My family used this company to install carpet in several rooms at our house. They were wonderful! They responded quickly, came to our house for an estimate, and were extremely professional. The whole process only took one week from the start of communication to the installation of carpet in many rooms. Everyone involved was friendly, efficient, and very hard-working! I would definitely recommend Dalton Carpet for any needs at home!
The best work in our new house is the flooring. And with a couple of things they were helping us with, the service was immediate with fantastic results. They are all in and go the extra mile. Special thanks to Alton and Chris.
Lindsay helped us with a special order of indoor/outdoor carpeting for our deck. She was easy to work with and very pleasant. She handled all the details including the binding with careful precision. She kept us informed at every step along the way and even with a slight adjustment required after installation. Also, she sent along the large carpet scraps which we can either discard or use in work rooms or other areas to help protect the floors in high-traffic entryways. She was very low-pressure and professional and, needless to say, we were very pleased with the overall experience at Dalton Carpet One in Athens, GA.
Going with Dalton Carpet was the absolute best decision we could have made. Lindsay and Callie were excellent to work with from the design phase all of the way through completion. They, Jay, and the office were superb in communicating when things would be scheduled and it all happened like clockwork. We were especially pleased that they were able to complete the work during the pandemic and not leave us without a kitchen. Jay has a great eye for detail and picked up on things that needed to be fixed before we even noticed them. As Jay said we will make it right, and he did. We have a beautiful new kitchen now and are loving every minute of it. Thank you so very much for your professionalism. We will be doing more business with you in the future.

I absolutely LOVE my master bathroom and closet remodel!! Rosemary was the absolutely finest designer we could ever have!! Her personality and style above and beyond what we ever imagined! She made the project FUN for us!! She supervised the whole project and was available at any time to help us or answer any questions we had! Her eye for detail and design is amazing!! All the installers were so professional and did excellent work! The cabinet installer was Robert. The tile installer was Jonathan. Robert and Jonathan were so tidy and perfectionistic and detailed! Starr was great at keeping us up to date on appointments! We took advantage of Dalton’s project management! Otherwise we would have had to hire a contractor and probably would not have even done the project!!
Went in Dalton Carpet to look around and wanting to do upgrades on my home. Walking around everyone was friendly and gave me space and answered all my questions . So I was wanting Tile and Carpet put down in my master bathroom.and bedroom Lindsay my customer service tech went over all my choices , options and service dates. Lenny did the Tile installation, very thorough and explained his processes. Linda and the guys did my furniture move , old carpet removal and installation . We are pleased with our experience with Dalton Carpet One. They replaced our master bedroom carpet and closet this summer. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them. If there was a 6 star option, I would have chosen it! Our experience with Caty DeLaigle and the team at Dalton Carpet was outstanding. Caty helped us from the very beginning, stayed in constant communication with us through out the entire process. I also had about 100 questions and Caty patiently answered every single one of them. We had two bedrooms that needed their carpet replaced. The pricing was exactly what we were expecting from having other estimates with other companies in the Athens area. We received 2 text reminders about when our installation was taking place. When it came to the day of installation, they gave us a time frame between 9-9:30, and the team absolutely showed up within that window. During installation, the team found a small leak in our closet from the bathroom in the next room. He took the time to show us, explain what was happening and we were able to fix it immediately before they laid the carpet down. After the installation, Caty checked in with us to make sure everything went accordingly! I cant say enough great things about them and highly recommend them! If we get any more carpet in the future, I have Catys number on speed dial! :) Thanks again!

Claudio and his team did an outstanding job installing the floor. They arrived at the house on time, took the time to address every detail and treated our home like their own.

