My group and I never checked in. Walked in and immediately saw that the pool AND workout room were closed INDEFINITELY. It’s 94 degrees today and there are so many other hotels to stay in where we can enjoy our short break. Asked for a refund and cancelled without issue from CHELSEA who was professional and accommodating. Management, it’s the summer. Fix your pool, or at least inform your potential guests so that we can decide what is important to us.
Positive: Beds were comfortable Refrigerator woked very well. Negative: Dirty! Crud in the corner of the bathroom. Black marks on the bathroom wall. I tested it. It came off. Sink wouldnt drain. Found a french fry on the side of the bed.TV remote only works the box. Had to get out of bed adjust volume or turn it off and
Positive: STAFF,Friendly, kind, smiling caring people. Breakfast is great, good selection. I stayed almost 2 full weeks, because of emergency situation, so I got to see the true side of staff and operations. Negative: Needs some updating, carpets& pool area could use inside/ outside lounging area, and Coffee throughout the day.
Made reservations well in advance for a suite with 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper. Received a phone call prior to check in that accommodations were now unavailable. Pool was out of order. Room did not have towels or toiletries. Thick dust in bathroom. Carpets are stained and filthy. Bedding was clean. Room did smell of Clorox, which is a plus. Furniture is old and damaged. Pictures on website misrepresent the condition of this hotel. Would not recommend hotel.
I paid a higher price for a hotel with an indoor hot tub and pool. The hot tub was barely warm and the pool was freezing. Breakfast was barely passable. We went down at 7:30 and they were already out of hot breakfast and not refilling. Staff was friendly but clueless. Internet did not work and I had to use my own hotspot. Very disappointing for the price.
Positive: I didnt like anything about this hotel starting with no towels to accommodate my kids and I . There was no shower curtain in the room. Roaches appeared out of the bathroom vents which was it for me. My comfort level was done hoping we did bring any home. Negative: Everything mainly the Roaches. No towels no shower curtain and remote didnt work correctly. Worst experience ever.
Ok my experience at county Inn and suites in Brunswick Go on 95 was a nightmare the first room was 104 the carpet was so dirty look like it havent been cleaned in ten or more years the TV didnt work the plugs didnt work the microwave tray was in the bathroom sink it was just awful. The next room they tried to put us in was 106 the smell was worse I turned back the sheets to sanatize them and the first thing I see is a bloody mattress cover and the lady said, Im sure it not blood .blood or not just take this off our card we are leaving. I wouldnt recommend this Hotel to anyone I cant even give them a half of a star.my Husband has pictures.
Positive: Location Negative: Breakfast was advertised. Paper bag with a mini muffin, mini orange, mini Bottle of water. The room only had 2 bars of soap & both were broken into Pieces. Bath only had two towels, Two face cloths, there was only one waste basket for the room .
I had paid through Hotwire and I show up to check in. The payment was never received by the hotel. They wanted me to pay again. After I showed the front desk staff that I did in fact already pay for the room, I called Hotwire. Hotwire tried to call the front desk but the phone wasnt working. Again, I got on the phone with Hotwire to mention that I still can not get into the room that I paid for. Country Inn spoke with Hotwire to verify that I did pay for the room. Hotwire said they would submit my credit card via fax to the hotel. Country Inn doesnt even have a working fax machine! I spent over an hour trying to get into the room I paid for. Hotwire told me the front desk cant accommodate me and that I have to find a new hotel to stay in... keep in mind this is 11:30pm after driving multiple hours that day. Very disappointed.
We had many issues. Do not stay here. I was quoted the online price from Google when I called in to verify the price but then I was charged almost twice as much. I requested cleaning and they never came. So they ended up cleaning the last day. They only had cereal and fruit for breakfast. The saddest breakfast Ive ever seen at any hotel. The manager wasnt able to take off anything much except for them not cleaning. She had the nerve to act like it was my fault they overcharged me.. Overall incompetent trash. Terrible service! Negative 0 stars
Staff was friendly but all the problems made visit unpleasant. Room was dirty, security was lax (someone else had our room key and tried to get into our room while we were sleeping), key cards did not work, coffee in room for only one day, not enough towels. On the positive side the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable.
This place is nasty!!!! First I want to give a shout out to the lady Destiny at front desk. She needs a raise. She was so polite and professional. However the room was terrible #107. The shower had molded every where and no water pressure because the shower head was so old and nasty. Pictures shows how bad but its worse in person. Breakfast was a joke. Phones to hotel dont work at all. Management should be a shame.
On the 28th of October (sorry for the delay!!!), we stayed at the hotel because we got tired from driving. And I have to say while we did have an issue with the room we stayed in… not one moment was considered a bad experience. Lorita, the front desk supervisor, made our entire stay worth every penny! She was hospitable and patient from the moment we walked through the doors. She switched out room without hesitation and she treated us like family. I had my 4 year old granddaughter with me and she was absolutely amazing with her: Lorita is definitely an asset and please feel confident if you stay here you will have a beyond expectation experience. I would not stay anywhere else just because of Lorita!!
We confirmed that our cat would be welcome. We were given a room over the front door. Every time it opened there is an audible clunk and slight vibration. The carpet was dirty and patched, the naugahyde chair peeling, other furniture was completely mismatched and jaded to the point that I doubt it would be accepted as a donation by a thrift store. Not all was negative. The bed was comfortable and the towels fluffy and it was a cheap one night stay. That said, I am not sure how it got a 3 star rating, a total puzzlement to me.
Im giving them a 5 star rating as my whole experience there was absolutely wonderful with starting at the front desk we were greeted as soon as we went through there doors by a very personable lady ( Audrey) she was very helpful an informative an made our whole experience there pleasurable. Even through the computer glitches She kept apologizing to us. She also prepared the morning breakfast with southern style charm, breakfast is served till 9:30 am for the late risers. I loved the indoor heated pool which stays open from 6am-12am theres also a exercise room an on sight laundry room an vending machines for late night snacks.Theres even a small business center. The rooms were very clean the beds were so comfortable that we slept like we were on a cloud. The rooms are all accessible from inside making it much safer. Theres plenty of well lighted parking an many handicapped parking spaces an handicapped accessible through the front entry way. Theres also a roomy elevator an 2 flights of stairs. Its off the road nestled in plenty shade trees so theres no cars buzzing by during your sleeping time. Theres a microwave an mini refrigerator an freezer with a desk with swivel chair to set at while catching up on some paperwork theres also free WIFI for your laptop an electronics. An a wide screen TV with many channels to watch. Theres also a Radisson rewards Americas reward system just join an become a member for exclusive benefits an points Award for night stays across the Americas hotels so enroll an start enjoying some extra benefits. They take AARP & AAA for a discount off your room as well. Puts a little smile on your face..There located right off the Glynco pkway down the spur 25 an 1/2 of a mile from I-95..
