I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. My husband and I are very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the dirty room we were assigned. We arrived at the hotel. Once we went to the room, we found hair all over the comforter and sheets on both queen beds. The room was not cleaned. There was a pair of lady thongs lying on the floor. My husband attempted to turn the air on because the room was extremely hot. The air would not work so we called the lady at the front desk. She sent the maintenance guy. Although he attempted to work on the air, the air would shut off every time he leave the room. We went to try to get another room. The lady at the front desk was very rude with my husband and I. She stated “I’m all zeroed out. What do you want me to do?” She was very rude and didn’t care at all. My husband and I requested a refund and went to another hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
Our room was dirty. It did not feel clean at all. All of the surfaces looked like they hadnt been wiped down for a while. We had a sofa bed in our room and when we pulled it out it was disgusting. The sheets were dirty. And when we went to the front desk to see if we could get clean sheets, the woman at the desk showed no concern at all. We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way to Florida. Lets just say, we will not be staying here on future trips. I do not recommend at all!
Overall, the hotel was good. It met expectations, and no major problems. It was an old hotel and had it not been for the lights, I would have assumed the hotel was abandoned from its exterior appearance. However, they were working on renovations during my time there. Interior, it was nice. Once again, you could see the hotels age but it didnt affect my experience.
The beds were comfortable, bathroom sink wasn’t working and make an awful sound when you turned it on. It had a washcloth wrapped around pipe underneath. AC fan wouldn’t stay on. Room was kinda hot. Parking is terrible. Very sketchy. We did not feel safe coming in late.
Hotel is very nice, being remodeled at the moment. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Id stay here again if ever back this way.My only 2 complaints, 1, parking area is very small, not much room especially if youre in a dually! 2 complaint would be lack of roller carts at the front, seems to only be one cart available for the entire hotel.
The only reason this place gets two stars is because the staff was actually pretty friendly. However the state of the rooms was extremely unacceptable. There was feces on the toilet paper roll, mold in the AC vents, the floors werent vacuumed, and it smelled so musty. We moved rooms and still had the same issues with dirty floors and mold and it smelled like mildew so we ended up getting a refund and going to stay at the Hampton Inn. I wouldnt be as upset if they werent charging so much nightly. The Hampton Inn was comparable in price and exceeded our expectations in quality of cleanliness and customer care. Would not recommend this place to anyone. See pics below.
Website said pool was closed after reservations made but luckily it was open, and it is an indoor pool. Had a beautiful suite since we traveled with our 9yo Triplets---more than enough space. Staff was helpful making sure we had enough extra linens & room was wonderfully cold! Able to sleep and rest before going to White Water! Best of all---they are located near the most amazing restaurant--The Melting Pot which we able to get a reservation and enjoy an absolute wonderful fondue dinner experience with our boys
The computer down stairs for guess was not working. I came in town to do some extra work during my stay and was not able to at your business center.I had to go to kinkos andPay a extra money to complete my work. Please get this working because i stay in this area alot. Thanks to jada and Ginger for helping me find an outside spot to complete my work assignments
The hotel is quiet, up to date and well decorated and we enjoyed our stay. I was however disappointed in the bathroom. The lighting was poor, hot water at the sink was a trickle and the sink sitting on top of the vanity is so tall that, at 57 I was not able to use it to wash my face, had to move to the tub. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with someone less than 5 ft tall.
Ive stayed here several times as I traveled for work. Its generally OK just OK but this last time was awfulThe 1st room I was put into on the bottom floor. Smelled terrible as soon as I walked in, then I noticed that the air conditioner was set on 62 and running but it was very hot inside it was 55゚ outside so it had nothing to do with the weather. the floor was wet and sticky and footprints everywhere. I couldnt get past the smell so I went backup to the desk and requested a different room the attendant seemed a little annoyed but gave me a room on the 2nd floor just down from the lobby. That room was also warm when I walked in, the ac cover was off. it was carpeted and didnt stink, however the floor was still very dirty I noticed a pile of toenails by the bed and a pill of some sort under the luggage bench ,there was food in the chair and a powdery substance all over the couch, the toilet was disgusting and there was hair in the tub I didnt bother to go back to the desk . My partner also had a room on the bottom floor and it smelled and was damp as well
Positive: We usually stay here due to location and indoor heated pool. This time we had a terrible experience. Negative: The receptionist at check in was rude. The computers were down when we arrived so we had to wait to check in. Pool was not heated and she refused to turn on the outside fireplace. Hotel was under renovation so there were boxes everywhere.
We have stayed here before and enjoyed the quiet secluded location and the comfortable room. This time the entire sending looked neglected both inside and out. The little garden was full of weeds and cigarette butts, and the overall appearance of the hallways and room was shabby and worn. It is definitely time for a redo of this location. We were also not pleased that the price had gone way up since our stay last October.
Our room was flat out dirty. There was a used towel and two used bars of soap in the shower, bugs on the ceiling, and the previous guest’s food was STILL IN THE FRIDGE. They were under construction, which was fine, but I expected the room to at least be clean. Especially in the middle of a global pandemic. What’s worse is I never saw the manager or anyone at the counter to even tell them that we needed our room cleaned. I met my partner there and literally never saw a single soul but the “cleaning” crew. HIGHLY disappointed.
We stopped here after driving north from the Florida Keys; we checked in around 1:30am. The front desk attendant was rude, gave us keys that didnt work, one of our rooms smelled like Marijuana. The hotel was not clean, especially in the common areas & the elevator. The bed was comfortable. Definitely not worth the $400 we spent for 2 rooms.
Had issues with bathroom cleaning. Toilet was not cleaned . Towels needed to be replace. There was hair. The outside furniture is broken and pads dirty. Did my own house keeping. Rugs very misty that I had to buy fabreeze. Staff very nice but some other did care but being on their phone. Wish some can call me so the next time I come I can gave a better experience 😌
My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The room was nice and very clean and comfortable. Staff was great. I do wish that we had known that there was a major renovation underway at this location. We could have chosen the Comfort Suites on the very next exit instead. However, except for while waling through the lobby we were not bothered by the construction at all. Overall pleased with the experience.
Clean place, clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows comfy bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come back. The only thing is that it wasnt until we checked in that we were told that there is not hot breakfast which is a big deal for us when deciding on lodging.
Under construction, sprinklers covered by painters tape, painters tape in the unfinished room... Poor craftsmanship in the unit, which is very obvious - curtain rod base uneven, mismatched carpet, boxes of yet to be installed furniture throughout the building...Wasnt filthy, but wasnt clean.Part of the metal bedframe pokes out, hitting me right on the shin.Disappointing compared to the reviews average led me to believe.Would not stay again, even at half price.
We stayed there a week ago and it was great. Last night, we stayed at the same location and was disappointed. There were empty Gatorade bottles and garbage and dirt under the bed. The floors looked like they were not swept at all. I am a Choice member and have never been disappointed, until last night.
Reservation was made online for a king suite with 2 person sofa bed. We are traveling with kids so we rely on the pull out couches for them. Got to the room and it is a single person sofa bed. I have never even seen those before in a choice hotel and we have traveled to many. Go down to ask for an extra comforter to put one kid on the floor and an extra blanket and sheets to make the pull out and sheet to put on the cushions to put another kid on the floor. We have 3 boys and although the room is for 4 they tell us to put 4 in the app and let them know at the desk we have 5. So far we have never had an issue. The guy at the desk says we have no blankets or comforters but I can get you a sheet 😳 like that is really going to help! Thanks anyway. No attempt to help in any way. They also let people smoke in the rooms and you can smell the weed all through the halls. My oldest thinks it smells like ceaser salads. 🤦♀️ 🤣
Terrible experience, 7 rooms for family to attend funeral, 3 were bad enough to request a new room, but none avaliable. One had fresh urine and stains on bed, one had 7 issues, another had 3 housekeeping issues, all had dirty, stained carpet. Desk clerk apologized but did nothing to help. Rooms 304, 314 and 419 should be closed until remodeling complete.
