I have stayed at this hotel many times. In October 2021 I booked a 2-bed 2-bath suite for April 2022. The website stated that there was complimentary parking, as has always been the case. I actually stayed on NYE and that was still true then, so I know for a fact that it was accurate as of October. I went to check in earlier this month and they rescinded the free parking - boom, $80 charge. Then I got up to the room and they removed the 2nd bathroom! I understand that changes happen, but I booked and paid for a given service and then did not receive what I paid for. That is REALLY not ok for people who booked a long time ago! I know they couldn’t magic me a second bath, but they could have at least honored the free parking that was part of the service back when I booked it. I definitely won’t ever be back again, in my eyes they stole from me.
I always choose to book through Choice because they have quality hotels at afforable prices. When I arrived the staff was kind, the lobby was moden, and the exterior was nice. However, the room was so dirty. The floors had not been vacuumed or swept, the walls had damaged spots all over the walls, a huge hole busted in the door, and the desk had flakes of glass stuck to it. The only reason we went ahead and slept there was due to the fact that we had traveled far and had to get up early for an event.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The sheets were stained.. it smelled like weed even inside the rooms. The bathroom sink was falling off the wall as well as the toilet paper holder. Trash on the floor. When theres stuff about bed bugs written in the elevator and they just leave it there...Parking spaces are so small you can barely get out of the car.. and over $20 to park there. I was too paranoid to sleep or even lay in the bed so we just left and drove home.
Positive: Close proximity to business meetings. Negative: I was quoted free breakfast and free parking. I pointed out to the booking agent that the web mentioned a charge for parking. Was told not to worry about this¿but it did. Was charged for breakfast at checkout, but was able to get this removed. Nice sta
Positive: The room was overall nice. Negative: I reserved and paid for my room in advance. I had a blow out on the way to hotel and called the hotel and told them I would be arriving the next morning. When I arrived at the hotel, they canceled my reservation and charged me a cancelation fee.
Not what we expected especially when our first room was between the employee lounge and a maintenance closet. Smelled like cigarettes. Second room was ok on second floor but on second night of a three night stay, there were people next door partying all night long. Did not get much sleep. Will not be back here again.
Front desk was not very capable of handling using an outside service, such as Expedia, to pay for the room. Room I ended up with smelt like housekeeping was smoking marijuana while they were cleaning it. Great location, 2 blocks from Mercedes Benz Stadium, in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
This was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had at a hotel. I booked through Priceline, where they have this listed as having free parking. I had already paid and they charged me for two nights (which by the way, was cheaper than what I paid on Priceline). I am still fighting with them to give me my money back 4 days later. They also make you pay 20$ for parking even though their listing advertises it as being free, and they charge 5$ per day for breakfast (which i did not get, but they did charge me for!). Do not stay here unless you want to pay an extra 300$ over what you already paid.
After a tragic first day of vacation due to car trouble and missing a flight, my fiancé and I found what seemed like the last hotel room in Atlanta. There was some convention in town and everything everywhere was booked. We crawled in after 10 pm only to find our room was not supposed to be booked because of a non-functioning AC unit, no phone, ect. We even lacked pillows, towels, and toiletries. Seems bad, but the reason for this 5 star review was a fantastic woman named Alexis. She provided everything we needed for a shower and quick nap, and even guaranteed us a refund for the state of the room. Upon checkout, I realized we left some valuables including a work computer in the room and Alexis secured the items in the safe, and kept them until we returned to town. She literally saved my vacation. Alexis, you have my utmost gratitude! Give this legend a raise!
Positive: The free breakfast was surprisingly good. Waffle bar and sorta nice options... FUNKY fruit. Hotel is seriously SO DIRTY that I wasnt sure about eating ANY food prepared there, but for THE INSANE PRICE of my VERY nasty room? You BET I was eating SOMETHING Negative: Absolutely the DIRTIEST place I have EVER... If the reservation had been refundable, I WOULD HAVE. Dried pee on the toilet seat, drip marks everywhere, un-vacuumed rooms, broken shower heads, wrinkly beds, DARK carpet stains. REEKED LIKE WEED AND TOBACCO.
Will not stay here again. Our sink was held up with a piece of wood. The hallway smelled of marijuana at all hours. One of the parents was approached by someone selling it. Not a good place to stay especially when you are there with your young cheerleaders. Creepy people walking around in the parking lot.
I give our overall experience a 5 because of the service we received from the staff. Mainly because of 1 individual in particular, his name is Daquan. Upon our arrival we were greeted with some of the most brightest and vibrant energy a person could exuberate. His personality and his highly positive vibration was something you could not ignore. When we told him we were from Houston on our anniversary vacation he was so delighted and gave us his best wishes. He also included that he recently visited our hometown and said he loves Houston because our city welcomed and embraced him like he was Beyonce. We really enjoyed his larger than life personality and he gave us some nice places to go and try for good eating. The only reason we give 4 stars for the room is because of the hot water issues. Other than that breakfast was great Paschals was great and we enjoyed Atlanta to the fullest. Needless to say that we will visit again and that is largely because of Daquan. If your reading this Daquan thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for being authenticly yourself and loving life and people the way you do. And thank you so much for taking our anniversary pics , my wife and I really love them.
Ok i called SO MANY hotels in Atlanta while i was there with my daughter and her friend dreas shopping for her padgent dress. NOBODY had rooms because of events going on except this place. They have comfortable rooms with limited space but also enough space. They seem to keep the place really clean and the lobby is small but space used wisley and pretty nice. For the price its about rite.
This was a horrible experience from the pot filled parking lots, halls, and elevator to the dirty rooms. Parking is also an issue; paid $20 for parking and had to park in the lot across the street in a not so great part of town. Going up the front stairs the hand rail on the right is insecure and lose, causing me to almost fall. The sheets on the beds were dirty with trash left in them and the room overall was dirty. The toilet seat was cracked and pinched your leg when you used it.
All complaints above are about my hotel. Dirty toilet in a dirty room second room that I was moved to was also dirty. Condition of pull out loveseat as a couch was dirty and nasty did not have to actually use the pull out. Stains on carpet stains on upholstery dirty refrigerator bar area.
The best part about this hotel is the location, beyond that you are better off going somewhere else. Room was decent but a major issue was the staff not cleaning the rooms during our entire weekend stay since our stay wasnt long enough whatever that means. Everything about this place is mediocre.
