So much inventory, so many late styles across all departments from top brands, including competitive offerings from DSG house brand. I found browsing required a cart for getting everything to checkout.
Ask for help a couple of times and no one help me. But they have a good selection of items. Staff is ok. I would like for them to be more servicial.
I was looking for a specific brand of womens running shoes and received help from a very knowledgeable and friendly man. The store is clean and well stocked and social distancing is in place. I had a very good experience there today.
At 4 pm in the afternoon the day before my 11 year old daughter was to participate in a triathlon we realized that the tire in her bike was loosing air. I called the store and explained I needed the bike serviced that evening, they transfer me to the manager. The manager let me know they where very busy on that department but if came right away they would try to fix it for us. When I got there, Branden was repairing another bike and had a couple of clients he was taking care of. He was very efficient, he had my bike fixed and ready to go in no time. Overall I had a wonderful experience with the store. Branden was very personable and took it upon himself to give us a fantastic service. I am a highly satisfied customer. Two weeks later today, I went back to the store to buy something and again had a very good experience with their customer service.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from Donisha!!! I was there on Christmas Eve and needed a few last minute gifts to complete my list. After finding some Perfect items for my family, I found my way through the swift moving line to Donisha’s checkout. I was met by a Friendly, Cheerful, and Customer Service Pro!! She hit Every point of service and made me feel Completely Satisfied with my experience and purchases!! List complete and smiling Big, I stopped a Manager by the front door to let him know about my Excellent experience and he asked me to point out who had helped me out. I’m sorry to just now be writing this review, but I just found my receipt with Donisha’s name on it. Thanks again for letting me share my experience with Donisha at the NP Dick’s and providing Perfect gifts for Christmas 2020!! 🙏
Great place. Went a few times. Once even during the Black Friday event. The selection was good. Checkout lines were kept moving. Store senior staff were all there to help. They checked on prices etc. Labeling with tags would have helped find which items are on sale. The person at the bicycle counter was extremely helpful. Went out of the way to get a model from a different store.
An employee working in the ladies section was very helpful.
The blonde young teen cashier was rude and careless about sanitation. He was talking about how slimy his hands were and touched the clothes I was purchasing. He was that I was wearing gloves for him to say anything like that. Outside of him the store was really clean and fully stocked. Better than the sandy springs location
So-so at best. The staff is indifferent, and theyve decided to stop selling firearms for some reason. If you must go there, youll be fine, but I advise finding someplace else (or shopping online).
Employees were very helpful! I was looking for volleyball gear, they dont carry the shoes in store, but they ordered them for me in the store to be delivered at home. This particular store also doesnt carry hunting equipment.
Associates were very helpful and attentive. They answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable and that it was the right purchase. They also tailored our experience to our family. Additionally, the store manager came and helped us. The entire experience was a cut above. They’ve gained a customer for life as of now.
Bought a tent using the curbside pickup option. Had to come back the next day, which was roughly a 45 min drive each way, because I was given a broken & used tent. The girl answering the phone both days is extremely rude. The other employees however that I’ve dealt with were nice. I will say the girl has an attitude you’d expect from a store with their name.
I am only giving this store an extra star due to Jaimee. She was super helpful and knowledgeable in the firearms department. The first time I was looking for a new firearm I had to have the staff page people to that section 3 times to finally get someone. Waited 20 minutes in that area to talk to someone. Later on they told me it was ready to pick up and I had already gotten it at a different store. I called twice to cancel it and both times I the phone rang for a minute before I gave up. They seem to not have enough people. The staff is friendly, that is the one thing I like.
I shop here a lot because my kids plays lots of sports. Todays experience was by far the best. The gentleman that helped my daughter with cleats was patient and helpful. When we checked out the cashier was polite and efficient. Dicks will definitely have me as a customer for life.
It is very good place to buy sporting needs. I ordered online and picked up in store with not big fuss! I replaced my kid unfit shoes and got exchanged with other one’s. Staff supported well. Located in good place for shopping. For any future sport needs, it is best stop by!!
Jocelyn is the epitome of what customer service should be! She took a very difficult situation that I went through yesterday and handled it beautifully. She was calm during the situation and made sure that it was resolved to the very best of her ability. Nothing but incompetence and terrible customer service. Called ahead for an archery package for my sons birthday. They said it was waiting behind the counter and ready to just grab and go since I only had 20 minutes to get back. Showed up and one of the two guys tried to upsell me on a package twice as expensive. I went with the one I asked for and the other guys tells me he will be right back with the stabilizer for it. He also tells me they dont have any laser sights even though it said they did online. I stood around for 15 minutes waiting for this guy to get back. While waiting I found a crossbow I also wanted to buy but ask him about first. I got fed up and went to check out. One person working the registers, and the line wasnt moving. Guy in front has an issue so after losing another 10 minutes they call for the manager. Guess who it is? The guy that disappeared on me. I asked him if he got my stabilizer and he says no. I asked him why he wasted my time after I told him I needed to run, and no response. Stood there for another 5 minutes and still couldnt check out. Left the stuff there on the counter and said Im done with Dicks. Now I see why they have so many bad reviews and falling sales. They even have an F with the Better Business Bureau! Academy Sports is way better anyway. Not to mention Dicks stopped selling assault rifles like cowards. Never go back to a Dicks Sporting Goods again.
Online ordering and in-store pick up is a fantastic feature for this company. I have used this service several times recently and it has been a very positive experience. The prices at Dicks are little less than desirable, but when I do find something to buy the service has been good.

