Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in other cities:
Cracker Barrel best feature is once you have been to one you know about 98% of whats on the Menu. Like McDonalds only 100% better. The Staff, Food , Country store makes it a fantastic experience. The food is made fresh to order. The coffee is hot but not scorching they are not afraid to bring you all the sweetener and creamer you care to have. They will modify the menu to suit your desires . Its the perfect breakfast joint whether you want quick and gone on a 2-3 hour party. They are always ready with a pot to refill your cup. Cant recommend them enough just be warned you will be taking home a doggie bag because there will be too much food.
We had a large party of 11 - 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 kids. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very nice. It took a little while to take our orders and then get our food, but that was to be expected since it was busy. Our only complaint was that we were halfway through eating before we ever received refills from when we first got drinks. Otherwise we had a nice time!
Cara was our server today and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, she made sure our food was perfect, she replaced our hot chocolate when it didn’t taste chocolatey enough. She did such An amazing job, and her positive attitude and smile really made us feel welcomed and at home. All of our food was also cooked perfect to order and was all hot including the syrup. Best service I’ve had in a long time.
Had the meatloaf. I dont have a picture because I ate it way too fast. I had been trying to get ahold of the meatloaf to try it and everywhere I went, they were sold out. This one had it and it lived up to its hype. Delicious down to the last bite and the service was great. The included picture may not be helpful what it looked like, but it will tell you that it was delicious!
This is only my second or third time ordering takeout at this location. The service is very friendly and they try to get you in and out as fast as possible... My order however wasnt right. I ordered medium-well steak, it was medium... I also ordered a side of gravy which was not in the bag when I got home.Im not sure if I was charged for the side of gravy because their receipts dont show you a breakdown of the price. I will, however be calling to find out. I feel this one was on the kitchen and the to-go staff. Its the kitchens job to make sure the steak is done right and it may also be their job to get the gravy, idk... but its also the responsibility of whoever is bagging, to make sure all of the items on the ticket.... make it in the bag. I was pretty disappointed with my experience being that it was to-go and I was not about to drive back there just to get some gravy. I did eat the steak because I dont hate a medium steak, its just not what I prefer.
I frequent this establishment regularly for business breakfast meetings.Food is really good. The problem is over the past 2-3 years they have changed their menu every few months. One week I can order the Uncle Hershel with 2 pieces of catfish and the next week it costs me an additional $8.99.They have literally done this five (5) different times over the past year. They do not empower their employees or managers to overcome these simple issues when changes occur. This time, it actually cost us MORE money to receive LESS food than we did 3 weeks ago.I think Im moving my meetings to J.Christophers.Consistency and service matter.....
Family favorite, pro ably our 20th visit to this location in last 5 years. Never a bad visit. We never go during peak hours on weekend as its always packed and always a wait. This was a Saturday evening at about 745pm. Great food, no wait and dining room was about full. Food came out quick. Fried fish was excellent and French toast was excellent as always. Who dosent love Cracker Barrel when its a well managed and friendly location. I would leave 5 stars just for their breakfast, quality meats and syrup.
10 STARS! What more can I say?The majority of Cracker Barrel restaurants are excellent. This is one of them. The whole experience takes me back to childhood and a simpler time. The store is great. So many classic items. New items. Seasonal. All that. Half the reason people come is the store. They have all kinds of stuff from my childhood and its nice quality stuff.Down home country cooking is always great. The French Toast is made with Sourdough bread and it is out of this world amazing. The eggs are always on point. The biscuits and jams and so dang good. Oh and the Meatloaf is on point.Service with a smile always. They seem to hire people who are kind and always seem helpful. They always seem to love their jobs.I love it. I keep coming back. Probably my favorite overall restaurant.Got this cute Scooby Doo toy set for my nephew on super sale 70% off.
I ordered a good amount of food for my last cheat day before starting a new diet. My steak came out way overcooked. I had eaten other things and several minutes later the server asked about my meal. I told and showed her that my steak was overcooked. She agreed that it was overcooked and asked if I wanted another. I told her no (I ordered a lot of food). Her way of caring for the overcooked steak was to say, I wish you had told me sooner. I was very pleased with her service up to that point. The over steak and lack of a resolution drives this rating.
The food was good and the service was good. The restaurant was FREEZING. All of the servers we huddled around the fireplace it was so cold. My food came out warm and perfect but withing 5 min my food was freezing cold. We went there with some family and friends that live out if town and we could not just sit and talk because it was so cold in the place. No excuse for that.
We had a colleague visit us from Italy and wanted to give her the experience at Cracker Barrel. She along with another colleague who lives here but never been to Cracker Barrel loved it. We had to wait for 30 mins but both my colleagues were busy shopping all the hand made goodies and googoo cluster at the shopping area. Love this store for all the local art works they carry. The hospitality was awesome and the food was great as usual.
Me and my husband had a horrible experience!! We walked in and was greeted with a smile by the male host, he seated us and we literally sat there for 20 minutes no one asked us if we wanted a drink, no one asked us what we want to eat, there was nothing!! The bad part about this experience was there were people who walked in after us who had ordered and was getting there food. We ended up walking out without being serviced. I do not recommend this location. The one star was for the host!