Still staying there the night clerk was very helpful and gave us good advice . but this morning when I went downstairs for breakfast a lot of the items were gone and wasnt replaced which was disappointing considering there was still a hour left for the meal to be served. quite a few people were disappointed but ... i suggest when there is a full house that more food be prepared to accommodate the guests. This is an updated version: plenty of food from last vist, nice ,clean ,spacious room, location is perfect for state farm arena, or Mercedes stadium. Would definitely continue going in the future.
This hotel is in a good location to the Mercedes Benz stadium but it has a lot of negative attributes. It is old, The elevator makes a lot of noise and you dont feel secure in riding in it. The carpets seem old and the shower took 30 mins to drain. The desk chair had a big rip in it. The only positive is the proximity to the stadium otherwise, not a good place to stay.
I saw some of the negative reviews so I felt that it was necessary to make a comment myself. I travel all the time and have stayed at many different la quinta hotels and my impression of this one as soon as I walked in felt a sense of grandeur and looked to be one of the nicer la quintas when you walk in I mean its very very nice. However, the rooms are a little outdated and that there isnt a thermostat on the wall and the rooms look like they were upgraded within its means but the paint on the wall and the style just give it that older look but my overall experience was great. Of course youre in downtown Atlanta so if you worry about safety that was one of my worries but as soon as I stepped inside the hotel it did feel secure and even had like this mini courtyard in the middle of the hotel that was outside etc which made the hotel overall nice in its engineering but was not engineered to maximize room space for the customers. Im not disappointed and this is definitely at least four stars especially because they have the hot breakfast. :-)
The Clarion Inn is a low budget place to sleep. The facilities are old and there are stained couches in the lobby. When arriving at the inn, I was approached by a homeless man who wouldnt move away from my taxi until I gave him money. The bathroom is small with peeling paint. The toilet seat looks old. There is no trash can in the bathroom. The only reason I give it 1 star is because the staff are welcoming.
Alexis is the bomb dot com greeted me with such pleasant hospitality, checking in as well with kadeja was a breeze, didn’t have enough towels notified Tyson he handled it right then with such a nice attitude also Dequan is so funny that is the dream team of the Clarion they are wonderful employees and I have stayed at multiple times because of the staff they treat me with such hospitality and respect and most of all I’ve never went into a problem checking in or out of my room stay is always pleasant room is always clean and it’s always comfortable and quiet thank you allFor such a great staying experience
I have been a choice member for over 10 years and this is by far the worst place Ive stayed. The rooms are dingy and smelled, the area is horrible, there were people lurking outside. I didnt feel safe at all. After playing softball allday in the rain in Columbus, I was extremely tired, needless to say I didnt get any sleep. Please dont bring your family, my son was so uncomfortable. I ended up paying 350 the next day for another hotel being that we were there for the aquarium and Braves game. Never again will I book anywhere in this area or even with choice again for that matter. Very disappointed
I had a nice stay here! I was a little concerned at first because of the people in the parking lot but they have security. The parking is free but the lot in the back is not that big. This is where they asked us to park. The clerks were nice and friendly. The breakfast was really good! They have a hot buffet bar. The room was a nice size. My only complaint is how small the bathroom was. Its really small. Nice location. Nice stay for what I paid though.
When you enter the hotel, the immediate feel of the hotel is dingy. The carpet is dirty. The halls and elevators smelled of cigarette smoke. I was actually quite nervous going up to the room... wondering what to expect. I was shocked to see that the room itself was definitely nicer than the interior of the hotel. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, the battery in the remote was dead (and it was too late when we got there to even fool with calling downstairs) and we found hairs in the clean folded bath towels. The worst part of the stay though was the tub didnt drain. So, we had to stand in dirty bath water while taking a shower. The ladies who checked us in and out of the hotel were very courteous and nice.
Positive: Locations to concert venue Negative: Room was squeezed between the elevator and another room. You couldn¿t open the bathroom door all the way because it hit the bed. Not an impressive room for the price. I feel I could have found a better room for the same price.
I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. Our room was very dark and outdated. And then I looked at the bed. Hair!! So much hair was all over! (I must mention I have braids and my mom has a very short natural fro.) I went and informed the front desk attendant. She said this was the third incident that day of guest finding hair. She and I went around to 3 vacant rooms to check them out. Hair on beds in each room we went in! She was very apologetic but we still needed somewhere to sleep due to traveling all day. We ended up staying in a room that was the cleanest of all but I still discovered a hair on the bed and hair all in the shower plus the soap dish wasn’t even clean. I cannot believe what I saw. This is by far the worst place I have stayed! I have attached a few photos. I have more it won’t let me upload!
Stayed in a King room. The room was spacious, generally clean and definitely bright lighting! Bed was soft, water was warm and came through one of those large shower heads, and the elevator smelled like walking into Abercrombie. The AC in the room worked very well without having to be on high constantly. Cons: there was a plumbing issue with the toilet, so it was constantly draining water. No issue with its function, but audibly, it sounded like a constant countertop water fountain was running throughout my room. Some of the electrical plugs were cascading in the wall, not enough to raise alarm, but noted. The tile floor in the bathroom had a residue on it that made it super slick. Not sure what the cause, but felt oily with bare feet and I almost slipped with socks on. Overall, staff was helpful and friendly and my experience was still a good one; Id stay here again.
Positive: Checking in was a breeze. Negative: The hotel staff and security were extremely unprofessional. My room was not cleaned to standard, and the breakfast buffet was sorely lacking basic standards such as pork bacon, eggs, and other basic necessities. I would not recommend this hotel.
I stayed here a weekend in April. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the hotel is minutes from downtown Atlanta. But, the rooms werent very clean. I came into the room and I always check to make sure the linen and mattress are clean. There were crumbs between the headboard and mattress like someone had eaten glazed donuts in bed. The floor needed to be vacuumed and the comforter had hair on it. The bathroom also needed a more thorough cleaning. I guess you get what you pay for, which wasnt much. Also, parking was TERRIBLE. there seem to be more guests than parking spots. There was a lot across the street but traveling by car I just felt uneasy about not being able to see or hear my car alarm if necessary.
