I love this gym! I have been a member for the past 10 years and I have had many wonderful experiences there. The staff is awesome and they treat me just like family. Karen, who manages the front desk, is so knowledgeable and helpful when I have workout questions. I love their new crossfit area and the new row machines. Also, my children took swimming lessons there for three summers and the instructors, Mrs. Sheri and Mrs. Julie, are the best! I love to begin each morning with an awesome workout at Club Fitness!
Terrific gym! I went with a friend and was very impressed at the modern equipment they had and the square footage of the facility. So many treadmills lined up with ellipticals too. Large pool for laps or classes, a hot tub and a lovely outdoor terrace for sun bathing. The best part was to end a work out with a sit in the huge sauna. Clean large showers & changing rooms. Near University of West Georgia.
Great location between university and square and behind city schools. Easy, quick in and out. Awesome lap pool. Decent cardiovascular machines. Totally adequate free weights. Friendly people who say hi 95% of the time. Free childcare and tanning. Extensive hours. Great vibe. Nice locker rooms. Good for all ages and abilities. Oh, and has great group fitness offerings....biking, weights, step, Crossfit-style, etc. If youre serious about working out, come here. If you are serious about newness and interior design, try the other gym in town.
The classes are a great way to get in that quick 30 minute or hour workout. Between a full time job and 3 kids its hard to make time but Club Fitness makes it so easy! The classes are for absolutely any fitness level. I am so excited to see results each time i look in the mirror. I couldnt do it without the fun and energetic trainers!
Good price for visitors and good price for seniors to attend the gym, but would like lifeguards at least two or three working and two at a time. Its not all about the watching people in the pool, its preventing situations like drowning due to health reasons like hearts attacks, strokes, asthma attacks. Not all are certified to be able to save someone who gets a back injury while in pool. Lifeguards are needed not just people certified in CPR, first aid and AED. Thank you
I absoultly love this gym!!! It has a wide variety of workout equipment and classes.Thier classes are awesome and really gives you a great workout. The yoga with the instructor Justin is great and the classes with Rhonda and Reese will really help you get into shape. Its definitely the best gym Ive ever been too.
This club looks like a professional one when you come for the first time, and afterward you will discover that nobody around you to help you for anything. No cleaning, no friendly accommodation. They treat their customer badly; they are not flexible at all. I do not recommend this club at all for anyone; you need to deal with nice flexible people, clean place. They only care about getting money out of it. The worse club I have ever joined. I like this comment This gym has some of the worst business practices out of a company imaginable.... Places like this should be boycotted until business owners learn that treating people in a reasonable manner is the only way to do business. I hope it happens soon so they can learn how to run business. Believe or not before talking to the manager and the financial person, I was little fine coming to the gyme and continue because of my contract, but after talking to these two person, I feel if they make this place for free, I would not go...
This gym has some of the worst business practices out of a company imaginable. I signed up for a one year membership, quit going here after a month because the equipment was never cleaned and their was no Mens locker room(It was under construction at the time, although I never saw any progress being made). I tried to reach a reasonable conclusion with the staff but was told I was under contract and I had to deal with it. So after a year of being charged $40 a month, I contacted CF to ensure that no more bank withdraws would be made. Only to be informed my one year membership was actually a two year membership with a Cancellation Option but I had missed that window of time by a week and would be charged for another year. I tried to talking to anyone and everyone to reach some reasonable conclusion only to be hung up on by a manager. Now I receive a notice from an attorney regarding $2,400+ that I somehow owe to Club Fitness? $2,400 for a $40 a month gym membership? Places like this should be boycotted until business owners learn that treating people in a reasonable manner is the only way to do business.
I havent been in the gym in years! I thought would dread it. I get social anxiety pretty bad and just no longer enjoyed working out. Ive had a great experience so far! I actually took the Pound class. It was so much fun. Joey Cochran is an energetic and awesome teacher!
I use this gym two or three weeks out of the year. I have bought memberships for my grandchildren and have never been cheated as other reviewers mention. My gym back where I live just added wifi so I wasnt expecting wifi but wifi is always nice. Glad to know they have it now. I have found the staff to be friendly, the week membership to be reasonable, the gym to be clean. I enjoy the classes as well. I would have given it 5 stars but the other reviews made me consider the gym more critically. The 5 star gym in my city has tennis courts, many pools, wifi etc. and a huge price tag.
SUPER COSTY TO LEAVE!!!To cancel you need to pay $50 PER PERSONplus they add a $25 charge per person for a late fee if you don’t give a 30 day notice of you leaving and you have to pay for that month you won’t be working out for.!! so if you do a year worth for one person it’s $100 to cancel for two people it’s $160! This gym is terrible!
Took our youngest daughter there for swimming lessons around the age of 6. The instructor took her to the other side of the pool out of my earshot and was dunking her under the water for her to get used to it (she said). I found out later she was crying the whole time and the instructor told my daughter if she didnt stop crying she would force me to leave the pool area, which of course would have never happened. After a good half hour of this they got near the ladder and my daughter grabbed it and came out of the pool screaming for me and I started towards her. I was on the other side of the pool and before I could get to her the instructor grabbed the back of my daughters swim trunks (pulling them down) to stop her from running to me and while walking behind her walked her off into the deep end of the pool causing my daughter to go under the water while not being in the instructors arms. About the time the instructor got my daughter back up and in her arms I was at the side of the pool and reached down and grabbed my little girl from this monster of an instructor. My daughter was absolutely hysterical, like I had never seen her. My oldest daughter had learned the year before from a different instructor there named Gail and did shed one tear. Gail would work with the kids at their own pace to get them over their fear of the water but this instructor wanted to force the fear out of them. Gail was more of a nurturer and this other instructor was more of a drill sargent. To add insult to injury she followed us to the dressing area and was waiting for us just outside the door when we got done dressing wanting her money for the lesson. She set us back months in teaching our daughter to swim. She wouldnt even go in a swimming pool the rest of the summer. I left at least 5 messages for the manager (Dawn I think, maybe Dana) without the first returned phone call. I thought she at least needed to know the different teaching styles between Gail and this new instructor and what we went through. After a couple of weeks of calling, I gave up. In reality I guess no one really cared. Poor oversite and customer care at this place. If you are going to advertise teaching kids to swim you have to make sure the people hire are up to the task and not ignore any possible complaints or suggestions.
Good gym at first until you realize the staff there are more dramatic than a highschooler who isn’t allowed to be out past 10 o’clock matter of fact the staff treats the business as a highschooler talking bad about costumers behind their backs, having group messages that talk down on their own staff members, This place is not professional what so ever take your money to One life fitness on the other side you won’t regret ;)

