Cook Out in other cities:
I ordered a Jr Tray with a Small burger, a chicken quesadilla with French fries and a chocolate milkshake and I’ve got to say that the food was pitiful. The patty on the burger wasn’t even big enough to feed a 2 year old child and the quesadilla in question had so little chicken it might as well have been a cheese tortilla. I went back in the line to get it fixed and was given attitude by the employees but when I spoke with the manager Nicky, he was persistent on that being the size of all their patties but said he would fix the order. While speaking with him an employee behind him was constantly rolling her eyes and seemed sick as to she was sniffling with her mask below her chin the entire conversation.
This place is SOOOO good! They have a surprisingly large menu with a variety of different food choices and all at really great prices! So far, everything that I have ever ordered has always been great. Unfortunately, the closest one to me is about 100 miles away but I make sure to go every time Im near. They have a large choice of homemade milkshakes that are to die for! I always get the peanut butter oreo. Not only do they have great food but, they are also one of the few choices of places to eat that stays open late and the line also moves pretty fast.
How come every time I come to this place it’s literally a nightmare? This time around my A1 steak burger had no burger and no A1 and no one seemed surprised when I showed it to the cashier. I received a cheddar burger when I ordered a barbecue burger. The response when I return the food was that they had a new crew that night. New crew or not, have pride in what you’re serving to the customer. My God, if you can’t get this correct how are you ever going to be move a career beyond serving burgers?
Dry chicken tenders with no sauce, and they almost gave me the wrong drink until I gave it back. Please slow down and fulfill orders correctly. Dryyyy chicken tenders, I was more excited about the honey mustard I did not receive. I’m salty about these desert dry chicken tenders with no honey mustard!
Cook out is usually open till 3-4a.m. The food was fresh, and reasonably inexpensive considering, you can order a combo, and has an extra side that comes with the meal, you can get a second bbq, hotdog, hamburger or extra fries. In reality I cant eat alot, so that extra sandwich can feed your child or whoever. Two combos can feed 4 people easily, unless you have a huge appetite. The lines are sometimes long, its worth the patience and wait, food has always been really fresh and hot.
Im not going to bash because Ive only eaten there one time and I know different Cooks food taste different but my first experience was not to my expectations but I will go back a second time just to see if its different LOL they do have a real nice menu I only tried one sandwich
This is a Gem of a place. A great menu abs great options. Whether you want a meal to satisfy some big hunger, or just a snack at 3am (yes theyre open that late haha) I recommend the Big double with bacon and cheese. The prices are great too, with a burger starting at $2 and you can have it your way, any way. Will be coming back often. 😀
Tried this place out very shortly after it opened. For the price, this place is great. Im a huge fan of the double patty burger, the onion rings and O.M.G that bacon wrap! My entire household loves the food here as well as the milkshakes, and to be able to go buy enough food to feed 8 people for around $50 is a steal for fast food.I do have to say, though, my husband got the chili one time and that wasnt tasty at all. I personally find good chili out and about is rare overall though.Service was fast and professional, and quality was amazing. The buns on the burgers are incredibly soft. Give this place a try and see for yourself. They have something for everyone!
Oh my goodness, this place was great! The food was good. The atmosphere was great and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and didnt mind explaining to a first timer. They have abundant shakes, that are made with real ingredients, and super thick. I could go on but I just want to say go in and give it a try! You wont regret it!
Cook Out is great and well priced. Also for the 3rd shifters, as myself, Cook Out stays open until 4:00. The lastest restaurant in town. The cheese curds are one of our favorites. We also enjoy their thick, chunky, true to taste, Milk shakes. Banana Pudding taste exactly like it. Has big chunks of bananas, chunks of vanilla wafers, banana pudding and whipped cream to top it off. My children like their BBQ sandwich, and chicken finger plate.
Clutch beyond clutch.A reason to come to the south in and of itself.Yes. Literally take a 10 hour drive for this place its that good.Only place thats open late in the area.Fresh grilled food, and the fries are bomb.Everything literally tastes like you grilled it yourself.I dont know why you would ever choose Zaxbys, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, Wendys, McDonalds, or anything over this placeYes its that good.Cons:The drive-through talk window sucksYou will not be able to understand the person at the drive-throughThey might mess up your order at the drive throughI dont care if they spit on my food or dragged it in the mud though. This food is the BOMB.
