If I could give it 0 starts I would. We got to the hotel checked in and our room was disgusting. The floor was sticky and there was a spill all over the floor between the beds, and there was someone’s stuff in the bed bc it had not been cleaned. We found someone they cleaned the spill and brought me bedding to change. Then we went to take a shower that evening and the shower was nasty including a shower curtain that had boogers all over it. And the shampoo and conditioner inside was used. We went down stairs and asked for a new shower curtain which we didn’t receive for TWO days until asking over and over. Then my 16yo and 12 yo were stuck on the elevator for almost an hr where the fire dept had to be called to get them off. I continually asked to speak to a manger, finally before we checked out one of the girls got in touch with Cole who told me on the phone he would be reducing our bill. Three days later we’re charged full price. I call back and speak with Cole and he’s going to refund $70 off a $400 bill….. Thankfully we found this out when we did because we are needing to be in Albany at least 3 days per month and we now know this is NOT where we would ever want to stay again.
Positive: The best thing was we only stayed one night. Negative: No hand towels/NO towel racks in the bathroom/ A rusty toilet paper holder that would NOT HOLD the TP./Only an office chair,no comfy chair. Elevator floor flimsy. Very evident that Maintenance & Management is LACKING!! POOR breakfast...
We have stayed here before and loved it and chose to stay here again while we were in town for a concert. When we came to check in we were told our room was not available! Apparently the GM can cancel reservations made if others come in needing a room! So of you make a reservation dont hold your breath!!!!!
Room 333. While I appreciate the room we got, with separate bedroom, theres a lot about this hotel that needs improvement.Internet connection went in and out.Coffeemaker missing from room. Microwave glass plate wrong size. Sat in the chair by desk and flopped back, almost fell.Lampshades need replacement. Dirty, stained. Bathroom mirror had about 100 suction cup circle marks. Hair on bathroom floor. Theres no towel rack on the wall, to hang hand towel for it to dry. Shower looks like there was at one time a triangular shaped shelf, but is missing. Doorknob area dirty. No hair dryer.Furniture scuffed up. Weird furniture layout- ended up moving couch because it didnt face the tv. dirt under where the couch was- washed floor with hand towel.Pool and hot tub were drained. Free breakfast disappointed, low quality items. Eggs seemed like imitation. Syrup wasnt real maple syrup. Yogurt was the high sugar kind, etc.No alarm clock or any clock in room.Toilet seat needs replacement. Curtains let in some light- used a binder clip to keep closed. Conditioner provided but no shampoo. Artwork in odd places. Window dirty. No tv in bedroom. Ceiling needs patch and paint job.Coffee Available in lobby 24/7King Claw restaurant nearby excellent if you like seafood. Bed comfortable and overall good hotel location. Near lots of retail. But I would not stay here again. If you have low standards, you might like it here though.
Positive: Absolutely nothing it was disgusting, nothing worked, only a quarter of the staff we encountered was nice. Negative: Everything. The room looked like it was falling apart and was absolutely disgusting. Their was wires sticking out of the AC unit. House keeping completely skipped our room, they said I had to answer the door to housekeeping but they never came by.
Horrible first of all sheets on the bed was never changed & the blankets was made up on top of the sheets, the bathroom needs to be remodeled, no toilet paper, the carpet was dirty & smelled, the wash cloths & towels were very dingy with stains.. l had to go down stairs to the lobby to request all clean linen, no soap, ice just empty.. it was the worst ever & it’s has the nerve to be called Country inn suites..lastly the pool was completely empty & closed… Whose ever running that place are to be ashamed of themselves.. please close it down , renovation is needed & oh the telephone in the room was unplugged because it didn’t work.. Never again l give this place a zero..
Where to start. Made reservations for a wedding near hear anc chose this hotel because the grooms Mom was going to be here. Disappointments started with our two night charge being taken out of our account two days before arrival. Then we arrived and they gave our two bed suite away because they overbooked and gave us one bed suite with a pullout couch. The grooms mother showed up around 8:00 PM and had called the day earlier and confirmed. Upon arrival, they informed her the room was given away. This mother drove 8 hours to get to Albany, spend all evening working to make the wedding rehearsal dinner special and she gets to the hotel and they turn her away. There was a high school robotics fair this week and I guess they looked to make money and gave up her room. They did nothing to take care of this mother. Our room only had one towel for each of us...no extras. They had music playing over the loudspeakers in the hallway outside that was so loud we could hear it in our room all night. Breakfast was at 7:00 AM, I went down at 7:20 and the food was gone. There were a muffin or two but that was it. The large group of high school boys came down and ate everything. They completely closed the breakfast area and turned out the light at 9:30 AM. 30 minutes early. The system later that day deleted access for us and many more on our key cards so we couldnt get in our rooms. We had to go back down and get our keys rekeyed. The coffee pot had no coffee samplers in the room. They ran out and so we had none. THe list goes on how awful the stay was for what a normal guest would expect at a hotel that charged full rate for its rooms. I would not recommend this hotel. Pay the extra $50 and stay at a nicer place.
When I get to my room, the first thing I always do is check the mattress for bed bugs and bedding for cleanliness. No bed bugs, but the sheets were visibly stained. I’m sure the housekeeper who placed them on the bed saw the stains, but kept them on the bed. I called and asked for more sheets and pillowcases. The young lady at the front desk counter was sweet. She brought them right up. Since I was in a king bed, I needed 4 pillowcases. She only brought 2 but that was ok. However, one of those were dirty as well. So I just settled for that one pillowcase. The temperature has definitely dropped here (46 degrees) and my room was cold. I turned on the heat but the temperature in the room would get no greater than 73. I called front desk. She told me that maintenance would be here in the morning but she gladly brought me another blanket. I ended up sleeping in my jacket. The next morning I called and reminded them to have maintenance to check the heat. When I got back to the room, the thermostat read 75 and it seemed warmer. However, the closer it got for me to go to sleep, it was getting colder. I just turned the unit off and slept in my jacket. I also noticed that the housekeeper never replaced the three pillowcases. I will say that the hotel does not smell like one of those hotels that have old cigarette smoke stench. That was pleasant. The price was a decent price for two nights.
Got a double room w 2 queen beds plus couch bed. The couch bed wasnt great, you could feel the springs popping through. Lady at the front desk said shes worked their for 7/8 months & the pool, steam room & jacuzzi has been shut dwn. The carpets were very stained, only 1 ice machine worked but was one the first floor...I was on the 3rd so yeah. But other then that it was fine, people very friendly & helped to the best of there ability.
Bed was comfortable, best aspect, the 1st room they gave us was already occupied, imagine walking onto an already occupied room, I will always throw the bolt from here on! The bathroom light flickered on and off like bad wiring, the toilet would continue to run unless you played with the handle, and they only had the room stocked with a partial towel supply. The remodeling was poor in the room as well and the coffee maker was missing the pot lid so the coffee spilled out over the top. Bottom line, I slept great on a very comfortable bed and that was the most important part
Positive: The location is excellent. It¿s near shopping and restaurants. Negative: Hotel is in the process of renovating, but wasn¿t told until I arrived. Rooms aren¿t as pictured. Bathroom is not clean and shower doesn¿t drain properly, floors are dangerous when wet. No place to sit except the bed. Fridge doesn¿t work.
I was going to use this hotel to book every weekend for two months but seem to continue to have issues with. In our visit on the first weekend of October we once again didnt have the towels we needed for a King room with two guest. We had to ask front desk for towels. The air in the room didnt properly work and the thermostat was broken. Upon checking in we was told that there would be $100 hold because of other guests smoking in the rooms. Money wasnt the issue but it wasnt posted on the website when I booked. The front desk worker stated that Jaye Lomax made the decision and she just works there. This will be my last time booking even though I like staying at Country Inn Hotels. Very disappointed. I usually get surveys after staying and was surprised I didnt after I stated I will be writing one.
