Positive: Room was great. Location convenient to everything we needed. Negative: Only complaint, if you are a light sleeper the rooms on the interstate side are somewhat noisy from the traffic. Still great room

Room was clean, lobby and 3rd floor hallway (where we stayed) were clean unlike many hotels where the lobby is beautiful, then you head upstairs to your room and the hallway is dark and or looks unkept/dirty. Altho right next to I-75, the walls were thick and we couldnt hear the vehicles. Breakfast was excellent - asst cereals with real milk, hard boiled eggs, asst breads and spreads, waffle maker (today the mix was blueberry with real blueberries), fresh fruit - whole apples and bananas, oj, hot scrambled eggs & sausages. We will make this a stop again. Thank you for providing a clean, reasonably priced accommodation.
Although a bit dated, this property is very well kept. The lobby, corridor and room were clean. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant choices are easily walkable

We were traveling to pick up our New Boat and needed a place to stay and we usually always stay in Choice Hotels. We stopped at Exit #16 on Route 75 North in Georgia and they had great parking available but no rooms so went to Exit #18 they had (1) Room available but parking was limited especially with a Boat Trailer.
Ive stayed at Choice properties in Valdosta for twenty years. This is the best (not the cheapest), in part b/c it was constructed w/ a lot of concrete, making it quieter than others. Staff is professional.
Your hotel in Valdosta was very clean and met our expectations! I was concerned about the interstate being so close and it might be noisy. We did not heat any traffic at all. We have found that Choice hotels is a goo pd choice.
I had a great time with the grand babies. They enjoyed the whole thing. From the free cookies and pool, to the beds and free breakfast.
This is a beautiful Comfort Inn and Suites in Valdosta. It’s very clean. Our room was pristine and quiet. My husband particularly enjoyed the afternoon snacks! I would recommend to anyone traveling in the Valdosta area!
Quiet room, all was very comfortable with the exception of the desk chair being too close to the coffee table due to the design of the room. The closet was awkward because the hanging rod was set back in the closet away from the door. Otherwise it was a nice room for a good value.
Staff was friendly and attentive but couldn’t access my Choice Privilege account. Only complaint is that the room wall heater (or thermostat) we’re not functioning properly which resulted in a cooler room than we desired with outdoor overnight temps in the upper 40’s
Front deck was 1st class even though I was not acknowledged as a choice member. Housekeeping rocks and deserves a good tip.. good location. I will visit again.

We chose this hotel for its convenience, but it was not a good choice for us. Highway noise kept us awake all night. The room was not very clean. The entire hotel is in need of a major cleaning followed up a complete remodel. Very old and not at all maintained.
We stayed here because of its location, the price and the size of the room. We enjoyed everything about the hotel except the cleanliness. The bathroom especially was not well kept. The floor was covered in dust and grime in the corners, which matters to us because we travel with a toddler. Even the air conditioning had debri in it that my toddler could reach and take out. I didnt feel comfortable with my two year old roaming around the room, due to the lack of cleanliness. Also, the wifi was extremely spotty and we werent able to use it most of the time. Which was very inconvenient.
After our experience at the Super 8 down the road, this hotel really took care of us while visiting family. The room was great and there was space to move around. Despite being more, it was definitely worth the extra. Good location with lots of restaurants around. A little weird going through 2 parking lots to get to this one but no complaints. Front desk guy was an all star with his service and attitude. Was compassionate of our situation. Would highly recommend this particular place for staying in the area.

THE HOTEL WAS FANTASTIC WE STAYED IN ROOM 405 I ASKED THE MAN LUCAS A DAY BEFORE WE CHECKED IN I SAID HEY MAN CAN YOU GO AHEAD AND CHARGE MY CARD HIS REPLY SURE THING 405 WAS TWO QUEEN SUITE WITH A COUCH AND HAD A POOL VIEW AND TO THE RIGHT YOU CAN SEE A SLITHER OF THE LAKE THEY ALSO GAVE US A CRIBB FOR THE ROOM SO HE COULD SLEEP AT NO CHARGE
What a comfortable bed! The sheets, the pillows, the mattress...we melted into it after a long day of traveling and got a great night of sleep. The room was very clean, loved having the mini fridge and microwave, and the flat screen TV ended up being great white noise for us as we crashed. The hotel was quiet from a people-perspective with a bit of highway noise, but to be honest, it just helped lull us to sleep. The desk attendant was friendly and checked us in quickly, the location was only a short drive to food options, and the room was extra spacious. We found the hotel on priceline.com. It was a price breaker with Candlewood Suites being the alternative, both being a 9 out of 10 rating. They discounted the room from $118 plus taxes and fees to $93 plus taxes and fees. For a Saturday night with lots of activities happening in nearby cities, we felt like we got a good deal. Did I mention the beds?

