Quiet, intimate setting for our honeymoon. Hot tubs in most cabins, very well kept and clean. Small garage in most cabins to keep your motorcycle dry! Surrounding area has many restaurants with something for everyone. Absolutely beautiful country for spectacular rides.
Went in June during the week. Super quiet and great views. Stayed in a cabin which was exceptionally clean and well thought out for a small cabin. Cabin had three TVs, a screened deck, long covered porch, screened hot tub area, and a King bed. We really enjoyed the cabin. We went to ride the Gauntlet. The Lodge was nice, and the food was excellent (Chef!!). No draft beer!! Not a deal breaker as they had Gaelic Ale- one of my faves. The waitress forgot to bring my water out, and didnt top off water for my son, until almost the end of the meal, and thats about the only issue with the entire trip. They have trailer parking if you trailer your bikes, so theres no trailers clogging up the streets where the cabins are. Saltwater pool, and live music during the weekends. Would we go back? Yep.
Love this place, totally for the bike crowd ( all kinds) you can rent a cabin with a tiny garage, the whole area surrounding the copperhead is fantastic motorcycle riding, inside the compound there is two bars and beautiful spacious outdoor decks overlooking a river with trout fishing, the whole operation just seems top-notch
I went to Copperhead Lodge for dinner with my husband. He order Deep-fried catfish and I had the collards and sage chicken with the cornbread. My husband was intrigued within meal. I was not intrigued with mine. The cornbread had sugar and an egg in it so I was very disappointed with it. The collards and chicken was okay. Not sure if I will go back. I had wanted chicken livers but they had just taken them off the minute. Prices were good compared to others in the area.
We stayed over the Thanksgiving week (Wednesday-Sunday). The office was closed the ENTIRE time we were there. We did not see anyone who worked there at all! We had zero trash bags in our cabin so we had to borrow from neighbors because no one was ever in the office. We then had planned to eat at the on site restaurant Saturday night but it was closed due to staffing issues. Then we misplaced the ONE key they left for us (taped to the office window when we arrived) and again- NO ONE in the office to help us- luckily there was an open window so we got in. Can’t wait to see what they charge us for a lost key. For the price, it was not worth it! Stay somewhere else!
Our favorite place in the north Georgia mountains! Doesnt matter if you stay in a cabin or the lodge. Geared towards motorcycle riders, but locals appear to love it too. There is a restaurant and bar on site. There is a bonafide chef on staff and the meals will not disappoint! Amazing food each and every time we visit. Hats off to the chef and wait staff.
Cabin 42 is an absolute gem! These cabins are stuffed with fun. Large jacuzzi, outside tvs, loft for kids, and massive outside porch with seating. Fire pit out back, with creek access for the kids to play in. Lodge pool was clean and nice. Delicious food at lodge, with great seating outside for views. Will be back!
I have been here before, Im here again and will be back hopefully in the near future. I love it here. Bathrooms are always clean and so are the rooms. Owner and staff posses great attitude and customer service. Not to mention that its in the midst of awesome riding with scenic roads.
We had Thanksgiving dinner at Flying Trout. Excellent food quality but their execution was lacking. 4pm reservation, seated at 4:45 and 1st food hit the table at 5:30. Food served family style due to covid and the quality was good, but it was all cold. Dawn was a very sweet server working under tough conditions. Worth a try on a non holiday occasion.
While we were there one night, my wife and I carefully took the top off the hot tub and placed it to the side. We were enjoying the hot tub when out of nowhere, this old lady (I have no idea who she is) waddles up and starts hissing about how we’re “destroying the cover”. That night at 11:20, someone starts pounding on the cabin we’re staying in. My wife and I grab our guns, turn the inside lights out and the outside lights on. We had one more day on our reservation but left the next morning. We choose to remember the awesome hikes and shopping we experienced on our getaway. The lodge...we choose to forget.
We stayed here for my 40th birthday. When I walked into our perfect little cabin I was greeted with flowers, candles, chocolate covered strawberries and wine! How awesome! When we down for dinner everyone there wished me a happy birthday. The entire staff made me feel so special! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and with an amazing view! Sitting out in the hot tub watching the sunset over the mountains was like a piece of heaven! The restaurant had delicious food and the staff treated us like we all had been friends for life! This was the perfect experience! I highly recommend this place for ANYONE...biker or not. You will love the food, view, cabins, and the staff!
