To start, we were upgraded for a suite with a separate bedroom when we arrived. This worked our great for us since we traveled with two young children. The room was clean, large, ac worked great. The mini fridge wasnt as deep as im used to, but we made do with what we had! It was with-in walking distance to the Braves stadium, something we plan to take advantage of on our next visit to the area! The pool area was well maintained, and the towles stocked. Oh, and the breakfast was great. Every morning it was a little different, so we enjoyed having the variety. We throughly enjoyed our stay and the comfortable beds, and we plan on using this hotel again!
After arriving at 8:02pm and telling 7, teenagers the pool times changed from 6am-8pm, I arrived at 6:20am the next morning to be told it would be another 25-30min before it would be ready from the cleaning crew. I am always one to leave positive reviews, but not this time Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.
Whatever you do don’t use the private shuttle to Truist Park, it is an absolute scam and I ended up having to Uber back to the hotel anyway Bc they gave us the wrong information about pick-up. I am an Active Duty US Navy Hospital Corpsman that was just trying to take my girlfriend to a game and I got absolutely scammed by the charlatan Victor Brunson’s private shuttle service, they gave us the wrong information about pickup after charging us cash round-trip ahead of time and then telling us we were given the wrong information by their driver with no attempt to refund us. I saw more legitimate services from shady taxi services in Qatar on my recent deployment to a refugee camp than these shameless scam artists and the hotel should be ashamed to distribute their business card. Whatever you do, do not stay here expecting a reliable shuttle service to Truist Park, only a scam artist that lies to veterans and racketeers with the front desk of the hotel. I will never again stay here or use their services for any reason, and if you have ever sacrificed for this country or respected anyone who did, neither should you.
This was a clean and decent hotel. It was spacious. They included breakfast. There are a few food places close by and convenient stores and a target close by. They provide you with a list of local places to get food from as well. I will say I have to repeat this same advice for many hotels....clean the coffee maker. Ours was dusty and sticky and had water already sitting in it with the top open. Theres no way I would drink coffee out of that. The staff was nice. It was quite.
My family and I enjoyed our entire stay. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was sure to remind visitors to wear their mask. The pool was a little cold but tolerable. The hot tub was on point! We witnessed one of the employees “scrubbing” (hands and knees) the hot tub cleaning it before the next day use. Will return! recommend!
Front desk receptionist was extremely friendly upon arrival. Had trouble finding my reservation at first but she worked to find it and did.Room was spotless upon arrival. Bed was clean, desk, bathroom, shower, etc. Complementary breakfast was Great and the workers were also very kind and friendly.Definitely made my stay in ATL enjoyable. Will definitely considering booking with them my next trip down.
My children and I recently stayed 5 nights here. Not only was the hotel clean and convenient to everything Atlanta has to offer while having the suburb feel, the staff is TOP NOTCH! We were rear ended on the way so needless to say I was distraught when we arrived. The lady working the check-in desk (I didn’t catch her name) contacted the manager, Dwayne and with the help of some other employees (Nick and Daniel) they helped with cleaning up glass, unloading my luggage, placed plastic over my broken back window, and bolted my back bumper in place so I could make the 7 hour trip back home versus having to tow. Every staff member throughout our entire stay were amazing, always smiling and asking us how our stay was going. The indoor pool was really nice as well and they serve the best continental free breakfast I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Highly recommend!
The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The hotel was very clean. We were impressed that a plastic bag covered the TV remote as we have always brought our own in the past but didnt have to do that at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Real grits and oatmeal. Fresh hot waffles, fresh fruit. Lots of room to eat as well.
We were here for one night for a funeral for a dear family member. The front desk lady was very sympathetic and accommodating making sure my family got to stay on the same floor. (My father actually stayed here a few nights) The rooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned (we found what looked like a fairly large vape pen between the bed and nightstand), but didnt look dirty by any means - clean sheets and comfy beds. Also, the rooms were quite large. The breakfast was great - waffles, grits, cereal, oatmeal (with brown sugar and raisins if you want), fruit containers, yogurt, eggs, bacon, French toast sticks, individually wrapped muffins, sliced bread, milk, juice, coffee - and the breakfast helper was super nice and when she saw us trying to clean up my sons big milk spill, she ran to get a towel and told us to please not worry about it. I will definitely stay here when visiting again, hopefully under happier circumstances.
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. The wood furniture is old and worn out but other than that the rooms looked great. I appreciated the plastic bag on the remote! We slept late and didnt get to try the breakfast. :( onky .8 mile walk to the stadium.. We will be back!
Not a bad place all together. Staff is friendly and the main hotels was clean. However, our room was dirty and old though. I made my kids wear shoes on the carpet cause of stains and food crumbs. The main reason I chose this place was because of the pool. It was the only hotel I could find with an open pool. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and clean and towels were provided. Locarion was great, close to ATL and restaurants. So it served its purpose
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very easy to find and close to plenty of restaurants and stores. The first impression of the grounds was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool was opened which was a nice surprise and it was very well maintained. There is a small store with snacks and drinks at the front desk which was appreciated for a late night snack. They served a great breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Even on Sunday the maintenance and housekeeping staff was hard at work doing great work. The desk clerk was just plain old fashioned sweet as could be. In addition she was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and did i mention sweet? The room was very very clean and everything worked.A very thoughtful touch was a little bottle of hand sanitizer along with the usual soaps, etc.Every part of this property was clean and neat and functioned properly during my stay.I will advise all of my family and friends to stay there.
I arrived to check in...kids and baggage in tow with no room available (holiday weekend) and out of the hundreds of dollars that was deducted from the third party site for the reservation. I booked using the third party site and apparently the reservation was never confirmed with the hotel. However, I was taken care of by the most gracious, kind, sweet front desk host ever!! Mrs. Gigi really, really went above and beyond to rectify the situation and provided my children and I a room. I am so thankful for Mrs. Gigi!!!
Front Desk Agent Terry was exceptional! After driving almost 3 hours to the airport my flight was canceled. No flights available! Booked hotel room via Priceline (total disgrace). Terry was able to get my mom and I a nice clean room. I applaud him for his professionalism and customs service skills.
Location? Awesome. GiGi at the front desk was sweet and as patient as a Saint. Loved her!!! But the room was $170.00, with a hole in the wall, a closet door that looked like it was pulled from the dumpster bin at an apartment in the bluffs, water stains in the ceiling and lighting fixture of my room. And I had reservations! They saved THIS type of room for me?! I was offended. Never EVER again will I come back. First and last.
My kids and I love coming here!! I try to bring them twice a month to swim. Although I miss the pool closing at midnight, its understanding. The staff are always pleasant and helpful! The breakfast is delicious! Both bathrooms and rooms were clean and fresh as always. Im pretty sure I have already left a review but this time was so refreshing. I was able to go to the pool early this morning while the kids was still sleeping. I took my speaker and listened to some smooth jazz and did a few laps. Only if I could afford to come everyday just for that feeling alone!!! See ya soon!