My boyfriend and I traveled 8 hours to go to a concert and found this hotel 15 minutes walking distance from the venue. It was supposed to be perfect. Found bed bugs in room 310 and informed the front desk. They put us in 202 and then called us 40 minutes later after we left to run errands saying “Our manager says the options you have are to stay in the room you originally checked into or we will give you a full refund to check out”They said “We don’t want the bed bugs to spread.” After already putting us in 202.We obviously checked out and are super disappointed with how the situation was handled. We are only giving a 1 star for how polite reception was.We will be looking out for the refund. Have not received it.Update 9/28/2021: we did receive a refund! (:
Bad hotel in a very bad area with even worse customer service. From the moment we checked in it was terrible. 1st room TV was literally hanging from wall and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. 2nd room TV didnt work at all and the bathroom was extremely small. Wanted to check out immediately and find a better hotel but was told Id still have to pay. Decided to stay and use the hotel for just sleep and keep my children busy during the day. However sleeping was even hard to do with the amount of noise coming from the halls due to the workers early morning meeting that took place right by our room. My family vacation started out bad because of this hotel but after 2 days I quickly booked somewhere else and according to my kids was a major upgrade at a better hotel that we felt comfortable and safe.
The smell of weed permeated throughout the hotel. All of the bedsheets were stained and the tub had hair in it from the previous guests. The headboard obviously hadnt been cleaned in a while as it was stained with handprints and something sticky. The floors in the lobby and elevator were always sticky, the sound of other guests could be heard throughout the hotel room, and another guest left because they found bedbugs in two different rooms. The one good thing I can say about the hotel is that the front desk staff was kind and professional. This hotel is repugnant and I would not recommend anyone stay here either.
So disappointed with the appearance of the room. The housekeeper did not take all of the trash the bed had stains on the sheets. Housekeeping did not come make the bed. I dont have any new clean towels. Im not comfortable at this hotel. The ladies at the front desk did not have really good customer service skills you can tell they have attitudes. Im not sure if Ill be back at this hotel but it was convenient of the area where I needed to be to visit with family
It has its good and bad.Pros: location (walking distance to stadium, arena and GWCC)Rooms are nice and cleanFree parkingBreakfast is OKStaff was niceCons: location (its still a good walk to events through not the best neighborhood). Questionable characters hanging around the property makes you a bit worried about your vehicle, especially with signs posted to make sure you dont leave valuables in car and they are not responsible for damage.Heavy drug use in area. Strong smell of pot around the property, I saw a used needle in the parking lot.Walls are paper thin. I could literally hear the guy in the next room clear his throat and I could sure hear the next couple arguing. All in all, I will pay up and stay elsewhere on my next visit to Atlanta.
If youre looking for nice and clean accommodation, then dont stay here. The hotel smells of weed. The appliances are very dated. Our room had a broken toilet tissue holder that caused the tissue to precariously perch on the end and at any minute may fall. The bathroom door had some type of insulation coming from the top and the shower was very small with no type of holder. There was rust on one of the lamp base. Air wasnt cooling and Im cold most of the time. You get what you pay for but I was expecting decency at least for $80 for a single night.
I rated this hotel so poorly because due to flight cancellations I was unable to attend my stay but charged 399.60 for the time I spent at home. When attempting to contact the hotel on the date of check in my calls were not answered and when I finally got through to someone the following day they asked I call back the GM arrived. 2 days have passed and I believe the General Manager is actively ignoring my calls and sending me to voicemail on which I’ve left a detailed account of my experience requesting that they call me to reconcile. I continued to try and cancel knowing I would never arrive and benefit from the service I paid for but it has been to no avail. I would not recommend booking this hotel if you are from out of state as plans can change and they seem to be extremely uninterested in returning money to customers even in exceptional circumstances. The team that manages this location in Atlanta have the ability to demonstrate their compassion and be understanding of the fact that I never stepped foot in hotel yet am being charged in full for the amount rather than just the ‘No Show Fee’ which is in and of itself perplexing. If I had the ability to rate lower I would’ve.
Being a travel agent I stay many different places. The room smelled. The halls smelled like weed. The room could not have been cleaned before we check in because I could wipe my finger across the furniture and wope a coat of dust. There was some suspect activity in the parking lot. People sitting in cars late at night for long periods. The side door used for guest was never locked when went through making it easy for anyone to go in and out. The hotel seemed like it was a local go to ducky spot. I was not satisfied at.
This hotel needs house a keeping staff that understands how to clean sofa beds from previous guests and insure that bed spreads are clean before new hotel guests enter the room. Please hire front desk employees that are trained to ensure that rooms are clean before a guest enters the room and hire house keeping staff that thoroughly clean a room.
Great spacious room with a nice clean bathroom. Free parking and competitive pricing was great too! The girl at the front desk was cool and they even had security! I have 3 complaints though. One, the free breakfast was an apple, bottle of water, and a danish. I guess that could have been due to COVID-19 but I don’t think they should be advertising free breakfasts at that point then. Two, the view from the window was an interior so we only saw a small courtyard from our room. Three, the parking was super limited so if we had left to drive anywhere that night we likely wouldn’t have gotten a spot when we came back. Overall it was a decent stay though, I’d stay again
The room and hallways smelled of Smoke...unclean sheets...rude employees. Had an attitude upon arrival (front desk). Cleaning crew very rude. Tub poor drainage...sticky floors...outsiders allowed in hotel. The pictures online portray a clean hotel but that wasnt accurate. I despised coming back to the room at night. Definitely will not stay here again.
The outside looks new, close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the staff is very helpful......Now for the bad. Hotel looks old, one elevator for 4 floors and a lot of rooms, smell of marijuana in the halls was very strong, people above us had a dance party until 2a. If u expect a 2 room suite , its not even close, The livingroom was not much bigger than a closet and no TV, the only TV was in bedroom on the wrong wall(you had to sit on the side of bed to watch) Was supposed to stay 2 nights, checked out after one night ( which they discounted) and left.
I was looking for a cheaper stay for my annual trip to the Access Services Conference. My main concerns were free parking, free internet and lower overall price while still within a reasonable distance of my conference center. I happened upon Clarion during my internet search. It met all of my criteria easily. The photos looked good so I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and I felt safe with the security provided. And the drive to the conference center was actually easier than I expected. Its not as fancy as some of the other hotels, but it met my needs well. I just needed it to be clean, safe and affordable. I will definitely be back.
The room was small but clean. The bed and pillows were above expectations. Close to a not so nice area of town but my family felt safe enough we walked to the stadium. Also, the noise level was very low to for the area which was so surprising. The staff were all super nice and friendly, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast. She made each morning enjoyable.
Its VERY close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium & State Farm Arena!!! The staff was courteous and friendly. The room and bathroom was so spacious! Nice and quite. It was clean...but a bit over priced I must say. Other than that everything else was exceptional and I may come back and stay for a week or so just to get away, be in peace and clear my mind. I loves the outside area with outdoor couches and a fireplace.
