixed but could not be connected due to an answering message stating customer cannot receive calls at this time. I guess after wasting $60 I still have to drive to the store to get it fixed. See yall tomorrow I guess Ill be making ramen noodles tonight.
Was not very happy, the hostess had us on a waiting list for 20 minutes and 35 40 minutes later I walk in after other people have walked in after me and was seated before me and one of the Im assuming managers said she never put me on the waiting list. I received one text message for letting me know that I would be receiving a text message when my table was ready and never received one so I waited for 45 minutes for a 3 person table that I should have been seeded in 20 minutes. My waitress was extremely Pleasant. She was a great waitress. My food was not cooked as I ordered it.
Taylor was our server. She went above and beyond and is a amazing person. She was up front with how the kitchen was backed up but we stuck it out like the true champs we are. The food this particular night was horrible. Our main course came out luke warm like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for a hot minute. After waiting for over an hour for food Id expect it to be HOT. Not sure when we will be back as this isnt our normal place to eat at. But if we ever do Ill be sure to request Taylor!
Restaurant was dirty and we arrived at 11:00am ,they had just opened . Table that the waitress sat us in was dirty and the floors hadnt been swept yet . Chicken wings were tuff and the fries were not as great as they usually are . We have ate here before and it is usually on point . It would be a great idea if the manager walk the restaurant before they open their doors .
I ordered some food tonight and the waitress said it would be 15 minutes and she would call my phone once it was ready. We went outside to wait and noticed that it was past 15 minutes and we still did not receive a call. We went inside to see if the food was ready and the waitress and another lady was already counting down the drawer and our food was in a bag sitting on the side of the counter as if it was sitting for a while. The waitress said that our food was not sitting there long. We got home and not only was our food on the cold side but there was hair in my food. It was less than 15 minutes from the time we left the store to when we got home. The manager said that because it was an in house order he could not reverse my payment. So now I have to fine a last minute place to order my food which a lot of places are closed. Not only am I out $41 but I’m also out the meal I ordered tonight.
The worst establishment in America. I was doubled charged for two meals. My daughter and I ate there and our meal total was $45.19, checked account the next day and total removed from account was $104. We did not eat $104 worth of food. Same issue happened in Orlando in April with a Chili’s restaurant
I ordered dinner for the family from Chillis tonight and had it delivered by Door Dash. The sheer incompetence of the people who prepared our food was unbelievable. The corn on the cob came frozen. FROZEN! How is it even possible that they didnt feel three ice cold ears of corn when they placed them in the bag? Even worse, the Cajun Chicken Pasta came WITHOUT CHICKEN! Who does that? They ruined my familys dinner and of course Door Dash is only offering a partial refund. Order from Chillis in Hinesville at your own risk. The food was horrible and so was the service.
Decided to give this restaurant a chance and it was a total loss. Ordered shrimp fajita only to find someones hair mixed in with the shrimp. The meal came out looking great. However this doesnt make up for the hair that was in it. I will be talking with the owner about this.
Ordered a carside to go order using their mobile app. Process was easy. I arrived and alerted the restaurant via the app. It took about 8 minutes before my order was brought out to me. Through the bag everything looked to be in order. However when I arrived to my destination, I noticed a topping was missing off of my burger. There were no silverware, napkins or ketchup in the bag as requested. I’d ordered a dessert with ice cream. While the ice cream was placed in a cup, it had no lid on it, so it spilled into the container. Overall, the food was fresh and good. Just missing a few items that I didn’t think to look for before pulling off.
First time back since Covid lockdown, and I fear this place has changed. Ordering was challenging. You have to scan the QR code, no big deal, but the online menu system didnt work. After finally ordering, the drinks came, and they werent that good. I actually ended up returning it and getting a soda. When the food came, it was just ok.
Excellent management! Our hostess noticed we didn’t get our appetizer when our food came out and asked if we still wanted it. We asked for it to go since we already paid for it, and then the manager came out and explained to us what happened and told that he had taken off the appetizer off of our bill. We were fine with having it to go, but the fact that he had taken his time to make things right was great! I love this chili’s. Always great food, quick service and attentive waitresses!
