First, we found a dead cockroach in the dresser, then we realized a bag we had set on the floor was soaking wet. The carpet was soaked from an apparent leak somewhere. Our socks were filthy from walking around on the carpet. Wine or juice stain on the carpet as well. Exposed wiring in the bathroom (thank goodness it wasn’t low enough for my children to reach) and missing shower curtain top it off. Walls are all smugged and dirty, and the baseboards in the bathroom are caked in dust. We booked through Hotwire, and were told by the front desk that we would get a refund, but needed to contact Hotwire to initiate. The hotel denied Hotwire’s request. Do not stay here.
Positive: The location served us well for the trip we made. Negative: The bathroom cleanliness left a little to be desired. On the surface it was clean. When you set in the tub there was stuff growing at the bottom of the handicap bar on the bottom side. On the bottom side of the soap dish in the tub there was black s
Booked this room last minute traveling on the road, arrived around midnight. After settling into our room we took showers, tub wouldnt drain while taking showers and there was mildrew/mold in shower corners and thick amount of dust under bathroom sink. the beds also were not very comfortable but we were just stopping for a nights rest so we sucked it up. Overnight girl told us breakfast was until 10am but when we went down at 9:30ish we realized that info was incorrect it ended at 9:30 and the area looked like a tornado ran through there, that was the last straw. Before checking out i went down to show the front desk girl the photos of our room and she was extremely apologetic and we were giving a discount but I just wanted to make a review to let others know.
Positive: This hotel and the experience was completely disappointing. There was nothing positive other than they refunded me for both nights and we found another place to stay on night two. Negative: The hotel gave us a room that had been partially cleaned. The beds were half made and the bathroom was partially clean. We asked to be moved but they didn¿t have any other rooms. They tried to put us in rooms that had been fumigated and had no sheets.
Positive: Really friendly staff, and a clean, comfortable room. I was able to sleep and prepare for the rest of my road trip. Negative: The noise from neighboring rooms was really clear. Fortunately, I had my earplugs with me, so it didnt affect my ability to fall asleep.
Very overpriced, old and disappointing rooms (had to change from my original room after checking in), dirty and rusty A/C filter vents, the air conditioning is poor and there are only 2 small vents in the room (I would have preferred a window unit), gross carpet, stains on every piece of furniture and bedding, chipped desks and vanities. Housekeeping is non-existent and there are zero updates to this hotel which should be a huge priority for them to stay in business. The hot tub was too hot to even use.. Stay somewhere else, the pictures look way better than the actual hotel and its rooms.
Positive: It was close to the interstate. Negative: The bathroom was poorly maintained - there were I repaired holes in the walls, peeling paint, damaged flooring. Also, the thermostat didn¿t work, which made it really cold overnight. Not a great experience, and would not return.
This place was absolutely disgusting!! The bathroom looked like it hadnt been clean, the pillows were like a pillow made for a lil person, and there was a hand print on the entrance of the wall. There was a really bad musty smell when we came in. I will NEVER stay there again!!
Positive: Convenient to Savannah Hilton Head airport. Wendys across the street but nothing else within walking distance. Accommodated our schedule for an airport shuttle. Offered to fix us a to go breakfast since we needed to leave before breakfast was served Negative: Shower had some mold in caulking.
Positive: Inside pool Negative: Yes it was needles laying around the hotel. The room wasnt clean no towels rags or anything.. fridge didnt work hair dryer didnt work. I had to change the sheets myself. I booked a room with 2 TV an when I got there they said I didnt. Staff stole stuf
When we got to our room the door was ajar which is very unusual & then we found that the bathroom door handle was broken stayed in the room because it was late & we had been driving all day. This morning breakfast was to start at 6 am went down to get coffee noone at front desk & no breakfast apparently someone didnt show up for work we had to go out of our way to find coffee and got on the road late for another long drive.
Positive: The location and access to shopping and restaurants. Negative: Poor service due to multiple employees didn¿t show for work. Room was not ready when arrived. Was told to wait about 30 minutes. When returned 50 minutes later, the room still not ready. So I was given a smaller room. Check in was to be at 3:00 pm.
Positive: Staff were nice Negative: It is run down and smells weird. Halls were extremely warm. Lobby furniture looks like college dorm. For the money people are paying, it needs upgrades. Even some letters in the word Radisson on the side of the building dont work. Disappointing overall
Do. Not. Book. Here. This place is listed as a 3-star hotel? Impossible, with filthy carpeting from a Quentin Tarantino movie, a computer system that blacked out after it rained, and air conditioning units that look like they start with a crank. The only redeeming quality is the front desk staff. They were great.
Positive: I didn¿t like anything about the hotel. This is one of the 5 worst hotels I¿ve stayed at in my life (out of thousands). Large stains on carpet, hasn¿t been upgraded since the Carter administration. Staff gave my room away before I arrived. Negative: This is one of the 5 worst hotels I¿ve stayed at in my life. Large stains on carpet, hasn¿t been upgraded since the Carter administration. Staff gave my room away before I arrived and gave some absurd reason. I wish I could leave pictures (which I t
Room was clean but shower curtain was bunched up wrapped around support handle, when I unwrapped it in the morning it was still wet on the inside. Breakfast consisted of frozen bfast sandwiches you had to heat in microwave. Only banana for fruit. Did have cereal and milk, no toast but bagels.
Just one broken thing after another, mold in A/C units coffee makers are dirty and gross place is a mess...young lady at the front desk trying to make things better but the hotel itself is defeating her, she is doing her best and going out of her way changed our room three times ...just a very bad experience and a bad way to spend my anniversary Vacation with my wife at a hotel that is a nasty mess and the breakfast is a joke...just a mess have 4 more nights here...have no way of getting out of the reservation with out loosing money...stay away from this place
Faith was a little dry at first but was very friendly and helpful. That night I needed more towel and I forgot her name but her attitude was great and she helped me out. The manager that got off around three was friendly and very helpful. Friendly staff all over the hotel.
Hotel itself looks nice in the outside but the inside needs work. The window didnt have a curtain or shade to block out light. The pillows sucked. The whole second floor smelled like sewage. The stay was ok but there are so many other hotels in the area. Id choose a different one next time.
