CVS in other cities:
If you want to call for help and have an angry pharmacist hang up on you over a one month refill on an uncontrolled substance and leave you stranded during a pandemic... then go here... Otherwise, go anywhere else. These pharmacists are rude, unhelpful and need to be removed from their jobs. Period. I just lost hours of my life trying to get help for nothing.
Easily the nicest staff and most effective service of any CVS Ive been to, or any big box pharmacy for that matter. Ive never had any issues with prescriptions, the front staff are super sweet, and the store is in good order. Were likely moving out of Grant Park soon but Id continue driving to this CVS just because there are never any issues.
I was a little nervous ordering my prescriptions here based upon the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pharmacy staff was delightful, they were extremely helpful and easy to work with, filled my prescriptions while I waited and specially ordered a medication that they did not stock. Highly recommend this store.
Its weird because Ive never felt compelled to write a review for a drug store but I love this CVS. The people at the pharmacy are always kind as well as the staff at the front registers. They always say hello when you walk in, which is rare nowadays. The best thing about this place is that they always seem to have what I need.
Listen, this is what it is. It is a neighborhood convenience store, that is open 24x7, 365 days per year. When my kid has a cold, or I have a sore throat, it is fantastic that this place is close by.Ive never felt unsafe here. The staff are always friendly, and welcome you into the store. There are sometimes loiterers out front, so be aware. The pharmacy is just fine, it is the one I use for everything I need. They have cut down on hours, so be sure to look at times they are open (7 days per week, but some days not as long as others).
Never had a problem here at this CVS before into today. At the pharmacy the young lady for pick up seems to not be able to keep up. I was asked to wait a couple minutes for my childs medicine which turned to 30mins. After four customers after me got their medicine I asked if it was ready. She rung everything up without using my childs insurance. After making the mistake I was asked to wait again. This time 20mins. I had enough and left without my childs medicine. Got to do better when training new people. Where was her help????
Horrible customer service skills. Rude cashiers. Argue with you about honoring a price that is shown online with THEIR STORE SELECTED. forwards, backwards, sideways any way you look at it... CVS is CVS and should honor their advertised prices. Steer clear of Danny the cashier. Rudest person you could possibly come across.
One of the worst pharmacy’s in Atlanta. Don’t waste your time. They will NEVER answer the phone. They constantly fill my prescriptions with a cheap off brand that I do not ask for so I have to physically go up there for them to fix it every. Single. Month. They are the worst. I am moving to a new pharmacy and I suggest you do too. Don’t waste your time
I am a regular customer here and a new lady by the name of crystal has just started working front in as customer service. For the last two times I have entered into th store I have noticed she didn’t greet me so I stayed in just to see was it just me are was it everybody. I watched as a business black lady came in, she spoke and then another black crowd came in and she didn’t speak. As each white person came in she greeted them; I think this very prejudice and she is giving the store a bad look. When I come into this Cvs I am always greeted no matter what I look like are what I wear and for Crystal to look over some and not greet us makes me feel very unappreciated as a customer...
The pharmacy reveals private personal information loudly & repeatedly in front of other customers. Frequently they fill the prescription incorrectly, they cant find it in the computer system, nor when its sitting on the shelf right behind them. On top of all their incompetence are literally hours-long wait times, everyone just standing around waiting for the extremely rude pharmacists to figure out how to do their jobs. We used to spend too much money here just for the convenience of getting other things when picking up our prescriptions. The pharmacists here have cost CVS thousands of annual dollars from just us, we know others who have switched too! Avoid even if you have the plague, bubonic is better than dealing with them. I will say there is one woman behind the pharmacy counter who is great: shes kind, competent, helps you find discounts you didnt know you could get, I feel terrible that she has to be lumped into this review. I hope she finds a job that pays her better and will be surrounded by people who arent awful.
Since May 23rd, 2015, I have been trying to get a prescription filled at a CVS pharmacy. My company’s prescription coverage requires that I use CVS for my medications in order to pay only my co-pay. To date I have visited CVS stores #4684, #2175, #4600, #4604, #7336, #3878, #4723, and #7312.Despite my driving around Atlanta and going to EIGHT locations, I have yet to find a store with the medication I need in stock, able to order it in a timely manner (I’ve been quoted two weeks as a wait time), or an employee with the ability to call around to other CVS pharmacies to locate my prescribed medication. I even requested this medication be ordered on May 23rd when I first began seeking it, but it was not ordered and now that pharmacy manager is no longer able to do so (see paragraph 4).This medication is a CII narcotic, and is generally prescribed for those affected by/with ADHD. I now have been out of this medication since May 29th, 2015. The complications that arise from suddenly discontinuing a medication such as this after taking it daily for six years are not only psychological, but physical, and potentially detrimental to my health and well-being.While I understand that not every pharmacy can keep every medication available in stock, eight times now I have been appalled by the lack of customer service and willingness to alleviate the situation I am in. Because this is a CII, I cannot call stores asking about their supply on-hand (or apparent lack thereof). Nor will any employee call any other CVS pharmacy, citing store policy. I have also been told by several pharmacists at various locations that only the manager can order these medications, and that they are on vacation or are quitting and have relinquished their authority to do so.My ultimate concern and complaint is this: Who is CVS hiring that they do not trust their own employees to call fellow stores and inquire about medication stock? Why is the ordering of narcotics limited to one person who may or may not be available to order them? I work in pharmacy myself, and I know from experience that when a manager is out, the power to order narcotics using a “222” form is to be signed over to another pharmacist in their absence. Again, citing store policy, I have been told that is against CVS protocol.Due to your store policies, and my prescription coverage provider holding a contract with CVS, I cannot access medication that has made a huge positive difference in my life, and am left numb, yet somehow shocked, that there is no way for me to take care of my own body. What will you do to correct this? When will you begin to hire employees you can trust to provide customer service to those who are forced to use your pharmacy? I am asking for a resolution, but based on the treatment I have received from eight stores thus far, I won’t hold my breath.I am beyond disgusted at these policies and practices and ask that you correct them immediately. The Better Business Bureau is one email away, and while I’m one person, I know I am not the only person who has dealt with these issues.
The store has a nice selection at this location, but the pharmacy staff are inefficient and incompetent, with exceptionally bad customer service skills. As a health care professional and as a customer, this is the worst pharmacy that I have encountered. I would recommend making this a last choice for your pharmacy needs.
Ordered some points for pickup, they didnt fill the order and didnt call citing that someone should call but it isnt their responsibility because it was a different shift. Day 3: no refund and no prints, no helpfulness so I will be calling head quarters. I have generally been disappointed with ServIces coming out of this cvs, the lack of ownership and professional courtesy.
We were at Zoo Atlanta today when my seven year old son was stung by a wasp and had an allergic reaction. We were unaware of his sensitivity until today. The closest place to find help was the CVS on Boulevard. We walked to the pharmacy and Pharmacist, Okoduwa was very attentive by showing a sense of urgency toward my son. He asked several questions and provided counseling. He offered my son liquid Benedryl and suggested we go to an urgent care facility. It is a good thing we did as Okoduwa suggested, as the reaction was intensifying. My son is doing a lot better this evening. Thanks Okoduwa!
Ordered photos online , waited the 2 hours to go pick them up.... was asked my name , and last to verify my order. Employee looked through the orders, then was told the machine was broken, Id have to go somewhere else. Employee then walked away. No sorry, here let me see if i can find another store locally where you can get them, nothing.

