Target in other cities:
I had a very positive experience at Target today. .... a cashier in the next line saved me time by noticing that I was still standing in line behind a lady with a cart that was completely full. The cashier was finishing up with a customer and looking around to see how everyone was doing and called me over. She was very professional and polite. The cashiers name was Linda! The service at Target is excellent!
There was a rude worker (woman, short hair) in the mens section. I was w my bf helping him pick out clothes. She rudely asked me if she could help me. Very accusational and condemning ? I said no..and she pretty much followed us all over that section. Mind that we were not being disruptive nor putting things out of place, etc. Idk if its bc we were non white interacial couple but I Def felt discriminatory vibes from her. There were other shoppers in the same section that she did not approach in that same manner. We just left those bad vibes behind but Target will continue to loose some sales w workers like that.
Patricia helped me above and beyond yesterday! She was patient and professional when I was trying to figure out my Target Circle account. In the meantime, while helping me, she continued to be kind and pleasant to other store customers. She assisted me and others as they needed her. Patricia is fabulous! I look forward to a day that I can see her smile behind her mask and hear very kind voice! I would also like to add: A young woman in Electronics helped me with a flash/thumb drive and Consumer Cellular! She was extremely knowledgeable of all products and made informative recommendations! I didnt ask her name but she was great! I will go back and seek out her help again!
Will in Tech was amazing. I was going to purchase a pair of Sonys high end noise-canceling headphones at Best Buy. I came into Target and decided to check out the product in the Electronics area. Will was super knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and provided a good comparison of Sonys product versus the competition. When I told Will that I was going to make my purchase at Best Buy because their price was slightly lower, he told me that Target has the ability to price match.Solely based upon Wills customer service, I decided to spend $160 on headphones at Target instead of Best Buy. Ill definitely make all of my future electronics purchases at Target in East Cobb (Marietta, GA).
I have very rarely shopped at Target, and this was the first visit to this store in a LONG time, but Ill be back. I liked everything about it. Very friendly staff, good prices, pleasant environment/good-looking, bright store, CVS pharmacy, 5% discount with Red Card. I can shop lots of other places and find good prices, but the friendly staff at this store is what sold me.
I visited this store on the evening of the 30th of December after a horrendous experience at the nearby Walmart Neighborhood Market. I left a review there as well, detailing the complete lack of professionalism present and thought that I should share the corresponding experience here. After leaving the Wal-Mart, we (me, my wife, and our children) came to Target to buy candy for our sons birthday. The experience here easy, pleasant, and fast. At the aforementioned Wal-Mart, we had a manager tell us to leave after simply asking about an unsafe situation at the front involving masses of customers, one (and only one) cashier doing her best sloth impression, and a distinct lack of effect COVID precaution. This Target, on the other hand, featured helpful employees, fast checkout (with at least FOUR registers open), and clear precautions taken for social distancing and mask wearing. Contrary to the Wal-Mart, all employees had their masks properly adorned and maintained at least a six foot distance while also doing their level best to help every customer they laid eyes on. For someone with a long background in retail, it was a beautiful sight to behold.I wish I could remember the cashiers name who checked us out so I could offer some specific examples and maybe, just maybe, earn her a well deserved recognition at least but, I cannot, though I *think* she was working register 8 or 10, maybe 12 sometime around 7:30ish. It was on the west side of the divider where the cart escalator is. If any managers of the Target read this, award ALL your employees working the night of December 30th. They were all, without exception, exemplary and deserving of more praise than I can offer in a brief review.
My family and I love to shop at Target. I like to pick up quick groceries, but our main reason for shopping is for clothes, electronics, etc... I love the convenience of the drive up order pickup. During Christmas it was essential so that my family did not know what I was purchasing.
My nice purchase a PS4 and Shae at the electronic department was super helpful, she even recommended games for my nice, she was very sweet and knowledgeable.I praise her for her good work. Target needs to continue to hire people like her. Highly recommend this location, everyone is always greeting you with a smile.
