Their food is not good. They dont know how to brown their rice at all. The egg rolls are nasty. Its been a few years since I ate here. I gave them another try and they failed again.
I love the food, but the service even is better! The hostess remembers us and our orders, even if I call it in, and if the whole family isnt with me she asks how they are. When my kids or I have been sick she offered to throw in soup to help. Tonight my daughter decided she wanted to eat all of my rice so the hostess gave me a free refill. I feel like family here!
THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST FOOD! The ONLY place I will go for Chinese food! I have compared even the vegetables to those from other more expensive restaurants and no comparison. Fresh, crunchy and definitely food is tastier. I highly recommend trying them at least once. You wont go anywhere else.
I go here every Friday night and the food is so good. Its always fresh and the prices are good. Very friendly staff that cares about there customers. I tell everyone that lives around me to go there!
Great service! The husband/wife owned the restaurant was very nice. I went with my 2 daughters and they even offered to give me a ride across to chateau elan, the resort we were staying in! General tofu was yummy!
Not good Chinese at all. Weve been twice; and both times were not good. It felt like 5 pieces of chicken swimming in onions. Terrible; will not be back. Only people giving decent reviews are robots or dont know what good Chinese food. Ive gotten better Chinese food at the mall.

No these 5 stars arent from a paid spokesperson. Just a simple country boy from Virginia. I have ate here countless times in the past few months I have spent in the Braselton area, and they havent failed me thus far. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the service is prompt. I typically place my order in person at the counter, and its freshly prepared in around 10-15 mins. On some occasions, I have placed my order over the phone on the way from work to the place where I hang my hat, and by the time I make a quick detour to pick up my food its ready. I love this place and anytime Im in the Braselton area I will be stopping here for dinner.
I went in to order some chicken fried rice. I asked for a side of teriyaki sauce to go with it and the cashier told me they cant do that and that it only comes with an order of teriyaki chicken that I would have to purchase separately.I was bewildered and said so theres no way you can sell me a side of teriyaki sauce at all and she said no. They just lost all potential business from me and the empty restaurant on a Saturday was very telling of the service you can expect.
I was sceptical on this place but tryed it anyway. The people working were very polite and respectful. It seems to be very clean. The food was very tasty and did not bother my stumick. We will be ordering from them again. Keep up the good work. Also had a 99 on there score on the board.
We have been eating at China Garden for a couple of years. It just went under new ownership and we do not like the food any longer. The new owners cook much differently than the previous owners. I got sesame chicken combo. The chicken was slimy, they put NOTHING in the fried rice - no vegis or egg anymore. The rice had no flavor and was gross to me. I also had hot and sour soup which lost its flavor too. My wife ordered sweet and sour chicken and couldnt even eat hers because she didnt like the taste or texture of any of the food in her combo.

This place is awful and Ill never go back!!! The fried rice is just white rice tossed in some brown liquid for color with an egg scrambled in it...very disappointing! Oh and dont even get me stated with the egg drop grease doesnt deserve to be called soup😕

Very friendly and quick. Walked in and placed a to go order, they got it ready within 10 minutes. Plenty of food to feed 2 with one entree. Will be visiting again.
Great food with the added benefit of being prepared without MSG. Very moderately priced as well. The only thing that would make it any better is if they were open on Sundays

The food was good customer service sucked while I was waiting for my take out I ate a couple of mints that were in a small dish next to the register and the lady said in a rude tone you must like those mints and I said yes I do she said that they were a nickel each I said ok by this time she says no you can have those two and so I still told her that I would pay for them well for such a big deal about it that I just dont go there anymore.

2022-04-11Its not too often I feel compelled to write reviews about places I visit, however this place WOWed me and I feel I have to share my experience. If you dont want to read, heres a breakdown of different elements of my experience ordering from here:Service: 5/5Food: 4/5Value: 5/5Atmosphere: 4/5The single thing which impressed me the most with my experience with China Garden was the quality of service. Ive ordered food online countless times, and of those countless times, my order has been messed up more times than I can remember. However, not with these guys. Not only was my order precisely as requested (including with extra specification in the notes of some of the times) but also it was right on time! I pooled a lunch order with 3 of my coworkers and requested a pick-up 15 minutes after they opened shop. I didnt honestly expect my order to be ready when I arrived, but it was precisely on-time, still hot and with steam diffusing from the cartons.Additionally, the value is unbeatable in this area, save for fast food. The lunch specials split the cartons evenly between the rice and the dish, and fill it up almost to the brim for under $8. I have shopped around many Chinese restaurants in this area, and China Garden is the only that gives that kind of price for this quantity of food. The picture I took below is me having half-consumed my dish. I only wish I took one ahead of time to showcase the sheer volume I got.The food had a mixture of highs and lows. The inside of the egg rolls were soggy and had an overcooked texture, but the outsides were both crispy and with fresh oil, which is a welcome change from most Ive tried. The fried rice was plain-tasting but the egg added a fair amount of taste and texture to it. The sweet and sour pork was admittedly awesome, as was the accompanying sauce.Otherwise, the location itself seems underwhelming. The inside is clean and lightly decorated, but its definitely more a place Id take out from than sit down for a meal. Overall, I will definitely be ordering from China Garden again, and it has solidified itself as a reliable candidate for ordering lunches at work for me and my coworkers.

2022-04-08The food is awesome! My favorite is the singapore mei fun, I heard a lot of people like the General Tso’s Chicken when I trued it out it is the best one so far! Great device and very fast.

2020-02-18This restaurant was clean on the inside and had some seating if you wanted to eat there. The female at the cash register was very friendly. I chose to take my food home, and waited maybe 5 minutes for my order to be ready; it was really fast. I enjoyed the general tsos chicken, the chicken was plump and there was plenty of sauce. The combination platters come with fried rice according to the menu, but the rice was different than most other chinese restaurants, it wasnt bad, just different. See my pictures for more detail.

2022-07-10They have the best house fried rice and chicken wings combo in the Gainesville, Winder, Braselton area.Other places have smaller wings or their fried rice isnt as flavorful. Not to mention that the portion size at China Garden is worth the price.Their egg drop soupd is not as starchy as other Chinese restaurants in the area as well.

2022-01-24Came back to reiterate how horrible this food was. Oh my....Bad. Very bad. Sesame chicken was gooey, limp. No crunch. Beef Mei Fun had vermicelli, not flat noodles. It was okay. Szechuan beef was floppy boiled beef. Very bad flavor. Fried rice was okay. Do not recommend. Bleh.

2022-04-08It had the best general tso’s chicken Loved it I totally recommend to try it out my second most favorite was the Singapore mei fun it was the 2nd best, It has friendly cashiers and nice view.