This is no five star hotel but it was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It’s hard to fully enjoy a hotel experience during covid but we made the best of it. It was too crowded for me maybe because of spring break and felt a bit not one the refine side. I don’t know where the airport was but if you are a light sleeper, don’t go here. The planes were often and loud. I think after 10 pm there weren’t any flights coming in because it was all day long. Breakfast was mediocre. Not like it was delicious and I just wanted more. We were only there two days and that was too long for me.
We had to be in Atlanta for my daughter to have major surgery. Our stress level was very high. The entire staff at the hotel were so kind and caring toward us. Upon our arrival (early) they presented us with a card signed by everyone and a special note with well wishes for my daughters surgery. They were so patient with me as I had to extend my reservation unexpectedly after complications with surgery. The final day was just as stressful as the day of surgery. I never knew from one minute to the next if we would be staying or leaving Atlanta. I actually changed my reservation about 4 times that morning. I was so upset that I was just in tears. The poor girl at the front desk who had to keep making my changes was so incredibly patient with me. Every time I called or went to the desk to change it (yet again), she showed patience and kindness toward me. I cant express how much this all meant to me and to my daughter. I highly recommend this hotel. They went above and beyond. Thank you so much for treating me so kindly. I appreciate it more than words can express.
The rooms are a bit dated. My sheets had stains on them and when we asked for new ones. We waited for over an hr. Then security brought the sheets up and asked were smoking in the room. We told him no and showed him we had essence lit, i need them for my anxiety. The security man then went downstairs and told the front desk he thought he saw smoke in our room. At 1a.m the lady called our room to ask abt smoking and I explained the same thing to her. I wake up and check out this morning to find several transactions on my card. Several for $200 and 2 of them for $150 😠 Never again will we stay here!
I stayed there this past weekend as a getaway from the house since Covid. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in!! The lobby was very clean and comfortable I got to my room absolutely amazing! You can tell they really took there time to make sure the rooms was clean to perfection. The breakfast was great! I will definitely be back soon!! O and mask was mandatory
Positive: The staff was great. The exterior and common area very nice. Negative: the room was definitely not 4 star. The bathroom counter had water spots and toothpaste smears. The iron had a broken control lever. Now the bed¿when you enter and the bed looks lumpy, sit on it and it sank like to the floor. Noisy area neighbor Days
They only had 1 bath towel in the bathroom. I called the front desk 3 times and no one ever answered. My husband went down to the lobby and asked for more towels. About 30 minutes later they brought towels and said they had to deliver to 3 other rooms as well. My daughter was in another room and requested towels also. She never received them. She called this morning and was told housekeeping doesnt come in until 9. We wont stay here again.
This place was excellent. They were ready for me and gave a gift bag to us! The front desk was very helpful and gave us a paper of places to eat and places that delivered. The room was really nice. Two full bathrooms is really nice when you have a family. The carpet was a little musty/mildewy but it was bearable. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Just what we needed for the kids to burn off some energy after a full day of driving.Overall, this place is deserved of its 5 star rating. We will definitely stay there again. One quick side note, its very close ro the new Braves stadium.
Wish the rooms were updated a bit. Mattress too soft, seemed old and very used. Bathroom didnt seem clean enough. Could tell they dont scrub tubs (had hair in it) and some hair on bathroom floors as well. Continental breakfast was typical per every hotel. Coffee was extremely weak. Hot tub and pool was nice although when leaving saw that the walls looked like it had mold around the trimming and closed at midnight. Wish they had 24hr open hours for adults only. Too many kids staying late where we couldnt really enjoy it. Staff was nice.
Check in was a breeze, GiGi at the front desk was so helpful and kind to us. Taking care to advise us on places to order from. Our room was spotless, actually the whole place was exceptionally clean. Bonus is that they offer breakfast and their pool is open, even through the COVID crisis. Great place to stay overall!
Great location. This is a little older hotel, but they keep it really clean and the staff was really nice. I especially liked the General Manager. He was really friendly and interacted with our group several times. Beds were nice and comfy. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The kids liked the pool. Fantastic and convenient location
My favorite hotel in this part of town. It has all the amenities and the people are fabulous. Breakfast spread is plentiful EVEN during covid! Also the pool! Need I say more? All for a reasonable rate, you just cant go wrong. Thanks management and owners! I appreciate getting away from home every now and then. Having this place is like dream home away from home lol. 👍🏻
I really enjoyed out stay here. Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was very nice. There are a variety of cookies offered at the front desk as well. The lobby was very pretty. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only complaint was the AC unit. I think ours might have been on its last leg. It was very loud and didnt cool the room very well, even when I turned it up higher (to a lower temp). It kept the room cool enough though, and we were exhausted from traveling all day so we really didnt have any trouble sleeping. Overall, a nice hotel. Id stay again. I also liked that the check in and out was super simple and when checking in, they gave us a paper with restaurants in the area that delivered. Super helpful when you dont have the energy to go out again!
This is the most dangerous Ive ever felt at a hotel & Ive been to many hotels across the country. People walking around my car staring in the window. People hanging around the outside back door. People hiding in the indoor stairway. This place needs armed guards at every entrance. I left the place 15 minutes after I arrived. I did not tell anyone I was leaving as I thought they might have someone follow me. I didnt ask for a refund either as someone might do something to me and wife. I was in frightened for our physical safety. And I was born and raised in Chicago
Its ok. However, it could be cleaner. The rooms and hallways look a mess. Breakfast is ok..its nothing spectacular but it is decent enough and a great bonus. I dont like how people hangout outside at night and are super loud right outside guest windows. The windows are old and sound carries easily into the room.
The room was clean and fairly comfortable but the comcast for the TV went out multiple times for extended periods each day of our stay. Our hallway smelled heavily of pot the first day, which we reported twice to the desk. Later our room was filled heavily with the smell only to look out our window to see a guest smoking up outside our window.
When we arrived in the lobby we were greeted by very friendly staff and cookies! The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and refreshing. Breakfast was good and the snacks in the afternoon was a plus. The free shuttle was very helpful, and the driver was fabulous. He was very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay for a Braves game.
It was ok but I will be very quick to say not the best. The cable service was out the next day displaying no signal. There were no garbage liners for the trash cans in the room. On the positive we liked the indoor and outdoor pool options. However, some of the people there were rowdy and playing explicit music in the pool area. Which is not ideal when there are kids around. Would I stay there again? No!
This is a great hotel to stop at if passing through Atlanta and you want to avoid high parking costs and traffic associatedwith staying downtown, but you still have access to restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking is free, there are excellent restaurants just a short drive away. They have a large indoor heated pool. The breakfast is free and OUTSTANDING in terms of variety of options. Rooms are perfectly adequate for the price, which is very reasonable. Will continue to make this Country Inn & Suites our go-to location for Atlanta.