Positive: The morning staff were very friendly. Negative: There was a room error and the night clerk interrogated us why we were in the room we were assigned. She asked numerous questions about why we were in the rooms and repeatedly told us we were not to be in the room. She never apologized.
The staff were very nice. Other than that, the place is awful. The room was dirty, they left us one towel, there was a poorly patched hole in the bathroom door, and the mattresses were God awful. If our stay had been more than one night, Id have probably asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. Definitely not worth the $140 I paid. Replace the mattresses please, thats kind of the entire point of a hotel, so youre failing horribly.
This place has gone down tremendously since I last stayed there. Not sure what has happened, but the room was not the best kept. There were long strands of hair all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom mirror was dirty. The bathroom itself didn’t look clean that we ended up cleaning it ourselves. As for the bed, it wasn’t made up neatly. We had only hoped the linen was clean. Not to mention there were hardly any towels in the bathroom and when we asked for more, we were told none were available. Probably not going to stay there again whenever we’re in town. The staff was nice, but that was about it unfortunately.
Positive: Beds and pillows comfortable Negative: Poor handicapped room. Chairs on wheels with no arms for my handicapped husband that slid across floor! Shower walk up shower instead of going down. Used towels on floor because it was as slippery and unsafe!! No dryer in room. Front desk said none av
Positive: I was moved to a different room due to missing items in the room. Was told none of the pools, gym, sauna that was not advertised as closed on the site were open as the pool was drained. The second room I was in had bugs and I have video. Negative: Both days I was told a manager would contact me and so far nothing.
Positive: Convenient location to food, Walmart, and Mall. The front desk staff was extremely helpful when trying to find somewhere to eat, and other general questions. 10 starts for those ladies. Negative: The A/C cooled the front room down quickly, but the bedroom was still warm. Need better pillows. I used 4 pillows and my head was flat on the mattress, which caused a crick in my neck. There were nasty stains on couch, wouldn¿t let child sleep there.
The room wasnt very clean. Honestly, they couldve done better. Bedsheets were questionable (old & worn) - walked to front desk and changed my own sheets. Window curtains were hanging with holes. My experience was disppointing😒I will add the front desk staff was professional.
No towels!!!I have stayed at other Country Inn & Suites and have had pretty good experiences. Clearly their standards are not the same everywhere. The one staff person was great. Rooms were awful. Thermostat didnt work in 1st room so had to be moved. Second room had no towels so had to make a trip back to reception only to get pool towels in place of bath towels because thats all they had. The room left a lot to be desired, like a tub faucet attached to the wall! When I turned the water on it dislodged from the wall. The bathroom walls had poor attempts to repair holes and something yellow dried that had dripped behind the door. Too many issues to name. Thankfully it was just for one night but I wouldnt stay again.
I normally will stay here at least twice a year but due to covid I didn’t visit Albany last year I was in room 341 one of the beds was horrible when you lay on it you kind of roll in the middle because it sinks in,the door is hard to close because it didn’t latch properly housekeeping was horrible when left for the day came back all she did was leave towels which was pool towels she didn’t even take the trash out, ice machines only work on one floor, laundry room on our was out of order, no breakfast of any kind although when I made reservations it said there would be grab and go bag breakfast. Front desk staff was nice.
DO NOT STAY HERE... unless you are a person who is use to staying at MOTELS or low budget hotels where the customer service is non existent.I just left there and had to have my reservation canceled because they tried to put me in a room connected to the EVENTS rooms which had a party going on. It was about 7pm and there was loud music and people celebrating in the room. I asked the front desk person LYNN to move me elsewhere and she said that was the only room and she could only ask them to turn the music down some. Yet people checked in after me. Well where did their room come from??? Obviously the rooms were pre assigned or something and she didn’t want to reassign me to another room. Then she said there was a suite AVAILABLE but she refused to upgrade me, stating that my rate was low and she couldn’t put me in a suite for that price. Mind you, she never told me the price of the suite, she just kept repeating my rate OUT LOUD and saying she couldn’t put me in a suite for that price. First of all, that’s terrible customer service to say a rate out loud for other guests to hear. And it was rude of her to basically tell me that since I got a discount I wasn’t worth accommodating. She didn’t even whisper it my rate. Other people in the lobby heard her. I informed her that I’m a member and a travel agent and that’s why my rate is discounted. She said unless there is something physically wrong with my room, I can not be given the suite. I guess my room sharing the wall of a full blown party isn’t worth the couple of dollars they would lose by putting me in an upgraded room.LYNN did NOT care at all. She never apologized or gave any sincerity. She simply told me she could check me out and allow me to cancel so I could stay somewhere else....She was very nonchalant and matter of fact. This place has gone way down hill. It never use to be like this a few years ago. My family use to hold our reunion room block here, as well as other big events we would have and I see why they stopped! I’m thinking this is a new management company from before and it sucks! I decided to stay at Courtyard by Marriott instead. I paid 3x the amount for my room there, so it wasn’t about the money. It was about the lack of customer service, care and concern!! If you aren’t on a tight budget, I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express or the Courtyard. They are a higher star level and they treat you much better. The rooms are also nicer. I will be sharing my discontent with Radisson Rewards in a letter.
Owner very rude. Better service from hotels that are not franchisesUpdate *there was an older lady that appeared from the back with an accent and when I asked the front desk person with the tattoos if that was the manager she said no she’s the owner. Your response backs up how rude you all are by saying they live in Atlanta as if they don’t come down. This hotel should not be allowed to use this name very unprofessional*
Dont even want to give this place 1 star. From the moment of check in I knew I should have found a different hotel. Asked for a luggage cart. Was told they only had 2 and she didnt know where they were.. I was on the 3rd floor, had to male multiple trips to unload and to load back up. Was told the pool was unavailable and so was breakfast. Two things offered on the website. Didnt get a discounted price for the inconvenience. Our room keys stopped working twice. The second time the guy had to let us in our room with a black box and told us not to leave our room. We are not going to stay in our room. We are grown. There was dirty towels placed in our room. There was bugs crawling in the stairwell. The mini fridge wouldnt get our drinks cold. Couldnt get our room cooler then 73. I keep my a.c. at home on 65. It was miserable trying to sleep. Overall will not recommend this hotel.
Positive: Staff was polite Negative: POOL WAS CLOSED VERY DISAPPOINTING! Bed was hard, pillows were the worst, did not get a restful nights sleep due to discomfort. Linen and towels sent to another hotel. Hallways and stairwells were very dirty. We left as soon as our business was done
The location was great because its located right of the expressway. I liked the room but for the exception of it not having a landline phone in the room, it didnt have a place to hang towels/ towel rack, and it didnt have a vent in the bathroom. I did like the new upgraded 55 Tv..& the windows needed cleaning seemed to be more on the outside of the building though.
I am giving this excellent review because of Bailey. She is, in my opinion, the best at her job. She was able to fix any issues my company had with the reservations mix-ups and never once got upset by the mistakes made by my construction crews inability to check-in properly or by the mistakes the weekend staff made by checking the crew in incorrectly. Bailey is extremely pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and user friendly.
Wonderful front desk staff, especially Alex. Nice room, clean and quiet. Firm bed. Good TV channels. Excellent bathroom, super hot water. Loved having a fridge. Breakfast was good but could have been a little hotter. Nice do it yourself waffles. Good coffee. Excellent cooked grits. All in all, a nice place and will stay there again.