There was 3 of us. 2 loves cracker barrel and I am not too much of a fan of it. But I went to brunch with them, I was surprised they upped their menu game, but they menu no longer has oatmeal as an option or cobbler I did not see it. (SAD)waitress was rather slow, but not she fault, they needed help as many businesses do.still very clean and people were happy.try it yum too many!bon appetit
This is the 3rd time I’ve came to this establishment and request curbside delivery and I have to get out my car and go in to retrieve my food! Then I still have to wait for the food because it is never ready when they say it will be. Then when I get the food it’s cold!! The curbside process is terrible and needs to be improved.
Love this Cracker Barrel location. Its a little farther than the one on Delk Rd but its worth the drive for a good home cooked meal. The food is always hot and fresh and the great service makes the food taste even better! The lemon pepper grilled rainbow trout is my fav with green beans and hash brown casserole or mac & cheese.
Quick and professional service. Clean. The food was delicious as always. Thank you for your consistency in service and food quality. I can never decide what I want to get but usually end up with breakfast. My son was happy with his sirloin and my husband said the roast beef was fantastic. Well be back! Thank you!
My server was excellent - friendly, fast, and made me feel welcome.I had hoped there would be a fire in the fireplace. I asked the manager about it and he advised me that it would be too warm today for one.Today? Yes, it would be too warm today but not this morning. It was cool and I was looking forward to the welcoming and friendly flames of a warm fire.Instead, I got, Its going to be too warm today - uhmmmm, no kidding.Mr. manager - if I come back later today and ask for a fire ... then your response would be appropriate - but it wasnt this morning. And one more thing before I forget: both seats in the mens room are loose. I would understand if this were a McDonalds but its not. It is supposed to be a nice, family-friendly restaurant. The kind that kids, adults, and senior citizens can go to the bathroom and not worry about falling off and breaking their bones.Do you remember the lady that sued McDonalds over a hot coffee spill? That was an accident - this is intentional neglect.I say intentional because BOTH seats are loose - practically falling off the stool.Sheesh - spend more than $9.99 at Wal-Mart and buy some QUALITY seats.Five stars for my server - ZERO stars for my experience.
Both my wife and daughter ordered the Lemon Pepper Grilled Trout with 2 sides (wife = house salad and green beans, daughter = macn cheese x2), I had my favorite CB go-to entree Meat Loaf with 3 sides (mashed potatoes and brown gravy, sweet baby carrots, and green beans) .. everything tasted great including the pre-meal biscuits .. CB is always a good choice for some good home-cooking
I got the fried turkey dinner special, and it was as good as any food Ive ever gotten at any Cracker Barrel. Rarely do we have an issue, and their limited time deals are usually pretty good too. Breakfast is good as it gets there also. The only downside is if you go on a weekend night plan on a long wait.
Today was just NOT a good day in the kitchen at this location. Ive been going to Cracker Barrel for over ten years & this particular location since 2015. I order the SAME thing every time. The Cracker Barrel Sampler which consist of a sample of Meatloaf, Ham & Chicken Dumplings.Today I decided to double my meatloaf & omit my Dumplings only to have our waitress April deliver cold Turnip Greens, room temp muffins, very cold Hashbrown casserole AND the smallest piece of Ham Ive seen in my life.Keep in mind I order this EVERY time I come. Had I had any idea someone in the kitchen would take half of my piece of Sampler, I wouldve ordered Double HAM. When I brought it to Aprils attention, she seem unbotheredMy pinto beans had a unique taste but they were the hottest item delivered to me. I didnt finish it due to the unfamiliar taste.I ALWAYS finish my plate when I dine here.Im writing this post as I wait for my husband to finish his food. All I can say Is you Win some, you lose some & I wish I wasnt so hungry to continue the 10 miles to the other location on Delk Road.UPDATE: Sydney the cashier asked us How was our meal & I told her, she immediately called for a manager but we had paid already & there really wasnt anything to discuss. The waitress showed she didnt care, why would anyone else? The manager caught up to us in the parking lot & I explained to him what happened. He was very apologetic & wish he wouldve been notified before we paid, but once again the very first person you inform of happiness has to be the one to care & April just didnt care.
We went to dinner here after going to 3 different places. Everyone seems to not have enough help to keep things running properly. We only waited 10 minutes for a table. Our waiter was very, nice, helpful, and did a terrific job for our table of 7. I cant remember his name, but he was very nice.
We had Sabrina for our server. She was phenomenal! Great person, energy was excellent, every time she came around she had this energy about her that livened up the table! The food was great I got a sampler. Meat loaf, dumplings, honey ham, grean beans, mac n cheese, and hashbrown casserole all was really good! Just like momma made it!My wife hot the grilled serlionsteak (medium) and cinnamon apples she swore the steak alone with no steak sauce beat Longhorn hands down
One word. NASTY. hostess seated us at a filthy table and grabbed a nasty looking rag and knocked the crumbs and food items around the table a little and walked away. I cleaned it myself before sitting down. The sweetener packets are damp and stained and nasty looking. There’s a dirty knife under our table and food all over the floor in this place. Management should be ashamed. We won’t be back. Food hasn’t come yet and I’m worried. If it’s as nasty as the rest of this place we will not be paying. We will talk to a manager and leave.
Delicious hot lunch and great customer service. The turkey and dressing is yummy. Their biscuits, blackberry jam, and sweet tea were all good. I was happy to get one of their top servers that Ive met in the past. She is a superstar! Shes sharp and manages multiple tables very well. The stars on her apron should bling! It was nice to see her still there after the pandemic.
