The store is always very clean and employees are always nice. They have a lot of good sales. They have a box of disposable masks at a table in front of the store if you forget one. The only reason I give it 4 stars is they dont have plus size clothes for women. A good store for sports and outdoor clothes and shoes as well as sports equipment. We will come back again.
Store and employees are nice. But the bathrooms here are horrible. How does such a nice store have worse bathrooms than a one pump Chevron where you have to request a key from the clerk to use the one toilet located on the side of the building and the bottom of the door doesnt go all the way to the floor so there is a bunch of bugs, its wet, and the toilet tank lid is missing. At least drag some fresh paint over the walls and occasionally sweep the floor.
I you want to over pay for Walmart quality gear for little Suzys softball game, this is the place for you!However, if you want even decent quality gear or dont want to pay quality prices for sub-par equipment, then avoid it.The employees are always nice, so that is worth a star.
Not much to say. I was looking for a large water bottle for my daughter. As I went into the store, I was greeted by an employee. I asked him where the large water bottles were and pointed to a general area. I had a little bit of a hard time finding the bottles but overall my visit to this store was okay.
I didnt buy anything but only because what I wanted wasnt in stock ,but the service of the three young ppl out on the floor was great...I didnt have to look for help they found me ! and when I told them what I wanted they searched instore and online...thanks for customer service done the right way!
So Pleased...Went to store to get a pair ofSneakers for track practice and every time I visit this location the associate CJ is there and he is always so pleasant energetic friendly and helpful. My son was pleased at how well he knew his merchandise. Looking forward to our next visit.Thanks for hiring such a great employee!
Very clean very organized and quiet. Most of the time I love to shop without being bothered by a sales rep. Sometimes I need one around to answer small questions. In this case I went looking for a rep and didnt see a single one in the sports running section. Mind you I was walking around that section for about 20 minutes and still didnt get helped. I decided to leave without mentioning anything.
We were looking at athletic shoes for my son today, a size 11 double E and had it narrowed down (no pun intended) to a pair of Nike or a pair of Under Armours. A sales rep/ store employee, Mario, walked by and we asked him some questions about the two brands, and which one runs wider, etc. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a 20% off coupon that I had received by email, but we wanted to compare shoes with Famous Footwear. We asked Mario if he could hold the Nike and he was kind enough to put my sons name on them, and carry them to the front of the store for us. Thanks, Mario! He was very nice. We really like the Peachtree Corners location.
My husband and I went in 11/3/18 for a tennis racket to give as a gift. The selection is pretty small for a sporting goods store in a tennis crazy area of town and kind of hidden from the main view. Cephus saw me wandering around and recognized that I couldnt find what I was looking for even though he was really far away from me. He came right to me and then led me right to the tennis section. He was a joy to meet and very knowledgeable about the merchandise. He brought in Shelly to help us choose a racket and she was a joy too and really knows the game and the merchandise! They have both set an unbelievable standard of customer service in this store. When I read bad reviews about this stores customer service, I have to believe they did not encounter either of these two rock stars. Thanks again Cephus and Shelly. We will be proud to give the gift you helped us choose and we look forward to seeing you again and again. After being made to feel so welcome and valued, we will definitely be back!
Wanted to buy golf set after testing at practice range in Dicks Norcross store.The gentleman looking after golf section asked us to return on weekday. After about 10 days gap I went today to the same store again, for which I offer sincere apologies. Now the behavior was awkward, he had no time to entertain our queries or advise us which golf set to buy. I understand he had no interest in sale of golf clubs, which he abundantly displayed by his insolent replies. Very disappointing experience.
Purchase some workout clothes from Dicks Sporting Goods today, after going home I realized that I had a $20 off coupon. I called the store, Emily picked up and told me that I could go back and I could get $20 off. When I got there, the line was getting long, and Emily helped me with a smile. She fixed everything for me. Her customer service was awesome!!! Will definitely shop there again. :)
Fair. The guy at the desk was excellent. Asked was there a bathroom available and he said yes. Gave me directions and off I went. A white lady asked if I needed help and I said I was going to the bathroom. She said it was out of order. I continued to bathroom and it worked perfectly. Had multiple stalls. White lady thinks all blacks steal. This happened November 2 around 8.