Rooms were nice, clean, wi-fi, and TV. Front desk was friendly. Security on grounds. Do to COVID didn’t have breakfast but did provide a bag with a muffin, water, and apple sauce. Room had coffee. My biggest complaint was the major smell of marijuana coming from the rooms. Not good for small children. It’s smelled like a concert had just gone on.Other than that it was a place to stay for the evening.
The room was in a perfect spot close to State Farm arena, Olympic park, and right next to Mercedes Benz arena. The hotel was lit up and felt safe. It was beautiful inside and out. The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were spacious and CLEAN. The mattresses, pillows, and down covers were so comfortable. This is hands down the best price in this area and honestly they should charge more. You can tell rooms have recently been updated. Highly recommend.
Overall clean and great front desk support. Rooms were small, but clean. Wifi was over tasked and difficult to get good service on. I went to cellular. We were for the Chick-Fil-A kickoff game and hotel was fully booked. The breakfast area was crowded and hard to get to food and coffee due to the number of people staying at the hotel. Food was good, hot and plentiful. Staff supporting the food was super helpful and friendly. Location was great to Mercedes Benz Stadium. Parking included, but difficult to navigate parking lot, but a plus for the city and location. Front desk staff was great, but with so many people staying, they were busy and it was difficult to get questions answered when I needed. I was expecting this.
Everything was clean and spacious. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast options. Beds were soooooo comfy. Pet friendly. But the only issue I have to complain about is the water pressure in the shower. Its so low it took forever just to rinse out the shampoo in my hair.
The hotel was better than expected for a Choice Hotel. Great renovations, updates and modernization. The decor was nice, room, bed and linen comfortable. The home style cooked breakfast food was great, especially the potatoes. The breakfast attendants were outstanding, very attentive, nice and professional. Very clean hotel. It was in great proximity to CAU campus and parking was free! There was however a strange smell in the hallway corridors.
Nice spacious rooms and friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast is pretty decent too. The rooms are clean and parking is free, although the lot is quite small. Within walking distance of the Mercedes-Benz stadium. Reasonably priced. Depending on the room, it can be a bit noisy, but nothing major. I had a king-sized room once and the bathroom was the size of a closet. The tiniest little sink and there was a sliding door and no lock. All in all, pretty solid hotel to stay in when in Atlanta.Side note: the restaurant next door is pretty good too.
CP checked us in and was very nice. He recommended that we check out the restaurant across the parking lot and showed us a menu. It looked great, decent prices and options. Unfortunately we got tied up in our room and missed the opportunity to eat, they closed at 9pm. Nothing in the area other than burger king. The room was decent. There was a big closet in the room, walk-in style that seemed like a waste of space (but a nice place to put suitcases) and the bathroom was a little small, but overall it was just fine for what we needed. There was a table/desk area which was nice because we needed to set up my computer and deal with future hotel issues in Savannah so having that work area was a plus. There was a fridge and microwave, tv, etc. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. Breakfast was good: eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, toast, oatmeal, fruit, juices, coffee and the attendant was very nice. Overall the hotel was good. The area was a little weird but away from congestion/traffic and the noise wasnt bad. The lady who checked us out the next morning, Patrice, was also very nice. We would totally stay here again. The only real complaints: (1) it took a while for the hot water to kick in when we needed to wash our hands and shower and (2) the floor really needed some vacuuming so we felt the need to keep our shoes on until bed, and then kept our socks on.
I experienced completely unprofessional service on 5/20/2021. The desk clerk said, you do not get special rates for choice membership. I was insulted by his demand for my ID and credit card, which I already had out and ready to give him. He rolled his eyes at me after everything I said and insisted that I reserve the room online to get the membership price. Common decency is expected from customer service. Please have him read this email.
Loved the location, extremely close to Mercedes Benz Stadium. Conveniently located in the same spot as the highly rated Paschals restaurant. Rosies, is also a great spot to eat and is less than a minute drive up the street. Rooms are for the most part updated, but definitely could use a little but more tlc. Wifi is great and had no issues with signals. Staff all seemed very pleasant and always made sure you were good. If you had concerns or needed suggestions they never failed you.I would stay here again and had no major issues with this hotel. My only issue, which really wasnt that serious, would be the paint touch ups, proper installation of fixtures (my toilet roll holder wasnt screwed in to the wall properly and completely fell off), and closer detail on cleanliness in areas that are hidden.
Food was awesome. The lady working the breakfast was very polite. The rooms were not very updated. Paint pealing off ceiling in bathroom. Floor above us squeaked and popped when the tentants walked around. And they did til 4:30 am. Once again food was awesome. I loved the bacon.
AWFUL. do not stay here. Our room was not cleaned before we got there. There was hair in the sheets and on the tables. The floors were dirty and the most disturbing part was the greasy hand prints on the bathroom wall. I wish I could add pictures. We asked for new sheets and they said they would bring them in 5 minutes and 30 minutes later we had to go down to the lobby and get them ourselves. I literally debated on whether I should sleep in my car or the room.
It was a nice area, great price, but smoking weed and cigarettes in the building is not good. People leaving trash in the elevators not good. Rooms need to be handled with proper cleanliness. We want be staying here again. I would Recommend to family or friends that dont mind this type of environment, the staff was polite.
The hotel is in a very dodgy area, but the site and room itself is very nice. The building and rooms look to be all recently updated and spacious for the price. The complimentary breakfast was actually exceeded my expectations. Although the front desk staff were far from friendly and welcoming and the parking is extremely limited, the hotel’s proximity to all of Atlanta’s major attractions as well as the comfort level of the room is well worth it. Great value!
I just needed a place to park, sleep and shower and this was terrific! The rooms were older but clean and newly decorated. The bathroom and closet were very large and everything was clean. The bed was as comfortable as a five star hotel. Breakfast was delicious, parking was free and it was a short walk from my conference. I would definitely stay again.
Zero!!!! Worse place I have ever had to stay I really want all my money back an not just a discount i was given three different rooms and all were disgusting they really need to purchase new linens. Hire better house keeping. Blood stains and makeup stained linens and looks as if staff are hanging out in supposed cleaned rooms.
We were pleasantly surprised. Affordable prices with breakfast included located close to downtown. The stamp was very friendly and the rooms were quite spacious. We would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint is that the ramp to the front of the building is not conveniently located and you have to carry your bags up the stairs to the front of the building.