Entire hotel including parking lot was exceptionally clean! Although breakfast was not it’s covid times I wasn’t even expecting breakfast. The young man working breakfast was very nice and helpful and the young lady the the desk was also helpful and friendly. They all seemed know exactly what they were doing which is a good change from my experiences elsewhere. I came down for hurricane ida and the staff and cleanliness of the hotel really helped clam me. I never write reviews but they sure earned this one! Thank you comfort suites!!

This Comfort Suites provides most of the amenities needed for traveling - but it does suffer and is showing its age -- In particular, the lighting in the rooms is poor - the use of CFLs just doesnt provide good ligthingandThe TV service used is lacking - will not show a guide so you have no idea what is on and it is difficult to key in channels.
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was the only spot with an open pool which is why I chose it. My kids enjoyed the pool. We walked to close restaurants. The staff was very kind. Rooms were super clean. Great views. Very quiet area besides the highway but you dont hear it inside.

This is the 6th time I have stayed at this Comfort Suites in Valdosta,Ga. The location is near many resturants and stores and very convenient to I-75. This hotel is very well run, great counter staff, clean rooms and lobby, and is very competitively priced. I will keep staying here in the future when I visit the drag races in Valdosta.
Positive: I booked this hotel based on the 9+ Rating and people saying how clean it was. It is NOT clean! One of the dirtiest and nastiest hotels I have stayed at in a long time! My rooms smelled like wet dog food meets sewage. I would highly staying somewhere else Negative: Nothing. Dirty, old and smelled bad!!!

The front desk service was above my expectations. They were the nicest and most polite Ive ever met. I will definitely come back to this hotel and maybe if I had ask them to vacuum our room floor, they would have but it had been busy and crazy weekend.

The bed sheets were dirty. The comforter had not been washed because you could see the dirt stains on the hotel. The hotel needs to be renovated.

Tiffany M. was energetic and on top of everything and would make an excellent training manager! Another young male was also very helpful. The front desk possibly the manager appeared exhausted.But overall theyre very customer centric and even though the hotel gouging continues, we had a safe and pleasant stay.Ps the pool was clean and Tiffany brought towels and restocked everything in every area and then began vacuuming of course!!

The manager on duty allowed me to stay even though there was an issue with the company credit card declining. The next day the issue was resolved and payment was received.The room had an old smell that I think came from the carpet.
The first room that they checked us into had hand/foot prints on already FILTHY walls, fake nails and trash on the floor, the bed had hair in it from previous guests. I think the kicker was that there was a giant brown smudge I had to clean off in the bathroom on the walls.The pool was disgusting, smelled badly & scum was visibly on my kids feet after getting out.Two stars because front desk was accommodating with us checking in early & moving us to a new room promptly.
After a long drive in a truck pulling a 22 trailer, what a welcomed experience to stay overnight here! The room was clean, and comfortable bed. The staff was courteous, and the breakfast they supplied us the following morning was a pleasant surprise. I dont think you would have a bad experience at this Comfort Suites location.
Only thing missing was a friendlier desk staff, morning girl gave the impression that she didnt want to be there, a smile goes a long way.
Nice place, friendly staff… This is a very nice area and there is a lot to do. The hotel is right off of I75 and you could walk to a few different restaurants.

The hotel was nice. The rooms could use some upgrading but still comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The heat did not work in my room which was a problem because it was in the 20’s that night. However, the gave me a bigger and better room with no upgrade fee. It was warmer than the other room but still cool to me.

The room wasn’t as advertised. The carpet was old and torn , the carpet was wet and smelled like urine . The thermostat numbers were illegible and the “lake view was non existent.Awful. Stay away. Lots of other choices in the area . Tv choices were awful
I was staying because my mom was in ICU, but the compassion and caring from every single employee was over and beyond anything that was expected!! We stayed 2 more nights after my mother was released, and I didn’t have her wheelchair. I rolled my mother down in the chair from the room, and the next time i brought her down, there was a wheelchair!! The manager had gone next door and borrowed one!! Every single employee was unbelievably helpful and nice!!! They made us feel like family!! The rooms were so very comfortable and clean!! Best hotel experience I have received!!!! If you are in the Valdosta GA area I highly recommend the Comfort Suites!! Easy access to anywhere!! Thanks so much to everyone at the hotel!!!
Walked in and went to check-in, stood there and was not greeted, welcomed. Hotel was empty and I was the only guest at the front desk. Very unpleasant experience. The hotel room was not clean. There was hair on the sheets, nail clipping on the floor, the couch had dirty spots, and the sheets had black stains. The bathroom was so gross that I showered once per day, instead of my regular 2 times per day. I had problems with the room door handle where the door wouldnt open. At one point I tried about 10 times before I called the front desk for assistance. Wouldnt stay at this property again.
Bed bugs bed bugs .. they were not accommodating at all!! 200+ a night to get ate up and dismissed like it was my fault.
I enjoyed my stay mainly due to how clean the hotel room was, as well as the social gathering areas. I wont hesitate to stay there again, should the need arise. I definitely recommend you select this hotel.
Positive: Not a terrible room. Could be better but for the price it worked. Negative: Needs renovation badly. Rooms need a fresh coat of paint and some extra thorough cleaning. Not terrible but could really improve. Also could throw a rock and hit the highway it¿s so close.

