Lovely park with giant canopies, and a pretty pond. I have seen people with their pets all the time! Im sure they love it as much as I do!
Absolutely beautiful park. Wether you bring your family, your dog, your girlfriend or just yourself, you will not be disappointed. Plenty of room for a picnic, play some sports or just soak up some rays. They have a beautiful running track thats easy on your feet. If youre thirsty or hungry there are 2 gas stations with mini marts in walking distance at either end of the park. This park wont disappoint, go enjoy it on a nice sunny day...
Went to a SCCPSS event here... Books and Blankets had a blast! The park is huge. It is clean and pet friendly too❤

Cool park for walking , jogging sightseeing, meeting freindly awesome people like I did , I even met some workers this day beautifying the grounds , very neat and tidy park. Take yo pooch for a walk and has a fenced in area for dogs to run and play with all the other dogs. Now I need a dog...lol 🐩🐕
Its so peaceful, almost feels like paradise. There is so much to do at the park.
I went Geocaching here! The park is huge, several different fields for sports, an outdoor pool, running tracks, a stadium, water, and a fenced dog park with sides for little dogs and one for big dogs. A great place to come on the weekends and a great walking spot!
Good park and so many activities to do or simply find a nice spot to read a book under a tree.
My husband and I took our puppy for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The park has two sections one for over 25pounds and the other under, we went into the over 25 pounds section there are two water stations one for drinking and a small bone schaped dog pool! Everyone there had great control over thier dogs, we could tell everyone played by the rules allowing us to experience a fun and safe time! Park has clean up stations for owners to bag up any poo poo no worries of stepping in any! Great socialization for dogs!
Plenty of space they set up for soccer games cricket games I have all kinds of games over there city sets it up for you and I dont know how much you pay
Savanah Bananas an event for sure! Great energy, family fun, get there early for good seats. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn. Entertainment visits the stands. A must do if you can get tickets.
Excellent place for a dog walk or a nice run. Clean and a lot of trash cans everywhere. The soft running track is much better than tar or concrete.
This place is huge! It has multiple watering stations that they maintain regularly. There is also a small dog section, a large dog section, and a completely separate section for dogs who dont get along with other dogs!
Daffin dog park, as part of the larger Daffin park, was big and full of fun smells and critters for my pups to chase after. There were many picnic benches, water stations, and poop bag stations throughout. This is also the first park Ive seen that had three areas; one for little dogs or puppies, one for large dogs, and one long skinny dog run area. I thought that was a neat touch!
We ate lunch and had fun watching people walk the dogs we did see a A few policeman scattered through the park made us feel very safe
Took the grand babies here to play in the playground and they had a good time, clean park with beautiful scenery!
My boy absolutely LOVES daffin park. There are always plenty of other dogs to play with
Not a bad park, but a lot of trash on the ground and we saw some used needles on the ground near the restrooms.
I take my American Bulldog there every Wednesday. He loves playing with all the other regulars that go. Nice large fenced area for them to run around and toys are donated frequently. Large splash tub and drinking fountains for our furbabies.
A great park, great dogs. Our puppy had his first dog park experience here and he loved it. Owners were great about not letting their dog overwhelm yours. Poop wasnt everywhere either

Wish the City would make an effort to make the dog park as 5 star as the do the rest of Savannah. It is ok but a few changes and upgrade would be nice. With the tall pines it is cool as you can get in the summer. A filtered swimming area, grass and a wash area would be on my wish list
The park was fine the fountain on the other hand was busted and the pond was trashy. Beautiful day though!

It was a very peaceful and upbeat environment. Ive been to difficult park but not to Grayson stadium. Nevertheless Ive never been to a baseball game. But I really enjoyed the game also the ppl most of all the entertainment. Look forward to visiting again.
Daffin Dog Park is is on a nice location. The park needs better upkeep. There are large potholes in the parking lot that holds a lot of water when it rains,. There are a lot of fallen tree branches scattered in the park. The grass also needs cutting.
Savannah Bananas are awesome. Entertaining and burgers are excellent.
I wish they had a bigger/better playground but its a gorgeous place.

Daffin is a great park, lots of family fun and enjoyed watching savannah shamrocks rugby team. The only reason I gave an4 star is because the grass needed to be cut.
Awesome park, we went there on a Saturday afternoon and it is quite peaceful and very few people around maintaining social distancing as well, nice place to bring in the kids and have a relaxed and a quiet time! Extremely clean and well maintained.

