Really awesome store filled with anything and everything. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s a whole other showroom. They also have a really awesome event every last Thursday of the month from 6 PM to 9 PM and serve food! This store and the staff are awesome; Ms. Z has several booths at the store and not only does she carry amazing merchandise, she’s also the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. If you think you’ve lost faith in antique stores, or if you want to try your first one, this is the place to go.
Ive lived in the area for a while, but only recently came to know of City Antiques. And since then, Ive been back at least 4-5 times, and brought other people with me, too. Ive found many amazing deals here, and bought some really unique furniture, vintage handbags, sculptures, and garden decoration items. Theres always something here thats one of a kind. Absolutely worth coming here if youre into antique shopping.
City Antiques mandates face masks for all staff. They follow the State guidelines for their customers. With over 20,000 sq ft of showroom space there is ample room for customers to spread out. Hand sanitizer bottles are located through out the store for customer use. As local and State guidelines change, City Antiques changes as well.
This was a great antique store. Its very large and has a smaller second building. In between the buildings is a courtyard with outside furniture and yard stuff to look through. There are a lot of vendors between the two buildings. In the main building, there is an antique book seller. Its like walking into an old library here with so many old, wonderful books. The man running that part was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was amazing! Ive never seen such a collection. Its a great place for any antique book collector! I dont collect books like that but after seeing this place we want to start! This place was recommended to us by a friend so we tried it out. We already plan on bringing fronds and family to this place! We found several small items that we ended up buying. The staff was very friendly and helpful; very nice folks. They took our items to the front desk for us so we didnt have to carry them all over the place. They also helped us find a couple of small, specific things we were looking for.It is tucked back off the road so its hard to see but its worth going to. We cant wait to go back to find more treasures. I love antique stores and this is now one of my top places to go. Its a great place to wander around and get lost in!
Went there today and was approached by an older gentleman with a “City Antiques” polo shirt and he talked to me very closely and WITHOUT Mask. I had to take couple steps back and was not happy. I just wanted to then grab couple wood restoration products, after cutting short my shopping, and a short blond haired lady behind the counter was talking out loud without masks.Don’t go there if you care about your health or people wearing masks. I left without buying anything and do not recommend because they have signs asking people to wear masks, and they will approach you close and talk to you and check your items out without masks.
Ive been to some antique stores in the area but this one is my new favorite. Different vendors have their own booths so theres a huge variety of merchandise. Behind their main building is a 2nd building with more antiques as well as an art studio. Also toward the front theres an amazing library of old books, some of which date back to the 1500s.
Place seemed a little more posh than other antique stores. Where most any other place Ive been with my toddler, Ill get smiles and happy reactions to my charming daughter, at City both employees and customers just looked at me with a what will she break? Was ok. I hunt for vintage tools and there was little in the way of that at City.
What a hidden gem! Phenomenal place to gift shop and spend an afternoon. Something here for everyone....hidden away behind Direct Buy off holcomb bridge there isnt another antique place in the area like this one. Owner Frank and staff have a real passion and mission to repurpose older things...along with the run of higher-end antique glass and a great selection of cut glass - think unique wedding gifts for under $100....Frank has a furniture shop where his craftsman rework salvaged barn timbers into custom tables.....cedar, heart pine, black walnut to name a few...at a fraction of the price youd pay elsewhere. Gorgeous harvest tables and benches for 25% of what youd see them for somewhere else. You can literally spend all day here. This one is a real find!!
I LOVE this place! From the moment I entered I said Where have you been all my life? The variety of things is exciting, and every single person I have met there is charming, truly loving what they do & are thrilled to share their finds.I cannot recommend The City enough.Ignore the haters, come in and meet the lovers!

2022-05-18A lot of cool funky stuff, prices do vary as any antique / thrift store would of course. I loved the variety of oriental, and Americana etc. staff was super nice and helpful with any questions. Can’t wait to go back and look at more. Many sales going on all the time so you can get some good deals!

2018-02-21Lots of vendors with a varied selection of styles and products. A must-see if you come to Roswell. I always stop by the jewelry section . Reasonable prices and great products. Also check out the antique books section. This has to be the largest collection of antique books in the ATL. Saw a book from the 1500. So much history! In one of my photos is a wheel chair from the Civil War. Never seen that before!

2022-06-10Dealers Beware! Unscrupulous businessman! Im so happy you took my lead about the showcases for sale and made a profit...with no finders fee paid...or even a thank you...!You lied to your business partner/wife...saying you had prior knowledge..!You are untrustworthy and two-faced..!