2022-02-11The women that work behind the register here are some of the most loud rude and unprofessional people I have ever seen in a CVS. I came in with my CHILD to buy her some candy. I was met with a barrage of cursing laughing and screaming from behind the front counter. They didn’t even look like employees. On top of that they where ignoring all of the customers in line. I’ll never shop at CVS. Again. What a messy place This has become.

2022-05-21Pharmacy never answers the phone. The only voice you’ll hear is fromthe automatic bot advising you when they take their break. I used to work for CVS and when we were busy we always made sure to answer the phone and AT LEAST acknowledged customers and placed them on hold. This location just doesn’t want to answer phone let alone acknowledge patients.

2022-01-11This is one of the worst pharmacies around when you need to refill or have a question about your prescription. I was on hold for nearly an hour waiting to speak to a pharmacist to confirm my medication refill. The lease they could do is acknowledge that they are busy and somebody would be with you shortly. Thats UNACCEPTABLE!!!

2022-05-03UPDATE: some noticeable changes have occurred here & I am more willing to give it a chance now. What on Earth is going on here? Ive been calling for 2 days, waiting on hold as long a 20 minutes & no one is answering. Is there any management here? This pharmacy is so much closer to me than the one on Caroline, but I guess its Caroline St.

2021-10-15Trying to get a prescription refilled as been a nightmare! This is my second month on a new prescription, I have 3 valid refills (not expired) remaining yet it hasnt been filled yet because it is out of refills and pending doctor authorization. This continues to happen and they correct it immediately when I call but as of lately they dont actually answer the phone. I need to get this by tomorrow and have tried calling twice today, waiting over an hour on hold with no answer. How do I get this filled???

2021-12-28Stunningly dirty and disorganized store with very unprofessional and unresponsive staff - even in the pharmacy section. A steep departure from what I’ve come to expect from other CVS locations in Atlanta.

2021-04-21For some reason CVS the company as a whole believe they should control when you get your medication not your doctor. So if you bring your prescription to them late one month and then try to renew it the next month it doesn’t matter what fill date your doctor put on there. CVS pharmacy decide when they will refill it. I’m assuming if something happened to you because you did not have your medication on time per your doctors prescription because they refused to fill it. Well then that would make them liable for litigation?

2021-09-28Quite possibly (and without a hint of hyperbole) the worst CVS in all of Atlanta metro. Dumpy, unkempt, windowless, and smaller than the size of a Dominos pizza shop. This store reminds me of the basement from the end of The Silence Of The Lambs. Except that basement felt more inviting (Buffalo Bill was also way friendlier than anyone on the staff here). There is no drive thru and the pharmacy staff is basically a rotating door of employees who obviously cant stand their jobs (theyve clearly given up on answering phones - Source: I sat in the store and called the location itself from inside. The staff actively encouraged ignoring the calls - It was wild - mostly because it was hardly busy). On a truly serious note, it is alarming that this CVS holds medications hostage (if you have a controlled substance for a legit medical condition, forget it - I cannot speak to how many times Ive been told their shipments are coming in next week, or some ridiculous excuse). I feel bad for elderly or incapacitated individuals who are unable to patch through to the staff. This is a location that needs to be revamped and/or gentrified ASAP.

2021-03-26I went inside today 3/26/21 to print photos from my mother’s surprise 70th party. My reception was so bad on my phone Megan in customer service went upon and beyond to help me as the photos load on my for to 100% until I received my confirmation that CVS photo lab! I really appreciate her service today, b/c she could have went on with her other task while my phone slowing uploading.
