So I dropped my vehicle off on 6/28/2022 for my service appointment. First they showed I didn’t have appointment at all and I had verification of it. I also said I needed a loaner while I booked it and never had one for me. Then the service adviser Connor says he will do something and he does t follow through at all. My items were under warranty and they had my truck for 3 days and didn’t do any work but charged me $245 for diagnostic fee which I shouldn’t have to pay being it’s under warranty and they didn’t do any work I told that it would be done. I also told Connor to order the parts and he never did. The service department is horrible. I was told they only have one diesel mechanic as well. That’s not my problem at all. Hire more help and stop over booking your service department. The manager was no help either.
His name may be Chevy, but he will sell you a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, or whatever else they have on the lot! Chevy and the rest of staff were friendly, down to earth, and easy to work with. We got a great deal on our truck, and we appreciate the hospitality shown us during and after the sale. I can confidently say we trust the integrity of this group and would not hesitate to work with them again. Thanks Chevy!
Mike was an incredible salesman. Nice and kind person and I wish him and his family the best. The rest of the management and financial staff at this location are horrible. They treat you like garbage and a theif! NOT LIKE A CUSTOMER! I am a loyal dodge buyer, but I would avoid this dealership at all costs. Especially the manager Derek!
Made an appointment to have trailer hitch lights looked at, the back right hasnt worked since I have had the Jeep, so far so good its still under warranty. Asked for a shuttle when I made the appointment and was told it would be no problem. Waited 2 hours for the shuttle then the director for the service department (Darrell) told the customer service representative that was helping (Paul, I think it was) me that they werent going to be able to provide a shuttle because I lived too far away (13 miles/~20 minutes). Dont know what the new management/leadership is doing but it is wrong. I have been there before and the service was great. I will probably go back only because I need an oil change and it has already been paid for but I am left with a very sour experience this time. Will try to avoid them if I can.UPDATE:The service department director called me after I got home and he was very apologetic for the experience (the same one that said no in the first place to the shuttle, I was still upset but heard him out). He explained that he was new to the group and was going off of information he knew from a previous location he worked at as their policy was 10 miles for shuttles not 15 which is this dealerships policy. I also received a message from Jim Mangano to give him a call, I needed some time to cool down yesterday so I called him this morning and waiting to hear back.UPDATE 2:Went back to the dealership to have the issue looked at again, this time I had a ride already lined up. The technicians were just as nice as they were in the past and it was a pleasure talking with them. I do believe that having a bad day or not all the information to make informed decisions does happen. I am upgrading this review to a 3 star. Jim Mangano never returned my phone call so I dont know what his thoughts were about the first experience were but I did talk to Darrell directly and am satisfied with this last visit.
I have bought 6 cars and trucks from this company. 99% of the time this company has always been a company I could depend on, there was no need to write something on a piece of paper, because if someone here said it, it was done. I can give a great example of that time. I bought a challenger, popped the tire not 20 mins of owning it. They replaced it without questions.Today, I did have a negative experience, but after speaking to the right person a resolve came to be. I hate that its often easy in a moment of anger or frustration that what you post can be used as a negative impact towards a company, when in reality it wasnt the company its self, I am upset with. Its simply one employee, and trickle down effect can leave the impression its the company as a whole.in the end, my truck will be repaired, and the matter will be resolved. This is a good company, but like all companies they do have bad seeds and they are removed quickly. Step One of Savannah has always been a company that I could trust to treat my father, my friends and coworkers right. I never desired to cause harm, but to bring light to my issue at hand and the frustrations lately with a repair my truck needs. My truck goes into them tomorrow, and they already know what to do to fix it. At the end of the day, Step one, stepped up and reminded me of what I have always known this company to be and why I continue to do business with them. If you are seeking a new car this is the place to come. I promise you, they will treat you fairly.
Walked in on 30apr2022 and at first just stood in the middle of the showroom floor and all the sales man looked at me and passed up a potential sale. Finally I talked to one I can’t remember his name but he found the keys to a jeep renegade that we had found online but had no clue where the vehicle was. I ended up finding it on the lot with a bad battery. So we go eat lunch and come back while they was supposed to be charging/replacing it he battery depending on if it was bad or not. When we came back and hour later the vehicle had not been touched. My wife asked who wants to make a deal and we got to deal with Dee. She was absolutely amazing to work with. However the service report we received from dodge showed that they done an alignment and tire rotation. The car fax showed I n February it had a balance, rotation, and alignment done by dodge.3 days later driving down I95 10 mins from the dealership tire blows and to find out that all the lug nuts have been stripped and had to tow the vehicle back to the dealership. April 30 2022 spent 9 hours at the dealership. May 3 2022 already been here for nearly 2 hours and counting to fix a problem they made in the first place.
UPDATE: In regards to the dealerships response, I am talking with Chrysler as I am typing this review and it was never closed. They never got in contact with you and still confirm that you blocked their representatives number. They will be reaching out again soon. I feel that this statement, as well as a majority of the dealerships response, is untrue. Just don’t use this dealership, go to any other dealership or skip the dealership entirely and you will save yourself a major headache.Bought a car here one month ago and will never buy from a dealership again. I felt the salesman lied to me about the features included with the car, manager(Jim) would not return phone calls after leaving voicemail after voicemail and constantly calling to try and remedy the situation. So next I call Step One Automotive and same thing, no one will return a phone call to try and fix the issue. Filled out on emailed survey and finally got a call back from an assistant manager maybe, he admitted there could be some fault and said they would look into terminating the salesman if they found him at fault but could(would) not do anything to help me. I could live with the car or trade it back in but I would lose money… Next I called Chrysler(Stellantis). The Chrysler rep was very nice and agreed that this was terrible business practice, she offered to call and speak to the dealer. After she tried multiple times the dealership blocked her number. The Chrysler dealership blocked the Chrysler representatives number… long story short this dealership is privately owned. They seemingly don’t have to listen to Chrysler. I hope you don’t have issues when buying a car but just know that at this place, if you have an issue the dealership will not help you or even communicate with you about the issue, you can try calling their higher offices but they won’t pick up either. There are plenty of other dealerships, just don’t use this one.Would love to update this review to a better one but that would take someone at the dealership actually returning one of my phone calls.
I got an oil change and my tires rotated. When they removed the wind deflector under my oil pan. They didnt put back the two tap in tabs so it was making a rattling noise. They dealship said it wasnt there fault and they dont make mistakes like that. They refused to fix it. Ill never come back here for service it was 1 time and last time. They wont own up to there mistakes and blame you.
Last year I purchased 5 vehicles from this dealership totaling over $200k. One of the vehicles I was sold didn’t have a spare key. I asked my sales rep, I believe her name was Jessica, to order one for free being that I purchased 5 vehicles. She basically said no by saying “we can order one for you using our discount plan.”I prefer to write my customer review here rather than sending it to their team. I won’t be buying anymore vehicles from this company in the future. Two stars goes solely to the Service department.
I recently was in your service center. Connor Ware was our service advisor, he was knowledgeable and helpful in what service was needed for my vehicle. It was nice to see a young man actually take the time to listen to our concerns. I would recommend this service center and Connor Ware.
Husband bought a new Jeep Compass here, hes had a horrible experience since hes been with them. He has received a call from a gentleman but the guy was very nonchalant. This is part of his previous review:Sales person (Yaritza) A+ very helpful and always up to assist in anything.Finance lady A+(forgot her name)Service area, if I could give them a negative rating I would. Took my car 3 times. Uconnect, screen fix x2The last time, i recorded videos and even showing PROOF they couldnt fo anything because the little plug in error machine wasnt showing anything. They sent me home with instructions to download updates because they cant do it at the dealership. So, now we do their jobs in our houses.I have PROOF, videos of the screen not working, the compassion just going crazy and pictures of the screen messages and still, dont want to do anything to help because they cant replicate the issue at the dealership.Oh, and let me say that this is 2 months from the purchase of a 2022 Jeep Compass.I Regret this change o brands i Couldve stayed with Kia.
I just had an excellent car buying experience here. I found myself disbelieving how direct, easy, simple the whole process was, from start to finish. I kept waiting for the experience to sour, surely something would go south...but it never did! I got a great deal on a new Cherokee 4x4, a fair offer on my trade, met a great sales person Gia, and honestly, my wife and I really just had a nice afternoon. Thank you Gia and CDJR North Savannah.
Will NOT return for Service at this dealership!!! I had taken my truck to them 3 different times to diagnose a noise you can hear the minute you start the engine ( a known issue with RAM Trucks and exhaust manifold bolts) covered under warranty. On multiple occasions they refused to do the work as they couldnt reproduce the noise. Took it to a different dealership and was fixed the first time I visited the other dealership. Worst CDJR service department, will never return to this place for anything!
Jake & TJ were super helpful in assisting me with my trade-in and car purchase. Customer Service was on point, and I never felt pressured to move forward. It was my second car purchase at the Chatham Parkway location, and If I need to buy a car in the future, I will make sure to return to this location.
Purchased a new vehicle in feb of 22. it’s now leaking oil and the service dept. from south will not call back to make an appointment for service. we have reached out three times; once by phone, once by text and once by the contact us button on their site. north reached out today bc i left a bad review on the wrong site, so i am correcting it under their site to 5 stars as they reached out and are making this right when it isn’t their mistake. thank you!
Where do I begin honestly this place doesn’t deserve the one star I gave them. I wish I had looked at the reviews before going to visit this dealership. They only care about sales not what’s in the best interest of the customer. I was sold a suv without it being there and I was told by Devon the salesman that they had to bring the truck from the other dealership. So we left and came back a couple of hours later only to be told that the truck was needing to be detailed and it will be a little while longer. We waited until the dealership was closing still no truck. I was then given a loaner to drive until Monday. Monday comes and we go back to the dealership only to be told that the truck wasn’t ready and that someone could bring the truck to me later that day. Long story short this went on for about a week of me calling with no answer on when the truck would be ready. I felt they were covering up something but everyone kept giving me the run around. These people have no compassion for their customers at all and was very rude with the whole situation. I really wished I had stayed with Nissan. Lesson learned and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. By the way this happened at the South location and I found out that Salesman is no longer working there after he sold me that truck.
I purchased a vehicle 5 months ago and within 2 months I was having issues with the a/c and needed $1300 worth of repairs. I purchased a warranty that was useless. I was not sold GAP for my financed vehicle and was lied to by the manager that it was optional. The vehicle is now overheating and I cannot afford to get it repaired as well as care did by family. So thank you for the friendly sales experience but they do but stand what they sale in my instance. So I guess I am out by deductible and my repairs
Easy and got a decent price, I will redo this in a couple months just purchased today. Dont thank me yet, driving home I had it stall on me in traffic 6 different times... and a few other issues arose. I will readjust after tomorrow when I take it back to see what theyll do.
I dont normally do reviews, but I have to recommend CDJR of North Savannah and specifically Connor and the service advising staff. We werent sure how long Connor has been working here but he knows exactly what hes doing and unlike other dealers we have been to before, he was attentive, knowledgeable and a good listener.