Cons:- check your bag before pulling off if you decide to go through the drive-thru, they are known for forgetting sides, straws, sauces, etc.- dont pay with cash, they are dealing with a cash shortage and some employees also wont give you the proper change.- after 11:00PM if the line is long, it is due to the workers correcting order mistakes and it does not happen to just a few customers, it is almost all.Pros:- Its open late- the food is okay, more than likely your food will be slightly to noticeably overcooked.- the milkshakes are consistently good
My daughter and I tried Cook Out for the first time today and our burgers, fries, and especially our shakes were absolutely delicious. The meat on our burgers literally tasted like they had just come off a hot grill and were so juicy and flavorful. We both liked the choice of grilled onions and liquid cheddar cheese like you find on the best nachos. The buns were also soft but held up well to the burger and didnt fall apart or slide off. The fries are actually potatoes and still had skin on the end so you could tell they werent processed like crazy. The were so hot and pillowy but still easily dipped into our super thick milkshakes. The milkshakes are so good and think. They have 36 flavors but my daughter is a Hershey lover and chose that. She was thrilled that it actually had Hershey syrup and the flavor she loves. I got cheesecake with chocolate chips and it was that flavor with cheesecake chunks and tons of chips. The only thing that would have been more helpful would have been a menu board before we got to the main one with the speaker because there are many selections and we had to take a minute to look and werent prepared to order.
Tonight was the 3rd straight time that Ive gone to the Cookout and placed my order in the drivethru and got to the window to pay and the person tell me that they were out of change. I gave them a $10 bill tonight and my order was $8.25 and he says we are out of change, is that ok and hands me back a $1 bill. That is freaking ridiculous, if they told 100 customers a day that, it would be $75 that either the worker is taking from the register or that the restaurant is getting. Whatever the case, its ridiculous, I dont appreciate it and I wont be going back.
No. Just no. This place is awful. The wait time is astronomical for horrific service and mediocre food. I just waited in line (one that you cant just pull out of when youre fed up with the wait time) for half an hour with 5 cars in front of me. I watched several people be handed food only to hand it back because this place couldnt get an order right. To top it off, when I finally made it to the window for my milkshake (the only thing I ordered), they tried to hand it to me with ice cream dripping down the sides of it. It was unprofessional, messy, and rude. Stay away from this place unless you want to be disappointed and agitated.
When the place 1st opened the food was good. Now the food is disgusting and disappointing. My food was beyond burnt and the only reason why I gave them the last chance this go round because the mall was pack. They say my pleasure, now as if they were chick-fil-a but lack professionalism and better quality food service as chick-fil-a!!! Im the type that doesnt leave reviews but ppl need too do better.
Not to say their food was prepared to order or. Good but this particular location doesnt offer a shake of the day flavor like every other COOKOUT Ive ever been to does, nor did they serve fried okra and every other COOKOUT Ive been to has had that as well. Therefore, I was sorely disappointed.
I went inside and no one bothered to take my order. I decided to go through the drive-thru, and someone took my order. The young lady who assisted me told me that everyone who worked the front counter left. I think they should consider closing the dining room if no one will take your order.
I love cookout! Delicious authentic grilled flavor! I dont care for the onion rings because the batter makes the crust hard and when you crunch through, the onion pulls out. The cheese bites have the same super crunchy batter but it works better for the cheese. My regular order is cajun chicken tray with double cheese bites and its like $7 with a drink. They are usually busy but usually efficient.
The food is good, for a good price, but the customer service is an absolute mess. Numerous times the drive through worker taking orders is done speaking before the machine even registers they’re talking, so it’s just a blank. If you don’t know exactly what you want, and don’t need to ask a single question…you’ll be fine.
Great customer service, there was a sign on the door saying dining room now open, we went in but couldnt sit and eat inside because they said it wasnt allowed. I understand covid and all but there are guidelines and precautions that can be taken, I personally feel like it was more of a not wanting to pull the chairs or maybe less clean up after a shift. I eat out alot and I dont know of anywhere that its not allowed to sit and eat, I could be wrong it could be closed just taking orders inside for people without means of transportation or other reasons. I personally would have been more satisfied if the sign stated takeout only on it but it didnt, also the fries were undercooked. But customer service was friendly and no mistakes were made on our order.