Used to love this Country Inn & Suites. Staff was very nice but hotel has become run down. There were square cut out of a carpet. A burnt iron mark on carpet paint on furniture was coming off a closing would underneath. Simply put was just run down in need of renovation. But on the other hand the staff was very pleasant and nice and we still enjoyed our stay there. Although we will not return
The beds were comfy! I appreciate that more than anything. So 2 stars. And the AC was cold!!Here’s the bad: There were no comforters on the beds. There was a fitted sheet, a top sheet, and then another top sheet that was printed so it looked like a comforter but totally wasn’t. So you only had 2 sheets on top of you. I asked the front desk for a blanket only to be told they didn’t have any left. The pool’s chlorine was so high it stung my eyes to even walk into the room. The fitness room was being renovated so that was closed. There were towels and wash cloths in the bathroom but no hand towels. And only one bar of soap.So not worth the price.
Positive: There wasnt one thing that I liked about this hotel. It was so dirty and the furnishings were shabby. We took one look at the two rooms that they offered us and left and ended up staying at a Comfort Suites across the street. Shame on the owners Negative: The hotel was filthy. The sidewalk outside the front door was dirty and littered with cigarette butts. The public space carpets all desperately needed to be vacuumed. There were candy pieces in the elevator tracks. There were no towels in the filthy room.
Positive: The bed was comfortable. the decor was modern. The lady that checked me out was polite. Breakfast had waffles, 2 cereals, 2 muffin choices, yogurt, cheese sticks, coffee, juice, milk. Negative: The floors were dirty from the entrance to the room. someone spilled some sticky liquid on the elevator floor.the next morning it was still there. The baseboards in the bathroom were black with dust. There were no towels, wash cloths or soap in the room.
The service was great. The bed was absolutely amazing and comfortable. The pool hours from 6am to midnight was a hit. However, the breakfast was not amazing. Cereal, make a waffle or have a muffin. Had higher expectations. Otherwise was a good over night stay. 2nd time there and Will come back again. Maybe to a nicer breakfast.
It saddens me to write such a pitiful review because the staff here is so nice. Overall, I dont know if this place changed ownership or if the regional manager has had to make cuts but this place is lacking and this, and the rest of the reviews will tell you that. The people at the front desk are wonderful and the house keepers are friendly and helpful but there are things about this place that you cant fix with a smile. We are traveling as a family of six and booked a room accordingly... 2 queen suite with pullout couch. Our room wasnt necessarily dirty but just seemed depressing. It has a air filter that looks like it hasnt been changed since the beginning of the year(its July now), the sink has a crack in it and the fridge in the room barely gets cold. When we went to get linens for the couch bed, we were told they didnt have any extra pillows plus it has a massive stain in the middle of it. our room keys had to be recoded several times though out our one night stay and my wife said she rode the elevator with a gentleman that had just checked in and was given a room that was already occupied! We stayed at this hotel several years ago and were excited about coming back but in the future i think we will have to find a different hotel. Things werent this bad during our last stay.
Do yourself a favor and don’t stay hereWhen I first arrived and was finally checked in (that in itself was along process because only one computer was working at the front desk) I went up to the first room they gave me and when I got there it looked as if someone had just gotten out of the bed and threw the cover back over the bed. Needless to say I went and got another room. When I got to that room there where no towels or any other bathroom linens so back down the stairs I went again. There is nothing about this hotel that screams clean! It is awful! The we went down for breakfast in the morning and there was cereal NO MILK they were out, and waffles nothing else! And it was a mess around the waffle area. We just went back up stairs. I have never been so disappointed in a chain in my life. We picked country Inn and suites because it supposed to be one of the nicer hotel chains but this one gives the whole chain a bad reputation!!
The trip was okay because it was decent enough to stay in for one day but there were some troubles. When we arrived the front desk was kind and helpful, although when we went into our room there were only 2 towels which was not enough for my family. The front desk hadnt told us that they were fixing the plumbing issues for the entire hotel, we were confused why the water pressure was so low and nothing was working. The breakfast was pretty sad but it was enough to keep me awake through half the day
We had a very unpleasant experience and actually ended up changing hotels for the remainder of our stay. First off, the elevator smelled like weed. The first room we were assigned was visibly unclean, missing a shower curtain, and the shower head was corroded. The room we were moved to was a little less dirty. The windows, not just curtains, were WIDE open. Keep in mind its already after 10 pm at this point. There were spots on the top sheet/sheer on the bed. The tub was stained. The shower head was still corroded. We suffered through it for one night because it was so late, I had to get up early and we have young children. Of course, when I woke up, the whole FLOOR smelled like weed. On top of that, there was no breakfast. And the pool was closed. The staff, however, was extremely nice and helpful. I almost felt bad for wanting to leave this place, considering they were the only thing good we experienced here. This is quite possibly the WORST Country Inn & Suites Ive ever been to.
There were 3 of us to share a room. There were 2 wash clothes, 1 bath mat and and NO TOWELS in the bathroom for us to share. We arrived after midnight and would loved to have been able to shower after traveling for over 6 hours. Pet friendly is the only good thing I have to say about it. If they can accommodate pet owners, they should also offer smoking rooms. We wont be staying there again.
Checked in on 6/24 to find out that the pool and hot tub were still not available. Seems that the health department added more conditions for the hotel to meet before they would certify and allow them to open up. The bed was much harder than previous stays and breakfast wasnt the best. Hotel staff were amazing and very kind! Room was clean and the AC kept the room very cold! So, 3 out of 5 mainly because of the inability to enjoy the hotel amenities. Not quite worth the money to not have a pool.
Overall, the hotel stay was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arriving, however, neither of my two rooms were cleaned and ready so I ended up having to wait a couple of hours. Then we had to change one of the rooms because the AC wasnt working.Once that was done the rooms were fine. If this place did some upgrades and a good facelift it would be a charming property. Its conveniently located and parking access is very easy.
I guess you get what you pay for. If you’re thinking of staying here, just keep scrolling. There were so many issues with our room from the smell to a phone and TV remote that didn’t work. But the kicker was they have no towels. As in no bath towels for you to shower! How can you run a hotel without having enough towels to supply your rooms? Don’t waste your time or money.
Positive: Waffles for breakfast, no napkins or fruit. Room clean, no bugs, safe area. Negative: Managers door and table needed coat of paint. Curtain off tract and fixed with a clamp. Toilet bowl needed scrubbing. Room needs updating. Not up to Radisson standard unless they have downgraded. Handicap bars needed cleaning around flanges.