Donna Brannon is just fantastic! She knows the products and has a very good eye for design. She helped us choose a carpet and pad for my 89 year old father’s bedroom. She came to his home to measure and was able to see the space. At that point, with Donna’s help, we decided on a slightly different pattern in the same line of carpet we had already chosen. Dad really enjoyed meeting her and appreciated her professionalism. She recommended Davey to install the carpet and he was excellent!Donna also helped us renovate my husband’s bathroom and replace an old fiberglass tub shower with tile. After we had made our decisions she emailed me with an even better option at a lower price.I highly recommend Dalton Carpet and Donna.
We had two bedrooms carpeted by Dalton. Donna was wonderful helping us make our decisions on which carpet to install. David and his assistant installed the carpet and they were great. They had the process down as a team. They were meticulous with each step and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. Also, I think my rooms were cleaner when they left that when they arrived!
Wonderful experience with using Dalton One in Athens for the carpet in our previous home and now for all of the flooring, bathroom tile, and tile backsplash in our new home! We’ve used Dalton Carpet One for our kitchen backsplash and most recently our wood plank flooring. We could not be more happy with all of the business we have done with them. So in one word, Dalton Carpet was AWESOME! Their selection was great, their prices were better and their service is outstanding. They kept me informed about my carpet selection and were extremely patient when I took forever to find the perfect carpet at my price point. When I first started looking for carpet, I looked at the usual big home stores, but after reading the reviews for carpet places, I found theirs to be rated the highest. And now I know why. Make sure you ask for Suzy. She helped tremendously and has the patience of a saint.
Just had carpet installed 3/7 in five bedrooms. From ordering to installment All went smoothly. Donna was very helpful with no pressure. Carpet arrived on time, workers showed up to the job on time and worked the whole day. They were very accommodating with where we wanted to start so that furniture could be moved efficiently. They saved one room of old carpet as asked. I was told they would vacuum and clean up as they pulled up and layed down and they did!😊. I was impressed with the cleanliness because I am a clean freak! Donna checked on the job later in the day! Very pleased with our first experience with Dalton Carpet! Would recommend and will return the next time the need arises.

With the expertise of Suzanne Basham at Dalton Carpet One we were able to remodel our house with ease. I highly recommend her services in choosing tile for showers, floors for bathroom and carpet throughout house. Installation of most of the carpet was done in one day. We love the way it all turned out!
The installation went well and the installers did a good job. Unfortunately, they installed the wrong carpet. That, of course, was not their fault, but was obviously the fault of the salesperson, Suzanne. Although she and I discussed at length that this carpet was for a rental house and I wanted a medium brown, she apparently decided I needed a very light beige, almost white. This is really cheap carpet to begin -- and was just what I wanted because it has to be swapped out frequently in a rental -- so there was not much of a color selection. However, I made it clear what I wanted and my reasons. Im guessing what I ended up with was what they had a lot of, so she just decided to stick me with that. Not sure if the blame is with Dalton Carpet One or just the salesperson. I had a problem with her from the beginning because she said she followed up with a quote, which she did not, so I guess this is payback for my complaint about that.This is an update to the review I left earlier.Kristin Hash called me in response to my review and assured me that they would fix the problem. She offered -- I did not ask -- to replace the carpet with something I would be happier with. I chose another color and the installer came out, took up the carpet I was not happy with and replaced it. Kristin followed up every step of the way and made sure the job was done quickly and followed up again at the end to make sure I was happy.So I think my bad experience was just with the salesperson and not the company and I am quite happy now with my experience with Dalton Carpet One and will definitely consider using them in the future.
High quality products, good prices, solid and professional workmanship. We have had 5 jobs done by Dalton in the past 2 years and have been very pleased with each one. The pricing for the quality was excellent (if you have the time, they have sales on installation a couple of times a year and it is worth waiting if you can). But I have been most pleased with the professionalism of the folks that come and do the work - -from the estimate, teh removal of old carpet and the installation of new. They also stand by their work -- we have been pretty demanding customers, but Dalton makes sure they do the job until you are satisfied.
First and foremost, Keri and Rosemary are so wonderful. We have remodeled the master bedroom, master bath, and kitchen. We’re coming back now for our hall bathroom. We really needed to keep this one on a strict budget. Keri was able to help keep it under budget.Working with both of them makes the craziness not so bad and the house is becoming beautiful. Their assistance and professional ideas have really melded with our ideas to far exceed what we thought we wanted. We highly recommend Dalton Carpet One and particularly Keri and Rosemary for any design needs.(Incidentally, Sergio is the finest Tile Installer we have ever seen..... he’s part of the Dalton “Team”.)
Have worked with same associate off and on for approximately 13 years. He is very helpful in making choices of colors, types of flooring, etc. Also comes @ my convenience to measure for new flooring. At this time also makes suggestions on whether to extend floor to another room, closet, etc. Gives high end & low end prices to compare and ways to save money. No cons at this time.
Great experience with Dalton Carpet !!! We had a subway tile back splash installed. The sales associates could not have been more helpful, great personalities and the ability to bring colors together to help us select the tile that would blend with the counter top and paint samples we brought in. The tile had to be ordered but arrived in a timely manner, scheduling for the install was pretty quick after that. Jose and Juan did the install, great guys. ..took time to help us select the joint size and layout that would look best for our kitchen. These guys are artists at what they do, 18 years doing this. ..it looks great. ..just what we wanted...money well spent.
Everyone did a great job. Keri was extremely helpful with every part of the process. The crew was fantastic also. Very professional and friendly. They mixed multiple custom stains to make sure I got the color I wanted for my hardwood floors. They even finished early. So glad we went with Dalton!