I traveled around Savannah dealerships and spoke with several different sales specialists. I made a stop at the Jeep Dealership and stood around for a minute unsure of whom to speak to when Roy Robison walked over and offered assistance. He was very helpful and insightful knowledge of Jeeps and helped me to decide on the type of vehicle I was looking for, by far the best sales specialist that I found in Savannah. He was alsp available to help me over the phone and via text on several occasions as well. If youre in the market for a vehicle I would highly suggest you ask for Roy Robison to help give you some insight into what may be the vehicle youre searching for.
Thank you for helping me select my jeep wranglerWorking with Ishmael was a wonderful experience. He was very patient, knowledgeable and helped us through the buying process. We definetly would recommend going to. Chrysler,Dodge Jeep Ram of North Savannah to purchase your next vechile. Customer service was outstanding.
Our experience with the service department has by far been the worst experience. Our service writer, Connor, was awful. He constantly told us incorrect information, he only called once every two weeks if we were lucky with an update (our truck was there for almost two months), he constantly made promises he didnt keep, constantly forgot to do things/asked us the same questions three or four times, and was awful to my wife but tried to act like buddies when I was there. The work that was done by the tech was sloppy and I ended up fixing quite a few things after bringing it back two more times, only to be laughed at/told I was wrong (parking brake never hooked up, hose clamp not on correctly, body clips not lined up, leaking power steering fluid, low on coolant and power steering fluid). Connor is always right though, and the customer is always wrong. He is going to lose every single customer he talks to in that service department. I guess when your Dad works at the same dealership though, nobody cares about the customer. Stay away unless you want an awful experience and sloppy work that you end up having to fix yourself.2021 Ram 2500, only 27,000 miles.
DO NOT BRING YOUR JEEP HERE TO RECEIVE MAINTENANCE. They will absolutely rip you off. They charged me 900$ for parts that didn’t fit, as well as the restocking fee for them returning the parts back to Jeep. Extremely unprofessional as it was their mistake, and they still charged me after discussing this in a civil manner. Then the maintenance manager was the rudest lady I’ve ever encountered when she came out to put even more gas in the flame. DO NOT COME HERE!! Zero stars if I could.
Waiting 2 hours for an oil change is a bit much but I agreed to wait. Unfortunately my car has been done for 30 minutes and I’m still waiting. Been here since 10:30 What’s the hold up people? P.S. I really think that they should use gloves when returning vehicle so there’s not oil all over the steering wheel and all over the door handle.
I contacted them because I was interested in buying a new vehicle. They offered me $4,000 less than my KBB trade in price of $28,000 but I thought Id run the numbers anyway. After we came up with some numbers, I wasnt happy so I decided to walk. In addition to the unsatisfactory numbers, they treated me like I wasnt worth their time so instead: I found myself at JC Lewis Ford in Hinesville. JC Lewis offered me $1,000 MORE than my KBB trade in AND the sales rep, Chad Durden, went out of his way to try to make me satisfied. Ive been working with him since. Also, since I walked away from Step One, theyve called me twice a day (at minimum) sometimes letting it ring like twice and then calling back again and hanging up. This behavior is something typically associated with shady bill collectors not a car dealer. Shop around people, Step One aint it.
Took my sons 2013 Jeep that he’s had for over 2 months in for an oil change. Get it home and noticed that everyday since there’s more and more oil in the driveway. Take it back a week later and they tell us that 2 valve covers and a crack seal need to be replaced which will cost $1200. When the Jeep was picked up after the oil change none of this was mentioned. When questioned about it, the employee said the the “Express Technician” isn’t trained to look for those type of things. If there is an oil leak it would be very visible. WHAT?!?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! OAN, we have gotten texts with offers since the day of the oil change to trade it in!!!!!🤔
Worst service ever. 07:00 appointment made no technician there to change my oil. Sat there 45 minutes and they never moved my truck. Asked when mechanic would get to oil change and they were trying to figure out where the mechanic was…..not at work yet! Never will use again. Would rather pay for oil change than go back and use the three free I had left
After searching for a long time i found the perfect truck here at Crystler dodge Jeep ram of north Savannah , I was very unsettled with the first sales guy that I dealt with however after getting help from my new sales girl Brooke I am so pleased with the customer service she provided me . She went over every question I had , and provided me with awesome customer service! I would send any of my friends to her . She deserves a 10/10 star but that wasn’t an option. If it was she would have it from me.
Typical car dealership. Your trade isn’t is worth nothing while their used car is super valuable. Not even close to working a deal and they don’t seem overly interested in your business. Had music playing so loud in the show room that you couldn’t communicate. Look elsewhere!!!
My experience today was the worst! Mr. Connor/2984. Mr. Connor was very unprofessional. At the very beginning of service I advised Mr. Connor the service that I was expecting. Mr. Connor even verified the information with me twice. At the end of the service he tried to fast talk me because he failed to provide the service that was requested. Instead of advising me of the change in service he continued on without notifying me. At the end he then proceeded to tell me that I did not know how to communicate and that he knows for a fact that he was right and I was wrong. This was an horrible after work experience. I pray that the company register him for customer service classes because this is not acceptable. Mr. Connor language did change once my husband asked for clarification. As a woman I feel very disrepected. I would not recommend any women to talk to Mr. Connor, I would hate for you to have a negative experience. Always remember to be kind. God is real.
Really nice dealership big and clean with plenty of inventory. I flew down from Chicago to pick up a fantastically priced Ram Power Wagon. I searched the entire country for the right truck and this place won my business. Everyone was extremely nice. Do yourself a favor and ask for Cody would definitely buy another vehicle from here again. In fact, when I’m ready, this will be the first place I look. Also the off road testing coarse is really impressive.
Awesome experience working with Ishmael! He worked very hard to get my husband and I a great deal. While waiting he gave us a tour of the dealership. We were able to meet other staff that could help us. If you’re headed for a new car ask for Ishmael! Thank you Step One Auto!
Got an oil change after work on a Friday night. I purchased a maintenance package when I bought the truck....it was worth it. I arrived about 4:20PM. I left about 5:45pm. For all of the services received you just cant beat it. The people at this dealership are so laid back. I will continue all of my automotive business here as long as I live in this area.
My experience was horrible. First of all the salesman started the sales event off with a lie. The car that I test drove had problems and he really didnt seem to care. The female Brooke was rude when I expressed to her that the salesman was horrible. Look you dont have to lie to me to sell me a car. Once I figure out that you are with the bull its pretty much over. I will never visit that dealership again. Also when I asked for the GM one employee told me that he was a part time employee and he didnt know who was the GM of the dealership. Wow!
I had warranty work and routine service done and was very happy with the results and the interaction with Fatima and Alice. When I picked up the car it ran great but was also detailed. I always check the car out after service and all the fluids were topped off and the tire pressures were correct. Great job
This dealership sent out a scratch off in the mail. I scratched it off and it said I won a jetski or a $7,000 visa gift card, I was thrilled! Called the number on the scratch off & the woman said I was a confirmed winner and all I had to do was go to the dealership to claim prize, no purchase or trade in necessary. I get to the dealership, even take time off work to go, and it turns out its a SCAM! Just a ploy to get you in the door. They sent a scratch off to 50,000 people. No one was actually a winner of any of the items on the scratch off. And of course I had to listen to the whole sales pitch before finding this out. Very shady. This is not how you get long term customers. This whole scam puts a bad taste in peoples mouths. I would never come to this dealership to buy a car or even consider them for service on a vehicle after this. They SHOULDVE offered $5,000 off any of their in stock vehicles to the first 5/10 people or something actually reasonable and TRUE if they really wanted to earn some long term customers.
Chef had the best customer service and was very helpful when financing my first vehicle! She was not pushy and let us make our own decisions and reassured us with every question or concern we had, she was also even helpful with my 5 year old son, getting him snacks and coloring sheets so he wouldnt be bored sitting! Thank you chef for helping us find our new car and being so helpful and attentive! She also stayed late to make sure we finalized everything we needed with her every step of the way!
My time here was well spent. GUS was awesome he was clear, consistent and upfront about every detail. Customer service was above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman. I will definitely be returning when it’s time for an upgrade.Fast forward to 3 months later the title department is complete garbage I purchased my car in oct. They didn’t process my title info until November and didn’t send it to the Registration off until Dec after 2 extensions they finally got every fixed jan 12 keep in mind I missed 4 days of work since I could not drive my car and on top of that had TO REACH OUT TO THEM ABOUT MY REGISTRATION WHICH IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. Will not be returning worst experience ever. Didn’t even get an apology for the huge inconvenience or loss of wages.
From the time I stepped into the dealership, until I left in my new vehicle, it was a pleasant buying experience. Mr Gus Martin met me with a huge smile and welcomed me as if hed known me for quite some time. He never treated me like stranger. He was very kind, respectable and very informative. This team worked to make experience easy and pleasant. They were honest and up front with everything. They all treated me like family. Very encouraging and curtious. I cant say thank you enough. So, if youre in the market for a new vehicle, try North Savannah Dodge. You wont be disappointed.
DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THEM!!!!!! When I went to check my factory warranty two years ago, they refused to tell me how much/ long the warranty left. They fooled me to buy a useless third party extended warranty for $3200!!!! And that caused me having two warranty on my car about 6 months overlapped!!!! And now, I have to purchase another factory warranty for another $4000 so I can have most part covered!!!! And I can’t get any refund on that third party warranty that has not been helping at all!!!! That guy was rude and careless!!!!! Other staff were nice, just that elder warranty guy, unbelievable, speechless 🤬
I was selling an older car so I thought I would try TrueCar and see what happened. CDJR of North Savannah made an offer. I will say I was doubtful that this would work. Well, I was in for a pleasant surprise. Not important to the story but the dealership is beautiful. Anyhow, I was met by Abraham who was very friendly. We went out to the car and he asked questions and took pics. Abraham was a complete pleasure to deal with. He was personable and easy to talk with.He plugged a bunch of info into the computer and this where I thought, “I drove an hour and am about to get low-balled.”Not the case. Abraham offered a very fair price for my vehicle and the entire process was less than an hour. I am very impressed with CDJR of N Savannah. And a special shout out to Abraham who was awesome to deal with.
Not happy at all right now! December had oil change done my car started leaking oil in January. Took it in they told us the screw broke and damaged the pan and everything needs to be replaced, charged us $1200 for something they messed up! I do not know much about cars but that screw usually does not just break. Then 2 weeks ago drove 30 miles one way to get a oil change, they do not do appointments Saturday. Could not get me in, due to being to busy. Went back last weekend to get one waited 4 hours on a oil change. Husband went to get his car serviced today we made the appointment little over a week ago just to be told they do NOT service vehicles over 10 years anymore. Somebody could have called and let us know before he drives 60 miles round trip!!! He then waited on a oil change and left due to them being backed up! He had a appointment for his car to get looked at and a oil change, and waited over 1 hour and his car did not move! We had great service with them until the last 9 month!
This dealership is a complete rip off. I went to check out a car listed for 33k . Then they added all of their bogus fees to the car. Making the car come out to 43k out the door. This is the reason so many people are upside down on these auto loans.I would never do business with these people !!!!
