Terrible experience. I think IvLeft 2 reviews in my life, not including this one. I’m heated. Refused to take my return because the box was opened!!!!!!! When my return policy on both online and on my original customer receipt does NOT state opened boxes will not be returned. Only the merchandise itself.

Dillards security makes you feel like a common criminal. Because youre just browsing for what to buy. They think youre going to shop lift. Back in 2016, we went upstairs to buy something then we came back downstairs their was this african american security guard standing their, like we had done something wrong. The other one followed us all the way out to the food court until we sat down and took out coats off. They dont make us feel very welcomed in their store. We lived here since 1990 and thats how long my family been shopping at Dillards never have, stolen anything in my life!You cant just browse anymore. When you purchase something they really watch to make sure you dont put nothing in your bag. They should know us since we have been a customer since 1990s. Its really profiling and harassment.

Rude people in the mens wear department
One of my favorite stores in Peachtree Mall. Very clean and organized, competent, knowledgeable and professional staff help you with anything you may need. Great variety and quality selections of inventory as well as always a sale of some kind running thats worth its bang for bucks. Anything not in stock theyll happily order for you. If I could give more than 5 stars this Dillards would definitely get best of the best in my opinion. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff and managers of this Dillards you ladies and gentlemen make this a pleasant and rememorable store.
This Dillards is located in the middle of the Mall and works as a walk through store but with GREAT PRODUCTS. The ladies in lingerie were the best!!!!

Very helpful in the woman dept. But it never fails if I go to the mens casual someone will be at the register as we approach and tell us if we need help just ask. As soon as we need assistance no one is around to help. I have started just walking all the way across the store to the mens dress clothes to get someone to assist me.
Miss Candy and Rose in the lingerie department are very customer friendly, nice and patient. Id definitely recommend anyone by the lingerie department. I was unsure of my bra size but with there help I was able to find my correct size. Keep up the good work guys....

Went shopping with family. Was in shoe department around six. Was interested in a particular boots couldn’t get anyone to come over to help us. They all stood near the register area. Nobody said anything just didn’t make any effort to help us so I just didn’t get any shoes. Losing a sale must not be that important. I feel that this store profiled customers😕

Bad experience. Could not make a debit payment. The sales clerk said she would hold my bag if I went out to the wells fargo for cash less than a block away.Came back bags sold and clerk said I was gone too long could not hold bag. I was very disturbed and felt I could no longer trust the sales clerks there. She had an oh well attitude. Then I notice a lady that was there when I left with many bags of purchase going out the door, she laughed and waved at me. My sister told me later that she knew this lady and was helping her get bags for her daughter and friends and told her to remember me.There was a limit to buy on this sale, know for certain she had over but didnt care I just wanted my bags. So not only was this a purchase gone wrong I really feel she sold her friend my choices. Charity.You get what you put out, your bad service and dishonesty will come back to you.
Why rate anything in this town? Its not going anywhere. Youre GONNA come here eventually. Conclusion? I walk through this store twice every time I go to the mall. The first time because you have to walk through it to get to anything on the other side. And then the second time because I forgot theres nothing interesting on the other side.Ive ogled some cute houseware and then realized anything I want Id order online or Id look in At Home for inspiration. Nothing amazing here folks.