Claudio and his team did an excellent job with our install! My wife and I could not be happier with the finished product and the process. Claudio literally treated our job like he was installing it in his house. They stayed late to finish in one day. Claudio offered suggestions on treatment around our hearth that created a better finished look than we originally had planned on. His team obviously enjoys and takes pride in their work. They even sang throughout the day, the entertainment was a unexpected bonus! We will definitely recommend Dalton Carpet and Claudios installation crew to our neighbors!

We needed carpet stretched in 5 rooms of our house. A friend recommended we call Ryon at Dalton One. Ryon made the process painless. I can’t believe how easy and inexpensive it was. We thought it would cost so much more. The technicians were efficient and. professional. They were in and out in no time. I would definitely recommend them if you need your carpet stretched.
Worked with Donna to get new counters and floors. We did the floors first and it was perfect. We found a style that fit our budget and it was installed promptly and professional.Next week got counters and they came through again. We explained our vision and Donna was able to find what worked for us. We had one small hiccup with installation but we were taken care of promptly and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone .

Susan at Dalton Carpet not only assisted us in finding carpeting within our budget but then helped us select a wall color that would coordinate well with that carpet. Outstanding company to deal with. They did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it. I had floor covering installed in my 89 year old mothers house and Donna went to her house both days prior to the installers arriving. This made my mother feel comfortable. Donna was the one that went out to complete the measuring and met my mother with me. Service above and beyond to make customer satisfaction is what they do. The only company I will use for my floor covering needs.
The workers had a long day & the quality dropped as they worked later. Manager did come next day to correct some mistakes. It was good that I had protective blankets on the floor as they had none. There was some glue & grout left on some of the woodwork & cabinet. The workers didnt show enough regard for our property (like placing a soda can on top of an antique dresser. Overall, the floors look good now. I was disappointed that Daltons didnt work with us on price more since this floor had to be redone. (The sample piece from the first floor wasnt a good indicator of the overall color). They advertise that floors would be replaced if customer is dissatisfied for any reason.
My wife Charlotte and I just completed a home renovation including new construction and rehab of existing spaces. We worked with Rosemary Lukosiewicz and Robert ONeal for over 18 months in the execution of this endeavor. They both proved invaluable in their insight and persistence in getting even the smallest details right. We NEVER had problems reaching them, and they were critical in working with other professionals to insure things went well. Every subcontractor they provided for us was simply excellent. We are obviously more than happy with the results. As testament, we would unhesitatingly return to Dalton Carpet One should other home projects be desired.