Will caution everyone I come in contact with to stay away from this dealership. Service was normal/average until the point of sale. Charges for things that were to be included in the total price of the vehicle, were added in after the agreement. $1894Perma Plate to be specific. The finance department used rebates to mask the actual cost of the vehicle. They never applied the rebates that were available at the time. Beyond that, you get treated like youre wasting their time. The night of the sale, I discovered a small cut on one of the seats. After two days of unanswered phone calls, or retuned voicemails I drove the 45 minutes to get it taken care of. The repairs were completed, but looked terrible. They didnt bother to let me know they finished the work. I had to go back and ask. Through the vehicles maintenance app, I realized they had put over a hundred miles on the vehicle. The sales manager assured me that he had the keys the whole time. A month later, Im still waiting for the new seat cover I was promised (for damages they caused). The company used to finance has yet to reach out to me a month later. Trying to get in contact the finance department at the dealership to get some kind of info other than the finance companys name. Ive left 6 voicemails and multiple other calls, over a roughly two week period.
Chef, was such a blessing the day I walked into the dealership. She worked hard to get me the truck I wanted, she was courteous, prompt and responsive. Chef took the time to understand my situation, and worked diligently to find a solution. In the end, because of her, we will only buy from this dealership moving forward.
Guss provided Excellent service during my visit. He made buying my new car easy and comfortable. He asked specific questions to ensure my wants in the process were addressed and taken care of. I recommend not only the dealership but specifically Guss as you sales service agent. His service IS the reason for the 5 star review.
If I could give a 0, I would. Terrible service, especially from the sales director Jim Mangano. Also, the fact that he was aggressive and in the customer’s face with no mask on during a pandemic. He escalated an already unsatisfactory concern with a vehicle purchase. I will be reporting to BBB, and I have a message to this dealership. It is not enough to just be “nice” during the car purchase. You should strive to have empathy and compassion even if the news you intend to deliver isn’t great. Being combative will always lead to negative reviews. I will ensure to tell all I know not to patronize this dealership and to never to purchase a car from here if quality service after purchase is desired.
I purchase a car from this dealership and I was very please with their professionalism and understanding what I was looking for. The sales rep George McCready did an outstanding job in finding the vehicle is was looking for. Mr. McCready work with me finding the vehicle in my price range. He was not pushy and he listen to what I wanted in the vehicle. He was very hard working in searching the vehicle and understanding in what was important to me. Im recommending this sales person to my friends when searching for a vehicle.
I knew going into a purchase of this gratitude, and this being my first purchase on my own. There would be a lot of unknowns for me, especially if I could get the best deal possible for my circumstances. Being a first time buyer under my name, credit would be an obstacle. This is getting my history of paying on a vehicle started basically. I was nervous going into this I wanted a Dodge Charger R/T and man does North have them! Wow. The staff there are incredibly helpful, truly truly work with you no matter who , or what you do. I was assisted through the whole process by Becca Matherne a step one auto employee. My F8(Green) 2018 Dodge Charger R/T WAS through StepOneAuto. I could tell from the first conversation I had with Becca , that everything she said or did for me was genuinely in my best interest. She impressed the hell out of me , if I’m being honest. She explained everything detail for detail. Believe me , I left that dealership more educated on how The car business works. I want to stress here, how much Becca was the one who made this so easy and safe for me to make this decision.. Thank you so much Becca, you have my support and lifelong friendship. Truly thankful for North Savannah And their whole team. EVERYONE THERE ARE GREAT PEOPLE!
If you get a piece of mail from them, saying you won something trust me is a lie, they want you to go there and convince you to change your car. I think those tricks are evil. My neighbor was already thinking on using the money for his baby. And it was all a scam. Be carefull
Started as a ok dealer but more in depth i got this place is a joke. Fees and fees buying with this dealer. Put a deposit down on truck that needed repairs and and have life changing events go on and informed them I can’t proceed ASAP and Havnt received my deposit back and no one will answer the phone. The truck wasn’t even ready to pick up for several more days. Terrible service and will not return calls.Do yourself a favor and buy else where. Once they seal your deal or you back out your treated like trash 100%. !! AVOID
I just want to start off by saying- I don’t write a lot of reviews, particularly bad ones- but the customer service I experienced while my car was getting serviced at this location was unacceptable. My grand Cherokee was in the shop a total of 18 days. It was dropped off by a tow truck on Friday morning and I was told it would be looked at first thing Monday morning and that my appointment was booked. I then caught my service writer in many lies from that point forward. He never called me with updates-I had to call him. So when he told me Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the first week it would be looked at, he finally admitted on that Thursday that it was just now being looked at. I then caught him lying about if the parts I ordered were in. I talked to a woman that said they were, and then he lied and said they weren’t- I guess to buy more time. He then “went and checked again” and needless to say the parts were there. I tried calling and leaving voicemails for the manager but they never returned my calls. Needless to say I will never be coming back to this location.
Today I had an appointment to buy a vehicle. I got there and they showed me exactly what I wanted. I got approved for a 2019 Dodge Journey. It went so smoothly with no complaints. Thank you Troy for your help. For future purchases I will be coming back here again. Also will be sending people to go to them for purchases.
I contacted NSCDJR via internet and spoke with Victoria Burris. She set an appointment followed up with an email. I had to work late so I set the appointment for 6:30 and walked in the door on the nose. The sales manager passed me off to another sales associate and proceeded to sit behind the sales desk and play with his phone. The new sales associate was lost couldn’t locate the car nor the keys and the sales manager never moved from his perch behind the desk. She finally came over and confessed that she couldn’t find the keys and the car was gone as a loaner or something. I’m new to the area and actually had cash for a purchase but will never darken their door again. I will for sure spread the good word!!
My husband had scheduled an appointment for an oil change for our truck a few days ahead of time, they were unable to give him pricing at the time he called so when I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment I asked them how much it would cost all together for our diesel truck. I was told “around” $400-$450 total. He told me to have a seat as it would take just a little bit longer as the truck needs to sit for a full half hour before they can begin, I said okay no problem as I had an appointment I didn’t think it would take too long anyways. So I’m 9 months pregnant sitting in a tall chair that wasn’t the comfiest with a table ….FOR TWO AND A HALF HOURS! I can’t tell you how many times I had fallen asleep because it was taking so long. I’m sorry but you think you would tell someone upon arrival the estimated wait time because I would have had someone come with to drop it off or made an apt a different day. Just crazy, an elderly lady had walked in and said I better find a comfy seat, they told me the express lane has a TWO HOUR WAIT! I said well apparently it doesn’t make a difference if you have an apt because I’ve been here 2.5 hours. Then they come out and ask me to pay, MY TOTAL WAS OVER 550.00!!!!!!! FOR AN OIL CHANGE! that was priced $100.00 less. I will never be going back to this dealer ship again. RIDICULAS!
Im changing my review because of an unresolved issue with my vehicle. On 08/09/21 the vehicle was shown to me by Jack Hall, the sales professional. We discovered there is a problem with the touch screen which controls the display for the AC, radio, navigation, phone, and other settings. After starting the vehicle, the display went blank. I was ready to end the the showing, but the sales person stated that it was probably something simple, maybe a fuse. I said to him, the only way I would move forward with the purchase would be if the dealership would fix the problem. Jake said he would have to have approval from his boss, the General manager. So he went back inside to speak to the GM, he returned after a few minutes with approval from the GM to get the vehicle problem fixed. To make a long story short, after a number of visits back to the dealership about the issue, today September 2, 2021 my vehicle is still not fixed. I have just been getting the run around.
I had an appointment to test drive a Honda Civic. I was 20 minutes late which the hey said was fine but by the time I got there, they already had the he car loaded up on a truck and had sold it to auction. Complete and utter waste of my time! So they check all inventory and have nothing Im interested in... I still had to go to the desk top give me my keys back as the manager rolled his eyes. HH Honda texted while I was sitting there and they are about to get my money for what I asked. Wont be looking back to this place!
My experience with the used car sales was very good. However, I found out a month later, after the radio went out in the 2018 Ford Escape I purchased, that these people really do care and try to help work things out for their customers. Jim Mangano, Sales Manager, told me he would take care of getting a new radio and installing it for me at no charge. I commend Jim and the dealership for going above and beyond in my bad luck situation.Thank you,Nadia Barker
This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Stephanie the sales person was absolutely outstanding. Not only was she knowledgeable, she had a great sense of humor which I appreciated. I inquired into a vehicle after hours via the internet to ensure it was in stock. The dealership texted me when they first opened the following day that it was in stock and to come on in. Stephanie greeted me, and I explained to her the vehicle I was interested in. She brought the vehicle out and I took it for a test drive. We then went through the process of purchasing the vehicle. Everyone involved from the dealership was super pleasant, straight forward. No games or high pressure sales like some dealerships. I cannot recommend Stephanie and the dealership enough.
My experience is why people, and soon to be myself included, are selling and buying cars online.I went in with a clear idea of what I want and needed, with my family in tow. In the parking lot, as soon as I stepped out of my car, I made it less than 3 steps before a salesperson was on me, taking aggressive tactics to get me to sell my current Kia (not what I was interested in) and making outright false claims about its safety compared to Jeeps. When I tried to inquire about promo I had heard about, I didnt get a straight answer - even after 15 mins of trying. My infant was getting fussy, so I said I simply didnt have a lot of time to not get some clear responses. At which point the salesperson said come on man, everyone here has a baby I should have walked out right then. I did so 5 minutes later.Save yourself the hassle and harassment and go elsewhere.
Great dealer and great experience! Daniel White was our sales rep and he is awesome. The dealership has a nice selection of used cars which is what we were looking for. We were able to find the perfect fit for our daughter and they really bent over backwards to get it within our budget. Also, they took care of some after-sell issues which solidified them as a very reputable and honest dealer in my eyes. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car. They have earned my loyalty!
I do not recommend. The salesman did not know what inventory was on the lot. They failed to pay off my trade in within a timely manner. I called for days and no one ever called me back. I purchased this vehicle a month and a half ago and I have still not received the tag or the spare key. I have not heard from anyone concerning the issues but I received a text asking me to purchase a new vehicle with them. Its almost like they never knew I was there.
Currently on my second call, having waited 40 minutes to find paperwork to tell me about my jeeps repairs. I dropped it off 6 days ago to get 2 keys made and replace door handles on 2 doors. 40 minutes for multiple people to track down paperwork is not what I call efficient, or good customer service. Still waiting.......Wonder if people knew about the service center if they would want to buy from here.Update 43 minutes to get someone new who said parts were back ordered, I asked for any updates now waiting again. So it begins.
After 4 years, tried this place again for my Dodge services. They failed to do anything requested and instead did the opposite.Due to weather changing, tires are over inflated, requested tires to be adjusted to proper pressure, instead they inflated my car tires to 40 psi. 41 is max limit on my tires, so they risked my life.Requested no tire rotation as I just had this done elsewhere. They randomly placed my tires on my car, crossing my single direction tires that Ill now have to take the time to go elsewhere and move my tires around, again.Requested an oil change but not too touch my washer fluid. They tell me they didnt touch any fluids and would be another hour (after taking 3 hours to not do what was paid for).Requested no sticker be placed on my windshield. Yep, they ruined my tint trying to take it back off.And they wonder why Id rather get my Dodge serviced at Honda and purchased all 3 of my Dodges out of state and will continue to do so. Very bad service.
