CVS in other cities:
Zero initiative in terms of trying to make pharmacy pickups an efficient process. Numerous times have been told to come back later even though we give ample time to process.Today’s latest adventure consisted of standing in line for 15-minutes to just be told that there was an error in filling the prescription, and then having to wait another 20 for them to correct it.Not a fan of negative reviews but awful.
Waited 45 minutes and still had to walk out without my prescription. What on earth are these people doing? I was told at 11am that my prescription would be ready in the afternoon. I showed up at 5, the line was 6 people deep which took 20 minutes to then be told that mine wasn’t even ready. They said give us a few minutes. I finally walked out the door at 5:45 extremely frustrated. This is not the first time this location has failed to deliver. Looking into online options because I don’t have hours to waste picking up prescriptions. Brick and mortar will die in the next few years unless they can figure out how to deliver on promises every. Single. Time.
The worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. Called because the other nearby CVS didnt have my prescription. Was on hold for five minutes. This pharmacy didnt have it either so I asked if a different generic could replace it. Was on hold another five minutes before someone picked up and said the phones were messed up and I might get disconnected - immediately after after, I hear a click. Extremely suspect. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back. Waited on hold another few minutes before just hanging up. Do yourself a favor and go to the CVS pharmacy about a mile away on Peachtree. I called them after this awful experience and the pharmacist or pharmacy tech I was working with was wonderful and helped me in just a few minutes - no problems whatsoever.
Extremely slow. Takes forever to pick up phone calls.Had another pharmacy call to see if they had prescriptions in stock, they verbally confirmed. Show up & they say no, we never even received a call. They say it will be in by 9am next day.Call next day to confirm its there. Show up, nope. Not here. End up waiting 4 days before they finally have it.
This experience was the worst I have ever had with a pharmacy. I was told at 11:00 that it would be 15-20 minutes but I was already late for work so I came back three hours later and my prescription had still not been filled. When I addressed this, Peggy very unapologetically said that nothing she said would make me feel better. I witnessed her rudeness several times with several of the customers that had been waiting like me. I also witnessed the pharmacist huffing and puffing while processing the medication and throwing things about. Just very very unprofessional and so very rude. Im inclined to avoid CVS as a whole because of this awful experience.
The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They don’t listen to their voicemails and my doctor had to call the pharmacy twice to get my prescription in. I waited an additional 30 minutes for my prescription when I got to the counter and knew I was there and failed to complete my prescription in a timely manner, all while knowing I was waiting for it. So unprofessional.
Dirty, low stock, unstocked, disorganized, sketchy, uninterested and nonengaged employees. If I can go anywhere else I do. I can see this store from my condo. I drive past it to Brookhaven Walgreens it’s so bad. Every time I think I’ll give it another shot, I’m reminded why I don’t patronize this CVS. First impression when you enter the store is your stepping into a dark whole from the 90s. I’ve been there 4 times. Each time I was looking for something specific like today I wanted a 24 pack of AA Duracell’s. It looked like a natural disaster had hit Atlanta. No large packs stocked. Employee did not check stock. I left again having bought something that is not really what I wanted. This store needs to be remodeled, Managment replaced and employees trained on customer service or replaced.
On more than a dozen occasions I’ve witnessed and experienced the pharmacy employees show complete apathy for their job. I don’t leave many reviews but I’ve finally reached the point that I’m no longer filling my Rx here any more. I suggest that corporate or management do a secret shopper experiment and see for themselves.
No surprise that this location has 2 out of 5 stars. There is almost always a wait and the few times there’s not, it takes up to 3-4 minutes before someone comes over to help. Today, I stood in line to get my wife’s prescription. When I got to the pharmacist, I was told it was called into a different location. Fine, no biggie. Either our fault or the doctor’s fault. I was then told it would just be a couple mins as a new line was forming so I stood to the side to be polite. About ten mins later, they said it was ready. I asked where to pay and she said “you can wait in line.” I questioned them- asking if I had to stand in line a second time. Yep. So after I was considerate to step aside and let others go, I then found myself fourth in line again. When I was next to be waited on, one of two pharmacists (Veeta) walked away even after she listened me question it in the first place. When I finally got to the register, I again asked if this is how they typically treat customers. I asked Veeta why she walked away when she clearly heard me ask if I had to stand in line again. Her response: “We have other customers here.” Sure, but is that a reason to treat me like this? I told Dawn, the other cashier that we wouldn’t be filling our prescriptions here any longer. Her response: “That’s fine.”If they treat enough people like this, they won’t be serving any customers as I would hope they’d be out of a job. There are many other better run pharmacies within a mile of this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one.
Got a text that my prescription was ready. Went to pick it up three days later and after waiting 30 min was told that it hadn’t even been filled and had to wait even longer to finally get my prescription. If you value your time, get your prescription filled somewhere else.

2021-11-13I had appointment with COVID-19 booster shot at this pharmacy store. When I arrived the store, a lady guided me to the pharmacy department. An Asian girl asked me to show her COVID-19 vaccine record card, then she help me finished booster shot. She is kind and professional. The service is quick and satisfactory. I will recommend this pharmacy store.

2021-03-09The pharmacy staff at this location is awful. Zero customer service skills. Whenever we go to pick up our prescription, we are always greeted by someone rude, and the wait time is always very long. This evening, we went to pick up medication for our baby, it was 10 minutes before closing time, and they refused to get it for us! They couldnt wait 2 minutes for us to get change from the front register, which we had to do because their computers were down! Made the mistake several times, but will never return again.

