DISHONEST ADVERTISING!I was very disappointed when I walked into my room and noticed the lack of a jacuzzi tub. It was the whole reason I picked this hotel. They show a jacuzzi tub in ALL their listings for kingsized rooms. Turns out they only have ONE in the hotel. On top of the that, the room’s non refundable.
The towels and clothes were stained and need to be thrown out and replaced, I was told I would be charged if I smoke in the room but the room already had a wet mold old smoke smell, customer service was great, pool was clean and location is convenient, So the room was clean but the bathroom tub needs to be redone the knob didn’t work properly. It was an okay visit for the short time I was there but if no up grades are made I will not be going back.
Wasn’t greeted when u arrived, by the front desk representative nor the workers that were walking around doing nothing entering the front desk area. When I finally got to the room it was horrible! Toilet dirty carpet not cleaned just really “wrinky dink” & “dingy”, down to the room doors, which were very worn out with pink streaks on almost all of them. Definitely did not stay I checked out right away didn’t even care for a refund !!!
This was the rudest staff the grossest pool, we are talking about milk colored water with hair and dead roaches floating around! The kids jumped in as I was walking in to the pool area! So nasty!!! The hotel has refused to give us our money back because we had the room for 10 minutes and someone say on the corner of the bed briefly! Our whole floor smelt like weed and cigarette smoke a guy was dealing out of 328 people were buying and carrying weed by the handful and carrying it past my kids room! There was rust colored spots on our sheets! Possibly bed bugs!!!!!Nasty mean staff!!!
Didnt enjoy my stay this time around. Stay here 4x previously. Except this time I had toilet issues, it would not stop running. Had to shut bathroom door for silence and peace. The desk clerk was no help. The last issue was check-in out. The clerk left the desk after speaking to the female before me telling her she thought she might be needing a receipt before check-in out but ignore me with my bags and room key cards in-hand. So rude and disrespectful. Same desk clerk from the toilet issue.
The people were nice and helpful. The room was acceptable. It had a fridge and microwave, hair dryer, etc. The temperature was comfortable. The biggest problem i had was the location. There was a median in front of the hotel so you could not turn left and if you missed your turn you had to go all the way, make a u turn, go down the other way and make a u turn. Traffic was too heavy for all that.
Excellent service and the rooms where clean and neat. The front desk clerk was very polite and professional and very pleasant. Only thing I wish ice was already in the room and add maybe some small bottle waters, because everyone doesnt drink coffee in the morning time. Other that those couple of things my stay was excellent. The smoking area should be closer for the people that smoke at the hotel just in case it rains, because people still smoke when it rains and that is an inconvenience to them to go down the elevator and then outside to smoke. I feel that it should be a closer designated area to smoke.
Stayed here due to Comfort Inn Brand, I have stayed at other Comfort Inns across the country and has always been satisfied with cleanliness, updated decor and value. This site is the total opposite, paid same price however received a dirty, run down room and sketchy people hanging around hotel and unprofessional customer service.
Room was good sized and temperature was comfortable, bed was made sloppy. Elevator needs a facelift. And bathroom was not cleaned well at all. 15% was left on the tp roll and left for us with the holder for the to was barely hanging on to the vanity. Also got to love the random assortment of pubes left on the tub top for us. Tighten up your game Comfort Inn...
I would definitely not recommend this hotel. This is the first time I’ve ever wrote a review but it’s bad enough to take the time! My fiancé and I stayed here recently. Just about every time we tried to talk to the front desk there was not anyone there. We had to wait 10+ Minutes for someone to acknowledge the fact that there was people waiting while I’m 7 1/2 months pregnant. Then when we was finally about to get someone’s attention most of the staff that we had contact with were super rude. When we booked the hotel it stated there was an outdoor pool and breakfast, it wasn’t until after we checked in, paid, and asked about those things that they told us it was not available. That should have been on the website or something because we definitely would have decided to go to another hotel. The hotel itself seemed dirty like it was never vacuumed or at least had the trash in hallways pick up. The drains in our hotel room took forever to drain. Including in the shower. When we tried to talk to someone about the drains and the toilet in the hotel room the woman literally said “what do you want me to do about it”. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had staying at a hotel. Things didn’t have to be perfect, but at least having nice considerate staff, and cleanliness would have been great!Completely unprofessional. Rude staff.Don’t waste your money, find a hotel that actually fits the descriptions with nice people who run it.
Overall the hotel and our 2 day stay was good. GREAT location. Friendly staff. It would have been all great if the WIFI worked and if the hallways didn’t smell like pee. Also, the pool water looked cloudy. It seems to me like the pool room needs to be ventilated. I am very sensitive and couldn’t stand being in that room for more than 30 minutes before feeling congested and itchy everywhere. Breakfast was awesome! Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and your other typical breakfast stuff... boiled eggs, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, sweet breads, cereal etc. We stay there again!
Our experience is always good at this location. The staff is very accommodating. The first visit, the room was really nice but the pool was out of commission and the breakfast was extremely limited after about 7:30 am. (it was Mothers Day and that was a bummer). A few months later, the staff is very accommodating, the room was average, but the pool was working and the breakfast was more expanded... Overall the place is neat and seems safe. A good location-- family oriented with easy access to food, shopping, and activities. Rooms/bathroom are decent and the beds are comfy. The ventilation system is noisy. The membership is a great advantage :) A good value.
This hotel is in a great location and has good amenities. I booked an efficiency room which has a large kitchen for the weekend. My kids and I felt at home and enjoyed nearby attractions. Moreover, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts as well as the indoor heated pool. Staff was always friendly and we had no issues with our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
My family and I would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Tikeria, breakfast staff. She made sure the food was hot, and she kept bringing out fresh food. She has great customer service skills and also very professional. Ms. Tikeria definitely made us feel right at home. Also, my family and I would like to thank the front desk staff for extended the pool time, so we could enjoy ourselves. The pool was closed for maintenance for awhile, but the staff was gracious enough to extend the time. We had a wonderful time at the pool.
Overall my stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the wired ethernet jack in the wall did not work, and neither the front desk or tech support was able to help or fix it. The WiFi worked and I had no other complaints about my stay. It was a good price, very comfortable bed, and my privacy was respected. I did not take advantage of the free breakfast, but it was available. Also I didnt use the pool, but it did appear fairly small and shallow.