They where short staffed so after order food took 30 minutes to get there my daughter wait almost 20minutes for a drink then wasn’t given any silverware to eat with after order parts of order was missing and when food came to the table it was cold the wait staff was trying to work two different side of the restaurant and you could tell she was overwhelmed because the first waitress we had left and we ended getting a waitress switched in the middle of our dining experience
The food was great but the service couldve been better. Our waitress did not check on us until she saw us paying using the kiosk. We were also seated at the smallest 2 person booth when clearly there were an abundance of empty tables and regular sized booths. We ended up making room for our meal using the ledge. 😏
The waiter we had was amazing. She was very accommodating to our son who’s very active and bring out his food immediately.Came around to check on us a good amount of times. Refills were always brought out without asking. By far awesome! Just regret not getting her name. She was wonderful
They sent us a text saying we had a table (after we had already waited 35 or 40 minutes) only to get inside & be told that they are going to move our names to the back of the list!!! We got there within 7 minutes of receiving the text & a male member of management indicated to the front-end greeter that he had just cleaned a space that we can have, yet some skinny/short female came along until & said no claiming we had went over the 10 minute limit. Even after the greeter told her I was in fact there before the 10 minute limit!
They asked if we had a child with us and we said yes and they asked if we wanted a high top table. Their was a wait of 30 to 45 minute. They are worried about covid but they had people sitting behind other people in the booths and half of the left side was open with hardly any people.
Best buffalo boneless wings and the presidente margarita was mmmm good. Good prices and great service if ya sat at the bar. I dont know about the restraint service. Bartender was friendly inviting and eager to conversate. Great time. Great staff great food and drinks.
I’ve been here a couple of times already. The food is always good and service is the same. Being as I’m an infantryman here at Fort Stewart, the only thing I’d recommend for management is to offer a “military discount”. At least when the service member is in uniform. Most places offer it around here and it’s usually a 10% discount. I can’t see that hurt their pockets too badly I’m sorry, I know all too well about enlisted pay. It says a lot about an establishment though to offer small things like that to their customers, especially the ones who stand ready to defend this nation.
Loved my burger it was both tasty and huge our server was very attentive. But sadly I have to take one star because someone did not order enough keg beer (Mich ultra) the most popular beer in America. Management tighten up this is on you. If you sell more of one beer then the others order more. Not having the requested beer on hand could cost you both money and patrons.
I have always been a fan of Chilis but today this one went above and beyond! My coworkers and I are essential workers and have had very little to choose from at the cafeteria so decided to order out today as a morale booster. I ended up talking to the manager to place our order for 15 people and she was so attentive and went out of her way to make sure we were able to get our food. After we had our food delivered, she realized there were a few things missing and personally called me to let us know and sent the driver back to deliver them. Out of 15 orders we only had 2 that werent absolutely perfect. This lunch made our day! We really appreciated what they did for us and the attentiveness sure makes this Chilis stand out for me!
Ordered the fajita combo with carnitas and chicken but there wasnt a lot of carnita on the plate, barely enough to make one soft taco! The just pile a lot of onions and peppers on it to make it look big! The soft taco shells were cold and definately not worth the $17 bucks. Also, they charge you extra for chips and salsa, which I didnt honestly know but $4.67 a person is a bit too much for that! Way overpriced for the amount of food you get!
Incompetent staff. The entire point of curbside pickUp is to not bring my kids inside. We sat outside for 20+ minutes and made 3 calls to the restaurant that went unanswered. I shouldnt have to chase waiters around your restaurant with my baby in my hands because you guys cant properly staff your to-go area. And of course, the food was cold!
Service was quite good, drink special was good too. Reasonably priced as well. Ribs were tough fries were cold and soggy brisket was very fatty and not cooked well enough to render the fat so its chewy. The only redeeming food item was the Mexican street corn (Elote) and honestly if youve had the real thing this barely covers the basics. But its a failing fast casual Tex Mex chain restaurant that always seems to be in an identity crisis so what do you expect
We ordered curbside (and tipped) through the mobile app. We arrived, then notified the store (through the app) that we were there. We watched as the time we were given for our order came and went, still no order. So, I went inside (completely defeating the purpose of CURBSIDE) to see what was the delay. I asked the host to please check on the status of my order. He went back to a staging area to check and what do you know, our order just sitting there getting cold. I usually have great experiences at chilis, both dine in and curbside, but this time not so much.