Very large and well attended dog park. Fairly open in some places but it does have a lot of large trees. Its a bit of a trade off in that theres a lot of shade but the dogs cant run super far, but I guess you have the park proper for that.
Went to a Plant Swap here. (Event through Facebook) Met lots of people. Very knowledgeable about their plants and seeds. Such a great idea, to swap plants for free. Thank yall for the new spider and snake plants and cantaloupe at my house now!!
I grew up next to this park, it has a very nice shady playground that is fenced in situated under massive oak trees, there is a huge pond on one side and the park has plenty of space for all sorts of sports... I didnt see a fenced in dog park? Unless they are talking about the park its self. It is bordered by busy roads so if I were you I wouldnt let my dog off lead unless its extremely obedient
Love this park and all the doggo friends weve made there. There is a big and small size separation but most dogs in the big side are kind to smaller pups. Never had an issue. Lots of shade and land for humans and dogs. Fairly clean and quiet

All dirt.. Large area..Its perfect to let your dog be free and socialize. Only down side is that you should give your dog a bath after every time especially when it rains. If you go at night there is rarely other dogs

Great place to bring your dogs! The park is almost always clean and there are bowls and a fresh water source to keep them well hydrated. I will always reccomend keeping smaller dogs in the small dog area though.
Beautiful place but not fenced in door the puppers who tend to run if not hooked on a leash.

I walk here daily... its an awesome park for exercise or bringing the kids to play. Or if your like me (a dog mom) you can enjoy the dog park area
Huge park, friendly people and animals
Huge trees! Nice place to visit and if you have pet, there is dedicated spot for them to enjoy.
Large open space with lots of trees to sniff and shaded picnic tables. Fresh water to fill a bowl for thirsty pups. The fence is too high for even the hi jumping escape artists like mine. There is a separate area for small dogs too. We will be going back to make more pup friends soon. Dont forget all dogs need updates shots and tags to party.

We have lived within walking distance to daffin for almost 3 years now and I just say it is such a beautiful park. The people there are always friendly and it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. The oaks trees are huge! The open field itself is huge and good for sports or picnics in the grass. There’s always something going on like outdoor yoga, sometimes there’s an outdoor traveling gym, food truck festivals, rugby tournaments, etc. There is a dog park called Herty Pines Dog park on the southeast corner of the park. We used to live taking our dogs over there but sometimes there are so many dogs it can be overwhelming. Daffin is also home to the historic Grayson Stadium and their baseball team the Savannah Bananas. The games are so much fun and the fireworks they display some weekends are phenomenal. Overall, I adore this park! If you come you will you not be disappointed.
Could be a great dog park, but people with poorly trained dogs that they dont pay attention to have ruined it the three times Ive gone. Also people really like to ignore the size rules and bring their 8lb dogs into the area for large dogs. The positives are that its large and shaded.
The best rugby fields in Savannah, it is a great place to take your body to walk or run. This is a great park to have fun. The St Patricks day rugby tournament is played there every year. It is worth your time and effort to go watch these college kids and young adults play.
No place to Walk my dog and she was a Chihuahua!

I go every morning with my dog and the grass is always dog poop free and a nice place to lay or have a picnic. The park is huge but people love to congregate and be near each other for some crazy reason.

Great fenced in city dog park with lots of room and interesting, good people to talk to. This park/neighborhood has character and diversity. Great walking path around the park and beautiful surroundings. Fire Station across the street. Feels very safe at Daffin.
We take our 2 dogs 3 or 4 times per week. Its a nice park. Not only do they have 2 fenced in areas, 1 for smaller dogs & the other for bigger dogs, but they also have an open area where you can let your dog(s) run free if your dog is trained. Theres alot more to this park other than the dog parks. Its HUGE!
With not a lot of open space or dog parks around this is a fun place to bring your dog to run around and play off leash. It has both a big and small dog area which are both surround by trees. People are friendly as well.
Nice enclosed area for your dogs to run free. Need to be careful with other dogs that may he aggressive. There is no grass, only dirt. The trees provide nice shade.

We took our bulldog here for the first time today. Great place! Lots of area for the dogs to play with multiple watering stations and a doggie pool. There are 2 separate areas. One for dogs over 25 lbs and the other for those weighing less. Everyone we met there was very friendly. We will definitely go again!

This park is so wonderful. I wish there was more to do around it, like so little places to eat/drink or get an ice cream or something.