This was my second stay at Copperhead Lodge, but my first time in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was wonderful. We were tucked up behind the lodge, and while we missed the views from the front hill, we appreciated the privacy of the woods. Our cabin was beautiful and comfortable. I could have stayed in the comfy bed all day, but the hot tub kept calling me. The fact that it was pet friendly made it even better. We had a cool but sunny weekend which made lunch on the back porch a must. Convenient location 1/2 way between downtown Blue Ridge and Blairsville makes exploring easy. The staff was so helpful and even accommodated our last minute reservation. Already looking forward to my next stay.
Love love love Copperhead Lodge! When I’m ready for a weekend road trip, Copperhead Lodge is always on the top of the list.Excellent staff, food and service. Prices are extremely reasonable, entertainment, live music and nice friendly crowd. It’s just a fun place to visit and hang out. There’s always something going on to draw a crowd on the weekends with great music and fun people. One of the things I appreciate the most is I can park my bike right outside my room under cover and know it is safe. The owner and staff I’ve known for several years and can’t say enough good about them all. I love this place it’s on my A list!Warning- It’s a dry county, if it’s Sunday and you want a drink or food when you arrive, stop and pick it up on your way. It’s a 30 minute drive to find anything on a Sunday once you’re there. If you have never been here and your Harley rider or biker, you’re missing out!
The lodge and cabins are okay, but the customer service is deplorable. If you have a problem of any kind, dont expect it to get fixed or even addressed before you leave. When you call the front desk no one will answer the phone, and when you leave a message you wont get a call back. Even if you have a real problem like NO hot water, you will just have to suffer the rest of your stay.
The entire staff were welcoming and warm. The food was delicious and well prepared. My room was clean and surprisingly spacious with amenities that I was not expecting. The most motorcycle friendly place that I have ever stayed at, and you would never have expected it. Family friendly for sure. Hats off to a wonderful lodge. I will definitely be back soon. :)
Absolutely the worst place to eat!!!!! They have a very limited menu which consists of one page. We ordered steaks and were told that they were out and would replace them with something else, which they did. We received a new York strip that was probably 2 inches wide and 6 inches long and they were tasteless! We were also told that they had baked potatoes only to find out after we ordered that they only sold them when they had something planned to use them with! Our waitress never came back to our table after we placed our orders, the owner took over our table, I have to say shes very rude! I had to get up and get my own drinks from the bar! With half eaten meals she came back around and asked if we needed anything else! She dropped our bill off and left, I had to hunt someone down to pay! Once our card was ran the owner brought us our receipts and tried to explain which one I needed to sign and even asked me if I needed to use her glasses!! I should also mention that this meal cost us $58. I definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!
My husband and I had a five day stay here. It is an amazing place. Five star plus service. Everyone made us feel like family. The food was great and the drinks were too. Michelle and Stuart took us on a beautiful guided ride. I felt like I’ve known them for years. Thank you so much for giving us such a memorable stay here. We are definitely buying here and coming back as frequently as we can.
Amazing patrons, friendly and warm atmosphere with wonderful clientele. Chef Vince creates an incredible variety of dishes, and the menu changes throughout the year at The Flying Trout restaurant within the Copperhead Lodge itself. I have been coming here for the last two years, and every time I visit Im greeted like Im family; I absolutely love it here!! The setting is gorgeous and relaxing; both the cabins on the grounds, and the rooms in the lodge, are impeccably clean, fully supplied with whatever you need, and cozily appointed.
We took advantage of the buy 4 nights, get the 5th night free. Our cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable. The views from both the front and back porches were breathtaking. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. Michelle and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.
Had an overnight stay in a cabin at the lodge. The cabin was perfect for the price. Very comfortable. We ate dinner at the lodge. It was a tiny bit pricey, but the food was good. Our waitress seemed new and not overly knowlegeable but she was very nice and double checked everything for us and I would not fault her. I would recommend this place. Great for motorcycle trips central to the gauntlet, blood mountain.
First time there tonight. 30+ mile drive for a night out with my wonderful wife. The shrimp and gouda grits were killer! The bourbon marinated wings were great! My wife will usually poopoo trout, but decided on the almond crusted rainbow trout and absolutely loved it. Great drinks and Michelle Evans was an awesome host, spending time with us at their awesome fireplace. Gorgeous lodge, great food, great service. We will return.