Appearance of the hotel and parking are great. There was an attendant during the day at the gated lot. Hotel appears average to upscale. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are the highlight. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The room was huge, but oddly laid out. Most of it was empty with no usable furniture. The bed was very comfortable but my sheets were not clean, appeard to have makeup and hair on them and I had to have them replaced. The duvet was not clean and I took it off the bed completely. The headboard was not clean. The hallways and room smelled clean and appeared clean but not sure the bedding had been changed. I travel ALOT and inspect my room before I stay. I looked for bed bugs and didnt see anything that alarmed me. I will travel with my own bedding from now on.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they took the extra mile to help one out. The room was clean and spacious and the cleaning staff kept it in perfect order the duration of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the people serving it and cleaning the tables were very sweet and worked hard to keep up with the large crowd!
This experience has been terrible. As soon as you walk in the hotel, it reeks of marijuana. Our room was disgusting, the couch had white stains all over it, hair ALL THROUGHOUT the bed and overall looked like it was wiped down with a wet napkin and deemed “clean”. Been waiting an hour just for sheets and a comforter. Currently, sitting on the desk as I type this, since everything else is covered in human DNA and we can’t get decent service.
My daughter and I stayed here in July when we went to the MonstaX concert. Really large room, so clean and roomy. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and go out of their way to assist you and make your visit perfect in every way. Nice location, clean inside and out. All the staff throughout the hotel are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed the surrounding access to certain eateries. This was a convenient location with out paying the exaggerated price of staying in Downtown. The prices were fair and they didnt have over rated extras like paying for daily parking fees when you are a guest and paying to stay at the hotel.
My husband and I stayed for the Super Bowl and enjoyed it. The rooms were small but nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was great, too! There is a restaurant in the parking lot that we tried that was good (a bit pricey) but overall good. It was super close to Mercedes Benz Stadium and we were able to walk back after the game.
I wouldve gave more stars because ive stayed there previously and had a goodStay. But this visit had several issues. Had problems w room card randomly stop working two times therefore I couldnt get into building from parking area or room! Then I didnt have enough towels in room& no rags.. when I requested towels&rags I was told they had a very busy weekend and they had none !!! What? Where do they do that?? 😂 was told theyd get some to me ASAP but didnt get anything until hours before check out... thank goodness I think ahead on trips and I had some from home in car. The proximity to all the arenas is great! And the room was clean but found couple hairs in my made bed...I really hope it was from the house keeper making the bed.🤔🤔 over all with exception of the few issues I had a good stay. 😊
Well where do I begin. When checking in, they had a line of 8 people waiting to check in, and other guests with issues (one got assigned a room that already had a guest in it). I waited over 35mins to check in, which almost made us late for an event we came to town for. There was no trash bags in the trashcans. There was no towels, when i requested for some all they had was hand towels but would let me know when regular towels were available! Guess what, I never got regular size towels. Breakfast line was a joke in the morning, they deff need two waffle makers. The biggest issue is they charged me twice for the same stay and a manager hasnt gotten back to me! NOT COOL! It didnt help their computer system was down at check out, so I couldnt see my bill/charge when I checked out.The only good thing was the night shift guy walked me to my car in the middle of the night to make me feel safe. The room was otherwise nice, but customer service was poor.
Hotel looks great from online pictures but once we settled into The RoomPlace it became apparent that it was disgusting. It had bugs in the bed! Old food on the walls and floor but personally for me the worst part was the bugs in the bed. Additionally; there was *purple* hair in the shower along with what looked like someone’s Caucasian beard hair.
I dont like to write reviews, but I always look for them lol. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful!!! Room was huge and CLEAN (plus, plus, plus)!!! Food was good. Very comfortable!! Noise was not an issue. Elevator was slow. Had no issues with parking during the week, however, due to the people parking from the restaurant on the same lot, had parking trouble on the weekend, but it wasnt too bad. Security was on site later to redirect those from the restaurant. Overall, my stay was wonderful. Glad I booked. I was worried because of the reviews, but needed to be close to downtown. I was not disappointed. Again, Im glad I booked.
Manager was very rude toward customers and staff. The hotel charge me double every night toward my bank account. Took 10 business days to get it resolved which left me in awkward bind. The assistant manager Brittany was awesome and so was the front desk receptionist Patrice. They we’re very helpful including the young lady Tee. Communication skills were very up to par. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was amazing.
My company was booking rooms for a convention downtown and by the time it came for me to get a room all the expensive places downtown were booked. I did a little bit of searching and found this Clarion on the other side of the Convention Center. The price was great, there was a room available and I took it.The lobby was a little small but very nice and everybody working up front was super nice. When I got up to my room I was blown away. It was huge. Two full beds, separate sitting room and two bathrooms. And everything was nice. No broken fixtures, no tile coming off the wall, no stains on the carpet. It was immaculate. And modern. Overall, one of the nicest hotel rooms Ive ever stayed in.
The stay at Clarion was an adventure. I had to wait 30 minutes in line just to check-in. After getting checked in, neither key worked, so back to the line to get keys fixed. The room was nice and spacious. We requested a rollaway when we booked the room. We did get it at 2:30 a.m. At 6:00 a.m. we had a fire alarm and had to evacuate. The only complaint with the room is the sink in the bathroom. It was tiny! It was like a sink at the dentist office. Breakfast was a disaster on our second day. There was no food, drink, etc. We waited over twenty minutes and ONE person tried to restock everything while she was working front desk. Needless to say, we did not eat here on that day. The staff, for the most part, was friendly and helpful. There was just not enough of them for such a busy weekend. I did appreciate that they gave us a discount on our stay. The place is in a great location and with a few changes it could be a great place to stay!
The hotel is very nice, welcoming, and set at a good price. with the restaurant next-door and the Mercedes-Benz stadium down the street, there are so many landmarks nearby. The only problem I have ever had at this hotel is the lack of hot water during showers, so it’s great to map out when you’re going to take a shower around when less people would not be showering (late night early morning). Also, the elevator is a bit dated and could use maintenance. The hotel and staff are very nice and make the stay worth it, every time.
Big room and nice area near downtown. Front desk super nice. Nonetheless, I asked for a no smoker room, and the first thing I smelled when I enter the room was cigarettes. In addition, I moved a chair and found garbage (an empty bag of lay’s chips with a can inside, with a cigarette inside the can). Extremely nasty. Obviously, the room was not properly cleaned. Do not recommend.