Dalton has installed all of the flooring in our home (LVT, wood and carpet). Additionally, they redesigned our kitchen, installing new cabinets and countertops. We recommend them highly and loved working with Rosemary and Melanie.
My husband and I live in a 60’s ranch style house that has 2 bathrooms. The master bath was a pink Jack and Jill, and the main bath was baby blue everything. It was a very narrow “afterthought” typical bathroom from that era. So we began our renovation at least 6-8 months ago. I finally went to Dalton One and was helped by Paul Deaton, who listened and showed me what they had in stock, and I picked out wall and floor tile. I came by another time and spoke with a decorator who helped me pick out a separate grout color for the walls and for the floor. Paul came over to measure, and was very personable, and did not make us feel like our job was too small, or unimportant.. My husband did the demo of a closet, vanity and a cast iron tub. Paul gave us an estimate for the demo of the tile walls and floor, and laying the new tile, that we felt was very reasonable. The tile supervisors Michael and Craig both were nice. Craig helped us out when there was a problem with the prep for the tile install. It was figured out, and thanks to my husband’s hard carpenter work and Yadic the artistic perfectionist tile lay-er, we have a BEAUTIFULLY tiled bathroom. Our thanks to Paul, Craig, and Yadic for their part in it turning out so well.
I am in LOVE with my new LVP floors! From Keris in-depth consultation and care in answering all my questions to Claudio and crews professional installation and cleanup, this was truly a pleasant experience! 10/10 would recommend!
After 2 years we have visible wear spots in our carpet.We are seniors (no Kids) & do not wear shoes in the house. We called Dalton to file a warranty claim, 2 different people came to inspect the carpet and said it was OK. I do nor recommend this company and we will not do business with them again.

Horrible customer service. We had great care in the store and were allowed to take a sample home. (Before taking it home we made sure it wasnt something that would go out of stock. We were ensured it wouldnt be a problem and she even guaranteed the sale price through the end of the month.) Called multiple times to request a quote and could never get her to call us back. After two weeks of leaving messages and against our better judgment (shouldnt have to pull someones arm to drop thousands of dollars), we requested help through the website. Received an immediate response when we told them we wanted to order a good deal of square footage. Wouldnt you know that the product was discontinued and replaced with something more expensive. I feel like we were baited from the beginning...

We got LVT flooring for our living areas and carpet for our bedrooms from Dalton Carpet. We couldnt be happier with the results. First off, Paul Deaton there is amazing to work with. Sam is awesome as well (he scheduled the installation). We took several months planning and changing our minds, even after we ordered the carpet for the whole house. Paul was very flexible and patient with our many changes. We went from thinking all carpet to LVT plus carpet. We installed the LVT ourselves and had Dalton install the carpet areas. Our stairs were also carpeted and laid by Dalton Carpet. We love all of it. The LVT is an amazing weathered wood look and goes equally well in our family room, kitchen, and downstairs rooms. The carpet in the bedrooms and on the stairs is beautiful as well. And so plush to walk on. The 2 installers for the carpet were efficient and did a great job. They were completely done in less than a day. So happy to have our house looking so good! Im very pleased with the whole process. Thank you Paul, Sam, and Dalton Carpet!
Just had a great experience with Dalton Carpet in Athens, Georgia, and I attribute it to the help I received from Paul Deaton at Dalton. Paul was great. He listened attentively when I explained my need to replace the flooring in my basement. He showed me a number of options. He explained the pros and cons of all of them, using plain English and not the jargon I heard from other dealers, and he answered all my questions clearly. I was given samples to take with me, and when I called back with other questions, he promptly got back to me with answers. Today, we finalized my purchase. I highly recommend Dalton and especially, Paul Deaton.