Lets first talk about your Business Motto, to please people, oh really, well you didnt on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at 8:45 pm, receipt is attached to comment.3 adult dinners, we ordered on line, drove to store, picked up dinners. The cavete is they never called or told us at time we ordered that they ran out of mashed potatoes, pinto beans & sawmill white gravy !! Oh really, & the one mashed potatoes they managed was obviously so dry we had to use a rubber spatula to scrape together a portion for 1 serving, which was crusty & yellow & so dry that needed scraped off like a sun burn from the container so some half & half could be added to the dry lump for moisture, & no white gravy at all !That is the chicken fried chicken. The country fried steak dinner didnt have pinto beans & no country white gravy & no mashed potatoes ! The meatloaf dinner seems be normal, but havent tasted it yet. What the is going on here ?Upon arriving to pick our dinners up, we were told that they had run out of country white gravy & pinto beans & mashed potatoes ! So out desperation we had to quickly fix Cracker Barrels surprise as were there picking up food. Why would a restaurant send out its dinners requiring country white gravy, 2 of them! Whats going on here ? It suffices to say we asked for some brown gravey fill out our loss of white gravy & for the pinto beans we picked macaroni & cheese & for this dinner they ran out of mashed potatoes, it was replaced with dumplings. What a hot mess this order is !Im addressing this error so we hope cracker barrel will make this right with us.Most disappointed doing business with them & not calling customers to know to choose another business or agree to substitute items. Thank you for allowing me write my experience & see if Cracker Barrel intends to support its BUSINESS MOTTO -- TO PLEASE PEOPLE.Pam Caulfield Google Maps Volunteer Reviewer.
Our first ever visit to a Cracker Barrel (we don’t have them in the UK). We first parked in a space reserved for takeout only, and then spent some time finding the entrance, as we didn’t realise you had to enter via the shop. But I’m sure the people resting on rocking chairs on the veranda (who we passed 6 times in our search for the correct door) didn’t notice.Friendly staff showed us to a table and left us with the menu. So many choices! We wanted ‘more than a bagel but less than a dinner’ and the possibilities seemed endless. Our waitress kindly brought us water and left us for several hours while we tried to decide. Eventually chose a chicken sandwich—thought all was in hand and was then asked if I wanted it fried or grilled! Moment of panic, opted for grilled, good choice. Delicious sandwich duly arrived, with as much chicken inside as a family of 10 would eat back in the UK!Husband ordered a coke, then a coffee. Both had free refills, so he drank an ocean-worth of caffeine. Was very chatty for the rest of the day!Used the washrooms (clean) got lost in the shop (lots of pretty things to distract you) and left feeling content. The service was friendly and the food was great.
I took my daughter here for her 3rd birthday breakfast. We always enjoy cracker barrel and this location is no different. Our server was really nice and good at her job. The chocolate chip pancakes and bacon were excellent. I highly recommend stopping in next time you are in the mood for a good breakfast or lunch, or if you are driving by.
The staff were extremely poor at giving correct and well worded instructions about where their Togo and pick up area was. Waited a needless 20 minutes for an order about which I was first told that it was not ready, but in effect was ready and already getting cold on another side of the restaurant.
We waited 20 minutes for a table. Understandable since it was 6pm on a Sunday. Then we waited an hour for our food while five tables seated after us got their food before us. After we asked for the check for our drinks, we were told it would be just ten more minutes for the food because they had to thaw the chicken tenders. Why didn’t they mention this an hour ago? We left because we were so upset at this point that we wouldn’t have enjoyed the meal. The manager said we didn’t have to pay for our drinks, which was nice. And our waitress was nice. But it was a very bad experience and we won’t be back.
Easily seen from the road and wheel chair accessible. Big country store with one of a kind finds and includes a restaurant. Hostess seats you and is very polite. Ordered special ( with no soy or peanuts) because I have food allergies with no problems or issues later with my allergies. Food came hot and plentiful. Ordered breakfast and it was delicious. Would highly recommend and it gets busy on the weekends.
Always enjoy coming here, gotta have those biscuits. Truly, our server PJ, was amazing. She got everything we asked for and more. Great server. I enjoyed their country fried chicken, and it was great!!! I always get regular crispy hashbrowns rather than their hashbrown casserole. I also had an apple cobbler which was alright. PJ made the meal great!, thanks PJ!
Service was excellent. waiter was great. really tall nice guy. very attentive to our needs(wants). food was good but could have been hotter. it was not hot at all. restaurant was really cold also. everyone sitting around in coats. otherwise would have been 5 stars. crank that fireplace up.
Horrible service, friends were eating at the restaurant and was going to get us a to go order and waitress said it would be faster to order online. A lot of the items weren’t on the online menu so we tried calling it in and the guy who answered said they were closing soon so aren’t taking call ins and we explained the situation and he hung up on us. Terrible customer service won’t be coming back!
Ordered food hours before to be ready by a particular time, to go. It wasnt ready when I arrived. Turkey and Dressing, 1 small piece of Turkey on the dinner portion and the dressing was a liquid mush. The sides barely covered the bottom of the cups they were in. It was a terrible experience.