We stayed at the Comfort in as a pass through for our vacation to Florida. The staff were great. The breakfast was good and filling. They have healthy options which is always nice to have. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I have no complaints about that. The only complaint I do have is that if we need to cancel our reservation we could not. To me that is not a very good policy to have. I tried to cancel 2 days ahead of time and still could not.
Overall, we had a good experience at this hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Big one for me, was the A/C worked well. Only negative thing I have to say about our stay is that the 2nd floor hallways smelled like cat urine on our day of arrival, but wasnt noticeable the following 2 nights.
Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Worst hot breakfast, so we ate cereal and juices. Desk staff inept and slow (except for one young man). Roof leaks water continuously into the pool. Workout room was closed for space to store many boxes. For the price we paid it was worth the stay just for the room but the amenities were less than average for this hotel chain.
My experience was wonderful. The building was clean, as was the room. Then ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. This place was nice to much like home. The breakfast was just great, there was a variety of food, I also used the exercise the room, and the pool. It was very relaxing. I could have just stayed in the room the whole time I was there,
The parking lot was a bit tricky late at night. There is a barrier to getting in. Staff was nice. Did need to request clean comforter. Breakfast was free. Simple but easy. I forgot my charger. Called back and they had it waiting for me at the desk. The price was increased for thanksgiving. We were there to see my son at Fort Benning. Not bc of thanksgiving. This was a bit annoying. But whatcha gonna do about that?!! Over all it was good experience and I would stay there again.
Called the reservations number to book a room for my kids and mother to take a pre-thanksgiving vacation. The reason we selected this hotel is that they told us we could get a room with a king bed that adjoined a room with 2 queen beds. When my mother arrived we were told that they had no such rooms, only king+king rooms and that it was more expensive than our reservation. The person at the front desk also said that my mother needed to pay with a credit card, despite the fact that I had called and set up payment by submitting the form the hotel required via email.Once I told my mother to leave if they couldnt find the prepaid from it was miraculously found. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that she would not be in until the following morning. I started calling at 8am, leaving several messages, and it wasnt until after lunch when I called again that the manager was there. She was able to confirm that the king with the adjoining king room was all they had, but also that it was actually cheaper than the king+2 queens that I booked.Had we known that this was the case we would have booked another hotel, and Comfort Inn did nothing to compensate us for making a false reservation, thus we will never stay at another one of their hotels. As Im writing this review I also see that they jacked up the room prices +$30 a night for the week before Thanksgiving. Thats rough. We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again.
We loved the location of this hotel and were very comfortable. However, the facility does need some updates. There were issues with hot water fluctuations during every shower and the back door did not seem secure. The linens were clean and comfortable but did show some old stains. All that aside, the location was perfect and the price very competitive. We would consider staying there again.
The service was great, but the room was misrepresented by pictures that are from when it was very first made. However, the room was in a much poorer condition than represented. The carpet was torn and coming up in places and the Jacuzzi rooms mirrors were beat up and the tub was not in the best of conditions.
Check in person is very rude. Ive been a choice privilege member for 10 years whats going on when a loyal member has to pay $200 deposit just because you want to pay with cash ridiculous I can see $100 but for a roach motel. The lady was and older black women with glass talk to me as though I was a crack head. And I delivery medical supplies all over the US
I stayed in this hotel twice and only went back because of the good service from one employee. The first time, the room we had been assigned was not clean. I had to call to get the room vacuumed, the bathroom cleaned, and new sheets on the bed. The employee that helped me was very nice and came right up to clean everything even though she wasnt house keeping. Later, I tried to use the wifi and it wouldnt connect on my MacBook or Iphone. I talked to the front desk and they said that apple products dont like their wifi The second time, we were assigned to a room that smelled like someone smoked in it right before we walked in. I talked to the front desk and they said they would have house keeping clean it really well the next day after we left. I asked if there was nothing else they could do and when she found out I had a toddler in the room she offered to move us rooms. We loved that the hotel had an indoor pool, but it was ice cold. I only got in to my waist because my son was so excited to go swimming, but he didnt make it longer than 5 minutes before he was shivering. I will not be returning.
It smelled weird in the halls, but not in the rooms, which, I guess, is something. About half the outlets didnt work, and the wiring on one was loose enough to make me sleep with one eye open. And for some reason the lobby was oddly dark. Wont be back to this location.
First I was running late from New York so I called and S/W Vickie who was very pleasant and was nice enough to note my reservations. Once we arrived we were checked in by Lakeisha with no problems who was pleasant and very professional with fast check in. The breakfast was hot with a variety of everything. One morning there were no scramble eggs only the patties Judy who works in this section went above n beyond and made scramble eggs on the spot for my husband which we greatly appreciated. Our housekeeper who was Shirley when something was needed she made sure we had it she was very pleasant to have on our housekeeping team. We have no complaints with our room it was clean and the bed and pillows were very Comfortable. On our last day for check out with Tabby J. she was soooo pleasant and held a whole conversation with us wishing us safe travels. The staff are all so kind and respectful. Our overall experience was excellent and I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
There is great parking. It was great room with quality bed and bath. The service was great. The location is great just off the interstate and close to event I attended. It was great pricing for the quality of the room. The room TV quality and size could be improved. The breakfast options could be expanded to include cooked oatmeal and grits and fresher eggs.
We came to stay on Thanksgiving day till Monday morning. Our daughters fiance was done with basic training and had family weekend. The hotel is close to the Military base.. The staff washed my hubbys Army jacket and nephews hoodie that got slobbers on from a near by safari. They did this free of charge. The breakfast was very good and the housekeepers kept coffee supplied in our room. The FREE WIFI worked well for us. Our room was clean. ONLY thing is I forgot to book Sunday night and I was trying to find a discounted rate. I called around and found a few cheaper. When I talked to the manager about a cheaper rate he took $5.00 off which I thought should of been more since I was already there 3 nights and Im a member. Before I could say ok to the rate the manager all ready booked it. The staff treated us kindly and did there best when the power went out 2 times on Sunday.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the amazing jacuzzi room. We were only there for the night due to an out of town family emergency and didn’t get to really enjoy that part. I do think the AC units need to be updated, it took forever to cool down our room and they appear dated. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has been a good value for us with breakfast, wi-fi, good bedding, and overall value. At first I had trouble logging on to the Wi-fi with my iPhone. But the receptionist was very helpful and I had no problems after that. I also appreciated being greeted in the hall by maintenance personnel.
