Definitely one of the better Dairy Queens that we have been to. Nice staff, good food, and warm atmosphere.Hopefully they can remodel soon as the decor is a little old.But still, you cannot beat the chicken strip basket, a cold Dr. Pepper, and a chocolate dipped cone!
Another quality location, older store location but has great views of all around. staff was fast and extremely nice. Dining room is large, clean and fun. Easy to get to traffic wise and near gas stations. We would recommend. We had meals and blizzards! ❄️❄️ Only complaint was they didn’t add chocolate syrup to the ice cream for the chocolate chip cookie dough, never seen that before. And no baby changing table.
My hubby loves the Butterfinger blizzards. I like the caramel sundae.
Stopped in while traveling. Got nervous when we saw it was an old, old building. Took our 8 person order, very friendly helpful and patient. Very fast and correct service. Wish all fast food stops were as good as this place! Keep up the good work!

The food is good, but service is terrible. For the second time in a row they have messed up our order, but it’s always our fault. They lock the doors if you have a complaint about your order and force you to go back through a long drive thru. I ordered a coke and got a sweet tea they wouldn’t change it out for me. They don’t give a receipt to prove what you ordered, is not a add on. You can’t prove when your are actually missing food you ordered. Overall terrible customer service. Do better!
Just left. We ordered 2 number 5 combos and 2 blizzards. Get have sat in this line for 15 mins and when we get to the window we get both blizzards and 1 number 5. We tell you that we ordered and our request was “oh, well we can’t take any orders at the window cause we have a long line. “. No really we just sat here for all this time and you can’t even make it right. I don’t think I will be back for a while. Very very poor customer service!!!
Lobby closed early, supply shortages, building upkeep is poor, the employees were rude and had zero sense of motivation. I dont expect much from fast food but I feel as if I wasted my money and would have felt better if I had not gone at all.
Terrible. extremely poor customer service. No one knows what they are doing. Unfriendly. Cannot get an order right for 1 item. Overcharged. No apologies. As I was walking out of the store, they were discussing me with other customers present. I was not rude. Just asked for my money back after THEIR mess up. Cannot use no stars.

Nice place! I loved the old historic feel of the restaurant. Ice cream was awesome and restrooms were clean. However, the floor infront of the order counter was very sticky.
The best Blizzards we have had in a long time. Very nice staff, customer before me let them know they were our of paper towels in the ladies restroom and they literally “ran” to get them! Yes it’s an older building but clean.
Great Blizzard and hot chocolate sundae. Service was great. Went through drive through, line moved quickly. Need to have outside DQ sign lit up at night. Not easy to find, as we were not locals. Used GPS and found ok.
This restaurant is dirty and old. The attitude of this staff are abhorrent. They put our order in wrong, it supposed to be a crispy chicken sandwich. We ended up getting a double cheeseburger. When we approached them about it, the employee just snatched the burger, threw it away, and shouted at the kitchen to make the new order with attitude just dripping off of her. Almost $20 spent at a dinky fast food place and you can’t even get the order right and be rude on top of it? Customer service sucks, I know. But you need to just quit if you don’t want to be there before you piss off the wrong one. Long wait lines in the drive thru, and then they give you melted ice cream after waiting 20 minutes in line with only 2-3 cars in front of you. This is exactly why people don’t shop locally, especially in Adel.

Lady at the drive thru window wasnt wearing a mask. None of the staff fixing the food were wearing gloves. The takeout spoon for the peanut buster parfait was not packaged in plastic. The lady said only the forks were in sealed plastic bags. I asked why no one was wearing gloves. Her snarky response was, thats what hand sanitizer is for.I tossed my food. Couldnt eat it. Not worth the risk. Rude and Covid Careless Staff at the Dairy Queen. Calling the Health Department to check for food safety.
The main issue with this location is the lack of effort and precision of the staff. For example, when I ask for bacon on my cheeseburger, they forget to put it on. Another example is that they just lazily dump way too many sprinkles on my ice cream. While some mishaps were on my part because I forgot to mention something, I still have to suggest that you visit a different location. While the staff did try their best to make up for their mistakes, its hard to imagine that they can have an A health rating without an A service rating. [5/10]

Will never eat here again not only were the employees nasty going behind the counters fixing food for friends and not paying passing it out to people. The cashier that was taking my order was to busy looking at a boy walking in to listen to my order. Not once did they wash any hands this place is disgusting and needs to be overhauled by health officials. I hope the owner sees this because you have a real problem.