Positive: Location Negative: 4 rooms before found one useable, 1 was dirty, torn furniture, stained carpet, 1 had no heat, 1 was smelled so bad employee turned around and said I cant take you in here. Our final room (107): no remote for TV, 1/2 lights out, general disrepair
I usually enjoy Country Inn and Suites. However this stay was unpleasant. The hotel was worn down. The bathroom was not in great condition. Everything was clean but worn. There was way too much noise because their internet/cable was down. Many kids were understandably bored with no TV or cell phone access to play games. They were running up and down the halls and playing and screaming with glee. I love kids but we we had just arrived after a very long drive and wanted to rest after 9 pm.We cancelled the next 3 nights and went to another hotel in the complex. I understand the internet was down but they offered no compensation for this and said it wouldn’t be up until Monday, 2 days later.I’m a very fair person but won’t stay there again unless it gets higher ratings than it has now.
I rarely write reviews. Mostly only when I want to warn people. Please do not stay here. This place was disgusting. Im very surprised since Ive stayed a quite a number of country inn and suites. The staff dont care and they dont clean. Examples dog hair on beds, dog food on floor, centerpede on curtain, mold in bathroom, black grout thats supposed to be white, pool had a tadpole. I had read reviews beforehand and I am shocked at how off the reviews are. Please run from this place. If I didnt arrive so late in the evening I would of gone somewhere else.
Positive: Location Negative: Hotel was not up to par with other Country Inn and Suites weve stayed with in the past. The hotel was selected due to its pet friendly status, but our first room had an overwhelming odor. Thankfully, the front desk switched our room without a problem.
Starting off with the positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, but that was the high point. The room was clean, but for a room set for 4 people there were only 2 full size towles with no wash cloths nor hand towels and the showerhead looked like it may have had mold on it. The breakfast that they say is provided was the worst that I have ever seen. They had waffle makers, butter, and syrup, but no waffle batter. No eggs, toast, well it was just sad. We went to McDonalds for our breakfast instead, which I do not consider to be a high end breakfast.
This place is a complete dump. The carpet in the hallways is dirty as was the floor in the elevator. When I got to my room on the third floor, none of the lamps worked nor did the tv. The bathroom was beyond gross and the tub was stained. But the ultimate red flag was no towels or soap in the bathroom. The bedding looks old and the microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot were disgusting. I had no choice but to stay there but as soon as the sun came up I ran out of there as fast as I could. The breakfast area was less than inviting. Eewww! I wouldn’t let my did stay or eat there. Corporate will definitely be getting an email from me regarding the deplorable condition this hotel is in. I have stayed at another Country inn and Suites in Port Wentworth and it was beautiful. I was so looking forward to staying at this one. Now I just hope I can sleep tonight without worrying about a roach crawling into bed with me. Never again for this hotel or the Radisson chain of hotels.
Positive: Location. Somewhat convenient off I-95 just north of Brunswick. Negative: This hotel was a complete dump. Filthy worn out carpeting. especially inside room. Worn out desk chair. Coffee and breakfast only from 6 to 8:00am only! How stupid is that for weary travelers arriving late the evening before. many sad faces in the mor
ZERO towels for guests - who has ever stayed in a hotel that doesnt have towels for you to take a shower? Never in my entire life have I had this problem. Hotel is dirty. Floor is filthy. Bathroom dirty. Carpet and furniture are stained. I made the mistake of booking this hotel as a 3 star hotel with 3.5 stars without reading the reviews. Massive mistake. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
What stay?? I made my reservation with the hotel on 10/8 to stay 10/9 to 10/10. I was 2 hours away, it was a 6 hour drive total. I noticed we had 3 Missed calls at 8:30 pm, the hotel called me at 7:32 pm 7:46 pm and 8:15 pm, so I return the call only to find out that they cancelled our reservation. I asked the lady, so your telling me you donthave a room for me? So what am I supposed to do with that? I was upset and it showed in my voice but she then got a horrible attitude and said, well I dont know what youre ur supposed to do. Ive been calling you for 3 hours. She didnt call me the first time until 7:32 pm, her last attempt was 8:15 pm, I called her back at 8:30 pm, apparently she doesnt know time or math, that is definitely only one hour! Once we realized she wasnt going to try to be any help, I asked for her supervisors phone number, her response, I aint given you no cell phone number. I said, I asked for her phone number not her cell. This horrible lady claims to be the general manager of this hotel, how in the world can you hire someone that is without customer service skills on top of inarticulate and rude, I will make sure to never stay at any of these hotel chains, theres to many hotels available with respectable, pleasant employees. Thanks for making the trip so rememerable, we enjoyed nothing more than searching for some where to start at 9 pm at the last minute, its practically impossible.
Best customer service that we have ever had. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. The coffee was very good and always fresh. The food was great too. The heated indoor pool and jacuzzi looks amazing. Washer and Dryer on site makes a long stay convenient. The lobby was amazing and the furniture was new and very nice. I loved the layout that facilitates either family or business. The room we booked was very clean and odor free. Lorita Oliver checked us in and she was the nicest and sweetest person to me and my family. Even though we was traveling...this place felt like home. Highly recommend staying here.
Both rooms we tried had hair on sheets. One room had clearly not been vacuum on several guests. Dresser tops were sticky.. musty smell in both rooms. I can not imagine anything was sanitized or even close to COVID clean. Front desk was apologetic and explained they had a hard time keeping employees and were short staffed. Would not recommend unless they get new/additional cleaners.
Wet toilet paper. Gross stuff on bedspread. Found a tooth flosser under the cable box. Missing remote. No towels. The poor desk clerk, who was doing her best, kept having to go in the back to fold towels. Very worn out rooms. Stains on curtains. Will never stay at a Country Inn again. All this for over $150!
The bathroom was not clean when we got there and we had no towels. We found roaches. Everyday the key cards had to be recoded. When asked for toilet paper they never gave us any. There was a trashcan on the 3rd floor by the elevator that had a dirty diaper in it that stuck up the floor and it was there the whole week we were there. Someone kept smoking pot and you could smell it all over the hotel. We will not be staying there again.
Start with this review was going to have a one star unfortunately upon arrival we checked in it was a very nice hotel got to our room and within 5 minutes already had an issue the AC did not work although the lady at the front was amazing and should get a raise!! kept coming down there the remainder of her shift to check on us and to try to get it working they could not move us because there was no other rooms so we had to spend the night in a hot room when I went to get in the shower I realized there was a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain in the shower which then made me paranoid the rest of the night that the room wasnt clean properly also the toilet had issues the following morning we were notified that she was trying to get another room prepared for us their jacuzzi suite that room was amazing I had a Jacuzzi next to the bed me and my husband got to relax and enjoy the rest of our anniversary all in all it was a okay ..
The room was dirty. There was trash built up at the trash can by the elevator flowing over on to the floor. The pool was closed. The hot tub was broken. None of the vending machines worked. Only one ice machine worked. No breakfast or even coffee in the morning. Then to top it off our toilet broke and it was a 2 to 3 hour thing because he kept on bringing back used parts that broke or didnt fit. He kept on trying. He kept apologizing for holding us up from going to the beach and sight seeing. We were agitated.Definitely not a good experience.