Bedding and pillows had dirt marks like someone stepped on them... the tub didnt drain as you were showering.... pictures were ripped off the wall and holes just left... paint wore off the bathroom door... hallways smelled of marijuana... just overall not impressed, we slept and left
We got here and went to our room and the room smelled like weed and the air conditioner didn’t work. The front desk switched us no problem to another room that smelled like somebody died in it, the air conditioner worked a little bit better BUT it leaked and the floor was saturated with water and it had ants everywhere. I was tired of moving at this point but housekeeping came in the next day and told me she recommended that I moved rooms so they moved me to another room with no problem. I have nothing really bad to say. The rooms were big a nice they just need some upgrades. The last room we was in was amazing and everyone was really nice about everything and never got mad when I complained. So the way they treated me definitely made up for those two bad rooms.
We rented 3 rooms and the 2 rooms that others stayed in were pretty decent, fairly clean, and comfortable but my room was incredibly damp and moldy and smelled that way. I believe there was a problem with the AC unit, a block drainage tube possibly, but whatever the cause it was uncomfortable moist and damp and moldy. There had been some complaints on reviews of bedbugs and other pests though we did not encounter any of these problems. There also was the telltale signs of cigarette smoking smells and marijuana smells pervasive throughout the hotel. On the whole I would not give my full recommendation for a stay here.
Noticeable improvement since visit early last year. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast lady could not keep up with 8ish am crowd. I suggest going before 8 or after 9 for all items. Mini single pod coffee maker in room made a decent cup of coffee. Mattress in my room was not new, but was comfortable. Temperature of room was easily controlled and quiet.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! The staff there were all friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Breakfast was hot and yummy every morning! Our room was nice and clean, but I think I was getting bit by something, so be cautious about that. Indoor pool was awesome. Parking was awesome.Id definitely go back here, but I would definitely inquire about the possibility of bed bugs.
HORRIBLE!! Check in staff on the phone talking about personal business about a man with her girlfriend. I stood in front of her for 2 minutes. Paced the front desk area another 2-3 minutes. She stayed on the phone TALKING ABOUT NOTHING!! Second person entered to check in & she stayed on the phone another minute or so. I walked out after standing before the mature female staff approx. 5 minutes while she chatted on the phone!!
The hotel itself and staff within were all quite nice. But the Comfort Inn hotel company refused to reimburse me for my incorrect booking date next month, even thought I re-booked and stayed this month and paid for my correct in full, I do not recomment anyone stay at this hotel or at any other hotels operated by the Confort Hotel company
The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was older and needs revamping. The bathroom toilet lid had looked like something had been spilled on it, although it was clean. The bed was uncomfortable and the room just felt unwelcoming. A few very small pictures on wall, no big mirror in hallway outside bathroom like most hotels, No TV guide for channels. It lacked the homey feel that most hotels have when you walk into a room.
The staff was very friendly and attentive upon check-in. They called the room after you got settled to make sure you were comfortable. I was extremely content with the furnishings, the layout and cleanliness of the room. The shower head massage was the most amazing any hotel shower I have ever had. The water pressure alone made me want to stay in there for an hour. The breakfast area was very pleasant and appealing
From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, the apperance of the Hotel was nice. The lobby was very clean and when you walked in you did get a good feeling of how clean the rooms would be. The room was nice and again very clean. I felt totaly comfortable at this hotel. Will be returning again next month. The staff was very pleasant.
This hotel is an older building - but what is so great about that is that it was built when buildings were solid, and walls soundproof, and halls wide. I had forgotten how quiet and roomy a hotel could be. We had just been in another Choice Hotel for the two nights before, and, while we appreciated the great staff and comfortable beds at that location, there was no respite from the neighbors above us and the neighbors next to us. So much noise, all night long. You could even stand in the hallway and hear toilets flushing. At this location, though, in Columbus, Georgia, no sound escaped the rooms or filled the halls. It was so very quiet - which is really the most important feature. So a very nice place to stay. Highly recommend. They do a great job here.
The hotel met all my expectations for a Comfort Inn. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, breakfast was good, the staff was pleasant. The hotel is not in the best area, I wouldnt want to walk anywhere or go for a run. The fitness room was good & the equipment in working order.
Friendly staff, room was clean when we arrived. Great location- every where we went was within 10 minutes of the hotel. Cleaning staff nice but took a long time to clean the rooms. We left for the day to give them time to clean h when we returned about 5 hours later the room wasnt cleaned. We had to ask and someone was there within 5 minutes to clean it.
The hotel is showing its age as the room was dated and door was hard to open and close securely. The guest across the hall were loud through out the night constantly slamming their room door and talking loud outside their room. The breakfast area was too small for the amount of people in the room morning of breakfast, breakfast items were limited when we arrived around 7:30 am ...too compacted need larger breakfast area.... only one way into the hotel and one way out on a busy street.....the room was okay for one night and reasonably priced but will choose another location next time in town. Check in attendant was polite and courteous upon check in as well as checkout.
Don’t stay here! Horrible experience! My husband traveled for work and last night he slept in this hotel. He fought the bugs all night and he was bitten. Today he came at home, he can not work anymore and he feels really bad. He has bits on all his body and face. One of his arm and one of his eyes looks terrible. Tomorrow we will go to see a doctor and we think to consult a lawyer.
Our room was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Our room was comfy. I had a little trouble finding the parking lot from the road. I parked in a different lot and moved my car later. Once I knew how to get to the lot, it was easy, just hard to spot from the main road.
The night clerk was so nice and accommodating. The room was very affordable at $65 and we only reserved at the last minute too! The room was large and cozy, everything was clean and smelled pleasant. Perhaps most important: the AC worked great! The complimentary breakfast seemed a little bland, but was still satisfactory.
Stayed here for 4 days. Had issues with making the reservation, but overall got it solved. Don’t use Expedia, just call the hotel! They’re renovating the place, so we got a room that smelled like fresh paint. But it was clean, and everything was like new.The Rec center was closed the entire time, and the pool was ice cold. The entire floor reeked of Mary Jane for a couple nights, and it seeped into our rooms. There were issues, but overall, the cleaning ladies did very well, the breakfast was surprisingly delicious, and I’ll be back!
It is not a 5 star hotel, but they definitely shine for the price paid. The rooms were clean and the staff was professional and very helpful. The staff helped me with directions on where I needed to go in the area. The bed was extremely comfortable and the business center had fast computers and a quality printer. Comfort Inn hotels are always my first choice when traveling on a budget because they always do a great job and my stays are always pleasant. This hotel met the expectations and raised the bar for customer service due to the friendly and helpful staff.
This hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet for how busy it was. We had a non smoking room and were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room smelled really good, not like smoke at all. The hallway smelled of smoke so we were concerned at first but they do a really good job of airing out or air purifying or something because our room was fine. My parents had a smoking room and they were happy with it also. The breakfast was good, not amazing but lots of options and well kept up. The pool was super warm and we really enjoyed being able to swim at all different times of day up until 10pm. We were here for a relatives basic training graduation and it is a really good distance from the base and also has lots of food options in walking distance. I would definitely recommend this to someone visiting Ft Benning!
Room was clean, no bugs. Breakfast was the usual eggs, meat, choices of breads, make-your-own waffle, yogurt, cereals, etc. Common areas are showing signs of age: peeling wallpaper, threadbare chair arms, chipped paint; but its clean and doesnt smell funky like some hotels. All staff was friendly and helpful. I chose this over the other nearby hotels because this one is 100% smoke and pet free. Its the second hotel from the highway so you have a buffer for the travel noise. Its about a five minute drive to the front gate of Ft. Benning.
The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was awesome! The hotel really needs work. In our room, the bed spread was stained and had a few holes in it. The towels had stains on them and so did the carpet. The bathtub faucet was coming out of the wall and the toilet paper holder was falling off. I didnt feel clean at all when I was there.
We were double charged. When I brought it to their attention I did not receive an apology. They indicated it was because I checked in after their nightly audit. It’s been a week and still no refund. Also the white comforters on both beds had food residue and multiple fresh stains. They were NOT washed from previous guest. A staff member did delivery new blankets promptly. The pool was under service but no one was ever serving it. The breakfast was a sufficient breakfast.
Front desk staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Amelia went above and beyond in helping me get connected to the Wi-Fi. It is kind of complicated and the directions are not very clear. Tbe bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was also pretty good. They changed out the entree every morning. One day it was a cheese omelette, the next, scrambled eggs. One day, bacon, the next, sausage.
The staff was friendly especially in the breakfast area. There were pool birthday parties both Friday and Saturday night with family and friends invited. It was too rough for our young child to go swimming. Stayed at many hotels and never knew that you could rent a room and have a party at their swimming pool. Also we arrived we had no shower curtain in our room. And even though Id given payment online they are not process the payment which cause confusion.
Great Hotel, newly remodeled, clean and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even did our laundry for us, as coin laundry wasnt available just yet because of renovations. Have to give special note to JULI and her husband JIM. They seem to take great pride in their Jobs and are always busy doing something. They never stopped working, and never stopped making sure we were comfortable. We were there for 3 nights. Cant wait to return. Thank you!
Hotel seems to be still being remodeled as my room had recently filled holes in the walls. The walls also did not match in color which seemed as painting had not been completed. However, the price for what the hotel offers was really good. The indoor pool was great for my kids, Managers reception was good with snack and beverage. Breakfast was good too, even offered some hot items like eggs and sausage. I would gladly return here pull I be in Columbus again.
Price was fair, but even at the price, I am not sure I would stay there again. The general condition of the motel itself was not that great. While the room was fairly decent, the TV was old and you could tell needed replaced (not a good picture). The remote was difficult to get the buttons to work. In the four nights we stayed there, we had to have the room key re-done about 10 times (we believe it was the door lock itself that was not working properly). It had a small pool, which was okay ... unless you had some group of about 15 kids in it like there was one time! It did have easy access to the highway, which was nice.
My special needs daughter and I were in Columbus to see a physician and to schedule an upcoming surgery. We decided to stay over for a couple of extra days. We were well-pleased with the hotel, the staff, and the accommodations. We enjoyed our meals and also swimming in the indoor, heated pool. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Everyone was extremely kind, considerate, and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Location was great for our swim meet. We felt safe in this part of town. Housekeeping services were disappointing. The beds were sloppily made, and they didnt replace replacement garbage bags. We found trash under the curtains from a previous guest. We have stayed in this hotel for the last three years for the NAIA National Swimming Championships, and this was the first time we have had issues here. Front desk staff was friendly.
Hot breakfast was awesome! Very clean hotel. Plenty of towels, wash clothes etc. and 4 pillows per bed which was awesome. Indoor pool was clean. Staff was helpful. The only thing this hotel needs is a hot tub and then I would give it a 11. lol Very convenient to restaurants, entertainment and gas stations. It had a enterprise for rental cars beside the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel!
When first arriving to the hotel, I can tell it needs to be updated. As someone who travels for work weekly, I read a ton of reviews before booking a hotel. When reading reviews I was under the impression the hotel is/was undergoing renovations. When arriving to the hotel this does not seem to be the case. The outside is not very welcoming, and many of the features are not up to date with other hotel brands. As a frequent traveler, I use hotel fitness rooms often. I was very disappoint is the fitness room. 1 of 3 cardio machines was working and the only weight machine was not properly working. Many hotels now have free weights and have more than 3 cardio machines. In the room, there was a burn spot on the carpet, and the shower seems to have been skipped during the updates.
Our stay at this hotel was great. Great location, right off I185. Food & shops right within a 1-2 mile radius. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable. They were cleaning the outside of the hotel when we checked in but was out the way the next day.
Easy to make reservation on line, reasonable cost, staff very courteous, quick check-in and check-out, included breakfast was pretty good. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Indoor pool, did not use but saw several others using it. Also an exercise room with 3 stations, did not use. The only thing that could remotely be un-positive is that on previous stays we were given a goodie bag that had a bottle of water and a pack of cookies/ crackers.... nice touch but not a deal breaker if not continued.
From the time I checked in to the time I checked out the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. The hotel overall was very clean and comfortable. It also offers an indoor pool and a pretty decent fitness room with cardio and weight lifting equipment. The Continental Breakfast was the standard found in most hotels and of acceptable quality. The parking lot is a little on the small side in terms of available parking spaces. However, this should only become a problem when the hotel is full and large commercial vehicles take more than one parking spot, as was the case during my stay.