The only thing i didnt like is I ordered a curb side and they say you could text a certain number when you get there and I did and I sat for like 10 minutes and then when I actually called the number on the sign then they brought it out why would you have a text thing if youre not gonna follow it
This morning was an experience should not have happened for even a first time newly opened restaurant, much less an experienced long standing, down home, family, next door neighbor type.1st to-go delivery order ran its course and at time stated for such had passed. We ( Cindy Ware) called restaurant and stated we did not receive delivery even though our following their delivery on their website said that their delivery food for us was delivered. NOT ! Their Mgr. (Kennesaw location) (Jeffery Davis)informed us that they did Not get our Oder and we would have to take it up with DoorDash because it was ordered through them. We did Not order through DoorDash but directly through Cracker Barrel and their website. Upon hearing this he told us to cancel the order and do it again, we would receive a refund. That happened. We reordered the same and waited the required delivery time again but when the time allowed by their clock ended up pops on screen “your order is ready for pick-up at x:X , what ? Pick-up order was Not ready when their time said it would be so we waited again. Upon the right amount of time for the meal made from scratch had passed we inquired about it again. Only to be told once more that they did not receive the order. I informed them that that they need to refund us the amount. They did our refund once more. This time offered the meal for free. That was nice but didn’t meet our expectations of trying to make our temporary extended stay hotel experience seem better. You see, last night our home burned to ground and we lost everything, nice try Cracker Barrel you Failed Us
We stopped by on a Sunday night around 6:00 p.m. the parking lot was only half full. Inside we were told that for a party of five it would be a 45 minute wait. Thats ridiculous. There were empty tables in the restaurant. Sounds like the place is being poorly managed to me. We walked out drove to Kroger, bought our own buttermilk, and made our own pancakes at home which were better than the ones you can get at cracker barrel anyway. They need to do a better job of managing this restaurant.
So I ordered curbside at this location and after I called to let them know that I was there they told me the food would be ready in a couple of minutes. After 15, I walked in to ask where my food was since I could never get anyone to answer the phone any other time I called. Turns out my food was ready they were just to lazy to bring it out
I would give this place a -1000 if it was possible. Worst food ever. The chicken fried steak looked like they got it out of the freezer. It was round like a frozen banquet dinner with a small spoon full of gravy on top. Definitely a joke and do not recommend it to anyone. Like ever.
This place has gone downhill, first off we sat there for almost 20 minutes before our very slow waitress asked us for our drink order and at that point we already knew what we wanted to eat. The prices went up and their portions went down. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with French fries, the hamburger steak was listed as an 8oz hamburger but I would be surprised if it was 4oz and the quality didnt look the same, his fries were few and far between. I had the daily special of the fish fry and well needless to say they were frozen fish triangles, they were still good but not what I was at all expecting. I had this small dollop of potatoes and maybe a half bowl of green beans. You cant get a side salad as a side anymore, they now charge you a $1.69 for that option. We ate our dinner but can be totally honest with you that we wont be going back anytime soon. Food was mediocre and the service was barely there. This review hurts because cracker barrel was one of my favorite places to go but after last night its not anymore.
When we arrived this morning we put our name on the list and were told our wait would be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting and seeing 2 families who arrived after us be seated, we asked about our table. The lady was very rude. She would not look up our name. She told us the wait for everyone was 20 minutes. We let her know we had been waiting 30 minutes and she just threw up her hands and told us, I only seat people. I dont know what to tell you. So very disappointed with this service.
The positive experience we had with Morgan, as our server, was phenomenal! She provided personal attention to every group in her care - everyone had full drinks, plenty of food that was delicious and an amazing staff member. This location is blessed by having a great employee in Morgan! Thank You!
There was a wait (understandable), but then there was a 15 minute wait before server came and got drink order then another 15-20 minutes before she brought our drinks. At this point we had be there an hour. She then had an attitude when we drank it all and ask for refills (CB glass are only 12oz. glasses then you load it with ice you might have 5-6 oz of drink). She brought refills then we ask if we could order and said give me a minute. 10 minutes later she finally came to take food order (which we had already known what we wanted to order since 10 minutes after we where seated). Spoke with manager. He took off childs meal in our party of 7 (6 adults(57,55,41,40, 26 and 24) and 1 child (5).Store end of the experience was excellent but that was not the reason we stop. We stop because we was hungry. The ladies that was working store end was Pleasant asking if we needed help finding sizes for the clothing we was looking at while waiting.
Did not enjoy my visit very well. 1st when I went to order I had to change my order because they were out of the food I picked to order. 2nd the waitress did not come back to the table after delivery of food and drinks. Not to give or ask if we needed anything or offer more drink. 3rd I had also got a order to go when she brought it out it was here ya go bye no checking with us if we were done or wanted dessert. Even after I told her in the beginning that we may order dessert later. 4th I had a gift card for $ 25 dollars and the cashier said it was no good. I beg to differ I called and made sure. The problem was the magnetic strip wasnt reading so they couldnt take it. I was like well here it is and you can figure out how to punch numbers in it will work I was then told by a supervisor that looked 18 maybe that they couldnt punch numbers. Ok then why does everyone else with credit card machines have that option to use and you dont? I believe it was actually not enough training or not willing to learn wanting to take the easiest way. The only GREAT THING TO GET DONE THERE WAS THE OLDER CASHIER (FEMALE) PAID THE BALANCE ON MY TICKET. I TRIED TO GIVE HER THE GIFT CARD FOR DOING IT BUT SHE REFUSED SO I WILL BE PAYING IT FORWARD FOR HER GENEROSITY WITH ME AND HER TRYING TO SAVE HER WORK PLACE AS A FAMILY ORIENTED AND CARING RESTAURANT. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME THAT NIGHT.
Our server and food was great! I could’ve rated my visit 5 stars if the employee outside, Lisa, wasn’t so rude. I had put myself on the waitlist online and just wanted to check that I was on there and she rudely asked me if I had gotten a text and asked what my last name was or “whatever.” She obviously needs a new job because as the first encounter at the location she surely made me wanna change my mind.