Adequate. If it were based solely on the front desk staff this would have 5 Stars. Excellent staff on check in/out. The staff servicing the breakfast had the personalities of bent bicycle spokes. Food was not well presented and the serving bars were just nasty. The A/C in our room was either not functioning properly or was simply inadequate to keep a room with two exterior walls cool. Cleanliness and presentation of the room itself was very nice save for the piles of dirty linens lining the hallway leading to the room. We checked in about 3PM and would have thought housekeeping would have had this cleaned up. Probably will stay here again ONLY because of the ease of getting to Suntrust Park for Atlanta Braves games. But we will specifically request not to be placed in room 400.
Stayed here one night (10/10)with sister and small nephew. Room was very clean, indoor pool is well-kept. The best part of the hotel is the exceptionally nice staff who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Every employee we encountered asked how our stay was and staff (Sabrina) came by at breakfast to chat and make sure we were enjoying our stay. Breakfast was good and more choices than I expected. Location is close to downtown. Would definitely stay again.
Long check-in lines. Vending was removed to allow for a convenience area but the check out for the convenience store was the same as the check-in line so not worth eating there. Luckily, McDonalds was right next door. Also, there were a couple of roaches in the room. So Gross!
We were very happy with our stay. The breakfast was somewhat more expansive than the typical ones included at hotel stays, and l especially appreciated the warm mixed berry compote which you could have with yogurt. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable, as were the pillows. As always, we enjoyed the coffee that is always on offer here, and the freshly baked cookies available at reception is a nice touch. This is our second time here, and we will definitely return if we come to Atlanta again.
My sister and I stayed here partly for church business while taking time to see the city as well. The hotel is nice - country decor and feel (so it lives up to its name), the room was SUPERBLY CLEAN upon arrival and EVERY DAY of our stay. We commend the housekeeping staff! The manager and front desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful, resourceful and an enjoyable part of our visit. We loved the fresh/free cookies and coffee (and cocoa by request). The location is wonderful and surrounded by stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants with a mall and many great restaurants to chose from nearby, plus it sits right on the entrance to I-95. The shuttle will take you anywhere within a 3-mile radius, which includes the Cumberland mall, numerous restaurants, Sun Trust Park, etc.The free breakfast was hot and included the infamous waffle irons, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, toast/bagels, coffee (which ran out before breakfast was over) and bacon (too well done), a gritty egg-like substance, little sausage bites and on our last day only, REAL scrambled eggs and sausage patties (Monday). This is my only complaint about the hotel - the breakfast hot items could have been better (as they were on Monday), but the hotel had many pros that outweighed the cons, that I did not subtract a star. Otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel and I would stay here again.
I dont know why this hotel is rated highly. I havent stayed in a hotel this bad since I was a struggling college student.First the hotel is severely outdated. I mean BAD. The bed was so lumpy that I could not sleep!!When I arrived I had to change rooms, because there was trash in the first room and God knows what in the toilet.Poor poor customer service..For those with taste, who are not a fan of cheap and unclean things, such a place is not for you. Spend a little more and go to a more deserving hotel.
Staff was very nice and helpful throughout visit. Rooms were clean and tidy with us having no issues at all. Located seconds away from the interstate but not close enough to be bothered by traffic. This was our second time staying in five years and its been great both times.Free breakfast was decent, although they did struggle a tiny bit to keep some of the stuff stocked up, but the wait times werent terrible. All in all we were very pleased.
The rooms are clean and spacious but a little outdated. However, there is a flatscreen television, microwave and small refrigerator. The indoor pool was well kept and properly heated. The jacuzzi looked like it might have needed cleaning. The hotel staff were exceptional and very polite and professional. This is definitely a family friendly hotel.
I haphazardly gave this property 2 stars with no comment. But after management responded with care, I reviewed my recollection of the visit and changed my mind. It was a nice stay. The front desk clerk as I recall was very nice and friendly. Even the breakfast attendant the next morning was bright and cheerful. The noise level was just like I like it, none. The room was comfy and I slept well. Service matters it makes a big difference in my perspective. Im glad i re-reviewed this rating. Thanks for caring. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get a good nights sleep.
Once we got into our room I realized we did not have the pull out couch thats on the reservation. When I called I was told that only exists in suites and if the reservation doesnt say suite the rooms are all taken. They asked if I booked via a third party, I had not, and then said if I put it in the preferences it doesnt guarantee anything. I had not put in the preferences, it just shows on the reservation which is why I paid extra money for a room with an additional bed. They did nothing to help, and I didnt fight too hard because I shouldnt have to. Once I got the bill this morning it was more than the reservation had initially said. Only by $8 but its the principal of it. Breakfast was good. Gigi at the front desk is amazing. I will not being staying here ever again.
This hotel is rated a 3 star which in my opinion is inaccurate. My room smelled moldy and there were stains in the ceiling where water had obviously been leaking. The roll-in shower had rusty spaces and mildew stains in the tile. When I asked to change rooms, there were none available. The housekeeping staff consistently walked by without acknowledging our presence. When I pointed these issues out to Elliott, the manager, he took no notes of my room number or my concerns. Elliot simply thanked me for bringing it to his attention. I have never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites property and I hope this is not a true representation of their brand. This place was extremely substandard!
The front desk staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast bar server was also friendly and worked hard. The physical environment left a lot to be desired. Interior decor was abysmal with especially unattractive carpeting throughout. The building was cavernous and had little to no art work to warm the place. The interior of the elevator was well worn. There is a nice sized swimming pool however it is located at basement level and is at the far end of a very long hall making it isolated and kind of scary. The exercise room was abysmal. The room was clean but tree again lacking in attractive decor and also lacking enough electrical outlets for technology needs.
I enjoyed staying here. It wasnt particularly fancy but it had a nice southern feel and I found my room to be clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is pretty decent and they had a reasonable variety of hot and cold buffet items. They also have a library where you can borrow books which I found pretty cool. The location is great. It is close to major highways and has plenty of parking. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping that you could walk to in 5 minutes if you wanted to. They do offer a free shuttle but I didnt need to use it. Its not as fancy as other hotels I have stayed at but it is clean, the staff is friendly and it was enjoyable. I would come back to stay again.
I did not go into the rooms, I only utilized the meeting facility. The staff was very nice asks accommodating. It was clean however, the areas that I seen (lobby, elevator, and conference room) were very dated. I couldn’t believe the conference chose that hotel. The hotel needs some love. I would think the last renovation was 20-25 years ago. I could be wrong.
Location is convenient. Room was clean and well taken care of over my 9 day stay. The only issue I have is that the shuttle service is a bit hit or miss. You cant schedule anything with it, so having it take you to pick up some food you ordered is out of the question unless your willing to microwave it. Having it take you to the store is just fine, but you may have to wait a bit. The breakfasts are on par with other free breakfasts Ive had. Nothing special but you have choices.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wifi was free and bandwidth was decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a free shuttle that will take you to any place within 3 miles of hotel. Morning free breakfast was standard fare and wasnt bad. The hotel isnt fancy but it has everything you need for business trip.