We checked in at 12am. The bathroom only had 2 towels. At 8am housekeeping came banging on our door walking up the whole room and checkout isn’t until 11am woke up my children and everything. When I called front desk to complain they were soo rude and didn’t care we jus got woken upp for nothin. Asked to speak to a manager there’s no manger. I will never stay here I would rather sleep in my car.
Customer Service was great and staff was friendly. Although, the hotel is very outdated. Rust in fridge, bathroom and tub. Sheets very stained with cigarette holes. Breakfast is a yogurt, granola bar and cheese stick. We checked out two days early (3 day visit). Like I stated before customer service was good because they tried to fix situation. Pets are welcome, which Im allergic to but this is a perk for pet lovers.
There was hair in the bed, tub, and bathroom wall. We only had 2 towels and wash cloths when we got to our room. There were 3 of us and we stayed for 4 nights so we needed more. The carpet was vacuumed but just looked really gross so we all wore socks and slippers to walk around the room in. Some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were lose and felt like the would crumble if you stepped wrong. The shower head looked really gross and rusty. Its an older, renovated hotel so I sort of understand some of these things (Ive worked a hotel before so I can understand why these things happen). But I was assured at check in that noone would enter our room during our stay due to covid. Imagine my surprise when I came back to our room on Thursday and find that someone had been in our room, moved all of our bags and stuff from the floor to the beds and cleaned the carpet. I was very upset that someone had touched all of our stuff. There was no notice that the carpets would be cleaned that day.Check out was normal. Dropped the keys off at the desk and told the guy our room number.
Check-in was a bit..., uncomfortable for a few moments.Breakfast made me feel like a burden as the managers actions seemed like she was upset with having to get it for us.Check-out was odd and uncomfortable, too. Once again was made to feel like a burden. The man did not utilize the computer at all to check us out. He asked for our room # and dropped keys on the counter. This wasnt wasnt cause of us feeling like a burden. (He had been mopping and seemed irritated that he had to quit so he could accept our room keys. He was not rude with his words but his actions.) I had to ask for a receipt and was told it would be emailed. Just over three hours later, I had to call and request that it be sent, as it still had not been. The only members that were genuinely pleased with having us were Samuel (met him one time when he helped me change the credit card on file) and a lady whose name started with T, I think. We never met her but she answered the phone once when I called before our stay and once after our stay. She was very friendly and courteous. The pool/jacuzzi/fitness center were all closed due to COVID-19. Breakfast was not the good sit-down/hot type. It was grab and go; however, the staff had to tell you what it was, ask what you wanted and hand it to you from across the counter.I was not recognized as a Radisons member.Despite all of this (we stayed one other time a few years ago and thats what brought us back this time.), well be back. It feels clean. No bed bugs were found. Generally, the staff are happy to have us, the food is great and the pool is open. It is in a great location, as well. It sits off a bit from a busy road so you arent overwhelmed with traffic.
We walked into our room and it was clear that it hadn’t been properly/thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was filthy, chips and crumbs behind the TV, mold inside the toilet, blood on the bottom side of the toilet and floor, dried up blood on the sheet and mattress cover, filth in the corners of the outside of tub, shower head moldy and corroded with strings hanging from it! Totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Save your money. You do not want to stay at this hotel. The room they checked me into had ripped furniture, a huge hole in the wall with torn base board trim. Burn marks on the carpet from an iron, The room was mildewed and stunk as if it had been closed up for months and the A/C barely worked. The maid who was cleaning on the floor said she hoped it was clean because that room was not on her cleaning list and she wasnt adding it if it wasnt.Sure enough, it was not clean. I went to the front desk to request another room and the customer service agent acted as if I was bothering her when I told of the condition of the room.Save yourself the hassle and grief and stay at the Fairfield Inn accross the street from this location if you are Brunswick. They know how to treat a customer and thier room are emmaculate.
Positive: Great location, restaurants conveniently nearby . Negative: I was given a first floor room, I then requested another floor but was told my rate wasn¿t eligible for another floor. Was told the breakfast hours were 6-8am but when I arrived at 7:15 there was nothing available, not even the lights were on.
The manager Loreita(sorry if I spelled it wrong) is absolutely amazing. She personalized the whole experience from check in to check out. The pool is down for maintenance for a couple weeks, but she made sure everything else about our stay was great. She also gave us a customer appreciation gift basket because though we had a few bumps, she said she appreciated our understanding. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great price.
Bed extremely uncomfortable. Room’s ceiling has spots like a leak happened and nothing was done to fix it. Soiled furniture and torn. No towels in room upon arrival. We asked for 3 towels. The mail adored how many people were in the room and only gave us 2 and the towels weren’t good quality. Disappointed.
Trash in hallways , a/c broken, TV broken, no towels available at all, no lights in pool area, fire sprinklers leaking in pool area (looked like a set for a horror movie). Also it was expensive.. I felt bad for the very nice lady working the desk alone. Wish I could attach some pictures
We were suppose to check in at 3pm. We got there at 6pm and the room was not ready yet. When we finally got into the room there was a pair of mens underwear on the bathroom floor, and the AC unit was full of mold. We needed more towels and toilet tissue. Everytime I went to the front desk no one was around. I waited and waited and no one came to the front desk. There was no grab and go breakfast like I was told on the phone. The coffee and hot water was luke warm. There was just the bare minimum that was needed in the room. The woman that checked us in at the front desk was friendly and did apologize that the room wasnt ready.
Super friendly staff! Clean nice room in an older hotel. We were given an upgraded suite since our room was not yet ready. Coffee and cookies on arrival. Pool was warmish on this cold day but the hot tub was perfect. Standard hot breakfast in the morning including fresh waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, breads, yogurt, powdered eggs, sausage, juices and milk. Excellent steakhouse across the parking lot.
We booked the whirlpool suite. The pool and hot tub were closed. The continental breakfast was only yogurt and milk. No one was ever at the desk, which we were at often due to issues with the hotel. I even went back to the room once to call the front desk since I couldnt find anyone. Unfortunately there is no room phone to call anyone. There were no towels/washclothes in the room. No TV remote either. The carpet was terribly stained. Sink was cracked and so were the tiles. There were cigarette burns on the tub and night stands.
We have been impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of this Hotel. Our trip to Brunswick is not for pleasure as most peoples, our mother is having surgery so having a clean place to sleep meant allot to us. The staff here absolutely knows how to use manners and I felt that they were genuine and not fake. Breakfast was delicious and kept well stocked. If I ever have to come back I will be staying in this Hotel. Well done guys you all deserve a huge pat on the back.
Positive: The clerk at the desk. She tried to accommodate complaints from numerous people. Rooms had no towels, so she was folding them as people came to the lobby for them. Negative: Dirty, dirty, dirty. Tired rooms with leather falling off the side of our desk chair, everything was scratched and scuffed. Will NEVER stay here again!