I stayed in the hotel for several days while competing at the USAS National Championships at Ft Benning. The hotel was very clean and the staff was outstanding. Also convenient was the onsite laundry. Staying in the same place for several days meant that I had to do laundry at least once. The only thing was the pool needed to be cleaned but other than that I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
Arrived to cockroaches in my room. When I arrived another guest was receiving help in line before me. She had a clogged tub when she got to the room, but the maintenance personal were not available. She asked for cleaning supplies and said she would clean it herself only to be told the cleaning supplies were not available either. I immediately left and went to the Hilton double tree and enjoyed my stay there. I called the next morning asking for a refund (which I was told I would receive if I called the manager the next morning) only to be told it was impossible. Good luck staying in business. I would never ever recommend this to anyone.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Weve stayed here every time weve visited the Columbus area. We love the location because it doesnt take long to get to downtown or other stores or restaurants. We also like the friendly staff. They have always been helpful to any questions or issues we may have. The pool is also nice. Its a great place to stay.
Same as it ever was. Under new management I believe, and check-in was much smoother than in the past. Rooms and amenities havent changed. Pool, exercise room, and waffle iron breakfast like always. $65 plus fees so, a deal for me. Always preferred this place to the now defunct Airport Holiday Inn.
From the time I first entered the hotel lobby I was very impressed by the appearance and the friendliness of the workers. There was a new worker checking me in and I cant remember her name but she was excellent in taking care of me. The rooms were gorgeous and smelled great. Your beds slept comfortable and when I visit again this will be the hotel of my choice.
I checked in around 10 and was sleep by 12 around 1:00 am i was woken up to bed bugs biting me when I got up i saw 2 clearly crawling across the pillows. The manager Charlie didn’t want to refund my money same night and he denied them having bed bugs but did issue a refund to take 7-10 business days.. Very Disgusting!!!
Great front desk staff. Great beds. Room was clean. A little dated, but not a bad place to stay. We were in Columbus for our grandson’s family day at Ft. Benning. The only complaint that I would have is that on Saturday morning, the breakfast bar was supposed to open at 0600. However, on that day, they didn’t open it until 0615. Not a great difference, but enough that it almost threw us late in getting us to where we needed to be on Ft. Benning.
Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good. Would have liked to see it go a little later. I was on vacation. But staff was wonderful. Opened back up even though he was cleaning and fed me. Staff was so friendly. Had several restaurants very close by. Will definitely stay here again
Check in process was smooth and the front desk clerks are professional, friendly and efficient. The hotel itself could use some renovation. The indoor pool water looked murky, so we didn’t go in although there were several families enjoying themselves. The room was clean, but it felt muggy even with the air running and the room smelled like mildew. The bed was comfortable for the 1 night I slept in it. I paid for 2 nights and ended up leaving for the airport super early so no sleep 2nd night. Continental breakfast area was so small we took what we could up to our room. I wasn’t expecting IHOP, but it could have been better. The side door does not close all the way and anyone without a key could easily walk into the hotel after hours. I addressed it with the front desk on our 1st night, but the 2nd night returning after being out it was still accessible without my key. Overall I wasn’t too pleased with my stay at this Comfort Inn and I’m a choice hotel member, having stayed at many comfort inns over the years. I would not stay at this location again unless it has been renovated. I gave 3 stars only because everyone we encountered were courteous and the room was clean.
Chris, the young man that checked us in, was amazing! He is so full of energy, laughter, knowledge, and more; and that is always a refreshing experience in any industry these days! He was spot-on, knew his job well, had me checked in immediately after I made the reservation online, via your lobby computer, as a Choice member (since I didnt do it before leaving home as I didnt know if I would be staying the night). Several to-be guests came in after me and he gave them the same delightful experience that we received. I just couldnt ask to be treated any better! Jim was still on the hotel grounds and he remembered us from our previous stay. What a great way to make someone feel when you have previously met them and they remembered you having been a guest there before. He was so helpful the time before this, and he never hesitates to tell us, Let me know if you need anything at all. As well, although I cannot remember his name right now, but the young man who prepared the breakfast the next morning, I met him and he was just a wonderful joy to chat with for a moment, as he was busy. Your hotel staff must be happy because I know two of these three individuals have been with this hotel for quite some time, and the another has come on-board more recently! Just excellent! The best customer service and friendliness one could ask for! Ill be back this afternoon for another nights stay! Thank you to all!
This hotel had many issues. They kindly let us check in early but put us in a room with a bathroom in serious need of maintenance. The towel holder on the back of the door was broken, the toilet paper holder too, the bathtub was so clogged water was above my ankles after a short shower. We asked to be moved when we came back later that night. The staff wasnt gracious about it in any way. We were never acknowledged as Platinum members even. When we returned the a/c in all common areas was out and this was a continuing problem through the weekend. The front desk staff had a fan just to keep cool. The new room they sent us to had similar bathroom problems...broken toilet paper holder, hair dryer, hair still in the bathtub from lack of cleaning even. The fridge even had a problem with standing water in its base so that the whole room had a moldy smell. We knew that there was no reason to ask for a third room as it would likely be the same.
Not clean, Internet wasn’t working well there. Pool wasn’t open but one day of our visit. Our room was infested with ants. Front desk wasn’t the friendliest either. I will never stay again. I booked because it was the first one with an indoor pool. However, it’s not worth the headache. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. They tried to charge my card multiple times saying it didn’t go through. I checked my account standing right there and it went through. Someone else said tried to do that so I think it’s a scheme. Don’t bother with this place! It has been the worst one I’ve ever stayed in.
Clean rooms, but you can tell they are either part way through a remodel, or taking every single shortcut possible. Shower was re-tiled, but very poor job caulking and grouting. The vanity and rest of the bathroom is still the old items. Downstairs lobby is nice and clean and new, but you can tell they decided in the rooms to skip half of the work
This location was very easy to get to. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The overall cleanliness was fine but there several things that were in need of repair like the flusher handle for the toilet being so loose you had to press like you felt it would break before flushing.
Clean rooms and very affordable. Mrs. Kellogs helped me check in. Shes fantastic. I checked in pretty late. I would say around 1am but I didnt get settled until around 2am and even then she was very helpful and sweet as I went in and out. We were just passing through so the room was great for the price. The beds are clean and comfortable. The elevator is a bit scary but it does the job. Its an older building but it works. I requested a late checkout and was able to get it pushed back but the cleaning lady still knocked on the door telling us we had to go. After telling her about the late check out she just said, okay and walked away. The big turn off was when I went to return the keys at the front desk. There were two employees standing at one computer and what seemed to be an owner (she wasnt in uniform but was behind the desk at the entrance to the back room) and all 3 of them looked at me as if i was speaking a foreign language when I asked where I could put the keys. A third employee walked behind the desk and kindly helped me check out. I know I dont look American but my English is spot on.
