I came into this location after work today looking for a NorthFace backpack for an upcoming trip. I walked in and noticed they were having renovations done and things seemed very slow in the store,so I figured things may be a little chaotic with having inventory readily available. I was helped by a very nice sales associate who called for help over the walkies and the manager on duty, Greg, told her there was no possible way for her to go an look in the back for me although the associate was willing to assist me with finding what I was looking for.Gregs response definitely wasnt what kind of customer service I was expecting especially which such low customer traffic in the store. I definitely wish he would have been willing to be of service to customers wanting to shop in his location.

Like evrry place there’s issues! 1st time here I wasn’t happy but then I called and spoke to two managers name was Shelly and Sam they changed the whole experience to 10 out of 10If someone is not helping you properly or responding just go see them and they will get it handled!Sam stood by till I picked my bike out and helped my unload from my car which first day they made my wife pick it up

Probably the biggest location I’ve been to it’s clean and has plenty of variety and well put together displays. They could use a few more people on staff but like most businesses I’m sure they’re struggling to keep/hire right now.
We went to get a bike as a Christmas gift. Brendan was awesome at fitting the bike to our daughter and getting the accessories installed. The store was decently stocked with bikes. All staff we encountered was friendly and helpful.
Terrible! I spent nearly $500 in baseball equipment. As my son was trying out bats the store manager refused to replace the broken tee so that my son could feel which bat he liked better considering that he is progressing from a drop 8 to a drop 5 bat which is a huge progression. We asked the associate to assist and the manager did not. I nearly took my business to better baseball but I could not make it in time to Marietta. Awful experience.
Shouldve waited until they stocked back up from Christmas. Lol. But they had a lot of racks for clearance. The store is very neat. Lines werent long. Everyone had their mask on and the associates were very knowledgable and helpful.

Quick stop to try on cleats my son wants to customize. Staff was eager to help and was able to let us know on the spot what was in stock and what wasnt.
We purchased a NordicTrack and got it home and started to put it together. We got about 70% done and realized we are missing two pieces. We were frustrated because the equipment was $1300. My husband call Nordic Track and it they said it will take 3 to 4 weeks. Landon in fitness was able to take the parts from the display so we can use our Treadmill. Thanks Landon!
Theyre doing a great customer service and my ratting could be 5 stars but some times isnt easy to find a price tag on the items however, is the best sport store in GA I really like it
The management here is trash, they don’t know how to treat their employees. I’m not even an employee and I know how trash their managers are. The hourly associates at this store deserve much more than how they are treated. Iv seen managers yelling at associates for being a couple minutes late, and won’t work with them on basic human rights. I will only shop at this store if I see employees being treated better.
Brian in sales for sports equipment was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, patient, and listened to our wants and needs. He should receive 5 stars.However, the lack of face mask coverings by employees was astounding. Oh yes, they did have face coverings, but below the nose or around the neck. This helps no one is the fight against Covid-19! In addition, there was no mask enforcement for” no mask shoppers”, in addition, “to below the nose mask” shoppers. Following CDC protocol is not that difficult! If the greeter can’t properly wear a face covering, it sets an unprecedented example for shoppers!!!!! Get your people covered!
I came in to purchase a canopy for our beach trip, and I was extremely happy with the assistance I received. I was helped by Jackson he explained the set up of my canopy. Once at the register C.J and Tony explained my protection plan and loaded my items in my cart. Being a woman shopping alone, they just made things a lot smoother!
Ordered some shoes from this store and received used shoes. Ive lost complete faith in this store and their ability to provide anything online. Like many other that posted, Im happy to take my money to the other stores that care.
Great place for sports equipment for just about every sport or leisure activity. Also has a good selection of outdoor items such as tents, stadium chairs, coolers etc. Sign up for their mailing list to get coupons. Ive bought all types of items from them including canopies, shoes, cleats, bats, balls etc. All have been of good quality and the return / exchange policy is quick and easy.
Katie in the shoe department was phenomenal! She appeared to be the only one and quite busy but was attentive to every customer and worked so quickly! Even though they didnt have my size ,she was able to order them online for me and have them shipped to my house. I appreciate when an employee has it together!
I hate shopping here but its about the only choice for buying soccer cleats. It always takes forever to find help since you cant pick your own size an employee has to get it from the back and there are never enough scheduled. On top of that theres no prices on the boxes they bring out and its impossible to tell which shoe on display they actually brought you. The only way to confirm the price is at checkout, since there are never employees around. Always, even though you say you want something cheap, you get an $80 shoe. The whole experience is consistently awful.