This hotel has the worst room. It was dirty. The room did not smell fresh. It had a desk chair full of stains. The carpet was stained and dirty. There were no face towels in the bathroom. The beds were lumpy and one bed had a dip in the middle. The furniture was dusty. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone.
Two stars is literally only because the front desk service when we checked in late at night was fantastic. The rest- not so much. Room was dusty, bathroom wasn’t very clean at all and Better yet, certain ‘bodily hairs’ were left next to the shower from the last (hopefully none before that) occupants of the room. All and all, glad for the service but extremely disappointed with our room and the rest of our stay, likely with zero resolution from this hotel I’m sure.
Clean and great staff! Great for a quick stop over. There was 10 of us and they did a great job taking care of us. Quick checkin, especially when we were exhausted. Breakfast was great and area was constantly getting cleaned, guest safety was a priority for the staff!
Very dated. The lobby and dining area was nice and cozy, however the room was extremely due for a makeover. All the furniture was dated and old; from the desk, to the carpet, to the drapes, and nightstand. The toiletries consisted of hand soap, shampoo conditioner, and lotion. No shower cap, or rinse cup. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out sofa, and there was no ironing board. Coming in the lobby last night (3/13) the desk clerk was taking out her braids!!!!! There was no grab and go breakfast this morning, only coffee. I gave it 2 stars only for the convenient location to the outlet mall and the airport.
We enjoyed our stay here so much. Denise and Terriana were so welcoming and friendly. The minute we walked in they were bubbly and sweet. The rooms were excellent and beds very comfortable. Denise greeted us in the morning with a big smile. She put up with our high maintenance picky eaters and made sure we had plenty to eat. I travel A LOT and Denise and Terriana need to be commended for their great service by the company. Unfortunately it is rare!
I have stayed with this brand in the past in other locations and I chose to stay at this one after reading some of the reviews for neighboring hotels. From the exterior this hotel is highly presentable and appealing. The lobby is modern and attractive. The front desk service is friendly and helpful and I was really looking forward to a great experience. As I walked through the hotel to my room I noticed some things that made me shake my head. The elevator is in need of some TLC and updating. The carpet in the halls and the rooms needs to be freshened up or replaced. The window treatments are uninviting and rather cheap looking. The bed is a highlight of the room, very comfortable and not too firm (some hotel mattresses leave you thinking youve taken a trip to the local morgue). The bathroom was spacious but again could use a refresher (my overhead light was out but thankfully the light over the mirror was bright enough to illuminate the entire room). This hotel also lacks adequate parking spaces as while I was there several vehicles with pull behind trailers occupied almost have of the usable spaces. For the location to but the interstate and the airport this hotel needs a like sprucing up and it would be able to be the desired destination for those looking to spend the night outside of downtown Savannah.
Stayed for 2 nights for the 4th of July weekend and was very pleased with the stay.I booked the room a few weeks before arrival and made an error when booking which room I wanted and the staff was incredibly patient and helpful in resolving the issue when I arrived despite the limited availability of rooms at that time. The room and bathroom was very clean. The room came with wifi which I found was decently fast and a t.v which offered quite a few decent stations to choose from. The hotel offered an indoor hot tub and an indoor pool which were an enjoyable feature to end the nights with.Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
Positive: Location fine for travel onward as well as getting into downtown Savannah if you want. Bed is OK. Negative: Old, chipped paint, fraying upholstery, thin walls so theres lots of noise from surrounding rooms. Few TV channels. Very few breakfast choices. Not good value for the money - there are four other hotels right next to it that might be better value.
Positive: The front office staff were very professional and knowledgeable. The room needs work!!! Paint pealing in the bathroom, dark lighting, dated and stained flooring, used bar soap was left in the shower. Sink had toothpaste in it. The room felt old and used. Negative: Needs a remodel
If you only listen to one review listen to this one.Dirty and ripped furniture and sheets. If you look at the pictures you can see all the stains on the rug.was wondering why all hotels around us were packed and ours was empty now I know. Lobby was nice and staff was very nice. Owner should be ashamed of rooms. Couldnt pay me enough to stay here again
We were supposed to stay at this hotel on July 4th. We had to end our trip early due to an emergency back home.We called the hotel to see about a partial refund and we were told that it would be no issues for a full refund and it would be processed the next day, Monday 7/5/21 and that we would receive an email with confirmation. (It was processed out of the bank on 7/4 of $195.98 - after being told the total was $157.00).On Monday, we never received an email. Called on Wed, 7/7 and was informed it would take days to process but only management could confirm if it was being processed and no management was in the office to call back the next day.We figured we would wait the 4-5 day processing (which would have been Friday the 10th) to see if we got a refund and nothing was pending back into the account.Called Monday, 7/12 and spoke to Melony again and she said that she could not see anything that I would need to speak to a manager. She immediately called my husband and left a voicemail saying it was processed and he would receive an email confirmation -- again, no email.Called Tuesday, 7/13 to inform of no email and she said that we would need to speak to manager, L.E tomorrow but he only works 11-2. Called at 11AM today, 7/15 and she said that the manager was on vacation to call back on Monday but she does not see that we were charged nor did we ever have a reservation.
Positive: The front desk staff were very friendly. Negative: Our room was filthy¿ cheese-its crackers all over the floor and what looked like soda dripping down the walls. I didn¿t even want to walk around bare footed. Also there was a fog horn sound outside that started at 3:00am and never stopped.
I would leave 0 stars if I could.AWFUL customer service. My family and I were supposed to check in TONIGHT. we booked our room this past Monday or Tuesday. Apparently there was an issue with our credit card that we were unaware of. It took LESS THAN 2 MINUTES for us to resolve our credit card issue. Once the issue was resolved, I called the hotel to tell them about the mix up and asked them to process it again. I was rudely told that “we tried to process your card an hour ago and it didn’t go through so we cancelled the reservation”. No one called to tell us our card didn’t go through. We only noticed when my cell phone sent me a notification. We weren’t given the opportunity to process another payment. They just cancelled our stay. Now my self, my grandmother, and 2 small kids are having to search for another hotel in the area. We normally LOVE the country inn here in savannah and the one at 95 as well, but never again will we stay. With your company.