2022-01-14When you first walk in the atmosphere seems great. The equipment is reliable. I only give it 2 stars because the lady’s that work the front seat are beyond rude. They act like you’re bothering them when you ask for a drink. I misplaced my gym card. They charge you 5 dollars! Which is crazy I get it in a sense. I just can’t get over how they act like your a problem instead of a customer. I just started going too. I might just back out of my contract.

2022-05-26BEWARE OF SIGNING UP HERE. I moved and tried to contact the gyms manager and ABC multiple times to cancel my contract. I moved about 30 miles from the gym and that is just not convenient travel to work out. ABC told me that they could do nothing because the gym had to approve it and the gym did not. NOW I HAVE $614 IN COLLECTIONS ON MY CREDIT!!!!!!!!!

2021-08-16Karen is so so rude. Every single time I call up there she is so passive aggressive. Zero phone customer service. This place is not clean, staff is unable to do anything when you ask. One time a guy working said he couldn’t sign up my guest a membership because he just didn’t know how. WHAT? I was a GM of an Anytime Fitness for years before moving to Carrollton, and your staff should be able to do everything to operate the gym. Having members call ABC for anything to be done on their accounts instead of staff having access is crazy. Complete mess when it comes to communication. ABC says one thing, Club Fitness employees say another. At least everyone else is super nice, besides Karen. I’ve debated posting this a few times but today at a time of desperation for them to help me out, she was so rude. I’ll change my review if the owner actually takes time to call me back and works with me.

2021-10-27DOPE! gym I like the feeling you get when you walk in. The lay out of the gym is 🔥. By far my favorite gym. And I only had the 3 day pass, definitely going to be a member real soon.

2020-08-01This is a pretty good gym, they have a wide variety of exercise implements and helpful diagrams that show you how to use them. They have-- or used to have, not sure if they still have it-- a room just for women to work out if they feel uncomfortable working out with the general public. Pool is really nice, and they have programs and trainers. People who say this gym is the worst must either run a gym themselves and are competition or are related to someone who runs a gym. Theres only one complaint I have-- years ago the cleaning woman stole my wallet from my locker and even though people SAW her do it the staff refused to do anything about it.

2020-07-13I love going here, it is always clean. The front staff is so sweet. The instructors are all so helpful and will take time to answer your questions. I joined about 3 months ago and I am so glad I did. The instructors make exercise fun, not boring at all. The pool is wonderful, heated and has all kinds of exercises offered. And the hot tub is wonderful. Best thing I have done for myself in many years. So if you want to feel better physically, mentally, emotionally, I strongly recommend you give Club Fitness A Try. Prices Are Vsry Reasonable Also.