Advisory: this hotel brown bags your breakfast — we spoke to management, and they said they can’t reimburse us because as long as they offer us some form of breakfast they’re legally in the clear. There are other comments about cleanliness, I won’t speak much about it because I only review food, but just know that those comments above me are consistent with our experiences.
After the good reviews we read, we were very disappointed in our stay. We had to change rooms because the bed closest to the A/C had black flecks over the bed- most likely mold or something else as disgusting. TV reception was spotty. The bed was comfortable and had good pillows; however, there was a stain on one of the sheets. The refrigerator leaked also.We had to ask for our grab and go breakfast as nothing was out when we we left at 8:00 AM. All in all it was a below par experience.
The hotel was not a good experience for my husband and I. We rented this room to enjoy the jacuzzi inside however it was not clean when we arrived. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the water at the hotel smelled horrible. However the front desk staff were very welcoming. No I would not recommend this hotel.
Room had dirty fingerprints on Bathroom door, no grab bar(broken) or rubber mat in bathtub..no advertised breakfast,no coffee till 7:15 am. The bed was comfortable .It was quiet. It was not a a good value .We stayed in a Country Inn in Roanoke 15$ less , the night before.. It was very clean,,hot breakfast to go .we got the extra 15% off..
Our experience at Country Inn & Suites was amazing! Super attentive and friendly staff! Check-in was quick and hassle-free. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Complimentary cookies and coffee during the day were a nice extra treat. My only complaint is the pool and jacuzzi. They werent impressive, but that isnt what we came to enjoy. The room was clean and cozy. The bed slept really well.
We were greeted by Greg who by far was one of the nicest and most accommodating front desk rep I have ever met. Coming from a hotel that had a 4 star rating that should have been a 1 star rating we were frazzled. He calmed us and got us checked in. He suggested a great place to eat for dinner with night life and something other than just food. The next day we met Amber who was equally so helpful and nice. Gave us a late check out due to the weather and was very friendly. They both deserve a raise. I will stay here again and again.
I booked a room through booking.com and got a confirmation. When i showed up to stay, I was told my reservation had been canceled by the manager and they had nowhere to put me that would meet my needs. They had 1 dirty room available but not a room I could use. I was NEVER Notified of the cancelation!!!!! Worst hotel experience of my life
A queen suite is perfect for my family, the room was clean and neat, the beds were super comfy. The staff was super nice and helpful. My room was ready on arrival and its a short drive to both Jekyll island beaches and St.Simon beaches. You cant beat the price for comfort and location. I will be staying here again!
The staff here are amazing ! Very tamely , respectful, helpful ,high spirited, nice smiles all the way around our family will make this our new stop when we come to jekal Island .thank all of you amazing ladies Mr.Robbie Gold likes to make people smile too lol .best 1st time with almost all our kids still missing 3 kids 1 daughter in law and our 1st Grandbaby ..new Golds tradition.
We needed a room for a family of 6 and this one was available. Some of the reviews were negative, but I have found this hotel to be really lovely! Our room was neat and clean, nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially considering that the hotel randomly sold out in one night. Its a great location, right off of 95 if you are traveling and need a place to stay .The price is reasonable! And I love the lodge feel to the lobby and the stairs leading to the second floor. Coffee is free and available all the time. Free and easy to access Internet. I cant see any negatives!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! We checked in during the Covid -19 pandemic. We were assigned a room. The room had no heating/ac. The furniture was ripped and torn. The room smelled funky. And the phone in the room didnt work. We had to call the front office via our cell phone. The front desk person (who was very friendly) said there was nothing she could do because they did not have a maintenance person in the afternoon. She assigned us to another room right next door. In our 2nd room, the tv in the bedroom didnt work. Would not power on at all. Also, the closet door fell off of the hinges, almost hitting my husband in the head. He was able to get it back on after some work. Also, the hotel wasnt providing continental breakfast during this time but gave us a breakfast menu for a local business (also owned by the owners of this hotel). Guess what? We spent 20 minutes trying to reach out to this business, only to find out it was temporarily closed. I shared all of my issues with my stay with the staff and was given a wonderful Sorry!. We spent $140 on this room. Also, to top all of this off, our credit card was charged $57.50 for incidentals. What incidentals?? The pool is closed, the technology room is closed, the gym area is closed, and they arent serving any food. What could I possibly be charging during my stay? And, the icing on the cake: Ive been waiting 6 days now for this incidental charge to be dropped from my card. Im still waiting. Check out the other reviews to see that others have also been given rooms with no ac/heating. Dont waste your money here!! I will never go back again and I will be reaching out to the corporate office. I would have given it negative stars if that had been an option.Update: What I stated was fine were the two ladies who I thought were trying to help us. I understand that sometimes things happen outside of others control. It wasnt their personal faults our stay ended the way it did. I never said I would come back. Do you see the picture? Do you see the date in the bottom right corner? The charge was posted as a pending charge on 4-26. The date on the bottom right shows you today is 5-25 and my money is still being held by your hotel. I was told by my bank that your organization is holding it for 31 days. 31!!!! Not 5-10 business days as you stated. Ive stayed in plenty of hotels and have never had a hold for 31 days. It is extremely sad.
Customer service was nice, they rooms were clean, although the bathroom needs some upgrades in the shower and behind the door area. The hotel rooms included a mini refrigerator, 2 queen beds (in my room), pull out sofa bed, desk, several outlets, and the usual other accommodations. The hotel had an indoor pool, complimentary coffee and tea area, and complimentary breakfast (however one of the employees ended breakfast almost 45 mins early for no reason). The check in and check out process was smooth!! I have pictures, not sure why Google isnt displaying them to post.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming and professional. There is an indoor pool and a gym that remains open until midnight. Breakfast was very nice as there were both hot and cold items available. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available 24/7 in the lobby. We highly recommend this hotel and we plan to stay here the next time we visit Brunswick.
Excellent! Staff was friendly, super clean, lovely indoor heated pool, hot tub, and sauna (was unfortunately out of order when we were there.) The most comfortable hotel bed Ive ever slept in! Special little touches, like how the towels were folded and cookies at the front desk. And they had a fantastic continental breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh waffles, muffins, eggs, cereal, and more! Huge selection! We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight and will definitely stay again.
I travel down for a graduation. It a friendly environment with good staff. Its a training center nearby, so there may be students living there. Room are clean but old and dusty. The breakfast was ok until I saw their score. We went to McDonalds the next morning to eat breakfast 🤣. I dont think I would stay here again, just too old looking. The furniture in the lobby is old and torn. Its just not for me and my family.