I had requested a first floor room because my mom is 94 years old but was told none were available. Then went to third floor room to find one bed not made and when I went to call the front desk the phone wasn’t working. Went back to front desk and told them and miraculously there was a first floor room available but the manager passed by and said “if you waited for check in time the room would have been cleaned “ I arrived at 2:30 30 minutes before official check in time. I wanted to speak to him but he claimed he was on a conference call but told his assistant I would have gladly waited the half hour for a clean first floor room. Then the following day my mom was very tired and we left the do not disturb sign on the door until 12:30 pm and came back at 10:30 pm to find an uncleaned room. Could not get any answer why until morning. Was told that the first floor housekeeper went home at 12:00 noon and no one else could clean the room and if I would have notified them they would have cleaned the room. Seriously! I have to notify you to clean my room because your housekeeper went home early. When I complained to corporate office they said they would alert the manager to call me. Not feeling too confident because he is the one that told me you should have waited till after 3 to check in... we are talking about 20-30 minutes. So my comment to him was I probably wouldn’t stay there again and his customer service comment was that is fine with us.
It was a place to stay....Our bathroom door had a hole in the front of it like someone tried to knock it down. The bathroom mirror was useless due to a film all over it. The outside window is so dirty you think every day is cloudy. The beds were horrible, hard on one side, rolls to the middle, no comforter. No landline, which is a liability because not everyone has a cellphone or if it has died and you need medical help, you have NO WAY to call anyone. If I can attach pictures I will, but convenient location is a plus.
I stay here with my family when I come into town and it’s always the best stay. All of the staff have always been nice and welcoming, great breakfast, everything is always clean i would recommend if you are looking for a great safe clean place to stay that has the best customer service this is the place for you
The staff is exceptional especially Sarah who goes above and beyond. Renee, our housekeeper did a fantastic job every day (4 days). The lady in the breakfast area was friendly and there was always plenty of food available, however, they it’s pretty much the same thing every day alternating scrambled eggs and sausage with biscuits and gravy. That’s not her fault and it’s not really a complaint but more of a suggestion. We would definitely come back.
This hotel looks to be clean but my mom was bitten by a bed bug. I was told management was out and would give me a call three days later. They never did. After I called them , I was notified by management that he had no records of my complaints, but the exterminator said there are no bed bugs. As if they actually followed up with my complaints that again, he had no records of because he was not there. I literally took the bug to the front desk the night of the incident which was 1130pm. I wanted a refund and to leave. The night audit stated he could only switched my room. 200 dollars a night (I had a suite) to wake up in the middle of the night with bugs biting you is unacceptable. This hotel is not trustworthy. By the way, the pool was disgusting with dirty towels and underwear all over the tables and floor. I do not recommend this hotel.
Worst experience ever! Rooms not prepared with supplies such as wash rags. The staff are ghetto and unfriendly. Also if they THINK u smoked in the room they will kick you out and charge you for the additional night even if u don’t stay. I was stepping out periodically smoking and because I smelled like smoke I was kicked out when the cameras shows me going out several times to smoke!
My company stays at this motel every week. Clean rooms all the people are nice We stay here twice a week every week will not change Motels and they give us a very good price but cant understand why theres no food.. They blame it on Corona virus however The other motels has breakfast O well McDonalds is down the street
Visited for a few to celebrate my anniversary. I had a room with a jacuzzi tub in the room and it was amazing! The bed was nice and comfortable. The front desk workers were pretty good too. The full breakfast each day was pretty good as well with its options of different items to try. I would definitely give this hotel a second stay in the future.
The best part of my stay was Chris’s amazing attempts at providing customer service to me, as well as the dining staff young lady, I apologize I do not know her name. My biggest complaint was that I was here on week long business, driving up four hours, then staying four nights. I had a crazy workload, in addition to beginning grad school. I was in a room where the adjoining room had “what sounded like”, three to four very loud children that ranged from a crying baby, a screaming mother, toddler running up down etc. I know children will be children however the routine was for the noise to begin at 5pm and end well after midnight. I asked to move rooms because of the quiet and peace I needed for school and work, however was advised they were full. Needless to say, I had to blast my television to drown out the sounds which made for horrible concentration and I ultimately deduced that I was placed next to a family that was using the hotel for extended stay purposes. I know as a business you cannot discriminate, but extended stay clients should be in one of those rooms like room 210 that is not adjoined to another wall, disrupting other guests. I am chronically fatigued and praying that my graduate assignment grades come back favorable! I would have rather slept in the car most nights here. Again, the front desk was very nice as far as soft skills are concerned, however I felt this needed to be shared so that a strategy be put in place for all guests needs to be met.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Restaurants nearby. The breakfast was tasty. That’s the good. The air conditioning was too noisy had to turn it off to get any sleep. Wifi very slow and annoying. Looks like someone started to reno the bathroom but never finished the job. Bare drywall that is missing either tiles or paint. Looks awful. The shower doesn’t seem to ever get cleaned. Soap and minerals everywhere that can easily be cleaned but isn’t. The worst was the gold carpet that had years of stains all over it that were disgusting. C’mon guys clean the carpet.
The staffs were very rude the carpet in the hallways were coming up. The Rooms were clearly not done. They were accusing us for smoking in side! The pool was very nasty. They put us in a room underneath a room that was under construction we got woke up from it. The men that were doing the construction were very mean and were talking about some very nasty thigs. The maiden was caught taking pictures of us when we were asleep. This whole place is a HUGE scam!
They failed to tell us that the pool, dry bar, and breakfast bar was closed. They say they have grab and go breakfast which isn’t true! The service was horrible, I asked for some sugar for my coffee and they brought one packet! The front desk staff was so rude and disrespectful and their appearance was very unprofessional! They played loud rock and roll music throughout the building over the speakers! I love rock and roll but when you have to call down to the lobby and have them turn it down so you can sleep! Worst experience I have ever had in a hotel! I will not shadow this place ever again!
Your response is BS. The charge was placed TWO DAYS after my stay cleared my account. I have not tried to contact you since the charges were recovered by my bank. The Albany police department fraud complaint and the corporate office fraud complaint numbers were made available to you. You have only responded to this issue here, so maybe the theft was condone or performed by you instead of your staff. It happened i have proof. You attempted to steal from me and I will continue to tell the world. DONT STAY HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CARD INFORMATION
Room was 79 degrees when i entered and smelled really musty. Bed wasnt really great and the pillows were really low quality. Was not notified i wouldnt be able to get free breakfast because of a private event that never happened and wasnt notified of it the night before. Overall not really great experience but the receptionists were kinda nice.
Absolutely disappointed with this hotel. First, the air in the hotel isnt working so the staff put a portable ac unit in our room without calling and informing us of this, we had to walk into our suite to find out ourselves. When this was brought to the front desk attendant attention, we were informed that Maintenance just put the portable unit into the room before we arrived at 5pm. Its now 10:15pm and our room is still extremely hot. Second, the wifi doesnt work at all. Third, there are only two towels and one wash rag in our suite (333) and my brothers room (140). All of our towels have holes in them! This has to be the worst experience at a hotel we have ever experienced. To top it off, we are down here to bury my grandmother who passed away Friday. This isnt something that we wanted to deal with on top of all the stress my family has now. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!!!!I will say the young man at the front desk was very helpful with trying to make us comfortable and even found some extra fans around the hotel to put into our room. Thank you!
Hotel staff are friendly, hotel is under renovation outside but the rooms could use some TLC. As soon as I started unpacking I noticed a couple toys that must of been left behind under the bed skirt. The bathroom is clean but there is calcium build up in the shower and the room has a odor of mildew, not bad enough to get me to move rooms but its there. Overall, I gave it 4 stars because the location is great and breakfast was nice to have available.