Went in for one of the scratch-off mailer gimmick because you never know. Was a decent experience. Salespeople were a bit pushy but thats their job. EXCEPT, I was promised they wouldnt run my credit because I dont want unnecessary inquiries when I knew I wasnt there to purchase and well they lied. When I called to ask them to fix it, the manager was only willing to offer to have the rep call me back, not to call the credit agency. This is a big deal to me and they have now lost my business forever. Owned nothing but Dodge and Jeeps for the last 4 vehicles. Guess I am a Chevy man now.
Had a very negative experience here as they call it.They were asked to check a fuse or relay for a no start issue and instead spent 3 hours diagnosing then telling me my vehicle needed a conversion for another engine!? This conversion was verified by FCA to be inaccurate yet this dealer still charged me a $340+ diagnostic fee. This recommended conversion was suggested by the ase certified, 30 year experience, lead diesel tech. Not surprised though as theyve claimed no liability of wrongdoing. Dear Owner, Melissa read my email multiple times and never responded. Whats your next suggestion since all I was offered was a partial payoff of a misdiagnosis charge to remove a Google review?
I was recently in the Savannah area on vacation from North Louisiana towing my travel trailer with my 2019 RAM 1500. Thursday 6/10/21 I started hearing a strange noise coming from the rear drivers side wheel. Being so far from home and not wanting to risk further damage to my truck while towing my trailer, I wanted to take it to a dealer to have it looked at before I hit the road. I stopped in at 4:00 in the afternoon and they were extremely busy. They could have easily blown me off and told me to make an appointment and come back another day. However, Alice (Service Manager) listened to my concern and told one of the service advisors to go grab a tech from the shop floor and have them ride with me. We were gone for 10 minutes or so and he got down under the truck and inspected it real good and assured me it was safe to drive.I just want to say thank you to Alice and her staff for taking care of me that day. Not knowing me from Adam and I wasnt even their customer. They sure made me feel like my concern mattered to them and I would highly recommend this dealership.
I went wanting to trade in my 2018 Sentra for something bigger and better… Ishmel greeted me as soon as I got out of my car and helped me figure out what was best for me..Great customer service! Awesome reassurance! Ask for Ishmel! He will make sure you are taken care of! Safe to say I walked out with a new car 🤩
Walking in, I was just going to see if I could look for a car that would fit my budget since my wife and are a finally starting a family. Looking around, it didn’t take long till Jacob came to us with a warm welcome. He was willing to help me out with finding a car that fit my budget and was really helpful with giving me different options. By the end of it, he actually found me the car of my dreams within the price I was hoping for. Walked out shaking his hand, happy to seal the deal. Look for Jacob Hall, great man, friendly and super professional.
Took my Truck in to get fixed, super easy to get an appt, they were all very courteous inside!Cody was the service writer and is a phenomenal asset to the team! The repair was an entire day early, so i got the truck back in time to take the boat over the weekend. The dealer pricing is expensive, but, you get what you pay for, and i have peace of mind knowing that they stand behind their work.Would absolutely recommend them, but hopefully i dont have to go back any time soon lol.
If you have a vehicle warranty You better start it because theyre not going to.They dont like to give you information on your vehicle. I never had such just poor service in my lifeI had a warranty on my vehicle which covered the engine but since nobody bothered to put it through I had to pay out of pocket. They didnt care eather. I will never go back there.
Called this particular dealership to inquire about a remote key fob for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Specifically if they could program it & if I needed an appointment to get this done. The girl said they could but I would have to buy it from them because they dont program after market key fobs. I tried telling her that it was an OEM part but she said that it was their policy. So I asked how much it would cost from them so she transferred me to the parts department & that guy said he needed the last 8 digits of my Jeeps VIN. So I gave that to him, he put me on hold for a few minutes, when he came back on the line he said he could get one tomorrow (for $127 dollars, which was about $50 dollars more than the one I can get at autozone) but because my Jeep was more than 10 years old I would have to take it some where else to get the key fob programmed...I was like say what???It want computing or making sense. So for all the folks out there driving a Jeep/ Dodge thats more than 10 years old dont bother trying to get it serviced or repaired at Step One CDJ North Savannah because they apparently have so much business that they can choose not to work on a vehicle thats more than 10 years old.BTW Springfield CDJ were very friendly and said that they most certainly could program my after market key fob. They also said that they had never heard of a dealership telling a paying customer anything like what Step One CDJ North Savannah told me.So my advice would be to find a different dealership, my wife and I have been talking about buying a new Jeep & if we do it wont be from this particular dealership.
I will never go back to get repairs. They told me they ordered the parts then a week later I called to get a update and they said they didn’t get the parts yet bc they never ordered the parts until a week later. (I had the tracking info) and then was given 4 different dates for when it would be done and each time it fell through. They told me the total price on the phone then when I went to go pick my vehicle up they charged me almost $300 more then what they said on the phone and they definitely don’t seem to care to get stuff done. And will lie about there own wrong doing.
Bought my second vehicle from the South Savannah location in the last year and both experiences were amazing! Austin was an awesome sales rep and very helpful and knowledgeable. Very straightforward and open about everything. Will buy all my cars in the future from them! Also Kelly in Finance was super helpful and nice and honest! Grant the manager was also awesome! Just a great place with great people and cars! Go here! Buy here!
Sandra Alford and Gus Martin were very great. They completely understand what I was asking for and did not try to push me into anything that I didn’t want. I couldn’t make the purchase today, but the experience was outstanding. Any and everybody should come see them. They are great.
I can honestly say this was one of my most delightful experiences purchasing a vehicle. I called and spoke to them about a used vehicle making sure it was there, discussed price and money for a trade in and informed them that I would not be able to make it until the next day because I lived out of town. Next day when I got to the dealership I was greeted by Jheyson, I told him what I discussed with a salesperson the day before. There was no pressure and the exact details of what I agreed to the previous day were meet to the letter. Everyone I spoke to in the dealership was friendly and I would recommend anyone in the market for a vehicle give this dealership a try.
For our salesperson, She gets 10 STARS. She was very sweet and knowledgeable and never tried to jank us around and very professional! The one star is for 2 reasons! They advertise the car on carfax for 23000 but had the price jacked up to 27000 when it was in an accident (which was failed to be mentioned) but I looked passed it because I did my research on carfax prior to coming in and wasn’t bad. The second reason they get 1 star the finance/sale manager claimed that my dads credit score was 616 when it was actually at 660! They had the interest at 17 percent. My dad and husband was already approved at 13 percent with navy federal but wanted to see if they could get something lower. Had the nerve to bring out a piece paper to further push the idea of my dads credit score was much lower. I’m writing this review now because after a week in a half my dad recieved his denial/approval letter in the mail stating that in fact his credit score was at 662. I don’t know if they were playing games or trying to pull extra money or what but we definitely won’t be going back 🥴
Horrible service. Dont recommend having your vechile serviced at this facility. Wont do all the services you request to be done with your appointment and parts not in stock. Will cancel your appointment last minute and tell you that they dont have another appointment available for several weeks. Brianna is definitely not friendly. Horrible experience. Will be going back to the Jeep dealership I used to go to even if the distance is double.
Unfortunately, they get a single star for being crafty enough to get me into the dealership. If you can trust these people enough to purchase solely online, you might do ok. I made an appointment online which included a chat session, emails, and texts. We only discussed the auto I was interested in. Everything was set up to walk in at the appointed time, see the car, and make the purchase. I was given the name of a salesperson to see. Upon arrival, we were handed off to 2 other people, made to wait while this sales person waited on other people, ran back and forth in the dealership to “check something”, and all the while, several sales reps standing around watching. All to find out the auto we went to see was not on the lot yet. When I expressed my disappointment over how we were being treated (certainly not waited on) sales person began complaining about how it was not her fault and somehow decided to turn the blame on me! Maybe it was the blame shifting or the rolling of the eyes that made me run for my life, but the absolute sarcasm was the nail in the coffin. What a terrible experience. There are too many dealers in Savannah and the surrounding area to put up with this type of incompetence. Don’t waste your money or your time.
This dealer constantly over books appointments. I had an 8:30 AM appointment for tire rotation and alignment and was told that it would take an hour. When I arrived I was told it was going to be hours before they could get my car in for service, and as usual, no loaner cars. Other customers were upset as well but this dealership simply does not care. We will never use this dealership again, nor will be purchase another substandard Chrysler product in the future.
Rude service folks. When I walked I was greeted with a muffled sounding woman. I explained I couldnt hear her, she pulled down her mask and raised her voice. When I spoke to the service writer I was told it would take 3hrs to fix a computer software update, my phone takes 10min, I said that didnt sound right, she said oh well thats the way it is. Ill never buy a car or use this dealership ever.
Hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had! We drove up from Florida on a Friday afternoon, close to closing time, to see a truck. We called ahead of time and Justin, the sales manager, got our trade in value, a test drive, and the carfax all pulled within an hour of us calling, he was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. Daniel was the sales person that we worked with at the dealership and we can not rave about him enough! He was made our experience so easy, fun, and stress free. The spare key to the truck we bought was locked up by the time we left Friday night, and Daniel delivered on his word to send it out immediately and it arrived to us 4 days later. Then to top it off he called us to make sure we got it and that we were liking the truck (most sales people could careless about you once you’re out the door). Daniel was the BEST! If you go to this dealer as for him and you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to go back and shop future vehicles with this dealership!
I came to this dealership because they had the car I was looking for. The price of this car was a bit higher than the price of the same car at other places, but I gave them a shot. I test drove the car and had a great experience with the salesperson, Cody, that we worked with. Everything was good until the man looked at my car for the trade in value and until we spoke with the manager about pricing. The trade in specialist quoted me a trade in value of $1,200 for my car (keep in mind I sold that very car on my own for $7,500). He then said he would “get a good deal for me” and raise the trade in price to $3,000. After that, we got more pricing on financing and other fees, this is where it gets worse. The price of the car was listed on their website as $1,000 less than they said and refused to acknowledge that fact. Additionally, they added on OVER $3,000 is fees!!! I get that you have to add tax, tag, and title but I’ve never seen anyone pay more than $200-$600 in fees in addition to the tax and things. So if you are looking to spend an additional $3,000 in fees, go to this dealership. But, if you want to deal with decent and reasonable people, please go literally anywhere else.
Arrived before my scheduled appointment time of 9am and met Morgan. She was very nice and accommodating. Explained the few issues and she asked what time I needed the vehicle back and I said the latest 3:30 and she assured it wouldn’t be a problem and that she would contact me mid day with a diagnosis. The entire day had passed and after multiple attempts of me trying to call, someone finally answered and said it wasn’t finished yet. I was told they would call back and never did. Once again we called the dealership and they finally said there were no issues and that we could come pick it up. 150.00 diagnosis fee later and my vehicle is in the same condition as it was when I left it. I attempted to ask questions and no one seemed to have an answer. All I kept getting was that “you need to speak with your service advisor” which was nowhere to be found. I got no information whatsoever and feel as if I wasted 150.00 on nothing. I would not recommend this dealership for service nor would I come back here. These people have no clue what they are doing here and will just take your money. Go elsewhere.