They were the rudest bunch of women Ive ever met. Refused to give them my money and wouldnt bother pulling through here ever again. If you love horrible service and the slowest moving line in Georgia then this is the place for you.
Best Dairy Queen I have ever visited!!! They provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person. The food is always delicious! I love the Mocha Moolatte.
Today is March 9 2021. Just ate lunch from DQ and everything was hot and exactly what I ordered! The ladies were pleasant and smiled...go girls!
The buns on some of the corners was hard, chicken tenders wasnt fresh they tasted old. But the bugers and frys was good. If a customer pays for their order with a credit or debit cards and they asked for a reciept dont be so rude about giving them their reciept just say I am sorry for the trouble here let me get you reciept

Most DQ stores have been update and they look great but this little place is an old school throwback (no remodel). Its a little hard to find as it sits on a back road from the main road so you might have to look a little to find it. Staff is polite and willing to help and the food is always delicious. I like the fact that when you go here it reminds you of when you where a kid and your dad took you out for ice cream.
Worst place Ive ever eaten hands down. I dont quite understand how they had as much business as they did. Took fifteen minutes to get our food, the lady taking our order was also rude. Employees were only wearing one glove each, the girl on the grill touched the frozen beef patties with her ungloved hand, and cut the grilled chicken on the grill with the grill scraper/cleaner.. Big roach ran across the counter as we waited on our food that I decided to no longer eat. The ceiling appears to be falling apart, covered in dust and MOLD. My grandmother who has issues getting around used the restroom and about took a big spill because the toilet seat was broken off... Avoid this place by all means

Had to go through the drive thru cause the lobby is still closed. So I wanted in line over 15 minutes and my sundae was made wrong and I couldnt even eat my slawdog the bun was super hard and the slaw tasted awful

The girls in Dairy Queen do a good job in Adel sometimes I wish their boss wouldnt be standing around in the kitchen while they working they have on hair nets and gloves but you dont and be handling the food your staff is good let them work and maybe give them a raises

Feel free to send me a email for any additional information.Here is the story -My husband and I were traveling back from Florida to Ohio. We stopped for ice cream and was informed they do not carry chocolate ice cream. That the owner said that they dont sell enough chocolate, so they no longer have it. Seems odd... but whatever.This was in Adel GA.
Walked in and had two customers in front of us. Drive thru was busy but store had 8 to 10 employees. First lady got her order and left. Guy in front of us had his order put in right away. We stood there at the counter but we were not greeted or acknowledged in any way. This went on for about 5 or 6 minutes while they made the guys order and presumably drive thru orders. Waited another minute or two while the guy got his food but somehow they had missed one of his 3 items. They never did say anything to us so we decided to leave. Went to Hardees down the road.
Customer service doesn’t exist here. You pull up to the speaker and it’s silence, literally sat there 5 minutes and no one said a word to me before I finally drove off. As I’m driving off the cashier is just standing at the window looking at me like I’m the crazy one.
My burger was truly sloppy.... too much mayo, ketchup & mustard and the onion rings were fried too hard. 😔
Worst & Rudest Staff at any DQ I have ever been too!!!!First my wife & our grandkids walk in....we were not greeted...the employee behind the counter who was to take our order didnt say How may I help you or what would you like...she waits for us to speak...while she is texting on her phone...I guess her conversation was more important than taking our orders or maybe her dyed red hair was to much for her...then the employee whos cooking (looks like Pochantos) shes signing really loud and the cashier, they are cutting the fool and talking really loud where the whole eating area can hear them. I guess the white lady behind the counter is the supervisor, but she doesnt seem to notice them talking or singing really loud!!! This is the worst DQ I have ever been too & we will not ever eat their again!!!! In fact if Im asked my opinion of this DQ I will tell them about my experience & the lack of supervision and the lack of customer satisfaction!!!! If I was the Owner/Manager of this place and I saw this kind of treatment of the customers and the action of the work staff I would have fired all of the work crew on the spot!!! I wont be surprised if this place closes up or has No Business due to their work staff!!!! Also the place was not very clean! While we were there there were only about 5 other customers who came in and the ones that were in there left since all they heard was the work staff sing or talk loud and cut the fool!!!!!
Everyone knows that the ice cream at Dairy Queen is always good. The fire Burger is also a good burger. Just a little spicy, but very tasty.
Live their ice creams. They make fantastic birthday cakes to order or ready made. Always fun for the family to enjoy togather. I eat their chicken strip dinners alot.
The last three weeks weve been to the Adel Dairy Queen, the customer service has been less than satisfying.