I placed an order via phone, at 7:30AM on a Sunday morning. Alex R answered the call, and I think Alex should be the standard for providing amazing customer service over the phone. I could literally hear Alex’s smile through the phone, and he even took the initiative to give suggestions. It’s so important that we all show a little grace and happiness during these trying times! I ordered biscuits and gravy and my favorite pancakes, and this location never disappoints with quality of food!! Everyone involved was a pleasure, including Challie at the front end.
Went here today with my family, first and last time. The first thing I noticed is how dirty the restaurant was. There was literally food all over the floor. I wanted to leave but we decided to stay since my kids were hungry. The food was underwhelming. The cornbread tasted like plain muffins with too much salt. Tiny serving of mashed potatoes with hardly any gravy. My husbands burger was not made as the menu stated and the bun was burnt . He got like 7 fries, same for my kids. The only thing that was good was the desert and loaded tots. The waiter was very friendly and that was the only good thing about the visit.
Good food and prompt service, even on a Sunday. We were expecting a 20 minute wait, but our table was ready in 3 minutes! The two big bosses walked back and forth across the fireplace area looking like guards on a prison detail. It did not affect us directly, but we were seated close. It was a big distraction that seemed unnecessary.
I ordered online for curbside pickup. They were amazing! To be honest with most restaurants lately I have come to expect the service and food quality to be a bit less than optimal. But, with Cracker Barrel it was just the opposite. The food was delicious, hot and on time! I literally jumped because I had just called in and was there right at the time assigned and the server was at my car door. It was so great to have a home cooked meal that even my youngest loves. Thank you!
Update: Weve had a few bad experiences here over the past year but today we had Joy as our server and she was amazing. We got the biscuits in advance like we asked for and she was attentive and very pleasurable. Food was also good When we go back were always asking for Joy!
Yesterday my mother, sister, and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel last minute and meet up. We hadn’t been to this location beforehand decided why not give it a shot. yesterday we had a server named Jim, who was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to make sure our experience was perfect. He made sure we had everything that we needed before we could even ask. Great hospitality, great personality, great service. We will definitely come back to see him. Thanks again Jim!
Busbee Drive should have notified its customers and it’s website that it would not be doing delivery on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I had checked all week on their website to see if they would be delivering on Wednesday and there was no message. I was very disappointed when I ordered my Fried Turkey dinner to save for the next day and was informed by the manager that they would not be delivering! The manager was rude as well!
After a 7 hr drive from the beach we stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner. One of our favorite places normally by the way. Not this time! 8 of us, and they are out of pretty much everything we have asked for. To start with, biscuits and refused to make any. Nice, right? Moving to the menu - they were out of 4 entrees people in our groups was wanting. We requested a manager and we’re told, after the server went to the back “The manager is busy, would y’all like a free desert?” No we don’t want a free desert, we would like the manager. The server pops off with an attitude and walks off. Comes back now they are out of two of the sides 3 of us ordered. We ask for something else. The server walks away, to return once again to find out now we are out of another side. All the while still no manager and still with an attitude. Finally the manager comes out and we express our issues. The manager, David, explains “I was busy”. I reply, “Sir, I’m sorry, but regardless of how busy you are you are out of everything we have asked for and now the server has an attitude.” The manager goes back to the kitchen mad, and our food comes out. Missing half the stuff and magically we now have biscuits (burnt on the bottom) and the food they were out of heated in the microwave and yet taste cold. The server comes back I requested a box and was ignored as she turned and walked away. She went to the kitchen again. When she returns back to the table I asked “Are you bringing a box?” She turns, cuts her eyes at me and said, “That’s what I said.” I replied, “Did you because you never said anything?” She cut her eyes again and with attitude walked off saying something. The manager then comes back out and was extremely rude and slung boxes at me asking if I requested boxes. We get to the register and the manager rudely stated when asked why he didn’t come out,” I told her I was busy!” Needles to say at this point I will NEVER be back here. Nor do I recommend anyone else to either. I will be contacting home office about this in the morning. By far the worst service EVER!!!!
We arrived about 8:30pm and had a 30 minute wait. Our server was very nice. Our order was taken and we were promptly told that 3 of the items (of 5) we wanted were not available (um, Hello?? No fried chicken? No dumplings? No Mac and cheese??) Then, the sausage my daughter ordered was like a hockey puck. I didnt go all Karen on them, but they knew I was not happy, but nothing was offered to off-set the inconvenience of having 3 crabby, hungry kids and one hangry mama.
One of the best Cracker Barrels my family has ever eaten at. We were seated right away even though it was a busy Friday night. Solomon our waiter was outstanding. The food was perfectly prepared and tasted amazing. The portion sizes were above average At our table we ordered the sampler, the haddock and an order of chicken and dumplings. The grilled sourdough bread with blackberry jelly is outstanding. No military discount at this location.
I love Cracker Barrel. It has been a family staple for years, but social distancing is just nonexistent here. You can tell that some of the employees here are doing their best with the safety measures that have been given to them and truly want the best for the safety of the guests in the store but because of company policies cant, such as having a sign for a mask mandate but being told they are not allowed to enforce it if a customer says no. There were tons of people in the store who were taking advantage of this and taking it off as soon as they got past the employee outside and into the store. Even though the tables werent spaced out properly and the store and line werent socially distanced the service here was fantastic as usual. The host team was very efficient and friendly even though they were clearly understaffed. We couldnt help but notice that they were the only employees in the store without some kind of safety barrier similar to the ones hanging above the cash registers. They were very accommodating to our requests for a table that was as far away from people as they could get us. Our server greeted us immediately and was very prompt with drinks and food, which was fantastic as usual. Weve eaten here multiple times during the pandemic and the social distancing of tables hasnt been a problem until recently. I wont be coming back here until they will enforce social distancing and masks.