My name is Cassandra Daniel and I have been trying for over a month to get some carpet into my house so my kids and I could move in Dalton carpet has gave me the runaround telling me to call this person and that person. So I did, I tried to set up and appointment for the measurements in the bedrooms finally a gentleman told me that he was going to go out there on Friday and never showed up! I’m highly disappointed in this carpet company!!!
Our carpet is even prettier than it’s sample, the installation went smoothly and was well done!We would definitely use Dalton again for any carpet needs.

While we were in store, we were really pleased. A time was set up for someone to come take measurements. We responded that it wasnt a good time but never received a response back. It has now been almost three weeks and still no quote or any communication for that matter.

2022-02-24We used Dalton Carpet One in Athens to install new vinyl flooring throughout our house a few months back. We were happy with the initial outcome, but as I was cleaning one day a few weeks after they did our install, I noticed there were indentations/bubbles on the floors underneath our couch legs. When the installation team had finished the job, they recommended we put felt pads under the legs of our dresser and couch, and they put makeshift ones under the dresser themselves when moving the dresser back, but didnt do the same for the couch, and they immediately moved the couch back themselves before leaving. We put felt pads on the couch legs as instructed, but apparently that didnt help. We reached out to Kevin with photos and explained the issue, and after sending a tech out, we were told by Kevin, very rudely I might add, that the damage was OUR fault and therefore wed be responsible for the cost of several hundred dollars for them to come out and fix it/replace it. After arguing that the installation team was actually the responsible party, he sent out a second opinion which ended up just being the same tech, and after explaining the issue again to the tech, even he admitted it was a miscommunication that fell on the installation team. Yet we were later still told wed have to pay a little less to have it fixed, but it was still several hundred dollars and the cost fell on us. Needless to say, we will never use their services again. If we do end up having it fixed, it will be through a different company as I dont trust Dalton carpet one and dont want to waste any more of our money on them. Terrible work, terrible communication and terrible customer service. Do not use them.

2020-10-28I had a new home built earlier this year, and moved in the first week in July. The flooring in the home was amazing, but we decided to remove the carpet in the foyer/hall upstairs and go with the same flooring installed downstairs (rookie mistake). I called the same company that installed the floor originally, although it was a small job, they made it happen quickly. It took almost a month for the flooring to come in, but that’s due to the delay from the manufacture for the specific flooring we wanted. Once it arrived, they were out the same week to install. They had to return a second time to tuck the transition pieces, but that was also seamless (no pun intended). You get what you pay for, and in this case, I paid for a quality installation. With that said, fair pricing, easy to work with, and a great product that fit my budget. Chris and Sam worried about all the logistics, and were in great communication every step of the way. I will be using them for the flooring in the basement as we begin to finish it.

2022-07-14Dalton One was recommended to us by our real estate agent. The flooring was installed and looks great.We did have some issues with glue being left on the floor but was able to get that resolved. The biggest problem that we had was when the countertop was installed. The 2 men that came out and were not told that it included removal of the old counter and they were not prepared for that. They did it after checking with the supervisor but left debris in all of the cabinets. Overall we are satisfied with the work but were surprised that no one ever followed up and confirmed that we did not have problems and to thank us for our business. I assume that since our order was only $20,000 and we are not ones they want to return. My husband called about 2 weeks ago about someone getting in touch with us about the kitchen floor but no one did. I will not use them again. 6/25 we still have not had anyone contact us about the popping of the wood flooring I the kitchen. We are concerned abou the glue. Very poor customer service. 7/14/22 Dalton One contacted us after my review and Ken came out and found the problem. He explained that there had been a miscommunication. He saw the problem and it was repaired today. Very good service and quick response.

2020-09-08Becky at Dalton Carpet One has been incredibly helpful and patient as Ive made decisions and purchases for carpet, vinyl, and rugs in two different homes. She has worked with me to get the most out of my budget, putting together multiple quotes for different options. The installers who came to the house were competent and friendly. I love how everything has turned out, and I will definitely recommend Becky and Dalton Carpet One to others.