Walked in and felt it was going good as I was automatically greeted by the hostess. Asked to go directly to sit at the bar. I guess worst mistake ever!!! I watched as the manager went to greet people she knew. Had multiple waitresses look my way at the bar and no one even seemed concerned to even greet me. Sat over 15 min and decided it was time to walk out. Sad that no one even realized anything until I mentioned it to the hostess. Horrible disappointed
Posted on my other email. My gf got chicken fingers and both orders were undercooked and her broccoli was extremely salty. Remind you right now we are in a pandemic so it wasnt busy AT ALL. They fixed our bill by switching the charge of 2 for 25 to just my meal and both our drinks and the desert. I couldnt finish my food because she wasnt enjoying hers and I was upset because as simple as her meal was they couldnt get it right. They are now the equivalent to Applebees for me.
To go ordering is a joke. Waited 25 minutes past the time I was told my order would be ready while countless others walked in and out, waited while a random guy flirted with the employee at the POS system for 10 minutes and then decided not to even place an order.None of the kitchen staff wearing masks, wait staff would walk into the back and take masks off
Food was great! Had to wait a bit at the to-go area to pick it up although I was there 5 minutes after my order email advised. They seem to get a lot of curbside & take out orders. Ordered 3 for $10 - 1975 Tacos, chips & salsa, & diet coke. Never ate that before but pretty tasty.
This Chilis has been unreliable lately. The take-our order portions have been all over the place - even in the same order, 1 bag of chips was full and the other only half full. The food is often cold when I receive it for take out. Disappointing since the restaurant used to be more reliable.
If I could give them no stars I would! Saturday October 24, MY BIRTHDAY, I decided I would order from Chili’s and have my husband pick it up! I’m vegetarian and don’t eat meat. My husband brought the food back home I realized there was meat on it! Even though I had stressed the issue of not wanting meat! I wasn’t upset, everyone makes mistakes but because I was still hungry I called back & was promised by the manger hat she’s make sure my food was prepared correctly! I go back this time and pick it up and after waiting for 20 minutes finally get my cold food! Ok, go back to the house and realize There’s still meat on it! I’m super annoyed at this point because I’d looked the food over before I left and hadn’t noticed the tiny pieces of bacon hiding beneath the cheese😔 I call again and the manager is very polite and says she’ll be giving a refund as well as sending a coupon in the mail! I was fine with that! We didn’t get back around to chili’s to pickup the refund until Wednesday morning hen we were told that they never said that they’d be issuing a refund! Throughout this whole thing I was kind and understanding but come on! We won’t be returning and neither should you!
I will have to say my last experience at this restaurant was so horrible that even when they gave me free chili bucks to get me back on my way out the door I handed them to a couple that was sitting down eating because I had no plans on coming back that was 6 years ago thats how bad it was. My daughter wanted her birthday dinner there so I said its been a while we will see if they have improved and they had. The wait staff far exceeded their average standards she was awesome. The food was perfect temperature, flavor,and accuracy was completely on point. We had 13 people in our party 11 were teenagers and that says alot. Will be coming back soon.
Lately it has been pretty Good. Made a mistake on the burger and manager and cook acted quick to fix it. They genuinely made it right without any attitude. Have been going here since they opened. Bumped my review up to 5 stars from original 4 stars they are worthy of 5 stars last few visits have been Really Great!!!
Ramona is the best part of this store. I took a large party here yesterday and she handled everything with great care and great attention. She made sure to call everyone by name and was very kind to meet our unique needs. Please make sure she gets the credit she deserves.
Not worth paying for old food.Just had a pretty lackluster meal there this afternoon. I ordered some items off the Fresh Mex portion of the menu.. Waited forever for the food to arrive. Food tasted old at first bite.. Most of it actually tasted like reheated leftovers. If I had not had to wait so long in the first place I would have sent it back and just left. but seeing as how my waitress only stopped by the table once to give me a refill that wasnt an option.The man who appeared to be the Manager on duty was too busy stopping by each and every table with a woman to concern himself with the garbage his kitchen was sending out.Cons:Sorry quality controlServes Old, Overcooked food.Slow Waiting StaffManagers that spend their time flirting with younger women than doing their jobs.Pros:Some Friendly StaffClean EstablishmentOverall:Save your money and go somewhere else.