Went in today with my wife and kids. Waited 20 minutes for a table, and were finally seated. After sitting at the table for 25 minutes without a wait staff even asking if we had been helped, a family was seated right next to us. They had a waitress in 2 minutes take their order. We promptly left. After putting my wife and kids in the car, I went back in to speak to someone about the issue. Someone was already seated at the table, and the same waitress that was at the table beside us was serving them. Spoke to the manager Kenneth, he said sorry, and next time we come in to ask for him and he will make sure we are served. Its a cracker barrel. They are located by the interstate for travellers. We wont be in that area again for 6 months to a year and I have 3 locations closer to my house. Basically, so sorry, deal with it. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Completely insane to sit between the kitchen door and fireplace, IN COMPLETE VIEW OF A MANAGER the whole time, and get no service at all for 25 minutes.
I HIGHLY recommend coming to this restaurant. I have been a regular here for the past couple of months. Mainly because of the location because I live down the street.I just wanted to say that I truly love the customer service here. When I enter, there is always someone to greet me which immediately makes me feel welcome.. I have NEVER had to wait to be seated.. it’s usually just me, but the host always seats me immediately.. Just about every server I have had here has always been fast, friendly, and accommodating to my needs.. the quality of the food is consistent, and always amazing.Today I sat with the server BRI. She has EXCELLENT customer service skills. She immediately helped me and took down my order without any problems. Anything I needed or wanted she immediately got to me. It was very pleasant not only being able to enjoy my food, but also having a server that was professional and on top of my needs. JIM was another great server as well! Very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed getting to speak briefly with these two. I will continue to be a regular here. ♥️
Ordered through Uber Eats today and everything was cold!!! Literally everything!!! And it had nothing to do with the delivery driver cause he was quick and I also paid for priority!!! The chicken was cold and over cooked, the mac and cheese was cold and watery, the beignets were awful and cold, the fries were cold and awful!!!! I honestly should of ordered Taco Bell!!! Ordered from Taco Bell late at night and their food was hot and good!!! I have not had Cracker Barrel in so long and last time I went it was amazing so I decided to order some and I honestly regret ordering!!!! Truly disappointed!!! This really ruined my day off because I was looking forward to eating the food I ordered!!!
This location is generally busy. The store area is a little crowded making it harder to navigate to the hostess and seating area. I ordered a Bacon and Egg Hashbrown Casserole and it was subpar. The eggs weren’t fresh or warm/hot. The cheese slice was hardly melted and some of the hash browns were just cold. My waiter was very friendly and helpful but I only wished that my food was warm since it was a busy night figuring it would have been.
I really love the atmosphere and the old timey feel and they topped it all off with a fireplace, just really nice, me and my party of 8 (close family members) sat down at a round table next to the back door not enough chairs and the table wasnt meant for 8 but it was the biggest they had so it was no biggy, the back door we were sat next too was left open and the ladies were freezing because of the cold wind coming from outside so she shut the door, later alot of staff kept coming back and opening the door and so she kept shutting the door because of the cold, soon the manager arrived but instead of some sort of apology we were met with a rude comment, we are just going to keep opening the door so after some words we were moved to a even smaller table with less room and waited a long time for our food, we had no complimentary biscuits or cornbread for about 25 minutes into service, we only got them when we asked our waiter for some after he came and asked for refills, when we ordered our food everything seemed fine until the food arrived (also a long wait) atleast 4 sides were missing and one of the sides we did get (the broccoli) wasnt even cooked, we were tired of bickering at this point but we were left with no choice since my dad didnt even get his food at all, about an hour later they finally brought my dads food and some sides we were missing, except they gave us mashed potatoes instead of mac and cheese :), overall the everyone said there food was pretty good but my cheese burger was pretty overcooked and didnt really like the steak fries, but at least I got my side, a second waitress came and apologized for the service and gave us a really good discount on the check, the only reason Im not gonna give this experience a one star review.
Food was good, but service was atrocious. Spoke to a manager and he promised a gift card, but have not received it even 3 weeks later. Place seems busy, especially during breakfast hours, but there was absolutely no excuse for the lack of attention the waitress provided.
Long story short, I had to pull over off the road for a video conference call. After my call I went in & was greeted at the door by a very nice woman. I explained I needed to place an order to go. I placed my order & went looking around the store. I found a beautiful chandelier for my new parlor (a.k.a sitting room). The service was wonderful as well as the food. Thank you, Debbie.
I attempted to make a to- go order at this location last week. I went inside and approached the order here area. The employee gave me a menu and told me someone would be with me shortly. No one came to take my order, after 10 min I asked and was told to be patient and informed I couldthe online app to place the order. 8 more minutes, no one came to take theorder.I left and called back and spoke with Marco, who identified himself as the manager. Marco stated they were terribly understaffed and he was sorry.