Stayed at this hotel in Kennesaw, GA after an 8 hour drive on the way to Florida. Wanted to watch the last NCAA game of the day on Friday night. After searching the entire room, there was no remote control in the room. Had to go to the front desk for person on duty to go find one in another room for us. The room we stayed in didnt appear to have been cleaned in days. There was dust covering the mirror, bottom of the nightstand, and dresser. There was trash on the floor under the beds and what appeared to be tissue paper with blood on it on the bathroom floor. To top the stay off, my wife went to take a shower after waking up the next morning to find there was no shower curtain on our tub. We needed to wait another 8 hours until we made our destination in Florida to take showers. This hotel had signs asking to pardon their dust as they remodeled but, it was quite apparent that no one is checking the rooms and hallways for basic cleanliness and amenities that should be in every hotel room.
We stayed here about 4 years ago and had a great experience so we were coming thru the area again so we were like yay we will just stay there again. I really really wish we wouldnt have. The first room they sent us to hadnt been cleaned the sheets were on the floor towels on the table etc. So we went and asked for another room. Front desk guy apologized gave us another room. It looked like it hadnt been vacuumed or dusted in a month. The furniture all looked dirty.. desk and sink both had stuff on them. The whole hotel just looked so dirty and runned down. Very disappointed.
Hotel was easy to get to, not much traffic. Large room which made it nice for my family of four. Room needs an update and super cleaning. Our room was gross. I wouldn’t let my kids sit on the furniture besides the beds. Couch, chair and bench have huge stains. Found chips in or bathroom floor, bathtub has a calcium like buildup in the drain. There is a nice outdoor area but it looks like construction began and has never been finished.
Positive: Guest services. Negative: I was put into a double but paid for a king. Uncomfortable for my husband and I. The sink was not only leaking but when we tried to use it the water ran through it like there was a large hole in the bottom. We couldnt change rooms because it was sold out
Comfort Suites at Kennesaw State Univ is currently undergoing remodeling and the rooms that are not yet remodeled are in pitiful shape and housekeeping is short staffed and unable to keep up with normal housekeeping. Based on what I saw and my family (in other rooms), apparently housekeeping apparently changes out dirty linens and towels and that is about it.
I added pictures to back up my claim. They may not ever see the light of day. Google may have to approve of the images, I assume. This place is dirty. My room had greasy fingerprints on the furniture, pieces of chicken and pieces of an black, cruddy, unrecognizable object. White substances on the couch, dirty walls and the floor wasn’t just dirty underneath my bed but everywhere else. The halls were just as bad. Not to mention the fact that the elevator permit had not been updated. The customer service representative at the front desk was clueless and seemed to have an attitude . I decided not to even bother her, I called Choice Hotels instead. I checked into the hotel on 01/9/2021.
Our stay at this Comfort Suites was excellent. When we arrived, our room was ready, and it was very clean. The grounds are beautiful, and the exercise area was open (yay!). There is a sweet little outdoor area outside of the first floor that was popular with guests. The staff was following Covid protocols and there was big plexiglass covering on the desk area. The breakfast was the typical Covid pre-packaged breakfast that we found throughout our travels, but it is always a little of a disappointment when you are used to more plentiful choices. The location of the hotel makes it the best - close to the city and still picturesque. The hotel was quiet, even though there was a youth group staying there. Staff were very nice.
Stayed at this hotel when we can to town for my brothers wedding. Decent place. Under construction so alot of dust. No hot breakfast though which would have been nice to know before. Lobby area will be very nice when finished. Rooms need the same tlc. We had cobwebs in the window of our room. Told front desk and all the said was OK never cleaned it. It makes me wonder if they are actually cleaning the rooms better than before.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its in the process of being renovated, but we did not experience any inconvenience associated with that process. Lobby renovation is basically complete, and now they said they would begin renovating each floor, one at a time. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Very convenient to outlet mall, restaurants and college. This hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable with many pillow for our king size bed. The sofa and chair sitting area was a great place to share some quality time with our friends at the end for the evening before retiring to our private rooms. The breakfast was nice with a waffle maker available among no other items and juices. Would stay here again.
The room was clean. The pillows were very comfortable. The bed was a little firm. The staff was friendly. A/C worked well. The location is actually really great. When we went it was in desperate need of a pressure washing, and while it was late when we arrived, the exterior was very dark so it looked almost sketch. I knew it was a good hotel cause I had pre-booked, but if I was just driving by I would not have picked it. Im glad we did though, it was a nice stay.
5 stars!!!!! Everything was top notch. Front desk staff Christine B.and Deon was very helpful, very professional. They both exceeded my expectations. The wonderful Free breakfast served daily was delicious and plentiful with fresh fruit, waffles, eggs bacon, sausages and so much more items were scrumptious. The breakfast staff was great. Finally my rooms were impeccable and the shuttle driver was very professional, respectful and timely.
The hotel was dirty and beat up. As soon as you entered the lobby, the furniture and carpeting looked stained and dirty. The furniture in lobby and room was gouged and worn. Get to the elevator and it was filthy. The floor looked like it had never been mopped and a piece of carpet thrown on top of the filthy floor had never been vaccumed and when the doors closed they were smeared and dirty. In the room, the lighting in the bathroom was so dim it was almost like having a night light on. The TV was cheap and the picture distorted. I would not recommend this hotel.
The room was filthy. There was trash in the trash can when we checked in. The bed looked like someone had been laying in it. The covers were all wrinkled up. The wall was nasty. It appeared as though someone had killed a bug and it was splattered on the wall. The bathroom had dirty wash clothes and the soap in the shower, I am assuming was from the last guest, because it was used. I will never, never, never, stay at this hotel again. I would rather sleep in my car. When I reported my concerns to the front desk, I was advised that they have had other complaints about the housekeeper for that floor and that I needed to let the manager know in the morning.
This was one of the better Choice Hotels that we have stayed at. It was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was very roomy and modern. Everyone that we came into contact with was very friendly. The breakfast was adequate for this small of a hotel. It had a pretty good variety. The pool was a very good sized one. The deep end was 5 ft. The water was comfortable. The location of the hotel was very convenient, right off the interstate. No car noise though. The only thing I would like to see them improve is the beds. They are very high off the floor and not very comfortable. Do plan to return to this hotel when in the Atlanta area again.
Im local, but needed some quiet time away from noise and roommates for a very important set of working interviews. So I had a two-night respite at the Comfort Suites. The hotel was very quiet, and the bedding was ultra-comfortable. I have trouble with my back but felt great after sleeping here. Another highlight of my stay was the indoor heated pool, since I love to swim. It was also a quiet area and I had it to myself the times I went for a swim. The hotels complimentary breakfast was very good, and very fresh. I would recommend it for travelers as well as for locals looking for a weekend getaway not far from home... The wifi was free and fast, and the room had a fridge and microwave.
Great hotel. Breakfast, wifi, location, friendly staff, decent pricing. I love that the rooms are much larger than the Avergage hotel room. The bathrooms look like theyve recently been remodeled which is nice but its definitely wasnt done dress-right-dress. Beds were comfortable and everything seemed fresh and clean. We did run into a problem with the heated pool being ice cold which was a problem for us and the kids but otherwise a great stay. I would recommend and would stay again.