I gave this dealer one star because of the customer service. The buying experience was not terrible but after agreeing on a price and after signing is where I have an issue. I was just sold a truck with a “perma plate” warranty which I do not want but was just told by the finance guy, too bad, you already signed and I’m not changing it for you. Then proceeded to laugh and say I shouldn’t have bought the vehicle because they weren’t holding a gun to my head. All I wanted was for them to take that warranty off because I don’t need it, and I would’ve been perfect rly happy with the purchase. I tried asking several times what it included and all they kept saying was that every car has that included with the purchase and that there is no way to take it off. But they wouldn’t give me a straight answer as to what it actually was. All it covers is damage from bugs, bird droppings and headlight restoration. So basically a detail. Every time I asked to speak to a General Manager I was given excuses and other employees to talk to.I don’t think I would be making another purchase from this dealer nor recommending it to others because of the way I was treated.
The sales staff was great. However, there was a lack of communication between departments. I kept asking the salesperson if appointments were given for oil changes and was assured they were. When I called for my first oil change I was denied an appointment and told an oil change was done on a first come first serve basis. Then the evaporator went out on my car while vacationing out of state. I had a diagnostic report done to confirm why the air conditioner had gone out. Upon my return I called to schedule an appoinment for the evaporator to be repaired. I was told the diagnostic report I had was invalid and incorrect and that it probably was the condenser. After a heated discussion with the service department manager, I stated that after 40 years of purchasing and owning cars with 20 years being with Dodge/Chrysler this dealers service department was the worst I had ever had experienced. The manager then stated she refused to ever service my car. Having bought a maintenance plan which wa broken with this statement, I called general manager to file a complaint and request a refund. I never had my call returned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this dealership or its sister dealership to anyone.
Went up there just to look and ended up buying within two visits. Jheyson was a big help and very polite. Definitely helped me to make my mind up to purchase from here. He gets five stars. He went out of his way to help me get my pricing where I wanted it and made the whole visit and purchase worth it.I’m rating the dealership four stars for lack of knowledge on the cars previous maintenance history short of the car fax. Luckily the car fax had enough information to make me feel safe in my purchase. However, I would have been more comfortable knowing if work on the car was done professionally or privately due to there being an aftermarket intake and grill inserts.Overall, I would purchase from here again and won’t hesitate to recommend their services to anyone looking.
Cody Zimbro was awesome! I walked in with poor credit and having never bought a car before. He got me into the exact car I wanted and was very honest and straight forward from the start. He worked with me for 3 hours and not once did I feel overwhelmed. He was extremely patient and explained every little detail in depth and didnt leave out, or add in, any fees that I was unaware of or did not understand. Definitely recommend THIS dealership and Cody as a salesman!
Becca was great . I did an on line purchase. I had a lot of questions. But Becca was a really trooper. She answered my questions and help me with the transaction completely. I was very please with the exceptional service and the vehicle was everything I expected. Thank you to everyone that helped with my transaction.
I loved my experience with this dealership, Kristina my salesperson was a jewel, I told her what the situation was and we went for something small and affordable . She got me in a 2021 Compass, I was not expecting that, but she got the deal done. I really appreciated her taking her time to listen and take the high roato make my buying experience a GREAT one!! Thanks Kristina !
Took in the 2021 Power Wagon for an express oil change today. 2.5 hours later i was done. I would assume it took this long as they stated the express lift could not accommodate the weight of the power wagon. If you are in a hurry i wouldnt suggest the express option. Make an appointment to drop your vehicle off and secure other transportation. Express should be in my opinion 45 min or less. Cody Z in service was polite and informative though.
The sales manage is a piece of... Irresponsible with time despite we had our appointment. The reason was somebody was very irresponsible and never comply with their rules. One positive note, the vendor was nice enough and yet, frantic because of management and their co-workers sucking the energy out of the poor kid.
Horrible customer service. Story is too long to share but basically wasted 2 hours and 30 mile trip one way for an oil change. Were from out of town, and we asked questions - but the call center was wrong and they had the cajones to say We should have known better. Wow. Isnt that why we ask questions? Nice impression Savannah. Never again.
I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle here. Not only was my experience a nightmare, due to mistakes made on their behalf, no apologies were ever offered to us after we expressed our extreme dissatisfaction. My parents were assisting me as I was located a hour away to purchase a used Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. The salesman Roy, had spoke with my mom on several occasions, and after we offered to place a deposit on the car so that we may come in and complete the purchase and paperwork a few days later, we were told we did not need to and “it should be fine.” Chris his manager called my mother 30 min before our booked appointment to inform her that the Jeep we were coming to buy had been sold to another dealership. Not only was he extremely rude and unprofessional to her, either him or Roy had been lying to us over the course of the week in regards to our dealings with them. Roy set up the appointment for us to purchase the vehicle on a Wednesday, and Chris stated it was sold the Monday prior. How this happens? I am still unsure. Even better we found all of this out 30 min prior to our appointment, and I had to turn around and drive back to where I am located again, one hour away. It took going to a FORD dealership to successfully buy a Jeep, as well as be treated like a valued customer. I highly suggest looking elsewhere if you are in the market, as this place seems to deceive its customers like in our case.
I had a great experience with the service and parts departments today. Previously at the South Savannah location (Where we bought our Wrangler) I was brushed off by both of these departments several times. On several occasions. I went to North Savannah where the departments treated me great! I had brought up a warranty issue and was immediately assured everything possible was being done. I asked for quotes on parts three separate occasions and the technician got me quotes without making me feel like a pest (Which I definitely was). I was ready to write these dealerships off and forget about the complementary services just to avoid the hassle, but Ill come to this dealership moving forward. Thank you guys for a great experience!
I have to say, this was absolutely the best car shopping experience I have ever had. Mike was AWESOME!!! I had been talking to different dealerships, getting the stupid run around that we are all familiar with, trying to see how stupid you are. I went up there for a certain car for my daughters 16th birthday & Mike had asked who it was for & if there was an occasion. I told him my intentions & he looked up the specific car. He explained that it had already been in an accident & would prefer to show me a couple other options at the same price without the previous damages. I agreed and looked. It started storming & he still went out there to bring the car in, that I chose, so I could check her out. The rain stopped shortly after & then we test drove her. Everything was great & I agreed to run the numbers. He came back in about 30 minutes with the options of 4 different banks, with a breakdown of different down payments & options. He asked me which one I wanted to go with, all reasonable. I told him which one, Signed all the paperwork & was out of there within 2 hours, even dealing with the 1st cars issues & the hurricane that came through for about 30 minutes. Recommending this dealership to ALL that I know. All of the staff there were very nice & talkative, not sales talk, but actual personal communication. They even gave me a huge bow to put on her for my daughters birthday. I will definitely go back.
Financed my car here in Jan. Sales team was great. They got me in my car as fast as possible and I was really grateful for that. I went to the service department and I got my first oil change and had them switch out a flat tire for me a week or so back, and who ever did the oil change forgot to put the coolant reservoir cap back on when they checked the rest of my fluids causing my car almost blow up stranding me in pooler for a few hours. They also forgot to put the tire valve cap back on my new tire. I’ve been trying to get in touch with your service manager for a few weeks to resolve the issue and left multiple messages but for some reason she hasn’t gotten back to me. I hate to leave a bad review but this seems to be the only way I can get a response from y’all. - Devin
The dealership mentioned above sold me a 2018 Corvette with 14,500 miles approximately 45 days ago for $55,000. The car now has 15,000 miles and has been in the shop since the first week of ownership. The dealer described the vehicle as stock with the factory warranty still in tact, being in great mechanical and physical condition. They provided a clear Carfax with two owners. I drove it 4hrs home and noticed issues almost immediately. I took the vehicle to two different Chevrolet dealers in the area to be inspected. Each of them stated the car will not pass inspection, because it does not have catalytic converters, it has been modified from a previous owner so the warranty is not in tact as stated, there is severe transmission issues, electrical issues, and body panel issues. The mechanic doing all the inspections on the vehicle also stated there is a large crack in the vehicles frame and will not pass a state inspection. The dealer has failed to work with me, making this right, and they have recently decided to no longer take my calls. I still do not have a tag and the temporary one expired two weeks ago.
They were not interested in finding what we wanted, only in selling any truck they could get us into so they could make a sale. First thing off the bat the guy listed all the rebates and discounts we lost because we didnt qualify. No one wants to hear that. Tell us what you CAN do instead of laying down all the things we dont qualify for. It was an awful way to conduct business. To add, As we were leaving after only being there 15 minutes we could hear one of the service staff being berated right in front of the show room. It was really unprofessional not discreet nor how anyone should be talked to. Find a different dealership.
Edit: Its now been 6 weeks and they have made NO effort to get us the title were owed. Their little comment below was pointless, as we had obviously already tried contacting the sales manager multiple times. If the sales manager had wanted to help us, the sales manager would have already done so.We paid cash for a car and not only were we not able to walk out of the store with the title, were still waiting for it a month later. Were also still waiting for the 2nd set of keys that were promised us. Multiple attempts (both phone and email) at getting these items have been blown off by both our sales rep and management.
I came into the dealership wanting a new 2500 Ram. I worked with Miss Sammie. She was outstanding! She had the truck brought over from another store, kept us entertained while we waited. She knew exactly what she was talking about. She was honest, sweet, very personable. All around a great experience! I would definitely recommend her to go to! Everyone was very helpful.
Dealership NOT customer oriented. 1star too good. Additionally, saw very poor treatment towards law enforcement. Cashier Dee is argumentative and what seemed as racial or LE discrimination while refusing service. Seemed more interested in talking about nails with other employees, while ignoring customer. NEVER purchase anything from this dealership.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! Unfortunately, I hoped that I would not have to post this, but I now see that sometimes you must shed light on crooked dealerships. I bought a car from this place a month ago under high pressure from a sales manager who gave me some horrible advice. The guy was a complete scam artist and one of the most rude people Ive ever met. Granted, I know their job is to sale cars, but you would think that some businesses have integrity. This place does not. The store manager reached out to me initially to try and help my situation, but she has basically ignored me for two weeks as I have patiently waited for her responses. I now see that was just a tactic to appease me. If you must get a vehicle, please dont make the mistake I did by shopping here. There are some better dealerships that will be honest and respectful of you and your time. My next step with this place is the Better Business Bureau.
I recently had my vehicle serviced at this dealership and they did an excellent job! Joe Nelson was so phenomenal and efficient. They took me in last minute without an appointment which is not common place but he had to move some things around to make it work. I really appreciate this stores level of customer service as it is so uncommon nowadays in car dealerships. Thank you all for the great experience!
The staff at Auto Nation was professional and provided excellent customer service. I had an issue with the vehicle of my choice being sold. But we was able to find another that was the same model but better than my first choice. They are truly about meeting the customer needs. I will definitely be sending referrals their way. I love my vehicle!
Ron Grant is an excellent salesman, I got an awesome vehicle in our budget! After shopping around for two months we had to come back to this location realizing they had too many good deals to pass up. It helped our salesman was so easy to work with and it didn’t take long for him to have us set up in a better vehicle than I expected to be able to afford, highly recommend.