Phenomenal Staff; Smooth Check In Process; SUPER CLEAN & Safe & Quiet...three Excessively important factors as a Business Traveler on “The Road” 20-30 weeks per year 15 yrs running. Rarely IF EVER do I take the time to leave a review as typically it’s a “Groundhogs Day” Experience regardless of how good, bad, or ugly the circumstances. More often than not many people are quick to point out shortcomings or less than perfect customer service. I’m taking the time to recognize and acknowledge the outstanding customer service both myself and fellow coworkers have had the pleasure of enjoying. Top Notch Facilities. Maximum Value on the Money. Absolute No Brainer Deal.....Stay here when and if you ever travel to Albany, GA. EVERYTIME. Always.
This hotel was relatively nice... I really have few complaints overall...just maybe could use some updating and cleaning of carpets and such in the rooms specifically. Other than that it is family-friendly. The breakfast was decent nothing spectacular just basic eggs and toast, cereal, etc. A nice touch I thought was fresh, warm cookies at the front desk and the popcorn machine they had in the lobby offering freshly popped butter popcorn to guest one night we came in. Sometimes its about the small things!
Stay at this property was wonderful! The front desk Gaby and the over night person Cole, were very helpful with all my questions and the housekeeper who cleaned my room, Renee, did a wonderful job. Will be staying here again in the future. Only reason for four stars is because of slow internet! Please fix this!
It was horrible we were there for only 1 day the staff was very rude, and the rooms looked nothing like they showed on the pics and the pool was disgusting they don’t clean it nd the hot tub looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the 1980s, the rooms weren’t finished The construction workers were very loud at like 8 am they said that we were smoking in our hotel room when we weren’t scammed us and took 600$ from us and took pics of us things in our room while we were asleep they told us and I have video proof. 🤡🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Right next to the highway, super clean on approach and inside the rooms, and they price matched a special that I found online. I have to give honorable mention to Sara, the night receptionist. She is amazing! She greeted me with an awesome smile and attitude, showed care and concern for my well-being, and just simply treated me like I was the most important person in her life at that time. She made me feel special, which is all any customer wants anyway!! Glad to see someone gets it! Im coming back because of her, and Im telling others who frequent this town as well. Much love for this hotel!
Our room was not cleaned very well. The toilet seat was up when we got there and there was diarrhea splatter stuck in toilet. The pillow cases had makeup stain on it or it wasn’t changed. Other pillow cases was dirty. Sheet had a dark stain on it or it was dirty. We complained and all the front desk could do it write it down and give me pillow cases to replace myself and we had to go to the store to buy toilet cleaner. Tile was loose in bathroom and needs lots of work. Bed and pillows are very uncomfortable so we didn’t get good sleep. Other friends there too and they had to clean their bathroom with our cleaner. They only knocked off $11 off our bill. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s too bad because most Country Inns are nice.
First of all I would like to say that I usually dont give feed back but this was a little extreme. First of all the carpet was filthy and the the furniture needed dusting. We were so annoyed with the drawers were unable to shut.... But the worst part of our stay was not having A/C the front desk was notified three times before someone came to check. Took them hours to realize the circuit breaker had tripped. Very miserable. Worst ever
I enjoyed visit, just didnt like the door to pool and hot tub was open to the outside and it was hot as well as the bugs from outside. A lot of very young front desk clerk and office staff. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good as well as kitchen staff nice and pleasant.
A humble hotel that is (at the time of this review) under renovations. The hotel is in need of dire repair in several areas, but overall it really isnt too bad. The staff are friendly and very courteous, and apologetic over the state of the building. Our queen size beds were only full size, and the mattresses are overdue for replacement; luckily the back pain is complimentary! I think Ill let the photos of our room do the rest of the talking. To sum up; this is a fine place for an overnight stay. Any longer and I would suggest you find other accommodations. With time however, this place will most definitely shine.
This review may be lengthy but I hope people read. I had to evacuate due to Hurricane Michael hitting Panama City and I had no where else to go, it was me and my disabled mom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager Mr. Patel however not so much. I checked in Wednesday and booked until Saturday due to the devastation left by the storm. The power went out at the hotel Thursday night and they were unable to charge and cards for payments but the made a verbal agreement that my room would not be sold and they would charge the card when the power came on. However, come Friday morning Mr. Patel has a staff member inform me that they sold my room and my mom and i had to leave. We were on the 3rd floor and again my mom is disabled, we had no where else to go and couldn’t go home. I will not be staying here again and not to mention our room had bedbugs, my mom and I have bites on our legs and arms. This is sad because like I said they staff was really nice
I travel with my husband sometimes with his job. I will just relax in the room while he goes to work. This hotel is near alot of shops which made it easy for me to go out and explore but still quiet enough to enjoy a nap or sit in their rocking chairs outside. The bed was super comfortable and the A/C was kickin. It was clean, the people were friendly and the breakfast was really good. Will stay again!!
My husband reserved a room as a surprise getaway. The room was nice however the towels smelled like moth balls and there was a lot of hair left in the corners and on the door of the bathroom. The keys to our room had to be reset after one use and it took 10 minutes for the front desk agent to acknowledge our presence as we waited to be helped. Other than those minor issues it was an okay visit.
This is by far my favorite motel in town indoor swimming pool hot tub and sauna and workout area and its under 100 bucks a night and they have a full continental breakfast with make your own waffles sausage and eggs and cereal and toast and all that good stuff.... You cannot find a better motel here in Albany Georgia...
Room was not clean and had a musty/moldy smell. Bathroom had hair on dead bugs on the floor. Front desk staff was friendly enough, but not helpful. Stayed 5 nights and housekeeping never even considered emptying the 2 overflowing trash cans we left by the door for them to see. Reserved a double queen one bedroom suite and got a tiny room with two queen beds with only $5 off of the entire bill. Room was already overpriced. Terrible disappointment. The only bonus was the popcorn served Monday through Wednesday evening, and occasionally fresh baked cookies.
I will never stay in this hotel again!! The staff was very helpful and polite but the rooms were filthy. The pillows on the bed were awful! They were too soft. My son said the sofa bed was so bad his back was hurting. And he is only 15. So he ended up sleeping in a chair with his feet propped up on the sofa bed. The sofa and chairs had stains on them. They were so nasty we had to lay a towel down to sit on them. There was a bra under the night stand left by the guest the night before and their food was still in the microwave! The carpets were filthy!!! I had other family members staying there as well and they also stated how nasty the sofa, chairs and carpet were. The water in the pool didnt look clean. This place needs a total makeover and new furniture.
We got the double queen suite, because we need room for six to sleep. The hide-a-bed couch was filthy, stained, worn, and the bed supports had been damaged. It appeared they tried to fix with zip ties, which didnt work. Bathroom looked like it was being updated and wasnt done. Tub was dirty and had hair in it. You could tell the room should have to televisions, but was missing one as it had two remotes and channel lists; note the channel list was wrong. This was subpar even though it was the cheapest hotel with a double bed suite. No breakfast due to COVID.
My husband and I was a guest there and the top comforter had a blood stain on it so I pulled the sheets back to see the mattress protector had a blood stain on it as well. My husband asked for clean linen and all we were given was a flat and fitted sheet! Called corporate and I was supposed to get a call back after they viewed the video and I have not heard from them yet!
The rooms are awful. They are outdated, smell like mold, there is visible mold in the caulking in the tub, there is calcium build up on the bathtubs, the beds are terrible! Honestly you might be better off sleeping in your car. I would recommend Holiday Inn, not this disgusting hotel.
Had to change rooms because there was an awful odor, AC electrical wires all over the floor, stains.... just awful. My parents smoke detector was broken with wires sticking out(hazard) stains all over the furniture and to top off cockroachs. Bathroom showers, broken.... Then the receptionist that evening, a young teenage girl was very rude and more concerned about ordering her food on Grubhub then doing her job.2 stars because it was close to my grandparents which is why we were there.