Great little place to stay for a business or a family trip. Nice heated indoor pool. The hotel is located not far from downtown, stadiums, shopping, etc. Staff are very friendly, like everyone in Atlanta. The rooms are clean, although, most days housekeeping could be as late as 4PM before getting to your room. The rates were decent and coffee in the lobby is always fresh. I’d stay here again for sure!
Stayed here after a concert at the Roxy. Decent hotel for an affordable price. It was a very cold night but the central heat in the hotel was too much and a chair in the room was broken. Overall it was a decent place to stay if youre over near the Battery Atlanta it is very convenient. Staff was nice.
This place was quite the mixed bag. Staff were very polite, and our overall experience was great, but there were a few things preventing me from giving a 5* review:As others have mentioned, the pool is in an awkward place on the far end of a wing of the first floor next to occupied rooms. My family had to take cold showers because the water wouldnt heat up, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom made some awful vibration sounds. The bathroom was also write difficult to navigate given the close proximity of the TINY door, toilet, and shower. On the bright side, our room was roomy and comfortable, fresh cookies at the check in desk, and breakfast was pretty great!
Wonderful service at the front desk. My daughter loved the free cookies at the front desk. Room was very clean. Carpet was clean with no stains. Indoor pool and hot tub was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family. Beds were very comfortable. Nice and quiet location. Breakfast was typical but I do appreciate having real dishes and silverware as opposed to giving styrofoam dishes and plastic cutlery. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at this place if youre anywhere within 30 miles. Price was also very competitive. I cant say enough good things.
First off let me tell you why I liked it, the hot tub has powerful jets, the saltwater pool was nice and front desk was cordial. Thats where it all goes down hill. The hotel smells like maybe cleaning chemicals. Once you get into the room, the mini fridge had such an odor (I dont know what it was from cause it was wiped out) that you gag. The bathroom is small, and our a.c. unit did NOT cool the room down (even after we cleaned all the dust off). Only 1 side of our bed had an outlet (I guess that doesnt matter for some people). We are awaiting a phone call from a manager.
The rooms are a little small but appears to have been renovated. There are no signs to keep your room from being cleaned or safes. My coffee pot wasnt clean but I dont drink coffee so Im not worried about that. They have a decent breakfast and in the evenings they have beer and snacks. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Absolutely loved this hotel! They were very accommodating, the breakfast and cookies were absolutely delicious! The staff was very kind and they were fast to get anything that was needed. If we ever come back to Georgia we will definitely be staying here again and I would recommend it to anyone wanting an enjoyable stay.
We didnt get a chance to take advantage of any amenities or breakfast, but I loved our room! It was huge - lots of room for my family of three. We were happy to see USB ports and extra outlets to charge our devices. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We were only there to sleep for seven hours, but Im very happy with our stay.
Had no problems with the rooms, the amenities which is why we stayed there and paid more money were awful. First off waited till 10 pm to go in pool since most kids are in bed then, it had about 10 kids in pool and hot tub area, no adults, so we left. Went down for breakfast at 9 and it was crowded and they ran out of food, never put out anymore after 915, what a joke. Again hotel was nice but wont stay again for that price with no amenties used. I did tell checkout person all this, they apologized but nothing else. Have a good day.
Location was very close to SunTrust Park for the Braves game which was nice. They only have two ice machines and at the time the one on my level was out of ice. The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was a bit small and the shower drain was a little slow. Staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast was really good. Considering it was our vacation I would definitely stop back, a person does not stay in the hotel the whole time during your vacation. It would have been nice if the hotel would have had a restaurant and lounge.
Great customer service. Provided us with information about all the essentials in the hotel, left me with pretty much no questions when I checked in. Complimentary breakfast and WiFi as well as evening drinks/snacks. The rooms were amazing, very spacious and well furnished.
Great Stay for one night. They got me a room for me and my daughter even though they were booked up solid. I had a terrible experience with the Motel 6 across the street from them and Sam the the Front Desk Manager really helped me out. Planning on staying there much more in the future. Great employees, Excellent Customer service, Very clean rooms, free hot breakfast and nice swimming pool!!! Thanks again Sam!!!
For a night, it was ok. Definitely better than staying somewhere that I’d get bed bugs. The bed however was terrible. I contemplated and it was the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. They also advertise breakfast until 930 but they packed it up by 910. We weren’t the only people irritated by that. Other than the counters in our room being super low to the ground (I’m 5’9) everything else was fine I suppose. So stay here if it’s a good deal but otherwise I wouldn’t come again.
Room was clean but was showing some age. Staff was very nice and helpful with questions. Couple in front of me loved the pillows and the lady working the desk gave them the information to Housekeeping manager to speak with him for brand and where to buy. Would have been very easy to just say I dont know
The hotel room was large and clean. The main thing for me was the smell in the room it had a musky smell. The breakfast was good but I do wish it would have had gravy for the biscuits but everything I ate was really good. The distance from the Atlana Braves was longer than was stated on their website but they had a van to take you to the game and we walked back to the hotel. It wasnt a game changer on the distance but I like to know ahead of time. But I would give it one more chance on the room but If I go again I would probably note the problem that we had before.
I was very impressed with the hotel. This was as nice as the pictures. The staff was very friendly and polite, always had smiles. Breakfast was delicious!!! Pool was heated, rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. I recommend staying here. I was traveling with my kids and they enjoyed it as well.
Stayed overnight on the way home from a family vacation. Got a good rate and the desk attendant said she upgraded us to a suite - great since the two kids didnt have to share a bed. Nice rooms, good elevators, friendly staff. Didnt have time to use the pool, hot tub or fitness center (but they were open till midnight if I had wanted to). Breakfast was standard hotel fare for this class. Only issue was getting in and out with all the construction in the area due to the new stadium being built a few hundred yards Susan the road. Probably will be too busy and crowded for our tastes once the stadium opens.
Location was good and convenient to highways, only about 15-20 minutes from the main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and clean. The carpet and chair in the room appeared newer, but the wood furniture was pretty dinged up. There was a sign in the lobby that said they were under renovations so our room may not have been completed yet. The pool was a good size and open until mid-night which we appreciated because there were too many children in the pool as late as 10:00 PM to actually swim.Info sheet that they gave us said all rooms were non-smoking but we smelled a lot of smoke on the 1st floor when walking by guest rooms on our way to the pool and fitness areas. We did not have an issue with smoke on out floor (5th).We did not get to try out the breakfast, as they stop serving at 9:30 and we are late night people so werent up and ready on time- wish they served until at least 10-. There was also a reception early evening, but we did not get a chance to do that either as we were still out and about from 5-6:30 when it was going on.There is major construction going on across the street from the hotel...so not a great view, but the noise was minimal. Cant beat the price and free parking is a huge bonus in a big city!