They are just scamming people sending the scratch-off in the mail to everybody, and asking the winner to come down to this dealership and collect the details like drivers license and what car you drive, and handing them $2 gift cardIts a marketing gimmick to make people come down to the dealership
Coming here was amazing and smooth I came here shopping around for a car. Even though they didn’t have it on the lot George mcCready went above and beyond to get the car I wanted to get here as fast as possible. If anyone is looking to buy a car come and talk to him.
I bought a car from this dealership and I got pulled over for my tint being illegal. I have not changed anything since I have gotten my car . I reached out to the dealership to see if they could take the illegal tint off and replace it with correct tint. The sales manger didn’t want to take responsibility for not only selling a car with illegal tint but also correct their mistake. He was rude and tried to make me seem like I was the problem when they sold me the car. I have pictures and paper work showing I haven’t modified the car at all since I purchased it as well. Before you by a car,I highly suggest you ask about everything because they won’t meet their customers needs and definitely won’t take responsibility for their mistakes.
I walked into the dealership and I was greeted by this nice young lady named kristina and she was the best customer service and salesperson I ever dealt with. Usually when people walking to dealerships they are feeling very nervous and jittery she made me feel at home she really made car buying easy as going to the grocery store she was a blessing in disguise today.Honestly she treated me as if I was Bill Gates and answered every question I had from big to small .She is really a blessing to this dealership .
They seemed nice at first, went in not sure what we wanted exactly. By the end of it they offered us a car and pressured me to sign, I talked to a friend and waited, wanted to look into it a little more because we hadnt done any research on this particular car. First they suddenly sold just that minute the car they originally promised. They came up with a second one that was acceptable, but didnt have this one they promised on the lot anyway today, so they told me to take a different one home for the night, theyd keep my trade in on the premises and wed do all the paperwork when I returned. Seemed fine. They were nice but a bit pushy, but thats not totally uncommon in dealerships.Got home, did some research. Researched all over their website and their sister site. Not a single car of the promised make and model matched the price given. None of them. When I finally found it using the numbers and info on the papers they provided, they had marked up the MSRP they had it advertised for amd had me initially agreeing to by about $5000, and about $3000 over their advertised internet price. So essentially they were trying to get an additional $5k for their great deal for their Daddy-ator event. Great deal, right? So these guys bumped up the price considerably simply because I did not go in there knowing exactly what I wanted, counted on them being decent showmen and because they were trying to get me to sign everything before even seeing the exact car, the only saving grace was it wasnt on their current lot and they were about to close that day, as we came in the evening after work.Went back the next day, gave them their car back, told them I would not be finishing any paperwork for any car, got my keys back and took my original car home. Partly because of how the whole situation was handled, partly because after actually being able to put my kid seats in, the car would absolutely not function as promised and was very unsuitable, which was in direct contradiction of what our salesman said. He tried telling me my desires for 3 seats/bench that would comfortable fit 2 car seats and a booster was unreasonable even though that was said to be fine. Plus, my original vehicle did indeed fit that, so no, it was not unreasonable. Then walked away, said he was going to speak to his manager, came back gave me my keys, and walked away again. We left.Shady and very underhanded way of handling things. Absolutely will not ever go near this dealership nor its sister dealership ever again, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.
Was semi consistent at first!Took my car to get an oil change and all went well until they told me they couldnt do a rotation because one of my tires tread was nearly gone. They quoted me a price for the tire and I told them I will look around for a better pricing. I did find the same brand new tire for a bit less at Sav Tire. Then Sav Tire tells me that the inside of said tire is the main issue, its wearing more in the inner side of the tire then outside which means my car needs an alignment bad. This was a few days after leaving this dealership and doing a full inspection on my vehicle. They didnt notice the crucial issue and let me drive out the dealership without warning. This isnt the biggest issue the dealership can have, but its one of mine.. and this made me lose complete trust in that service department and lost a customer. The manager tried to tell me that its because the uneven amount of air in the tires. . . Ok.
I purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Auto Nation in Savannah, GA on September 3, 2016. Auto Nation has 2 locations in Savannah separated as Auto Nation north and south Savannah. I went to the north Savannah location on Chatham Parkway and could not be happier with my experience. It started with the salesman, Robert who was friendly, personable, and honest. He worked with me to find just the right vehicle for me after my first choice wasnt the right fit. From there the finance manager, Michael was outstanding as well. The entire staff is dedicated to providing the best experience possible for their customers. I highly recommend going by and taking a look at the beautiful cars and chatting with the friendly people there if you are considering a new car for yourself.
Do not buy used from them. They will.not return phone calls. They do not care about anything except getting you to sign on the line. They will say anything on the front end of the sale. They will not follow up after the sale. I will be paying for this mistake for the next 5 years.
Went to this dealership bought vehicle on Sept 7th. I have yet to get a tag. They had screwed up the paperwork. I had to drive from Acworth Ga to renew temp tag and that was on Oct 26th. Here we are Dec. 7th still no paperwork still no tag, temp tag dies in 3 days. I have left messages everyday for last 10 days for the finance guy with no call back. Today I called and spoke with the branch Manager. I hope he can get it straightened out. I would avoid this dealership. Not good experience at all. Update I have reached out many times and this morning Trever told me I never left him a message. Dont trust this dealership.
This was my best vehicle purchase experience ever. The internet department made my appointment easy , Roy had my car cranked and ready already cooled down. The sales managers and finance department were awesome to work with as well. I even had a trip to the service department that felt like white glove service. Thank you all very much, Ill be back!
I had to use the service department for the first time and the entire staff here was courteous and helpful. They did everything they could to accommodate me and get the job done in a timely manner. I did leave and have to go right back but it was not something they did it was the tow companys terrible service (Sammis Towing) that was faulty. The dealer fixed the problem quickly and i was on my way. I will go back here from now on for all my service needs. Thank you all for welcoming me and my dog into your shop.
Let me start by saying, I love my new Dodge Journey that I purchased here. But that is about all the good I have to say about this place. My experience started off good, but went downhill from there. I feel like I got a good deal, and the sales staff got me the terms I needed. After the purchase was completed, is when things went south. They had 2 weeks to pay off my trade in, before I would have another payment due on it. Didn’t get it done! So of course, I had to pay a payment on my trade in that I shouldn’t have to make. When I called to try to get some answers about what was taking so long, my salesperson got very short and rude with me. (Austin)Then I had taken some paperwork from my doctors office to get a handicapped tag for my new car. I received my tag, and it isn’t a handicap plate. When I called and left a message for the sales manager to either send me the paperwork I gave him or call me and let me know if he still had it, he never answered my call. That has been over a week. I had to go back to my doctor to get replacement permit to go to the tag office and get it myself.Would I recommend this particular dealership to anyone else? Never in a million years! If you want a dodge, do yourself a favor and check out the Abercorn location, or go out of town and find a dealer!
Previously I had a very good experience with Chatham dodge and because of that was encouraged to come back. I called earlier in the week to s schedule an oil change but was informed that it was first come first serve. Thats fine but when I came on my only day off there was only two vehicles ahead of me, a Porsche and a Ford -150. I was informed it would be a 2 hour wait because they did not have the parts to service them. Since I have a dodge ram I asked if they could go ahead and put me through while they were waiting on the other, only makes since to me. But was informed they could not do that because it was a high dollar service on the porches. Really? Ill just take my business to Savannah tire where they do not discriminate.
Overall I had a very positive experience! Alexis was an excellent Sales Associate. She guided me to the truck I was looking for and worked out all of the details that I needed to make the purchase. Trevor in finance was very personable and clearly explained my loan information to me. Jesse the GSM was very helpful and worked to make sure I had a great buying experience.
Did a amazing job, pulled in a was treated at my truck door by William Caswell with a warm welcome and everything was already set to have my truck taken back. The mechanic was present and was very friendly and seem more the enthusiastic to start working on my truck. Terry was quick with his work and came to ask if there was anything else that I wanted looked at or done well the truck was in service. They did a extremely amazing job with the work they did and customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend them to anyone that has had hard times with a service department and want to see how you should be treated go to them.
I was stunned by the salespersons beautiful personality, willingness to help, ease of contacting multiple ways, ease of our conversation, and all around professionalism that she conveyed! Much to my surprise it wasnt only Debbie the salesperson. The whole staff presented a very polite, helpful, and professional. Come on in and have a seat with us experience. That made me feel at home. This coming from a normally shy reserved person. By far my most pleasant vehicle purchase ever.
So I traveled from NH. To Savannah in my 13 wrangler, I have had an issue with the engine dropping a cylinder, I brought it in and 400 plus bucks later picked it up. Drove to Daytona the next day, same issue. Brought it back and service was not accommodating at all, gave me several excuses, told me it wasnt warranted because I didnt buy spark plugs when the ones in the jeep were brand new, had this intermittent problem before and after I put the new plugs in. They wanted yet another 150 for diagnosis when I had just paid them 150 the day before! Seems like a scam to me !
I will never recommend this place I purchased my vehicle in March 2019. Right after that I started having issues I took the vehicle in on April they kept my car for 1 month. I kept calling to check on my vehicle was told it wasnt ready. No one ever return my phone calls, got my vehicle back in March same problem. Took it back they kept it for 3 weeks got my vehicle back same problem. Just took my vehicle in on yesterday waited 2 hours and problem is till there. Service department sucks they dont return phone calls and you have to chase them down in order to find out information. I have had more than 3 different loaner vehicles since I purchased this car. I would never ever refer this car dealership to anyone! Melissa never return phone calls and I was informed that the vehicle that I purchased was supposed to be taken to the auction. Why would they have me purchase this vehicle. So the people who were there when I purchased this vehicle the staff was fired. I knew something was wrong when I signed those papers!
Ive had a great overall customer experience here at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North. Michaella Chef Ewing was awesome with the assistance of Cody informing me with the different specifications of the vehicles. Also for picking up my choice from another location. I am satisfied and enjoying my new ride. Thank you
DO NOT BUY A CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP! Car was purchases in June and they have not sent the title. We are literally driving a car that we cant get registered or a plate. The car transmission went out within a week. We purchases a warranty and they took over 6 weeks to get the car back to us and after a week the transmission light came back on. We have called a number times and have asked to speak to the general manager and he not once called us back. I dont know about you but I can tell you we bought the car for 19k and we are devastated . No one will help us. We are in a very difficult situation.. I mean no title at all. No help at all. Please dont find yourself in our situation . There are many car dealerships that wont treat you like this. Im 59 years old and have never experienced this level of service. The called after this post and said they would take care of the title but guess what...nothing but silence since the call. No response and still no title not to mention we have a car that the transmission is still.broken and we even got the warranty. Looking for an attorney in the area. We beg you not to buy a car from this dealer . We owe 19k for a car with no plates and will not drive properly . We are a nice family that is dealing with a very unfortunate situation.UPDATE Oct 18th still no title. Since the bank has not received the title they increased the interest rate to 18%. We now are paying for a car that sit in the driveway that cant be licensed. It is against the law to withhold a title. Calling authorities including an attorney and will do all I can to prevent another person to go through this nightmare. Please do not buy a car from this dealership!
We had such a great experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Savannah! Sammie A. was so knowledgeable and helpful in our buying process. She honestly made the whole experience enjoyable and I hate the car buying process but this was a great one. If you are ever in need or want a vehicle go see her, you won’t regret it.