This is by far my favorite pool in all the surrounding areas to go to in the summer! I absolutely love it and will definitely get an annual pass this year.I have also got drinks and appetizers here. Everything Ive tried was awesome and the drinks were some of the best cocktails I have ever had! And that was with me getting the house brand vodka and Melon liqueur! The staff is so incredibly nice and friendly and accommodating! Everyone Ive met who works there says its like an extended family, and I have no doubt that is true! The owner is so kind and welcoming and gracious and helpful! I look forward to saying hi to her every time I go. I have not rented a cabin there before but from the outside, they are absolutely beautiful, as are The grounds and Landscape, with beautiful Green Lawn covering the entire property and its fields and planes and Hills. You can even call up from the pool and have food and drinks ( glass bottles excluded and prohibited!) Delivered to you poolside in your lounge chair! The bar / Grill is open all year, With wonderful bartenders at your service for all your food and beverage needs! If the pool is not in season or you just arent feeling up to taking a dip, there is a massive covered and comfortable deck with a view of the grounds and an indoor-outdoor fireplace.I would suggest and refer The Copperhead Lodge to anyone looking for a great cabin location, pool, food or drinks, and even lots of amenities and conveniences for motorcyclists. Just minutes away from downtown Blairsville, and with Blue Ridge, Georgia and Murphy, North Carolina just a short drive away, giving convenient and easy access to everything this area has to offer!
At first my stay in the lodge was great. Then when I wake up in the morning I find Roach bugs in the bathroom, we pack and leave Immediately after checking our bags for hitch hickers. Our room was directly under the restaurant. Room 104.....We drop both key cards in the drop box. Day or so after I leave I notice a charge for 25 dollars saying I didnt return the door cards. Know several people that stay here due to riding bikes, considering I live 1hr away
Great place. The lodge and the cabins are very comfortable. Good restaurant. Great location for daily trips to the mountains. And absolutely fantastic hosting. The entire re staff and management will make feel like at home. Hanging around the fire pit with your favorite beverage. It was awesome. I will return next year. Highly recommendable.
My wife and I have probably eaten at the Flying Trout over 50 times in the last year. Never once in that time did we have a bad meal, so Im very skeptical of people giving bad reviews for the meals. The menu is NOT limited, there is something for everyone and Vince is a top notch chef. The chicken and waffles are incredible, the shrimp and grits are better than any Ive ever had. Michelle and her staff are some of the hardest working folks around and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Drinks are amazing, never ever weak, Brandi is a great bartender and a great person. The entertainment is always good, with some of the very best local bands playing great classic rock and country. So if you want a great meal and maybe to listen to some good live music, stop in at the Flying Trout, you wont be disappointed.
Food is excellent and the owner is WONDERFUL!! the staff needs work. Waitress should complain about tips where customers can hear them. Me personally.....I liked it better when it was a biker place. But if you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL place to have a reunion wedding or a family get together you can beat this place. The beauty of it is amazing and they have what you need on site. Full service bar, resturant, pool, live music ext. You count be disappointed. Michelle the owner is a sweetheart
We rented a cabin here for last two weeks. Liked it because of proximity toThe Gauntlet and the little motorcycle garages. The coffee maker in the cabin was broken. They did replace it the next day after we had to out for coffee. The cabin also had a new toaster oven but it had no rack and was unusable. The refrigerator had an oder and my wife cleaned it and put baking soda.Their restaurant left a lot to be desired. Was not impressed with their chef not to mention he was talking about things he had little or no knowledge of regarding the restaurant. Plus, the owners cabin was flying a Trump flag out front. If your in business, politics is best kept to yourself. We wont be back, there are too many other places to rent.
Great time here. I was here with a group. The staff was very accommodating and provided great service. The lodge is very biker friendly. The cottages all have garages for bikes. I stayed in the bunk room. My only complaint is the is no security, no lock, on bunk room door.Covered parking for the bike of those staying in the lodge. The restaurant was very good.A definate return to location.
We came up with a group of friends and rented 5 cabins. The cabins were very clean and nicely decorated. But thats were the enjoyment stopped. The grounds are poorly kept, overgrown with weeds around the pool and when they did mow they somehow managed to get grass on a deck 5+ feet up and didnt sweep. None of the cabins had full propane tanks and it took over 36 hours to get a response from the Lodge. The lodge office hours were hit and miss. We ate once at the restaurant; 4 of us had the lasagna, it was warm but not hot; 2 had the shrimp linguine, it was terrible. When we mentioned the food to the waitress, she just shrugged and did nothing. What killed our vacation though was Stuart...., he showed up drunk(?) at our cabin at 9pm to berate some of our friends over an issue that had already been taken care of 12 hours earlier with the office staff. When he first pulled in we thought he was going to hit the four bikes parked in the driveway; his driving was aggressive as was his attitude from the moment he got out of his truck. He wouldnt leave when asked to, but just kept antagonizing everyone. (Michelle did apologize, but other staff members were not surprised and asked if he was drunk.) Lots of rules there and threats of fines for everything. We wont stay there again and dont recommend it..