The daytime front desk girl was not very customer friendly. The overnight girl was amazing though. My room wasnt ready despite the facts that it was past check-in time and my reservation was booked a month ahead. Housekeeping did a rush job cleaning and missed a couple spots. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi would have been a plus but the pool was ice cold, the Jacuzzi was extremely too hot, and the jets didnt work :(
The room is nice and cozy. A little upset with overnight person. I understand at 3:30 in the morning you do not make coffee downstairs but when I asked you if you made any coffee yet you could have said something more than no. It would have been excellent customer service if you would have said that you would be glad to make some. She finally made it at 5am. I realize that coffee pots are in the room but there are not enough cream and sugar and I would rather go downstairs in the lobby and get fresh coffee and condiments already ready. I guess my idea of hospitality is different from hers.
Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in my life beaten up by some kind of bug don’t know if it was fleas, chiggers, or bedbugs the room was filthy we had to ask clean sheets and we changed or south. The front desk clerk was the sweetest most accommodating lady and apologized over and over for the inconvenience. But would never ever recommend this place or stay there ever again. Again.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and maintained. the only problem I had was at the buisness center. The internet is running of of a wireless connection and it goes in and out. Not good if you need it in a pinch. I know now people have their own laptops and devices. This was a quick trip for me and left mine at home. Oh and I know this is different for each person but the bed and pillows where to hard.
Very disappointed. The first room we were assigned had dirt and hair in the sheets, and sticky stuff on the desk (clearly not cleaned). The second room, ROOM 206, the TV was broken, the phone was broken and there was some sort of beverage spilt on the walls. They wanted to switch me a 3rd time but instead of risking it and getting another room, she canceled my reservation and promised a refund - which still isnt in my account. We left and stayed at the holiday Inn instead. 9 keep calling but no one will answer. I better get my money refunded or I am going to have some big issues with corporate. TL:DR STAY VERY FAR AWAY
I very RARELY write reviews, but this one had to be done!Extremely disappointed in this place. We arrived to check in at 2:40pm but since check in is not until 3pm, they will not even check to see if there was anything available. Ok no biggie, we wait. When I go to check in at 3pm... the manager runs from the front desk to EACH floor to see what rooms are clean and ready. Meanwhile, a line of 7 groups are just waiting for her to come back with the list of rooms before we can even check in.Next, the girl checks me in, takes a while, gives me my key cards and we go to the room to drop off our stuff. We leave for dinner and when we come back, our room key does NOT work. Im on the 3rd floor, go down to the office and tell them and she says if I am sure I have the correct room (repeatedly). I even show her the card that has the room number written on it and she said that the system says we checked out! What?????? Our stuff is all in the room and we are not in the system??? After several attempts up and down from the 3rd floor to the office, the other lady finally says that they gave me the wrong key to a different room. If its the wrong key, how were we able to enter with the key card initially?? Such a mess.... luckily she fixed our room in the system, and we were able to go back in with our stuff inside. We went to get ice and the key card does NOT work AGAIN!!!! I am so fed up.... after driving 10 hours to deal with this mess. They said to not put the key card near our cell phones because it de-magnetizes.... Again.... WHAT???Anyway, the bed was ok (too soft for my back, but ok - no biggie). Ready to check out and when I come down for breakfast (breakfast dining was closed due to COVID, which we were aware of at check in) but we were given a bag with a water bottle, apple and granola bar. RIP OFF.... I pay $250 for 1 night and get a sack breakfast.FYI..... N.O.T. W.O.R.T.H. I.T.Dont stay here, 1 chair by the pool so if there is several people there, you can not sit to hang out because there is ONLY 1 CHAIR and NO TABLES, NONE, ZILCH, NADA.This was a rip off..... sorry.
Room was old, dirty with stained carpet, chair, and ottoman. Bathroom had an old moldy tub, rusted door frame, no toilet roll holder, towel rack falling off, and water dripping from the ceiling above the shower head while taking a shower. Cant believe the hotel is still being offered. Needs refurbishing!
Positive: Absolutely nothing . Negative: This is one of the nastiest hotels I¿ve ever stayed. Sent to a room that hadn¿t been touched by housekeeping at 7pm. Old. Decrepit, Disrepair. Checked out in the morning, next day found my credit card charged twice for the room. Manager took care of
I checked in 3/05/21 with my children around 11pm. While inspecting room, not even 5 minutes later, we found standing dust on headboards, pictures, lamp shades, coffee pot, etc. Also, a bed bug was found crawling on the sofa bed pillow. I made front desk and manager aware of the incident that night. No one offered an apology or anything until the next day when I brought it Danielles attention. As an employee of a Country Inn & Suites (Morrisville, NC) I am appalled that this location is able to be affiliated with Radisson Hotels. This location lacks customer service, hospitality, cleanliness, and class. There are so many options near this location. Thank God, Holiday Inn Express, had the room type I needed available so late at night. Ill add that Thomas, the manager, hasnt reached out to me. I will be contacting corporate as well as the Franchise dept. first thing in the morning. I edited my comment to jog your memory!!
I will say the hotel is pretty nice but one of the staff members that I dealt with was extremely rude. I was double charged for a night after some misunderstanding and the lady at the front desk was rude. Cutting me off before I could finish speaking on the situation. Its a shame because I come here weekly from out of town and they just lost my business.
ROACHES!!!I checked in late on 8/7/2021. The chairs were stained and outdated. I believe the location was rated as 3 stars. It is not a 3 star facility. I was drawn to the amenities but finding a roach in the bed cancelled all of that out.Yes a roach!!!I have video of the roach crawling in the bed and in the pillows. The only thing worst than finding a roach was the lack of shock when I mentioned the roach. I spoke to the night manager and I had to call back the next day to speak to the regular manager. I asked for and was given a refund except for $5. For some reason finding a roach and having to secure accommodations at 3am is not enough for a full refund. I guess I could have gotten a full refund if I had slept there and recorded the roach crawling on me or if I had developed an infection. Would not recommend this location for anything.