Lots of pups were here for our dog to play with. He had a blast and was very tired after. Very sandy so we had to clean him off afterward, but a great dog park
The park is great for the most part, but I wish there was a wash station near the main exit. My dog gets muddy from the water around the doggie pool. I have to rinse him off and then walk through all the dirt when we leave.

One of the best park Im the area that I have found. It has great dog park which I often frequent and is never to crowded. I would definitely recommend if you have a pet or want to take your family out in general.

This park is dirty. Trash in and around the lake and walking paths. Large pile of dog poop next to a park bench. Too bad. It would be a nicer place if people knew how to clean up after themselves and their pets.
Plenty of green open space. Definitely crowded if theres a special event, but even on weekends you can usually walk around and have plenty of room to yourself. Lots of parking also.
Most of the wide open spaces have signs saying they were closed. I think this makes no sense during a time like this. I am hesitant about taking my child to the park equipment because other kids and parents have been around it and possibility spreading the corona virus. So having a field to play kickball and Frisbee are alternatives but if you have no field to play on then what is the purpose of the park.
Great large fenced in area where all dogs can meet and play! Double gated so they have a harder time sneaking out, water fountain, picnic tables, a fire hydrant and plenty of dirt to dig holes in!
This is a fabulous place to take the pups, but I am pleading with everyone to watch your pups if you know they are more aggressive. Picnic benches, lots of trees and waste collection bags provided. Very well maintained for a dog park 😳
Great place to bring the family or if you just need to take a nice walk to clear your mind. So many memories here for me. I grew up playing rec ball at this very park.
Daffin Park is one of Savannahs largest parks. Daffin is host to Savannahs Little League Football Program and is a very popular site for those who enjoy running. It offers a low-impact soft track for runners and those who simply enjoy walking. Recreation areas include tennis and basketball courts, and a public swimming pool which is open during the summer. Daffin also features a Dog Park and is home to the Savannah Bananas! Oh, I cant forget about the majestic Live Oak trees! If youve never been there, what are you waiting for? Youll love it!
If you want to relax and eat the best pizza in town (super baked) dont do it here. The flies will carry your food away
My little doggo had a blast romping around the small dog park. Lots of butt sniffs and tail wags. 10/10 would recommend. There are two separate enclosures for different size doggos!
What a beautiful park! Wonderful place to take your furbaby. People and pets were very friendly and it is nice that they have separate areas depending on your dogs size.
Easily the best dog park Ive been to between Georgia and Florida. Its huge with so many pine trees to smell and pee on that also offer lots of shade. Also, be advised that there is no separation here between big and small dogs. Not saying that its a bad or good thing, just a thing to be aware of.

Love, Love, Love this place. One of our favorite places in Savannah. The kids love to bring our dog here while we have a picnic. We came here 4 times this past April while we were visiting on our yearly Savannah trip. Great place to bring the kids, dog, husband, and walk around :)
It is a very clean park with a minor league baseball stadium ( Savannah Banannas) right inside of it. Also has a dog park there as well. Plenty of sport activities to do as well as soccer, tennis, beach valley ball, swimming, basketball, as well as fishing in the fountain ponds. If you get bored than you are boring. Just playing but it is a nice park.

Not so much wrong as far as the dogsHas everything your pooch should need. I recommend your own water for your pup, and keep a close eye because its amazing the amount of people who dont know how to spot aggressive behaviour in dogs.
My fiancé and I bring our big pups there and it is THE best way to socialize them and meet new people. I absolutely love it! Not to mention, it is a gorgeous view - plus, you get your dog fix. 😉😍
Good park for dogs
Didnt go to the dog park, but the park in general was very nice, big, and spacious, nice shade, water fountains, restrooms, and next door to baseball park off of Victory Street ( Route 80), near downtown. !!!
This park is beautiful with all the huge trees lined up that are a characteristic of Savannah. The Bananas béisbol stadium is in this park, and so is a tennis court. Wondrous place in Midtown Savannah, where I am privilege to live!

Open 24/7 with separate big dog and small dog gates areas. Dog bath available but can be dirty/muddy. Overall perfect for our little friends!
Great place to sit in the sunshine or shade, play with the dog, attend a festival (I had a great time at the outstanding Earth Day Festival), or organize an event to have there. Great location - by Forsyth Park and the Stadium - and there is plenty of parking.
We frequently go to dog parks in Bath or Brunswick Maine so we tried this one out in Savannah a few times. Each visit progressively got worse as the dogs already at the park were very aggressive. Owners had no leash to pull dogs off. I carried my 7lb dog and leashed my 65 lb dog and we enjoyed the small dog side of the park which had no other dogs in it. My large dog is very submissive so as she layed on her back a Rotwieller kept going after her as she cried out. If I return we will use the small dog side only.