Went for lunch today, food was good, service was OKAY. The waitress was training a new girl, the new girl provided better service then the trainer. She was quite rude, wouldn’t let me get a word in, talked to my company and blatantly ignored me. (Joke is on her, I paid) all in all, don’t think customer service was her cup of tea. Thus, 3 stars as I wouldn’t give one star based off of one person
Staff was unorganized, slow, and unprofessional. Took around an hour to get our food, and even then, it did not come as ordered. Had to remind our server of the simplest of things, such as silverware and what types of drinks we had (for refills). In regard to the wait time, we were told that the kitchen was just really backed up, when there were only maybe four other tables with people. Would not recommend at all.
We went out for a birthday dinner. Our party was rather large for that time of night. The food was very good. Our experience was amazing thanks to our server, Mona!!! She was amazing! She took everyones order without writing any of it down. Didnt repeat it incorrectly. When our food was done, she gave everyone their correct plate! When you go ask for Monas section. Tip her well! Shes worth every penny!
I usually come to Chilis and dine-in. This particular day, I didnt feel like cooking, so I ordered on the app. That was a big problem! Finally with 30 minutes left, (before they closed) I end up calling in. My food was ready, (slapped together) they charged me different from the total they gave me over the phone. I see Chilis in a whole new way now! I will say those southern egg rolls are something scrumptious.
The server didn’t pay attention to detail, so we had to ask her to correct our meal over and over. It’s as if she insisted on giving my party what we didn’t want. Then she got an attitude and blew real hard. The food was okay, but the service was awful. It been almost 2 years since me and my family have gone to Chili’s. I believe that management needs to ensure that their personnel are properly trained, and take time to perfect their brand. The server is a reflection of poor management.
Worst Chilis l have been too!!! Available liquior selection was lacking...only 1 type of scotch available. Why was Spinach dip dropped from Menu??? No light to see available liquiors, lighting surrounding bar was poor at best. Atmosphere was hugh disappointment for the Chilis chain. The only saving grace was what one would expect, customer service wise, from the bartender which was good (hence the saving grace for 3 stars)!!! Wont return here for awhile until l hear improvments have been made!!!
Food is always on point! Service is hit or miss. Our last visit was during the after lunch before dinner lull and surprisingly the service was sparse. Eating with two children and myself the table got pretty full...very fast. None of the empty plates were cleared throughout service making for a very un-navigable table ( we had gotten apps....whose empty plates remained throughout). Also took a very long time to finally get my waitress to take my payment method. All in all not an entirely happy visit. Although, I must say; the best service I have had was when it is busy.
Waitress only came to our table 3 times. Waited almost an hour for our food. We gave up and left. Sat next to a pile of dirty dishes on the bar. A daquri that tasted like toilet water. Waitress that played on their phones with drinks in hand. When we asked where our food was we were given nothing but attitude.Thing is, it wasnt even busy.
The first time I went was really y, but I went yesterday and the chips and salsa was way to salty, then my fries cake and they were very salty to,then I went to pick my burger up that the bun was so greasy that grease was dripping off the bun. I have mixed feelings about going back. Because the chef they had yesterday was salt and grease happy. My so that had the triple deal and the breading on his chicken was so soggy and greasy. I do hope they get a better chef though.
Excellent service. Amazeing staff. Friendly atmosphere. I ate there big burger and fries food was amazeing. Till i broke my left molar into pieces. On a bone in my burger from the pulled pork or meat itself? They are suppose to contact me when it got filed. The GM happened to be there. Other than a servere pain shooting thru my sinuses into my brain. Everything was great up until thenAlways be careful wherever you eatAccidents can happen no mater the establishment. Feeding toddlers off your plate calls for really examine the bite before you give it to them....ty...Have a Blessed Day.
Always a great experience when visiting here. Depending on the time of day or night, the wait can be ridiculous, but if you go at the right time, theres no wait and no problems and the food is paid more attention to so its cooked better. The servers are great. I havent experienced a negative server there at all, and my family goes a lot; once per month.
My son went on a date with his girlfriend here on the 15th. His girlfriends food was fine, but his was freezing cold, after the long 20 to 30 minute wait that he summed up to then cooking the food, youd think his plate wouldnt be like ice. Extremely disappointing. Wont be returning.
Horrible service. My waitress sat down for 40 minutes with her friends. Another waitress had to pick up her slack. She came to our table 2 times .We waited for our food for over an hour and a half. I have never had bad service with them before. I will likely not go back again. When I spoke to the manager she acted though she wasnt really concerned.