Have been coming to this hotel for at least 6 years on way home from Florida and little or nothing has been done to upgrade the rooms. Its time. Need to improve cleanliness of rooms. Rates are competitive in Atlanta. Rooms are smaller than other Comfort Suites. Next year when we stop at this motel if nothing has been done to upgrade rooms and improve cleanliness of the rooms, we will choose another motel in the future years.
I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel lobby and surrounding areas was clean and well kept. A nice outdoor patio area and fireplace. Inside pool and gym facilities were very small but pool probably adequate for kids. Room was clean, beds extremely comfortable. Had a small fridge for drinks. Only complaint was water pressure was a bit low in the shower but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was a good selection of breakfast basics, hot and cold. Overall a nice experience, would stay there again!
The rooms are kind of outdated. It has a box TV. The shower has no mat on the floor of the tub, and you can barely open the microwave. The breakfast was okay, I guess, there was only a few options. The egg was over salted and the sausages were beastly, but everything else was fine. The pool, ugh! The ceiling had mold and the floor of the pool had a yellowish color, which means that they haven’t cleaned the pool in a long time. We told one of the employees that the pool was dirty and the ceiling was dirty, but they didn’t care at all.The hotel has a perfect location, right next to the river, and a beautiful patio, which it the only thing I liked about this hotel.P.S: The doors to the patio don’t work with a card, the doors car scanning thing is broken, so if you try to open the door from the patio with your card, just go through the main entrance.
Was very upset to get to the hotel to find out there is construction going on and it did not say it on the choice hotels website. I have been a long member and we stay at this hotel every time we come. It was horrible. You could barely check in for the construction, there was dust everywhere. If you were checking in nobody could get by you and the workers were all walking right up against you. It was so loud you couldn’t heat the front desk lady. She was not pleasant at all when expressed my concern with construction. She said I’m going to put you on third floor so you won’t hear anything it’s really loud on this floor from the construction so we are not putting anyone on this floor. Get up to room and she sent us to a dirty room. So go back downstairs and she said oh I put you in the wrong room then proceeds to tell me to go to that floor. I said no I don’t want this floor you just told me you wasn’t putting anyone on this floor because of construction. She said this is all I have? The manager told me they would not be working til 11 the next morning because it was Sunday. Nope they were out there working at 8 z I was livid! So mad. We always stay here and never have had any problems but this will probably be our last there. Very disappointed in choice right now. You have to make people aware there is construction.
The hotel was decent. I enjoyed the staff they were nice and prompt when checking kn and out. I think they should check the bath tub drains more often to make sure they arent clogged before each guess. They should also check into new mattresses these werent as comfortable as some places I have stayed. I would recommend them though and I would stay here again.
I found the room itself to be clean and nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable - I slept like a baby. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, too. I thought their breakfast was pretty doggone decent, too. I was able to catch a special that Choice Hotels was running at the time for a discounted rate if you booked a 2+ night stay at their hotel, so I walked away feeling like I had got an excellent value for my money. If Im ever in the Kennesaw area again, I wouldnt hesitate to come back here.
We were there for a week. In that time, none of the outdoor garbage was emptied. Each can was overflowing with garbage on the ground. The staff walked around this mess and never cleaned it up. Fresh toilet paper was not available. Ran out of tissues. The stairwell smelled of cigarette smoke. People kept knocking on the door. I have stayed here before and never experienced this level of filth. Halfway thru stay, asked for clean sheets and made bed myself. Staff was very friendly, but sat around outside smoking.
The hotel is modern looking, very clean, and in a nice location. I had a good experience. I have stayed at this hotel in the past. With the exception of one stay, I have always had a great experience. I am not sure if they have the same management of not, but the hotel is in great shape and I was satisfied with my stay. Years ago, I stayed at this hotel and was locked out of the room due to a technical problem.A maintenance person had to be called to cut thru the wall. I had to sit it the lobby for hours after 1:00 am after returning from a football game. I could not access my medication in my room or my clothes. We were exhausted, but the hotel manager at the time would do nothing to compensate us for our stay even though we are Choice Privileges members. I did not stay at the hotel for quite some time after that awful experience. I am glad I stayed again, as everything was wonderful. Perhaps there is a new manager. The breakfast was decent, the facilities were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would recommend.
The staff were very helpful, out side of the hotel generally clean, except for a variety of trash apparently left by hotel guest in the parking lot. The room was clean and neat. The mattress should have been replaced, the cover pad made it more comfortable. Breakfast was nicely prepared and there was plenty of food. The price break was very nice for the room that I had. I paid a lot more for Comfort Inn in Poplar Bluff the following night.
This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting our grandkids (and mom and Dad). The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and the included breakfast was delicious with something for everyone. The room was large and the bed extremely comfortable. We loved the pool and the outdoor fire pit. Some evenings they set out cheese, crackers and veggies, a really nice touch. I will stay here again!!!
We were impressed when we drove onto the property of this older hotel. It has a large covered approach, a sunken garden area with a patio and fireplace, and is nicely landscaped. We were greeted by a friendly clerk who went the extra mile to assure that our stay was enjoyable. Great loacation for visiting historical sites or Kennesaw State. Close to shopping and a variety of eateries. Our room was clean and comfortable but worn. This hotel is being refurbished.
My stay at this Comfort Suites, surpassed my expectations. Please dont let the old look of the signage on the building deter your stay (I was almost ready to change my reservation, because the outside of the building looks a little old. I am glad that I didnt, The interior was very clean and appealing. I was surprised to find meatballs and light snacks available for happy hour (nice touch). The internet (which is always high on my list, becasue I do so much work while in a hotel on business) was very very good. BUT the best part came later, when I crawled into bed- the BEST, most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in, Let me add, I slept in a Heavenly bed the previous week at a spa & resort hotel in Savannah, and that bed did not hold a candle to the comfort of this bed. Awesome Stay....
We only stayed one night, but we loved this place. The outdoor fireplace area was beautiful and the indoor heated saltwater pool was wonderful. The guy at the front desk was beyond pleasant and very friendly. The breakfast was your typical continental style. As with all of them ,it could be better, but free is free, right? The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was as good as it gets. Very nice. The location as far as dining goes couldnt be better. This hotel is essentially across the interstate from Kennesaw State. The parking is kind of stretched out, so you may have a decent walk. Overall we loved it here.
Excellent room with attractive granite shower surround, floor tiles. Great assistance for some business items. They also provided appetizers from 4:30 to 6:30 which were generous and tasty. The breakfast items were good too. It was a pleasant surprise with easy on and off exit and quiet location after that. Will definitely use this Comfort Suites again!
The rooms were updated and clean. After a long flight we were extremely happy that the beds were comfortable! We also used the pool and the workout room. The workout room had everything I needed except for water. We all enjoyed the saltwater pool, the temperature was perfect. Overall, we felt the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced.
This place was absolutely perfect! Check in was easy - staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. My daughter loved the pool, it was a quiet restful nights sleep and the morning breakfast was outstanding! They even had managers snacks in the evening. Would recommend this stay to anyone and will defiantly stay there again.