The guys at the Golf Department are truly great people! They made me feel welcome and were really helpful! They re-grip my golf clubs and they look amazing! No need to drive down to the pga store at all! This guys know their stuff and will always use their services!! 5 star service and better prices!

I stopped in to dicks for a pop up tent. The 1st staff member made sure I found them and the second helped me pick out the one that suited my needs. The cashier was quick with the line. I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Went in to buy some shoes for work had a coupon for $20 off of $100 waited in line for 30 min waited on a manager for another 30 manager did not honor coupon even tho the exclusions are clearly listed on the coupon, and the brooks was on some sort of pice of paper they printed out taped on the register.If this is the case it needs to be on the exclusions listed on my coupon not a piece of paper taped to the register

We waited for about 20 minutes in the shoe section and no one came to help us.I ended up asking for assistance and still couldnt get anyone to assist us in the hiking boots section. To bad too because I going the exact boots I wanted and bought them at REI.Huge selection of everything outdoors however. Thats the reason for the 2 stars.
Only real option left for sporting goods.Dicks is nice and has a good selection. The pricing can be high for clothing.Try to find and use coupons as Dicks is always offering some promotion.I usually get the $10 off $50 coupon and use my score card for other items.The staff are helpful, but sometimes get busy with crowds.
What a disaster. Looking at treadmills - asked if the item on sale was the floor model (2X). They stated it was stock. We purchased &paid for delivery. They call us on the way HOME to tell us the item is a FLOOR model. Unbelievable. We had to drive back to the store to cancel the order. No problem with Dicks Sporting Goods but this store had poor customer overall. We wont be going there for any big purchases again.
Matthew definitely turned my shopping experience around.. spending a little time near closing trying to find outfits for everyone in my family (5 people.. thats a lot of money about to be spent) and the gentlemen upstairs was making me feel so nervous and like an inconvenience so I almost left with nothing.. I am so glad I didnt because then I got the chance to interact with Matthew and let me tell you he is an asset to this store! Such a nice attitude, personable, and I even watched him handle an issue with the guest before me with the most professionalism and poise anyone in that store would have been able to offer. 5 stars for him!

They refused to sell me an airsoft speedloader even though I am way over 21. No, not airsoft ammo, and airsoft speedloader (a clear piece of plastic that cant harm anyone unless you willingly break it up and swallow the shards.) The store is the dirtiest one Ive seen. The staff at the register and the manager I talked to were EXTREMELY rude. I hope this location goes out of business.
I never leave reviews but the 20 seconds I spoke on the phone with an associate asking if they had an item in stock was the worst! Super rude and clearly no work ethic, good thing there’s a sports store down the road with the same item for cheaper
Went here to buy a new punching bag and new gloves. Mind you I am 19 but look 25-27. I was with my girlfriend and I and there was one bag I was actually really wanting to buy. So, before I decided to buy it I wanted to punch it a couple times to make sure its what I want. I was having a good time with my girlfriend who was sitting on the bench just about 4 feet from where I was punching. We were waiting on dinner reservations for our anniversary. I had only hit it twice before one of the workers comes over. I smiled and said Hey! and was expecting, is there anything I can help you with ( I actually did need help with the glove sizes). No. Instead he is smart and ask us So, your parents just drop yall off here and yall think its funny to come over here and play with the equipment? How old are yall? 15? 16? Yall need to leave. This inst daycare. Now, I do know and have definitely seen kids playing around at the mall but this was not the case, we know when is the time to be goofing around and here wasnt. By this point I gone from my calm self to furious. I didnt let myself snap and said Actually no. Were here on our anniversary and Im 19, and shes 18. I came here to buy a bag ( I had saved forever to buy) and wanted to test it out before I bought it. He got took back by this and said well. . . and I just said Its alright, Ill go somewhere else. Come on honey. and we both went on our way. They lost a big sale because of this guy. Wish I got his name. Just remembered he was about 63, beard, average size with a head bigger and cockier than normal. I now only go there to look at clothes and shoes to buy from other stores. Also, I ended up buying the same bag from somewhere else. Dicks is over priced but that isnt something I am going to complain about.
Purchased a jacket on line during black Friday. Three days later they sent me a message saying they over sold and could not fill my order. I was pretty upset since I could have purchased it at a different store for the discounted rate. I am sure they will purchase more of these jackets, and they could have filled my order. But instead they offered me $20 off something i didnt want. Academy sports here I come.
I love the mall of georgia location! I recently had to visit another location and the stock was very limited and no one could be found to help answer some questions i had. This is NEVER the case a the MOG location! There are always knowledgable people that appear to love their job and are always ready to answer the toughest questions. Highly recommended!