Columbus has really changed since all of the crazy mess has been going on . A lot of unnecessary crime which lures people away from everything Columbus has to offer. It’s sad but overall a 3 just because they still are working hard during these rough times
Upscale department store. It is clean and well organized. The staff is helpful as well. The prices are just way too high for what Im willing to pay. However, they do have some great sales now and then.
Im regular Dillards shopper and card holder. Most of the time my my shopping experiences are very pleasant and the Sales associates are very helpful. Today my shopping experience was not so good. First stop was the Lancome beauty counter in search of a particular eyeliner. The sales associate was very helpful and went got me exactly what I needed. She even told me about other beauty promotions going on. Next stop was Mac counter in search of a particular eyebrow pencil I had purchased there before. I do not know the Sales associate name I approached for help. She had very colorful braids. I didnt bother to learn her name after she not being helpful or Welcoming at all. I had the empty brow filler and ask her if they had it. Before I could get my sentence out, She shook her head and said not they only had the small one. She offer to help or suggest a sale of something else I may could use. So I asked her if they had anything similar and she just repeated what she said already that they only had the skinny one. I just walked away and went to Look at Anastasia products. Another Sales associate approached me with a much helpful attitude and asked to help me. I told her I was looking for a wide eyebrow pencil something similar to the empty one I show her. She helped me find something similar to what I wanted and the right color. She even suggested and showed me a primer I could use before applying the pencil. The young lady at the Mac counter who wasnt interested in helping a customer need to learn better customer service skills especially when the customers are the reason she had a job. I like to spend my money where I feel Welcome.
If I could give zero stars I would! I’m an avid Dillard’s shopper however this is hands down the worse location I’ve been to. I’m done spending my money at this location. They’re usually rude but today was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. First off this Dillard’s isn’t a very busy store but today I could literally count on one hand how many customers were in the entire store so “they’re probably just busy” isn’t a benefit of the doubt excuse I could give them. I walked into the store and two women were standing right at the door as greeters. They both looked at my mom and I and then looked away and said nothing. I even stopped and browse to see if I was just imagining things but still the two women along with 2 other employees I came across just stood there & didn’t ask if we needed help or greeted us. Got to The Kheil’s counter (no one was there). Stood there for 7 mins waiting for someone to help me and the employees around just stared at me. I eventually asked one of them if someone was working the counter and she literally said “oh no one is scheduled today”. Ummmmmm so you watched me stand there for 7 mins and couldn’t tell me this the entire time you were staring at me? Anyways I asked her to please cash me out for the product I was purchasing. Don’t know why but she had an attitude the entire time. I told her I had an appointment at 2pm at the counter and didn’t know what to do since no one was scheduled. Anyways I ended up purchasing my product and leaving. I stopped right before exiting the doors to take a picture of the “Merica” hats and memorabilia and that’s literally when the greeter THAT STOOD RIGHT THERE WHEN WE WALKED IN SAID “you need something?”. I just said “nope not anymore” and left. Like I said HORRIBLE customer service and I’ll drive to Atlanta before I shop at the Columbus Peachtree Mall location again!
Visited 04/27/19. Dillards is a great place to shop for all occasions, and with reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and approachable, always willing to help with enthusiasm, although sometimes the store is not adequately staffed.
First, Im a big guy, Dillards is the only place I can find a Ralph Lauren button down collared shirt that fits me proper. Thanks for having what I was looking for. I parked right outside the door without using handicap parking, I have a bad knee so parking close is a big deal for me. Youll like the parking. Your my new clothing store for big and tall men!

Wonderful upscale shopping nearby 185 easy access while I only went shopping for clothes I did notice that they had a wide variety of goods a very wide variety of high-quality Goods I did appreciate the fact that I was left alone to do my shopping I do not like going into a store and being sold I know what I like when I see it and I dont need anyones assistance to know what I like and so I really enjoyed the fact that the associates would say hello and go on about their business and leave me to find what it was that I wanted I thought that was a very very nice thing to do
I was in there yesterday and had a difficult time tracking down the employees. We let ourselves into the dressing room, when the employees came around they were discussing getting drunk. Thats classy. I am not impressed with this place.

I wish I could reply in 2 parts. Ill start by rating the perfume counters. Michael by far is THE best salesperson! He learns his customers, their fragrance style, and always keeps us abreast of whats to come in new fragrances, or what has just arrived! We have been purchasing from him at this location for a few years now. And literally look for him when we walk through! He is that good! However, the mens shoes, suits/ties/shirts areas, exc lk using the urban hip hop gear (which always has friendly salespersons) gets 5 thumbs down! The employees will see you looking for items and do not volunteer to help, and when they ate asked to help, they are either in a hurry, or act as though they are not enthused. When we come to Dillards, we come to spend money! Sadly for them, if the are on commission, they miss out with us big time! It baffles me how people opt to work jobs that involve heavy public presence, yet lack the enthusiasm, zeal, and wherewithal it takes to do so!
The experience that I had at Dillards was the best that I have had in a long time, the people that helps you are so courteous and helpful, I wish other stores had that type of courtesy, the last time that type of courtesy was when the stores was down town on Broad Street back in the 1960s doing Kiralfy, Kirvens, Matthews, Davidson, and Kiser Lillian Thaul days. The selection is so great. It is so much to choose from I will be shopping there more often, Thank you Dillard.
Dillard was great for me. I love shopping there and I also enjoy checking out the handbags & beautiful dresses. The perfume section is smelling pretty nice.
Apollonia was a ton of help finding the right pair of Jeans. Having large thighs and no butt makes it a pain to shop, but she was with us start to finish to make sure I found what I needed in something that fit.
Didnt help in the Clinique section this particular evening, especially when i was trying to get the gift. Just sent me off without buying anything. So I went to the Post Exchange in Ft. Benning and Ulta and gotten a better gift bag.