We heard mixed reviews when they first come out but when we ate there it was like eating fair food very very delicious. Prices were really cheap around 3 or $4 for a hamburger. Over 40 milkshakes to choose from. Lots of different sides you might not find at other places. And the seasoned fries were great.
My Daughter and I Go To Cook Out About Twice A Week. We Always Use The Walk Up Window. The Food Is Great,The Prices Are Very Reasonable. The Only Thing Is When We’re At The Walk Up Window,It Takes The Workers Too Long To Notice We’re There. Maybe There Should Be A Better System. Love The Place and The Menu Is Great. Definitely Will Recommend This Place To My Family and Friends.
The customer service isnt too bad. Most of the time a pretty descent person is at the window. I go just for the ice and OMG its too good. I highly recommend this spot and the cajun cheese fries, and it really doesnt take that long. I waited ten minutes behind a truck at the window while they got their order redone and I feel like that person shouldve had to move to a parking spot, because there were several cars in line like myself being held up. Other than its a good place.
This place is for anyone who is needing some little league concession stand style food at a cheap price. The food itself I did not really enjoy to much, as it was pretty greasy. However, we ordered the milkshakes, and I figured out why this place was so popular. The seating area is quite small since its situated in a small area in front of the mall, but they are able to quickly turnaround tables for the next customer since there seems to be someone on watch for it at all times. There is also both a drive thru window and a walk up window to order from as well, which is very convenient for people who are either shopping or coming from the University. I thought that was a great touch.
Me and my grandparents went here for lunch and they got our order wrong twice in a row. I don’t blame the workers as they were most likely trying their best. I blame the manager for his/her lack of leadership skills. Obviously couldn’t run the kitchen to make sure everyone’s order came out in a timely manor and correct. Will not be returning
I was extremely excited when Cookout opened in town. I previously ate in one in Huntsville, Alabama, and it was so good! And you cannot beat the prices! This new location is just as good. Service is lightning quick, even when theyre swamped. While its new and crowded, so you have to wait a few minutes for an open table, youre never waiting with food in hand. Well worth waiting!
Employee service was respectful, courteous, fast and accurate. Food was hot and fresh. Went through drive thru. Speaker was not working correctly and could not understand employee. Every item/ingredient has to be requested individually and some were missed because of the speaker. Fries were great!
Extremely inconsistent quality. Drinks are very often only soda water. Sometimes a tomato is sliced thicker than the chicken other times you get enough mayo for several sandwiches. Drinks are usually 80% ice except when it has little to no ice at all. I will say their sweet tea is routinely sugar water. Has no tea flavor but extreme amounts of sugar. That is just how they make it apparently.
Cheap and absolutely delicious!! Just as good as Five Guys but less than half the price with interesting selections of sides to choose from, as well as a wall of milkshakes to try that add only $2 to your order. Youd expect the milkshakes to be tiny for that, but nope. Perfect size!! Amazing!!
Four stars, specifically for the sweet window staff ladies, late at night! Food was typical, at best, if a little sloppily assembled, though: food preparers failed to prep, as requested, fried items were a bit overcooked and stale (sitting under heat lamp?), and the lettuce quality was poor. Otherwise, we love Cookout, as always.
Extremely good food for a very low price. From chicken and barbecue to quesadillas and burgers there is something for everyone... As long as everyone is in the mood for baseball game style food. Lines can be a little long but food is always on point and employees are kind. Milkshakes are out of this world.
When this place first opened the food was fresh and tasty but after my recent visit, the food is subpar. My walking tacos were threw together with hardly no meat or toppings. My cheesecake toppings seem like they threw on across the room. I also had to remind them I purchased it and had to wait 5 minutes for it. Chili dogs were fixed improperly. One had little chili and the other had little cheese. The milk shake was mediocre. I was so disappointed from my previous experiences. I dont think Ill be returning back anytime soon
Went in to place an order, since it was my first time, I wanted to have time to see all that was offered. I ordered the 5.99 burger with fries and a corndog, I thought this was a good price which included a drink. I didnt dine in, started for home and took a bite of burger and tasted burnt. I opened and it was crispy black on one side. By this time I was on the interstate and not turning back. The only thing I can say good was the sweet tea was good and sweet.