I normally stay at this hotel every year when I drive to FL from NY. This will be my last time doing so. THEY GAVE ME A ROOM WITH SOMEONE ELSE INSIDE OF IT. Yes, during a pandemic and after 15 hours of driving, I walked into a room with a stranger inside of it.When I went to the front desk to tell them, they didnt seem very concerned at all. The housekeeper was standing in the lobby (she identified herself as such) and she wasnt wearing a mask. Her and the man at the front desk seemed incredibly apathetic/numb.Upon my request, I was given a new room which smelled strongly of fried food and the carpeting was stained and grungy looking. I tried to make do because I was so tired from the drive, but the lingering odor made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since the housekeeper had spoken to me in the lobby without a mask on. I just kept imaging her breathing on everything. I decided to leave and find a cleaner hotel.I dont know about other people, but I am nervous about traveling during this covid-19 crisis.. I expect my room to smell like Clorox, not fried chicken. And I definitely dont want to walk in on a stranger in their underpants ever again. And to think I was initially disappointed that they didnt have the waffle maker setup because of Covid hahaha. Oh god.
For the price we payed it was not good! Outdated, front desk was having awful time getting rooms right for everbody , the lady gave one couple a room only for them to come back down and say someone was staying in there and they were in the bathroom!! The bedspread had some nasty brown stains on it. It was also very stuffy in there also a funky smell. Breakfast was typical. Second time I’ve stayed at the country inn and definitely the LAST! Especially Not for no 140$!
2 star hotel? This place was amazing. Everything was new and clean. Everyone was extremely hospitable and helpful.Free cookies all day!! Clean pool, fitness center could use a pullup bar but everything works. Breakfast options were plentiful. One of the best stays Ive ever had anywhere.
Got a room here once before so my kids could go swimming. Turns out the pools wasnt operating right, and we were told once we were already in that we had to exit because it hasnt been cleaned properly. There was no sign or locks on the door and no one told us about the pool til afterward. Two of the kids ended up getting sick with strep. The wifi in the rooms is super weak. Had to take the kids to sit in the lobby just to be able to use a tablet or phone. The whole point of getting a room here was to give the kids a little break. Horrible experience and only hope to save others the time and money.
We were traveling through from Tennessee to Florida. We had been on the road for 12 hours. We purchase a room through Priceline express deal and got Holiday Inn next door. We were treated so badly at holiday inn that we didn’t stay. We came to the County Inn and was treated like family. Devin at the the front desk was so kind and helpful! He truly turned the night around. Our room was perfect fit for our family. Super clean. The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Every staff member we spoke to was very nice. We will definitely be staying here again!
My advice: stay here only if you have to. It is maybe 1 star better than Econo Lodge type of places. It has convenient location close to I-95 and it`s decent. but that`s it. poor service, not that clean, miserable breakfast (yes I understand COVID situation, but still you can get a fresh fruit, boy just some junk food).
While the location and overall cleanliness of the hotel was nice, our experience was not. Our check-in experience was wonderful, but things went downhill quickly. The staff was rude, and almost condescending. The maids were talking about the peoples rooms that they had been in, the front desk person looked down on everyone that came in the room or even asked a question, and the complimentary breakfast was anything but complimentary. The cereals were stale, The waffle station was a mess. The pastries were falling apart. The staff just didnt seem to care anything about the guests.
We booked SPECIFICALLY for the pool and breakfast. However, neither were available. Due to pandemic pool was closed and breakfast was yogurt, granola bar & muffin. Wish we were aware before booking. We could have booked someplace with accessible pool cheaper. The rooms were clean and odorfree.
This place was clean and decent. It did the job. We had a place to stay for one night with minimal complaint. You could tell the place is not brand new because of some rough spots and some cosmetic damage but it is easily good for one night. I will say the breakfast room was very small. The room which the food was laid out in was small and the choices were just slightly above basic. Things like yogurt oatmeal sausage eggs tortilla and Cold Cereal where they are. Of course they had the bread items so. Nothing bad but nothing to write home about.
The pictures should be enough to describe my opinion. I would never come to this location again and these cleaning practices, or rather lack thereof, really make me question not just this franchise but this whole chain as a brand. Especially just post pandemic, what part of any of this is even close to acceptable?!
We recently stayed at this hotel. We were in the area for business. The room was adequate. However, it appears the room temperature /air conditioner cannot be controlled by guests. One has access to the thermostat but, the room temperature does not change. The hotel is nearby stores, restaurants and SR 95. The breakfast had many options. My main concern with this hotel and the reason why I will not return is because someone stole a new shirt I left in the closet. I called the hotel twice (a few hours after I left). Each time , I was told they would look into it and call me back. They never did. I can only hope the person who took my shirt needed it more than I did.
Stayed a week for work, had roaches in the room, hotel desk workers were on the phone or talking about petty drama on the phone,”I unfollowed you bc you unfollowed me”. Direct quote. Miss Lorita and the young guy with glasses were amazing super helpful. White guy that was slightly balding intentionally lied about fresh towels not being clean when I could see them stacked in the back room through the open door had to use the same towel all week. WiFi didn’t work all week so I had to use my hotspot for work, and staff was unwilling to help resolve this. Also found a large cockroach in room after having room switched bc the air conditioning unit did not work. Stains on sheets, smelled of pot a few nights. After working 14 hour days in the sun would’ve just appreciated a little effort from the rest of the staff. Especially some of the night people who clearly would leave you waiting at the front desk until they felt like assisting you.
I shouldve read the reviews before I booked at this hotel. Everything everyone says is true. No pool, no breakfast, no bath towels, shower curtains dirty and rod hang off,..Noone answer the phone at the front desk. DIRTY IN AND OUT.!!!! Never again. I shouldve taken pictures and shared it to my social media.
ADA Complaint - First, to be very clear the staff is great. The ownership is very lacking in their knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The handicap room (310) is dangerous for disabled persons. The beds are no less than 36 inches high. The open shower is angled with no slip resistant material on the floor and there are not enough safety grab bars. A correction needs to be made. Beware!
Im really disappointed to have to give such a low review. Its entirely because the sauna is broken, and no notice was given. The pool is warmer than the jacuzzi, and half the jets dont work. We live in Brunswick and often book hotels on the weekend to enjoy an in town vacation. The amenities are what we book on. Im honestly hoping when we bring this up at checkout a discount will be offered for our stay, or we will not be back. Other than this it was wonderful. Clean, updated rooms. Very comfortable bed. Great shower and water pressure. Good breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.
We visited the area for our anniversary and booked the whirlpool suite for 3 nights. Very nice room... comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower, decent breakfast (waffles, fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes and more). Also all of the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Ive been to this property several times. It is the best value in Brunswick. Dont stay anywhere else! The staff is absolutely incredible. Its a three star rating but the FOH staff is 5 star!Rooms are immaculate. Beds are amazing. The suite is almost home away from home. The parking lot feels safe and is very well illuminated.Plan ahead, make a reservation. Its worth it!