We waited in the reception area to check in for over 20 minutes while holding our bags, and teenagers were lounging in the entrance area. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were non existant. There were no blankets, only sheets. The curtains would not close. Sign said Hot breakfast...but was given cereal and a muffin due to COVID regulations...change your signs then! We were given a room that had a door to next random persons room who decided to yell and scream at the very early hours of the morning (who knows what they were doing!) The shampoos and conditioner smelled awful too! This was the worst Country Inn & Suites Ive ever stayed in, theyre usually my first choice. We did not sleep at all after a long day of traveling. I hate writing bad reviews...but this was a bad experience for us!
Positive: Location Negative: It was disgusting in the bathroom. I have photos to show how much scum I cleaned out of tub with dry cloth then gal at desk found some cleaner for me since she did not think there was another room available I will be contacting Radisson Inn
We got in very late. My grandkids were exhausted and I was too. The front desk clerk who chkd us in gave us our room, my son and grandkids took our stuff to the room to find a man laying in our room! Scared them to death so they were nervous the rest of the trip. Breakfast served in sacks. I know covid is bad but....
This hotel need help and its not just with the upkeep. Im maintenance engineer at a Country Inn and Suites so I dont complain because I know things happen. This hotel lobby, first floor and pool area was so hot that not only did the front desk attendant had to have a fan but it was so hot that the floor sweated. The pool area was 102°according to my thermometer. You can hear people in the next room. the thermostat in my room didnt work and there was no ice machine on the floors. All this could have been looked over and everyone could have enjoyed themselves had managment had just listened to the guest. General manager Thomas Kaighin had the pleasure of hearing the complaints but his rudeness and compassionate attitude made our stay even more unpleasant. Their customer service skills need serious help. The problems with the building could have been looked over but the bad customer service made the issue even worse.
I purchased a one night stay for a disabled lady that needed to get out of the storm on Thursday, March 18th. It was predicted that there would be major winds and possible tornadoes. This particular lady had nowhere else to go for the evening. A sweet young lady named Chyna was behind the front desk of Country Inn and Suites that day. She allowed early check in; to make sure the client was safe from the storm. Check in was stated to be 3 pm but we were allowed to check her in at 130 pm right before the storm. Tornado sirens went off that day but thankfully nothing happened. However, Im very appreciative to Chyna for her kindness. Many blessings to you...
We stayed here October 17, 2020 and were not happy. The shower was not clean and looked like somebody wiped a bloody finger across the bathroom door. Most people inside did not wear a mask in the lobby or elevator and was not enforced. We stayed in 4 different Country Inn and Suites from Virginia to Florida and this one was by far the worst for cleanliness and was the most expensive of them all.
I am a registered nurse I came to this Motel because they said theyre discounted rooms for First Responders and registered nurses I still ended up with an $85 room. I also arrived from New York around 9 or so and had driven 15 hours. When I got to the room it was no remote control I called the front desk she brought me a brand new remote control in the package handed it to me and informed me that there were directions in the Box. So I thought it was odd but I continue to try to set the remote up for about another 15 minutes until I was ready to explode. At that time I called the front desk said that the remote would not work with the TV the front desk attendant. Came into the room and tried for another 30 minutes. At that point I was so exhausted and my frustration level is so high I just told her please just forget it Im exhausted and want to sleep. After driving all night and being a nurse and exhausted and just wanting a quiet night with a remote control to watch a little TV until my exhausted body fell asleep. Needless to say that didnt happen and my level of frustration and disappointed ended up keeping me up most the night. The ram was average a little odor in the room. Overall very disappointed.
Girlfriends weekend...Three comfortable nights in a clean room. Housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. Only 3 floors, but no complaints. Very quiet, hot water nice size bathrooms, soft and firm pillows. Complimentary breakfast was very good. We didnt have kids with us, but I noticed the other guests with kids were very thankful for the various items on the breakfast buffet.
My husband and I stayed here from Aug. 13-15th, 2020. From the time we checked in the staff was excellent. The young lady at the desk made sure that we had extra towels for the pool and condiments for our coffee. Our suite was clean and very cold when we checked in. 😊 I will stay here next visit.
The beds are soft, but someone used my bath tub to dump out coffee and didnt clean it up. The hotel needs a new maintenance cheif. Hallways and room carpets have not been cleaned in years. HVAC in rooms have not been clean on a Qt basics. If I was the hotel General Manager I would start looking through my staffs PMs and work orders and going behind them doing an audit. On a good note. Front desk employees are great.
We only stayed one short night due to American Airlines incompetence, but the hotel was nice. The room was large, with plenty of seating and a large desk. The main feature we used was the shuttle, which was free. It was nice to get picked up and then to the airport without having to Uber. As a bonus, the shuttle also took us to the restaurant that was across the highway, which was great. We were up too early to enjoy the breakfast, but free breakfast is provided.
Staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.Rooms are clean, nice, and quiet.Breakfast was better than most hotels of this caliber. And a big plus.. they offer a courtesy van to take you out wherever you want to go and pick you up (take the van and tip your driver. It’s cheaper than a dui and could save lives)
We were treated horribly by the manager and charged a pet fee, for our registered service dog, on our credit card without being advised there would even be a pet fee. The manager was very rude! The rooms were very dated. The bathtub drain would not even go down. Disgusting!!!
The manager Thomas Kaighin was very uncaring when we complained about our stay. He appeared unbothered and made no attempts to settle our concerns. Entry way to hotel extremely hot. Pool area extremely hot, like a sauna. Hotel ran out of towels at the pool area, but substituted wash clothes, really! No hot breakfast, only pointed out nearby restaurants. Thermostat went out in our room. No ice machine on the 3rd floor, only the 1st floor. We will never stay here again, not even for free!!
