I always get great service at Credit Union of Georgia, Canton branch. The staff is friendly and professional. I recently set up a car loan and the branch manager, Jason Blakey, took care of everything. The whole experience was honestly the best.
The entire staff is and always has been amazing! Sara is wonderful and is so helpful with everything. Any time I have a question or need a loan she is my go-to, she makes it super easy, fast and efficient, and she is always pleasant to deal with. Thank you Sara!!!!
My wife and I have never had anything but great experiences with the Credit Union of Georgia. Jason Blakey takes the time to review and present information clearly and answers questions in detail. Update Review: My account had multiple fraud attempts, however thanks to CUOFGA, they recognized the charges as fraud and blocked them from my account before they caused damage or I ever knew there was an issue. I was able to easily contact the fraud department and confirm all fraud charges. Jason Blakey was efficient on making sure no other transaction attempts posted to my account. I love banking with Credit Union of Georgia. I have been a member for over 20 years. Whether going to the bank in person or contacting them via phone or email, their customer service has always been great. I have always received the help I have needed immediately, especially at the Canton branch thanks to Jason Blakey. CUGA has met all our financial needs with no hidden fees.
Always enjoy banking with this branch of CU of GA. This morning bright and early, Michele had the bubbliest and friendliest personality while being professional all the while. The employees always remember your request and repeat to insure they have it correct. They are always quick to serve with pleasing personalities. Great branch to do business with!

I am beyond appalled! I have always traveled to this specific bank and have never had a problem. Usually has great customer service and are very kind but the gentleman by the name of “Lopez” was very rude. I was asking about my new upcoming debit card and that I haven’t received it yet because my debit card was about to expire and as I was explaining it, he gave me a dirty look and put his had in the air for me to stop talking. I tried to explain to him that I called the support phone number and they told me I was supposed to receive my card 3-4 months ahead of time and he said I was wrong. That is extremely unprofessional. I work in retail and you should NEVER do that to a customer! I am most certainly not coming back to this bank. I definitely don’t recommend anyone to talk to “Lopez”.Update: I got a call from the owner and we worked things out and he was very kind and mature.
Banking the way it used to be! Jason and his team provide incredible customer service each and every time you visit the branch whether it is to make a simple transaction or to work on a loan. You are always greeted with a smile the minute you walk through the door. Very proud to be a CUGA member.
Amanda Davis is a true professional!She successfully worked on three new accounts for me all while being helpful , courteous & very responsive. I highly recommend Amanda & CU of GA.
STAY AWAY!! Closing my account is the best thing I ever did. I overdrafted with a bunch of $1-3 food purchases where I accrued a $30 fee on each transaction. I anticipated only one overdraft fee but apparently If have a list of transactions placed on hold and were due to post at 8am on the same day, the biggest payments are taken out of the account first so you have 6 overdraft fees instead of one. Pretty sure that is considered fraud. Drove 45 miles after a 12hr night shift and waited in the parking lot for them to open for an hour to speak with branch manager in canton. I was hoping they could spare me just a few fees and brought money on hand to put my account back in the positive. He just dismissed me from his office telling me hed give me a call in two hours. He never called and wouldnt answer his office phone going to voicemail and left messages and still no call back. He made me feel like I was worthless even when I poured my heart on my position trying to keep afloat as a single parent of two, things I didnt need to disclose. What a horrible experience!! I cant believe I spent 5 years as a member with them. I paid those money hungry corporate pigs and closed my account, never to look back. Family Savings Credit Union took my business and I love them! Such nice caring folks, I dont feel uneasy walking in there to speak to anyone.
Michele Reitz, just like everyone at the Canton CUofGA, proved to be very helpful in retrieving the confirmation of a check clearing that was not an easy task in our situation. She was persistent in her quest and kind. I am thankful that I walked into this branch. Canton and Towne Lake branches are great!
I wanted to change my car mortgage over from Wells Fargo to the Federal Credit Union of Georgia. It just took about 35 minutes, lowered my payment, and cost no additional money. Wonderful decision.

Worse bank Ive been to!! Went to this bank to try and open a checking account. Customer service was rude from the start. I sat down to wait for a banker and was called by the front desk lady to be asked in a rude way for my name. After giving her my name multiple times she finally said somebody will be there. Sat down for thirty minutes while hearing the bankers laugh and giggle never even acknowledged me sitting there. Worst place!! Ill take business elsewhere!!

2022-03-01I have been with Credit Union of Georgia for just over 6 years and they’ve always been so great to work with. The Riverstone Pkwy branch is my go-to and Michelle there is greatest! Everyone is always so kind and easy to talk to and work with. Can’t say enough good things about the whole organization!

2022-01-07I recently moved from FL to GA and started the journey of “With whom will I bank?” I wanted the bank to have hometown feeling displayed by the staff. I asked for suggestions from family and friends knowing we mostly use online banking but I was purchasing a home and had questions. I walked into a few banks and credit unions and felt like I would just be a number. I walked into CUOG in Canton and was immediately acknowledged by the staff. I met with Shelby Ussery and knew I had found my bank. Ms. Ussery was not only professional but friendly. She answered all my questions and made me feel as if I was banking with family. All financial institutions should remind their staff that they are the face of their bank. Thank you Shelby and CUOG!

I just wish that I had someone with the same work ethics and integrity to work in my agency like him. Thank you Jason for putting up with me. You are truly a professional. 2020-12-29We have been members of the Credit Union for over 20 years. The Canton branch has always exceeded our expectations with their service and the programs they offer. After being laid off in 2009, we were fortunate to have built relationships with the great staff at the Canton branch. Since that time, we have gotten back on our feet with the help of the services and programs they offer. Thankfully today, we are gainfully employed again and financially stable during these tough current times. In todays world, big banks arent concerned with relationship building just what other fee they can charge you!That is why we choose to bank at Credit Union of Georgia (Canton Branch) Thank you

2021-02-02I have been a member of Credit Union of Georgia for 20 years. I have a personal and business account and have had several auto loans over the years. Recently, Amanda Davis and Jason Walker helped me navigate the Small Business Administration PPP loan program in rounds 1 and 2. Their customer service is nothing less than spectacular! I’ve had nothing but awesome experiences with CUofGA, and I highly recommend them for all financial needs.

2019-12-13I love Credit Union of Georgia. I’ve been a member for several years. One of the many things I appreciate is the personal attention you receive when you walk in. Everyone has a positive attitude. I love the way they know my name and make me feel welcome and special. You don’t get that type of personal attention in a other banks. Branch manager Jason Blakey and his staff are THE BEST.

2020-11-24I have been so pleased with the service provided by various personnel at the Credit Union. Though I have been a business customer since the beginning of the year, this month I have had numerous and various interactions with different people at the Credit Union……in person at my home office in Canton, in person at the Woodstock office, over the phone with customer service, and via email with technical personnel. In all cases everyone has been so knowledgeable and helpful which has made my job as a business owner that much easier, which I truly appreciate! Thanks again!

2019-11-20I have had nothing but great experiences with Jason and the staff at CUofGA. I have had approximately ten different loans through them and every time the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the process is easy and fast. The Canton branch even helped me work a deal with another person by making the paperwork available at a different branch to fit my needs that day. Thank you for always taking great care of us.