Weve been staying at this hotel since it was new. But it has steadily gone downhill to the point that we probably wont stay here in the future. There are cracked floor tiles, peeling wallpaper, and wood trim along the floor that all the finish has rubbed off. The sink stopper in out bathroom would not work, so I left the water running the whole time I was shaving. And the grout in the bathroom floor has the appearance that it has been mopped repeatedly with a dirty mop. Really gross looking. The front desk is something else. The guy that checked us in was eating at the desk when we first checked in. We had to interrupt his snack time to check in. Thats the first time I have ever seen anyone eating anything at the front desk at any hotel in all my years of traveling. And the front desk has become a loitering and chatting place for employees. In short, it has become a well worn place in bad need of a renovation and its employees have become very unprofessional.
I called and made reservations for this hotel when I was about 2 hours away based off location and google reviews. The night lady was very friendly on the phone and when I got to the hotel. I stayed in a king suite and was very satisfied with my room. It was a lot nicer than I expected and very clean! The bed was very comfortable and I had 0 problems with my room. I would have enjoyed the pool but unfortanatly it was closed. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and think the price was reasonable for the luxury of the room.
This hotel is convenient as its located close to the interstate. However you have to watch where you park. I have been coming here for years and have seen many vehicles get broken into. I started staying here the year it opened. The rooms havent changed much and could use updating. The staff is always friendly. Happy Hour isnt what it use to be. Price has raised some as well.
The room was excellent, staff super friendly, and breakfast one of the best in the choice hotel chain. I only gave 3 stars because some of the things they offer are not available or broke. I’m uploading some photos with date stamps to see how long it takes them to fix. The lobby computers were broke, the indoor swimming pool was closed, the universal workout bench was out of order.
The room here is fantastic. It is one of the coolest rooms Ive been in. The carpet off of the elevator to the pool is coming up though, and the carpet outside seems to be in a little disrepair. They also had a small mix up that over-charged our card. However they were very generous in fixing it. Overall this place is pretty cool. I would stay here again.
Hotel was exceptionally clean. The front desk staff were very pleasant, professional and accommodating. I stayed several days this trip and was greeted by name upon each entry. The handicap accessible rooms are truly accessible including shower stools in a roll in shower. The pool even has a handicap assist lift! The smoke and pet free environment leave the rooms smelling fresh. I will be returning to the area and will not consider staying anywhere else!
Everything was wonderful. Location was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, I loved the pillows and that they offered firmer and softer options, breakfast was satisfying and had several options. Staff was friendly and courteous. The only con would have been if I had stayed on the ground floor near the pool. There was a musty smell that was to be expected and it felt damp in the hallway even though they had an air purifier running.
Hotel is well maintained, close to shopping, restaurants, easy access to I75. Free breakfast was satisfactory. But what makes this property excel is the staff. It was a busy, busy weekend with nearby university commencement and high school baseball tournaments. But the front desk personnel still took the time to listen to concerns about noise and put us in what had to be the quietest room there. The room was very spacious and the beds were wonderfully comfy. We stay at Comfort Suites a lot when traveling. This location hits the top of our top five list. Oh. There have been comments posted in earlier reviews about slow/poor wifi. Management appears to have heard and addressed. The fourth floor (the one we were on) has a dedicated wifi server. Speeds were fine and signal excellent.
I stayed at this hotel while attending a training and the Kennesaw State University KSU Center. The proximity was great, as the hotel is located right across the street, and the hotel provides guests of Kennesaw events with a KSU rate. I enjoyed my stay because the staff was very courteous and the rooms were spacious and somewhat tidy. However, there was a shirt left from a previous guest in my room. It was behind a chair, so I assume that the housekeepers did not notice it while cleaning the room. Nonetheless, it should be a best practice to make sure nothing is missed while cleaning as a hygiene precaution. Also, the connectivity was a problem throughout my stay. I ended up using my computer in one area of the room (because there was some work that I HAD to get done), but never could use my mobile devices (phone or tablet) for video streaming, so I used my cellular data instead. I would also suggest having bottled water in the rooms for guests. Even if I have to pay to drink it, it would be good to have it there.Otherwise, like I said, I did enjoy my stay and will likely stay again if I revisit the campus. Ill just have to bring a hot spot, my own water and some Lysol spray next time. ;-) For an out-of-towner, you cant beat that price when it comes to safety and proximity!
This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms were up to date and clean. Having a seating area in the room is a plus. The only drawback to the room was that the TV would not move to make it easier to view while sitting on the loveseat/pullout. The only improvement that I could find would be to include more variety of items at breakfast (very carb heavy) and have breakfast last a little while longer in the mornings. Overall, great experience and would stay here again!
Some of the reviews I read prior to booking made me a bit skeptical but Im so glad we visited. The hotel is warm and inviting, staff is great, courteous, professional and accommodating, the rooms are clean and comfortable (we had reserved 2 separate rooms). Breakfast could do with a little tweaking to step away from the norm that it has been for the past 7 or so years. Consider adding some additional choices that are unique to the south so that guests experience a change. Some furniture, especially those under the pergola needs to be cleaned. Although we were near Kennesaw University and some students were staying at the hotel, it was never noisy or rowdy so that was really important. Thank you for your service Management and Staff of Comfort Suites at Kennesaw University, we are happy guests :)
My son was getting married the weekend of May 30th. I had reserved several different rooms with different arrival times over the weekend. Front desk staff cheerfully and patiently helped me set up these reservations before we arrived and helped me manage them over the course of the weekend. Our room and bedding was very clean. It was also a very quiet room even though it faced the main entrance. The breakfast was adequate though limited in choice somewhat.
From 2018 to 2019 I have stayed at Comfort Suites at Kennesaw State University over 7 times. Overall, I find this place to be clean, quiet, and spacious. There was one stay when the guests in the room directly above mine were being very loud after 10pm, but one complaint to the desk person was all it took to solve that problem. The included breakfast is well-tended, and has always included adequate choices to satisfy the needs of my wife, kids, and myself. There are numerous eateries (fast food and table service) within a couple of minutes. A trip from this Comfort Suites to the Lakeview sports complex has never taken me more than 15 minutes. Considering all that Ive mentioned above, and adding that the price has always been more than fair and in line with or below the areas competition, Im giving my experiences with this Comfort Suites 5 stars.
The room was comfortable and along with the lobby and hallways were all clean. Breakfast was excellent as always. My only complaints are 1. The indoor heated pool was ice cold.2. I always get put into a handicap room with only a shower (would prefer a bathtub). We usually check in late evening when all rooms have been filled, but I’m only in town because my sons plays baseball close by. I don’t have it specified that I want or need a handicap room. I like the space that comes with the room but not at the expense of a bathtub. 3. The water was never hot. Just a touch above luke warm.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past without any problems, but this time was much different. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par. The maintenance of the room was lacking also. There were nail clippings and dental floss lying on the floor that should have been vacuumed up by housekeeping. The lamp shade was cracked and the robe hook was missing from the bathroom door. Certainly this was a disappointment. Not worth the price or points paid. The beds were comfortable, the shower was very good and the A/C worked well but the fan would not run continually.
They walked right into our rooms without knocking or any kind of notice posted anywhere or a call or anything while we were in the room. To change out a chair cause they were getting new furniture That is totally unacceptable what if we were in the shower or something. They could have waited until we checked out to change out the one chair.
This hotel looks newly renovated. Nice rooms, clean, comfortable beds. We had one of the suites, which consisted of two queen beds, a partial divider, and a pull out sofa bed that was a twin at best. The only negative was the second queen bed was so close to the ac unit you cant get in without climbing over the whole bed, and it seemed to restrict the air flow. I slept by it and froze all night, the other people in the room were warm. The breakfast was ok, hot eggs, bacon, pastry, fruit, yogurt, coffee. The pool was out of order, the business computer out of order, the drink cooler was out of order. Despite all that, the room was good for the price.