I stayed here for one night for work and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The staff was friendly, my room was very comfortable and the bed was lovely. They made fresh air popped popcorn in the lobby and had quite a good complimentary breakfast. My worked booked the hotel for me last time, but next time I will choose this hotel deliberately.
When I arrived in my room I noticed there was not a TV in the suite part of the room. I spoke to Austin who advised I would need to speak to the day shift for resolution. When I went back up to the room my grandson was letting out the sofa bed. I noticed the sheet had curly hair on them and were stained I went back down advised Austin who gave me clean sheets. When I stepped in the shower there was an empty shampoo bottler on the tub shelf. There were trace amounts of mold in the bathroom which indicated to me the room had not been cleaned properly. I bring stuff cleaning supplies whenever I stay in a hotel but I could not sweep and the carpet was dirty. When I complained no one was able to address my concerns. I left at 0830 being advised by Angie that I would receive a call from the manager. I called the Hotel back at 5 and was told the manager was in a meeting. We left our function and went back to the hotel the desk clerk called him but walked into the back room to speak to him. The desk clerk returned and told me he was off site at a meeting while he was on hold. I asked why can’t I speak to him on the phone after a bit of questioning she finally handed me the phone. Alec said why would I come out to the hotel if they told me he was in a meeting. He explained he is off site at another property. I interjected advising him the I left the hotel around 830 and it was now after 5 and had not heard from him. Alecs response was I didn’t know I had to make you aware of my schedule adding I am handling something more important than a room not having a TV. He noted that when I go to Walmart I have to stand in line until I reach the register. I agreed but said it does not take 9 hours for that to happen. Alec was condescending during the entire conversation but when he told me he would call me back when he got to me. I left the hotel and immediately contacted Radisson customer care. My information was taken and I was told there would be resolution within 3 days. I received a call back from Alec later in the day and his attitude had changed immensely. He credited our account but I believe it was only due to the Brand Radisson reaching out to him. While I am satisfied with the resolution I will never stay at this hotel again. I believe Hotel Impossible needs to review this property. Customer service is nonexistent and the cleaning staff needs to be retrained on the cleaning of reused rooms. I am particularly pleased with the staff at Radisson Customer Care.
The hotel is clean and the rooms are average but when I travel I am usually working. The desk in the king suite had no chair so I had to pull the living room furniture up to it. It worked but was far from ideal. The gym was also sub par. The equipment was pretty old and worn and the air seemed to not work so it was 82 degrees in the room. Overall the price wasnt bad but I probably wont return.
Filthy hotel. Cleanliness is not their forte or service. They hotel ran out of towels. The towels I had in my room were discolored! When I spoke to the lady at the front desk she had all types of excuses as to why they don’t have clean towels ready for their guest! Check out the pictures
It was ok for the first two nights, but on the 3rd night my next door neighbors were party till 2am. Loud music, loud noises. Did not get any sleep. Bed also was very firm, like I was sleeping on the actually foundation rather than the mattress. I will say housekeeping staff were top notch.
I would never recommend this hotel. When I entered to check in Victoria never greeted me she just stood there until I spoke. After I checked in the sheets and pillowcases have stains and dont bother getting a good nights rest. They have blackout curtains that dont close. The street lights shine directly in the room. I called the front desk to ask for additional blankets I was told if we have additional blankets we will send them to your room. She never called back to say we dont have any to spare I had to go to the front. She said they dont have any surplus because the guest usually take (steal) them. Not my problem. No use in contacting corporate they are useless. So if you want to be uncomfortable and receive terrible customer service choose this hotel. I see that country inn respond to these reviews with an apology. There is no need to apologize after the fact. You had the opportunity to fix it while I was there. You can apologize by refunding my money and training your staff in hospitality and excellent customer service.
This is a great place to stay. Comfy. Nice pool and hot tub, good breakfast. Only criticism is that the staff does not pay attention to detail. Will refill coffee but not sugar or cream. Does not check public bathrooms for soap and towels. Things like that. Could be outstanding but is just average.
Came from ATL and stayed here for 2 nights, there were stains on the sheets, and had a not so pleasant smell in the first room so I requested another room and got it. Great location!! Its close to walmart, the movie theater and quite a few restarants. Staff is very nice! One of the staff members, Jessica did all she could to help me and make sure that I was satisfied with my stay. Breakfast was great 👍 definitely would stay here again
This hotel was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. For the money I paid, I didnt expect to see blood spatter on the walls and chairs. I guess there was a fight in the room the night before. The maid didnt bother cleaning it. We were giving another room but it was infested with cockroaches. The pool was very filthy. I regret not taking pictures so the world could see my pain.***UPDATE*** Managment replied and said there was a kids party the night before and cranberry juice was spilled. Are you kidding me. There was no cleaning chemical on the spots and definitely no smell of cranberries, which i drink every day. Nice try and patiently waiting for the next lie.
The hotel is in dire need of a refresh. Carpets are awful, cheap beds, small TVs, vending machine on first floor took my money then, when I went to report to the front desk the girl had to write a note to give to her boss in the morning. The room I was in has a desk but no chair. Maintenance came into my room without knocking. I’ll stick with Hilton going forward
Suite was missing a tv..fridge was supposed to be slightly larger..obvious things had been removed from my room or swapped. Floor qaa stained and unclean in a lot of areas. Wifi was shotty, hot tub, treadmill, & sauna was broken. The indoor pool area will burn ur eyes and nose as soon as you enter the area due to over chlorination of the water. There is some exotic ant infestation throughout the hotel that is out of control. Most rooms took in water during Michael and smell of mildew and mold is prominent. Staff uses a deodorizing spray to cover it up that wears off after a day or two. Hotel gets very busy and very loud on weekends. Several front desk employees lack basic problem solving skills and may not be able to read which led to a lot of frustration, inconvenience and expensive resolutions. Breakfast is always the same alternating sausage and bacon. Great location, needs solid leadership/ management for front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping. Maintenance is onsite consistently yet seem to have specific assignments they do not detour from. Property is owned by a patel. Issues I have listed have been addressed numerous times by the same companies.. why have the same companies return time and again to perform the same repairs?? Either pony up the dough to make the repairs needed or find new companies to address the ongoing issues. My stay here was a bit lengthy so I saw more than your one or 2 nighter. I saw between 5 & 10 guests leave immediately after checking in due to lack of cleanliness. The most expensive room has a portion of the ceiling caving in and is usually pretty dirty. I noticed this room was used by staff to have meetings and hangout. With all that said this place could be fabulous, beds are comfortable suites are roomy, fresh baked cookies all day, popcorn middle of week and some staff are awesome.
Arrived at 11:30pm to find that my 2 night reservation had been cancelled without any prior notice. The reservation was made 2 weeks in advance, confirmation was received 2 days before check-in, and the rooms were paid in full. My family had 3 rooms reserved individually and 2 of the rooms checked in without issue. The only reason given by the hotel staff for the cancelation of my room was, were full. Horrible customer experience, complacent staff.
So, I book a one night last Sat and the night staff was very understanding and helpful, but i was not happy at all. There was smell of strong smoking, and the pool area still was dirty with cholthes of other people. I book this day for relaxing, but for a place that is supposed to be non-smoking, i was concer for my health, i told the staff memeber that i was born with asthmas and I had my god-daughter with me. But what is was worst, was I was told the owner was coming by about the smoking that night, I waited. No one came to check that evening or ask if I would like to move. In the morning, I talk to a manager, he explain the situation of whay was going to happen to the rooms and that he would call me to decuse more or something before I write this review. I have not heard from anyone one since. I was not happy with the cold breakfast, and my room with a huge black stain on the carpet, amd small rust in the tub in room.36. I would have given a better review. But when told I would get a call back, i that customer service serious. Thats why Im writing this
This is the worst hotel experience ever. I couldnt sleep it was so bad! Bugs were crawling in the bathroom and the sofa and chairs looked like a murder scene! I know I should have booked with the Hilton or Holiday Inn Express. I will never book at this hotel again. Check out the pictures. *I had trouble uploading the video of the bugs from the bathroom. But I have it...