The place smelled of weed. The bathroom doorknob was falling off and the toilet tissue holder was broken. There was rust on the base of the lamp. The appliances were old and filthy. There was some type of insulation coming from the top of bathroom door and the shower was small with no where to hold your your soap or shaving items. The room was very dated.
Room smelled strongly of air freshener like they were covering up something in the room. AC unit was leaking on the floor so that could have been the issue. Overall we had a great stay other than the smell. Everything was clean! Security guard was always around which made us feel safe!
My stay started off rocky. I came to the hotel to check in at 3 and was told my room was not ready. The front desk rep very pleasant stated room will be ready in 20 minutes and it wasn’t. My husband and I left and went to go get something to eat. I received a call at 5:00 pm that my room was now ready. When we arrived at the hotel I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes to check-in. Nice hotel great food for breakfast but check-in needs to be better.
The stay so far has been great. The bed is super comfortable and breakfast is delicious. AC/Heat works great I cant speak to room service as I normally turn it down. I would like a little more pressure in the shower, but its not worth docking a star. I look forward to the rest of my stay.
After standing in a check-in line for 45 minutes, I finally got my room keys and walked up stairs because someone was stuck in the elevator. My room keys didnt work. I went back to the line, waited another 25 minutes, went back up the stairs, and finally unlocked my room. There was no toilet paper or towels. I went back downstairs to get these items. Finally, we settled in around 1 am. About 6:30 am, the fire alarm went off. It actually went off several times over the course of the morning. In addition, there was no hot water and the water pressure was very weak. I finally had hot water around 4 pm that day and was able to shower. I had to leave my daughters games to come back to the hotel to shower. Over the course of our two night stay, my room was never serviced and I never received clean towels. We functioned on the towels that I managed to scrounge up the night we arrived. Additionally, there was a layer of dust on all of the furniture and lamps in the room. Breakfast was served at least ten minutes late and was lacking in supplies and necessary items both mornings. In my opinion, this hotel was grossly mismanaged. All of the problems illustrated a lack of planning and administration. The hotel failed in the primary purpose of a hotel, which is to offer a comfortable nights rest in a clean room, hot shower, and a breakfast. The fire alarm kept us from sleeping, we werent able to shower, and the breakfast was late and not well stocked.
We picked this hotel for its location and The Choice brand. However the room was much smaller than I had ever stayed in before. The bath was nice enough except that the sink was no bigger than an 8 1/2n x 11 piece of paper. Water got all over. Food was okay, not great but satisfactory. Still, great location.
The location was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating! The room was dirty on our arrival, slippers left from previous guest, comforter and cover has large stains on them, both beds. Bathroom was not cleaned not stocked. Room phone was out of order. Peep hole scratched to completely block view.
This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The noise level was horrible! The staff was rude and not personable at all. There were people running through the halls on the floor above our room. We called down to the front desk every night complaining but nothing was done. Maintenance came to fix the phone he had to go behind the bed once he fixed the phone there was old bacon behind the bed which did not belong to us (I have pictures). The pillows on the bed were dirty. We stay at this hotel Friday - Sunday. We didn’t get any new linen, our room was not cleaned by the hotel staff, we drank out of the glasses that the hotel provides for during our stay and those were never replaced so we had to drink out of the same glasses all weekend. I will never book this hotel again it was awful
Stayed last year was excellent, smaller room this year.maybe update bedding or have staff wash spreads more often, had some loud room. Neighbors but staff took care of it. Overall I would stay again and may have just been an over sight of bedspread. Removed it and left it for staff to pickup and told front desk. 2 ND stay there
The stay was just for 1 night. The room itself was comfortable. You can definitely tell there were some improvements done, but attention to detail was missing. There were paint chips inside the wall unit for the heat. Paint markings on the bathroom door, and dust under the bathroom sink. Overall great stay for an overnight trip.
Staff was awesome, free parking, and good water pressure in the shower made it a huge win! The room was a little interesting, crooked flaucet, half installed toilet paper holder that fell apart when I went to use it. Upstairs neighbors woke me up in the middle of the night, but cant fault the hotel for that.
Hotel was surprisingly closed to the Mercedes-Benz stadium than I thought. You can walk there if you wanted to. Better to walk than deal with the traffic. Parking was a bit of a hassle because the hotel is next to a buffet place I think. Compared to other hotels near downtown, the parking was free here. Overflow parking was across the street. I can’t say if the bed was right or not. I personally think it was too firm. Breakfast was nice. Had several options. Eggs, turkey sausage, bacon. Over all I would stay again especially if I have an event in the downtown area.
Basic comfort. Bed is comfortable. The lift is functional but scary. Breakfast was very limited with average quality items, but I guess you get what you pay for. It was filling though. Coffee is good. Staff are very polite and helpful. Good night sleep, which is really what is essential
Hotel is located very close to Atlantas new Mercedes Benz stadium/arena, making it an excellent choice for sports fans. However, the price more than doubled on weekend nights that coincided with sports events. For those driving, the hotel had ample parking. But for those attending conferences or other events in the downtown (Peachtree) area, this hotel is not particularly close. The walk from the hotel to the nearest rapid transit (MARTA) station is not particularly close and I did not feel comfortable walking that far at night. The room was very clean and relatively spacious. The breakfast was hearty. The staff was very friendly. The hotel decor was just okay.
We and my buddies checked a room for the recent Convention 4 days ago, for the 4-day weekend of course! The whole experience was fantastic! Room felt pretty modern, clean. Beds were great, woke up like new each morning. They offer free breakfast which was okay. I didnt get to try out their lunch and dinners because, again we was at the convention.Id Recommend
The hotel is very dusty and dirty very small, the elevator door almost close my hand inside. I was booked a king room and I received a clean room so I was unhappy with my check in. Once I arrived in my room my tub was dirty and my sink was broke, it smelled like someone was smoking in my room prior before. I was very unsatisfied
My husband booked this hotel. By coincidence, its the same one I chose for my mom and sister, just a few months ago. It was even better the 2nd time! The room was long, and very spacious. From arrival to the checkout at breakfast, the service was fantastic! The cherry on top, we walked to the stadium in minutes. 😆
This hotel was located very close to the Mercedes Benz and State Farm arenas! It was clean. The staff was so nice and the complimentary breakfast was actually good compared to my other stays at other hotels. Lastly, the front desk associate helped me out with Tums at 4am! No other hotel has ever been so accommodating! Thank you!!