WiFi- poor, loses connectivity constantly, speed poorPool- okay it’s indoors so no sunCleanliness- okay. Garbage was left in my room several times, a friend in another room came to find his room had not been touched (after being gone from 7am-5:30 pm). Workout room is poor. Business center computer constantly freezes. All safes were broken. Overall a poor experience the only upside was the staff, especially the front desk staff who were extremely polite and helpful
Loved staying there for the night. Eating spots are close and easy to get to, but their indoor pool and spa was almost too hot for my grandfather to breathe. Their air conditioning is also freezing and RIGHT next to one of the beds so I suggest turning it up or bundling up. Overall it was nice to stay there overnight.
I have to change 2 different rooms. first room was messy and dirty the bed did not even make properly sheet was all wrinkle and look disgusting. Second room was smelled like somebody’s sweat I couldn’t even stand it in 2mins. 3rd room was not smelled like 2 the others but no coffee or coffee cups poor quality of cleaning & lacking of disinfectant door handle & elevator. I will never come back here again def not worth 100$ I paid for
Disappointed. Suite is a misnomer, as there is no real separation between the two areas, and the TV is in the bedroom area, so one person cant stay up and watch TV while the other sleeps. That, along with the stain on the rug, only one coffee packet, no secured internet, and worn out clock radio, makes me wonder why I didnt give two stars.
It was ok. A lot smaller than expected for an executive suite. Its old also. Our sing clogged right away but they sent someone to fix it and the ac unit itself was crazy, only an option for off or on you cant change the temp and the unit itself is in the closet where the beds are and was very loud. The hallways on the 3rd floor feel like your in a sauna and no ice bucket. Other than that pretty good.
This is an average hotel with average service. After taking exit 38 on I95 S, you have to drive approx 0.4 miles left inside. There are other hotels though immediately after taking exit on the right.Like La Quinta and I think Hampton Inn.We were driving to Orlando from DC. Despite of booking this hotel in advance for a planned trip to Orlando. There was some goof up by the staff. Previous attendant had assigned our room to someone else with similar last name as mine. It took us half an hour to check in due to this.Samuel was helpful and he resolved issue.Bathroom fixtures are almost broken. Bathroom had molds in the corners.Breakfast is average. I dont think they refill . My kids wanted raisin bran cereal but it was finished even at 7am. And they did not refill. So overall this is average hotel for the amount you pay. Dont expect too much. Ok for a nights stay if you are on long road trip.
Hotel not as good as the photos online. It was run down and in need of repairs. The staff was very friendly and the sheets and towels were clean which is a plus but the bathroom needed cleaning better and the room was damaged in several places. My suggestion is stay across the street at the Comfort Suites. Its worth the extra $10 - $20 per night.
This place had a very nice pool and hot tub. The beds were fine. The staff was great. Some big problems however. Only ONE elevator and two luggage carts. The bathroom was ok except there WERENT ANY TOWEL BARS. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. There was a nice little coffee maker but NO FREE ELECTRICAL PLUGS TO PLUG IT IN! Wouldnt stay here again.
The first room we were give smelled like weed had a dead bug and tag from a shirt on the floor indicating it was not vaccuumed properly. We had to go and ask for another room. When we went back down there was no one at the check in counter. I said hello at least 6 times to get a response. It was only 5 or 6 in the evening, it wasnt like only one person was working. We finally got a new room which was decent and better than the first one for sure. The hotel lobby floors were wet from people at the pool and was not cleaned up in a timely manner. Wifi was free but barely accessible. Breakfast was sad. There was only one waffle maker and that was the only hot menu item. Other customers were inconsiderate and would make 6 waffles at a time, so most other people would give up and eat the other items.Overall I would say that this is a roof over your head. Nothing fancy and didnt feel too clean. If the price is low than maybe go, but otherwise I would pay more and go somewhere else. I will not be back.
The lady at the desk, Angela was a breath of fresh air. I did not book at the Sleep Inn hotel across the street because they would not let me see the specific room i wanted to book before checking in. So I went across the street to this hotel.I saw some nasty reviews and almost didnt go here based on this.So I made sure to check the room personally before committing and I was pleasantly surprised at the room and the fact that when I asked to see the room first, the clerk Angela said absolutely! and handed me the key.All they had were two more expensive suites left and I just needed a room. So they gave it to me for $10 more than the regular room rate and substantially Les than the suite rate. I did not ask for the discount, but I was very pleased. +1 for Carlson hotels and Country Inn for customer service.Only drawbacks were that the Internet was a little spotty. It worked and then it didnt ...then it did again. Also, it would be nice if the breakfast person would wipe down the tables more frequently during breakfast. Lots of dirty tables.
Was there for work, Mon-Fri. Reasonably priced, room was clean, breakfast was a standard (eggs, meat, starch, breads, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc) buffet style. My key did stop working every day -_- so that was annoying but other than that it was good. Be aware that this is a smaller hotel with smaller amenities, I was a little disappointed with the gym but wouldnt really expect it to be much bigger/have more equipment due to the overall size of the hotel.
Awesome place to stay. Rooms are very clean and staff is amazing. We pass many hotels to stay here, they are worth every penny. Our company received exceptional service from the front rep, Mari, she was very detailed and professional. We booked our next 2 stays in advanced.
When we got here we were told one price. When we got our receipt the next morning, it was $20 higher. When we inquired, she said that all was tax. My husband told her what he was quoted the night before and she gave him the excuse that she was new. (Obviously poorly trained then!). We had breakfast around 8:30 the next morning. They were already cleaning up. (It was advertised until 9:30). They were out of waffle mix, or so we were told. They were out of napkins. We were told to go to the front desk where she ripped off a piece of paper towel. Really! Room was clean, however it had not been vacuumed as there were little red things all over the floor. This was our first experience with this hotel chain, and it will be our last! Not impressed in the least! My one star rating is only because you cant rate it lower.
We have stayed two months ago. Everything fine except sauna was closed. During this stay, I see that the sauna is STILL closed. The pool is closed at dusk due to non-working lights. Breakfast out of eggs, sausage and biscuits thirty minutes before the close of breakfast. Waffle iron broken. The only thing I CAN have for breakfast is eggs and my children were counting on waffles. Not sure well stay here again.