Honestly, dont go out of your way for this place. Ive been here often over the past 4 years since living in the area, and its not great. I have only met one employee who actually wanted to help me. Each of the others seem like its an inconvenience that Ive asked a question. If I know what I want, then Ill make a quick stop, but theres a good chance they wont have what youre looking for. They had an item that it said they had in stock online and it couldnt be found in the store. I asked what would happen if I ordered online and selected in store pickup and was told that theyd cancel the order or fulfill it elsewhere and deliver it.Again, if you know what you need and youre nearby, then it may be worth a shot. Otherwise hedge your bets on another store.
I had to use a motorized cart, but there is no room to maneuver. My wife had to go into all the aisles for me. I love the selection, but it is way too crowded.One more complaint was the temperature of the store. It was EXTREMELY hot.
This is a great location. Every time I have gone in the employees have been friendly and helpful. Almost every time I’ve gone in an employee has come up to ME to ask if I am doing alright and if I need help finding anything. It just shows that they care about their customers. The store is clean and well organized. I have yet to go in and see items misplaced around the store which is great
The she department staff was helpful, but had no idea what he was talking about. He could not advise me on shoes wider fit at all. They did have a good deal on shoes for my daughter.
Clean store. I went there to replace my sons bat because he broke one in a wood bat tourney. I was very pleased w/the selection. They had a lot to choose from in stock. I found a nice bamboo bat w/warranty for 49.99. What a steal!
Its been a long time since I have been attended in a store so well. My husband and I were looking for ski gear. Cory showed us all our options and instructed us extremely well without being pushy.
Staff is poorly trained, absolutely no help. Checking out was awful, person was rude, they have no customer service skills. These types of experiences remind me why I rather shop online with Amazon. I guess it’s in the name, should have known what to expect.
Was looking for womens padded bicycle shorts and they did not have any which I think was interesting however they did let you try stuff on so that was good and there was somebody right by the door asking what help you need it and what you were looking for so that was nice.
Good Dicks store. Big and bright. College team apparel selection is typical for Dicks. Their golf section is bigger then others. Didnt have stock of what I needed, but they offered to order it for me with free S&H and 20% off.
Jocelyn was very unfriendly, unhelpful, and all around rude during our visit. I was gifted a present that wasnt the right size so I went to exchange it, and she rang it up and automatically charged back to the other persons card before I could ask to get another item to match the amount I was gifted. She disputed the whole exchange from the beginning. Ill be utilizing Academy for any other sporting good purchase in the future.
I never leave reviews but I had to for this one. The service was nice and respectful but my goodness it was the slowest service ever!!! I had 4 items and it took forever!! I wanted a green Gatorade in the cooler refrigerator thing and it was right in the middle where its impossible to reach for.
Standard sporting goods store. Good sales from time to time. In my experience, things are often priced differently from how they ring up (generally less than the sticker price) and the clothing sections can be messy. The staff is ok, nothing to get excited about or upset about.
They have a lot of stuff...but not a lot of employees walking around to make sure one needs any help. I walked in each section of the store and down each isle. I did not encounter one employee so if you dont want to be bothered, or just want to pick up stuff and play with it, then this might be the store for you.
Im considering buying a firearm so I was just doing research to find what suits me best, but I left the store with a lot more knowledge due to the service I received. Held a few pistols to see what felt good and saw some great deals as price goes.
I went here for winter gloves. The mens going e racks were a mess and over half of them were not even mens gloves, but were for women or youths. I was unable to find any gloves in my size. The rest of the store seemed relatively organized, though.
I am only giving a one because you cant give a zero. Go out of your way to avoid this store. We bought a treadmill and were not only ripped off but victimized by misinformed and unscrupulous sales people. Buy direct on line from the manufacturer rather than going to this store which brings 0 value to the transaction.
The one downside to this store is lack of any reasonable help. There are people working here by they seem always to be busy with something else.....they are walking past you with a purpose....maybe the purpose is to avoid questions and work. I much rather prefer online purchase than to go into this place.