I love the entertainment, atmosphere, food, and cleanliness ...I will be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I will also be renting one of the cabins on the property and stand for a while for some rest and relaxation . Very little wait time considering how busy they were Very little wait time considering how busy they were. ⭐️
GREAT PLACE!!! Soooo nice, comfy, and accommodating!!! On the day we were supposed to check out, the weather was real crappy, lots of rain and thunder! They were veryyyy accommodating and had noooo problem letting us stay an extra day, so we didnt have load the bikes in such crappy weather! Great restaurant!! Beautiful area for some really great riding! Come back from a long day of riding and jump in the hot tub and enjoy the scenery and relax! Just an all around great place!!! We will come back again!! ❤❤❤
I so wish I could be more generous with my rating. But no. The room, generous sized, smelled of smoke. The furniture was worn-torn leather, water damaged tabletops. Mattress had seen better days. One floor lamp simply didnt work.Bathroom had a hot tub which looked promising but it became clear it hadnt been cleaned well.We dined at the Flying Trout restaurant. Service was very friendly and the food was good - better than we expected. But: our request to substitute a side dish was greeted with a $4 upcharge. Never mind that we were backed into the entree due to food allergies. Disappointing. We had a drink outside after dinner. No smoking and no vaping signs were present. And ignored. We didnt last long.It seems this place appeals to somebody - but not us.
What a nice surprise! It was a last minute, long weekend thing, and I saw this place on a motorcycle rides map...so we decided to take a chance. WOW! To say I was impressed seems to not describe it! These cabins were probably cleaner than anywhere Ive ever stayed, with all the amenities of home...kitchen, flat screen tvs, hot tub, garage to keep the bikes...just awesome for a couple of buddies to hang out for a weekend. I would bring my wife and family in a heartbeat! The restaurant was a 5-star in my book - great food, AMAZINGLY great service, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.I will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend!
My husband and I rode 550 miles to check out the lodge for a new experience. Rented one of the Elite cabins for 4 days and it has been a great experience. We decided to stay a few extra days to miss some storms and enjoy the live music and they accommodated us with no problem. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the food at The Flying Trout is excellent. We will surely return and hopefully with several of our friends from our H.O.G. group. Oh, and we rode The Gauntlet, which is a must-do for bike riders who love great scenery and lots of fun twists and turns!
Really loved the lodge and the cabins were awesome to stay in. 2 things that kind of ruined it for me though was the amount of bugs in the cabin (I didnt mind too much but I think my family did) and there were a few charges we incurred that we didnt know we would be charged. Still had a great time.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. The meal was very expensive and not prepared well. The potatoes were instant and the prime rib was a sliver of a piece of meat that was over cooked. I would not recommend to eat there. The cabins seemed taken care of and well maintained. I am giving the one star for the beautiful view and the cabins.
Absolutely adore this place its beautiful its cozy is personable its clean love our room it was right on the hill of a creek. Love the owners love the entertainment the clientele that attracts are just awesome we had a blast cant wait to go back. Beautiful cabins beautiful land beautiful rooms very attentive knowledgeable staff the food is fabulous bartenders are wonderful had such a great time cant wait to make it a regular thing
We went to listen to the band and were promptly asked to sit elsewhere because outdoor seating was reserved for people eating. There were empty tables all around. Looking around, only half the tables looked like they were eating or going to eat. We had a drink and left. Bye, Felicia
My wife went up to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary on the weekend of the January 2016 winter storm-we were not going to let anything get in our way! We got there just before it started to snow to find our cabin cozy and warm and with everything we needed save food. The owners, Michele and Stewart greeted us super warmly and were so very accommodating, which really added to the pleasure of our stay. The lodge is roomy with great food and a bar, 2 large fireplaces and a 3/4 veranda with an outside fireplace and pool table. We had stayed there earlier in the summer, but in one of the king suites and fell in love with the place then and knew we would be back...and we will again too!