What a great experience. My husband and I both traded our vehicles a week apart. Makayla and Jhyson were our sales associates. They made us feel like family. They worked hard alongside the financial department to get us in our brand new vehicles in our budget with added GAP insurance, extended warranties and few more added benefits. The sales and financial managers answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns very thoroughly. They even signed us up for their points program for discounted maintenance! If youre in the market for a brand new or used vehicle, this is the place to go! Thank you Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Savannah!
I am a disabled veteran and here’s my story. I inquired about a 2016 Mercedes Metris CDJR North Savannah offered for sale on the internet the last week of January . I gave a detailed message that I did not want to drive to Savannah from south of Jacksonville until we had a deal in hand. A young lady emailed me back asking for me to call her. I did, and when the receptionist transferred me to her she answered the phone and said she had no idea who I was. She later emailed me back saying they had transferred my call to her personal cell phone and she was confused. I set an appointment to drive the 2 1/2 hours to Savannah to look at the van. About 45 minutes into drive the used car manager, Roy called me to let me know that when they drove the van from the back to have it ready for me the service engine light had just come on. Fortunately, I took snapshots of their internet ad as it shows a picture of the service engine light on and the RPMs near 1000! That’s means the van was running while that picture was taken, long before driving it up to the front. He informed me they were taking it to Mercedes to have it taken care of. I told him I would take my time getting there. When I arrived they took me to the Mercedes dealership to look at the van. I agreed to buy the van and have a check overnighted from Pentagon Federal Credit Union. A few minutes later I got a call from a manager, CJ, telling me that the special internet pricing was if I used there financing. I agreed to use their financing as long as I got the same rate, they did. Roy called me a few days later to tell me the 48,000 mile van had jumped timing and he would keep me informed as to the time frame. I finally talked to him tonight, nearly two weeks later, and he said they were sending it back to one of their dealerships in Ft Walton Beach. I let them know I was not happy with their decision. Jessie, the general manager called me the next day and wanted to make sure they take care of their veterans as he is also a veteran. I cannot tell you how much that has meant to be respected and honored for service. My Dad was a Vietnam Veteran and things were totally different. Thank you so much to the Savannah Chrysler North team for making things right and taking your business to heart. You have treated me like family and I would highly recommend civilians and military to give this company your business. I cannot speak highly enough of Jessie, he is an absolute asset to the company!!!
Just took my truck in for service and was immediately greeted by Heather my advisor. She was awesome, kept me informed, was straightforward and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. My technician was Joe, he was so meticulous and thorough. Thank you also Dave, Don and Jess in the parts department, they are great people! Not to forget Jessie the Sales Manager, he is the the absolute best. I would strongly recommend CDJR of North Savannah.
Followed up with a mail piece Is received the get a nice watch just for going in. I had to speak to 3 separate salesmen and repeat that I didnt want to fill out paperwork for a car. I was in there at least 10-15 minutes before I just walked out. The salesman came to me hurriedly saying hed get me the watch but I told him I no longer wanted it. I was going to give it to my young grandson, but totally not worth it.
Our experience at AutoNation was great! From the moment a salesman approached us in the lot, he wasnt pushy and really seemed to want to help. They didnt have exactly what I was looking for in the lot, I wanted some additional features the cars they had, didnt have, so Robert Reynolds took us inside and searched the inventory of all of their other stores. Other salesmen were helping too, which I thought was neat since they dont receive the commission on the sale. Robert was very patient and looked through pages and pages of cars until we found the one we wanted. It was in South Columbus GA. He arranged to have someone drive it down for us the next day so we wouldnt have to drive up there I get it. The whole experience was great and everyone I met there seemed genuinely interested in helping us find exactly what we needed. Ill definitely be going back.
I had THE WORST car buying experience here. From the beginning things werent right. And today, I go to get my tag and of course, the lag office says they can not issue me a registration because the car dealership did not do their part. I could sit here and explain myself and how awful it really was, but let me not blast by using names. Just know that i purchased 3 cars from Savannah Toyota and NEVER had an issue, and the salesman was PRESENT, HELPFUL, and made sure I was good and did not sit around waiting for hours on end.
We had a fantastic service experience. While traveling, our battery light came on. We found the closest dealership and stopped by about 4:30 PM. Will told us they were busy the rest of the day, and probably wouldnt be able to look at it the next day either. He did take time to check the computer, which showed no problem. He then did a quick check under the hood and immediately found a problem. Since we were on vacation we decided to leave the car (over a holiday weekend), and rent a car and continue. Will helped us with the arrangements. When we returned to the dealership a week later, we were greeted BY NAME and asked how our vacation went. The problem was fixed promptly and professionally. We dont live near the dealership, but if we did, I would be returning for all my service needs. Highly recommended.
I had a positive experience with my visit. I took my Jeep in for a recall and it was handled quickly and everything was explained to me. They also called because another issue was noted and luckily it was still under warranty. I was able to get both issues handled in the same visit.
Awful experience, the salesman told me I was getting a bumper to bumper warranty. Instead I got a power train warranty that covers nothing. Not even 6 months later the AC goes out. Then after miscommunication, they do a diagnostic test and charge me $135 when I just wanted to see what my warranty covered. On top of all that, this guy Chris was rude as he could be. The rest of the staff were very friendly and were just doing their job even though one girl said she hated it there, but she was still very nice and helpful. Will never give this company another dime.
I recommend that customers looking to purchase a vehicle stay away from this Chrysler/Dodge dealership on 1100 Chatham Parkway, Savannah. My husband and I had a very disappointing experience over the past week - we did our homework and had an appointment with a sale s manager to purchase a Dodge Ram pick-up and spent four hours in the dealership going over the details and options that we wanted and agreeing on a price. It was after all this time that we learned that the dealership did not indeed have the vehicle available to them and were working on getting it from another location. The sales manager processed our credit application (which they had no business doing without having a vehicle to sell us) - and assured us that they were 95% sure they could get the vehicle and promised to call us later that day (Saturday). They did locate another vehicle that had a slightly different set of options that would reduce the price by $2200 - which was agreeable to us - and the manager assured us that they would pass that saving on to us. When we went over the fine print and compared prices and features they tried to do a bait and switch and said that they really were not going to agree to what they just said - only a small portion of the $2200 savings would be passed down to us - which caused us to renegotiate and come to a new agreement. They still, however, needed to lock in access to the second vehicle and told us that rather than make us wait longer they would call us back shortly while we stayed in the area and waited for confirmation. After several hours we did not hear back so called them once more and were told again that they had not locked in a vehicle - told us that worst case scenario they would call us first thing Monday morning with details - again saying that they were 95% sure they had our vehicle available. As of early afternoon on Monday we still received no call so we called again and were promised that they secured a vehicle and planned to drive to a different location to pick it up for us so we could drive back to Savannah on Wednesday to pick it up - they agreed to call us first thing Wednesday morning to let us know what time we would be able to pick it up. It is now Thursday afternoon and clearly they have forgotten us. In the meantime, after calling other dealerships and starting from the beginning we learned that one of the features that was supposed to be included (E-Torque) is not even available on the truck so we were misinformed by Chrysler Dodge North Savannah.Bottom line - the lack of professionalism and discourteous lack of communication is glaring from this dealership. They have wasted 5 days of our time - do yourselves a favor and go to a different dealership.I would give them ZERO stars but the site wont allow it -
Just bought a new 2016 Journey and I cannot express how much Ted and I appreciate our salesman Toreze for his professionalism, guidance and genuine personality. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our sales manager Jesse was honest, sincere, and advised us throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain in detail how the company process works and made us feel comfortable. Not to mention a great personality!! Mike our financial guy was not pushy with added warranties and was thorough with explaining the benefits for each and made paper work signing a breeze! Les the parts manager for being so sweet to our little girl while all this took time. If your looking for a dealership thats not pushy, no haggle, treats you like family, honest and will do everything in their power to get you the car you want and need, look no further! Every single person in that building will treat you like family and make sure your comfortable. We were wore down with other dealerships lies, schemes, tricks and pushy tactics that we were about to give up. Im glad we didnt!! This is a top notch team. We will definitely do business again! Thank you!!
AutoNation North Savannah provides excellent customer service and they go above and beyond to help you find the car you are looking for. My husband and I were almost certain that it would be impossible to trade in his vehicle as we would be rolling over a good amount of negative equity into the loan. Our sales agent Toreze, along with Jessie and Mike, worked on finding us a Ram truck that, not only my husband would love, but that we could also make comfortable and affordable payments on. We went in on a Saturday and left thinking it would not be possible at all. Well through the week they continued to work with their finance department and by that next Saturday they had found us a great deal. Thank you AutoNation for a great experience.
I would say this was a good experience if we weren’t lied to about the inquiry. It’s not that much of a decrease in your credit, but they need to be more knowledgeable of the process. We ended up not getting a car bc we were initially told something different than what numbers we were given & they didn’t have the car we wanted on the lot, but insisted we move forward with the process.
On a Monday morning I arrived at the dealership to schedule an appointment for a transmission issue with my 2008 Ram. They said they were booked for three weeks. No problem. Made an appointment for the Monday three weeks later. Dropped the Ram off and it sat in the same spot for 4 days. On the fourth afternoon I asked about the progress on my Ram. They said they are still backed up. I said why not let me drive the truck since I work right across the street and let me know when you are actually ready to work on it or just tell me when I dropped it off you are not going to be able to get to it. He said that was a great idea and says I will send a shuttle over and pick it up. Three more weeks have gone by and no calls or the shuttle. I give it a 1 star because you cant give it a zero star. I highly recommend Butler Dodge in Beaufort South Carolina. In and out in three days.
This was probably the worse experience I’ve had buying a vehicle. They took a tremendous amount of my time when I was buying the vehicle. They never gave me any records that they had did a multi point inspection, but they said they did. I had to change the oil and do the alignment bc it was not done. The title and registration expired and I never got my title or registration as they said I would within a few weeks. The clerical errors and trying to reach out about these problems were such a hassle I wanted to reach out to the attorney general. It’s been over 45 days and I still have not been able to resolve my issues.Absolute worse dealership !!!!If you buy from them, expect to have issues!!
Highly recommend! We are welcoming our second baby in just a few days and needed a bigger vehicle that still fit our payment window. They made it happen! We are getting everything we wanted in a family vehicle without having to break our bank. Chris, Roy and Alexis all went above and beyond. Couldnt be more thankful.
Went ready to buy, had preselected a vehicle - even had an appointment. Another person took over, was very inattentive, left us sitting at her desk 4 or 5 times, tried to wait on 2 other people while we were waiting. we had enough, stood up. we questioned her about her actions; she got defensive and arrogant and told us to have a nice day! We got in our car, went across the street, were greeted properly, our needs were met, and we were on our way. Two very different experiences. My advice: stay away from these people. they either dont know what they are doing or (worse) dont care! We wasted our time!! Really, NO stars is what they deserve.