I just finished a five night stay at this hotel and did encounter some problems/issues. Upon arrival, I found out that my reservation had been cancelled by someone else who didn’t have my credit card information and the hotel allowed that to happen. Thankfully there were five available rooms, so we were able to stay at the hotel in which the rest of our group was staying for convenience. Since my reservation was cancelled, I did not get the rate that my initial reservation was for and had to pay $175 more. The people at the front desk were nice, but not budging on charging me the original rate even though, my reservation was cancelled by an unauthorized person. I went back down the next morning to talk to someone else and be a little more forceful and I was told that I would receive the initial rate and a reimbursement would be put on my card by Thursday. Thursday evening I went down to see why the reimbursement was not on my card and they then told me that I would not receive it until next week. Of course that is after I am home and fourteen hours away and have to depend upon them to reimburse me. I’m currently waiting to see if that is going to happen. Our groups’ rooms were not cleaned and beds and towels not made or replenished. My mother-in-law had to ask for towels and for our room to be cleaned multiple times. Some of our party had their own pillow or blanket left laying on the bed and the housekeepers left notes saying that they would not make the bed because personal items were on the bed, but the day before they did in fact make their bed. The toilet paper roll was removed for our room one day and the rod was left laying on the counter. After going downstairs to get toilet paper and waiting for fifteen minutes for someone to come to the front desk it was very frustrating. Apparently the person working the front desk also runs the shuttle to and from the airport. The front desk staff was very nice, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is dingy and dirty, the carpet is so sticky feeling and stained that we wore our shoes to not have to walk on it. The housekeeping is subpar and being over charged because the hotel allowed someone else to cancel your reservation is just insanity. I feel like they should have offered an even deeper discount than my original rate due to the fact that they allowed this to happen.Update to the hotel’s response:It is simply untrue that I booked through a third party site and the rate that I booked is the rate that I should have received and was eventually charged (one week later). If you quoted me a certain rate initially, that is what is expected to be charged per night. I called the hotel directly and booked the room and held it with my credit card. We love to travel and I’ve stayed in Country Inn and Suites before and this stay was very disappointing and now lying certainly isn’t helping the image of the brand.
We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites near the Savannah Airport. We came here on vacation from a really small town in Wisconsin, so we didnt know the area well, or what the other hotels in the area are like, but as soon as we walked in we knew that staying here was a great choice. The lobby is very modern and neat. The staff are all nice and ask how youre doing. We rented the room with the separate living room and bedroom. It was worth it! It feels more like a small apartment. I think theyre remodeling the rooms around us right now, so I cant say what the other rooms are like. Ours seems nice, though. There is a TV in both rooms, which is nice for a family with kids. The pool is pretty chilly, but the hot tub is nice and warm! The location is great. We were worried we would hear airplanes being so close to the airport, but we cant hear anything in the room. It always smells wonderful everywhere we walk throughout the hotel!
Stayed for one night and despite booking last minute, I am displeased with the stay. The hotel needs a renovation ASAP.The carpets in and out of the rooms appear dingy, the toilet in our room sounded like it would swallow everyone in the room. The bathroom door handle was loose and there were stains on the mattresses.Certainly didnt meet our expectations
This hotel was horrible, the room was nasty. Looks like a roach motel. The front desk ladies on the day shift were very sweet and nice. They made the hotel stay better. Walls were filthy had to request a vacuum. Furniture in the room was terrible. The prices that they charge are not worth it. The room door would not lock. It was unsafe. Night clerk was horrible she was on the phone and outside smoking.
This place is a total dump. Outside of the smell the staff are just as bad. Very unprofessional and had to wait for them to update personal social media pages before helping me with no hot water. I travel weekly all around the county and this is by far one of the worse places I’ve ever stayed. Never againI ended up leaving the hotel early for a multitude of reasons. Hotel is so dated, smelly, old, and smells horrrible.I have left two messages the same day, and then a new message the following day asking for a manager to call. Its been 5 days without a response from anyone of your team. I see why your have over 100 negative reviews from your location. Sad business
We arrive at 8 oclock and did not get our two small children settled into our room until almost midnight. The room we booked was horrible. Everything was dusty, the phone was not even plugged in, the office chair was nasty with crumbs, one of the lamp shades had brown nastiness (for lack of a better word), the carpet had spots, the fidge was dirty with crumbs on top and shelf had fallen off (we had to fix). This is my husbands birthday and our 1st family trip to Savannah and that alone made me say I dont want to come back. The front desk clerk (Kawaka) was very apologeticand tried her best to make it right. She transferredus to the last available roomand is trying to talk to mgt. about a refund. I would NEVER STAY here again. We slept 4 to a bed and the mattress was not the usual hotel quality that Im use to. My back hurts and Im very disappointed. Although there was a sleeper sofa up front, my husband wasnt comfortable having ur children sleep by the door we were in the back. We are headed to talk with her now and to breakfast in hopes that they will do more. Im praying that his birthday weekend turns around. I would have pictures but my phone was about to die. I wouldnt give it ANY stars at all, if I was able to.
I was surprised at the quality of the rooms, they were very nice and comfortable. I was concerned about the location being close to the Savannah Airport. It was very quiet and did not hear any airplanes leaving or arriving. The price was good and it is just across I-95 from the Tanger Outlet stores. There are numerous restaurants in the area and it sets back far enough off the highway to feel somewhat isolated from all the activity in the area. I did not pick the location our company did. However, I was very pleased and would stay there again.
Two things were wrong... 1. The AC unit was all jacked up. It would either be freezing cold or blazing hot... much like a typical day/night cycle in the desert. 2. There was a door bell button installed beside our room that would trigger an alarming and shrill beep. I do not know the purpose of its existence, or why it was connected to my room... directly across from the elevator... just begging to be pressed by curious fingers. Other than that, I dont have any complaints. The staff was great and everything was clean.
Cons-Paint peeling off the walls. Something black/gray in bottom of tub. Bedding had an old smell. Hard mattress. Worn carpet. Fridge was missing part for freezer section. Whole room needed redone. Pros-Nice room arrangement. Nice big bathroom countertop with room for lots of toiletries. Good breakfast especially the oatmeal and sausage gravy with biscuits. Needs refurbishing.
