Thanks for ruining my little brothers Christmas. He has wanted a dirt bike for four years, and my mom has been saving up to get one. The owner let her do a layaway thing to ensure that the price stays the same and that she is ensured to have the bike. But he kept raising the price, to the point where we couldnt afford it anymore. He was so rude and blamed the mechanic for his mistakes. We are buying from a different place now, but my brothers bike isnt going to get here until around February. I cannot believe how awful of a person you are. A week before Christmas, and now you are raising the price on the bike we arent put a payment on?! Shame on you. Please dont buy from them. Dont give this inconsiderate shank your money. Hope your Christmas reflects how you treat others. And for your New Years resolution, I advise writing down be a better person.
Great people! They treat you right and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place. We bought a Coolster 125 and it lasted 3 years and we traded it back in for a new one!
Agree with other reviews. Shady, unprofessional, crook! Spoke to owner about a bike that was $799 the week before Thanksgiving but priced jumped to $999 the week of Thanksgiving. Ok, I can live with that. So drove 45 minutes to meet him and put the bike on layaway for my son for Christmas. He told us hed be there. Didnt show up and we even called him. He had a mechanic ring us up. Mechanic mentioned he just that morning called and told him he decided to charge a fee for our layaway that he didnt tell us about and just that morning decided to do knowing we were coming in. An additional $50 for storage fees. Went today to pay off the bike and pick it up and he told us the price was now different than the originally agreed upon price. That he had a smaller one for that price but the one we put on layaway he raised the price yet again and refused to honor the price on the receipt and website at the time of layaway purchase. Tried to blame the mechanic for writing the wrong price down but I have pictures of the bike for that price. He refused to honor the price on the receipt or the website picture. A bike that was $799 Nov. 1st is now $1200. He told me we could get the smaller bike or pay the extra money of the new price to get the bike we originally purchased!!! I dont have words for my level of disgust!! One week before Christmas he wont honor his stores price at the time of layaway and it is all about ripping me off!!! Im a single mom that has spent a solid year saving up this $$ for my sons Christmas. Now he cant even get a dirt bike because this man is a dishonest crook!!! If I had any way to come up with the extra $$ I would have paid this awful man but it took every last penny I had to come up with the $$ at the price it was at when we put it on layaway.
It’s cool to see a privately owned shop selling these but with that said the owner is a horrible salesman and acts like every question you ask is putting him out. I was interested in one of his dirt bikes and I noticed the throttle didn’t work and asked if he could start it up for me and he wanted me to pay first.
A great place to find awesome Christmas toys for the kids! They are friendly and even showed me how to teach my boy to ride it.
Always drove by there, never stopped until a co-worker said he had some work done there on his bike and was happy with them. I went there to have tires put on my bike. They were helpful, nice and straight up. The kind of people you want to deal with, no gimmicks just honesty. I will return for any maintenance I would need for my bike or my kids bikes.
This place is Awesome! We bought our grandson, Liam’s, 4 wheeler from there and he loves it! I also bought a helmet from there, the face shield somehow broke off, and they replaced the whole helmet with no questions asked! If you want friendly customer service and good deals, GO TO DIRT CHEAP MOTORSPORTS!!! And might I add, Liam has ridden the heck out of this thing since Christmas Day and I’ve had No Problems At All!!! I will say I have lifetime warranty and keep all my receipts!
We bought a small motorcycle for our son a few years ago. It was inexpensive and very reliable. I highly recommend this business. Good, honest, hard working man trying to make a living. I would definitely highly recommend doing business with him to everyone. Perfect way to introduce your young children into Motorsports.
We brought her motorcycle here to be it was returned to us within 24 hours completely fixed for a wonderful price. Great staff in a great selection of equipment to look at. Will definitely use them.
Dirt cheap motor sports is dirty, but not cheap. We went there to buy a mini bike. The employee there was rude and unhelpful. He lacked basic knowledge of his products. They only had one mini bike (which was very low-quality) and it was $400. We could have bought it for $300, but it had fallen on its side numerous times according to the employee. Naturally, the broken side was hidden. We found better mini bikes online for $300 (undamaged). They had repaired a young boys dune buggy before we got there, and the employee expressed frustration that he was trying it out on their property. Do not go to this store, you will waste your time.
My new 4 wheeler lasted 3 weeks before breakdown. They refused to honor warranty they were so PROUD of when taking my money. Very Very Very rude customer no service. Please save yourself the trouble I have been through, you get what you pay for. Hopefully court system will help resolve. Wish me luck!
Thank you guys so much for making my 7 year old so happy. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Bought an Apollo sportrax which they dont actually carry but were happy to order for us and called as soon as it was ready. Great customer service and great mechanic work.
Bought a dirt bike from here 2 days before Christmas. Went there yesterday for service and tune up. Dirt bike was running and they could have sent me home then, but during the servicing they were still not happy with the way it was running. This guys are the best because they didnt just settle for it running ok, they wanted it perfect before I left. I have read reviews and find it hard to beleive they could be inadequate with prices and customer service. They ended up putting a brand new carburetor on it instead of doing shabby work on the factory one just to get it running and get me out the door. I will be a repeat customer. There is none better than Ricky and Kevin and staff. They do honor their warranty. I was in and out in 30 minutes with no charge to me.Teresa and Jerry Young