I went there the other night and they completely messed up my order. I ordered a half pound hamburger got a quarter pound, then I ordered my wife a cheddar style burger with chili on the side never got the chili oh, and ordered it well done and it was pink. Went through hell and back to find the phone number to the store call them told them about the issue went back up there to go get the stuff and our food was still messed up and her hamburger was still pink and no chili. I cant understand why it is so hard just to follow the order on the screen and put it in the bag as its on the screen. On another note the food does taste good when it is as you ordered it. Definitely calling corporate about this issue
Lots of options to choose from with the menu here. After coming for a few months and trying many of those options, I can say that coming here to eat is well worth your time, and money. The customer service is good, and you get your food fairly quick. My favorite things about Cook Out are the low prices, and quality of food for those prices. Definitely a must go for late night snack, lunch, or dinner.
Rude, Double was one patty cut in half and stacked, whole order was made wrong and receipt showed this and they refused to replace or refund, mentioned 3 times extreme allegy to onions and onions were loaded on every one of the 4 burgers receipt showed no onions and noted allergy, the 4 large teas were soured. Ended up leaving the food with them and went elsewhere. Dangerous to note an allergy to something and then have the whole of four meals loaded with the allergen. Will never go to the Columbus cook out in front of Peachtree mall again, they could have killed my husband if we hadnt checked the order before taking a bite. Claimed no manager was available when confronted. Did however record the interaction and send to corporate who issued full apologies and made sure to get our refund to us in a matter of minutes while waiting on the phone with us to make sure it showed in our account before letting me go off the phone, offered me also a complete replacement for any other location which the refund satisfied me and I declined to take from one store because of the lousy and terrible service of another store. The offer was more than enough and beyond kind, thank you Mr James? I believe he said his name was, for going above and beyond to correct this, you deserve a raise or promotion and a big thanks for your professionalism and patience with me as I was slightly upset at the beginning of my interaction and I apologize for that.
I went on a Sunday about 6:30 after the mall closed. The drive-thru line was huge and the line inside was long. I guess everybody had the same idea after the mall closed. Their milkshakes are good, you can pay a dollar and change your drink on a combo to a milkshake which is not bad. The fries and onion rings were good, needed salt. I got the double burger tray for 599. The bun was much bigger than the meat so I tore a quarter of the bun away so I would have meat on all of it. The patties, not handmade, but they do cook them themselves. You choose any toppings, but be careful they will charge you extra for certain things but they dont tell you if something is extra. I would say go there for yourself and try it out like I did. If Im at the mall I would go there and try it again. Its better than most of the food inside the mall.
The first time I went to cook out my Food was delicious. I went to work bragging about how good my food were. Than I went back about 5 more times my food WASNT that good the burger tasted burn and my father said his were hard. French fries was NOT fresh. Some of the people from my job went there. They didnt care for the food either. The people that work there is NOT friendly at ALL. Its like they dont want to be there
Employees arguing outside by the front door. Ask if been waited on yet. She told the others who are supposed to wait on guest and went back to her job. They wouldnt wait on me. Finally she came out and waited on me(nice young girl). Then went and made a comment to them how they should of waited on me. And went back to here job.
The hamburgers are TOO small for the name that they have. The fries are too greasy. At first I thought maybe I ordered the wrong hamburger, so I went back for the second time, the line is always LONG the waiting time is way too long and when I finally make it to the speaker the person talking my order is too pushy to take my order not enough time to see the menu, Just to wait some more 🙃
Really great burgers at amazingly low prices. This place was packed, and I can see why. I got a big flame-grilled burger, two sides (try the cheese curds! ),and a drink for $5.99. This isnt some dinky fast-food paper thin burger. This is something youd be proud to serve from your grill at home. Service was fast, friendly, and accurate.
It was real good I had the $5.99 special. Double cheeseburger and onion rings and that cheddar bites in a Coke. And it was really good very fast getting it to me. We went in to eat. The restaurant was super clean the people were very nice. Ill be going back Id recommend this
Ive always loved Cookout. The one in Columbus, Georgia tarnished the image of all of them. I ordered hamburgers with certain condiments and they gave me dry burgers. When I told them, they gave me a packet of mayonnaise and sliced opinions in a pouch. I had a long day during with my sick mother in the hospital. The last thing I needed was to park in the side of the road to build my own burger on the way back to the ICU. Do better, and care when paying customers give honest feedback without being mean.