I have stayed at many Country Inn hotels and this one was by far the worst. Our room was straight up dirty. Dirty floor, mildew on the shower curtain, hair on the pillow. Outdated, torn and mismatched furniture. Disgusting. The price was far too high for a room of this low quality and customer service was subpar. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
The location was great and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and they have good prices. Plenty of channels to choose from on the tube. Internet was free and had good speed.Staff called me once I got to my room to make sure everything was okay in my room.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.
The staff is horrible. They have been yelling up and down the halls all morning waking everyone for the last 3 hours. Spoke to one and explained that some people may have been up late and we’re trying to rest up and she agreed to keep it down but 5 minutes later it was right back to yelling. The rooms however are not bad all.
I have stayed in several County Inn & Suites, and I have to say this is the worst one by far. When we got here at about midnight there were about five guys hanging out in the chairs out front getting drunk. Seemed to be friends with the guy working the front desk because as soon as we headed up to our room he headed outside. We had to carry all of our bags in by hand (family of 6) because there were no luggage carts available. The guy working the desk said that other guests must have kept them in their rooms. When we got upstairs the entire floor smelled strongly of cigar smoke. When we got in our room the bathroom door would not even close and the sheets on one of the beds had what looked like a pubic hair and a couple of blood stains. Breakfast in the morning was good. However, the breakfast attendant quickly started putting everything away, almost slinging things, as soon as 9:30 hit. She even turned the drink machine off while we were still sitting there eating. The staff here was terrible. Not friendly at all. The entire time we were here we had one person...one...say hello to us. None of us were impressed with anything about this place. The room was cheap, but I think if I stay in Albany again I will pay more to stay somewhere, anywhere, other than here.
What a wonderful staff and what a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the time we checked in KHush and Shandorah were so friendly and helpful. Erica, the housekeeper, had our room spotless, and Jessica, the breakfast attendant, keep everything hot and ready to eat. These employees made our stay perfect! (We met friends for the holiday) Thank you, ladies, for a job well done !
I was in Albany recently. The hotels by the mall were booked so I decided to stop in the Country Inn for the night. They had 3 rooms left and the desk clerk was very helpfull. I checked in went up to the room. Did a quick walk thru took a few photos and went back down and checked out. The room was very worn and dirty. Stained floors, unkept beds I was glad I did not take my luggage up with me as I not sure about the cleaning of the room. They told me the hotel was scheduled for Remodeling but were suprised that I was not pleased with the room. No I will not return to this hotel and Traveling as much as I have there are bery few places Ihave not stayed.
Last week I made plans to go to Albany with my girlfriend to see some friends. I made reservations at the Country Inn & Suites because they looked like the cleanest and best rates for the area; They were. I loved everything about the hotel except for the service. The lady I called & spoke with to make my reservations with was very polite but was not very knowledgeable on the packages that they offered. She had to keep going back to her manager to get answers for my questions. When I actually got to the hotel and checked in, The package that I purchased (and paid for) I didnt have. I looked up my reservations online and everything was messed up. I didnt have the package I paid for and when I brought my problem to the desk I was told that my room rate would be adjusted. I got a new bill the next morning and five dollars was taken off my bill. The package I purchased had a gift card to some restaurant for $25 and there was also supposed to be a bottle of champagne in my room waiting for myself and my girlfriend; but I only was given a $5 discount on my bill; which when I looked at my account was never changed anyways!!!! I was told that I should have reserved the room online if I wanted that package after I was charged for the package and checked in. I will never stay at another country inn & Suites ever again!!!!
I stayed at this location for two weeks and had the pleasure of receiving world class customer service from Ms. Blake Khush. Due to administration errors my room wasnt booked properly. Ms. Khush did an exceptional job by accommodating me and in the end I was able to stay the entire two weeks. The washer and dryer did not work well, the dryers on all floors were unable to dry a small load on one cycle ($2.25).
I stay at Country inn & Suites several times a month. This one..... never again. The young lady last night was super. An that’s where it ends. The front desk lady Sunday morning was rude and lazy. Mentioned to her that the coffee pot was empty. And 30 min later was still empty. One of the house keepers I asked finally to care of it.Keep driving to another country inn or stay somewhere else.
My bed had things in it not sure if dead bugs or whatever it was went to desk no housekeeping I got new sheets.. the mattress cover was full of bumps in it looked like word out.. I took it off . I should have insisted on a other room .... or should have been offered another room...
Got a suite because Im in town for work and brought my wife and daughters and I wanted some extra room for them during the day while I work. Room was nice and clean. They let me check in at noon instead of making me wait till three. The kids loved the popcorn machine in the lobby and the cookies they make there too. The pool was the real selling point for the kids. There is a mellow mushroom in the parking lot also. Staff was super nice and helpful. If my family ever comes back with me to Albany this is likely where we will be staying.
The staff is rude no privacy, one of the house keeper walk in my room with no permission. And when I ask her about it she had a attitude. Went down stairs to tell the front desk and the manger dont ever say anything. I paid over two hundred to be desrespected, violated and mad. I hate country inn and suites. Where u might have to fight the housekeeping! No 🌟 stars
The rooms are unknown as of now. Turn around of staff means with unbearable management staff or pay pushing pricing making employees search for other employment without the desire to return if no notice given. The staff are friendly and respectful to guest privacy. Having a service that transports some of their employees, guest conversations never come out. Client confidentiality is priority. This should be understood. Maybe a employee appreciation day once a month with a simple dependable local business. #LesGoService
We payed 135.00 plus 100.00 deposit for a suit and only to sleep in a box... there was no tv in the sleeping area and the sitting area the tv could never catch signal the spa was not working and she didn’t know how to work the sauna I really felt like me and my family paid for a box or anyone in the Albany/Leesburg area do not purchase room 312... all they said was I’m sorry 🙄 yeah me too. I will never ever purchase from here again
This hotel was everything. I mean EVERYTHING, dirty pool My spouse cleaned, the cookies were hard, and the tv sucked. Plus I found it too be quite rude to slide our receipt under the door at 2am. The kept knocking on the freaking door at 10 that morning to remind us about check out time. Yes this hotel was everything I aint looking for! So sad pathetic!
The Jacuzzi Suite is over rated here it isnt worth the price that you have to pay.The key password to my room didnt work had a hard time getting back into my room when I went out.The laundry service wasnt worth the pay they only had one washer and one dryer the dryer didnt even dry my clothes I had to take them to a Laundry House(Flip & Fold) to dry my clothes the beds was too hard you have to ask for more coffee items thats when someone ever comes to the desk. The cleaning staff holding personal and inappropriate conversations in there phone on SPEAKER...it was a problem from the start I was emailed a confirmation number and called to confirm and the Manager said that wasnt no confirmation for me then she resent me one with the price higher and changed and I asked her why was it two different prices with my other King room my prices where the same she said she didnt know I even sent her the email that was sent to me never heard back from her.I checked in and asked had she received it she stated that she havent checked that day but probably not and she checked it was there I knew it was I sent it the day before.Still no change to my room just slong my paper on the counter and said sign this here is your keys still not mentioning the change of price.I wont spend my hard earned money at this particular Hotel again.