Meals were good. Service was very good; Desiree. The pot pie had an excellent presentation. Taste was bland, as though the sauce was not in stirred. The spices may have separated. My sister in law added a lot of salt and paper to provide taste. She ate all the crust, which was unusual. Too many peas gave the dish a green tint.My wifes roast beefn potatoes and my haddock, slaw and crispy fries were the tops
Sabrina made us feel right at home, handling our table of eight with ease using her magic pen to get everything just right on our orders. Between the bottomless coffee and copious amounts of fixins, I had difficulty finishing my own order, despite everything being perfect.
Well, I have eaten at this location for a number of years until Covid hit. Then I continued ordering from them thru door dash. Now in the last 3 weeks I have experienced nothing but disappointment. The first week I called via phone trying to place a order to pick up. Not one person answered the phone for the 25 minutes as I was driving there. I hung up and called them at least four times. They finally answered and they informed me that they are not taking orders over the phone. The only way I can place order is online or come in and place order. I asked her how long it would take if I came in and she said 30 minutes or longer. Which is why I tried placing by phone. Needless to say I did not go to there.Last week I placed an order online and tried to use my gift card. I have three that I have been trying to use. Well, nope you only get option to use credit cards. It doesn’t even given option to come inside and pay. Tonight, I go in there to place an order. I get asked name for Order pick up and I was like I need to place a order. Next thing I know another employee walks up and says it’s a 45 mins for a to go order and I looked at her and she said we are busy. Now, maybe I am wrong but I think a hello how can I help you would have been appropriate instead of just saying it’s a 45 minute wait. We are busy. All she told me is that she didn’t want my business or order so I walked out.I get that there is a shortage of workers but u still have to have customer service.Chick-fil-A was happy to serve me and greeted me with a hello. Nothing negative about how long their drive thru line was.
We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was packed. The wait wasn’t too long and their Servers were friendly and attentive. Food was good but the gravy and grits both lacked salt (easy fix). Try to avoid the store on the way out because you and your spouse will definitely find things to buy 🤣
Really loved our sweet waitress Sydney. Honestly wish we could have tipped her more. Didnt have to wait to long. She was really busy, but went above and beyond to take care of our family of 5 and all our picky, little requests. She exemplified what a true service industry professional should be like! Food was really good! I have a lot of food restrictions but was still able to find a delicious, healthy meal! Rainbow trout, broccoli, green beans, and fruit salad. Will get double green beans next time. Broccoli was ok, but green beans were awesome! Fruit salad was obviously fresh and unique. Not just the usual blah, blah hard honeydew, canteloupe, watermelon, and unsweet and unripe. This was juicy, sweet and wonderful! Strawberries, blueberries, pineapple. I think that was it. Super ripe and delicious!!! Love the country store as usual too! Wish it were a little more affordable though. Got a cast iron skillet and I LOVE it so much!!!!! Thank you Sydney and Cracker Barrel!
From down the grapevine, I have been privy to a tantalizing rumor: a certain enchanting, extraordinary person may be coming to grace this Kennesaw Cracker Barrel with her impeccable skills and charming personality.I am ecstatic, for not only does this Cracker Barrel frequently keep up their stock of honey mustard - this has burdened me at other locations - but I hear the one-of-a-kind wonderful woman will be a server. The opportunity to sit, while this incredible human being stands above me, is a dream I have dreamed when I am not lying awake thinking of her. The chance to give her my loyal patronage, through tips, is a blessing. I shall leave a $20 and the deed to my soul, if I am lucky enough for her to seat me.Havent actually eaten here before, but the 5 stars is well deserved due to the gift upon the establishment that will be the great efforts, admirable work ethic, sincere and impassioned kindness, and aesthetic spectacle that this fantastic young woman has.
This place is slow and the service is horrible!! My family and I waited for over an hour for food that never came. The manager continued to promise that our food was coming in 5 minutes. Every table around us received their food, ate and left. We eventually left without eating!! My kids were starving 😡! I had to take them to IHOP. This is the SECOND TIME weve had this experience at this location. Were done with Cracker Barrel! 😠
We have been visiting this location since opening. I have always been pleased overall with them. Taking into account that you are going to have good and great visits. Something changed about 2 years ago with them. I know that some management was moved and possibly others. Ever since then the quality of service and more importantly the food quality has continued to drop off. This though was definitely one of the worst visits in a long time.
Ordered 2 meals around 9:30AM. One was breakfast, the other apparently only available after 11. After waiting for 30 minutes after ordering and after paying, my husband asked when the order would be ready. They said 10 minutes. After waiting 15 MORE minutes, he asked again. This time they told him that chicken and dumplings were not available in the morning! Now they tell him. We were several hours away from our destination and had already wasted all this time, ha asked for a refund. At first they wouldnt refund both. They said, but what about yours? Its ready. And he said how long and they said probably at least 30 minutes. He told them didnt want to eat without his spouse, and he wasnt paying for cold food! Finally they refunded the whole ticket and we went down the road. Im sure the food was probably as good as any Cracker Barrel, but the service here is awful. At least on this day and time. Perhaps a refresher course in customer service is in order, as well as teaching wait staff to know when the menu allows certain foods to be ordered, AND served!!! I dont know if he hadnt said anything if those eggs would have set in the window another hour until my order came up or if they didnt even put it in. Someone along the chain between order, paying, placing the order with Cook and management, should have told him to order something else. Service should get a zero on this day!
Generally this is an acceptable dining experience however, this last visit was anything but. The service was so bad that we were constantly having to remind our server to bring us our drinks, biscuits and silverware. They even left our order (incomplete) on a tray next to our table that we had to serve ourselves. Granted, our server was first day solo and was drowning. I wouldnt be surprised if he quit after that very day. I dont blame him but management who should have had someone shadow him to assist him whenever he got bogged down. Still gave him a tip however, the food was cold so well be giving CB a wide berth fo awhile.