They overbooked and didnt notifying me prior to my arrival. Customer service closed at 10pm.The 2 stars is because there was someone who at least tried. If I could rate her solely there wouldnt be enough stars. However, everyone was booked. Came to work Rideshare for the big weekend and took a huge loss. Not to mention having to drive the 2+hours each way
The hotel was very nice and kept up well. We stayed for 2 nights and the bed was comfortable. The elevator was soooo slow. Breakfast was typical for hotel breakfast. The apples they had out were old but the bananas were fine. Very clean hotel we would go back again and stay.
Employees were veryfriendly and helpful. Public areas were very clean, warm cookies were a pleasat surprise. Hot tub was warm, pool was clean. The room was old looking. Sofabead was broken so couldmxt use as a bed or sofa. Unfotunately the room had mold growing out of the vent and is starting at other vulnerable spots. Avoid room 220.
Not terrible, but the pool was closed all day for some reason the while I was there, half the reason I booked this hotel was for the hot tub. They should let you know in advance it won’t be available.Huge bug in my room when I arrived and the hallways smell like puke in the morning from breakfast.
The reason why I rated the hotel so low is because the customer service at the front desk really sucks. I booked this for my birthday it was a gift from my husband. When I walk into the your hotel to check in your front desk clerk told me that she is not able to check me in right now and to go over to the Tanger Outlet and come back at 2pm Ive had three back surgeries and two knee surgeries and walking around is not an easy feat for me. I explain to her I received email stating that theyre not able to accommodate me coming in at 11am but they would be able to check me in at 12 noon. Your bathroom had mold in the shower. And the biggest kicker with the cherry on the top is when your evening front desk clerk started making advances on my husband flirting with
Stayed here in the past when hotel was newer. Now it is pretty shabby and needs some updating. Hotel is known for its cookies, only saw one cookie the whole time we were there. Breakfast room was large, but tables were not arranged very well. There was a desk chair in the room, and the other chair was a straight back type, not very comfortable after a long day on the road. Room needed some brighter lights also. Next time we will choose one of the newer hotels nearby.
It was the cheapest of the airport hotels clustered at the location (tied with the Comfort Inn). The room was a bit stuffy, and the alarm clock was broken, but otherwise it was exactly what you would expect from any hotel in this class. The breakfast was disappointing. Why dont hotels advertise their breakfast menus? Because then people would know not to stay here. Also be aware that this hotel caters to large tour groups, which creates a slightly less pleasant experience in the lobby and at breakfast than with just a mix of families and travelers. On the plus side, the shuttle service to the airport was very convenient.
Not worth the money, check in around 10pm from a long trip and we got a dirty room, trash can were not emptied, theres some hair on the bed when we spread the sheet. Bathroom tiles are broken that almost cut my kids foot. The drainage from tub is drains very slow. The pool is so dirty and there is a little froggy on the spa. Employees at the breakfast area are very friendly. I would not recommend this to anybody. Theres more hotels that you might wanna check around this hotel.
After reading other reviews I was kind of skeptical about staying here, but to my surprise this hotel was Awesome!! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and I was truly SATISFIED!!! The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast wasnt so great so we chose to eat at the Waffle House(which was nearby). Great location!!! We would definitely stay here again!!!!!
Discount Price online was not available at desk even though the country inn website showed the same price. Clerk said room was unavailable and they would not honor the advertised rate on another. Desk clerk also didn’t let me finish my sentence before interrupting me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. I had a far better experience with the Holiday Inn
The staff is polite and courteous professional made us feel at home they didnt have a full breakfast but they still offered take away items you could take your room and eat The rooms were clean and well capital along with the whole facility would definitely stay here again lakeisha was so nice to deal with
9/7: Seemed like beautiful facility until we entered the room. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned the best, but I shrugged it off. After sitting in the bed for some time, I see a little bug crawl next to me. We then flipped the pillow over to find more bugs of different sizes. The receptionist tried to offer a new room, but there’s no way we could stay there. Very disappointed!
During a pandemic this is not a clean place. There was food in the fridge dust all over base boards doors lampshades trays for coffee pot dirty toilet hair in tub. Luckily I had my own cleaning products except a vacuum and I was charged 92.00 with tax I felt like I was at motel 6. These people should be ashamed of themselves during this pandemic. Really gross and unhealthy
We arrived at the hotel around 10pm on a Thursday for a one night stay and our room was smokey smelling. The staff did a great job getting us moved to a more satisfactory room without charging us the upgrade to a suite (since there were no other double queen bed rooms left.) I will stay here again.
Love this hotel....... this is my second time staying in this hotel. Very Kid Friendly. My kids actually requested for this hotel. We stayed here during my their Spring Break. The indoor Pool /Jacuzzi was a plus for the kids. We had late swimming time. Their breakfast was great too. Overall stay...was great!. The staff made sure that you get your request. Keep up the good work. Excellent stay!.
We ended up staying here two nights - one after we flew into Savannah to begin our vacation, then as we were leaving Savannah on the back end of our vacation. It was a decent hotel, but it did not blow us away. We were scammed by a third party promising a shuttle to pick us up from the airport late the night we arrived. My wife called ahead earlier that day and asked the woman at the front desk if we still had the shuttle. She told us she would try, but wouldnt promise anything. So when we arrived at the airport, we called again. A different woman at the front desk could not pick us up as she was the only one there. Ok, fine; it wasnt their fault, as it turns out. The rooms werent as cleanly as they could have been. There was garbage behind one of the night stands, dust on the bottom of the shelf of the night stand and someones cell phone was left behind. The breakfast was decent, room was quiet, and the staff was generally friendly, but not as accomodating as they could have been with the shuttle that night (only one person on staff?) and no discounts for finding the room dirty.
We were greeted by Ebbie at 1.00A and though we were dragging her smile and personality made me feel like a million bucks. She should be a United Nations Ambassador. I would go back there just to talk to her again and my wife feels the same. The hotel is what you would expect. Room was clean but a bit time-worn. Beds werent the most comfy but the shower was hot and the complimentary breakfast was tasty. It was nicely affordable and a nice experience overall.
I stayed here this past weekend. It wasn’t horribly filthy but it definitely could have been cleaner and our room smelled of mildew... I stayed in room 130 and woke up with bites all over my body that we’re not there before I went to bed. It turns out I have bed bug bites. The price We paid to stay at a dirty bed bug filled room is absurd!! Save your money and and the stress and DO NOT STAY HERE!!