I’ve been shopping at Dick’s for years, and have never had a bad experience, until today. I went in to look at jersey’s and I went to the dressing room with my boyfriend. The rooms were unguarded, and the doors were unlocked so I invited my boyfriend to come in (assuming it wasn’t a problem) and Bob approached the area, shouting at us to get out of the fitting room. He was demanding that we open the door when I was already undressing. I understand that some stores have rules about fitting rooms, which is fine. But when you approach me, scolding me and being extremely rude, that crosses the line. He could have simply & calmly explained that only one person was allowed at a time, but instead he demanded that my boyfriend come out and then said that I needed to give him my purse. Like I said, I understand the rules, it is the way that I was APPROACHED & the entire interaction with Bob was terrible. I was almost afraid to walk past him again, because he was such an unpleasant person. Will not be shopping here anymore. And I really hope that this review gets noticed so that other people won’t be treated this way while shopping.
Worst experience ever. Screwed up my online order for Mothers day of all things. Treated like im trying to steal something then when they find the proper paperwork and realize they accidentally canceled the order the staff ducked me until i gave up and left the store. Needless to say my family wont be shopping here again. Started at 10am. Its now 2pm still looking for kayaks. One furious ex customer
Tried on a work boot but the box only had one shoe. When checking out I was told they did not have matching pairs in stock. Employees were helpful but the overall dick’s company seems unorganized. Probably won’t go to dick’s in general again.
If I could give this store negative stars, I would. The management is pitiful. I refuse to shop at this store anymore. I have complained to corporate about this store. Their lack of response shows the lack of care and respect that this company has for their employees and customers. I live within 5 miles of the Mall of Georgia, but I will drive to Academy Sports in Gainesville instead of shopping here.
ARBAZ HOSSAIN IS GREAT! I was having some issues with another employee and he stepped in and quickly diffused the issue. After everything, he made sure I left satisfied. He helped with all of my questions about the return. If you ever need ANYTHING, definitely look for him. He is a gem 👍🏽

Although they didnt have the shoe size I wanted for my selection the guy in the shoe department was very helpful, however the cashier didnt seemed to pleased to be there. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Shopped at Dicks for a baseball glove. Manager is lazy! Had to wait 20 mins for someone to help us and when they arrived didnt care about the customer at all. They had a small closet right off shopping floor with baseball gloves stored in there but would not let us look at different colors. Just said thats all we have. I will never buy from here again if I can help it. Go to better baseball or the new Academy under construction in Buford.
Dick sporting goods at mall of ga is really trash. I return a kayak with missing a handle and the hole where handle use to be is RIP broken . I know its a return from other customers. As soon as I finish return a guy put it back to the same spot I got it from. What a sale practice they waiting for next person to buy and hope he will not return. Bad idea stay clear from this place. Never visit here again.

Seriously walked around the store for 10 minutes before I could find an employee to ask where the Hydroflasks were. When I finally did, he informed that they were up under the stairs and didnt offer to help me find the supposedly rotating display. When I finally found it after consulting another employee at the register, half were either dented or missing lids. Left without making a purchase. No thanks.
The dressing room is NASTY! Gum everywhere!! I had to push a button and wait 5 minutes for someone to come let me in this dirty room...goodwill has cleaner dressing rooms!! Unacceptable! The store itself is nice so why aren’t the dressing rooms kept up?
There is absolutely no structure to the lines for purchase. Some people waiting in line over 20 mins while others just walked up. Fix your register setup to match that of Marshall’s, TJ Maxx...
Took forever to find in the store help to find what I was looking for. When I finally called the store from inside the store a sales associate came and found me. They did not have The item I was looking for which was an Eno accessory. Upon meeting the cells associate I tried to shake his hand and he just looked at me like I was dumb. My girlfriend tried to chase down a sales associate before this and it took her four times of saying excuse me excuse me and finally tapping him on the shoulder to get him to follow her back to where we were. I thought that both sales associates and the person that I had to get on the phone were all generally pretty rude. I did not enjoy my experience and I will not be going back.
Will never shop at Dicks again. This store has been terrible for years. No customer service and terrible attitude from employees. Throw in their stance against the 2nd Ammendment and you wonder how they are even in business. Not for long im sure. Buy local or go to Academy.
The equipment was there but good luck getting anyone to help you find a shoe size or help you find anything. They were more interested in the new batting cages.