This target is clean but smaller than some of the newer ones. Lots of toys and games for kids for the holidays. I went to find a crossword puzzle book to give as a gift and they didn’t have a single one for adults. They weren’t sold out; they don’t even sell them at the store.
I bought a 65” today and needed to return it because it was too large for the space it was intended to go in. It’s the Saturday before Christmas and the place was mobbed. There were 5 different employees who made my experience EXTREMELY pleasant. One of them even directed me to a place where I could charge my phone. This was probably one of the busiest days of the year for the staff, and every one of them was cheerful, helpful and courteous.
This is the worst Target I’ve ever been. I’m standing in line to check out, an employee comes to me and says that there was another register opening, which never opened, she she made me loose my space. I went to a line where they were checking out customers with less them five items,so I stood there and then another employee comes and blocks out path, don’t understand what she was doing because after this the first employee comes and states that there were going to start a line for all registers, which never happenedI’m never coming back to this store to shop ever again. Worst Target ever
I really enjoy this store- it’s my usual place to purchase home goods, school supplies, health items, etc.. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, the store is always clean, I love the parking deck so my car can stay cool in the summer. HOWEVER I am taking off a star due to my recent experience with their order pick up service. The item they bagged and left for me to pick up was not the same item I ordered. I checked the item before I left the pick up desk and asked that they make the correction by exchanging the product. They went and searched the store for my ordered item for about 15 minutes and returned saying they they don’t have it. And That they hadn’t stocked it since February (it’s now August). So my item was then refunded. So I went back home and decided to order the item again but this time choose to have it shipped and in fact it gave me the option to go to the store for pick up, showing 2 of the items in stock (which they haven’t stocked since February). So they haven’t updated their system since February to show the correct available inventory. Lesson learned, don’t do store pick up from this location! If you need to order something- just have it shipped- I’m sure it comes from a supply warehouse and not your local store anyways.
I had great assistance from several different people at Target: Dearra went out of her way to help me find mascara wands and when they were not available in the store, she found another Target where they were located, and when the printer cartridges I was looking to buy were unavailable, she found them on your web site and I ordered them and paid for them right there! When I forgot to pay for my purchases (I bought other stuff) with my Red card, Tori helped me cancel the charge on the card I used and reposted them on my Red Card. What great service!!!!
This Target went insane overnight. They are discouraging you from turning right after entering to go directly to the pharmacy, HBA, and grocery department.Use your receipt and let them know this is crazy. If you are going to the pharmacy do you think you need to be forced around their barriers? Leaving you have a person directing you like this is your first trip. There are more employees getting you to registers than open registers. Crazy!!
Target is our go to for most non-food items. Clean store. Good selection. Reasonable prices on most things and a generally friendly staff. Probably goes for most Target stores. This one is cool due to the parking deck and escalator for the shopping carts. Kids love that piece.
Because of their customer service, especially from Patricia who checked me out at the register. She politely informed me how to use the Target app on my phone while I purchased my new Dyson V8 animal vacuum cleaner. She was incredibly nice. (I gave her a hug afterwards!) Also, Linda Turner? assisted me with my purchase and was polite. There was also a younger girl working earlier on the sales floor who directed me to the Dyson vacuum cleaners and she was friendly, too. Overall, just a great experience! 😀
Always shop at this target and everyone is always willing to help! But tonight my shopping experience there was horrible . The lady at self checkout was really rude and looked like she just didn’t enjoy working there at all. Hope Next time I come someone friendly and helpful is there instead!
Always a wait here. Millions of registers... one or two open. They are always pushing you to self checkout. You pay more on average at Target then Walmart expecting better customer service. Self Check out is the opposite of customer service. Way to fail at your brand image. Welcome to Walmart with a red color scheme. A follow up to this trip. I wrote the above while waiting 30 minutes to buy apple juice for my kids at the beginning of our shopping. We could have waited less if front management hopped in to help instead of just watching. Hilariously on way out the same clip board manager who could not be bothered to help with check out earlier chased after us to make sure we had paid for the kids juices. Way to bring it home.
