CVS in other cities:
Rude. Terrible experience. I went to the CVS today at 6:45pm because I had a 7pm appointment for my vaccine. When I got there, the pharmacist said that there were no vaccines given after 5pm. I insisted that I had an appointment. She said, That shouldnt have happened. But it did happen. I explained that I had gone to a lot of trouble to get there. She raised her voice and SNAPPED, Im here by myself. I cant help you. She didnt offer any other assistance. She didnt help me make another appointment. She didnt say that she was sorry about the mix up. I left feeling very deflated. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE.
Booked a covid test days in advance and had to walk into the pharmacy (was supposed to be a drive thru test) at my appointment slot just to find out that all the technicians were out sick. I was told by an employee that it wasnt their issue after asking her advice on places I could look for testing at and had to find testing elsewhere myself which is fine. I finally got the cancellation notice of my appointment an hour AFTER my appointment slot.
I’ve been coming to this pharmacy since 2015. I’m there once a month to pick up my 2 regular prescriptions I get most of my vaccinations here too. They know me when I walk in and have always been very helpful. I’ve had a few different insurances over the years and they’ve always been great about letting me know what my insurance covers versus how many months of meds they’ll cover. The insurance aspect of my condition is such a pain, but they make it easier to understand.
The pharmacists-when I can reach them-are v good, but reaching them is difficult. Right now, Ive been on hold for 26 minutes trying to reach the pharmacy department to figure out why my medication is in progress still 2 weeks from when the script was written.Update: still good pharmacists, still too long wait. Today been on hold for 1 hour 2 minutes and waiting.
After several months of picking up prescriptions from this location and having nothing but positive experiences with friendly staff, I feel the need to commend them especially after todays experience. A hostile woman (who barged into the store, unmasked, and cut in front of other customers to speak to the pharmacist) started loudly and condescendingly berating all members of the staff for some issue with her prescription. Multiple pharmacy members explained the situation and politely described that they were waiting for approval for a transfer from another location, after noting that nothing has yet changed since she had come in previously--the last three days in a row. She continued her condescension and stated that her prescription was different somehow, despite their assurances that the barcode was scanned into the system and portrayed the correct information, and that No matter what the system says, you dont know. You cant know that. Who knows how long the interaction continued in this vein, but everything I overheard was rude from her part and never once less than respectful on their behalf. The multiple staff who spoke with her were absolutely as polite, kind, and understanding as humanly possible--much more so than she deserved. I was awed by their obvious respect for all customers, even those who do not treat them with a shred of decency in return; fully expecting this woman to make some fuss about the situation (online or elsewhere), I just wanted to give perspective to the situation from an uninvolved third party bystander.
Pharmacist Review Only.I am grateful to have this pharmacy near my home. The pharmacists, Philip and Stephen are the best I have ever come across. Even on days when things are hectic, they provide outstanding customer service and support. I have been a customer since July 2014 and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend both Philip and Stephen for your pharmacy needs. Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Understanding, it is a pleasure doing business with them. See for yourself, pay them a visit.
I went for covid testing, had an appointment for 3:30 on a Sunday. I arrived around 3:20, but was confused where to go as the instructions were vague and this was my first time testing at CVS. After circling around I finally got in line at the Pharmacy Drive-thru, and call the store (instructions had said to not go in). They said it was indeed through the Pharmacy Drive-thru. There was one person ahead of me, who took about 5 minutes. I was seen right on time at 3:30. The process is very easy - the person gives you a bag through the pharmacy drop box, and you administer the test yourself. You then drive up to another box to put your test into. Overall it was a quick and relatively easy experience, I just wish it was a little better communicated and illustrated that its through the drive thru.
DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. They could care less about customer service or social distancing. On a visit earlier this evening, I noticed they have their self check out machines side by side less than 2 feet apart so I chose to wait. Turns out they expect you to use BOTH.A female worker there asked me why I wasnt going to the other machine and I told her I was waiting until the person ahead of me was finished to keep a distance. She was annoyed, opened a register and took the person behind me instead of me. So I went next and mentioned she should have taken me first. She just ignored me and continued ringing up my items while I was explaining why I didnt use the second checkout machine.Ill be contacting the Department of Public Health tomorrow. No one should be treated that way while making an effort to stay SAFE. Especially at a pharmacy of all places.