Customer service is hit or miss. Prices espcially on clothes are far overpriced, but thats not really the fault of anyone at the store. Only local place to buy many sports and camping related goods so Im a regular. A step above walmart, but a step below REI in prices, produc, and service
Bought a bike. Service could be better. Shldnt have to ask every single question about the bike, like there is NO RETURNING ANYTHING. The only warranty you have is if you purchase the extended warranty. Thats ridiculous. But my friend wanted the bike here... 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
After I went to pick up a canoe I had purchased online, they helped me with advice on oars and jackets, returned a tie-down set that was incompatible with my car, threw in a couple of spare ratchet straps for free, and helped me haul it and tie the boat down atop my Sportswagen. Antoines your man!
I love Dicks online BUT this store is terrible. I have gone out of my way to go to the store and it is terrible. Today I asked for directions to roller blades as I needed a gift for my daughter. The first person acted as if they didnt see me and ignored me. The second person sent me on a wild chase and the third person walked away from me and when I caught them they told me they didnt have roller blades! I went to sports authority and was taken care of and I will always go back to sports authority when I dont buy on the web. This store needs lots of help when it comes to customer service!
Ipurchased 2 bags of apple flavored corn to feed my deer a few days ago, it was molded and stunk so bad I only put enough back in the bag to show the manager. The manager would not refund or just exchange for regular corn or even half off . I started to get a lil you know what but I he looked weak as water so I spared the lil dude🌽 made my day !!! Next step is The national corn cob inspector LOL
Customer service is awful. We told the employee which punching bag we wanted and he went in the back to get it ... and then never reemerged. Another employee walked by and asked if we needed help, told him the other guy went to get our bag but hadnt returned, then he headed off. About 10 minutes later he came back and ringed the original employee who left to get the bag, who told this employee that he had brought it to the front for us. Thanks for the heads up! (not)
They had only 3 pairs of womens hiking boots out of about 9x as many mens. Their bike section has limited/close to no cycling gear. Their swim section is not for actual swimmers, but rather kids and others who want to splash around in a pool. But hey, its a great store if you want to overpay for Nike clothes to appear as though you are active.
FIGURE OUT YOUR CO2 TANK ISSUES!! For the past 4 years I have kept my mouth shut, but I have to fill my CO2 once a month for my fish tank, and every single time I call it’s broken or needs to be refilled. It is ridiculous!! Not to mention the attitude I always get on the phone.Then I call all over Atlanta, 7 different stores all of them are broken or need to be refilled.I call Sports Authority and it’s always working and ready to go. Very nice and helpful people. Unforntaley they are an hour away or I would never use Dicks for anything again.
The check out clerk ended up putting all my items in a defective bag that was slightly ripped. When I got home I realized one of the pair of Nike youth pants for my son was missing. It was obvious that it fell out in the parking lot after checking everywhere.I went back to Dicks in Norcorss 30 minutes later and spoke to the manager Vickie. Not only was she rude she wasnt even sympathetic. I almost felt like she was accusing me of trying to rip them off for $30 of clothing. I was wearing a business suit and I had my 8 year old with me so not exactly looking like a scam artist. She just wanted to throw out, Ive worked for Dicks for 7 years and our bags have never ripped line on me like she was some sort of power freak.I have given this store a lot of business because of all the sports my kids play. I will not step foot in here again. Be aware for Vickie if you need a managers assistance. She will not have a sympathy at all. Customer no service.My business will go to Academy now.
Lacking. Poor customer service. Cant find any employees to help. Only 1 guy at the register and front desk area. Front area, customer service area and registered are very cluttered and looks dirty. Coyls not find the entry point for the checkout bc its so cluttered. Ugh!!! Shoulds be better for what they charge at this store.