Hands down, the best motorcycle lodge stay weve experienced. Our cabin, located on the back side next to Jones Creek, included a large back and side porch with hot tub for 4. The large porch was set up with three seating areas and bar. While the cabin interior was small it was well layed out and brilliantly decorated in a Harley-Davidson theme. Table games, a corn hole bag and board set, 2 interior 42 and one 42 porch TV and a decent public WiFi hot spot. Plenty of options for chilling after a couple hundred miles of riding in the North Georgia mountains. The lodge itself was well staffed and friendly. During our visit we enjoyed live music and a low country boil meal at the pool. An excellent experience. We will be booking another stay at The Lodge at Copperhead.
First of all, the place is located in the heart of excellent riding country. The Lodge at Copperhead staff is second to NONE!!!! The staff will know you by name and remember your name each time they see you. The staff that cleaned our room went above and beyond in service. (brought a cooler & iced my beverages for me while we were out riding our motorcycles). I am not saying that they will do this for every guest, but they did it for me & the other people that were traveling with me. By far the best motorcycle resort/lodge/hotel in the area!!!! The food at the restaurant was absolutely awesome. (4 star food at 2 star price)
Copperhead Lodge is a hidden treasure we road (biked) from Alpharetta to this cool getaway in the mountains. The cabins are cute, I love the garage for your bike. Can we talk about Flying Trout we went the Copperhead Lodge with 3 other couples ever meal order was amazing and Im a Foodie the services was spot on!!! Fun bar atmosphere with great drinks and band. We all have booked to return to Copperhead Lodge in Oct really cant wait to return.
Perfect overnight stop on a motorcycle trip. Cant comment on the food or the lodge as they were not open on a Sunday evening. So after unpacking our bikes, we went in search of food and beer.WARNING! This is a dry county - no Sunday liquor sales.40 miles later we got sandwiches, beer, and breakfast goodies at a grocery store, and headed back to the Lodge.Nice deck to sit out in front of our lower level rooms, with bike parking right in front of the rooms. Quiet - nobody else there apparently. Decent room, bed, washrooms - all clean and cozy.Would come back if touring here again!
We had a group of 10 and I can’t say enough about the great atmosphere , Michelle /Stuart and the entire staff made our stay and trip a great experience for the group . We stayed in cabins and some in lodge . The accommodations were first rate . We will be back .Ps : the riding in the area is excellent as well .
This was our second stay at the copperhead lodge! It was even better than the first time mostly because we planned a longer stay to take day trips from the lodge! The staff was amazing and had the cabin ready for us even though we were later than we had planned. The light was on welcoming us!
This place sucks!! Went last year and totally sucked. The owner was very rude and food was nasty. Well went back tonight, only because the owners new husband had a conversation with a family member of mine and made it sound like it was a new place and to give them another shot, so we did. Well AGAIN it didnt go well. First off the bartender was so drunk she demanded to ID me for just a coke. Really, a coke? They wouldnt turn down the music enough for us to sit in the dining area to enjoy a meal. We had to sit next to a bunch of screaming drunk idiots. Dont get me wrong I like to have a good time but when it is to over bearing it makes it hard to even talk to the person next to you and watch their every move so they dont spill a beer on you, seems legit for me to say it completely sucked. So the bartender ended up being our server, and when asking for ketchup because the one on our table was emoty she stumbles to the empty table besides us with a new ketchup and sits it down like it was for an empty table and not for us. ( too drunk if you ask me). The food was absolutely horrible. How can you mess up a buffalo chicken sandwich? Well they did. Bland, cold, and couldnt eat half of if. So I gave them another shot and needless to say it was horrible AGAIN. Never going back.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY. Even though the facilities are great, the management/customer service is badly lacking and basically dishonest. Due to trike problems we had to leave before our reservation end date. We called the office at 0830 to tell them we were leaving but at that time of day there is no human being to talk to. So, we left a message telling them we were leaving and that we left the keys on a table in the cabin. We even called back later at 1630 to verify that they had received our earlier message. In spite of the fact they we provided a copy of our cell phone call log that clearly shows the 0830 call, they claim they never got it and that the 1630 call was, in fact, the time we canceled our reservation which is well past their check out time and ,therefore, no refund is possible for the day. I might add here that during our reservation making process we made several calls to them, always got an answering machine, and never got a call back. Further, it is a shame that they will not take my word as a retired U.S. Army Colonel that we make the 0830 call. So, if you want nice facilities to stay in the Lodge if fine. BUT, IF YOU MIGHT HAVE TO RELY ON HONEST MANAGEMENT/CUSTOMER SERVICE FOLKS TO DEAL WITH, STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE.