Bought a 4 Wheeler on November 26th 2019 and it broke down December 22nd. They refused to assist me and was very rude to me and my 7 year old in front of other customers.These are Chinese made products that claim to be warranted however they do not. You get what you pay for I would highly recommend staying away from this company and their terrible leadership.
They have decent stuff if you like riding basic scooters and all. I do my own repairs so I never needed help from them. Went looking for some gear. Have plenty of helmets but might not be your size. Dirt bikes, 50cc gear, and I think 4 wheelers too are there.
Worst customer service on the planet. Wife bought me a helmet got home it was the wrong one not the one she picked out. The owner grabbed the wrong box. They would not swap it out for the right helmet. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. AVOID THIS PLACE THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH.
Overall very happy with the experience, I knew there was a couple minor issues with my atv (battery) but there was a wire over the shifter that had broke and the quad wouldn’t shift out of neutral, at the time it was running great, so I didn’t have time and kinda forgot, and had some stuff happened in my life, so it sat in a garage for over a year and a half, I replaced the ignition switch and some other minor things and nothing, so I finally caved in a was gonna take it to a shop, well I live in Blue Ridge GA and there isn’t a shop near me that will work on the “Chinese” atvs Dirt Cheap Motorsports was the nearest place, so I got my brother to drive down there and drop it off on a Friday near closing (around 4) told them to look it over and give me a call before fixing it. I was contacted the following Friday saying that the cost would be 180 and I gave them the okay. The next day I got a call saying it was done I asked the guy on the phone what was wrong with it and told him about the wire, he didn’t seem to knowledgeable about the quad because he acted like I was crazy and asked another guy him giving him the ok, I finding out later that a new carb battery wire throttle Cable and fresh gas was put in the quad. I was a little disappointed in the “storage” part because I’m over 1 1/2 hour away and I was told I could come and get it at 130 and they close at 2 and they aren’t open on Sunday and Monday but u have 3 days then they charge u ten dollars a day everyday afters and they counted Sunday and Monday (closed) as two days of my time it didn’t really effect me because I was able to get the quad the Tuesday after it was fixed but if I was to say have to wait a couple days I would be charged and really only getting one day of storage instead of three. But it does stop people from leaving There quad there over along period of time. Don’t know y someone would OVERALL VERY HAPPY WITH SERVICE FAIRLY QUICK RESPONSE AND VERY FAST INSTALLATION AND FIXING THE QUADS THEMSELVES!!!!
Bought a solenoid for a buggy, paid 3x as much as what the product is worth. I go home and hold it up to the old one and they are not alike. I didnt hook it up or mess with it at all. I went back the next day to exchange the solenoid for the correct one and he tried to charge me for another one. I asked if I could just exchange it for the correct one, and explained that I never hooked it up or attempted to use it because I could see it was the wrong one, and he said no, and pointed to a sign that said no refunds. He has also sold 2 4 wheelers to a close family friend, they both broke within a month, when they went back for the repair they denied it was their fault and refused to repair the problems. Bad business, extremely high prices, terrible customer support.
I have read other reviews and dont understand. I thought the service was great from this company. The gentleman we dealt with answered all of our questions honestly, got us the item and we were on our way in about 30 minutes start to finish. The item we purchased was a go kart, made in China, which a lot of people keep saying they have issues with, but ours has been great, starts everytime and runs like a champ. Thanks again for the great deal.
Wish I could give less than 1 star. Lead us to believe that he had coolsters, encouraged us to make an hour drive for items he didn’t even had. Then lied and told us he didn’t know what they were. 1st of all of he doesn’t know what kind of equipment he had, he shouldn’t be an atv dealer. He knew exactly what he had. He is shady and has no moral standard. Straight trash.
Only place I could find in North Atlanta to work on a 19 YO ATV. Even the authorized dealer in Roswell wouldnt touch it because it was over 10 YO. And all it needed was a basic tuneup and carb work after sitting for a while. Plus, the shop saved all the old parts (without me asking) and half the bill was parts at prices I verified online. Very happy.
Dont buy from Dirt Cheap Motorsports in Cumming. Bought my 4 wheeler 3 weeks ago and it caught on fire with my 12 yr old son riding it. Happened right in front of me and they will not honor their 6 month warranty. I told the guy I will see him in court and he told me to get in line
Refuses to repair broken parts during 30 day warranty. Everything he sells is made in China and is very low quality. After purchasing an $800 childs ATV and having issues after 2 days, we were told that we needed to adjust and tighten every nut and bolt before every ride. Within 3 WEEKS we experienced the BRAKES NOT WORKING and then LOCKING UP, the chain constantly popping off, and the WHEEL FALLING OFF WHILE MY KID WAS RIDING IT. Horrible experience, BUYERS BEWARE!
Bought 3 Coolster 125 ATVs from Dirt Cheap. I knew before I bought them they were not the same quality as the Japanese ATVs, but a 1/4 of the price I wanted to give it a chance. However, they break very often and they will overcharge you on service. If you buy one you need to be handy with tools. Basically, use it one Christmas and throw it away!!

