Listen! This coffee spot is the best! I love the calming atmosphere and the music that’s played. The owners and staff are amazingly friendly. I love coming here to read, check email, and have conversation with customers known and unknown. Dogs are welcomed as well. My favorite drink is the chai latte (I add chocolate), but the barista can make any hot or cold drink you want.
My family and I are traveling to Colorado from Florida. On our way my husband was determined he was going to die if he didn’t get coffee lol. We found cornerstone and co. online and it had great reviews. My husband loves coffee but I hate it so I asked for a vanilla chai tea. The lady informed my husband that they do not make chai teas but since it’s what we asked for she would make one for us.. HANDS DOWN the BEST chai tea I’ve ever had! Thank you for your kind gesture and willingness to make something special for us. We will definitely be returning on our next drive through.
Driving home after a trip we unexpectedly found ourselves in Albany, GA for the night. An internet search showed we were very near a highly rated coffee shop, so we stopped in for a couple of decaf Americanos to-go next morning (we don’t need a jolt to get going - haha😎). The coffee was well balanced, nice and hot but not lava, rich, not acidic at all. A+ really. Even the cups were great, a nice swirled texture that just felt good in the hand. Everything about Cornerstone was special. The decor was tastefully minimal, bright and welcoming. The tables were beautifully handmade from reclaimed barn wood and contrasted nicely with the white walls and gentle morning light coming in from all the windows. Someone had a good eye for making a space feel both cheerful and relaxing, efficient and clean - things not always easy to bring together.Although a nice hot drink was the purpose for the stop, that was not the best part of our visit to Cornerstone Coffee. Meeting and getting to chat with the owner has to be one of the warmest interactions with a stranger we’ve had in a long, long time. This man is the real deal. We were originally planning to stay the night in Tallahassee, but due to hotels being all booked up, we diverted to Albany. Serendipity? We say no. We BELIEVE we were meant to meet a special guy at a coffee shop who would inspire and encourage us.Go to Cornerstone. Drink coffee. Maybe get a blessing when you really need it.

2021-11-22The coffee and atmosphere is good, but the owners’ service and accommodation were what really floored me.I brought my family to Albany for vacation, and we wanted some coffee before heading into the aquarium across the street. The owners, a young married couple, were so accommodating. They brought my kids treats we didn’t even order, just because they wanted to make them happy. They were so nice. Also, they make good coffee, and run a tight, clean ship.

2022-03-08No matter where we travel to, finding the best local coffee shop is a priority. So after settling in our search began with Cornerstone Coffee and let me tell you we were not disappointed!Fantastic location near the beautiful city park and parking is easy which is always a plus. Outside build out is clean and appealing.Upon entering you immediately feel the calming and cool coffee shop vibe which continues with the white and wood decor throughout. We began with the brew of the day and then switched and tried both a decaf and regular Americano. All the drinks were delicious but I highly recommend the espresso beverages served here.Service was phenomenal by both Isaac the barista and Stan the owner. Their love for people shine! While visiting we chatted with some locals and actually was able to get a little work done. Of course my sweet tooth kicked in and I also had to try the apple fritter which was worth the splurge.(PS - my only suggestion for this coffee shop is to offer more locally made pastry items, both savory and sweet)

2022-05-02I’ve started and deleted this review about 4 or 5 times now because I keep thinking of different ways to say how much I enjoyed my stop by Cornerstone this morning! I’ve been meaning to go by with some friends and it just hasn’t worked out until today. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Stan. After a few questions, he suggested a Chocolate Caramel Almond Milk Latte and I’m so glad he did!! 🙌🏻 It was not an option on the menu so I was impressed he took the time to find out my preferences and make a custom coffee instead of just pushing a menu item. Before I got back to my car, I was already thinking about my next cup of coffee! 😊

2022-05-18My hubby and I stopped by during a quick lunch break. Got a chance to meet the owner. He was very nice. It is a quaint coffee shop and nice atmosphere. They have one of the best chais Ive gotten from a coffee shop and my hubby loved his hot cocoa and apple fritter.

2021-12-18Stopped in to see their holiday community activity. Tried their Rose Latte, which is a great blend of smooth, creamy espresso and aromatics with actually rose pedals. Not for everyone, but if you enjoy flowery flavors, like lavender, youll certainly like this too. I met the owners and learned they just recently open and wanted to do this activity to engage with the community and give back to them. Super sweet husband and wife. She played piano and sang Christmas songs beautifully. The establishment is nicely finished, clean, and currently decorated for Christmas as well. They also have some baked goods and teas available. I tried one of their blueberry muffins and found it perfectly moist and flavorful. Would highly recommend if youre passing through or staying in Albany.

2022-02-08My wife and I were running errands during the middle of the day and agreed to visit for a quick pick-me-up... we ran into the owner as he was headed out (he and his wife are a genuinely kindhearted and adorable couple with personalities that have a gravitational pull). He took a little time out to bring us to the entrance to show us the inside and to introduce us to the barista on shift. The moment we entered, we were wowed by the decor, the lighting – as it complemented the spacious layout and the decor, and the vintage inlay of the wooden countertops, as you sit and face the windows.Immediately, this place gave us a warm and inviting vibe!Oh yeah – the coffee: we both ordered caramel lattes with heated croissants. The lattes were blended perfectly and definitely gave us a mid-day booster with a croissant to boot. We couldnt have asked for a better experience. With coffee and pastries this great and owners who are both down to earth people, the Cornerstone + Co deserves more than five star ratings and reviews. If youre in the area, we highly recommend!

2022-06-24Were always looking for pet-friendly spots to take our pup. Not only is she welcome at Cornerstone, theyve given her complimentary pup cups. The customer service has been unmatched and the dirty chai is excellent. Highly recommend you check it out!

2022-03-22Great to wander into this shop on a work break. Owners and staff and super friendly. I travel extensively throughout the nation, and I can honestly say that they have one of the best dirty chai lattes I’ve ever had. Whether your passing through or a local, please support this business!