Service was very poor. It was a busy friday night yet they failed at the service they provided and it got pretty frustrating.Wet table (from bad smelling rags), Food with no silverware, food with several incomplete sides and they came out once we finished our meals. Missing dessert came out once everyone else was finished.
Portions on the chicken fingers look more like pigeon fingers ridiculously small compared to the past. I had not eaten at a Cracker Barrel for years because of this and pieces parts fried pork chops (not a solid piece of meat, a slice of a loaf made from small pieces of meat). We went back, because my wife likes the chicken and dumplings. The problems mentioned above are still a problem and I believe the sides portions are even smaller.
The wait was well worth it! A manager seated us and he (Adrian) was very pleasant and fun to interact with. Lauren did a phenomenal job serving us. She brought everything we requested quickly. The food was nice and hot. Those of the staff we interacted with or walked by was very nice and greeted us. The last experience (at a different location) was awful and made me question whether to go to another Cracker Barrel but this location redeemed the chain. Great job!
After years of not being able to visit ( I havent visited since my husband passed 5 years ago) I decided to use a tiny piece of my stimulus check and treat myself on a yummy Cracker Barrel breakfast.Ive always loved it, and my family has eaten there for generations. My daughter grew up there. So did my granddaughter. We took grandma for years until she passed, as well as an elderly aunt.I was pleasantly surprised by the eagerness of the staff. Everything neatly organized according to covid protocol. Bravo! My server was wonderful. She was quick, smiling, enthusiastic and offered to put my coffee refill in a to go cup. Im sorry I forgot her name.My Mommas Pancake Breakfast was, as I remembered, delicious.I am so glad we can all relax a little again and go out.Thank you for being a mainstay in my family.Margaretha TownMarietta
On Monday it seemed like we had to wait 30 minutes to Order then an hour after our Meals were ordered. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad.Husband ordered Meatloaf w/ the sides.Grilled Chicken sliced looked like it came from a bag it was barely warm and so was his. I NEVER was brought out Crackers and it comes with it. He had to flag down our Waitress & ask from some then our Waitress only brought 2! He had to flag our Waitress down for them. He had to ask Samuel for a Refill.that was
The food was great, however the curbside service was terrible. The food was put in one bag and crushed causing the juice from the dumplings to spill out and the green beans juices to spill out. I spoke with the manager, he offered to fully replace my order. I said fine but did not take him up on it because I believe that once you complain some of the servers will get angry and mess with your food.

2022-05-13We visited on a early Saturday morning. Everyone was happy and energetic. Our breakfast was delicious 🤤 enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was very helpful offering recommendations. Alot of old memorabilia hangs on the walls giving this place a cool aura. My experience was overall good. Everything was expected another cool chain restaurant. Would definitely recommend checking out the gift shop before you leave. You will find something that fits you.

2022-03-12What’s not to love?Who doesn’t like to be catered to and tended to with utmost respect and care. It’s our classic Cracker Barrel. She brings us back to mommas cooking filled with memories by a crackling fire or rocking chairs outside. I’ll always love my Cracker Barrel. With that said, everything was a 10/10. This rating includes the cashiers, the hostess, our waitress and managers. Everything was a 10/10 excluding the bathroom as it was quite dirty with urine on the floor.

2021-10-31When we are traveling we always try to dine at Cracker Barrel. Down home cooking for sure. Our 4 star (only the top servers can earn 4 stars) Oscar was great! Quick, efficient and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the tossed garden salad with chicken and dumplings. She had the fried chicken and green beans and baby carrots. They were stocking up for the holidays. Especially festive was the Christmas trees. Stop by and see Oscar.

2022-04-17Very bad experience. Overall food wasnt hot at all. My wifes pot roast didnt have gravy on it. My pancake breakfast was missing pecans in the pancakes per my order. When they brought replacement pancakes out, they had carrots and green onions in the them.Never saw that before. Wife had to wait 10 minutes after asking for a knife to cut her pot roast and she never received a refill on her arnold palmer. Very poor food and server experience today

2021-12-03Ordered Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving food was delicious but they burned the dressing but the manager was nice and gave us a whole pan. One of the best Thanksgiving we had very very stress free and the food was good. My vote is to order catering and get an extra side of cranberry sauce

2022-07-08My classic obsession, hashbrown casserole, is made exponentially better, in the Hashbrown Casserole Tots. Cheesy tots with cheese on top? Yes please. The new Cheesecake Stuffed pancake fed my soul and eased the ache of poached eggs and eggs in the basket disappearing from the menu, just like our amazingly delightful waitress said it would. Excellent service, excellent food, we will return!

2022-05-07We had to wait a lil over 30 minutes to be sat but Im guessing everyone wants to come so an early mothers day lunch so its expected. We did have to wait 6 minutes for our waitress to come which she would disappear sometimes but when she did come she was really sweet. All in all it was a great experience and would come back.

2022-01-11Our wait person was wonderful. I wish I could tell you her name. It met, a beautiful flower 🌺.We were so grateful for her service. The only down fall was , we ordered Mac and cheese and it came out ice cold three times. We ended up taking home a hot one finally. I asked for water and it took some time to come. I do not want to complain I and my husband was grateful for our service, we know that times are hard on food business due to the lack of staff. We are grateful.