Mechanic has no idea how to properly fix anything. Owner is a liar. Spent 300 dollars to have axle seals replaced. Only to find out I was charged for parts that I never received and the mechanic never fixed the issue. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere.
The owner is nothing but a crook and a thief. He will give you a quote on repairs that is reasonable up front but when you show up after the repairs he has jacked the price up and does not communicate with the owner what the actual cost is. This is the last time i will use them for any repair work!I would rate him zero stars if that was possible...
I bought a 125 four wheeler here and it broke immediately,when I went to return it I was told no refunds, it was overpriced and quite literally a pos! I can’t even get half the value I paid from reselling it, I should have read the reviews before stopping in. Don’t buy wheelers here they are trash!!
Ask 11k for a 125cc pit bike while their name is dirtcheap motorsports.i can go to any other shop and get a pit bike for 1k
Wow!!! I would not spend one penny in this business. There is nothing dirt cheap about anything in this store. They want you to pay that much money and their customer service stinks. Work on how you interact with your customers and if you want them to buy in the future DO NOT insult them...

Dirt cheap motorsports is the place in Georgia to go if you want a good price he stands by his name he is the only one to a have a db36 enduro in Georgia so i would recommend dirt cheap motorsports
I have been getting parts here for awhile and every customer I see the owner interact with has fun and goes away happy. Plus his knowledge is unmatched. I dont know what some of these other people are talking about. Just go see for yourself. I wont go anywhere else.
Do not go here for repairs. Charges you a fee for working on fixing some items even though he knows he can’t get it up and running. Should have just charged a diagnostic fee and stopped working without a green light to proceed.

2022-05-12I exchanged texts with the owner in regards to test driving a golf cart. When I got to the place, it was a dirty old converted gas station and there were only two golf carts for sale on display and owner was rude and had an attitude like he could care less. There was no place to test drive the 2 golf carts he had except in the back of his place that was about 20 feet, lol. When I asked him about the price of the golf cart, he mumbled something about inflation and said, you can take it or leave itI left it. This place isnt even a store. Its just a dirty old gas station with a one man operation that must buy a few golf carts, dirt bikes, and assembles them at this old gas station and offers them for sale. If your looking for a cheaply made golf cart and a rude dirty Greasemonkey salesman, this is just your place. Im sorry I wasted my time.