2022-04-06First time here. Located in Buckhead. This place is HUGE!!! They have sections of items and clear signage, not just barely stocked aisles like in Decatur. The staff was friendly, helpful and it was very bright and clean. They do have a self checkout for faster service. Check out my pics and video for more info.

2022-05-03The worst experience I’ve had at CVS or any pharmacy. Came to get my booster shot. The pharmacist Allana told me she was too busy so I was going to have to wait one hour past my appointment to get my shot (!). Phone kept ringing and nobody answered, lots of people waiting that had called their prescriptions 5 hours earlier and still had to put up with her attitude.@CVS this lady mistreated and disrespected virtually every customer she came in contact with. She shouldn’t allowed be anywhere near your customers. I won’t come back to this store (CVS #05731). Ever.

2022-07-06The rudest pharmacist Ive ever encountered. Refused to give me my booster shot because I was upset. She created the situation. After scheduling an appointment in advance, arriving 5 minutes in early, checking in with phone as instructed, I waited 20 minutes past appointment time being ignored by staff. I then waited in the pick-up line to inform them I had an appointment. The immediate response was to blame me for the wait. She claimed to have called out to anyone waiting, but I never heard her. If she did call out it was from the back of the pharmacy not near the counter. I was watching counter expecting someone to call me for shot. When I questioned when she called out because I had been sitting in plain view for over 25 minutes. She said I was too upset and would have to come back another day.

2022-05-07I came in at 10 and the gentleman told me to come back at 2 because my prescriptions were not ready even tho they were sent in 2 days ago. I arrived at 2:50 and my prescriptions still weren’t ready. Allana quickly said they aren’t ready under her breath then just moved on to the next customer I had to ask her what she said just to make sure she was even talking to me. The attitude throughout the whole transaction was just rude and dismissive and I honestly wouldn’t want the people at this location handling medications. This is the closest cvs to my house but I’ll have to just drive farther out for better service.

2022-03-05Update: The pharmacy staff remains great, but the phone system is horrible. Ive been trying to get a person for 4 hours, and I get through the many layers of the robot person only to have my call cut off.Excellent pharmacy staff; great communicators and friendly. Popular, which means sometimes a long phone time wait and if you do drive-through avoid busy hours :)

2022-05-09I would never go back here. Last night I was a couple minutes past close. They were still there but wouldn’t give me my medication even though I wasn’t feeling well. They told me to come back at 10. I came back at 10 AM on the dot and the pharmacist had called out- no one could get behind the counter or help me get a transfer. They said they would call me and let me know when someone got there so I could pick up my rx. No call. No follow up. Very incompetent and will never go back to this location.

2022-02-23Via phone, Pharmacy said Rx would be available in an hour. Arrived hour and half later and still not available. Followed up with automated system over three hours later and still not available. Always had great service at the CVS across from Piedmont Hospital, but not at this location.

2022-04-13The pharmacy is ridiculously understaffed. There is 2-3 people working trying to answer phones, admister shots, check people out, answer questions and fill prescriptions. Whoever manages this place should be embarrassed. They should be here helping their staff or hire enough people so they can do their job efficiently. Instead you put 2-3 employees in a situation to be overwhelmed, talked down to by impatient customers that have legit reasons to be frustrated. Your basically putting them in an in abusive work environment because you can’t put together a schedule or help your employees. I’m watching them work as fast as they can with 10 customers standing around complaining wondering what the problem is complaining why they can’t get their prescriptions. It’s really sad to watch because most people put all the blame on the employees in front of them when they are actually doing a great job given the situation.People are raising there voice being extremely agressive and impatient while these employees are moving as fast as they can. If you are short staffed maybe step up, show up , stay late and help your employees instead of letting them get mentally/verbally abusedI understand if this happens occasionally but I come here 1-2 times a month and it’s the same thing..I’m not exactly sure why I keep coming back besides I’ve been using them for 10 years and it’s never been this bad.

2022-03-24The female working the drive thru this evening March 23, 2022, was extremely rude for no reason at all. Terrible customer experience. She told me my prescription was not ready, I proceeded to call and it was indeed ready. And she had a horrible attitude from the beginning.