Very disappointing with this particular store. When I told a young lady I needed a certain size shoe to try on she brought back the wrong size. Twice. Finally after returning from the back for a third time she walks right by me to help someone else. Very unprofessional service, the manager was a joke to deal with as well. Definitely will not be shopping at this location again. Also very small selection of products overall.
Came here (Monday afternoon about 1:45) to purchase some soccer cleats for my daughter. No one seemingly available in shoe section to help me. What I saw available online was nowhere to be found on their floor so I decide to walk around the store looking for someone else to help me. Saw one girl who appeared to be an employee duck behind clothes rack. She must have found the trap door to secret underground tunnel system because I looked in area where she fled and no sign of anybody. So I went back to shoe section, two other customers standing around still no sign of shoe guy/gal. Determined not to make this a total loss i head to find some socks for my daughter and everything was out of order and could not find her size. Left here after about 15-20 minutes totally disgusted by lack of customer service. I ordered from them once in the past for store pickup and they messed that up pretty bad as well, had me wait for them to find item that they claimed was ready when they sent me an email. Wont be going back to this store.
Still confusing about which stores offer a Military discount. This one doesnt. Store Manager not knowledgeable about current company policy. Staff was friendly and helpful, but I will not shop this store very much.
If rude millennial girls aggravate you, then avoid this location.If youre looking for firearms, avoid this location - the entire section is gone.As of right now, theres almost no weight equipment or bikes, so unless youre looking for all the leftover winter clothing, avoid this location.
Dicks is an apt name to describe their employees passion for what they do!Horrible, horrible company! Do not hire their service that will place your basketball hoop. I ordered mine on 11-28-2014 and they cant place it until 1-12-2015... Ridiculous. The Dicks staff cares not and are very disorganized. They are quick to sell you their credit card but are not there to service your order.Avoid. Try Academy or REI.
Have been in this store several times since moving to the area, if anything, theyre consistent! Zero customer service on the floor, Zero product knowledge with sporting equipment. Gave up on going in there for my sons endless needs for travel baseball gear. My son needed a Wood bat for travel baseball (12yrs) and I was lucky enough to find a guy that wanted to stand there and argue with me that he needed a metal bat, not wood as he is too young for wood and they only make adult wood bats! Of course he knew this because he Use to play baseball. I explained that they DID make wood bats for his size and most travel teams use wooden bats during the fall. Then I got my favorite line when going to Dicks...Well you can check on-line, we probably have what you are looking for there! So, save your gas and dont bother going to the store -
VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF! we picked up a hale rack plus others big stuff for our mini gym at the house and one guy helped us to figure out how to fit 4 heavy and big boxes in the car.

No one comes to greet you and ask to help you. Always have to wait extra time because they only have one person at the register. Today, the girl at the cash register told me that I could go ahead and take my receipt out of her machine myself but did tell me to have a nice day:) I thought that was weired. Poor management.
Bad service avoid this store, they can’t even find item which is in the store with label in there own system. Also don’t use Apple Pay here they system is all messed up.

I bought a bike there and that will be my last purchase at this store and chain. Completely unprofessional and unbelievably unorganized. If youre wondering what their customer service is like, their name says it all.
The place is always clean and typically easy to find things. Sales associates try to be helpful but dont always seem to be the most knowledgeable. They mean well though.
The staff at this location every time i go is terrible. The line to check out is always a pain because they only ever have two people working at the checkout. I also tried to make a return in store but the manager was being extremely difficult, so i had to go online to get it done. Poor customer service.
For the shoe section you have to ask a staff member every time you wanted to try a pair/different size on. There are some shoes in boxes all ready to try on, but not much of a selection.

Went here to get my niece a birthday present - was looking for softball equipment but the selection had been shrunk down and the selection was very limited.
Worst place , they asked me to apply for credit card to get free tennis racket restringing but they are taking lots of time to get the restringing done . Its like 4 days to get the restringing done and employees are not friendly.

2022-05-10First time buying shoes here. I like the way its automated and I can easily just enter what shoes I want and what sizes two pair at a time. The employee brought them out and was very pleasant. All in all, a pain-free experience

2022-05-14Really clean store. Easy to navigate and find what we were looking for in the store. Much better than some other stores from the same chain. Very nice staff. Even though this store is further away, it might be worth the drive in order to shop the merchandise before purchasing.

2021-08-14This was the second location we visited within an hour and they both were low on football gear. We were advised to try online since they got hit hard. I think they should increase their stock numbers and all around gear for youth football both stores had a very small section compared to the baseball section. RAMIZ was very friendly and assisted us during checkout.

2022-06-21Not the best experience. I know its hard to find help these days. But the employees you do have should be helpful to customers. Couldnt find much help when i was looking for something in baseball section, finally found myself. The checkout line was probably 20 people deep, with only 2 lanes open. Neither of the cashiers were in any hurry, and their manager didnt step in and open another lane, just piddled around behind the counter. Ive been to other locations (east cobb, kennesaw) that has always been a much better experience

2022-02-20In an era where customer service has become a thing of a past post COVID-19, I genuinely felt like I got taken care of when I visited this location. Even though my racquet restring job was left undone, I did not leave the store mad or upset, mainly because the store manager took time to explain what happened and sincerely apologized. Nice customer service can be found at this location.

2022-01-24The website should not say curbside returns available if you get to the store and they tell you at curbside that you have to go in to do a return. I had to remind them that they had curbside service. The employee was not happy coming out to my car and would not even speak to me. I’m giving 2 stars though because they did do the return within the hour after I dropped it off.

We frequent this location and he consistently finds ways to get us what we need. Recently, he coordinated with the manager of another store to assist with a difficult to find piece of workout equipment. Through his efforts, we were able to purchase all of the needed pieces.Thank-you Rick (Northpoint) and Michael (Perimeter) for working together. We really appreciate it.