First time EVER at a Country Inn. I hardly ever write reviews on places unless theyre spectacular or horrible. This one deserves my time bc I was very impressed and hope itll help someone make a decision about where to stay. My family and I stayed one night at the hotel. It was an excellent stay. Our room was very clean, updated, friendly staff, great breakfast, and very quiet atmosphere. Within walking distance to Sun Trust Park, but they offer a shuttle to carry you to the stadium. Several convenience stores and food options close, as well. +Free cookies at the receptionist desk are always a plus! ;)
The complimentary breakfast buffet was the best Ive ever had with many more options than other hotels, and serviced by super friendly staff. The housekeeping department is especially awesome and willing to meet every request as long as its before 3pm. I highly recommend staying here if you have business anywhere near the Braves stadium, or anywhere in Atlanta as it is right at 75 and 285 and easy to get everywhere. Its reasonably priced and decently clean with an indoor pool and fitness center.
Good for kids, good breakfast selection, housekeeping very nice and willing to help, morning and check in staff nice and smiling. A lady in the afternoon/night a bit of an attitude. Close to everything food/shops/movie and mall. Right off the interstate(you can’t hear traffic) Hotel is clean nice indoor pool. Hot tub is a little questionable. Beds were comfortable rooms are nice and updated. Bathroom clean. No trash bags though. Extra towels upon request. And it’s really quiet, you can’t hear people in your rooms. All and all I would definitely stay again well worth the money. Everything is within a few minutes of the hotel. You can see the baseball stadium from the hotel. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A and many restaurants right by. Lots of delivery options.
Way more dated that the photos would lead you to believe. However, I had a complicated set of circumstances for my room that required three separate reservations, but for the same room and the front desk handled it extremely well! Breakfast is good and open for a large amount of time compared to what feels like a 4:30-4:45am window. WiFi is decent and so are the TV channel selection. I would stay here again.
Very clean hotel. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I was on the couch bed, and as far as couch beds go it wasnt too bad. My only frustration was that if you want to ride the shuttle from the hotel to the ballpark, you need to be there 2 hours early. Nobody notified us of this, the website did not mention anything about it. We had to walk in the rain because of this. Otherwise, very good experience.
I was forced to get a room here during the 2013 snow storm that shut down the city. The staff was overworked and overstretched, and yet they were incredibly nice. They helped everyone who came in, even if they did not have rooms. They provided advice, water and food. They did this all day, night and day again without sleep. I cannot say enough about how professional and kind they were.As far as the rooms, they have been recently renovated and very comfortable. There is a decent indoor pool and the standard fitness center. I would recommend this place to anyone as a comfortable place to spend the night.
Asked for a pack n play for baby during check in, called down after an hour, and called again when we got back from dinner - took several hours for them to bring it to us. When they brought it, they didn’t bring sheets so I had to go down again to get them. (Another hotel I stayed at had it set up and made by the time our luggage was to our room.)There was pretty loud road noise all night. Hotel was clean, but somewhat dated - renovations were currently taking place and it was loud during the day.The pool and hot tub was very nice!
I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations of this hotel. I dont think Ive ever stayed at a country inn and suites prior to this occasion. I stayed for a business trip. The room was perfect and clean. The fitness area had a broken treadmill but it didnt stop me and someone else from working out. The breakfast was below average. That would be the only improvement. Customer service was great!
The staff was very friendly but the elevators could use some updating as my husband and O nearly got stuck in one...when it began moving again and reached our floor, the door only opened a little over a foot. We had to go through it sideways.Their breakfast is ok but I have certainly had better continental breakfasts in my day. The Wi-Fi is not very good, either. The first day we were there, the toilet paper was not replaced when our room was cleaned so we had to get more from the front desk. The next day, our room was not cleaned at all.The continental breakfast is pretty ordinary. I have certainly had better...but its free So I cant complain.I didnt find the beds very comfortable, however...I couldnt put my finger on why...i just wasnt a fan.Lastly, there were no bags in the trash cans which bugged me, there were holes in the bathroom walls around pipes where there had either been water damage, or it was never installed properly to begin with. The blow dryer in our room didnt work (good thing I brought my own), and there was, at one point, some sort of flying bug that my husband had to kill...I didnt blame the hotel because it happens, but another reviewer said there are bugs in the room so it makes me wonder how often it happens...
Excellent experience at this hotel. Rooms are decent size and clean. Breakfast has a good selection. Complementary cookies every day at the reception desk and complementary coffee as well. Not too far from mainstream Atlanta attractions like World of Coca Cola and Georgia Aquarium.
Friendly staff and clean comfortable room. There was a plumbing issue while I was there, but I was notified in advance and the timing of the work performed was scheduled at a time that I was away from the room, so I had no negative experience. Good location. friendly staff. Ill stay here again if Im ever in the area again overnight.
Stayed here for a few days last week and was very pleased. Loved how close it was to the Braves Stadium, and it was in a nice area. It wasnt a far drive to get to downtown or other must see places in Atlanta. Price was very reasonable and free parking was a plus. Staff members were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Bed and pillows were terrible ((and I can sleep anywhere)) woke up with a headache from how bad it was! Breakfast left a lot to be desired. I guess it was supposed to be blackberries and raspberries?? But was a bowl of mush. I don’t normally rate hotels but I guess for the total of $125, I was expecting more. I’ve stayed at hotels for $90 and left extremely satisfied! The look of the hotel wasn’t bad.. wasn’t anything fancy. The best part of the stay was the free chocolate chip cookies.
This was our first time in Atlanta and this hotel. It was clean and up to date. The hot tub was hot and clean. The breakfast was great. They had a few different things on both days. New items to try and old favorites. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Had no trouble checking in or out. Will be back if ever in Atlanta
Room is acceptable, room service is poor. Breakfast is atrocious, food is cold and impossible. Food provision is laughable. Afternoon social is a joke, chips are the only fare. I would question 3 stars.Since you responded to my post I would like to take the time to augment my statements in case you want specifics to help you correct some of the items that led to my previous statement.I want to tell you that the atmosphere on the following day recovered somewhat. The food quality of the breakfast was about the same but the selection improved. Bu still, the hot food items are dreary and cold. The crew does not seem to understand or care that breakfast meat and eggs should be hot. The little chafing cups on the bottom are not doing anything. The McDonalds egg saucers and the soggy potatoes dont improve the offering either. The rest is probably OK, but the coffee is always running out.The happy hour at 5:00 PM is not happening when the front desk clerk is not able to leave his post. The following day he was there Johnny on the spot and everything went smooth. The munchies and the drinks were fine, the hot items of course had the same issue. The day of the disaster we did not get room service, so we asked for towels, It seems the same issue with the front desk staffing occurred. When we returned in the evening I had to go down and ask again. we finally got some.I think you have well returned to your 3 star status for the overall stay but these irritants for the customers are not necessary if they just pay a little more attention to detail Thanks for an improved stay, we will be back.