Hotel was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. WiFi was poor. My big complaint is the layout of the dining area. It is extremely small for the number of guests the hotel holds. Inadequate seating and the buffet line is poorly arranged. The waffle maker is situated in the middle of the line rather than an end. Combined with the inadequate space, it was very difficult to navigate around all the guests waiting for their turn at the waffle maker. Breakfast was not a pleasant experience. Folks can get hostile waiting for a waffle.
We visited today to see about keeping my family here for my wedding weekend and everything met/exceeded my expectations! Staff was nice, everything was clean and looked new and spacious. Toured multiple rooms and all have a pull out bed in addition to the bed you pay for. Definitely considering this for my family!
I booked this hotel specifically for the pool which I could not swim in the first night because it was ice cold. Once I complained they closed the pool for my entire stay.My TV kept cutting out and it took 3.5 days for them to finally switch it out. I was working from my room while my husband was in school so the tv not working was a huge problem. The elevator went out which normally would not be a big deal but my husband had a hurt hip and walking up the stairs was extremely painful for him.The cleaning staff was extremely nice, thorough and enjoyable. However the front desk staff I was complaining to about the above problems were nonchalant. I would have moved hotels but since there was a storm no hotel rooms were available. When one did become available it was too much of a hassle to move all my computer equipment and clothes we had brought for our week stay.
We have stayed here before and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The beds are wonderful and guarantee a good nights sleep. We have noticed that the hotel is getting older and needs an uplift. The pool doesnt always work. The breakfast is mediocre but fairly adequate. Things are beginning to wear out.
I rarely write a review but my stay at the Comfort Suites in Kennesaw deserves some feedback. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Over a five 5 day stay here are some of the issues I encountered. You dont want a first-floor room. Too much humidity (from the pool) which had the wallpaper in my bathroom peeling off and was held up with staples. The bathroom wasnt clean at check in…there was a piece of old fruit on the floor. The A/C didnt work properly in my room so the next morning I asked the front desk to have it fixed. That evening I was told it was fixed…it wasnt. The next morning, I asked to be moved to a different room. I went to use the exercise room only to find it was closed for unknown reasons. Housekeeping came during the day but didn’t make the bed and took the used towels but didn’t bother to replace with clean ones (this happened daily). Emptied the trash but didn’t put the cans back in their place. The internet service was spotty everywhere and worked poorly on the first floor. The elevator broke during my stay and was out of order for several days. The stairway is smelly and the carpet is filthy. The staff was friendly but the attention to detail here is lacking. Won’t stay here again.
Great little hotel in the rolling foothills of northern Georgia. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the hot breakfast is great. They also have an indoor pool, fitness room and beautiful outdoor fireplace. Id definitely recommend it and plan to visit again.
I will have to say I stay at choice hotels at least 100 days a year for work. And this is the best I have stayed. Christine checked me in and was the best. She really treats everyone kind. Room was clean breakfast was great. All the staff treated my wife and I great. Thanks everyone at comfort suietes.
We made a quick trip to Kennesaw to visit our DIL & 2 granddaughters and chose to stay here. The room was roomy, clean & comfortable. We had requested a crib/pack-n-play, and the staff had it set up before we got there, which was so helpful. The desk staff was very helpful in helping us find directions to local places and were just generally friendly. The location was quiet. Our room looked out over the outdoor space, which wouldve been a great place to sit & visit had the weather been nicer. Would definitely stay here again!!
The staff are great people and very welcoming. We stayed 4 nights and loved every bit of it. We enjoyed all the amenities you had to offer- pool, gym, washer dyer, flat screen cable TV and a great breakfast! The room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable.
The room was clean and nicely designed. Parking is limited. The breakfast was very disappointing. Staff was very nice. They had excuses though why things didnt work properly and why the pool was closed. Elevator interior smelled really sour. There is only one elevator. If you get a room with everything working its a decent place to stay but a little pricey when things dont work and pool remains out of service.
Starting with my pre-arrival phone call with Carleen this was one of the best stays I have ever had with any Choice or other chain motel. It all started with a little mix up on my reservation that Carleen took care of in style. Upon my arrival I was greeted at the front desk with a smile, and quickly registered and directed to my room. The room was extremely clean, and fresh smelling. During the course of my stay I was always greeted with a friendly smile by the entire staff including the fine folks that took care of the breakfast bar. Carleen was there with a smile on her face and very helpful in every way. The breakfast bar was very good, and each day there was a variation from sausage, ham and bacon. The breakfast area was clean and well attended. The layout of the motel provides for a relaxing atmosphere. There was a outside sitting area with a fireplace and surrounded by trees and vegetation. All I can say is the next time I am in this area I fully intend to stay at this facility again. My thanks to the entire staff.
My daughter stayed at Comfort Suites Kennesaw because my daughter was presenting at the National Conference on Undergraduate Studies. Her university only had 2 participants, so my daughter asked if I could attend with her so that she would not be alone. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful town and the polite staff at the hotel made it even more enjoyable. We did have to pay for the conference and all of the expenses out of our own pockets. It would have been nice to have had a discount rate. However, we did still enjoy our stay and will continue to stay at Comfort Suites when we travel.
Awesome stay. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Pleasant friendly helpful staff. Loved the indoor pool although we didnt have time to use it beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Beautiful interior design great breakfest choices just wish there was flavored coffee creamer french vanilla all the chpice hotels need french vanilla in my opinion because i always have to find a gas station to get my coffee
We came here after checking in to suburban extended stay right down the road, which was so disgusting we left.. I told the lady at the desk what we had just encountered at the other hotel.. she was so nice and she even offered to let us see the room before checking in!! :) the room was so clean, bed was comfy, and good cold air!! No bad smell!! Comfort Inn just earned a new customer!!! 🙃
I have been going to this hotel for years. Although i am satisfied and still continue to stay at this location the ammenities are lacking from what they use to be. This hotal needs updating and the fitness center keeps getting smaller. Happy hour selection is down from previous years as well. FYI- They have no liquor license therefore there is no alocohol. However i was fine with that but expected more than i recieved. Overall hotel is decent but could use some updating and better management. Hope this review helps...
Overall this hotel is one of the better ones in the CS brand. The owners goes above and beyond when it comes to clean & fresh smelling accommodations. They have a small managers reception in the evening with small quick bites, nothing fancy... but a nice little something to tide you over till dinner. Very convienently located near KSU and many restaurant options.
Nice hotel, Quiet as not to busy on dates stayed. Room was clean. Breakfast was about average forthe level of hotel. Some hot breakfast items. Pool is indoor but not heated during our stay making it to cold to swim. Rooms up to date and clean. Staff fast and courteous. Would recommend for any businessstays as convenient to many Kennesaw businesses. Cracker barrel across the street and other restaurants close by.
What a great nights sleep! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! From the outside, to the lobby, and the room! It is conveniently located to the University, restaurants, shopping and I 75. Had the best sleep ever in this bed! It was totally booked but so quiet we felt like we were the only ones there. The breakfast was very good, and the dishes were kept full at all times.
Spacious and comfortable room, with clean bedding and bathroom. However, the hotel is showing wear in places and needs a deep cleaning. Dust, crumbs, and candy wrappers spotted in the corners and behind the nightstand. Some of the staff seemed inconvenienced by routine requests. Tasty, ample breakfast served in clean and comfortable surroundings. We were very satisfied during two previous stays at this location, but now, standards are slipping.