Ordinarily I prefer to give a business a chance before blasting in a review; however, I believe you need to know Dillards employees (3 of them) not only failed to offer service but ignored us entirely until one decided that my daughter was shoplifting and chatted loudly enough for her to hear them targeting her. I am incensed with this irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. She was in the Chelsea/ Free People area of the store and I had moved on to the other side. One of employees was either out of her area or following because she said hello at the register near the Nygard slacks, still not offering assistance. Are you hiring security guards instead of sales staff, Dillards? Either way, you need to look at your HR practices. Perhaps you should go back to the old general store concept where customers had to ask a representative to show them merchandise if you are that worried about shoplifting. We did find a kind and helpful sales rep near Bryn Walker but the insult had settled in by that time and we left in disgust.

Like shopping at Dillards however during our last visit the store was really warm. Upon asking about the temperature in the store, we were told that the thermostat was controlled in Arkansas! The temperature in Georgia is always warmer than Arkansas. This is just odd and makes for an uncomfortable experience.

I have stopped going in dillards over a year ago due to their racist african american security guards. My last last in late 2016. We was minding our own business like we have done all our life when we went to Dillards shopping. We went upstart and bought something then this african american security guard was waiting looking at us like we have shop lifted. I didnt appreciate this at all, then we proceeded to go eat something in the food court. And this other african american security guard was also starring at us and following us to the food court. We was being harassed by these two security guards for no reason. We have no reason to steal anything, and to be suspected of it really made me steamed. Its a pure insult to be treated this way. It has happen on other occasions to, the one african employee sent her boyfriend to follow me around the story, now we did complain about her to the manager. Dillards is so paranoid that they think that every customer is going to shop lift. Well you have to browse and shop around before you buy something. Which it doesnt mean that someone is going to steal. I shop online at amazon now. It does put anger in you when youre being profiled as a shop lifter when you have never stolen anything in your life.

Love the sweet lady that runs the Estée Lauder counter.. I was there for a family members graduation from Ft.Benning. We stayed for the weekend and the Estée Lauder lady gave me a beautiful make over. The very first Dillards to ever offer to do my make-up.. I felt so beautiful and I am absolutely hooked on Estée Lauder ,that was 4 years ago... Thank you so much for teaching me and taking the time to make me feel good as well about myself.. I am 43 & soon to be 44.. I am always being told that I look like I am 24-26 since I started wearing Estée Lauder. I have been to several Dillards stores before that and after that. I spend alot of money at Dillards and online as well..I have never been treated as well as that in any of them, sadly! So a BIG THANK YOU TO THIS LADY.. I WISHED I REMEMBERED YOUR NAME I believe she has been there for several years ,she used to sell Clinique there and then moved to the Estée Lauder Counter..

2022-03-05Went into Dillards today just to get a blanket, however I received so much more with the help of Robin in the home department. Both of us put together a beautiful bed ensemble. I will come back again so me and Robin can put a bed ensemble together for my queen bed. Thank you so much Robin🥰

2022-04-24Eperienced very good service. Lots of inventory to choose from. Found this dress (looks even better on) for a special occasion. Mother of the groom rehearsal dinner. Notice the sequins on the sleeve, in the lace. They also have nice choices on line.

2022-06-21Had fantastic help in the make-up area with the Elizabeth Arden counter. Also, ladies higher end clothing was wonderful. A lady named Karen was so sweet and gentle while dealing with my elderly great aunt. Karen would even allow my aunt to sit while she gathered items for Mary to choose from. She was fantastic help for an 89 year old senior citizen with severe mobility issues. Both ladies were conscientious, caring, very well mannered, and knew exactly how to deal with a classy woman past her prime.

2022-06-24I love Dillards. This store is everything youd expect from this quality chain. However, at the makeup counter there were 3 young ladies and all of them were on their phones. They were totally oblivious to customers and asking for service seemed to disturb them. Sign of the times I guess because this lady still remembers the days when walking past a department store make up counter got you SWARMED by eager sales ladies and flying particles of every perfume .

2022-03-27Lady in the mens section went above & beyond to help get a suit. Has been there many yrs. Hard to find hard workers now days. I visited the petite section the young girl was NOT helpful or friendly. I have allergies & smelled like she took a bath in cheap perfume. Glad the men section gave us a great experience

2022-02-15Went there to find a watch battery. They sell watches but not batteries. Employees looked pretty complacent except one in jewelry actually spoke to me and greeted me.

2018-03-17We went dress shopping for a wedding dress and they had a huge selection of dresses the employees were very friendly it’s in a mall with plenty of parking and other good shops and restaurants I recommend this store