Excellent!! Excellent!! Excellent! Im glad I an able to stay here and review this wonderful establishment as well. First and foremost, the booking was so easy, pleasant, and handled with care by a rep named Cindy of Oregon or Idaho, totally different location but a superb customer experience. Secondly, the surrounding area looked recently renovated, so the aesthetics were very pleasing for me upon arrival. Lastly, the service here has been quite superb as well with every staff member greeting you or saying hello and acknowledging your presence which is quite lovely to say the least. The breakfast in the morning, buffet style I might add, is well furnished with silverware and with a fixing of eggs, bread (toast with toaster), potatoes, waffle maker, cereal etc. The Spread was nice and way better than most uppity areas simply put, hands down! I mean a buffet style for 3 of the best cereals?! in my opinion is awesome. The room I stayed in was a 1 bd king, very spacious and not claustrophobic to say the least equipped with microwave & a little fridge. Upon checking in you are given a paper with restaurants that deliver, or local restaurants you can visit in a 3 mile radius (very convenient to know especially if you are not from the area). There is a pool, 24/7 fitness center (Gym), and I believe some rooms might even have the Jacuzzi option. I have one more night to stay and so far definitely recommended and will stay again. I hope this wonderful customer experience continues onward and it does not become laxed, so keep up the good work! This is my third stay with a Radisson affiliated hotel and theyve been quite great in my book, some better than others, though I would like to see consistency across the board. I as well used to work in the hotel industry in my time, and I try not to skimp on the customer service nor the hotel experience! Impressed!
I stayed here for an A+ class I was taking. The hotel could go for a remodel but for my standards it was fine. Comfy bed and they have a shuttle service that’ll carry you anywhere in a 3 mile radius. This will get you to a lot of good places.Office chair in the rooms suck.
The location of this hotel was perfect. You are not in the center of all the craziness and yet it is an easy 15-20 minutes ride to downtown Atlanta. It is conveniently located near the highway & there are plenty of stores a few minutes away if you need to run to grab something you forgot or grab a bite to eat. Although we did not visit, we can clearly see that it was extremely close to the Ballpark. Now thats where that ends...We were put in a suite room which had to 2 separate spaces, one room had 2 Queen beds & the other was basically a living room. The pullout couch was extremely uncomfortable. The fridge that was in the room was ridiculously small. The room was dated & I mean extremely dated. The furniture has seen better days & there were stains & rips on the arm of the love seat as well as stains on the side chair. The bathroom was extremely small. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were way to soft like they should be replaced. The pool was heated but not cleaned the entire time we were there (4 days, 3 nights). The hot tub was a hot mess with murky water & tiles that looked like they needed a good scrubbing. Needless to say, We would not be returning because of other issues as well that are just to long to list.
If I could rate this hotel negative stars, I would. Horrible hotel and service. The staff at the front desk is rude and does not care about their customers. The staff had promised me a room this morning, since the previous room had a weird odor. So when I tried to retrieve my new room, they told me that “it was not their problem and there was no more rooms.” After a long argument, they “magically” found a room for me. The rooms are also unsanitary and unclean. I found fried rice and candy nerds under my bedsheets. How absurd!? How can this even be a 3 star hotel? I’ll rather live in the dumpster. The breakfast silverware is not even washed properly and has food stains from the previous user. In result, I’m never returning.
2019-Feb,We arrived past 11 pm.Front desk was pleasant and got me checked in at no time. Free cookies at the check-in counter.Parking was easy. Lobby was clean. All the staff were very pleasant. My daughter left her purse in the breakfast chair, so we called and asked the staff to look for it and hang on to it until we get back. Our room was in the 5th floor. Two elevators were provided. Typical 2-bed room with mini fridge, microwave, and a little bar sink.It was clean but a little warm but you can adjust the thermostat. However, the temperature doesnt get cooler than 70 degrees. I tried to lower the temperature more to 65 to see if it will get cooler, nope did not work.Housekeeping cleans the room everyday.Shower has the hotel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face soap, and bath soap. 4 sets of towels, hand towels, and face towels. Hair dryer was provided as well. The shower head needs major upgrade! Water pressure was low and the shower head nozzles were clogged. Floor drain did not drain as fast either.Flat screen and programming was ok. HBO was included in the tv programs. The bed was acceptable. 3 pillows were provided in each bed. The pillows were so flat- not recommended for side sleepers like me. Bed sheets were comfortable. No usb plugs available on the night stand.Breakfast buffet is ok. Sausage, eggs, & potatoes everyday except Sunday. They have bacon instead of sausage on Sunday. They also served cereals, oatmeal, make your waffle, fruits, muffins, breads, juices, coffee, milk, tea, and hot chocolate packets. One thing to note, the waffle us too saggy the minute you take it out from the waffle maker. I thought it was just one day, but it was everyday of our stay there.Swimming pool was decent size for an indoor pool. From 3-ft deep to 6-ft deep. Pool water was cold, not even close to luke warm. Even the other parents were complaining about it. It was clean. Towels were provided in the pool area.If this review helped you in any way, please give it a thumbs up.Thank you and have a great vacation!
Friendly and helpful front desk staff, best hotel breakfast weve had in a long time--hot grits and oatmeal, for example, not packets, and real fruit in their juices for the waffles. You could dress up the eggs with hot sauce, salsa, peppers, and onions. English muffins. Lots of variety! No loud Fox news blaring while we ate ( how nice!).Free wifi. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed was a little soft for my taste, but we slept well. You can definitely hear the stadium fireworks, but the noise isnt bad.We stayed in order to walk to the Braves game--half a mile and very convenient--and felt safe coming and going at night. (Stadium gates dont open till six, so dont rush--otherwise, youll just be standing in the hot sun. Learn from us!)We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
Staff is friendly. Was told rooms were updated and they werent. Found pubic hair on bathroom floors. No trash can liners. Beds... I wont even get on the topic. If your looking for a cheap stay, great place. If you are expecting quality, there are plenty of other hotels in the area you get more for your money. Atl is a very busy city, especially while in the middle of football and baseball season so, expect heavy traffic and other hotels running out of rooms to book. My theory, it is worth spending a little more money for better sleep and service.