Food not that great, waitress trainee was actually better than the trainer. Trainer did not ask if we wanted desserts or drinks to go, just gave us the check, said no hurry and that she was busy. The time we were there was between 3 and 4, there were only a few other tables with customers.
Food was good, bartender was deplorable. 3/4 through my meal, after she washed dishes, she shook her hands, spraying both me and my food with dirty dish water. I guess I was done with my meal at that point in time. In addition she all but ignored me, never asked if I needed anything, never refilled my beverage. I guess she was too busy talking to her friends. Oh, including myself, there were only three patrons at the bar. If you go there, avoid the bar, or just choose a better restaurant.
Even for a slow night, everything took forever. Ordered a salad and asked to have it come out before the meal. It was the last thing to come out and was not what we ordered. Food was okay, but it had clearly been sitting. Our server was friendly and polite, but she would tell us she was going to bring x or y back, and ten or fifteen minutes later, shed make it back with whatever it was. Wed be totally understanding if this were a Friday or Saturday, but its a Tuesday night; and the restaurant wasnt even remotely busy. Be prepared to wait and have average food.
Its normally a lot better than the last time. My husband and I was seated by a huge Alabama fan that asked if Id take my sweat shirt off to be waited on. Lol. Uh... no. Proud GA fan all the way, baby!! Our service sucked Even though we did leave a pretty good tip. I guess you could say we paid extra for the hair she left us in our chips and salsa. Not sure what happened to this location, but something has to make it not as good as it was and it used to be one of the best. Could be the smart ass attitudes of the waitresses that are now calling themselves working in there. Sad that some of them actually are working and do care about their customers!!!
Our server was unorganized and seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. We gave her our order and then 10 minutes later she comes by and asked for our order again. She forgot she took it already and we were not waiting so we got up and left. My drink was also served to me wrong. Ive always had some kind of issue at this chilis. we will not be coming back. Here we go. January 18, 2019 my wife and I went to Chilis in hinesville and they need help. It was around lunch time before the wave arrived. I got the lunch special, the chilli as an appetizer and the burger and fries. The chilli wasnt great, to be honest it wasnt good. It was more cold than warm and it tasted like it was from the day before. The burger was fast food quality, however the fries were good. The problem was there was only 8 fries on the plate. The waitress needs some training. Once we declined dessert, she had no problem showing us how to pay on the table tablet. If she wanted us to hurry up and leave, she shouldve said so. Boy I tell you. I shouldve went to Wendys.
Loved my waitress Ramona!!! She was incredible. So attentive and sweet. Our food de-licious!!! We got the three for $10 which got the strawberry lemonade with chicken enchilada soup and cajun chicken pasta. Everything came out perfect. My husband got mango tea with southwestern soup and quesadillas. He loved it. The food and service was awesome and so worth coming back.
I am giving this place 3 stars only because its hit and miss. Sometime everything is great and other times I wonder why I even bother. The last few times have been through pickup and 2 of the 3 times my order has been messed up. Either missing something all together or the wrong side.
Ordered ahead still waited .. Total of call and arrival 50 mins. Awesome Blossom is not an actual style blooming onion its onion petals, brisket is very thin and mostly fat, my toast was actually squiched under my meat covered in sauce, sauces were not tha best, my husbands steak was pretty pink for well done ...AFTER ALL THIS I STILL MADE SURE I TIPPED THA WAITRESS IN CARHOP :)
Coke didnt have much carbonation, tasted flat. At $2.38 for a beverage I would think they could do better. Guacamole was less than par, tasted old. Fajitas were excellent. Update: since Chilis used to be our favorite we went back. Unfortunately, I will now have to change my rating to 1 star. The server was polite and did her job ok. But the food was lacking: the onion petals were tasteless. The beef nachos were over heated so the cheese came out dark brown instead of golden brown. The meat of the the steak fajitas was excellent. But the guacamole was almost black, only a couple of strips of onion and green pepper when they used to give you a generous amount for your $18 fajita platter. And lastly, they changed the menu so it has much less pictures of the various offerings. Without the photos, its hard to tell what youre getting. Anyway, all Chilis arent like this one, and for now , Chilis the brand, will still be our favorite. But we wont be going back to this one for a good while. I hope they get back to where they were a few years ago.