I chose Comfort Inn & Suites in Kennesaw, GA as My wife and I traveled on our First Anniversary mostly based on the reviews, and the interaction with the Management of the Hotel and the reviewers. I felt that we would find a clean well ran location. I was completely blown away with how clean, and perfect everything was. The check-in process was quick and easy. The room was much more than I expected. This is by far my favorite place to stay. If traveling though again in need of a place to stay, I will definitely stay here again. The Night Auditor seemed very knowledgeable, and friendly. I would politely suggest that training on how to answer customers questions about local activities, establishment, and etc., would just make the experience better for all customers. This was observed with another Guest asking questions about where to go for some activity, and the reply was - I dont live here, and I dont go out. This is not a complaint just a suggestion to make the impeccable service even better.
The Accessible room was not accessible by handicapped standards. A coffee table was placed directly in front of the sofa and hindered access to the rest of the room. There was barely enough room to access the closet in front of the second bed by the window. Terrible layout for an ACCESSIBLE room. The sleeper sofa was a single (every other Comfort suites I have stayed at has the double or queen sofa). This should be disclosed on the room reservation website (it was NOT). The shower water pressure was terrible - in fact, there was no significant water pressure at all - it was rainfall water pressure (and I attempted to adjust it with the adjustable shower head but to no avail). The sheets on the bed were the roughest I have ever experienced and actually abraded my skin. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There were pipes above the ceiling that made noises all night long. The stairwell leading from the third to the second floor smelled of mildew and moistness. The breakfast was abysmal. The eggs were watered down, runny, and undercooked. The sausage was undercooked. The fruit choices were limited to nasty looking apples/oranges. The juice was terrible - I dont think it was juice. I always stay at a Comfort Suites because it easily accommodates my family of 5. I will NEVER stay at this hotel in this location again. It was a terrible experience and the worst I have every experienced at a Comfort Suites.
I am the Front Desk Manager at another Choice Hotel in South Georgia, My name is Sarah, with that being said, I have never had such an incredible experience at ANY other Choice Hotel in my life! At this moment I am striving to make my staff as attentive and dedicated as the staff at this Comfort Suites. I would also like to say that the accommodations here are just excellent. I would like for the staff at this Comfort to be recognized for their outstanding work ethic and positive attitudes. I was there on Halloween weekend as well as the weekend after Thanksgiving. I was there to visit my daughter in the hospital and this staff made an agonizing trip turn into such an enjoyable stay. After we left at the end of October I was looking forward to coming back in November. Amanda, Brook, Sarah, & Quinn are the kind of staff I want at my hotel! These girls went above and beyond their job descriptions, especially Brook! I will never stay anywhere else when I am traveling thru the area. We visit family in Illinois twice a year and now we can visit my extended Choice family at Comfort Suites on the way thru Kennesaw! I have never been so pleased with a hotel stay!
The location of this property is good: right off I-75 and close to restaurants. Their web site indicated the pool was closed, so I was not surprised by that, but the fitness center was a huge disappointment: only 4 pieces of equipment with only 3 working; the room was warm and stuffy; the TV was not situated so that one could view it while on the equipment. The AC in the room was right next to the bed which caused someone sleeping on one side to get a blast of cold air over them all night. Breakfast was passable, but the scrambled eggs were runny and undercooked. Overall, we felt the nightly rate was too high for the quality of the property.
This hotel is fantastic. It is clean and the staff is top-notch. My only complaint is that things run a little slowly here. First, the tub drain was obviously clogged because while I showered, I immediately noticed I was standing in a pool of soapy water. Second, the internet is ok. It does the job, but if you need to be online for work, it is definitely slower than I have experienced in other hotels.
This hotel is a Petrie (not sure if I spelled that right) dish for mold. The bottom level where the pool is has a horrible dank air quality that festers moisture and this same air just filters upward from the bottom. The bathrooms are not really actually clean, mounds of dirt and grime in corners and crevices of the flooring and shower. I would never stay here again, or recommend it to anyone
The staff at check in and housekeeping/maintenance were very friendly the first day! The breakfast was a big disappointment, it was not refilled unless asked which we had to do several times. The counter area was not kept clean or maintained at all. Its an older hotel with an indoor pool. There is a strong mildew smell throughout the hotel that was covered up with a strong smelling spray that housekeeping frequently sprayed in lobby and halls that was overwhelming. Kids enjoyed the pool which was run down but didnt bother them. Easy access to 75.
This is a very nice property and I love the layout of the room. If the owner/manager will remove the dozen or so dead palm trees from the landscaping, it would make the property a 10 out of 10. If I were coming off the interstate and had a choice of hotels nearby, the dead stuff would have sent me elsewhere. I stayed there because a convention I was attending had selected this very nice hotel for our group.
Some of the staff was friendly and some seem bothered to even be at work. The room was actually above my expectations, however the pillows were small and there was no way for me to control the climate in my room; specifically to leave the fan on with the AC unit. I think this is a nice hotel and has Potential with better management.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and accommodating but the pool was closed....again. It was closed, temporarily the last time I stayed there three months ago. Other than that the stay was great. Wonderful breakfast in the morning, even a nice evening snack. Clean rooms and if you forget something, they have it. I will stay here again.
We had a great time here. The hotel is newer, bright and clean and smoke free. The bed was so comfortable. breakfast was pelntiful and well presented. The pool was great with our granddaughters. there is a small gym. This is close to lots of restaurants, stores and the highway. We have a microwave and minifridge and we went to the minimart at the Chevron across the street to stock up. There is a nice courtyard with a fireplace, the weather was great, so we did sit out a bit. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
This year my husband and I wanted to start a new tradition which was staying at a hotel for Christmas instead of our own home. we dont have children to celebrate it with so why not. so upon our arrival we were greeted by Tonya she was very friendly check in was great and the hotel looked good get up to our room and get ready to take a shower so we can head out for the day. and our shower head falls off i mean big mess after we get it put back on i go and tell some one they said they would have some come up to the room in the morning. never saw anyone. the accommodations we ok they said that the pool is heated the only thing heated was the pool room and the exercise room smelled like there was rats living in there they had said they did some remodeling and from my point of view looked like it was still going on. the fire place out side which is controlled by a box that controls the fire place was broke no propane for it and they said it was getting fixed. so the amount of money i paid for the hotel i dont think was worth it. it would be greatly appreciated if some one would contact me about my stay instead of filling out a survey.
The hotel is okay. The rooms are decent. The staff is too busy on their smart phones playing games which is more important that greeting guests. The hotel gym was out of order. I asked the staff member if they had any passes to a local gym. The staff member said the manger looked into it but it was too expensive of an option. Thats not an acceptable answer. I had to buy daily passes at a local gym.
Hotel was clean, felt like faux down pillow/comforter and comfortable beds, a.c system ok, but shut off and on with room seeming to get warm before air would come on then get really cold. Kicked covers off/on. Internet connection slow, but better on hotel computers. Kids enjoyed pool. Floors were clean, shower pressure was not too bad. Cool sinks! Breakfast was fine. Just dont like the premade fake eggs most hotels offer as did this one. Stuck with bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, deviled eggs and danishes. Easy check in/out. Overall a pleasant stay.
Internet was out the last evening of my stay. I called front desk and she stated that the IT guy had been notified. It remained out throughout my checkout the next morning leaving me to believe this was not a high priority for the IT guy. It probably just needed a reboot. Also the fitness center was quite lacking and the pool was closed for repairs during the last half of my stay, although I did not see any work being done. However, everything else was really good. Great accommodations, good breakfast, nice staff, clean rooms, easy to find. I would stay there again.