Was the worst experience EVER. We evacuated due to hurricane Dorian and upon arriving we decided to catch a Braves game & stay close to the stadium (bad idea with this facility). We checked in with two toddlers & asked the front desk attendant how far we were from the park, she said 3 blocks, 5 min walk. That was a complete lie! Thank goodness something told us to drive.Once we got back around 11p, our room had ants everywhere. Especially the trashcan. Talk about infestation.I went downstairs and the attendant pleasantly assisted in changing our rooms. Once settled into the 2nd room... More ants! My fear now is could they have now gotten into any luggage since they were in various parts of the room for hours while we were at the game.I went to the front desk to check out & possibly speak to a GM or AGM but they advised theyd inform them. Still no response.I would NOT recommend this dated facility. Our remote in the 2nd room had missing buttons. The sink backed up & wouldnt drain, as well as smelled like settled cigarette smoke. This 2md room was better than the 3rd possible room she let me see. But that room was hot, and had a musty mildew smell. We did a Hotwire secret rate of $99, and that was too much for this experience, so their regular $110+ rate would be a total waste. And breakfast ends addy 930a, anywhere Ive ever stayed, breakfast ended at least by 11a.Im just overall disappointed & disgusted.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend with our 6 month old daughter for three nights. We were nervous about what the hotel would be like because the $99/night rate for a 2 room suite almost sounded too good to be true. We could not have had a better experience! This is, hands down, one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at in this price range.First impressions were excellent. The landscaping is beautiful; lots of colorful flowers that appear to be well cared for. Complimentary freshly baked cookies are offered at the front desk upon check-in. My husband and I probably ate our weight in chocolate chip cookies (although they all taste good). We were offered a portable crib for our daughter (which was actually a pack-n-play), but we had brought our own. The front lobby is large and open, but is decorated in a way that makes it feel warm and inviting.Luckily, the first impressions were a good indicator of what was to come. Our room was extremely clean ... one of our friends commented that even the grout in the shower tile was sparkling white! The continental breakfast is one of the largest and well stocked that Ive experienced at other hotels in this price range. Waffles, eggs, bacon, breakfast burritos, pastries, yogurt, grits, oatmeal (and toppings), cold cereal, frozen berries, fresh fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. All the staff were extremely friendly and personable. Finally, I accidentally left behind a few items in a drawer, but didnt realize until after we had checked out and had arrived back home. I called the hotel and the staff was extremely helpful in getting the items mailed back to me in a timely manner.I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to all my friends traveling to the Atlanta area! Its an extra bonus that the hotel is located right off I-75 and is only about a 15-20 minute drive to get downtown. If I had to find one flaw, it would be that the windows did not seem thick enough to block most noise (it almost seemed like the windows were open), but this never ended up being an issue since the AC fan was running almost constantly and we packed a white noise machine.
I stayed here and I agree the staff is nice but that doesnt cut it. My room was not cleaned properly. There was food lefted in the refrigerator from the last guest. Also there was old sauce packages on the side of bed. I didnt make a big deal about it but I reported to the staff the next day. My second day I found someones under garment in the closet. The hotel manager admitted my room was the last to be cleaned prior to my stay and they may have missed a few things. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They did clean the room properly i guess the 2nd night. I do not recommend any place due to cleanliness.
The location of this hotel was fantastic, the overall experience while i was there was fine, issues i ran into was i am currently into the second week attempting to get a situation resolved where i am repeatedly told and assured that someone will call back and update me on email and it never happens, i make phone calls every day and get the same repeated response that someone will get to me, got transferred to their reservations, talked to someone who opened a case and said they are required to respond within 2 days, guess what.., no response. They severely lack in communication with their clients.
Great service. The hotel was super clean and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. I mentioned that I had a blister on my foot after walking from the stadium and before I knew it, the woman at the front desk was handing me a bandaid. They offer free transportation to and from various nearby restaurants and again, the service was amazing. The driver was knowledgeable about the restaurants and very kind and personable. This may be a 3 star hotel but they give 5 star service. Free breakfast, happy hour, and a pool and hot tub thats open till 12 are just icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!
The suite we stayed in was set up like a small apartment. The bedroom, which has its own entrance into the hall, has a bathroom, television, and closet. The living room area, which also has its own entrance into the hallway, has a microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge, sofa bed, chair and desk. It also has its own bath room and closet.Yes, two full bathrooms.Breakfast is include (but I skipped it). Mon. -Thurs. they offer an appetizer happy hour in the evening. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was great as well, especially Victor and GiGi.The property is minutes away from Cumberland Mall ,SunTrust Stadium, and plenty of eateries.
Best hotel staff Ive ever met. Everyone from the hotel management to the cleaning crew were genuinely courteous and respectful. Clean rooms, beautiful landscaping and a decent breakfast bar, with a variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Every time I go to Atlanta, I will be staying at this establishment!
My wife and 3 young boys have been well taken care of while on vacation in Atlanta by this hotel and its team. The manager Mr. Albert, has displayed great acts of care and charity to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, going out of his way to go above and beyond for my wife and children. My wife has raved about this hotel and its management team. Can recommend from experience. Talk to Albert! Hes the man.
The stay was fine. We were there for the Braves game. Food was okay for breakfast. Beds were okay. Pool was very clean. BUT, do not EVER leave anything behind at this hotel. I accidentally left my makeup there, they said it would be ready for me in lost & found. I said okay, I’ll come get it. Well, I work until 8pm, so I got there at 9. They said they didn’t have the key and would not give it to me, but they would ship it out to me right away. Okay, I’m frustrated, but I waited. Three days later, it was still not shipped. I called, and the lady didn’t know anything, at all. Then they told me they had the bag. They had never shipped it in the first place. NEVER LEAVE YOUR THINGS THERE. They don’t care about them.
Recently stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for a family fun weekend trip. The hotel was easy to find and parking is easy and close to entrance. The staff at the front desk were very courteous and helpful in helping us to find a nearby restaurant. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast had a varied menu with...
The service was excellent. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. The grounds were well taken care of. The rooms were very nicely prepared and I had no issues. My kids attended anime weekend Atlanta while I stayed in the room and studied. The internet was a little spotty but I managed. This location is very close to SunTrust park and the galleria. We slept well and were very comfortable. Well stay here again if we are in the area again.
This hotel was so nice and clean. The staff was really nice and the pool in this hotel is huge and indoors. They have q shuttle that takes you from the hotel to where you would like to go within the 3 miles from the hotel. Very nice people and would definitely stay here again.
This was one of the absolute BEST hotels we ever stayed at. Out of my top 2 this is the number 1 place. Customer service was EXCELLENT, they have a great selection for breakfast, and the amenities is outstanding. We will definitely be back here considering we frequent Atlanta often. Thank you for the awesome service. ☆☆☆☆☆
Extremely disappointed in my experience here at this hotel. The front desk was great at check-in. If you need anything, it is difficult to get help. Property is great but employees have been less than helpful. If here for the Cisco training center, you will have full use of the shuttle that is advertised. Other guests may wait for long periods of time without any idea of when the shuttle might arrive. It is not walkable distance to the stadium, conference center or Cumberland mall. I would book another hotel even if it is a bit more price. If here for the Cisco training center this property will likely work fine.
Quiet. Reasonable rate considering Braves were in town and playing. Wish they extended the Host Happy Hour a bit longer. Ms Kim was on the front desk and a kinder soul you couldnt find in the city! So helpful and truly interested in you being there. I wouldnt hesitate one bit in booking this hotel again! Great job Radisson....
The staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast was well displayed. However the whole purpose of booking was for the jacuzzi which wasnt working properly- no heat whatsoever, the wifi never connected and the rooms felt damp and cold. Will never be back but I will commend the staff for the customer great service.