2019-05-21My new kitchen is amazing!!!! Rosemary did a great job designing the space. I had a peninsula style countertop she removed and replaced with an island/bench combination so I was able to get an island and a breakfast area. 2019-02-01I didnt choose Dalton, my builder did, but their work looks more like a DIYer did it than a professional, particularly the tile. There is large gaps in the laminate and it began to bubble up around the seams almost immediately. Perhaps its because I live outside of Augusta and theyre in Athens, but after 4.5 months of waiting, and coming out to my house 5 times almost nothing accomplished because they didnt come with the necessary materials and didnt speak English, they finally sent a manager out to look at it, only to tell me it would be another month until they could fix it, but here we are another 2 months since then and it still isnt fixed. The penny tile has waves in it, doesnt go all the way to the wall in some spots and is crooked or breaks the pattern in other spots. The lips that they say are now standard instead of thresholds to transition to other rooms, will destroy your feet if you step on them barefoot and look unfinished. Also, every time they send a crew they leave a mess, whether it be sponges or packaging behind for you to clean up.Update: A couple months since I posted this review and got a response from the owner and we are still waiting for ANYTHING to be fixed. However, there have been issues with moisture which are outside their control, but moisture doesnt affect the tile and so as not to inconvenience them, they dont want to have to come out twice. [Pro-tip: If you dont want to come out twice, do it right the first time.] I will also say that theyve all been very polite and professional since I posted this review and seem to be working to fix the problem, but theyre going to do it on their timetable. Also, the Mohawk laminate product we installed is terrible and as soon as I have the money, Im going to rip up and replace it with hardwood, which seems like a colossal waste.Second Update: After 5 months, (you read that right) they still have not fixed my floors. They say they can do minor fixes around the edges, but the only way to fix it is to re-do it, which they refuse to do. The products they installed are of such inferior quality that even though theyre brand new, Im already considering replacing them. They dont return phone calls, tell you people are going to call, but never do. I could go on and on. In short, call literally anyone else or do it yourself, it will probably look better.Update: After months and months of fighting with them, they finally came back out to fix the tile and laminate. They did a very good job fixing the tile. However, they did not bring enough new material to fix the laminate so they wound re-installing damaged planks. When I notified them about this they refused to return my calls for 3 weeks and have done nothing to fix the problem. Whats worse is that the broke my cabinets while pulling the floor up when they reinstalled the quarter round at the base of the cabinets they did a terrible job. It was a huge inconvenience for them to come out the week before Christmas, move all of my furniture around, just to wind up with my floors in a similar state and broken cabinets.

2020-01-31During the summer while playing an indoor-game of hide and go seek with my two year old, I hopped up on the bathroom counter (because you know, Im smarter than a two year old... or so I thought)... which promptly cracked.In less than five minutes I had gotten in touch with Dalton Carpet One, and Rosemary made it clear that we were in good hands. Not only did she get us a piece that fit, but we upgraded the look of our hall bath in a big way!From start to finish any hiccups that came, Rosemary navigated for our family (ex: the contractor who measured the spot for DCO said that no sink would fit there, that it was a novelty design... Rosemary said Dont worry about it, Ive got you taken care of.).I cannot recommend Dalton Carpet One enough to a homeowner. Not only is our work in our bathroom great, but now following the work Rosemary posts on social media, we cant wait to have her come back and do more in our home!

2020-02-01We had a great experience with Dalton Carpet. They are professional, friendly and do a beautiful job. I worked with the designer, Rosemary, who was very hands-on and gave great advice regarding the removal of our carpet and installation of hardwood flooring. I trusted her expertise and was thrilled with the results. Starr, the customer service rep, set up everything and was quick to schedule and move the project along. Henry and the other men in charge of installation did an outstanding job. They were friendly, hard-working and really knew their stuff. I could not speak more highly of our experience and will definitely be using their services in the future.