Upon arrival, check in was excellent. When we arrived to our room the overall experience was good, but the carpet was dirty. The carpet had several large stains. Because we arrived so late I waited until the morning to be switched to a different room. Tammy was very professional and handle my request in an expeditious manner. Later on that evening my husband noticed that they had shampooed the carpet in the room with the stains, which showed that she listened to us. She could have easily just changed our room and left the stain on the floor, but she took the necessary action to ensure no other person would complain. The Monday after my stay I noticed on my banking account I had been charge for an extra room. This caused my account to become overdrawn. I called the hotel immediately and upon speaking with Tammy she stated she would rectify the situation and get back with me. I was disappointed that I had to call the hotel back several hours later because she in fact had not taken care of it. I spoke with Tabby who said shed have to call Tammy to find out what was going on and she told me to call her back in 20 minutes. I called her back and she asked me to do a three way call to the bank. I did that and she gave them all of the necessary information to remove the charge from my account.
Bed bugs! Woke up at 3:30am covered in bites, found one bed bug and took it downstairs, was put in another room and got bit again! Worst yet, I had to walk a half a mile to get quarters to wash my things because they refused to give me more than $2.50 for the laundry! Luckily, I am a fit, armed man but imagine if your daughter or wife had been told they had to go to a gas station to get quarters at 4am in Columbus! After putting them in an infested room! I sleep in hotels 1/3 of the year, this is the 2nd time Ive EVER had beg bugs in my 3 years of road life. I hate leaving reviews but I have to warn yall DO NOT GIVE THESE LAZY PEOPLE YOUR MONEY
Clean & update rooms in great location for our visit. We had two rooms booked & were happy with each one. Then the 4th night on one of the rooms my husband & I decided to drive back home after we dropped our son off at his Army base. It started raining & storming so we went back to the hotel to see if we could get the room back since the night was already paid for. The desk clerk, who was not busy, rolled her eyes, got up from her seat, punched on the computer, & handed us the room keys back...she was just rude. Now that we are home I see that a charge was made to our bank account for that night...so we paid for 5 nights when we only stayed 4. If she had told me that she was going to have to charge for an extra night we would have just driven home...so I am not happy that she did not inform of us the charge....I never agreed to that. We have two more rooms booked there for next month but now I am planning on finding a different hotel else where. Hotel great...customer service...terrible. I called to speak to the manager but was told she is out until Monday & that no one else there can help me with a billing problem.
I was in town for Army Basic Training graduation for my nephew. His parents stayed in this hotel also. The staff didnt mind us all using the lounge area in the lobby as a living room to hang out in as a family in the evenings! They even gave us the TV remote so we could choose our own Christmas show to watch! Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean! I would recommend this hotel for sure!
My last 3 or 4 stays at this hotel have been just perfect, so I wanted to take just a minute and give kudos to the folks that work at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Columbus.I travel to Columbus from Atlanta for my work, and I chose to stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites for most all of my visits. The hotel sits off the road, but is close to I-185, so it is convenient but quiet. Since I travel quite a bit, I look for the little things that make my stay more comfortable, and I have found the people that work at this property pay attention to details. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly and the housekeeping folks are great. As I was coming in to the hotel one afternoon, some of the housekeeping staff were just leaving. One of them looked at me, smiled, and genuinely said, Thank you for staying with us. When I travel to the Columbus, GA area, I stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites.
The positive things about this hotel are nicely updated room and the breakfast was above average. The negative things are the housekeeping seemed to never finish making up the room when staying over (didnt make bed or change towels). Several times we had to pass by staff right at the doors that were smoking. They need to move away from the doors. Could hear conversations in the room next door. Probably wouldnt stay here again.
Our stay here was pleasant. The rooms are clean and spacious. We made use of the guest laundry and the only drawback was the location. It is located adjacent to the hotel laundry and the door to that laundry was open so that the hotel personnel were doing laundry at the same time we were. It is an unusual set up.
The room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of smoke. Staff claim it is being renovated and they cant do anything about it. The smell would get worse during the day when cleaning staff was on the floor so believe they were smoking. Other than the breakfast staff, they werent friendly. Only gave you two towels. Rushed us during checkout even after being approved for extended checkout. Small breakfast area, slow internet
Called the reservations number to book a room for my kids and mother to take a pre-thanksgiving vacation. The reason we selected this hotel is that they told us we could get a room with a king bed that adjoined a room with 2 queen beds. When my mother arrived we were told that they had no such rooms, only king+king rooms and that it was more than our reservation.
This comfort Inn in Columbus, Ga. was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was good. Our only problem was our room was not cleaned. We stayed 2 nights and wasn;t sure if it was suppose to be cleaned but our friends room was cleaned. I would stay again.,
My husband and I were in Columbus Georgia for a graduation at Fort Benning. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time was a great experience also.We had missing luggage from the airport and the hotel staff provided several essential items that we needed. We also had to cancel a non-refundable reservation, because of an Army change of graduation dates. The hotel manager made the non-refundable change for us to another date, and was very accommodating. It is very clean with great service. The staff is prepared for a large group of families andfriends going to Army graduations, so the breakfast staff is quickly restocking coffee and Breakfastitems every morning.
The 2nd shift employee was very friendly, very fast check in and great employee. The hotel is great, clean and great breakfast. There were only 2 things that were or could be fixed! 1) the gym, you cannot workout because the total gym is broke so that needs to be fixed because when people are on the road and workout, it is a great deal of disappointment when you cant and 2) the hot tub room is very nice but there are no ventilation in the actual hot tub room itself and you cant breath. Other then that! GREAT!
We arrived it was easy to navigate--in central Columbus GA. The room was large and very clean. The Wi-Fi was fast and the hotel staff was accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and person preparing was very efficient. The pool was warm and clean. Overall and excellent experience.
Despite arriving very very late at night the staff was friendly and accommodating for us. We checked in without any trouble and slept without any interruptions. Because we arrived so late they also allowed us a little late check-out. Everything was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Thank you for a nice stay and the great customer service.
Overall, the stay was ok. The location is good, but the hotel only has one entrance from one direction. The parking is cramped. Hard to get a decent pickup truck to turn around due to the limited parking lot space. Room was clean, and wasnt too noisy given the age and amount of guests staying the night. Complimentary breakfast was very basic, and the selection was limited. Dining area is very small - difficult to get around to various breakfast stations without running into another guest.