I believe the servers name was Mo she made us feel unwelcome she took our drink orders then for some reason brought two waters to the table when asked to fix it she never returned a different server brought our meals and we waited for her to return to fix the drinks she never did. We flagged down a Manager to get our drinks which he did the server then visited directly beside ours and visited with them then walked straight past without saying a word to the back where she stayed for the duration of our meal. Once I grabbed the small tablet to pay suddenly she appeared asking how everything was an different she could get us anything. She got 3$ Her service was atrocious! IF I go back it wont be to her section.
So me and the husband just got stationed out here and went to have lunch everything was going good till I looked down and it was a roach walking across our table. The manager came and killed it then apologize said they was having a problem with bugs.... I’m sorry we will never eat there again
My friend and I are in High School and we went there. Our movie was at 7:15 and we walked in at 5:50. We ordered our meal at 6. Many families came in, ate, and left as they did not bring our 2 person meal until 6:57. We felt as if we were taken advantage of. We only had 5 minutes to eat until we had the chance to leave. I am very disappointed.
This is the 3rd time Ive ordered food to go and this is the 3rd time that it was cold. Online it says that it will be done in a half hour so we go there and we end up waiting another half hour. Then they bring out the food and some of it is hot hot and the texas cheese fries are not only cold but the cheese is burnt cause its just been sitting under a heat lamp. Never again.

2022-05-06Chilies can be a little pricey, but… it is always worth it. The food is amazing, the service is fast and the staff is very friendly. I’ve never been here and had an empty drink. They don’t bug you every 5 minutes asking if the food is alright but always come by just when needed. Highly recommend this place and will continue to come back here.

2022-05-26We walked in to about 6 people waiting to be seated. A couple said they would sit at the bar because there was seats available so I said my wife and I will sit at the bar to and the host said we got other tables coming available so we wait like 15 minutes with 6 tables empty not at the bar and 3 at the bar empty and then they seat us at the bar where wanted to be seated and would already be 15 minutes into getting our drinks and probably ordered already. When the host sat us she told our waitress that they just sat us at her table I saw her roll her eyes 👀 and put her head down and walked to the back. We got the large Texas fries and the platter that came with 2 sliders which were so over cooked. Boneless wings which were dry and the southwest egg rolls which were good. Its getting harder and harder to find a place that is consistently serving good food and good service.

2021-10-17I was visiting Hinesville and decided to order take out from this Chili’s. When I say the food was disgusting. My wings was raw and uncooked, the tenders had whipped batter that looked like clumps of flour with milk (they were uncooked as well), and now I’m experiencing food poisoning. I’m having a terrible upset stomach. Against my better judgement, I decided to try this place out. But I am regretting it. I still have the majority of the food and plan on sending pictures to DHS and corporate office so that no one else have to experience food poisoning from this place again. It’s important to properly cook all food before serving it to customers to avoid this from happening. As I was told that they were very busy and overwhelmed but it was only a few vehicles (less than 12) there when I picked up my curbside order.

2022-01-14ROACHES!! So I had a to go order and before I even got home I wanted to just open my food up in my car, as I did I see something move on top of my box and it’s a live roach. I then move my fries around and there were 3 dead roaches in my food. Never will I ever eat there again.

2022-04-10Southwest steak skillet. Not bad with the food and our service was great. The server came to us several times which is always a plus. The only negatives are the score which should be an A. Not sure why it was an 83 but thats just above acceptable. The hostess also moved a tad slow clearing a table that was piled with food and utensils from a previous party. Maybe theres a staffing issue so Ill chalk it up to that. Clean parking lot. The place could use a sprucing but once again it didnt take too much away from the overall experience.

2022-04-10I just want to start off by recognizing your waitress Janelle. She is one of the best servers I have had anywhere, in a while. Shes very attentive. Thorough. And just on top of everything. I am very pleased with her service.The food came out quick. Was hot. Cooked exactly how I ordered it. And tasted great.Stopping here prior to our movie in Jesup is definitely not a regret. My son and I will be back as long as service remains the same.

2022-03-04This place is a family favorite and one of the few restaurants we will go to. We rarely have issues with our food, and any time we have, it has been promptly corrected.Sometimes, when you order drinks from the bar, it can take a while to receive.