DO NOT buy any tennis related items if you dont already know what you want. No one in the store knew anything about tennis racquets or the differences between racquet type or could recommend a particular kind based on ability. They advertised a demo program but when asked said they no longer had it. No one could answer a question and no one worked in that area. Buy tennis related items elsewhere, anywhere but Dicks.
Horrible experience with this location. This happened in the Summer of 2015. Brought an Umbro soccer ball. Used it, the stitches on the ball broke in less than 5 months in normal use. I call the customer service to get a new soccer ball because we had also purchased an extended warranty. Customer service was nice and polite, said that we would receive a code to give to the nearest Dicks location to get a new soccer ball of the same value or brand because Umbro is Dicks Sporting Goods exclusive brand so its definitely covered 100%.Went to the nearest store; which is also the store we bought the ball in the first place. Talk to the female employee working the register, rudely denies me saying No, this warranty does not cover it anymore because it has changed, you used the ball, blah blah blah. I explain to her why it was covered and what customer service said. She was like No, Im not accepting this.(In a rude tone). I ask her to call the manager and she cockily says I AM THE MANAGER. And guess what? After trying to explain again just to make sure she got the right info, she called her female manager. Yeah right youre the manager.The manager was even MORE rude and cocky as she was. Basically repeating everything the employee said. The two females were basically racially profiling me because they treated me like I didnt know English and that I didnt read the warranty or understand what the customer service was saying. And probably because I am Asian, they thought that I was trying to trick/lie my way to get a new soccer ball. I dont know if they were being racist, but I can just say they were anything but polite and professional.I go home and call the special Umbro customer service and the person on the phone was very apologetic for the way we were treated. He said that he would give that location a call to tell them whats up.We go back to the store and the female manager and her employee were both there. Putting on their b*** faces up again. I told them the manager should have received a call from the Customer Service and the female manager cockily said Pshh, I didnt receive anything. And guess what? Right after that, another male manager came out and said I received a call, replace their soccer ball. We got our soccer ball and they didnt even dare try to act cocky anymore.
By far one of the worst experiences ever. I purchased a pair of cleats which were a size too small. The cashier tells me EVERYTHING she couldnt do since I didnt have my receipt. Yet the only purchase I have ever made are a pair of cleats. After 10 minutes of going back and forward with this lady she looks my information up in the system and replaces the cleats. As Im walking out the door the alarm goes off. She purposes leaves the sensor on my shoes. People with nasty attitudes should NOT be able to work in customer service.
Morons work at this store. Half the merchandise has no prices and half is mis-marked. When you check out the real pricing is always much higher. The manager blames it on other customers putting things back on the wrong racks, even though multiple identical items are on the rack. She argues until you give up and begin to walk out and then she says as you are leaving Let me do something for you. Idiots. Every time I go into a Dicks I have a bad experience or they dont have what I need. Dicks will go bankrupt due to mismanagement. I guarantee it.
Went to buy co2 tanks for paintball guns and after being directed to the location in the store by the hunting/gun clerk I go back to have the tanks filled to be told the machine doesnt work. Why waste my time trying to sell me co2 tanks that you cant fill. Really disappointed and upset I wasted $80 buying paintball stuff to not be able to use it. Inconvenient!

2022-03-12I’m sorry to say, but this store has very poor customer service. We were charged for the same item twice and they won’t fix the issue over the phone. When we called, the manager on duty was rude and hung up on me. I don’t think we were asking too much for them to fix their error w/o us having to come back into the store.

2021-10-17My daughter left everything that she needed for practice at home, returning back home wasnt an option. I was able to find everything I needed (with the assistance of a Store associate) and dash through checkout (again a helpful store associate, Qiana, at the register was on point) in less than 15 minutes. Great experience when it was needed!

My 12 year old son wanted to spend his Christmas money on his next season Ball gear. Shakira was very patient and kind with us. It was busy that day. But made my son and I feel we were the only customers there! That matters!I really hope you keep Shakira a happy employee so we get to see her again!Please give her a shout out!