Patrice at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during our entire stay. She suggested certain places to go and spoke to me and my son every time she saw us. The location of the hotel was very convenient to activities we had planned downtown. Breakfast was good and hot every morning. Overall good stay
It’s a smaller hotel and there wasn’t very many staff working. Our first room did not have a working tv and with a two year old we needed a tv for him. It took 30 mins to get switched to a new room which pushed back our plans. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was okay. Our issues were the coffee machine was broken and they offered cereal but no spoons. Also, with the restaurant and the banquet hall there were not a lot of parking available for hotel residents. But the staff was very helpful and nice and were always talking to the guests!
Comfortable and affordable. Beds are nice and fell asleep pretty fast (big plus), room was big enough to relax in and very clean (no bad odor on carpet), seems like a newly remodeled hotel, internet/ WiFi access was simple and strong, friendly and helpful hotel staff, morning breakfast was good downstairs, pets were quiet in other rooms across the hall(didnt hear them barking thank God). This is within walking distance (2 blocks) of the NFL Football stadium if look for a close and affordable hotel, aquarium and tourist areas are near (within a 1 mile radius). Great location!! Able to finish my business stuff quickly and enjoy downtown some because of the location.
This hotel is convenient to downtown Atlanta but is in need of updating. The staff does not seem to care about the customer but is more interested in not providing any amenities to the customer. I was told straight out that coffee was not offered in any capacity any more.
Comfortable, friendly staff, great restaurant just across the parking lot (Paschals). Breakfast wasnt too bad. Could use a little more TLC. Looked like our specific room had been broken into in the past and the door jam/frame was all broken up. Otherwise it suited our needs.
Stayed for a long weekend. Woman who checked us in was fantastic-all the employees we had contact with were great! Room was clean but much smaller than expected and I would request not to stay in immediately outside the elevator, but overall it was a good value for the money.
We travel to Atlanta regularly foe Atlanta United soccer games and stay at this hotel due to its proximity to the stadium. Staff is always friendly and breakfast is very good. Love the waitress who has been there since we started using this hotel. Only complaint is the noise you hear while in your room. Walls are too thin and not insulated from noise above and below.
Great location if you’re visiting a HBCU or attending the Mercedes Benz stadium: both locations are walking distance from the hotel. It’s not a five star hotel and the neighborhood looks like it’s in that “gentrification” phase, but they have a great price and excellent customer service. The cleaning crew did our room and laid out my girls teddy bears on the sheets for bedtime. It’s a minimal effort, but that small act had a big impact on my girls (and their transition to bedtime). The room was clean and parking was secure.
I chose this hotel because it was close to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We were able to walk to the stadium which was a plus. The hotel was very crowded the weekend we were there and for the first two nights we had no hot water. I finally got them to move us to a different room and at least had hot water but the water pressure in this hotel is awful. I could barely rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The employees were friendly and tried to help with the water situation by switching our rooms. When we checked out they did give us 10% off of our first two nights since we didn’t have hot water. Also when we switched rooms the maid had left a pile of dirty towels in the room. The next day when she came and cleaned our room she also left another pile of dirty towels in the bathroom floor.
The hotel is a great hotel. It is a older hotel that looks to be remodeled. All the staff was great and all our needs were met. Also free parking which is great considering in Atlanta you have to pay for parking at most hotels. The o my thing that needs to be addressed is the pot smoking while the employees are at work and the way the reins are set up and the bathroom in this room we stayed it was so small that if you leaned forward on the toilet you hit your head on the sink.
At first I was amazed with the size of this room and bathroom (#305). Then I realized it was handicap friendly, and likely larger than the other rooms. Nonetheless I enjoyed my presidential suite, and am likely to inquire about it in the future. Walking distance to downtown.
Clarion had been my preferred hotel of choice during my frequent visits to Atlanta, the price was reasonable, and the rooms were spacious and clean. But how quickly did it go downhill, the lobby , the rooms, the hallways, elevators, housekeeping etc, has declined sharply. I will certainly find another hotel to stay during my trips to Atlanta.
BEWARE! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and would never stay there again. The staff really need hospitality training as a few of them are complete liars. They do not clean the rooms daily even on request. There from a Friday - Monday, room not cleaned, crumbs in the hallway and room the day we arrived until we left. There was MOLD in the shower and after mentioning this to the staff it still was not cleaned. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!
Overall poor. Thin walls and we were able to hear conversations of other guest. The room above of sounded like a herd of elephants due to wooden floors. Front desk staff was kind but not knowledgeable of Choice rewards, etc. Very small and stuffy. Rooms were large, 2 bathrooms in a room. Sitting area away from beds was nice.
The facility has been upgraded, so that was a plus. The breakfast food was above par. The desk clerk was efficient, but was not very personable. The location was close to my business appointment. The cost was more than I wanted to pay. I could have stayed at other Choice Hotels in the general area, but all of them...one in particular... had stipulations that I could not agree with in principle. Why should a regular Choice Hotel patron such as me be required to pay a $200 fee for incidentals, to be refunded to my credit card in 7-10 business days?? That just doesnt set well with me. The Clarion had no such requirement.
Chose this hotel for a quick overnight stay for a concert at nearby Mercedes Benz Stadium. Unfortunately, our early morning wake up call was a stranger using his key and entering our room. Upon immediately reporting the incident to the front desk to see that any duplicate keys to our room are deactivated, the front desk clerk kept saying it wasnt her personally that did it. Would not take ownership for their horrific mistake. Would not own up to the error, try to remedy their mistake or offer any consolation. Front desk lady mentioned it could have been a hotel painter the key was giving to but she cant be sure? And just as we were settling back to bed from our room invasion, they seem to have maintenance outside in the courtyard with the Blowers going early morning outside the guest room windows. Decided just to go ahead and check out due to the fact that we couldnt get any sleep and our room key seems to have been compromised with sadly no chance of a remedy. The only reason I did decide to give one star was because of a great location and also the night crew and security officer seemed friendly. Bad overall experience and rude morning desk clerk. Great location, poor customer service.
Recently stayed at the Clarion, the location was good however dirty sheets and holes in the sheet not to mention the ac unit in the room not working was awful. Though the sheets were changed out, the ac unit not working was not good and we were moved to another room only to have a bathroom sink the size of a shoe box. I requested a room with a larger sink as that is what I booked based on the photos online and was yet again moved. Moving rooms several times was a true inconvenience not to mention the clerk requesting pictures of the sheets since I advised that they were dirty. I provided pictures and housekeeping arrived to change the sheets but this stay was not very good. Not sure that I would recommend as a first choice if going to the Atlanta area.