My fist stay on the trip was okay. Then on our way back through we stayed again. First the staff was friendly but as soon as we started having problems they were very rude. It started with the WiFi. We were ultimately told that we needed to call tech support, which didnt help. Then we never figured out what the problem was. Next the air conditioning didnt work and when I called down to ask for another room, the desk clerk was very rude and seemed irritated that she had to do something about it. Will not stay at this place again.
My stay at the Comfort Inn in Columbus GA was great. I was there to visit a friend and I was able to do that with little stress. I really appreciated them letting me have a late check out. The breakfast was great. Staff really really nice. Let me tell you...I would stay again just to sleep in that bed. Very very comfortable!!!
Great location about 15 minutes from Fort Benning, and lots of choices to eat around the hotel. Initially our room was not cleaned, they did fix that while we went to dinner the first night. Big, loud dryers all around lobby drying the carpet. good hotel choice for the money
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tammy at the front desk was great, answered all my questions upon check-in. Greated everyone in my party, made all of us feel very welcomed. Carol, morning breakfast, always had a smile on her face and a cheery Good Morning, The room was super clean and the counters never sticky(hard to do with kids and syrup). And Jim,maintainence, he was always working hard, but made time to say hello or answer a question. The pool was clean and warm, very refreshing, the fitness room was good(thought a 10am opening was a bit late but we made it work). I really had no troubles or complaints.
I was given a room that had not been cleaned thoroughly. There were ashes in the sink and on the carpet by the bed. The trash had not been emptied and the ice bucket still had water in it. The staff was very helpful getting me another room. I had to settle for two double beds instead of a king that I requested. After this problem was taken care of my stay was great.
The hotel, although older, was clean and the staff friendly. It had most of the amenities such as swimming pool, exercise room, and breakfast that I believe people look for in a hotel. It was near the venue that we were attending. The access to the hotel was very easy to get to right off the interstate. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay.
I enjoyed my stay, just i would of thought since i requested a crib it would have been in the room when i arrived. the staff on 3rd shift im assuming was very helpful and friendly, when i checked in the lady didnt seem to friendly. maybe it was just a rough day. but overall i was pretty happy.
I was called right after booking to be told there were no connecting rooms available. Which wasn’t a biggie however I told the lady who called that I would need side by side. She acted as if she could not assist me. I had to constantly probe her to get an answer about my rooms. She then got loud with me. I understand I may be an employee staying on a discounted rate but I’m still a customer and that’s no way to treat a paying customer. Finally I was told that someone gave up their king so that I could have rooms that would be side by side. I check in and the rooms were not side by side. One was a few doors down from mine on the opposite side. I’ve stayed at many choice hotels and this was by far the worst, overall.
Hotel overall okay. Pool had more chlorine in it than water I believe. Also no towels in the pool area for the 3 days we were there. Breafast was ok, but a little on the cold side. Even though this was the only hotel in the area I could find with an indoor pool, I might skip the indoor pool at this facility. Next time, pool wont go into my consideration for where to stay. On the brighter side, beds were quite comfy.
Staff was very friendly. Room was exceptionally clean. I do not think they missed a spot! WiFi service is weak and breakfast from the freezer were my only complaints but overall, the experice was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for the price per night if staying in Columbus or heading to Ft Benning.
This is a nice hotel and a good place for a comfortable nights sleep but the breakfast experience is TERRIBLE. The staff is more interested in cleaning up and going home that seeing to the guests! Not a bad choice for spending the night but plan on going across the street to the Waffle House to get breakfast.
I recently stayed here to due my sons graduation from Fort Benning. It was easily accessible from the highway. There are plenty of things to do near the hotel. It has a nice indoor pool. They offer a nice breakfast choice. Rooms are very clean and staff is friendly. I felt very safe leaving my car in the parking lot and coming back when it was dark.
We stayed at this hotel for three days. We had two rooms, the rooms were very clean. The staff was excellent, never better. The hotel is dated but they have very comfortable beds and a very warm, yet small swimming pool. We came to Georgia to visit with a soldier at Fort Benning, this hotel made our experience very pleasant.
The first room had a very unacceptable odor in it. It smelled like the carpet had molded long go. Why was this allowed to be available to anyone? Why not do a walk through? After a visit to the front desk we were able to TRY another room but even then the hustle of moving into another room after a 7 + hour drive was tiring. We just wanted to rest. Gotta do better.
I stay at comfort inn each time im in Columbus. I requested extra towels but none was in the room.. Turned on a/c before going to bed by 2 am it was like a sauna in the room. I spoke to front desk clerk and she stated you survived the night ill get maintenance the work order tomorrow she didnt try to accommodate me in any way. Very disappointed in my stay thos time. Im sure she probably rented that room out to someone else after i checked out.
I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Columbus, GA for my son’s Army Graduation and I have to say I was less than impressed with this hotel. I checked in on Friday evening at approximately midnight as I just drove for 7.5 hours to get there to spend time with my son while he was on family leave. Upon arrival to the room, my wife, kids, and I realized that the room was extremely warm but thought maybe someone cut the air up to save energy so I cut it down to a normal 68 degrees. Unfortunately, the room never cooled off that night which made for an extremely long day of driving and then not being able to sleep on top of that. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk upon going down for breakfast and she mentioned that it would be taken care of. If the air conditioner was worked on, whatever they did, did not help the situation. I would venture to guess that the room was 80 degrees on Monday morning when we checked out to take my son back to Fort Benning, GA as I was already sweating before I even made it downstairs to leave.
The hotel was outdated and in a bad area of town. I didnt feel safe. The breakfast was ok, not the best I had at hotels before. At least the staff was friendly and very helpful. The tub was dirty and the carpet was old. The elevator was so slow I didnt know if it was going to work at all.
The front desk hostess, Lakisha, was awesome! Room was clean; Bed was very comfortable....loved that comforter! Breakfast consisted of choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs, make your own waffle, bagels, sweet rolls, sausage/bacon. In other words, it was not just a continental breakfast....it was a good breakfast!
Even though remodeling and the parking lot had material trailers and the inside had materials etc every the staff made sure everyone was safe and happy. They went beyond their means to accommodate. Our room had all new carpet, bathroom flooring and couldnt have been any cleaner or nicer.
Overall the hotel experience was good I have no complaints the staff was good and the issue with the bathroom stopper it was handle professionally. I would recommend this hotel to other guests it is right off the expressway and so convenient. The location has an great area for shopping and any necessities that you might need. I would recommend this hotel the breakfast is good, stop in and stay awhile hot breakfast as well as cold I would recommend the hotel.