Excellent customer service. Very efficient. We had four people with meals and ice cream to go and it was served quick and perfect with everything we needed. This Dairy Queen has it going on!!!

Food was good, service not so much. They were out of the new dreamcicle dip. We watched them close and lock the doors 15 mins before they were supposed to close. The employees were not very friendly and seemed like they didnt want to be tbere.

I stop through and as i was biting into my hamburger i saw hair on my patty. So, i call back to the store ask for the manager. I told her my problem she apologize and said maybe it came for the shift before her. I replied so om eating an old hamburger. Shr kinda softly giggled and so no we pre make alot of hamburger. I replied, but youll say fresh. I just said Goodbye.
Stopped here on our way through. Food was good, but the staff behaved like children. Hooping and hollering behind the counter, yelling and screaming, making fools of themselves. Way past the point of having fun on the job, this was totally unprofessional.
Horrible consumer service, blizzard took forever (10 mins) and was a complete mess (they didnt flip it because it was so melted, but I wasnt about to go ask for another if it was gonna be like that) the ceiling fans are way to low, nothing seems clean, and the bathroom has black stuff on the walls and ceiling, I dont want to say mold but it looks like it. Never going to another Dairy queen in Georgia.

The staff were immature. I asked for a hamburger with no cheese....I got a cheeseburger. The ice cream was THE WORST DQ ice cream I have EVER had. It was not creamy, or even white. It looked like cheap frozen yogurt! Yuck!

2022-04-04Cashier had very bad attitude, when ordering she had a rude tone of voice. We asked for sauce and it was not given to us. Did not put whipped cream in drink, like supposed to. Burgers were good though and great fries!

2022-05-21Lunch staff is good, but the attitude of night shift is always rude especially the younger ones.Appreciate the reply but considering Ive seen months of post about the rudeness and this generic reply sent to all of them with no change Ill just skip out on the adel store I can get the same food with way better service elsewhere.

2022-06-27The worst blizzard I have ever purchased from a DQ. We stopped by here on the way home. Paid for extra toppings and it was made with very sparse toppings. When I questioned about the accuracy, I was told that 3 scoops were put into the blizzard. Total lie smh.

2022-04-10Had a delicious, more than enough, banana 🍌 split. Lots of people came shortly after we arrived. All appear anxious to be served and the ones who were served appeared to be really enjoying it!

2022-06-04Im a CDL driver delivering emergency supplies to Abel after driving 10hrs. Just to eat at DQ & stay in the hotel next door. @ 9:22pm a rude little girl said they were closed & would not serve me no food. But finally a beautiful lady said she would take my order. Tipped her $20 Hebrews 13:2Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

2022-04-30We went through the drivethru window and lady was very rude and you could hear them playing around laughing through the speaker. The lady asked us twice on what we wanted to drink while they were playing around through the speaker and didn’t ask us what type of ice cream we wanted with our 7 dollar mean deal.

2022-05-248:30pm on a Monday night and we just sat in the drive thru behind another vehicle who was never greeted through the intercom. She kept saying hello and nobody would respond. I could see through the building that there were several employees just standing around, and several men STANDING at the drive thru window. We drove around and asked if they were open and they said yes that they were taking care of who was in front of us. But all of the men at the window had ice cream in their hands and it looked as though at least one employee could have answered the intercom in the drive thru to let people know that they would be with them in a moment. TO THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS...I WATCHED SEVERAL CARS GIVE UP AND DRIVE OFF (INCLUDING US). YOU ARE LOSING MONEY!

2022-05-18I am in a wheelchair I went to the wheelchair accessible door and it was locked. An employee said that they did not have the key to open the door. I was really wanting ice cream that day.