Ok I just walked inside with my son. 3 people behind the counter looked at me , I spoke and said whats up yall good afternoon. They completely ignored me and went on talking to themselves. I stood at counter for a minute or so with noone coming to assist me or even tell me to wait. NOTHING. So we walked out . Great customer service .
So we tried cookout for the first time today and we were super excited because he have heard such AMAZING things! Well I went to order thru drive through and got rushed and it sounded like the lady was super inconvenienced that I was asking questions.. I didn’t even get to get anything on the burger, we got home and I had FOUR onion rings for my side.. FOUR. Mine and my husbands chicken wraps were slapped together with ONE piece of lettuce and ONE chicken tender and barley nay sauce. The chicken nuggets I got my kids were burnt :/ the shakes were good and my husband liked his burger despite the fact we didn’t get anything on it because we were rushed to the window. I’m hoping it’s just because they are new and figuring things out but we won’t be back for a long time
Bought a chicken case it literally had 8 shreafs of meat. When I took it back to the counter. I was told it doesnt come with much more than what I had. For 8 bucks. Iam highly disappointed and dont like the fact that spent that amount of money for 8 shreds of chicken. The staff was nice about it. But damn 8 bucks. Wont be going back. Too much money for nothing. Also they charge for lotus tomatoes onions and anything else you want on a burger.
The line was long but moved fast, large menu with good prices, however the whole building is narrow and youll often end up eating while someone in line is standing right over you. Food is average, milkshakes are good but can hardly be considered milkshakes because theyre so thick you cant suck them through a straw. Its more like froyo.
I have been thru the drive-through eight times since this location opened here. Not one time was my order correct. As I was standing in the drive-through today to get my order corrected again there was a man in line and his order was incorrect The lady at the window argued with him that he didn’t say he wanted fries. She has been rude to me also. The food is great but if you can’t get what you ordered why bother. The drive-thru employees need a lesson in customer service because they are all rude.
Worst cookout Ive ever been to. Service has attitude and my order is always wrong. I hate mayo and when I ask them for no mayo on my food it has always came loaded with it. This last visit was the last straw. This location gives this growing company a bad reputation.
Extremely Upset ! For Some Odd Reason This Is My Favorite Place To Eat , My Husband And Kids Love The Place ! We Would Drive To Opelika To Eat Before They Came Here To Columbus With That Being Said We Eat Regularly Here The Staff Knows Us We May Eat Here 3 Or 4 Times A Week Spending $30 Or More At Times And Guess What Our Order Is ALWAYS Messed Up Missing Something, Something On Our Food (Tomatoes) After Asking 5 x No Tomatoes. Just Last Week I Decided Not To Check My Food I Come Home And Order Is All Wrong !!!! I Call And I’m Offered To Come Back And It Be Replaced I Live 6 Exits Down So That Wasn’t Worth It At All , Was Offered To Fix It Next Visit Well Tonight I Visit Don’t Even Care To Mention About My Visit Last Week I Order Pat For My Food A Manger Took My Order Tonight So I Didn’t Bother To Check .... I Get Home I’m Missing 2 Items And My Husbands Tray Is Messed Up , Food Was Cold When It’s Usually Not ! Tried To Call Twice No Answer So We Have Made Up Our Mind We Will Not Be Visiting This Location For Awhile, Which Sucks Cause We Love The Food But I Would Love To Get What We Pay For ! Sorry My Rant Is So Long I Have Never Left A Review On Anything Besides Good Reviews abut This Was It Tonight !!!
Loud no sound baffling at all, it would make a big difference. Menu hard to read, letters to small. No designated wheelchair tables only booths and tables that accommodate 2. Had the BLT sandwich worst bacon I have ever tasted actually no taste is more like it. Grand daughter said that her chicken was over breaded. One thing positive plenty of parking.
I wouldn’t give this location a single star if I didn’t have to. I’ve always had great service from the location in Opelika and was looking forward to having one closer to home. When I pulled up in the drive thru line it was a long wait so I figured I would get fresh food and everything would be accurate. Well I found out wrong when I got home to find half of our cheeseburgers had no cheese at all. The burger ordered for myself, should have just had cheese, lettuce, and tomato, was covered in mustard, mayo, onions, and bacon as well. So much for having a tasty burger for dinner tonight!