We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very pleasing. The beds are super comfy. The bathroom was very clean. The people that worked there were nice & helpful. The breakfast is great too, waffles especially. Its close to the airport. The exit youre on has plenty of great stores to shop & awesome places to eat, fast food or sit down restaurants. All the busyness is on the opposite side of the exit so its quieter where the hotels are located. The walls are a little thin but nothing to a point where we were disturbed. Youre close to downtown Savannah but not too close. Its an hour to Hilton Head which made a great day beach trip! We would definitely stay again!
For a very short overnight, my stay was quite comfortable. The beds were cozy and thè hotel il in close proximity to The Waffle House which is always on the agenda regardless of what time we arrive. The front desk receptionist was quite accommodating, polite and prompt in her pick up of us from the airport. This is a great day.
Stayed overnight while driving North. The hotel was convenient to the interstate with plenty of placed to eat and get gas at. The night staff were friendly and made the check in process quick and easy, breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, cant ask for much more from a hotel.
My dad and I stayed here on our way through town. We called first to make sure they had a Queen room available and Tasha said she did. I asked her to reserve it as I was down the road and coming. She said ok and put me on hold. I was on hold for about ten minutes and walked into the hotel still on hold. I was told that all rooms were now sold out except for one King. They did not accept the coupon that I had for a room because it wasnt a Queen size and the price I paid was ridiculous for the service and room that we received. The first thing we saw by the bed was a 1” cockroach, hair on the pillow, and a dirty bathroom. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel and was simply looking for a clean place to sleep. The Fairfield Inn across the street was much better, unfortunately they were booked that night.
First room assigned to me smelled of cigarette smoke (hotel is nonsmoking), second room had paint chipping on the wall, shampoo bottle provided was half empty, and heater didnt seem to work well. Employees were nice/helpful. It worked for a place to stay over night, but not longer than that.
If youve ever stayed at a country inn and suites, then you know what youre getting into. If you havent, then you get what you pay for. They arent bad but sometimes the rooms are hit and miss. My most recent stay was relatively enjoyable without any major issues. They arent the nicest and sometimes you strike out, but generally they are decent for the price.
This place was great. Michaela and Jasmine was absolutely a doll. Jasmine made chocolate chip cookies bc my mama was allergic to what they had. They were helpful and our room was clean. I was pleased with my stay here. It is convenient to the Tanger Outlet. This place is in Pooler GA. I will defiantly be back
Horrible hotel people next room and across the hall screaming and banging on walls all night. Complained to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do The room was not very clean. Had reservations for 3 nights and left after the first one. Checked into a hotel across the street. It was much better and very satisfied
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy is an understatement. Bathroom had dirt and pubic hair on the floor. It was obviously not washed in between check ins. Huge stains in multiple areas on the carpet. Peanuts on the floor from the previous people to stay in the room. Stains all over the walls. A maintance man apparently didnt know our room was rented and just walked right in our room while we were in it. Juice machine was broken for breakfast and coffee was luke warm. The pool area was so filthy. The only good thing I could possibly say was that the bed was comfortable. For the price of this place, you would expect a little more. I dont usually write reviews but this place was that bad that I felt I needed to.
Front desk was VERY helpful. I wish I remembered how to spell her name because she was soo welcoming and friendly.Clean room. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed.Exactly what I needed for a quick respite before getting back on the road. And the price was right!Oh yeah, and head over to Sam Sneads for dinner. Soo good.
This place is horrible, ATTENTION ALL VISITORS and customers. This hotel has employees who steal credit card information and use them. I stayed in this hotel 6/25/19 next day on my credit card account I saw fraudulent activities. So check your credit card accounts.Plus over all room conditions were disgusting.
Surprisingly not what I expected based on prior reviews, this hotel looks nice but the beds were uncomfortable and the room looked like it needed work, peeling paint and brown stains on the ceramic tile. Quality Inn is cheaper and the beds are more comfortable, just figured I would try it out based on the reviews.
Cool spot to stay overnight. The bed was comfortable and I slept good. Didnt watch TV so cant comment on that, but they do provide wifi to watch Netflix on my phone so thats great. The shower had low pressure and the water could have been hotter, but it did the job. I will say they need to re-grout the shower because it was molded but what could i do? The staff was friendly and the coffee hot. I could done WITHOUT the communal straws, I mean hey guys COVID STILL EXISTS, this was a huge no no for me😒The pool looked inviting but with it still being a pandemic, I am NOT getting in public pools, so theres that.Check out was great it wasnt until 12noon, which is AWESOME!! the only downside to check out was the rickety luggage cart that was carefully held together by duct tape! Im SURE they could afford another carr!😏
I stopped in recently to book a room due to being overtired driving. The desk attendant had a sign on the desk that said be right back. Meanwhile he was sitting in the lobby reading a paper. After attempting to talk to him several times he spoke briefly and went back to reading. Annoying!!!! To say the least! I needed a room! I ended up going somewhere else and enjoyed my stay. Thanks but no thanks. I wont be back. Customer service isnt here.
Worst hotel front desk experience, liars, and lost items. The hotel room is average. The hotel front desk is the worst. Called 10+ Times, only 3 Times someone picked up the phone. The front desk kept lying. I was told someone could call me back, but no one ever called. So I walked in, the girl lied into my face. She said she was busy checking out a group. But the group had left. And she had nothing to do. Lies, lies, lies. Not to mention, you would never ever found you lost item, no one would ever even let you know if they had them in lost & found. Maybe someone “kept” it.As a frequent traveler (I travel almost every week). I assure you that this is not the hotel you want to stay.... with the same price, you can find much better hotel and experience. There are a lot of other hotels nearby.Bye!
For $200 a night... Rooms need updating. Stains on carpet and furniture. There is a dresser with a TV valet (moveable platform) in sitting area of suite and no tv. A tv in sleep area with most channels not working except for sports channels. Wifi is a joke on 3rd floor. The air/heating unit doesnt work. Doesnt turn off and only has very cold air blowing. Bathroom to the pool area is a health and safety hazard! No Frills No kidding! Very disappointing. Hyatt place across way is Great!