The ladies at Front desk were friendly, but the breakfast was not good. Just wasnt a warm feeling at breakfast. Like other hotels, breakfast should be warm and friendly, thats when guest wake up. Hungry and looking for good food and a friendly face. Thats when guest will always come back! Thank you for your time!
When I first arrived there ,I had a gut feeling due to the locate. I would not like the hotel. The overall renovation was properly done. The room I stayed in toilet would not flush properly. I had originally planned to stay for 3 days. But the next morning I checked out. I told the person at front desk about the toilet not flushing properly and noone never came to fix the toilet.
This hotel seems to be a hit and miss. I have stayed here twice. My first stay was very reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. However, just one week later I stayed again, and that stay was a disappointment. The price was inflated, and the room was substandard. The room smelled of smoke, the AC did not function as it should have, and the TV was not working correctly. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was so slow that I gave up trying.
PoorI was at the hotel with a group of cheerleaders for a state competition. One room had blood on the carpet upon check in. Housekeeping was sent to clean it up.Another member of our group was in the king room with hot tub. A large section of paneling was missing off the front exposing insulation. Carpet had holes in it.My room was on the 3rd floor - elevator was slow and sounded like it was about to stop running altogether. My room appeared clean but there was black on the side of the tub. Like someone tried to step in with wet feet and left a trail. To top things off, as I went to get in the shower the next morning, i discovered the shower didn’t work. So I checked out without a morning shower. I told the clerk upon check out. Her only response was that she would tell maintenance. No offer of compensation or even “I’m so sorry about that.”To rub salt in the wound, I found out that rooms at the newly built Hampton Inn and the local Clarion were very clean and comparable in price. Very disappointing stay
We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past two years, is always clean, staff courteous, even a pretty good self-serve breakfast. Wi-fi is iffy at best.If using the Choice Privilege points be sure you book using the Choice Hotel website ph#, if not you may not get full credit
I stayed 2 days for a concert there in Columbus. The hotel was very quiet and neat. My room was very clean and the staff was very friendly upon my check-in. The location is very convenient. It is near everything. Shopping, eateries, etc. There is even a pharmacy next to it. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
Great hotel with the most comfortable beds ever. Although my room was noisy thanks its location directly across from the laundry and housekeeping, I was able to relax in bed and watch television. I think that the bed was the reason I did not get upset about all of the noise.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay at this hotel again. I like the breakfast but I would suggest that they put more fresh fruit on the breakfast bar (ex. grapes, strawberries, pineapples). My overall stay was great! Thank you soooo much. For making my trip a success. JOB WELL DONE!!!!
We had a horrible experience asked nicely for a refund and didnt not receive full . Booked 27th-31st of Jan. Left early from bed bug bites . Have pics and all they say they dont have them . Please check beds . We found 2 bugs one on each bed . All 3 got bites. Took forever to reply and still no refund . Management not easy to work with emailed and called still not return since refused refund . Just want my money back.
Comfort Inn Columbus Georgia Macon Road. The staff was very Friendly and Helpful. I felt very comfortable and the Hotel was Clean. We were able to hang out in the lobby and the staff made us feel very welcomed. I stayed there back in April also. It was only 10 minutes away from the gates of Fort Benning. I felt comfortable having my Soldier there. I highly recommend this hotel
Great staff, good location to fort benning. facilities were satisfactory, would have liked a hot tub. found a pair of womens underwesr in the corner behind a chair, took the staff a day and a half to get them out. although everytime i got back from an event, i was assured the problem was handled. and the window was unable to open, so the smell was funky with no fresh air.
This is an older hotel with small rooms. it is obvious that they have attempted to update the rooms but there were areas showing neglect or damage such as the breakfast area where the cabinetry was is bad shape (doors missing and broken up). The staff was very pleasant and courteous. Breakfast items were limited.
Hotel is not in great location. Has a grimy feel to it. Staff was ok. Breakfast was decent if youre in a hurry and dont have another option and well managed. Shower was ice cold first morning. Better last morning. Just had the feel youd see a bug or mouse come around the corner any minute. Wouldnt recommend.
We found the hotel online during a frantic search with Irma barreling down. The location is very convenient to historic district, museums and the river. Additionally, there is a drug store next door and plenty of food options within walking distance. But most important was the staff. Friendly and helpful. Made sure ever refugee was comfortable. I look forward to returning.
My husband and I stayed here for our sons Army basic training graduation, it was a wonderful experience. All of the hotel staff that we encountered were very nice and made our experience great! The hotel staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful. I was very satisfied with our stay there.
The accommodations were clean, and the staff were friendly. This hotel is located near shopping centers and restaurants. We received a warm holiday welcome and service was excellent. Our uncle stated he wished he had known about this hotel, after he stopped by our room to visit. Awesome stay in Macon, GA. Thank you for the comforts of home away from home.!!!
I appreciate choice hotels and use this location for multiple trips throughout the year. The rooms are clean, the location is good and the price is great. With that being said, it appears that the staff is not consistent across the board with choice member policies and some friendly customer service skills are needed for some of the employees . I have run into a problem the last 3 visits during my checkin and checkout process. I choose this location due to the choice member perks available to me and the convenience. If they are not accessable then I may need to explore other options. Overall experience pretty good, but a disgruntle, employee with ill advised knowledge of choice member protocol; is unacceptable. It is one of the reasons I choose chain and location. Hope this is addressed soon. Thanks.

2022-07-05Nice hotel for price, location convenient for stores and dining .But staff definitely feels over work and under paid 🤦🏾♀️Front desk attendant seemed irritated at check in,housekeeping had to come reclean my bathroom(dirty at check in) for rest of my stay service or clean towels didnt come till afternoon. Even the breakfast attendant seemed mad that the # of guest coming down was getting larger. It was a holiday weekend (4thJuly) they seemed overwhelmed and unprepared

2022-05-16Unfriendly staff. The room was satisfactory including the linen and bedding,However staff at check-in was not pleasant and one of the keys did not work, fortunately I had two keys, regardless the staff lady the following morning was unpleasant remaking the key. We did stay two days and this hotel did service the room

2022-02-19The price seemed reasonable initially until we checked in and saw the quality of the hotel. The hotel had decent stars but I should have read the reviews before booking. If I did I would have stayed elsewhere.

2022-05-07It is dated and needs some minor repairs all over the place. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was hot and tasty.