2022-02-27I mistakenly purchased a scooter from Ricky in June;1) the ad showed a price of $1199. I did a screenshot so I would have the info when I was able to call the next day. Pulled up the website to make the call. The price was now $1399. I called and spoke with Ricky. I asked if he would honor the $1199 price. He said he would have to speak with the owner. What a joke, he is the owner. He called back to say the owner would not honor the $1199. I needed transportation. I went against my better judgement and purchased from him.2) He brought the scooter out. I had told him I needed a trunk. He said that would be an additional charge. They installed the trunk (learned later they had cross threaded one of the screws)3) After leaving I needed fuel. Realized the seat was not installed properly, had to pry off the gas cap and saw he had not removed the plastic from the muffler. I had to scrape off the plastic that melted to the muffler.Update - November - riding down the road. The scooter stalled, will not start, no compression. Supposed to have a 2 year warranty.Called Ricky, he said to bring it in and he would check to see if it could be repaired under warranty. CHECK TO SEE? I live 60 miles away. I am not going to pay $150 to transport to him so he could say he checked it and then tell me it cannot be covered under warranty so he could make more money off me. I have learned my lesson. Took it to a reputable mechanic near me.Update- Buyer BewareDont be fooled by the 2 year warranty, it is just a worthless piece of paper that will not be honored. The engine blew on my scooter after 2000 miles. I incurred the expense of having my scooter towed to Dirt Cheap Motorsports. Ricky told the transporter he did not want it there. He refused to even look at it until I hired an Uber and presented him with my license. I had to pay another transport fee to have the unseen scooter picked up. I contacted the Consumer Protection Unit of GA Law. They sent a letter to Dirt Cheap Motorsports. No response. I am told I have a valid case. I have the option of taking Ricky to small claims court or hiring a consumer attorney.

2022-02-08I bought a new bike from them a year ago it runs great!!! I wrecked it and broke some plastic and could not find replacement for it any where so I called dirt cheap and got me what I needed I live 2hours from Cummings so they had it shiped to me they are friendly and will go above and beyond to help there customers....thanks dirt cheap motorsports!

2021-11-07Good honest folks. They have limited staff so it takes a little longer to fix things but they have great communication the whole time. They are one of the few places in GA that repairs mini bikes. You can trust them with your childrens toys. Alot of ATVs and mopeds in stock. Cool shop with great accessories. I will definitely be back and i will definitely recommend this business. Very professional. Thanks guys!

2021-10-26DO NOT IGNORE THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS , U WILL B SCAMMED & TAKEN ADVANTAGE OFStay away from this place , the owner is completely scamming & sabotaging our children’s riding toys , once u take something to get fixed it will never be the same again , he tightened the valves on my sons dirtbike when all I asked him to do was put a carb on it & a tube in the tire , he tightened the valves so tight the bike ran for 5 minutes then snapped the valve keepers , also took him 3 weeks to do so , I should’ve known better after purchasing the dirtbike it started falling apart within one day of paying him extra to put it together , I took it back & he tried charging me $10 for 2 screws that were lost , the muffler fell off a month after having it & the plastic did as well , being he deals with mostly children size ATV’s & uses the love we have for our children as a way to support himself us saddening , the name of the company speaks for itselfMy neighbor dropped two 4wheelers off only to have them looked at , he them supposedly fixed them without permission & tried charging more then they cost brand new so he lost both his kids 4wheelers

You have to go to your bank just to dispute charges because this business owner refuses give back your money. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

2021-06-01Honestly, if I could not leave a star I would not.We purchased 2 ATVs last weekend. Now I know that these are not name brand, but we did spend right at 3,000 for these. First the guy that runs the place is super disrespectful. Very Unprofessional. As soon as we got these both home, one was smoking as soon as we started it and did not stop. We reached out to the owner, he told us to bring it back that he would look at it. When we brought it back, he went over it, said that he thought that it needed new piston rings. Mind you, its brand new. Then he tell us that the 30 day warranty covers the parts but not the labor, that was gonna be another 200 dollars. That it would be ready in a couple of weeks, when they got back. So we bought 2 brand new ATVs, one is broken and we have to pay for them to fix it!! Im warning you.... DO NOT DO BUISNESS HERE!!! You will REGRET it!!
