Went to get my first skateboard yesterday, and after seeing the glowing reviews I decided to give this shop a try and it was well worth it. Mr. Jamie was great! He let me try a couple different sized boards and helped me with other options for wheels because the ones I wanted weren’t in stock. There were lots of options for deck designs, grip tape, wheels and other accessories. He also put the board together for me in store. My sister had some bearings at home so I he couldn’t build the board all the way out but he went as far as he could and then showed me how to get the wheels on when I get the bearings which was really nice. There’s also a sign outside that says you can rent things like helmets and pads which is great because the skatepark is right next to the shop, so if you ever forget some gear, that’s really helpful. We had good conversations during the process as well. Im not usually in the area because of the distance from where I live but the drive was worth it and If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely come back!Location: go down the street and turn left into the actual skatepark! Don’t make that first right turn that your gps will tell you to make (you’ll just end up going in circles).
Helped me put together my first board. Fast and professional. Good prices. Very patient and kind. They have literally everything you need to get started. Wonderful little skate shop thats conveniently placed right next to a skate park. Worth the 30 minute drive compared to Vans and Zumiez. Support your local skate shop!
Great park and shop. I added an entire tour to Google Street View Today. Owner of the shop was really nice helping me out when I scraped myself up. Skateboarding was so important to me as a kid and I am so excited this place exists for my son. Put together a quick Drone Video of the place for you guys to check out. - Skate or Die! -
Jamie the owner is FANTASTIC! My husband and I love that he is honest and helpful! He is kind and will help our child not just with safety gear and great skate products but also spend time with him and teach him! He is wonderful! I am so grateful to have this park and people like Jamie in our community!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
Skated Duncan Creek several times but never went to the shop. I showed up and didn’t see anybody but I called and Jamie came right over to help me out. Just needed some wheels/bearings and he set me up super quick and gave some great suggestions. Will def be spending more money here!
Big thanks to Jamey for building my daughters first skateboard. He took time to figure out what would be best the best fit, very helpful. Super cool shop and atmosphere, go check them out.

Youll get the setup thats right for you when you have an experienced rider (skateboards, scooter, BMX) helping you.Jamie was so helpful in sharing his expertise on building ramps and skateparks. We were so happy with Jamies expertise in building a garage ramp that wed work with him again and again.

Extremely knowledgeable owners/staff.After perusing all of the other reviews, its very obvious that Im not the only one that realized this shops potential.I did notice there was one (and only one) negative review posted by SSSinper Honda. This single, one-star review really infuriates me. If you’re going to post a negative review, explain yourself! If you don’t state a reason for a negative review, how will the owners know what area of their business needs improvement. By NOT offering an explanation tells me you’re simply being a BRAT!

2021-11-18The support for the skate community here is incredible and its definitely one of the pluses of living in Gwinnett county. This shop is a little bit of a haul for me, but its absolutely worth it to make sure that all of our gear is working properly. Definitely go here instead of ordering online.

2021-03-01I came here to get a board that was better then my current one, and when I got there, Jamie was really nice and listened to what type of board I was looking for and let me try different sizes. He found wheels that would would well for it. He built my board for me and gave a few free stickers! It went really fast and If your in the area, go here!

2020-03-10I bought my first board on Sunday night at Duncan Creek and it was awesome. Jaime was super helpful and gave me a great deal on my first board. And the fact that it was right outside of a skate park is super cool!!!Small tip, if you GPS takes you to the entrance of the park and says you have arrived, you haven’t. You have to go into the park to find the shop.Thanks so much Jaime and I look forward to going to your shop again for my next board!

Good quality materials and the knowledge and friendly service that we needed and search for. Thank you Jamie. We will most definitely be back. They rent skates and helmets too and are INSIDE the Duncan Creek skate park. Cant beat that!!

2020-12-27I found this place on google after going to a few places in the mall looking for a skateboard for my daughter and leaving each store feeling unsure.The gentleman that answered the phone at Duncan creek Skate shop was friendly and assured me he would be able to get our needs met. When we showed up we had absolutely no clue as to what we needed. All we knew was that she wanted a skateboard. Sure enough, he was friendly, professional, helpful and quite knowledgeable. He showed her how to mount her board and how to get started.He even threw in some stickers for my little one. We left excited with a pretty awesome looking skateboard and a happy daughter.I look forward to coming back in the future if my little one decides he wants one too.