I just moved to the area so this is my closest Target. The staff that works here has been amazing and all of my interactions have been so pleasant. However, this is now the second time that I made a stop to the grocery side and have had a run in with expired food. First, I wanted to buy chicken, but the best by date was two weeks past the date. And today, I bought cheese and when I got it home, I found mold in the package. Completely unacceptable. Please make sure you pay attention to what youre buying at this store!
Arrived at the Target to get an icee from the Target Cafe only to have the cafe closed 4 hours early. When I called the corporate customer service and explained the situation, they called the store only to have the store tell him that they werent aware of what goes on at the cafe, which sounds a lot to me like the floor executive lying so that they dont have corporate knowing the terrible job that they do managing their staff. The store is fine, but the management sucks.
Terrible customer relations. I was there with my girlfriend and we needed help. We were told to wait and that we would be attended to promptly. Unfortunately we waited for 1 hour and no one approached us. We asked again if anyone was coming to help us and the only response we got was “ I don’t know”. I will not be coming back to this target again.
Overall the shopping experience I had was very pleasant. However the add on apparel was misleading. I tried to use my 10% off 40 for apparel and found out at the checkout that it did not cover my bras and panties I wanted to buy. The staff was helpful but the ad was misleading.
The most unique target cause the entrance is in the corner, good for exercise. Selection has a lot of quirky stuff here including decor that other stores don’t get but the trade off is the miss out on things that are at other stores. I was coming to get a blue tooth sender for a media device and they didn’t have it but had good customer service. In case you didn’t know Target doesn’t sell lighter fluid, I needed zippo lighter fluid.
I love Targets (Red Card member) and generally prefer to shop at them over grocery stores or Walmart BUT NOT THIS ONE. This Target is frequently out of stock of the items I want - tags on empty shelves. The floor personnel avoid helping customers - Ive seen one turn and walk away from a customer who caught his eye and said excuse me, could you... It was unmistakable and deliberate. The parking structure is also poorly designed with tight turns and small parking spaces.
Horrible. NATE IS electronics. I am trying 2 buy a 400.00 laptop. His angry russian.girlfiend hoverin 30 min. Me 40 min.,and 3 more customers backed up to be serviced. Just ridiculous.. child working here. The GF did not leave ubtil i took her picture. She literally....followed us around electronics
Let me first say that I love target! My review is for this particular location in Marietta and specifically the electronics department. I went to this location midweek and midday during my lunch break to purchase some wireless headphones. I picked up a pair and had questions, so I went near the register area where I saw a manager/associate (black shirt) speaking with another customer. They were speaking in detail about a product for a long period of time. While standing there I was never acknowledged and quite frankly ignored. No other associate in sight. Their conversation only stopped when the manager/associate’s mother came up. The manager/associate briefly paused the convo to speak with his mother. They then preceded to continue their lengthy discussion. I left the area and went to an in store phone to call for hep on the floor. The associate on the other end forwards the call to the electronics department to which no one answered. I almost feel like I was purposely ignored, but for what reason I don’t know. This is terrible customer service. I decided to leave and buy headphones elsewhere.
Apparently the closet target to my house i own in East Cobb is racist as can be. Shame as well because ive shopped in this location several times but get followed in store. Worst just had a empty travel bag i bought a single purchase of deodorant. (mind you retail stores this size, have cameras in just about every lane or opening with products in this day and age.) i get to self check out, ring up my products and without saying anything... As im about to package everything.... I have the same attendant i asked where to find the products im buying searching my bag for all the 5 minutes i was in their location. Disgusting. Im not a hard person to forget and yet i still get discriminated on while giving my money to Target. Never again.
I have shopped at the Target on Sandy Plains and Shallowford for 22 years and never had a problem with anyone there or had a bad experience there until today. In the past I have paid with cash or a credit card until today. I wrote a check for $130.50 and they would not accept my check. This was in front of 5 or 6 other customers waiting in line. They could not tell me why but that I should call a number on the back of my check to find out. Of course everyone in line thinks my check is no good. I called the number and after talking to 2 customer service people I found out I had no CHECK history with them and until I wrote smaller checks under $100 and they cleared could I write a check for over $100. Amazing they were happy to take my credit cards for 22 years but can not trust me for my check. They can not verify the check like most other merchants like Publix, etc... because if they did they would know my account has plenty of money to cover that check. After shopping there for 22 years I will not shop there again. Thanks Target!