My friend and I stopped at this hotel after a concert.. We used the lobby to wait for our uber. We were 2 of several but were treated kindly by the staff. (It was a very cold evening and traffic was at a standstill). We had an opportunity to watch the hotel office staff and were impressed. They were helpful to us and the guests. We regret not knowing about this hotel when, booking our stay for the concert( we booked a much higher hotel and had a terrible experience).
This hotel was very convenient to the downtown sports and concerts venues. However, there is much work needed to smooth out the process. While we were checking in, we witnessed at least 8 fellow travelers be turned away because they had booked with a 3rd party, and the hotel was overbooked. We also waited over an hour for a room to be available, which was not the king suite we had reserved.Once we checked in, the room was not cleaned to normal standards, but we lived with it because we were grateful that we were not one of many that were out looking for another hotel to stay in.
Booked the room 5 months in advance but when arrived there was only a choice of two rooms. The one recommended was next to the kitchen and I was warned that there might be some noise early in the morning. Was not prepared for being woken at 5am by tremendous banging and crashing next door. No more sleep possible!Complained to management and was given another room straight away, this was much nicer and quieter. Thanks Krysta! Have to compliment her for the prompt resolution of the problem but am surprised that with 5 months notice there was only a choice of two sub standard rooms especially as I am an Elite member since 2015.
The rooms are very small, it was hair on my bed the bathroom was not clean it had used shampoo and soap in the bathroom and ants where all over the bed. They changed my room to a smaller room that was even smaller then the room i was in DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WOULDNT GO BACK IF IT WAS FREE IT WAS SO NASTY. The sofa was stained the table was cracked up. Its a Dump -1rating.

2022-05-29The front desk people know their stuff! They are very helpful during the check in process. I wasnt pleased to have to pay $20 for parking for a night but they made the process easy and triple checked to make sure we didnt get towed on accident. Security was clearly visible for much of the night. The room was simple and mostly clean - the parts that mattered the most were certainly clean enough. I honestly love the tiny sink! The breakfast tasted DELICIOUS and was well stocked and monitored, especially the potatoes, eggs, sausage, and grits. All of it was lovely. Check out was a breeze too.

2022-01-03Unprepared for large parties - rooms were not ready until 5:30, check in was at 3:00pm . Lack of supplies and bedding in rooms and for extra beds. Lock didnt work on bathroom door, closet door doesnt shut. Another room had a sprinkler hanging from its wires. Breakfast was slow and unprepared for the amount of people using the hotel. Packaged room coffee was the only coffee available.Staff was kind but apathetic. What we paid was not what we should have received. Ac/heat units dirty. No do not disturb signs. Lack of towels per people in room. We were happy to have a place to stay for a large event in ATL but expected to have rooms prepared, enough food, proper bedding and towels, and non-hazardous infrastructure. There was plenty of room for parking. Showers have good pressure and hot.

2022-01-15Staff very friendly, rooms a really nice size. No falling over suitcases and stuff. Clean. Needed a bit of updating but seriously much happier at that hotel then the size and cleanliness of the one we had to get this year in Atlanta for the price

2022-05-23Excellent location for staying when walking to Mercedes Benz stadium! Hotel has been updated, but we stayed in room #108 this past weekend for 2 nights. Our refrigerator did not work, they placed work order but nobody ever came to check it or even check in with us! We had to ice down items we brought with us the entire weekend. Also, our room had major humidity issues. All of the new lamps the have placed in the room are rusting due to the high humidity. The bathroom door would not close due to the humidity, and needs to be replace because it’s damaged from people forcing it shut and open. Also, the bathroom floor stayed wet our entire stay as well as the end tables in the room. Carpet was also wet and damaged from bathroom door dragging across it. Will stay again at this hotel, but will not stay on ground level.

2021-12-19I found the hotel very adequate for my needs. They have no control over what goes on in the surrounding neighborhood and honestly the area has improved from what it used to be. There was a visible security presence at night in front of the entrance. The staff were very nice my only real complaint was the price as I stayed on a Saturday and paid top dollar.

2022-04-06This place could be so great. In fact, when I stayed here a few years ago, it was. Relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the area and free parking. Now, the parking is no longer free, it’s $22/night. Additionally, it seems like there has been little to no maintenance done in the 6 or so years since I last stayed. The hotel smells damp and sour like a poor basement or something. To try to cover this up, there’s overpowering air freshener in all public places. The first night we stayed in a room with 2 queens. Everything looked, at minimum, hygienic. Not like super clean (smear marks on glass/headboard look greasy) but clean enough not to completely gross me out. The second night we moved to a larger 2 Queen suite with a pull out. The room was more comfortable size wise but this one was just dingy. Spots on the sofa, Debris on the bathroom floor. Super tiny sinks, one of which looked like it might fall off. The place just looks like it needs a deep clean. A little TLC. When I asked for housekeeping to come back, I was told they were gone for the day. It looks like the owners just decided to pay a 15 year old to haphazardly throw some paint up on the wall instead of doing any real repairs. Shame really because the workers are super nice and helpful.

2022-04-27Good location. Lady working in the dining room area was not helpful, or pleasant. Tub is slick and we both almost fell down when we took our showers. Parking was not good. You will be told to park across the street when it gets full but be aware the weekend security guy (tall, knit hat, heavyset) not the man with the braids who worked during the week because we saw him out there working. The weekend guy had 6 cones around his car so it couldnt be driven away without having to move them. Not safe to park across the street.

2022-06-18Alexsis made our check in effortless and made us feel very welcome. She helped us get situated with parking and we were checked in in less than two minutes. The hotel staff was great and helped me retrieve a vest I left in the closet of our room. The hotel is walking distance to the Mercedes Benz center and made going to see Coldplay super easy!Breakfast is great and the gym has some nice machines. Thanks Alexis and staff!

2022-04-08Positive: The staff were outstanding and accommodating which s pretty much the only reason we stayed. Ended up leaving early the second day deciding fighting the storm was more comfortable than the smell of the place. Great location. Negative: Smell, dirty, a bit ran down. Could use a good deep clean and simple maintenance like air filter changes. Everyone you see if filthy.

2022-05-15Ive visited here before about 2-3 years ago. It was really nice then. Now, the place has a weird wet smell and the rooms are not too clean. The top cover was stained on one of our beds. Its not terribly dirty, just not CLEAN.