Room and common areas were clean, checkin was quick and staff was exceptionally kind and friendly. No issues obtaining a roll away crib. Stayed here because of the bank of Tesla destination chargers available (away from main parking but still convenient, thank you!!!). Would stay again!
My room was good. I love the managers reception every evening. My only complaint was the smell of weed in the halls and elevator. I will say the staff was trying to track it down. So not really the hotels fault.
I’m surprised by the amount of positive reviews of this hotel. Room was outdated, mattresses are in dire need of being replaced and the cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired. I shared photos of the room at checkout and employee acknowledged it was gross and only offered an apology. I will reconsider choosing this hotel brand in the future
We always stay in this hotel on our way to and from Florida every year. The Managers Happy Hour is great and the view over the lake in back is lovely. Beds are very comfortable.
I booked this hotel for some family members that were attending a funeral nearby. I figured it was the least I could do to save them just a little stress of finding a place to stay. There were no complaints of the service or accommodations. They all said that it was a great stay and very nice and clean. I used rewards points to book the room for free as well with no hassle.
Was very clean and the beds were comfy. The only part we didn’t enjoy was probably my fault because I didn’t read that it was a pet friendly hotel and there was a lot of yapping and barking throughout the evening. Nice to-go breakfast and coffee. If you have pets I would recommend this place!
We stayed here as part of a university trip and the hotel was more than accommodating for our group. We were able to stay in rooms that were more than comfortable for our team at a great rate. The rooms themselves were adequate. They are starting to show their age but not terribly. That being said, since we travel on budget a lot we have pretty low standards for rooms but these exceeded our expectations immensely.
The no smoking policy needs to be enforced. Rooms need a good air freshener or complete remodel to get the smell out of the walls or something
Second time staying here. Things were damaged this time like the back door and multiple pieces of furniture. Breakfast was nice but id like more distance between the items so we can follow regulation even while im helping my kids. Beds were once again comfy but the fold out couch didnt have a blanket this time. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. They have even been polite with my older children that Im explain how to speak to adults serving you.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. Close to other hotels and a few nice eating places. We were there for a wedding and it was only 13 minutes to the venue. Our lack of 5 stars is because of the price. It is certainly comparable with other hotels in Valdosta but there is nothing in Valdosta. We were running really short on time at check in. The young woman couldnt locate our reservation. I said, I know I have an invoice number, would you like it? Her reply, If you think it will help. A bit snarky. It didnt help our stress level because I knew they were sold out.
Although the hotel is somewhat dated, it was very clean and comfortable. I dont worry about the dating. Clean and comfortable is what I want and what I got.

Very clean and huge rooms. Check in was quick. Some noise from the interstate, but we just turned on the air and set the fan to on (so it never turned off) and didnt hear a thing. Has a pool and safe Covid-19 breakfast.

Our stay was for 5 nights while at South Georgia Motor Sports. There were 3 adults. The front desk staff was always pleasant and willing to help and/or answer any questions. The housekeeping staff was fabulous in keeping our room clean and replenished with towels and toiletries. My wife spoke to them on two separate days as she would leaving later in the morning. They were always cheerful.The breakfast was OK but better than other Choice Hotels we have stayed at.We booked a suite with a pull out sofa, initially was given a room with a chair. The front desk was able to fulfill the correct reservation. Our only complaint were the two queen beds were extremely firm. My wife ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa. It was not much better as it sunk in the middle and did not provide much support. If the beds are replaced, we will return in Oct. 2018.

I will stay again at a Comfort Suites!Take advantage of the perks. There is a complimentary breakfast and grab n gos if you need to leave earlier. The fitness room was nice for stress relief. Happy hour was an awesome bonus.

Clean and spacious rooms! The staff was amazing! We stayed with our 4 children (ages 2, 5, 9, and 12) on our drive home from Disney World to Missouri. We had plenty of space and the breakfast was delicious. The highlight of our experience were the wonderful ladies working the front desk. Our two year old is very rambunctious and they turned on cartoons and played with him so daddy and I could eat breakfast before our long drive. I will absolutely stay here again!

Nice social hour. Internet worked well. Pool was nice. Within walking distance to restaurants and short drive to shopping. Great place to rest on the way to Florida.