I had the ugly experience on Wednesday, 01/06/2016, around 8:00 pm with Mr. Kolin from the Customer Service Department. Mr. Kolin presented himself to me as the Store Manager. I visited Target store at 1401 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta, GA. 30062 to buy few mechanical pencils for my grand-children. Some pencils were marked down, but when I paid the receipt showed the full original price. As a matter of fact I had the same experience at different Target at 1135 Woodstock Rd. couple weeks ago, around Christmas time. At that time after waiting for a half an hour the price was adjusted. This time, thanks to reading glasses I checked the price of pencils and found some discrepancies. It looks like its a common practice to advertise one price and charge the different one.I went to the Customer Service and asked Mr. Kolin to follow me so I can show him the marked down prices. Mr. Kolin confirmed difference in marked down prices and prices on the receipt and said that he will adjust them only as a big favor from him and Target . On the way back to the Customer Service, its a very big store so it took some time, I mentioned that Target regular increasing prices and using the Unfair Baseness Practice of placing one prices and charging different prices, because I had experience this Practice during the last two weeks. Mr.Kolin on the way back to the Customer Service told me that he liked Target very much, and he didnt like at al because I criticized the Target. And because he didnt like me, he is not going to adjust the price, actually confirming that its common Target Practice, permanently calling me Ai man! I specifically asked to call me Sir or Gentleman. He replied Who are you to be called Sir? Really, who I am? The grand-father who is almost 3 times older than Mr. Kolin, the Target customer for almost 40 years and many thousands dollars spent, the taxpayer who was paying for a Public School and a State College where Mr. Kolin could be educated. Mr. Kolin also told me to leave the Store, other wise he is going to call the Police. I suggested lets do it. When the Police Offices they told me that from now on Im not allowed to enter the Target or park my car on plaza in front the Store, other wise it will be considered as the Criminal By-passing!!! Wow! Is it 21st. century or what? Does US Constitution has the First Amendment? I bought mechanical pencils, I was cheated on price, Target accepted the price discrepancy, I expressed my opinion, the Store Manager Mr.Kolin didnt like my opinion and me personally, Mr. Kolin is official representative of Target so the Target doesnt like me either, Im not allowed to enter the Store or park my car in front of the Store. So the question is why the Target doesnt like?
Customer service is a joke tbh. Called twice to put an item on hold showed up and said that it wasnt there after promising would be there. I called customer service four times hung up on twice one just said come back on truck day you might be lucky other said sorry cant help.

2022-06-24We have the best Target. I’m spoiled by how fast my items come to the car when I order online for drive up pick up. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 3 minutes. The staff are wonderful and do a great job.

2022-07-11In a day of declining customer service and attitude my experiences here in last several visits have been great. Target made the shopping a great experience. Ohhh and they had merchandise on the shelves.

2022-06-02The CVS pharmacy inside this Target has completely spiraled! They have recently turned over their complete pharmacy staff and the new staff are RUDE and DISREPECTFUL! It is unexpectable how they treat the customers!

2022-06-27First and last time at this location. Horrible customer service and an unwilling manager to show up and help assist with the situation. Thought Target had better hiring expectations.

2022-05-09When returning an item, customer service incorrectly put my to be refunded money ($400) on a gift card that can only be used at target. I had both my receipt and card. The employee lied and said the card can be used anywhere other than target.

2018-11-05This store is one of my favorites in EAST COBB. Awesome layout with underneath the store parking or on top. When it rains we always part underneath and I recommend you doing the same! Great selection of everything especially home decor. Finding curtains to make designer paint is super hard but not at TARGET, they make it extremely easy with their OUTSTANDING selection of curtains and hardware.