Dont be fooled by them, as we were!!!We went there with company and friends last Thursday. We chose this restaurant and timed it so we could join in the trivia contest, that was listed on the internet and through the local chamber of commerce! We met our friends at the bar, the 1st couple was told they would not be taken to our table until we all showed up!Then we were told there is no trivia tonight! I asked why, he said its for off season to bring in customers! Then we asked for an appetizer for the table, the waiter came back and said they didnt have any more, because of the holiday the week before! (I guess they couldnt order or make more by Thursday! Then I ordered calamari for the table...it did not come until after all our meals had been there! (The waiter Gavin said he did not get it in until later, he appologized!) Actually it was ok, because the general consensus from us all was that the calamari was the worst!!!What a disappointment it was especially since we were trying to show off our community!1st, dont advertise what you dont have on social media! 2nd, dont list appetizers that you dont have for more than a week...NO EXCUSE!!! 3rd, if a table orders an appetizer, dont bother if it comes out after all other food! What a huge disappointment!!!! Dont bother to go there!!!!!
We visited here because of the resturaunt and the reviews we read. The resturaunt is called the flying trout. This is a beautiful place nestled in the mountains east of Blairsville. There was a huge rock fireplace in the main dining room abd a sports bar attached and caters to bikers as well as others looking for a great getaway. Food was delicious but a little pricy, but not bad. The lodge is surrounded by cabins and there is a pool and stage area. A nice bubbling brook runs thru the property with walking trails.
Went to have all you can eat lobster on Wednesday and found out needed reservations so we couldnt get any. Had to stand and wait to be seated for 5 mins when the place was not busy. The lady who finally sat us had an attitude from the start and was like if you can wait 5 mins Ill seat you. Waited for the food for 30-40 mins like I said it wasnt busy. The food was not good and didnt even have everything in the meal like it said on the menu. Waited a long time to get refills. When we were finished eating we had to wait 30 mins or longer to get a check, but we had to get up and ask for a check. To the same lady who sat us. She walked right by us and wouldnt even look at us. Had an attitude towards us the whole time. Never going back. NY the way her name was michelle. She doesnt even need to work at a public place if she can not even interact with people even in a nice way.
Michelle, Anthony, Erica, Melissa and her husband are the greatest people in the Hospitality Industry. They treated us LIKE family, the food at the Lodge is EXCELLENT.MICHELLE charted a ride out for us on the map which lasted 3 hours and 90 miles in the GAUNTLET. Thank you for a wonderful time we will be seeing you with our families next time.Tom DeRosa & Homer Kenyon
Havent stayed here and WILL NOT because from the get go the person booking has overcharged me and now no one will answer the phone and I never received a confirmation to be able to cancel anything. Apparently they need to be out of business woth practices such as this

2022-07-06If you stay in 1 of the rooms below the establishment your not going to sleep till they get done cleaning up for the night. Expect to get up when they show up in the morning also. Ive never heard of turning away paying customers because they didnt have a dinner reservation, especially with empty tables. Hopefully the new owners get it together before they go bust.

2021-09-26Idyllic, awesome! We stayed at the Copperhead Lodge for just one night to celebrate our 10-year anniversary on a weekend trip to Blairsville. Our cabin was amazing, charming, felt brand new and such a value for what it cost. The cabin sites are well planned and give you plenty of space for privacy as well as cool features like screened in porches, garages, barbecue grills and some of them even have hot tubs!We had a porch on the front and back of our cabin, with plenty of Adirondack chairs and some cornhole boards which really invited outdoor living!Cabins at the front of the property are on an open, grassy hill. The cabins at the back are in a wooded area and some of them overlook a lovely creek. We are late sleepers and I was a little concerned that we would hear a lot of motorcycle noise in the morning, but we only heard one motorcycle. The cabins are solidly built! We didnt get a chance to enjoy the pool or lodge, but when we checked in, the lodge looked very welcoming - the restaurant smelled great! - and the pool area was well-kept.We hadnt been in our cabin for half an hour before we were already trying to figure out when we could come back again to relax and reset. Id love to spend a little bit more time here, really enjoy that awesome deck and the grounds and get to know more of Copperhead Lodge!