My family and I stayed at this location in Albany Ga nearly 2 weeks ago and had a terrible experience. I’ve read reviews over the years about various hotels and somewhat believed part of the reviews. However, in my case it’s true. The initial room was nasty. The desk clerk escorted my family and I to two additional rooms before we located a room suitable to sleep in overnight. Guess what? There were ants trolling the room. I informed the desk clerk and he indicated ants were a known issue and they were expecting an exterminator in the near future (?) to come and treat the hotel. The next morning I decided to eat breakfast. Wow the ants beat me to the breakfast bar. I took an actual video of the ants trolling the bar. The staff appeared to be amused to this fact. Needless to say I went the get breakfast from a nearby restaurant for my family. For the inconvenience the desk clerk offered $10 not $100. Yes $10 off the bill. Ridiculous!!!!He provide me with the GM (Jaye Lomax) numbers. I called both numbers several times and left several messages over the pass nearly 2 WEEKS, not days. No return call. This is a case of buyers be ware. This is the level of Customer Service I received and you may see the same! Just sharing only the facts!!! Neeeever again will I consider a Radisson Hotel based on the level of service received. SMH!
First, to the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.By looking at your mission statement, I can understand your lack of interest in how your franchised hotels are ran.As I travel as part of my employment, I experience many on the road inconveniences, and except those experiences, as the cost of doing business. But, when I take my family for a quick get away and pay $100/night (taxes included), I do not expect to see water stains and patched holes in the sheet rock of the bath and closet (Rm 140). Loose and leaking faucet fixtures (Rm 241). Stained and ripped furniture, not to mention, the damp mildewy smell (Rm 338). Outdated furniture and furnishings through out your hotel.A night stand that hadnt be cleaned in so long, the back of the Bible was stuck in the drawer. When I asked about the cookies that were supposed to greet patrons at the door. I was told the oven was broken and it would be fixed the following day. A little more up roar and the freshly baked cookies were at my door within 2 hours of checking in.The following day I went down to take my little girl to the indoor pool and had to ask the staff for a net to clean the pool myself before she got in.For the money, $65 a/night, (online), the Econo lodge on Dawsonville Rd, is well worth the money when the pool is clean. Rooms are contemporary.I would not have stayed at this hotel, if not for Albany States Housing overflow.
Today is 02/01/2018, at 11pm.As i have been staying in the musky smelling room 231 all week it felt rather gross . As tonight proved that this hotel is a disgusting as it gets, i felt something crawling on me.A Bed Bug i have been sleeping in this room for the past three nights. And i have been sleeping with bed bugs.I left all my clothes luggage check out that same night, went to Walmart to purchase all new outfitto travel home , and checked into another hotel. And to top it off the breakfast is horrible, no water no juice food is stale tasting.
If I could give no stars I would. My family used this ad their hotel for a family reunion and it has been the WORST experience ever. This hotel authorized the full room rate without permission on peoples credit cards although we had a contract feom a yr ago that said NOTHING of the sort. One family members room was infested with roaches and had to be fumigated and 3 others had bed bugs! We are filing complaints and pictures with the BBB and health department. Whatever u do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!
The most disgusting Country Inn & Suites I have ever stayed at. Tried multiple rooms throughout the building. Had no choice but to stay because of everywhere else being booked. The carpet was stained everywhere, the couche and chair in the room were also stained. The desk had a spill that was never cleaned. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
I booked TWO rooms on the actual hotel website. I even received an email confirmation showing my reservation of TWO rooms. Upon arriving, we were told there was only one room!!?? When I asked how this is possible since I had printed out my reservation, I was told “we only had one room in our system.” I was also told, next time I needed to call the hotel directly to make reservations and not to book online. I still don’t understand how this can happen!! Not going back there again!!
I would give zero or negative stars if possible. Reserved a 2 night stay....got there really late so once checked, went right to bed. Woke up in the middle of he night and saw roaches! Inspected the room in the a.m. and it was REALLY filthy! Reserved a room at another hotel and checked out asap! Reported the room to manager (Tabitha) she thought the room was fine and offered no adjustments to our one night stay. Moving to another hotel caused me to miss some of the robotics competition! Also...the bed was lumpy...Needless to say...DONT STAY HERE!
I could totally live here if I had too. I had a suite for 94 bucks a night and it had a living room and everything and the staff are very polite. To me the best thing was the free breakfast which was very well done. The location is also awesome there is a movie theater next door and several good chain restaurants including a 24 hour Waffle House and IHOP within a mile.
My stay at Country Inn & Suites was very comforting and home-like. The service provided was immaculate, the comfort of the beds and rooms were extremely pleasing and they actually had the pool open until midnight along with the sauna. Next time I travel I will be asking or searching for an available Country Inn & Suites.
Now I know why the hotel has such bad reviews- room was not what I had reserved - bed was not made- no comforter or blanket on bed- then had to justify why I needed blanket to front desk - the handicap shower( which it was not supposed to be) - the Tilework is some of the worst craftsmanship or lack thereof Ive ever seen . Add on to that the mold and mildew- with the lack of linen- they get s big FI would leave and check out but difficult to find another room at last minute. But I will not stay here again.
I arrived to the rood and the sheets were dirty. I called the front desk and was told I would have to change the sheets myself. Moments after changing the sheets... bugs starts popping up on the bed. We canceled and are unaware of when we will receive a refund. I have pictures...
BEDBUGS IN PULLOUT COUCH!!!! Microwave started smoking and went out when I used it. Toilet constantly run after u flush it. Tub drain slow. Informed front desk about microwave because I had small kids in the room that had to eat and maintenance never came. I called bck and informed front desk that I had a horrible stay and asked to speak with the manager. I have not received a call back yet. I WILL NEVER RETURN. 👿👿
😬😬😬😬THE HOTEL REALLY WASENT IN THE BEST SHAPE THE LUGGAGE CARTS BARELY WORK WHEN WE GOT TO OUR ROOM WE NOTICED STAINS ON THE COUCH,HOLE IN THE WALL,SCATCHES ON THE FLOOR, NIGHTSTAND WILL NOT CLOSE IF YOU PUT STUFF IN IT,AND WORSE OF ALL A CRACKED WINDOW🏚😬. THE ROOM IS OK IF YOU CAN LOOK PASS THAT BUT THE WALLS ARE THIN WHERE YOU CAN HEAR NEXT DOOR CONVERSION AND IM PRETTY SURE WE ARE MISSING A TV IN THE LIVING ROOM I STAYED AT A COUNTRY INN BEFORE AND IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THIS ONE (PICTURES BELOW)ON THE OTHER HAND THE BED WAS CONFORMABLE AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, THE SHOWERS ARE OK WATER PRESSURE COULD BE BETTER. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE DO NOT DISTURB ON THE DOOR BECAUSE ROOM SERVICE CAME KNOCKING ON THE DOOR AND OPENED THE DOOR GOOD THING I HAD THE DOOR STOPPER ON THE DOOR😬😬
Please do not use this hotel service for business or personal reasons!!! their manager Alec just sent me a harassing email after I answered a survey about my stay. I Just contacted the authorities due to the email!! The authorities told me to respond by saying to stop harassing me!! Wow customer service today is sooo sad! Nothing works!! If you think you will be able to get any type of work done think again!!! There’s no WiFi and the breakfast is horrible!!!
The location is within walking distance of several food locations, shopping, and a movie theater. Room was clean for the most part except for a few stains on the lounge chair. The room smelled like faint cinnamon that you get used to after a minute or so. Breakfast could have been a bit better the first morning.
