Zero stars aren’t possible so here we are..rented for 2 years and he was fine until I turned him down for a date. Keep in mind he is about 50 years older than me and married. After I turned him down he was trying to evict me everytime I turned around. When I finally moved he threatened to garnish my wages and sue me for damages but luckily I have all my records and receipts and pictures of everything and how I left the place clean! Beware, he is out for every extra penny he can make and then some..he is the biggest crook in Valdosta! Not to mention you have to buy or fix your own appliances. I’ll just let karma sort this one out. Just wanted others to beware before renting from him!

I have rented from Don for a little over a year. Not many landlords will rent to you without doing a credit check but he does. He took a chance on me & I appreciated that by being a good tenant. Yes, you do have to fill out a maintenance request when things go wrong but they fix things promptly. I always tell people who are looking to rent to go to his website or stop in.

Very good service at Don Brotherton Properties, I have lived in his rental for over 1 1/2 years, whenever there has been a maintenance issue, he has dispatched them, even though I had to put it in writing. A/C problem once, he has someone out the same day. Ive read the other reviews, I just have not had the same problem getting someone out! Great service and great people!

I rent from Don Brotherton Properties and have lived in his rental for over 3 years. Yes, I have to put in a maintenance request however if it is an emergency it is resolved the same day if not an emergency it is resolved the next business day. They do what they can to make my place a nice home to live in! The whole staff is amazing with a very wonderful customer service attitude!

If I could give them zero stars I would. We moved into an apt on 1197 Melody Lane and the refrigerator stopped working within 4 days. They told me we had to buy our own refrigerator or pay to get if fixed. They are horrible property managers also the doors to the apartments dont close well you can wiggle the handle and on any door in the complex. The only good thing I could say about the apartments was that the carpet was new.

Anyone who has ever done business with them should hire a lawyer. These guys are complete crooks. They tried to sell me a house sitting over a sewer line that they conveniently forgot to leave out of the appraisal, which is illegal by the way but theyre so shortsighted its not surprising. If Id first know I would have never stepped foot on the property or called this failing company. Now when I call the Low IQ property manager on their main company line he acts like the service is bad and he cant hear me or whatever poor excuse he can slowly think of on the spot. Its sad that these people are so dissatisfied with their crooked boss, dead-end jobs, loser kids and over-weight wives to behave like this at work but they probably had it coming. Don is a crook and his employees are idiots. This business is dying and for good reason. If youre still thinking of doing business with them just remember that this company will probably go bankrupt shortly.

If there was a zero rating I would give it. Very unprofessional when I spoke to someone about having any rental property available and their response was I hope I never do is that how you speak to a prospective tentant. I heard negative things about them and now I see why, Im glad I didnt rent from them and never will!!!

I tried to wholesale a property to Don and he went around me to the seller and bought it directly. Not very honest person in my opinion. When I called him out on it, he said you just had a contract. Exactly and you should have honored it. But you did not. Bad karma.

Don brotherton is a slum lord!!!!!!!!!!!! he will talk to your lady like garbage if you send her up there. mine went and took my mom with her and he did nothing but bad mouth me anytime anything tore up it was either fix it yourself or move out.

Not all that great when dealing with certain situations, theres never a maintenance person on duty and you have to go yo the office to fill out a report if anything needs to be fixed. And wait until a Wednesday or Thursday to have someone to come check and fix things!