When we walked in our room it was beautiful. Huge. Two beds, two tvs, a couch and a spacious closet and large bathroom. I thought somethings not right. I went downstairs and got my receipt. Sure enough the lady from reservations charged me for a suite. Not the hotels fault. By the time I walked in my room my phone was ringing. It was Julianna, the hotel GM. She politely apologized and refunded the difference. Which by the way was only 25$ for the suite. I only stay at choice hotels to accommodate my two dogs, but the service is amazing. Thanks sgain
I enjoyed my stay. Being picky I would have liked to have seen the elevator area cleaned. Also in my room the fridge was nasty and sticky on the outside but the inside was clean. I washed it down myself. I am not wild about the small pillows but I slept great. Breakfast was standard pretty good. The pool was outside and too cold for me. The exercise room was very clean and nice. Everyone was very friendly. I would not hesitate staying here again as I had a great rate.
There was nothing disappointing about this hotel. We arrived in time for the Manager’s Reception and enjoyed wine and snacks. We were very impressed with the friendliness of all staff. Our room was perfect. The nightstand lamp had two outlets which was convenient for connecting our CPAP machines, unlike other hotels where we have to use extension cords strung across the room or bed.We actually booked a stay on our return trip before we left the next morning.
We were delighted with the Comfort Suites in Valdosta and will definitely return for another stay. The room was clean and spacious. The furniture was in excellent condition and the bedding was nice. One of the things we appreciated was the fast internet connection and being able to connect our computer to the TV with ease.We were then able to enjoy Netflix. The breakfast selection was very good and there was ample seating. The staff was cordial at every point of our stay. Nearby restaurants made dinner convenient after a long drive.
Stayed the weekend for a dance competition. Quick fast check in. Hotel employees were super attentive and courteous! Room was quiet and large enough for 4- bed and sofa! Breakfast was nice as well- all the basics, except bacon. Many places to eat around hotel- walking and short driving distance! Only minus for the kids was no indoor pool, but everything else was nice! Recommended! Would stay again!
Our stay was excellent. We were treated with such respect and dignity. The entire staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was comfortable and clean. we had a sitting area for TV and were able to heat our dinner with the frig and microwave. Our breakfast was very well appointed and staff was always filling and refilling. We have stayed here twice now and write this review after the second stay. Definitely will stay here again.
Room was very, very clean. All of the staff were concerned with safety of the guests. Only allowing two people in the elevator was wonderful. Best place we have stayed since the virus. Highly recommend.
Usually I’m a fan of the choice hotels chain. Not this hotel in particular. There was hair in the bathtub upon check in and the room wasn’t very clean. I let it go because I understand we’re all human and accidents happen. Then, we were woken up at 6-7am by a loud garbage truck. The breakfast was awful, I suggest sticking with a yogurt. They also charge your credit card TWICE for one night with the second charge being reimbursed in 3-5 business days. I travel a lot and have never had a hotel do this! Very frustrating. They should tell guests this before checking in.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The food was excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were helped and satisfied. We stayed a second night that was not originally planned because of how nice the hotel was. There is a small lake out back that has a family of turtles in it that my daughter loved. The pool is also very clean and nice and relaxing. The pillows and beds were extremely comfortable and the room is very spacious.

We only had a 2 night stay at this hotel. It was part of a week long trip and this hotel was one of the best choices of hotels we stayed at. They offered a suite which included 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. We had 5 people in the room so this was a good option for us. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. Breakfast and early dinner appetizers were included in the price. We did not have the appetizers. My only complaint would be that we walked in as they were serving appetizers and I inquired about it and was told they had cookies. It was 6:15 and was told it lasted until 7. I walked over to the area and was then told there were no cookies that they went quickly right after they were made. In my opinion they could have made more as there was an oven right there. Other than that, it was a good stay.
We are season pass holders for Wild Adventures and this is our go to place to stay whenever we are in Valdosta. We refuse to stay anywhere else. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and we always have a great time.

We did not intend to stop in Valdosta for the night, but due to unexpected problems on the road, we were forced to do so. We went to several hotels before we found this Comfort Suites. The lobby was well maintained as was the room. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed for the night before went to the room. Access to the room is through an interior corridor providing an added sense of security. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. In addition, a hot breakfast including eggs and sausage was provided the next morning. Checkout was a breeze and we were on our way; well rested.In short - this is a good hotel with nice rooms and a friendly staff. I would stay here again without question.
Everything was fantastic! The room was immaculate, the breakfast was super, the staff was wonderful. The manager and assistant were so warm and caring. Really made you feel like you were their only guest. We made the decision to stay here based on the recommendation of a friend, but we checked the reviews on various sources before committing. Not only are they good, they are also all responded to by John the General Manager without using canned responses. That told us all we needed to know about the care that is featured at this hotel. Outstanding!
We stayed here for 5 nights for our sons wedding. Everyone here was so nice. Rooms were good sized and well equipped. The hotel itself was very quiet. Being right on the highway you’d expect more traffic noise, but the room was pretty quiet. Breakfast was good and varied daily. Will stay again, for sure.
Overall our stay was great. There were three things that concerned us...The pillow on my bed smelled of dirty butt. Though, I did not discover where the smell was coming from until our check out day.The parking lot was shared with neighboring hotels which did not allow for many spots late at night close to the entrance. Just a small safety concern for two women checking in...The front desk evening staff person was a bit short with my daughter when she called with a question. Other than these three minor concerns the room was clean and comfortable. We liked that we were tucked away in the corner, away from noise of the elevator or ice machine. And, the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the pool, work out area or business area and cannot speak to that. But everything else was as described and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again if needed.
We were greeted by the friendly front desk staff, checked in quickly and informed about the happy hour reception with free wine and beer. Although located next to the interstate the hotel is quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The full breakfast was fine.I would stay here again
Everything was great, the staff as we arrived to check in was superb. I believe their names were Marisa, Brianna and Tiffany. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time. The room was very clean and spacious. The bedding was fresh and comfortable. We took advantage of the breakfast the next morning and was very satisfied . We wish all our hotel stays could be this pleasant. This is a very well maintained property in our opinion.
The hotel was nice, clean, safe and had plenty of room! We just needed a quick place to rest our heads for a quick sleep during our travels. We only stayed here for about 8 hours, so not great value for the price (but that’s NOT their fault). Breakfast was nice, filled our bellies to continue our trip.
Pleasant staff, but room was dirty. I stayed one night and I didnt find a new hotel because I didnt want to upset my family. This was a five hour road trip, no one wants to pack up and change hotels after driving 5 hours.
Shout out to Marcel at the front desk! We stopped at a half a dozen hotels before thankfully finding the last available room here. Marcel was by far the most pleasant desk manager I met along the way.