Absolutely worse customer service I ever seen. The receptionist Sarah Foster and the general manager was so unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I will be calling corporate in the morning. Another lady came down and had to go spray her room for roaches. Never will I go here again
Convenient location, comfy room except for the pink AND black mold in and around the tub! When we mentioned the mold at the front desk the young lady told us the pink mold was from a prior guest dyeing her hair red and the black mold was from her mascara after having a fight with her boyfriend causing the pink and black mold in and around the tub!!! Ridiculous!!!!
Poor customer service poor communication skills crazy cause if there was an issue why was i not consulted until after the money had been taken out of my account then we so called resolved the issue just for them to later come back & try to put my lady out the room while I’m gone not notifying anybody they did a refund or anything you tell them the truth they still gone say you lying my good earned money won’t ever get them never again that’s a promise
The service was great and the staffs was wonderful compare to other places I stayed in Georgia and a very nice view of that community and I want to give a recommendation to a lovely staff they have there and her name is brandi I hope Im saying her name right and another staff there name branden they where very nice and helpful and yes the next time Im in that part of town I will be staying in the country inn. Thank you!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! MONEY WAS TAKING OUT OF MY ROOM AND MANAGEMENT REFUSE TO SPEAK TO ME ABOUT IT. I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED AND ALSO AGAIN NOT A PEEP FROM MANAGEMENT. IM GOIN BACK UP THERE TODAY TO FILE A POLICE REPORT. I WOULD LITERALLY SLEEP IN MY VEHICLE BEFORE I EVER STAYED THERE AGAIN!!!

2022-05-15This establishment missed the mark. I expected more from the chain...but was highly disappointed. The tub was rusty, the towels were dirty & very limited, and person with my party had roaches in her room. The washer on the second floor didnt work & the young lady working the front desk wasnt very helpful. We were in town for the state track meet & spent over $2,000 for rooms & subpar service. Upon reserving the room months ago, we had 7 suites & 9 doubles. After speaking with several associates I finally confirmed I only needed 7 suites & 7 doubles. When I called back in an hour to get an invoice... magically there are now only 4 suites & I had to get 9 doubles. The breakfast was decent but didnt have any fresh fruit on the bar. The pool was empty & none of the vending machines worked. Quality was poor from start to finish but the staff was really nice.

2022-06-02The room was in disrepair and was incredibly dirty upon check in. There was dirt and hair on the floors and the sheets were stained. The caulk in the bathroom was molded and paint was falling off the walls. The hotel interior was incredibly muggy even with the Air conditioning on full. The bathroom vent fan was non functional leading to more mugginess when you would shower. Staff was incredibly rude to my wife when she asked for new towels. Overall would not stay here again.

2022-01-28Clean and the rooms are so big! There is a living area and bedroom with a door to separate. Its like a small apartment... Minus the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is the room never really got warm no matter how high we turned the temp. It was cold at 75 so I turned it to 79 when I went to sleep. I still needed a sweater when I woke up.

2022-01-18This was by far the worst hotel stay Ive ever had. I travel for work quite often and have not had any sleep because you can feel the springs in the mattress. Room at best was semi clean, the mirror in the bathroom has suction cup circles on it, there is no where to sit in a king size spa tub room other then a desk chair. Will not be back.

2022-06-13I have stayed here 3 times and this was my last because it was the worst. People were smoking pot in the hotel and kids running up and down the hall way after 10 PM, the ice machine on the 3rd floor was broke and had been for over a year, the pool and hot tub were being painted but the staff did not know when they would be filling it back up. That was one of the main reasons I wanted to stay here so I will never stay here again.

2022-03-12This is the noisiest hotel. My husband is a travel nurse and he works nights so he is a day sleeper. The housekeeping staff is very noisy and inconsiderate! I called the front desk to see if we could be moved to another room and they said that it was not an option. She said that she would ask the staff to lower their voice. That must’ve made them mad because they got louder! I heard an older woman cussing and yelling about some sheets. She then got on the phone to make a personal call and I heard her entire conversation. This is absurd!Besides the inconsiderate, cussing, loud employees, this hotel is subpar. It is using COVID as an excuse to provide as little as possible. The pool and fitness center was closed and although they advertise a that the breakfast is included in the price, they give you a grab and go bag with a muffin, chips, a granola bar and water! Those things are not as irritating as having to stay somewhere where the staff has no regard for the guests. They are so unprofessional and rude! I will make sure that I will tell nurses to never stay in this hotel if they value sleep, rest and quiet enjoyment!

2022-01-03Positive: The breakfast was good & the beds were comfortable. Negative: The pool was closed and empty but not mentioned upon check-in or on the website & we drove out of our way to find a pool that was indoors for our kids. The housekeeping staff was rude and knocked or tried to enter our room 3 times on an overnight stay.

2022-05-24My experience was horrible and I contacted the main number to file a complaint and am still waiting on a call back over a week later.I arrived over an hour and half after check in. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. We waited what seemed like close to 10 minutes before someone came. By the time the representative came there was a line of maybe 4 other parties waiting to check in. The representative had an attitude like we were disturbing her. After she checked us in, she told us our room may not be ready because house cleaning was still cleaning. We went up to our room and sure enough the whole floor had doors open with all the rooms a mess. This was like maybe 4:45. We left- I contacted the main number and made a complaint. They offered me a $10 discount for the inconvenience- which I was not satisfied with. They explained to me I would get the $10 discount and that the manager of this location would contact me within 4 business days. I was in town for a work event so went straight to the event. We arrived back to the hotel around 3 in the morning. When we got to our room, our room was still a mess, was not cleaned and my husband had to go downstairs to the front desk and we were given a different room. When we checked out in the morning, the $10 discount was not applied, and I called the main number again to complain. They told me the complaint was added to the original complaint and assured me I would be contacted by a manager within 3-4 business days. Horrible experience and the elevator floor had cardboard duct taped to the floor.

2022-03-09Let start off by saying that this is NOT at all what we have experienced at other hotels within this same chain....This hotel was disgusting! We checked in and the young lady at the front desk was great. Very friendly and welcoming even though it was a very busy Friday night. Get up to our room and go to unpack our cold food and drinks into the fridge only to discover that our fridge is completely iced over yet warm inside. Called down to the front desk to ask about the chance of swapping it out only to be informed that the girl at the front was the ONLY employee in the building! On a busy Friday night and what we were told was a sold-out weekend? Said she would send maintenance in the morning, but nothing could be done that night. We werent happy but settled for it anyway. Then we started turning on lights and looking around the room. IT WAS HORRIBLE!! There was very visible MOLD on the ceiling near our air vent. The furniture was out-dated, scuffed, and had somewhat of a dirty look to it. There was what appeared to be dried food in several different spots on the walls. If all of that wasnt enough, when the bathroom light was turned on, there was a smashed ROACH on the floor. I am still not sure if it is worse that there were obviously bugs in the room or that someone smashed the roach and then couldnt be bothered to clean up the dead bug. The tub was not clean and the shower head was covered in soap scum.Additionally, part of our reason for choosing this hotel was the indoor pool, however, the pool was closed. When we inquired about the pool, we were informed that the owner had chosen not to re-open it since the pandemic started. That information should be given in advance as the pool is still pictured in several spots when you view the hotel for booking.Needless to say, our stay ended very quickly and we were given a full refund (confirmation of the refund is pictured in case you were wondering if this were true).Wanted to edit since there has been a response from the owner....WE DID NOT STAY FOR FREE because we did not stay at all! We were in our room for less than 30 minutes before leaving. With the condition our room was in, we would have left with or without the refund!

2022-04-02Reserved a king suite with sofa bed over a week in advance for 3 coming in town for a funeral. Desk service was good and quick but got to the room and it was wrong. Was a king with a whirlpool. So couldnt sleep 3. Asked for the correct room but they were full. Had to cancel and find somewhere else on a busy weekend. Disappointing.