Rude not heplful went to buy a kayak today was looking at the feild and stream seen another one on sale a manager called an associate over to help me . the associate asked me if i need help i said yeah can you tell me about this kayak he said yeah its not an sale anymore this is the new price and pulled the sale tag off it and the other 3 next to it ok i get it someone didnt remove the sale tag last night mistakes happen. but he never answerd my question about the kayak i got so pissed i left the store extreemly un professional so they lost the sale on that a paddle new life jacket and fishing equipment and ill never set foot in this store again.there is plenty of other places to shop also sent a email to their corprate office in the parking lot about my shopping experince!!!!
Cashiers in here are not working efficiency. I waited for 20mins for checking out there is only 1 person before me. There are 3 cashiers are all the same. Please educate employees !
This place is ridiculously over priced. I dont mind paying more if the quality of products are better and the customer service is good. I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me with a high end product. No one was available, no one seemed to have any knowledge about the products and everyone working there seemed to be under 18 without a clue.
Looked at the inventory of weightlifting eqpmnt , Nike shorts , shirts and athletic apparel was pretty impressed fashion wise most of the inventory seems up to date there is a nice selection of running shoes there are a lot of choices at this location I did not give a 5 star because no one asked me if I need help with anything this was just based on inventory !!!!!!

Most of the staff need some customer service training. However, the young man who helped me with my bike was extremely courteous and went the extra mile in trying to give great customer service.
Decent selection of fishing gear for the average fisherman. Severely lacking for more serious anglers. Price has improved, but still a noticeable difference from other sources.
This was probably by far the best Dicks that I have gone into as far as looks go. The floor service was disgusting. We couldnt get one employee to help us. After trying to ask for assistance for about 30 minutes we walked out.

Why are your fitting rooms scattered out with no one to unlock them? I was wandering around looking for an employee and i saw 2 other people looking confused and lost. I pressed the button and no one showed up to unlock the door.
No one is ever!! at the shoe department. Multiple times, weekend or not, I havent been able to find anyone who will help me. The one time I bought work out clothes from the store, the line took forever to get through.

Every time I go into that store the cashiers are rude. I even witnessed a cashier speaking down to the manager. You can never find help and the shoe section is always empty so I drive to Athens to get my sneakers.

Huge store had everything my hubby was looking for. We went near closing so not alot of staff available as far as I could see but we managed on our own with no issues.

I bought something online with a gift card drove in traffic and hour later for them to tell me I have to repurchase the item only 4 days after I ordered it. The kicker is that they had not placed the funds back onto my gift card. The manager had no solution for me but to go 30 minutes one way back home and come back to repurchase the item. A waste of time and on the holidays
Bob is a dick to customers who dont even try to interact with him. He approached us and was unnecessarily rude to my girlfriend and I. Ill never come back as long as he is employed here.

2022-06-22Thank you George for helping me and my son Chris. My son is 31 years old and is completely blind from a head trauma 11 years ago and George was so patient with Chris and He let him in the batting cage and Chris had so much fun we ended purchasing several items. Thank you George for you great customer service.

2022-02-20Went to get my sons soccer cleats... first they dont have enough people to take care of their customers, the person that we asked help to brought us some random cleats that we did not like and because there was so many people we were not able to get anymore help and we decided to go to a different store

2022-02-18Took my son too try the bats in the batting cage they have, told me he could only try the limited selection they have. Why bother having a cage to try out bats if it’s just going to be the garbage selection they decided to have in there. I will go to academy from now on.

2021-08-01Came in here looking for some firearms and firearm accessories. They didnt have any. Sign of the time, it is what it is. Decided I would go look for some other camping gear that was on my list. Almost everything I could possibly need to put together for my camping trip they dont carry in this store anymore. They have some sleeping bags, camping pads, and tents, with but thats about the limit of what theyve got. Rather disappointed that I made a trip all the way here to find out they didnt have a whole lot of anything other than some really overpriced clothing.