The front desk staff was great. They allowed us to have a late checkout of 2pm which was very helpful as we were there to go to Wild Adventures but one person in our party fell ill and the late checkout let him stay at the hotel a few extra hours to rest. The housekeeping staff did not get the information though and consistently tried to enter the room during the late night checkout which was an issue. The breakfast was tasty and the staff involved in supplying the breakfast and cleaning up were very professional and quick. The food was good. The coffee was great and the available seating was sufficient. The price for the value received was very good. I would recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again.

This hotel has great friendly staff. The check in and check out was speedy. The breakfast attendant was great making sure the food was warm, ready, and available constantly for everyone. Only one issue with cleanliness, the couch bedding was dirty, one of our blankets had food on it, and they didnt clean under the beds. Our family would stay here again because if we hadnt gotten in really late and had to get up really early to get back on the road, we would have asked the staff to get us a new blanket, bedding, and vacuum under the bed. As friendly as they were, Im sure they would have fixed the issue.

My entire stay was simply amazing. The professionalism of the hotel staff, their warm personalities and their overall genuine concern is by far the best that I have seen in a while. Ms. Porchea Trower in housekeeping is indeed a JEWEL! She made sure that my family and I had everything that we needed our entire stay without hesitation. All in all I could not have been more pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the great attitudes of the staff. My family and I will definitely be back soon!
This hotel was great. We always try to choose a Comfort Suites because we have 2 children who are past the point of wanting/being able to share a bed, so the 2 queens with the sleeper sofa are perfect for our family. The price is always reasonable, the hotels are always clean, and we enjoy the opportunity for a quick breakfast and possible swim. The staff was polite and friendly. The bedding is amazing. Always a great experience for us to stay at Comfort Suites.

Check-in was a breeze. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the Managers Reception in the afternoon. It was nice to have a glass of wine and appetizers after a long day of driving. Well definitely stop here again if were in the Valdosta area. One very nice, unexpected extra were the to-go breakfast bags we were given at 5:30 a.m. when we checked out to continue our trip. It was too early for the continental breakfast but this hotel took care of us! Thank you!

Hotel was extremely clean. Staff was great to deal with. Enjoyed the small workout area. Breakfast had a good variety. Fruit was not in the same area, so didnt see it until after eating. Internet tech support did not return my call - so no free wifi for my iPhone. Small maintenance issues with the toiley - hopefully they will take care of them. The handicap rooms were on the 3rd floor - didnt understand that - so requested a ground floor. Very roomy.

Just stayed for one night while attending Wild Adventures. Hotel staff was very friendly and hotel was very clean and welcoming. Rooms were clean and had plenty of room for 6 people (we only had 5 but there was plenty of room). Breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast, with good variety and food that was replenished quickly when running low. Our one concern was we were on the side of the hotel that faced the interstate. We did hear some road noise but nothing that hindered our sleeping. Overall was very satisfied with our stay.
Positive: After hassling us, when we complained about the filthy rug and decrepit state of the room (walls, light shades, etc) she actually said ¿I checked that room personally ¿ , ¿it¿s an old hotel¿. Then she said she would send a staff to check it Negative: Filthy carpet, disgusting stains, dirty lampshades, stained walls, bad attitude of front desk staff. And she tried to charge me! I told her I paid and JD a confirmation number. She kept saying, no, I had not paid.
Clean hotel, reasonable price. Friendly check in. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok, the usual hot breakfast choices at hotels. I think the coffee could be improved as we didnt enjoy it. Parking lot was packed, and it was hard to find a spot at only 9pm. I think people were parking in the lot and walking to Hooters which was right next door. The hotel is right off the highway so it is convenient but if you are in a room facing the highway you will hear road noise all night. Running the fan in the room helps to drown it out a bit.