2020-11-24As a physician I expect more courtesy than what I received from pharmacy staff member Lonnie, who was poor at listening to my question and then rude in her response. I take patient care very seriously, and after speaking with another staff member Stephanie was able to get the right treatment for my patient (from a different CVS store). Ill be sure to send my patients to another store as long as this behavior doesnt change.

2020-03-10This review is for the pharmacy only. I’ve had mostly positive experiences with the rest of the store. I’ve honestly never been one to fill prescriptions at CVS; to me they are the most expensive drugstore. I prefer to save money where I can and medications can get pricey. For some reason unknown to me, my insurance carrier has decided to only offer refills for contraception through CVS. Since birth control is free to me anyway, I didn’t see it being too much of an inconvenience, just another store to stop by when running errands.I don’t know if the staff is overworked and underpaid or just generally despise what they do, but those pill handlers are downright mean. When I can’t hear someone on the phone and say “Excuse me, I’m sorry; what did you say?” I expect at pretty much any business in the country to hear someone cordially repeat what they said. Well, let me tell you, these people do not have time to repeat themselves and huff and puff and raise their voice to make sure you know to never ask again. I also waited on hold for a good ten minutes before a human being answered (well, I think they were!). There was no apology for the wait, no kind greeting. It was the bare bones basic what do you need conversation that would probably be more pleasant with a drug dealer! I’m putting my obligatory CVS medication on mail order to avoid the wrath of CVS staff for having to deal with customers at the most basic level.CVS needs to hire nicer people, or be nicer to their employees, because they are rude and intimidating and certainly don’t want to be bothered by a single person, even during quiet hours. If you’re a tender heart like me, you may want to avoid CVS Pharmacy altogether. I don’t think the most stressful part of my day should be calling in a prescription. I will say I’ve had bad experiences at multiple locations, so maybe they need to add another person to each shift. Maybe these people are just too inundated to even repeat a sentence. I’m glad my days aren’t that intense.Take your prescriptions to Publix instead. They are prompt, courteous and often refer to customers by name. No matter the time of day or how busy they are, they are always kind and caring. CVS doesn’t want you anyway!

2019-10-16The employees literally ignore people waiting to pick up prescriptions. I waited for 30 minutes in line just to have them tell me that my prescription wasnt ready even though it was two hours passed the pick up time. They said I could wait and it would be expedited. I waited. They called my name. Went up to the counter and no one came. Was told by another customer that I had to go in line all over again and that the same had happened to him.Their notification system doesnt work either. I dont get texts anymore, my prescriptions arent auto filled, and they dont even update the site when they get prescriptions from my doctor. So on my end, it just looks like the doctor didnt do their job by sending the scripts. So I end up calling the doctor only to be told they sent them to the cvs the day before. This CVS also doesnt pick up the phone. Its happened to me multiple times. And Ive witnessed them doing this to others in store as well.

2020-04-11This is the worst CVS I have experienced in my 20 years of doing business with them. I am switching to Walgreens just because of my encounter with them on Saturday, April 11, 2020. The Store Manager was extremely rude and just told me that “she doesn’t have time for this...and I needed to leave”...this all while she was sitting in the back of the store chatting with an employee... CVS Corporate you should really look at the team in this store. My neighbors are complaining about the treatment as well. As a shareholder, I am really not happy to have to switch to Walgreens but I will take my business there.

2019-10-15Multiple bad experiences here. The employees are always rude. Don’t expect to call the pharmacy and have them answer you. I was in hold for 15 minutes before I gave up and just came in. When I mentioned it to the woman, she didn’t offer an apology. The employees make you feel like you’re being an annoyance just by being a customer.

2020-02-06If I could give this store less than one star I would! Went in right before 8p.. a customer was at the counter of the pharmacy so I went and grabbed some pedialyte that I also needed. When the customer was finished I walked up only to be ignored by two employees and then told by a 3rd, minutes later (the pharmacist) that they just closed. I was there for a Zofran prescription (nausea /vomiting) not a monthly refill or something I didn’t NEED right away. After 23 hours of vomiting/diarrhea at least once every hour... while caring for my 1 year old who wasn’t sick and not willing to sit still for 2 minutes and then getting a neighbor to come over after her kids where in bed to watch mine.. I go to this pharmacy who refuses to just grab my prescription and ring me up at 8:06p... the pharmacist tells me there’s a cvs down the road open 24 hours they just closed... when I get to this cvs they have to pull my prescription from the last cvs and then fill it..a 45 minute wait.. needless to say I didn’t make the 45 minute wait as I’m vomiting/diarrhea at least once every hour and we are now past that window of I’m ok time. I CAN NOT EVEN BELIEVE THIS AND THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE SO RUDE AND UNWILLING TO HELP.

2019-04-09Zero customer service - the absolute worst. Every time I come to pick up a prescription it takes at least 30/40 mins to get ready even though I get the notification its ready to pick up. Several people behind the counter but no one seems at all focused on getting people in and out in a quick manner. (I usually come during a break at work) Takes forever to get one simple prescription. I dread coming here once a month. I would switch to Publix but they dont carry what I need. Dont get prescriptions filled here unless you have nothing but time to kill while the employees play around behind the counter.