Fast and efficient service, food is great, food is cheap, and the atmosphere is amazing as well. As a Columbus State student i appreciate that it is also walking distance from the school. My car has been getting repairs so im low on cash and have no ride, but i can always count on cookout. Staff members are super friendly, and are really easy to get along with. 9/10 would reccomend
The employees attitudes were awesome and the food was beyond delicious!! The burgers were so juicy and everything is worth the money! The only thing most people wouldnt like is the fact that they are always packed but that goes to show people that the place is worth it hands down!
Horrible. By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Burger cooked until black on both sides. Thats just burnt. Onion peel still on the onions. They forgot all my odd ons to both burgers. They also forgot a drink. It was the slowest service ever. Restaurant not Crowder.it. just sucks.
I would like to say Thank You to the owners and staff at Cookout in Columbus, Ga. My wife and I came in around midnight after having the worst experience of my life in another resturant. tired and hungry. you guys were slammed in the drive tru and everyone was nice, proffesional and helpfull (it was our first time in a cookout resturant) We ordered and had our food hot and fresh in less than 5 minutes. OUTSTANDING !!!! And it was great on top of it all. Thank You so much.. We will be returning often..
I went here today with my boyfriend to see what everyone was so excited about this place and I went with High hopes of it being as good as all my friends had said it was. Before I went I went online and studied the menu debating on how to order and what to order. Going in it was packed and I was ready to wait. When we went up to the counter I started telling the cashier what I wanted and she was very rude about it. Talking into a microphone as we ordered and even being rude about what else I wanted. When we finished ordering she didn’t even give us our drinks before calling the next person while I was still standing there. When I asked for my drinks she gave me the wrong size and that was the first thing that made me upset. When we got our food we were thrilled with the turn out. We paid $16-17 for our food and got almost nothing worth that much. I had the tray of chicken fingers with onion rings and hush puppies. VERY disappointing. With four onion rings and four hush puppies and three tinders that I could’ve gotten from Walmart for much cheaper. My boyfriend got the chili cheese dogs with onion rings and they even looked liek regular school/gas station hotdogs. Overall this place was very disapointing with their food and service, will not be back anytime soon.
Attempted to order a Char-Grilled CHICKEN BREAST - Cheddar style sandwich. The menu explicitly stated $3.99, but when I pulled to the window they wanted to tax on another 1$ for the sandwich not being plain? Not one place on the menu does it state its extra for any one style chicken sandwich. In the end its only 1$, yet the larger issue is that its false advertisement. Wont ever see me near this joint again.
Omg this place is great! I’m so glad their one closer to the college ☺️👏🏾 the food is awesome, the service is awesome, it’s clean and fast, also the workers are so patient! I brought my cousin in to try for the first time and she couldn’t get her order figured out for nothing in the world lol but the nice young lady was very patient and got our order right. Thank you cookout!!
On more than one occasion inhavevjsd a bad experience with our Columbus location cookout. The food is horrible!!! Every time I go my food is either partially burnt or they just rush to get the job done. On 3/22/20 , in was not satisfied with my order. My order was burnt and they fixed me a taco inside of a dorito chips bag which is beyond GHETTO!!!! I may not visit The Cookout anymore. Sadly this was a Waste of my little money and time I had to wait in the long line that night..
We went late night on May 9 th. I asked for Cajun fries and two 1/4 burgers with cheese, everything on the burger, tomatoes, jalapeños, lettuce, etc. I also asked for bacon on one of the burgers. On our drive back home ( Fort Benning) the fries were not what we ordered and some of the items that we requested were not on the burgers ( lettuce, tomato, and just one jalapeño was on my sandwich). When I looked at my receipt #1398 @ 22:48 for the phone number there was no number?? I scrolled down the review page to locate a contact number and found the number but it just rang as I wanted to voice my concern. Thank you, [email protected]. It would have been nice to have gotten what we paid for.
Was so glad when a location came to Columbus instead of having to drive all the way to Opelika! Pretty much the best place to get amazing burgers and other things for amazingly cheap prices! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a filling meal for a low price!
Food is descent for what it is. Better than Krystals for late night snack. Resonably priced. My only gripe is the receipt doesnt itemize how much you paid for each item. It only give you the subtotal, tax, and the grand total. When I buy a list of items I want to see how much each thing costs on my receipt.