This hotel was very clean, the room was also very clean and roomy, very attractive, and had a lovely sofa area in addition to the two comfortable beds. The breakfast was good, but the staff was really great. Some good restaurants nearby, and our room overlooked a pretty lake. We require non-smoking, no-pet hotels, and we will book this one again when traveling from Nashville to Tampa.
The hotel was good but the wifi was awful. I recommend that the hotel update internet service provider because my nephews complained about the poor wifi quality the whole trip because they couldn’t play their games the way they wanted to because of the internet, but overall we were all satisfied with the stay.
This hotel exceeded all expectations of a hotel stay while traveling. The Choice Hotel chain should be extremely proud. There were comforts and extras that ranked in the up-scale bracket. After checking-in to a lovely comfortable room, we enjoyed relaxing in the lobby which had free coffee bar, fresh water with lemons available. (the beverage presentation was quite up-scale) A managers cocktail hour was available prior to the dinner hour, which we rarely see. We asked the check-in clerks about places for dinner and they had several great suggestions. After a great nights rest, we enjoyed a wonderful hot breakfast buffet, with enough variety to please everyone. Again the presentation of everything from the hotel aesthetics and outstanding room to the breakfast buffet, coffee bar, and managers cocktail hour made our night at this hotel truly a dream stay.

Family of five. We had one rm that was two queen beds and a sofa bed. We had more than enough room to move around and the placement of everything kept us from feeling like we were on top of each other. Breakfast was normal free breakfast. Wish they offered bacon more days but a lot of places are cheap with the bacon. However this was the first hotel that Ive been too that cooked their sausage and not baked or broiled it! And it was actually really good!

We stayed here 2 nights so we could take the kids to Wild Adventures. Our room was nice and very clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great! They had a nice selection when you consider it is a hotel, and they had waffles which was a hit with the kids. The only negative was the pool was very small and was way too warm, and the internet wasnt working the second night. Overall I would stay again and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
The hotel was great. We checked in super late (2am). Got checked in & settled in quickly. Slept comfortably and woke to eat a nice quick breakfast & head out on the road again. The staff was nice, place super clean, beds comfy and bathroom was spotless. We’ll be back!

This place was exceptional from the time we walked in the door! It was a place to rest my head and thats exactly what I got. The staff was was nice and the breakfast amounted to anything that you can just add water. What brings this place down in rating are the stains easily viewable in the room.
We were greeted by a most pleasant young lady; checkin was quick and efficient. Our room was very clean and reasonably quiet ( since it was on the expressway side of the hotel) and well supplied. Breakfast was excellent, and there was plenty of space in the breakfast room. We feel the room rate is a little high, and the taxes (which we realize cannot be controlled by Choice Hotels) are ridiculously high.
Friendly staff, great room, great place to stop along I-95 before entering Florida. Not to busy area, easy access. Wonderful to just eat breakfast at hotel without extra charge instead of going to a restaurant. Dont ever stop the free breakfast. It is a deciding factor with our stays when we travel.
The staff were A++, very friendly and wanting to help. Lobby and hallways were very clean. The room was nice but I did not expect the very poor internet, loose toilet seat and musty carpet. I do understand this hotel is located in a southern warm and sometimes humid area and thus perhaps the carpet issue. The morning breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the deck overlooking a pond with turtles and minnows.
The hotel was easy to find, being right off the interstate. The hotel and room were very clean. The water pressure wasnt the best, however. All employees were very nice and helpful. I was greeted by every employee I came across. I especially liked the refreshments provided in the evening until 7 or 7:30, I believe. I did have a couple minor issues with my room but the manager made it right. From the moment I walked in, I was treated as if I was a VIP. Next time I need to stay overnight in Valdosta, I will definitely be staying here.
The rooms were shabby and not sanitized that we could see. Elevator was really slow. I gotten a really bad fire ant bite while I was getting coffee downstairs in the lobby. Not a great experience.
We werent planning to stay at this hotel and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was new, modern, and very clean. The room was very large with an extra foldout couch. The breakfast was very good with an option of waffles. There is a beautiful pond out back off the eating area with turtles, ducks, and fish. My children loved observing all the animals! This hotel was a very good value for the price!
Great experience staff was very friendly housekeeping was amazing if you needed something all you had to do is ask room (208) was very clean and cool when we arrived only issue was the toilet valve was making a whistle noise but I fixed it and the shower head is very hard to adjust the stopper for the sink was not hooked up so I took it out but other than a few problems great stay

My husband and I were travelling to Florida and spent one night on the way. We have never stayed at a Comfort Suites Hotel and were very surprised and pleased with our experience. We werent planning on staying here on our return home, but decided we liked it so well we cancelled our reservation elsewhere and stayed again. The employees were very nice, the hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. Highly recommend staying here!