Better communcations at this dealership are urgently needed. We received a recall notice for our Dodge Ram 3500 passenger airbag and called for an appointment to have it replaced. We had the truck in at the appointment time of 10am. The service writer, Andrew, was very efficient and pleasant. Although there was no problem with getting the work done, there is a definite communications problem ongoing at both this AutoNation North location as well as the AutoNation South dealership. We first called the South location because weve had work done there before, but not since it became AutoNation. The service writer there said shed have to call me back because there were three people ahead of me. That would have been fine, except no one called back. When I called again after an hour, no one answered when I pressed the selection number for the Service Department. It rang and rang and eventually went to a fast busy signal. I called back twice more within the hour with the same results. Finally, I tried other extensions, and the phone system rang continuously with no answer, and returned to the main menu, where the same experience was repeated with the Service Department extension. Thats how we ended up at the AutoNation North location: someone actually answered the phone in the Service Department. But, while the work was done satisfactorily there, the AutoNation North location has the same problem with their phone system and customer communications. We dropped our vehicle off at 10am sharp. While we understood that replacement of the airbag would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours after it got to the mechanic and not from the time we dropped it off, at 4:30 that afternoon we hadnt received a call that the work was finished. When I finally called to ask if the truck was ready and tried to reach the Service Department I ran into the same issues with the phone system---unanswered rings until it went to a fast busy signal, and no response. When I called back a little later, same issue. I was finally able to get through to the Parts Department, where the person I spoke with actually had to leave his area and walk over to the Service Department to get a response. No misunderstanding: the service department writer couldnt have been nicer; this was not an issue with him. This is a communications system problem that needs to be corrected immediately. For my part, if it happens next time I need service at AutoNation North or South Ill find another dealership somewhere that doesnt frustrate customers like this.UPDATE:Years ago, I told the CEO of the company I was with that I needed to know when I was doing something wrong, but I also needed to know when I was getting it right. When a business receives a complaint like this one and IMMEDIATELY takes steps to make sure the problem is corrected, I believe it needs to be known by the people who read these reviews that theyre getting it right. Shortly after I posted this review, the general manager of the dealership was in contact. He assured me that he had taken steps to make sure the communications problems I experienced would not happen again, and gave me details of how the problem would be prevented in the future. I appreciate the fact that management not only paid attention to the review, but acted on the problem quickly. Thats not only good business, its good customer service. Thank you, Mr. Williams.
Had an appointment on a Monday at 10am. Vehicle there 2 days and they have not done anything. Called several times and left messages and no response. Tomorrow will be day 3 and I will continue to call every hour and leave messages. I have used the Dogde dealer in Hinesville in the past and will from now on. Much better service.
For the past year, I have taken my vehicle to AutoNation and have been very pleased with their services. They have an outstanding Service Representative name Andrew!! His customer service skills are outstanding; he focuses on what customers need and require. When I need my vehicle service I ask for Andrew. Hes very knowledgeable about vehicles, mindful and attentive to his customers. I recently needed tires for my vehicle and Andrew provided my husband and I with detailed information concerning tire options. Andrew excels at customer service. If you need services for your vehicle visit AutoNation today and ask for Andrew!!
I walked in to get a cheap pre-owned car after a recommendation from a coworker who bought a new charger from this dealership. Somehow they managed to get me approved for a brand new vehicle of my choosing! They were very helpful and patient and let me see and test as many vehicles as I wanted though it didnt take long. Other dealerships would have started losing initiative and interest after showing the first car but these guys were great! Taveres was my sales man and he was extremely professional and helpful with everything! I recommend to everyone!
I wouldnt advise anyone to buy a car here based on the logistical staff they have after purchasing a car. I bought a car under the impression they would handle applying for and mailing my tag to me. After not hearing anything for a month and a half and my temporary tag now expired, I decided to call about getting another temporary tag, since I had not received my permanent plate yet. Ashley, who customer service said handles this type of issue, wasnt helpful. She blamed another woman who doesnt work there anymore by saying she got behind, and if the information is not sent to the DMV within 30 days, I have to pick up my own tag. She also refused to issue me a new temporary tag in the meantime. No one from the dealership ever reached out to me to inform me of this issue and how it was apparently now my responsibility to get my own tag. Furthermore, when I got to the DMV, they said they do not have a tag for me. After calling and speaking with Ashley yet again, she then said I would actually have to purchase my own tag since the information wasnt sent by the dealer within 30 days. It was my understanding I paid for my tag in my fees for the car at the time of purchase. Now I have to pay for my own tag after I already paid the dealership for it? This complete lack of communication is highly unprofessional, incredibly irritating, and Ashley was not helpful at all in resolving the matter. Otherwise, my salesman, Mike, and the finance manager, Trevor, could not have been more kind and helpful throughout the buying process. However, overall, I would probably not buy a car here in the future.
Very awesome! Alexis was my sales lady and she was absolutely fantastic at helping me find a truck right for me. I caught a great deal on 2018 bighorn. I’d recommend anybody trying get the best bang for your buck. Awesome customer service, just pull up and ask for Alexis. She will hook you up nice
Sammie was SUPER AWESOME!! She was very sweet, professional and just all around GREAT! Everybody there was honestly. Sammie was very very helpful, honest & she knew her stuff. I am very happy with my purchase & would definitely recommend anybody in search of a car to Come here & ask for sammie..
Horrible customer service. Horrible service department. Had my car for over 2 weeks to do a motor mount and sensors. Service manager lies and does lack luster work. Her name is Fatima even though she lied on a customer that doesn’t result in right in which she should be terminated. But unfortunately at this time she can’t be fired according to the dealership manager. The customer service managers are rude and third grade at best. Please and I mean please do not spend your hard earned money on these clowns!!!!
I had A Really nice buying experience today July 23,2020. The dealership was nice and Clean. The vehicles are presented well. Ask for Jheyson he is very knowledgeable and spent the time showing me the Ram 2500 and 3500 truck. I ended up making a deal on A Ram 2500 4x4 Crew cab. Initially I had talked to Roy in the internet sales He communicated very well and obviously took care of me or I wouldnt be writing this Review. They are Very professional and I would come here in the future to do business again! If you want to call and Ask for Jheyson I don’t think you would be disappointed.

2022-05-17Thank you Mike Willis for the amazing client experience! Were not first time StepOne Auto clients, but this location is better thanks to him! Were the type of buyers who hate wasting peoples time, and definitely vice versa. When we step into dealerships its because we already have an idea of what we want, how much $ well allocate for the car note and how much more profit in return should it give us back. Mike assisted us without the Sales spiel and fluff that busy clients like us do not need at all.In ~3hrs (from A to Z), we left the place with a sweet interest rate, no DP per usual and of course- this vehicle that will pay for itself and then some. (Disclaimer: 800+ credit score here, not a first time buyer)If you are looking for straightforward assistance in this dealership without the BS, look for Mike or Abraham. Thank you guys!!!

2022-02-19Had a pleasure working with a fantastic associate, Chevy Griner. He worked with me to find a vehicle that suited my finances and got me a great trade in vehicle. He was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. Thank you so much 😊

2021-11-03Great customer service. CHEF is an excellent sales associate. I presented her with the requirements I needed in a vehicle and she delivered. My first time buying from a dealership was made very easy as she was able to walk me through the process in an efficient yet thorough manner. She even stayed late to help me out. Highly recommend 👍

2022-03-02Keshundra was a very great saleswoman when it came to selling me a car. She was able to knock off a few fees and got me out the door at a reasonable price within my budget. She had a great attitude throughout the entire process and was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend working with her if you visit this dealership. 10/10.

2022-06-15Update: Went to the dealership in Beaufort and they addressed all of my concerns in under 30 minutes. A power steering line was no longer connected at the gearbox. To the service manager that didnt have time for me today: You completely wasted my time and money. Had you addressed my concern one of the four times this truck was brought back, you wouldnt have had to worry about finding time to look at my truck. Your team instead told me it was all residual fluid from the tech not cleaning up, and made me feel like I was absolutely crazy. I truly hope that you decide to treat people with a little more respect, and hold your team to higher standards. I should not have been back FOUR times with issues - the parking brake not attached, fluid dripping everywhere and damage to trim pieces on the truck due to that fluid, coolant not being filled the day we picked it up, coolant system leaking, power steering lines leaking. I have no hope that the repairs in the motor were done correctly after the sloppy work completed everywhere else. This was such a simple concern, you could have added dye and had me come back the next day to confirm it was residual. Instead, we had to wait until it came off completely and could have damaged the truck. The service department here is awful. They tore apart the motor (with only 26,000 miles - brand new truck) to replace quite a few parts internally, and we have had nothing but issues since. It is still visibly dripping power steering fluid (the tech originally told me it was all residual, made me feel horrible, and then told me if it was leaking I needed to find the leak if I wanted it fixed). One month later I am still bringing it back and they refuse to even look at it without an appointment (no appointments until July - but running out of power steering fluid and having to replace often), and refuse to acknowledge that this is due to their work. Thanks to them, I now have a $65,000 lawn ornament.

2022-08-18I recently stopped by their sales event. I was greeted by a salesman named Tony. He asked me to fill out some basic paperwork. I obliged and he asked if he could run a credit check. I said “only if you are not doing a hard pull on my credit”. I was not interested in purchasing a new car at this time, but was considering a trade in, for a diesel truck. I found one that I was considering. I decided I wanted to sleep on it. After leaving the lot I got an alert that a hard pull had been done on my credit. If a salesman cannot be honest about something so simple, how honest could they be about other aspects of a car deal.

2022-02-04Our initial salesman, Ishmael, was nice and friendly. But the sales manager is very rude and obviously does not care about the vehicles he sells or the investment that one makes in a vehicle. Absolutely do not recommend. The manager told my wife and I to “Have a good night” (kicked out the dealership) for making an offer based on the KBB value of the vehicle they had. He talked down to us as if we didn’t know anything about cars or the selling process just because we are a young couple. I was initially compelled to buy here because I am a first responder and I have actually gotten free food while on shift from some of the events that they have done. Clearly they do not care about Law/Fire/EMS/Nurses, otherwise I would’ve been treated with respect. 0/10. Do not waste your time and don’t ruin your day. Skip the trip. Plenty of other dealerships in Savannah.

2022-02-10The salesman gave me every effort and consideration that he could. I ended up buying the car I was looking for and making some trade ins towards my purchase. The dealership was quite busy, but gave me the time and service I expected. My salesman Carlos Sosa was dedicated to my experience and satisfaction. The manager was very personable and helpful. I would recommend this place to you without hesitation.

2022-08-10DISHONEST AND DISGUSTINGTHEY ARE BUYING ACCESS TO YOUR BROWSER HISTORY AND TARGETING YOU.I came here as a victim of a scheme targeting people in low income areas. We received a “winning” scratch off in the mail and skeptically called to confirm. We were told that we had indeed won and we were to come to the dealership to collect. The man sat us down and carried on the charade until he’d finished his sales pitch ADMITTING THAT WE WERE TARGETED because we have been searching for a USED CAR ONLINE.He reread the flyer pointing out that even though the scratch off space says winner, we didn’t win anything and gave us two lottery tickets.Maybe I’m naive for believing it but I’m willing to look stupid to point out how disgusting this is.We have never purchased from a dealership and have never had a car payment. We were targeted for being in a low income area and owning old cars.I will never purchase a car here and I will discourage everyone I know from buying here. You will be taken advantage of and swindled.Look at Yelp reviews.