First visit here. Food Not very good.1. Quesadillas only had a Very Light Smear of chicken and cheese. Almost, like they were premixed.2. Fries, onion rings and slaw were..meh.3. Barbeque sandwich was very...meh.4. Hot dogs were not bad.5. Service was good and the people were friendly. Eating area looked clean.
I went through the drive through and my entire order was wrong. I called and spoke with the supervisor who apologized and offered a replacement meal if I returned the next day with the receipt. I returned the next day with the receipt and the manager, Juan and staff were extremely rude. The food was mediocre 😕.
People there are very frenidly and awesome. I didnt have to wait on my food for along time on top of that it was hot and good I will be going back. See these out of towners always go to different state and cities talk about how the food is nasty I want be going back. Who to say they food aint nasty where they live. How about this all people that dont live Georgia yall stay where yall live dont come to Georgia and talk about our restaurant
First time trying cook out in Georgia 9/16/19/ and everything taste good just the outcome of it was horrible and I ordered a beef quesadilla tray with hush puppies and onion rings with a strawberry shake my boyfriend had the chicken strip tray with double fries and vanilla shake so I ate all my food and my boyfriend only ate partial of his food and put it up. 30 mins after eating I felt hot and my stomach was really hurting. I was getting nauseous and start vomiting and using the bathroom on myself and this morning my boyfriend text me saying he had to stop working to use the bathroom badly. Im still using the bathroom as Im typing. I dont know if they are cooking the food thoroughly or too fast or is everyone properly washing their hands correctly but I WASNT doing this until I ate the food here.

2022-01-27Wow, Cook Out is marvelous. Everything tasted like it was fresh off the charcoal grill at a backyard BBQ. Service was fast and friendly. Food portions were big. Interior was clean. A lot of bang for your buck! Far superior to the average fast food burger joint. Satisfied and will return.

2022-07-04I didn’t mind the prices going up because I love the food but when the prices go up and the quality goes down what’s really going on? I sat in line for 45 min. When I got to the speaker I sat there and no one said anything until I asked if they was ready for me to order. After paying then sitting at the window and finally getting my food and drinks I had to wait longer because I was missing a drink then finally asked if I was missing something. I was there for a little over an hour. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of my dads tray with 4 little cheese bites in it when he used to always brag about how many he always got. My burger had a smaller piece of lettuce that’s in this wrap. The fries were fine but the wrap???? What is going on? The last couple of times I’ve come here I’ve been disappointed when I usually brag myself. This is ridiculous.

2022-06-14One of the worst fast-food burgers Ive ever gotten. More onions than meat, dont know where the cheese is, I asked them to add ketchup and there was none. Bacon was in hard little knots like it had been cooked in a deep fryer full of old grease. I had to ask for napkins because they didnt give me any. This is the third time Ive tried this place and I will not be back each time gets worse.

2022-04-01Really impressed with the food and how good it was, pricing was really fair as well. Only went through the drive and wasn’t expecting too much, but they were fast, friendly, and the food was the perfect temp. Looking forward to going back to sit down since the cashier said everything was good when I asked what to order next visit. No complaints at all.

2022-04-10Fast service for 10 of us. Regular patty was thicker than a Whopper but not as big around. I ordered with everything but cheese. Lettuce, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce bacon with condiments. Very filling. 2 corn dogs on 1 tray with delicious fries, chicken nuggets, etc. Looked and tasted good. They forgot quesedilla, so cant comment on that.Large variety of shakes were delicious. Very reasonable prices. Clean.

2022-07-07Food was done well, and the service was relatively quick. The quality of the speaker in the drive-thru needs some improvement. Portion sizes are appropriate for the price range, nothing to be impressed with but good for the value. Staff is very polite and friendly.

2022-04-06Wish I could show what I received as a double burger but the review function doesnt allow photos. The burger patties were the size of the top of a coke can in diameter. All the condiments I asked for werent on the thing and it was literally two patties and one onion ring slice. The cheese sticks were dime size except for one that was normal size. Anyway, dont usually complain about fast food chains because I know what Im getting but, even for a fast food joint this was not even worth the one star. I have gone here fairly routinely since it opened and progressively it has gotten worse. Maybe time for a new staff?