The park itself is nice but not really safe for your dog. Other dog owners dont do anything about their dogs being aggressive and when they are aggressive its not taken seriously at all and they dont leave the park.
For safety to da kids all chains on playground equipment need to be cleaned nd stronger/unrusty
Its OK when there are a few owners, but when it gets busy people stop picking up after dogs and dont pay attention to whos getting along and who isnt.

Great dog park! Lots of room for fur babes to run and play. Super sandy so dont wear anythung that you like. Occasionally a fight breaks out, but def worth the try.

My most favorite Davannah park. Love the walking tracks and two huge rainbow flashing fountains.The best, safest park in town with tons of things to do. They have a building to use for parties, basketball courts (many), tennis courts (many).Theres two nice fairly big playgrounds. A huge swimming pool, soccer fields, baseball fields and a millins old mossy cover beautiful hundreds of years old trees.Theres a picture op around every turn or step. Great place to meet new people, whether locals or visitors.
Wonderful day at the food truck festival we went to. They did need more bathrooms and trash cans. Hand washing stations would have been helpful also.

Nice big park but its all dirt so prepare to give your dog a bath after leaving. Not a good place after rain as it tends to get muddy.

Daffins track is padded which makes it easier on the in step. There is a community park for your canine as well. Of course, there is the Savannah Bananas at Grayson Stadium so on Monday during baseball season you can get your run-on & play in a complete package. Also, I caught Peter, Paul and Mary there at a Folk, Bluegrass festival.Daffins tennis courts are good and I like to recharge my cell outside of the gates while waiting. Yes, there is a grilling pit, and bathrooms as well.The is a pavilion on the East end near Waters. If youre traveling by CAT then catch it at Joe Murray and listen for the protocol which will prompt you that you are approaching Victory Drive.
Really nice park. They keep the grounds maintained and its got wonderful Oak Trees everywhere.
Love going here to fish. Weve caught some pretty big catfish here.

Big park for the dogs, a lot of space and lots of water places. They provide doggy bags. Be weary of dogs jumping into the water.
Lots of watering spots for the dogs along with a dog soaking pool and rinse station. Plenty of places to sit in the shade.
It was a great day. Books and Blankets event today. Along with Parent University all at the park. So many vendors and opportunities for our youth.
Bring your own entertainment (volleyball, frisbee) or just stroll along.

There was a ton of space to do stuff, soccer fields, etc, the playground was nice but they had a really nice fenced in disability accessible playground too.
The pond is still great! I have a picture my mom took of me feeding the ducks when I was a kid. Good memories.

2021-12-26I prefer it because it is very close to my house. Actually, I love it here. Its a nice place to take a breather, walk on the grass and enjoy a pleasant pond view. This park lives with us in our lives.

2022-06-21Well maintained. Great spot for families, lots of room to walk pets, and a great track for exercise. Playgrounds are nice, though some could use some updating. The pool is no frills but nice. The dog run is nice and big, though could stand to put in grass as the sand makes for dirty dogs afterwards! And you cant beat going to a Savannah Bananas game!

2022-02-01Great park, friendly dogs and owners. Very spacious with wide open grass field. Absolutely wonderful for a family outing, photographs, bird watching or simply lounging in the park. Stop by and enjoy its offerings even if you are not a dog owner.

2021-01-30Nice park for a walk or run. Mile marker signs posted for convenience. Even though it’s close to the main road, it’s not very loud. However, one side of the park is near the fire station and that could get loud at times of an emergency. The park has a waking trail, dog park, playground, basketball court, and I believe a pool. The fountain is also gorgeous and has benches around it for seating. Be careful with little ones around the pond. Oh, it also features a huge lot of green grass for whatever you’d like. Such as, soccer, running, star gazing, etc. people bring their dogs out on a leash as well. Lovely park.

2022-03-02Excellent place for fenced in off leash running and playing, with both small and big dog areas. The surrounding park is also great for on leash walks, including a pond with a fountain.

2022-04-22We went to an Easter egg hunt event. Very nice park and friendly people. They had a lot of great give aways. What an awesome way to celebrate and support the community