Havent stayed at Comfort Suites before, I was really surprised. Very clean rooms and the rooms were spacious. The staff were very friendly.
Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Its practically impossible to find a room that 1) sleeps the entire family of six, 2) has a good hot breakfast, 3) every staff member we encountered was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of food options in the vicinity.
When we first checked in, the staff was very nice. We got to our rooms and pulled out the couch bed and found that it had been peed on. Not only had the bed been peed on, but the bedding that went with it as well. It seemed as if housekeeping did not pay attention to the bed/bedding. I called the front desk to let them know and she was not sure if the hotel had another bed to send up. I took the bed and bedding down to the front desk and they gave me another room. The next day they brought another bed and bedding to the room. I was told the manager was going to follow up but I never heard from him/her. My wife overheard one of the housekeepers say to new person that if the sheets dont look dirty then dont change them. That is a bit of a concern for me. The hotel itself was very clean and looked well maintained. Other than the bed issue, I enjoyed my stay.
The room was clean. The setup with the rooms was perfect for the family trip that we had planned. However, my rating for this hotel would be minus stars!!! The hotel staff made unauthorized authorizations on my bank card. When asked about it, two different employees lied about it. The manager denied the authorizations were ever made. It has taken a week for the funds to be released on authorizations that were never appropriate. The room had already been paid for by people traveling with us and so the authorizations were made in addition to the payment. After 4 different conversations with hotel staff, we finally got them to realize (or admit what was done). NO APOLOGY has been offered!!!!! The staff that we dealt with need refresher courses on customer service!!! I have stayed in many hotels with business and personally and have NEVER been treated like this! Beware of authorizations and CHECK YOUR CHARGES!!!!!!!
We needed a room for one tween, two under 6 and two adults. The 2 queens with a couch was perfect. One bathroom was a little tight but the rest of the room was great. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was busy but good. Near to a wide variety of restaurants. Not too far from Wild Adventures. We will stay here again.
This hotel was fantastic! Room was extremely nice, clean and bed was SO comfortable. We had a King room and it was very roomy. Happy hour from 5-7 pm was a big surprise. Beer, wine and snacks were served. So nice to set there and relax with everyone instead of going out. Plan on staying there again with friends! Great place.

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. The first experience was not the greatest, but the 2nd was much better. This 3rd time was disappointing.There was a piece of trash on the floor under the sink in the bathroom, which makes me wonder if they swept. The door of the refrigerator was cracked on the inside, and the freezer had something nasty in it. The carpet was a bit stained and the walls could really use some fresh paint. The heater stopped working at 3am and made a loud humming noise (but stopped blowing) that woke us all up. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was clean enough (no bugs or hair) that I would stay again, and hope to get a different room, if the price was around $70 to $80. If more than that, I would try somewhere else. Friendly staff, though, as always. And convenient location.
Great location, easy access, & peaceful. Breakfast is nice. lots of places to have breakfast, lunch, & dinner. The Hotel needs some up keep attention. The rooms wasnt clean up to standards. Everyone was very helpful & polite. I guess what really upset me is the overall cleaning of the rooms.

Modernized building,Competent staff, Clean spacious room, Lobby was especially nicely done. pond out back had been improved since we last stayed here so that it provides a nice view to the rear of the building. Clean, nice rooms. Everyone from the front desk to the room service representatives were friendly, beautiful and kind. We plan to stay again if ever needed. When we arrived most of the hotels around were booked. This one was not thankfully! Ruth greeted us and connected with the reason for our stay aND us personally. She was just so kind and still professional and the ideal customer service representative. We looked for her to thank her. She really made our stay simply blessed.
Needs deep cleaning, repairs, updating. No tub bathing possible with stains in porcelain. Breakfast only sub par. Room was very quiet and spacious. Not a good value considering other local options. Sadly did not measure up to great online reviews.
Clean and friendly Breakfast needs improvement. Eggs rubbery and the meat had a weird taste. Your in the south? Where is that great peppered gravy and biscuits? Fresh grapes and strawberries for those on Keto and trying to eat clean and fresh. Good quality sausage patties and bacon so people have a choice. And never never ever serve fried eggs. Hope this can in some way improve comfort suites. Other than that everything looked wonderful.
Its a great hotel. The interior is beautiful, comparable to a 3 1/2 star hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a variety of things including bacon, boiled egg, yogurt, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. The computer and printer in the business section came in handy when I needed to get directions to my next stop as my directions from AAA were incorrect. Overall, very satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the quality.However, they need to do more with the sofa bed. It was off its tracks and I had to make up the bed myself.
It was AWFUL!!!! The beds are terrible unless you like an EXTREMELY Hard mattress that is. I myself dont. Not only that they had a babyshower going on with probably 50-60 people in attendance and only about 20 of them were wearing there masks. Meanwhile all of them were going in and out the the party room and trappings all over the hotel and mgt. never said a word to them about not wearing there masks!! The manager was even on duty behind the desk. It put me off toward how this hotel chain is allowing things at this location. My parents and I have ALWAYS stayed at that particular hotel but, NOT ANYMORE!!!!!! From now on well stay at the Holiday Inn thats right next store and its only roughly$4.00 more.
It was great staff was very nice and easy to check in and helpful on the stay. Room was above par and very roomy. Compare to other hotels I have stay at before.
We were on the road 8 days and stayed at Choice Hotels all 8 days. This was the friendliest, cleanest and nicest of them all. They were all good but this one stood out with friendly reception staff, the breakfast was hot and fresh. There is a great deck that overlooks a pond where you can enjoy a beverage . Great pool. When we travel to Orlando and other areas of Florida, Valdosta has been a very good place to stay in our travels. Conveniently located off the highway and close to restaurants, gas, and shopping. We highly recommend this hotel. Great service all the time, spacious comfortable rooms, comfortable bed (Room #302). Hot Breakfast. Its a real pleasure coming to this hotel, they are friendly and professional. I also recommend joining the Choice Rewards Program, check-in is much faster and points rewards are worth it. I have not been bombarded with spam or email from Choice partners, which is a blessing in itself.