Wonderfully clean and comfortably designed room and bathroom. Loved the fridge and microwave as well as large work and sitting area in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Avoid the 1st floor (basement where the pool and exercise room are located) if you have mold/mildew allergies, it smells horrible like there has been a water leak that has not been cleaned up for a significant amount of time. Although I do not have allergies, the stench kept me away from the area. Since you enter on the 2nd floor of the hotel, it is very possible to avoid the area.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. (We have a Comfort Inn where I live, and it is not a place where I would stay.) The staff were helpful and friendly. It was very clean, and the breakfast each morning was very good. I would stay there again, if I was in the area. Our only big problem was the high-speed wifi - it was definitely not high speed during our stay. We had a lot of trouble connecting, and it was extremely slow when we could get on.
The hotel was very clean. We were in town for KSU Orientation so I was with my daughter and one of her friends. I felt safe staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only concern was with the breakfast - there wasnt any coffee when we first arrived to eat (@7:20am) so I had to wait for the urns to be filled and the eggs were not good. My girls ate bagels and drank orange juice so they were happy. With my daughter attending KSU in the fall Im sure Ill stay here often,Proud KSU Owl Mom
Pro: Comfort Suites of Kennesaw was nice. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping and close to Kaiser and Kennesaw College. The area felt safe. The hotel was quiet. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Lots of outlets that are convenient to get to beside the TV. You dont have to climb behind the furniture to get to them and they are about 4ft from the floor. After walking around on the carpet all day with white socks on, I was pleasantly surprised to find at the end of the day that my socks were still clean.Cons: Only problem we had was with the shower head. It fell off when my husband got in to take a shower. Minor annoyances: There is no hand held shower massage and there is no magnifier mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom is a bit dark and the light on the wall reflects on the mirror making it really hard to put on makeup. The mirror in the little hall way has dim lighting also making it hard to put on makeup. Not crazy about the parking lot layout. But it was OK with no problem parking.I would recommend this hotel.
The beds were extremely comfortable, we didnt want to get up to continue on our trip the next morning. The clerk at the front desk when we checked in was very sweet and cheerful. Breakfast selections were great and we enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night.
I liked that it was updated. The customer service representative was kind and professional. Everything APPEARED clean. My room was spacious, (handicap accessible, king suite) appeared clean. Upon further inspection the mirror in the bathroom had toothpaste spit spots and the hairdryer had long hairs attached to it. A few of the towels had large black stains on them. The shower head didnt work that well and if you like hot showers forget it. The SHOWER WAS COLD WATER ONLY! The breakfast had rubbery eggs of some sort and disgusting sausage patties. They did have waffles but I didnt try them. I had enough. Even the coffee was of poor quality. This place did have a pool. It was out of order. They had a work out room and a beautiful patio with a outdoor fireplace that wasnt lit. So for the price I paid, I will not be back. It was a convenient place to stop at the time but there are other places in the area that are probably cheaper and cleaner with better food. So wont be back.
We came to attend a birthday celebration for a friend in Acworth over the weekend. We use Choice Hotels when we travel when possible. The location was beautiful, easy to find and close to restaurants. We were wonderfully surprised when we entered our room. The decor was updated and everything smelled fresh and clean. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Comfort Suites is one of the best hotels in the area. If you are looking for a nice place that is affordable then this is the right place! Very friendly staff, they truly go above and beyond to please the guest. Fine breakfast (it is free of course) so definitely not amazing but do-able. Nice indoor heated pool and very up to date rooms. In a very convent location near the mall and restaurants. My family and I truly love our stays here.
If cleanliness if important to you, dont stay here! There were lots of gross stains on the walls and upholstery of our room. Someone dropped a breakfast sausage in the stairwell (the elevator was down during our stay), and there it stayed for the better part of the day. There was trash in the hotel entryway that was there when we arrived and still there when we departed. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, just not the best at cleaning, obviously.
Wonderful experience at this hotel. Great rates. Comfortable rooms. Definitely a great find. Staff was extremely nice. Young gentleman who checked us in was very knowledgeable about the area and all questions I asked him. I believe his name was Chance. On leaving the next morning the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again on future trips through your area.
After returning back to our room around 130am, we pulled the covers back on one of the double beds and hair was everywhere. We are Currently staying at the hotel. So I called the front desk no answer, after several tries and letting the phone ring for minutes at a time. We even went to the front desk Walked around the offices a no one was working. We did note a backpack in one of the offices but no employees. Very upset, now we are sharing a double bed and pull out sofa. It was obvious these sheets were not changed on this bed and it is disgusting. Due to customer service being no existent and the cleanliness of the bed I do not recommend this hotel😡
This is a nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Im a Choice Platinum member. Before check-out time on our departure date I called and asked for a late checkout (A benefit of Choice membership is the ability to request a late checkout as late as 2 pm). I asked for a one hour extension until noon and was told by the young lady at the front desk You need to get out. The housekeeper is mad. I dont fault the young lady, I fault the hotel management for lack of training of their staff. I left a note at the desk upon leaving explaining what had happened and ask that someone respond to my concern via email. Not surprisingly, I suppose, I never heard from anyone. So, Id probably stay here again since the facility was very nice, but I left this time with a bad impression. Im sure this isnt the way Choice would expect their guests to be treated.
I was very pleased with my stay and the courtesy of the staff. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who might need to stay in the area due to these factors as well as the convenience in location. It is close to the interstate, restaurants, and the Kennesaw continuing Education Center. It was also close to grocery stores and shopping. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay and with the staff at this hotel.
We had an ADA room that was one of the best we have ever stayed with Choice Hotels. It was a large room, with a great roll in shower, large sink area, etc. The only knock would be that it was very difficult to watch TV in bed. You had to angle the TV to the point where part of the screen was blocked by the stand. Breakfast was typical: carbs, carbs, and more carbs, but almost all of the Comfort Suites offer the standard. Coffee was really good though. Will definitely return when our sons CSU Buccaneers face off against the Kennesaw Owls next season.
We stopped at the visitor centre in Georgia and got one of those hotel books they have and decided how far we could drive before dark. I saw that add and said to my sister-in-law that I had a card for points for Choice Hotels and I had not used it. Unfortunately, in the book the price was for one bed and we needed two. It was a little more but we were so impressed with the lobby as it was beautiful, that we decided to stay and I got the senior discount which helped. It was worth the price as we were extremely comfortable and both had a good night sleep on those most comfortable mattresses and pillows. I had an great sleep and I am not normally a good sleeper. Most important is how secure and comfortable you feel at a hotel when you are travelling and Comfort Suites more than filled the bill.
We are staying for a week. All the staff we have experienced have been friendly and helpful, always have a smile and a pleasant comment. There is a very nice outdoor garden and the rooms are well appointed and clean. The free breakfast area is well kept and the occasional afternoon snacks are a real treat.
We encountered several issues on our two nights stay. Would not go back or recommend this hotel. It was OK but too many issues to overlook. First, the gym was closed and the next day they did opened it but A/C not working. The A/C in our room itself did not get cold at all. Our room was not cleaned by housekeeping. We did have the do not disturb sign on but removed when we left around noon. Lastly the Internet was slow and have to sign in repeatly.I did report most of the above complaints and issues. Staff nice but did not apologize each time. I did ask for a manager when we checked out but was told no manager is on duty. It clearly states on the wall that a manager is on duty.