2022-03-20This is a decent hotel for a quick stay, but the one big issue I have is with the curtains. They have the standard white curtain and blackout curtain. However the blackout curtain does not go across the whole window to block out light or help stop people from looking in at night. You literally have to hair clip them together to get some more privacy. Luckily someone already made a hole in the curtain to easily do this. As you can see from the pictures attached that the slides for the blackout curtain do not go across the whole window.

2022-01-09While I understand the surrounding areas are old and historical, I did not expect the condition of the hotel to be in such disrepair. Two days of random fire alarms sounding, dead bugs, chipping wall paint, previous guest trash still under the bed, and tears in the wall and shower curtains was inexcusable. The overpowering flower spray as you enter the building is assumed to cover the musty smell of the old building. The stains on the carpet throughout were equally disgusting. We had two rooms so it wasn’t just the one. I slept well and the plumbing was the only thing acceptable about this hotel. The area felt safe and close to everything

2022-01-09The staff was extremely friendly here at this hotel. Beside that unfortunately this hotel has very low standards to say the least :(. Low standards with the upkeep of this hotel & low standards with the cleanliness. There is water intrusions on the ceilings, nasty stains all on the carpets, dirty toilets in “clean rooms”, nasty rusty showers, dusty lamps just overall grimy. I really hope this place can start doing some renovations & put in place some better cleaning procedures to offer their guest a better experience.

2022-02-21Wish negative stars could be given... We booked on Priceline at least a week ahead of time. We arrived Saturday 2/19/22 around 1 pm (check in is at 3) after driving from Florida; asked the front desk staff if we could possibly check in early as we traveled from out of state and wanted to check in and get situated before sightseeing. Front desk staff wouldnt look up our reservation, just told us nastily that check in is 3pm.So, we returned at 3pm to check-in when our family and another family (also booked on a 3rd party site) were told that our reservation had been canceled and that there were no empty rooms (without even looking at or pretending to look at the system). Meanwhile we overheard two of the workers discussing behind the front desk in the view and earshot of customers which rooms they were going to put their friends in for the night! So our family and the other had to find accommodations at the last minute after already having everything all planned out. Apparently this hotel and others have been canceling some reservations made through 3rd party sites in order to force people to pay more money booking directly through them at the last minute - this is dishonesty and not a successful way to run a company. The front desk staff was unprofessional, rude, not at all friendly or inviting, you could tell that they did not care at all that we had driven for 6 hours to arrive just to be told we couldnt stay. They did absolutely nothing to help us, they did not make any suggestions about other places we might try to find accommodations, they did not apologize for anything including their ghetto, rude, and disrespectful manner of speaking to customers.Hotels are part of the HOSPITALITY industry, and this hotel staff showed no hospitality whatsoever. The owner/manager should be embarrassed to have employees who act like the ones we encountered here on 2/19/22.Sorry for the long review, but other travelers should know about this before booking.

2022-04-30Do not stay here! This is NOT a 3 star hotel. I’m not sure how they are maintaining 3stars. There’s mold in the tub, walls, stains ALL over the floors, bed bugs, waters spots in the ceiling & walls, towels had black & brown stains on them. Bed had grease stains or something on the sheet. I’ve never stayed in a 3 star hotel that looks like this. It has to be a 2 star. I’ve stayed here about 4 years ago and it was nice but it has since gone downhill very far downhill. I paid $190 to stay here when I could’ve probably paid $100 to stay at a motel if I wanted to stay somewhere that looks like this. I’m disgusted & very upset that I wasted my money like that. We literally put a towel on the floor of the shower to take a quick shower. So gross

2022-06-14Positive: Perfect place to stay for an overnight on the way to Orlando. Room was clean & comfortable. Great location, many restaurants close by. The staff were so friendly and accommodating that I would definitely choose this hotel again when in the area.

2022-05-05Clean nice organized hotel, conveniently located on the highway. The only problem I found is that I couldnt find any breakfast items to eat. My sister also couldnt eat anything. Breakfast should be given more attention to, so people wont leave in an empty stomach after paying so much money 💸

2022-03-14I am currently trapped here with family for a couple of days. The carpets are stained and disgusting, there’s food smooshed in the floor. The light just inside the room doesn’t work, and the light in the bathroom is a bare bulb. The bathtub drain plug doesn’t stick, and there’s pink and black mold on the tub. The indoor pool is not heated. I’ve only been here a few hours, but I’ve already cried twice because this is so gross. I won’t let my kids sit on the floor, and I’m scrambling to keep everything off the floor, if possible. I can’t wait to get out of here. I already have a headache. The only pros I will say are that the staff at the front desk were very polite, it’s near lots of shopping, and it smells neutral.

2022-07-02This place is nice for 1 night. The walls are thin and you can hear people in their rooms. There are no USB ports anywhere so you will need plugs. The staff on check in and check out are ok not friendly and seemed like they did not want to be there. The area is good and I did not see any problems with cleanliness. I had this hotel booked for a week in March but I will be looking for another hotel due to the thin walls, no USB ports and the unfriendly staff.

2022-04-04Check in was scheduled for 3pmI arrived at 2:45pm to attempt to check in and was told the room was not ready and check in would be late so I would have to come back at 4pm.My wife and I came back at 4pm and was told our room was still not ready and we would have to wait even longer.I advised the staff that we had plans at 6pm for a local river cruise and could not be late. After many excuses and passing the buck of responsibility, coupled with argumentative comments from the staff. I finallywas able to down grade (thats right downgrade!) to different room so we could try to get ready and make it in time. Even with rushing, we missed the boarding time on our non refundable tickets and we are now out almost $150 because of this hotels superior incompetence. Not to mention a subpar room and a disgusting shower curtain that was ripped and tattered. This really ruined our time in the city. We were only there for one night before moving on the a different city. I would not recommend anybody stay at this hotel. Sleeping in your car and using a gym shower would be better. What a disappointment.