2022-06-22Positive: Clean Rooms Comfortable beds good air conditioning. adequate parking. Good Internet. Friendly courteous staff. Negative: Hot breakfast was ok, a little thin. No Biscuits and gravy, or potatoes, or grits. Come on people this is southern Georgia. Located next to the I-75 freeway so traffic sounds. I recommend leaving the fan on the air conditioning running all the time.

2022-06-06This is my favorite Choice Hotel. I have stayed here several times over the years, and there is never an issue. They are beginning renovations this month, but compared to a few other GA. Choice hotels, it does not need it. It is always clean and quiet, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is great, and the breakfast is acceptable. The location is easy on/off of I-75. My spouse and I travel a great deal thru the States of TN., GA., and FL., and my spouse agrees this is the best of the Choice hotels. I think the Management and the staff have a lot to be proud of.

2022-06-24Comfort Suites in Valdosta, GA is a nice place to stay. Good rooms that are very clean and comfortable. A hot breakfast is served everyday and if your on the go they have a traveling breakfast you can take with you. Reasonable rates and good customer service. Internet access is free but you may need help getting connected. For me, it’s a good value and I stay there quite often.

2022-02-07Hotel was over priced for its appearance and quality in my opinion. Could be cleaner and better maintained. In these times of covid when cleaning should be top of the list. The floor in the room could have been challenged as to vaccuumed or not. Hallways similar. Breakfast was hot, good, plentiful. Parking was reasonable. Hotel a little way off the hwy.1) We did end up being given an adjoining room. 2) The noise from adults and kids was beyond acceptable. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK ABOUT 11:30pm AND MY WIFE CALLED AGAIN AROUND 2am. I guess eventually we were so exhausted we fell asleep (driving 10 hours today ... we dudnt need this) When I asked in the morning, front desk said yes we know We called them not much good that did, they should have been evicted! A comp or sort from the hotel would gave been nice.

Thats rare these days.The room was clean, smelled clean! No pets allowed here..which was great for us.Breakfast area very clean and well kept. Felt confident in using their wafflemaker etc.Even offered a free glass of wine or beer during specified evening hrs. Great place to relax overnight!

2022-07-05From the moment we arrived at 11pm we were treated like family. Our room was soooo clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were so impressed with the entire staff. Front Desk Staff 10 stars. The lady preparing our food 10 stars. Housekeeping 10 stars. And let’s not forget management 10 stars.We had these super nice personally written notes in our room which makes you feel like the staff is truly happy you’re there. And did I mention how clean our room was? The room was stocked with everything we needed.My husband went down to get coffee and asked if I wanted any food. I gave that look (yeah right) I’m sure it’s not that good. Well I was wrong. She obviously cares about the food she puts out and the way she displays it. The eggs were cooked perfectly (I’m a very picky egg person) biscuits were delicious and the gravy was good. And like our room the area was so clean and organized. It was important for me to let the staff and management team know how delighted we were to stay there. Since we travel back and forth to Florida this will definitely be our stopping point. 2022-03-18Positive: Nice comfortable clean room. Very nice breakfast. Also the in room coffee maker was user friendly and made good coffee. Negative: The only thing wrong with the breakfast was the butter was hard which is the same problem in all.

2022-04-11Room was decent size, beds were comfy. Breakfast was mediocre. Eggs were powdered, I think, and sausage patties appearance of being microwaved in water. If your good with a waffle and some yogurt or a bagel with peanut butter breakfast would be acceptable. Location is convenient to highway, great for a one night stop on your way to somewhere else.

2022-02-13This is my second stay at this hotel and that is because the first time I really liked it here. The rooms are nice and clean the breakfast is decent and they keep it restocked. Well this time I stayed in a suite room. Very nice and huge room my complaint is you could hear the mechanical of the elevator all night long going up and down, very annoying. The other part is the WiFi totally sucked big time!!! If you was lucky enough to get connected it would last maybe 4 mins then out. So don’t plan on using the WiFi here.