We stay at Comfort Inns and Suites often! This particular Inn is the BEST we have stayed at of ALL Inns! The smell of the complete hotel was very, very good clean. We have not stayed at a cleaner hotel! The rest rooms in the lobby were great as well as the rooms! Suggestions to dine out was very good! Now we know others can meet higher standards if they apply themselves. Very satisfied wit the price of the room. Thanks for a great experience. I made these comments to the lobby staff as we were leaving. Thanks,Jim LittlejohnFrequent user of Choice Hotels
As an experienced business traveler, Ive stayed at my fair share of hotels. This hotel is close to the worst (if not the worst) hotel Ive had the displeasure of experiencing. Although a non-smoking hotel, the bathroom REEKED of smoke. The room itself was dirty and there were food crumbs on the bed. The curtains are only for show (meaning they dont actually close), leaving me to attempt to hang a towel from the window to block out the halogen lights in the parking lot that flooded my room with orange all night long. The hot breakfast was practically inedible. The only saving grace was the waffles that were barely mediocre. Staff neglected to service my room on one of the five nights of my stay prompting me to request that the front desk send someone to empty my trash. No one ever came. Although the hotel is convenient to a number of locations, I would rather pay more and drive further to stay somewhere where I could take off my shoes without fear of acquiring a rare fungal infection.
On a long trip we stopped at this hotel without making a reservation it was not a planned stop just had to rest.It was one of the most welcoming experiences we have had in traveling business or pleasure. The counter staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful.I have book marked this hotel and will stay there when the next trip brings me this way. I highly recommend!Sincerely,Don Liguori
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained rooms and public areas. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Skip the breakfast. There is a Dunkin Donuts around the corner. Fitness center is laughable. Very little equipment and what is there doesnt work. Dont rely on the hotels computer.
The accommodations and service were pretty great for my stay. The only real issue I encountered was the curved shower rod, which seemed to have been loose, which caused it to droop, thus making Tue shower curtain dip toward the center. It made for awkward showers. The staff seemed grateful to be informed of this, which made them seem more attentive.
This hotel is very clean and the bedding is very comfortable. Some of the best pillows that we have ever use. We always bring our pillows from home when we travel. These were better than our own. The staff is very helpful and will to do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one.
This hotel is not what it used to be many years ago. I encountered several problems while on my stay at this hotel and some concerns were never fixed. Those of them that were addressed took over 48 hours. Both phones in the room still didnt work when I left a week later even after notifying the front desk at check :in. Each time I walked past the customer service desk I heard someone else experiencing the same service I was provided. Its really a shame because this use to be a good clean hotel that was value priced. Best of luck to the management to help turn this place back around.....Justin
We found the hotel in a travelers coupon book, which also included a money off coupon. The entire place was so clean and in our case, the handicap room was perfect for my husbands needs. Also the breakfast was great with hot eggs and sausage along with waffles, cereal, fresh fruit etc. We were very happy with our stay there and will look forward to stopping there again next time through!!!
The hotel looks like it needs a paint job on the outside. The maid service is spotty. I had an issue with the a/c. The condensation from the unit was leaking on the rug. I informed the desk clerk and she asked if I wanted a towel. She did not call maintenance. The next day I told the afternoon clerk she finally got maintenance to fix the a/c. The hallways always had some kind of litter in them. Ive been to a lot of hotels around the country and I expect this out of a cheap hotel not a choice hotel!
Went to a Braves Game and decided to stay here! It Was awesome!! Greeted with friendly smiles by every employee in the hotel! They Kept the pool open a little later than normal because I promised my kids they could swim when we got back from the game! Rooms were clean and beautiful! Breakfast was awesome! I was blown away by the hospitality my family received at this hotel! STAY HERE!
Came to spend the weekend with my wife and go to six flags. Ended up also being the same time a basketball tournament was going. Walls are paper-thin! I could hear the kids next to us all night long. The breakfast wasnt good. Eggs over salted, sausage bad, and the only other food besides yogurt and cereal was a waffle that didnt throughly cook. When we got into our room there was a very bright street light shining right into our room. Blinds that wouldnt shut so we had to find a spare blanket to block the light. It smelt like someone had just cleaned the room, very strong smell of cleaning supplies. While it was the cheapest option in the area, weve decided well spend the extra money and find a nicer hotel.
Stay was peaceful, comfortable, relaxing, friendly smiling staff, free breakfast was very excellent never visited a hotel that offered a variety of cooked hot cooked food, most offer dry cereal water down juice and coffee. About 8 minutes from a Super Wal-Mart, near restaurants and gas stations. My only complaints are room was a little dusty this caused my asthma to act up, the water did not get as hot as I liked ( was under luke warm ) and each ice machine in the building was out of order. Hopefully these things will improve during the upgrade. I did notice Construction going on.

2022-06-10Wood floors were a bit sticky, not bad but noticeable. Appears to have been renovated recently. Bathrooms we clean, needs were clean. Beds were good, weve had better weve had a lot worse.New bowl style sink in bathroom is on a counter that is to tall for kids.Ive stayed in better rooms for the price. Overall a decent place to stay with above average outdoor area for hanging out.

2022-03-26Conner more than made up for the fact that there were sheets lacking for the pull out with his kind, focused, and detailed service. He had an attitude of, I care about this place and its operations, as if it were his own establishment. Its an incredibly rare attribute today and worth pointing out. His boss needs to give him a raise immediately. The hotel itself - adequate, very clean.

2021-12-31Positive: I loved the location, close to a lot but not right in the middle of everything. The staff was wonderful. The hot breakfast was a plus. The outdoor space was just serene. The indoor pool and gym were sufficient. I enjoyed staying in more than going out. Negative: The ONLY thing that couldve made it better was if it had a hot tub, but considering the price and type of hotel, that wasnt expected anyway.

2022-05-10I’ve gone here twice now. The first time I went I picked this hotel because of the indoor pool thinking it’d be warm enough to swim in but it definitely wasn’t. So the second time I went, I called to make sure that it’s supposed to be heated and they said it was. Well I went again and it was still cold. So I then decided oh well I’ll run a hot bath, even though I can do that at home, and the tubs drain was broken so it wouldn’t even hold any of water. And I paid $180 which is way overpriced for what I got. Horrible. Never coming back.

2022-05-10This place is not it. Booked on Hotels.com as my party was traveling through the area for the night, not sure why their ratings are so high but they shouldn’t be. This hotel is not “horrible”, just not “great”. Although sheets were clean, bathroom was not. There was a used wash cloth hanging up in the shower when I came in. The floor was also very sticky so I wore my sneakers into the bathroom. Very outdated and poor taste in style. Sink was also too shallow to wash hands….perhaps spend some of that money you waste filling the strangely large “pantry” downstairs that Im sure never is bought from and put some work into staff and building

2022-05-10I will not be staying here again. Although they quickly changed rooms for me and I appreciate that, I would not stay here again. The cost was so expensive for the quality and cleanliness of the room. They also didn’t allow me to have an extra couple of pillows. I am pregnant and I like to sleep with 4 pillows and they denied that.

2022-03-21Positive: Staff was friendly. Negative: Appearance of the hotel from the outside made it look uninviting. One staff person was on duty and there were several checking in. If anyone in the hotel needed help, while church in was occurring, the one staff member has to address all of it.

2022-04-11The pullout bed had dirty sheets, bathroom sink bad a chunk of weird colored dirty residue, shower had someone else’s used soap. Overall made me doubt the cleanliness. I told the staff. They gave us new sheets but we we’re left taking off dirty sheets. They apologized in the morning when I reported it all. Nice people, dirty room. Disappointed concerning most places theses days have better cleaning procedure in place.