My husband and I booked a room for July 20th-July 21st, I picked the wrong dates for my booking and thought I had booked the room for July 21st-22nd. When we arrived they told me that I missed my reservation for the day before and that my card was charged the cancellation fee, although I never received an e-mail/confirmation of missed reservation. This hotel is very disorganized and unprofessional. The lady at the front desk stated that Good thing she has another room and that will be an extra cost! I just paid for the night before over $150.00 and charged a cancellation fee ON TOP of another room fee for the night we showed up. The hallways are dirty/dingy and the rooms have a foul smell/uncomfortable mattresses/pillows. I WOULD never recommend this hotel! Although expressing my concerns to the front desk and stating everything I said above they didnt accommodate.
I just want to say that this hotel was the most amazing place to stay with the easiest check in/check out, amazing free breakfast and free cookies. The staff was so incredibly nice. This was our first trip to Georgia and we went to visit the Aquarium, Zoo, and World of Coke. The hotel was conveniently about 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do without being in the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s also within 3 minutes of the Braves stadium! We definitely will be staying here when we return to Atlanta.
Lumpy beds, broken heater, clogged toilet, tv picture pixelated most of the time. Dated is fine, but in this case its indicative of the upkeep and maintenance. Breakfast service was rude, but entertaining. At 7:45am, we asked if there was any coffee and that started a half hour from her of slamming cupboards, putting the coffee carafes down with a huff. There were 2 slices of bread and we asked if there were any bagels. Big mistake. More slamming of doors, and I thought she was going to break some dishes! No bacon, 2 apples and the remnants of some mixed fruit.Front desk friendly, but we watched her listen to a couple complaints and shes tired of that.Omelet picture on the website was definitely taken by a professional photographer with a great food filter. They are premade components, mushy mushrooms, and look nothing like this.
Review is based on a phone call to hotel directly just now. I called and a hotel female representative picked up the phone and even before I got my enquiry out....I was abruptly placed on hold. After 7 minutes, I called back and again the same thing happened. No explanation or anything. I thought I would give it a few more attempt and was directly sent to the long music/ad line. This is unacceptable level of customer service/phone etiquette.
Great place to stay and catch a Braves Game. Very clean room, great indoor pool, and a stones throw away from the new Braves Battery Complex, the price is a steal if you are from the East or West Coast. Property and new sports park are in Cobb County so be on your best behavior and make sure to get a parking pass for your vehicles from the hotel staff and make sure its visible. Overall Great Place to stay for business and personal stay.
This hotel is extremely out dated. The beds were very uncomfortable to the point where I couldn’t sleep. The bed itself literally was slanted downward in the middle of it which emphasize the fact that the beds are extremely old and over used. The breakfast was absolutely terrible, I was astounded by the fact that they had such a small selection and the items they did have were tasteless. Overall a bad experience and I made a mistake in choosing this hotel
This hotel is nice, Ive been here on two separate occasions and was greeted by Vanessa both times. Vanessa is a true gem!! After traveling over 11 hours driving over night she ensured I was able to check in before check in time @ 3p.m. Breakfast is decent, rooms are decent and clean.. A lil bit over priced but Id rather pay a lil more here than trying to save a buck @ other hotels Ive stayed @ in the area with roaches & bed bugs... The only complaint I have is the bed is not comfortable & could use more pillows for a king size bed....
VERY NICE HOTEL WITH AN OUTSTANDING VALUE! Friendly reservation and reception staff. Complimentary cookies at check-in. Clean rooms. Spacious (INDOOR) pool; which was great with kids. Fitness room, small but adequate. We stayed in a double queen with a pullout. Sleeps 6! Managers Special from 5-7pm with free drinks (including beer/wine) and light snacks (chips, crackers, cheeses, etc.) And a more-than-sufficient continental breakfast to boot. I am fairly certain you just wont beat that package in the ATL area. I highly recommend this hotel, and will stay there again when in the Atlanta area.

2022-01-24*****5 Stars***** staff was amazing and the entire experience was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, seamless. The breakfast was great and the location is fantastic. Stayed for a business meeting at the hotel and their staff made all aspects of working with them very easy. Many people were in our party and all had great things to say. Would happily return.

2022-03-16I booked 9 rooms for 4 days for a group taking part in an event in downtown Atlanta. We had a wonderful stay at the Country Inn and Suites! The staff was friendly, professional, and customer-oriented. They addressed all questions or concerns quickly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, and the hot breakfast was abundant and delicious. The location was close to the ballpark and to I-75, yet it was quiet, and it was within walking distance of a number of eateries. We will definitely stay there again next time were in the area. Thank you!

2022-02-22I am a night shift travel nurse. It is very difficult to find a nice hotel that is willing to accommodate my sleeping needs. Most wont even consider an 8 or 9am check in, but Country Inn did and was very gracious about it. I also got a medical personnel discount on my room price. The room itself was great!! Clean, well appointed, fridge/microwave etc. I cancelled my other reservation at competitor where they would not even guarantee I could be in bed by 11am. They were shocked I cancelled. I told manager I would be sharing my experience with them...he was not happy..lol.

2022-03-21Our decision to book this hotel was based off of prior reviews. The reviews did not mislead us. Located in a safe, upper scale part of town with grocery stores and great restaurants choices in less than a 5 minute drive. The hotel is beautiful inside and out (and kept litter free). Clean, modern and spacious. Genuinely kind and helpful employees. Will book again!!!

2022-02-16Best hotel weve ever stayed so far during our trip and its the only reason we really want to extend our stay in Atlanta without doing anything but just stay and relax in this hotel for a whole day. The hotel room is very spacious, clean, and super quiet. Excellent breakfast! Pretty decent for the price. We wish we could carry it with us for the rest of our trip.

2022-01-01This hotel was great for our stay. Pool and whirlpool were nice and clean. Customer service was good. Drive to downtown Atlanta is only 16 minutes. The room was nice and spacious. They give you a list of places to eat near the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

2022-02-181. There were holes in the wall and had to deal with a lady bug infestation during the last night.2. Bed was very hard.3. Pool is only open until 8 which is really stupid. We booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool/hot tub only to find it closed before most people get back before the end of the day! If it’s for extensive cleaning for Covid, close it at 6AM not open it at 6AM.4. They don’t clean the rooms everyday. We stayed for 3 nights and was annoying to find out that they weren’t going to come in and at least empty the trash. Will not stay again…then again it was only $90 a night…

2022-02-16We had a great time! It was my kids first time staying in a hotel. The front staff was extremely friendly, and especially James Good, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy! Would recommend to anyone!!

2022-03-23So far so good. The king beds are actual king size. This is not often the case in hotels. The rooms are spacious. They do have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. The bathroom is a good size. If youre going to a ballgame, you really cant beat the location for the price & quality. Ice makers are on every floor. Free breakfast. Theres also a nice sized indoor pool.