Horrible hotel. Staff is hardly at the desk. Cracked bathrooms sink, moldy bath, rust everywhere, horrible smell in a room with some insects. Had to sleep on my bed wearing clothes, after noticing bugs. Avoid at any cost, any hotel nearby would be a safer and better choice
Let me start by saying we love Country Inn & Suites. It is our preferred Hotel whenever it is an option. We tried to stay at this location after a long day of driving. When we walked in, there were a half a dozen people in the lobby line and they were getting very frustrated with the poor girl who was working the desk. She was being very calm and patient but the guests were not. When it was our turn, we were getting ready to check in, with our license and card in hand. We decided to borrow a key and check the room before finishing checking in. We left our cards with her and told her to help the next guest.Unfortunately the room was filthy and full of bugs. So we politely wrote the issues down on a piece of paper and gave it to her discreetly so as not to alarm the other guests. She thanked us profusely and we told her we were going to go 30 minutes up the road to the next Country Inn & Suites in Kingsland. We got our ID and card back and we left. The next day, our card had been charged for staying at the hotel. We called to complain and get our money back and they said the manager was not there but that they would leave her a note and she would call us back immediately. She never called so we called again the next day. The same thing happened every single day for a week. 10 days later we finally got a manager to reverse the charge and they said it would take another week to get the money back. The whole thing was ridiculous considering we never even checked in, we never signed anything or actually took a reservation for the night. This was our only bad experience at a Country Inn & Suites. We still love them, but this location is horrible.

2022-02-20Perfect hotel to get some rest after 16 hours of driving! Front desk staff were friendly. Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable! There was a huge refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and safe in the room. The pool was small, but other than that a great amenity. The hotel is older so there are some signs of wear and tear. However, with hotel prices in the area over $250 a night for two queens, in hotels not much newer or fancier than here, paying $113 was a real bargain. The breakfast included was the same as many other hotels offer too! We were very pleased.

2022-06-22We’ve been staying here for years and have always been happy, but this will definitely be our last time. The good: 1: Every hotel staff member we encountered was so friendly. The bad: 1: They called to switch us to a smaller room the morning we were scheduled to arrive because “they had overbooked because they use 3rd party sites to book rooms and unfortunately that happens.” I said, “We can’t stay in a smaller room, but it sounds like I don’t have a choice.” Employee replied, “You have a choice. You can cancel your reservation.” Please note we had booked over a month in advance directly with the hotel. Manager finally called and gave us the room we originally booked, but that was extremely stressful. 2: Clean towels are extremely hard to come by. We were given old pool towels twice. 3: Definitely needs deep cleaning and updating 4: Tub sank down when you stepped in and felt unsafe. 5: Pool didn’t work for our entire stay. We were told they didn’t know what was going on with it and that they haven’t been told when it will be fixed. 6: Gym closed. 7: Roaches crawling on walls. 8: Housekeeping only comes every 3 days, therefore you have to go ask for towels and trashbags. 9: Room key quit working every single day and we had to go get new ones. We were told it was because they had not been setting them to stay active for more than one day at a time because some staff members don’t know how to do that. 10: Breakfast was very basic. It’s supposed to end at 10, but they just stop restocking it whenever they feel like it. We were never able to get waffles.I should also add, we were not the only unsatisfied guests. Our family was there to scatter my Dad’s ashes. We booked 6 rooms. We all had the same problems. We won’t be back.

2022-01-04Positive: The staff were very friendly. The internet was good. The beds were comfortable. Negative: The hotel was not very clean. There were no plates for the breakfast. I had to stuff my waffle in my bowl. The juice machine did not work either. I got the last towel as there were not enough towels in our room. We only had 2 towels for 4 of us.

2022-07-02Do not recommend this place. Only thing good was when we walked in room it smelled like bleach. So it had just been clean. But carpet was nasty, sticky. Breakfast was to last til 10:00, but girl was closing everything up at 9:30. Air conditioner had to be set to 64 to even get it a little cool in room. Tiles in bathroom were cracked and coming up. Sink had a big crack in. Breakfast that was offered was horrible. Even coffee was bad. Not really anything good to say about this place.

2022-04-24Nice staff. Website secured King suite with whirlpool tub and pull out couch. Told at check in that they don’t have that tub, so they assigned another room. Room did not have pull out bed. Assigned another room. No pull out bed. Finally got appropriate room- stinks so bad we had to get air freshener spray from the store. Carpets are gross. Beds aren’t terrible. Pillows are flat- thankfully we always bring our own. No spare bedding in room for pull out couch so had to go to front desk AGAIN. Cold enough to sleep comfortably. Toilet doesn’t flush well. Room phone doesn’t work. Nothing to hang towels on in bathroom. Ice machine on third floor doesn’t work. Next day returned to our room and key card doesn’t work so had to go back downstairs again. Breakfast pretty basic but decent, no bowls for cereal. No plug for tub, told maintenance would have to look for one but not sure how long it would take. Would definitely not stay here again if I could avoid it.

2022-05-293 towels given upon arrival. For the rest of our stay, we were told there were no more clean towels available. When we left, 4 staff were sitting by our car smoking and goofing around. One said, I need to go do laundry. Oh, you think?Thats not the only unprofessional staff we encountered. On Saturday, at 9am, we went down to breakfast to hear breakfast attendant proudly announcing, We are out of biscuits. We are out of bagels. Breakfast was supposed to run until 10:30. The next morning, my child wanted eggs. There were none out. I went up to discuss the hotel issues with the manager. During our discussion, someone asked her if she would like sausage and eggs. So, staff still had eggs, even when guests did not. A six year old child, at that.Additionlly, our sink was clogged; which we reported, but I guess staff was too busy smoking and playing around to help. Last, the Fitness center was closed during entire stay. I was told it was due to construction, but there was no construction taking place.Ultimately, we got $80 off, but that really doesnt cover it. We overpaid for this stay, and we will never stay in a Country Inn again based on this experience. I have not heard back from my customer service inquiry. As I mentioned in my formal complaint, I have never stayed in a hotel that didnt have clean laundry for 2 days. I would have preferred to know up front if they were unable to serve guests. We could have chosen another location.

2022-04-18Positive: The lady at the front desk who also was there for only what I can assume 18 plus hours a day. Who also makes the breakfast. She was so pleasant she was helpful. She was a gem. The breakfast was good also. Negative: The hotel needs some Attention. It is aging and the furniture has rips and stains. The shower curtain was ripped.

2022-06-02Upon check-in at the Hotel, our Bed linen was dirty. We noticed that the mattress pad was dirty but when the front desk staff came to change the mattress pad they found out that the sheets were also dirty. They had to mop the bathroom floor which was dirty. We found an adult diaper under the mattress and a used feminine napkin found under the TV stand. The carpet in the room was dirty and needed to be clean, our baby was crawling on the floor and her feet and hands were dirty. No clean Towels and wash rags in the hotel, they stated that housekeeping did not wash the laundry. Most of the staff were pleasant but there was 1 young lady that stated she was ready to walk off the job due to lack of staff to help cover shifts. She tried to take her frustration out on us.

2021-12-18Positive: Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The room was ready and the bottled water was nice. Negative: Did not receive my pre-scheduled wake up calls? Bathroom supplies were fine but, only one bath towel. Two would have been more appropriate since the room comprised of two queen beds.
