As a massage therapist for the past 27 years, I have shoulder and elbow pain. Hank worked with me for several weeks, and I am now pain free and have tools to handle any discomfort that may occur. The family of folks at Dynamics Physical Therapy are terrific! I highly recommend Hank and Ken!
I first worked with Hank Wright a few years ago following surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. He was very thorough and supportive during the 3-month recovery process. So when I strained the other ankle last spring, I knew Hank was who I needed to see. His careful evaluation and well-thought-out exercises were again successful. With his years of experience, Hank has developed a wide range of techniques; if one approach does not work, he always has other possibilities. His professionalism is surpassed only by his caring personality!

Dynamics Therapy is awesome. Having both knees replaced in just over 4 months, they provided me with the care and motivation to get back up and into life. Dr. Manfredi did a fantastic job replacing the joints and Dynamics got me up and moving. Walking, sleeping and life is so much better now. They even threw in some tips and exercises for the arthritis in my spine and shoulders. You guys rock! Thank you Hank, John, Matt, Ken and Pam. The entire team at Dynamics Physical Therapy are phenomenal. I highly recommend them for any PT need. As a competitive runner, the staff supported my desire to decrease my lower back pain while managing my need to remain competitive in multiple racing series in Georgia. Ive been visiting Dynamics Physical Therapy for multiple years and have worked Ken, Hank and John. The team is top-notch! As I relocate out of state, I can only hope to find a similar company half as good.
Dynamics Physical Therapy (previously know as Spine Dynamics) is the most effective physical Therapy group in Athens and beyond. Ken Copes and Hank Wright, along with their assistant, John provide scientifically-based therapies tailored to your specific injuries. They take the time to test your motion in all related joints and limbs and ask for your feedback in terms of pain-level and motion range. They ask about your daily physical activities and how your injuries may be affecting these activities. Ken has treated me for lower back pain and I have now been pain-free for several years after suffering for more than 45 years. I even managed to trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro 5 years ago! I continue at home with my daily exercise routine that Ken and Hank developed specifically for me. Hank has recently been treating me for shoulder pain brought on by over excessive weight training and tennis playing. I am now back on the tennis courts and playing better than ever at the age of 74! Again, Hanks specifically tailored exercises have strengthened my shoulder and reduced the pain to almost zero. I continue with the exercises at home 2 or 3 times a week but no longer need to see Hank (I graduated!). As well as being effective therapists they are great people and I count them as my friends. The front office staff are also very friendly and helpful (especially Pam).
Dynamics Physical Therapy is the absolute best! I was struggling with pain in my SI joint and went to Dynamics for help. Hank and the rest of team evaluated me and provided a series of exercises that provided relief quickly and the pain has not returned. The staff draws on each others strengths and expertise to create the perfect plan for the care and rehabilitation of their clients. I received relief from the pain in my SI joint and am continuing to be completely pain free more than a month after my last treatment. They were sensitive to a personal goal I had for a walking contest. With their help, I was able to complete that goal. If I need physical therapy again I will not hesitate to call Dynamics Physical Therapy.
I experienced a trimalleolar ankle fracture with dislocation in late May 2020 with ORIF surgery scheduled the following week. After the required 6-8 weeks total non-weight bearing, I was allowed to begin physical therapy. I completed 2 sessions at another clinic in town, but I was dissatisfied with the level of attention I felt I was receiving.I have known Hank Wright (on a personal basis) for more than 25 years and decided that I needed to seek out his expertise to help me achieve my physical therapy goals. From the first phone contact with the receptionist, Pam, I knew I was making the right choice to move to Dynamics Physical Therapy. Pam was extremely kind and helpful in getting the necessary approval from my insurance company and getting me scheduled and in the door as soon as possible.By my second visit, Hank had given me the the tools (and confidence) to begin bearing weight and learning how to walk again! He did an excellent job of not only teaching me the exercises to perform, but explaining the mechanics behind them and why they are important. I appreciated that my hour long appointment was one-on-one with my therapist, and not an assembly line type setting that I had previously experienced...one where I was one of several patients being managed at one time.I know you wouldnt be reading this review if you havent experienced an injury of some sort that is causing you immobility and/or pain. Be assured that you will be well treated and respected at Dynamics Physical Therapy. I pray I never have another debilitating injury like this one again, but I have no doubt if I have any physical therapy needs in the future, I wouldnt think twice about returning here for my rehabilitation!
The team at Dynamics Physical Therapy got me walking, driving, shopping, working, and enjoying life again! If you want to work with a caring and competent physical therapy team that gets awesome results call DPT to schedule an appointment. Approximately six months ago while playing tennis on vacation, I injured my right knee while simply running to get a backhand shot. I felt a pop in my right knee and the result was an ACL bone avulsion fracture, fracture to my tibia, and a bone bruise to my fibula. While the injuries did not require surgery it took a significant amount of time and immobilization for the fractures to heal properly. Because of the length of time my leg spent in a straight locked brace (10 weeks) and the type injury, I was struggling to achieve full range of motion and full knee and leg extension with my previous physical therapist. Because I was not progressing as my previous physical therapist thought I should, they started treating me as though I was the problem even though I was doing everything they asked of me. I was stuck and did not know what to do. My husband had shoulder surgery several years back and had success working with Hank Wright. He recommended that I call Hank so that is exactly what I did. I spoke with Pam and she got me set up with an appointment with Hank. I met with Hank and he carefully evaluated the situation and recommended a plan to help me appropriately progress. He sent me home with an expensive piece of mechanical equipment with the purpose of working my leg in a way to help my knee to bend and extend as it should. All I can say is wow! It was very effective! In two weeks I had achieved full range of motion and within a couple of more weeks I no longer needed crutches to get around. Within six weeks of working with Hank and John, I was back to work. Without their help I am convinced I would not have successfully progressed. They designed a customized PT program for my situation and the goals I wanted to achieve. I am so thankful for each team member at DPT. They are kind, caring, compassionate, and competent people and I am so grateful and honored to have connected with them.
Dynamics Physical Therapy is awesome. I was having a chronic neck pain with a headache at the base of my skull and was on gabapentin and dexamethasone to get relief and allow me to work out. My doctor and I decided to pursue physical therapy through Ken and his team and Im really glad we did. When I first started, the interstitial muscles of my back were really tight and I had limited range of movement. That was obviously the root cause of my issues because within a few sessions, my neck and headache pain were gone. Ive worked with Ken and Matt to develop a set of customized exercises to relax my back muscles and restore normal range of movement of my spine. Im back to walking, running and working out pain and medication free! Given my successful treatment, my wife is now going to Dynamics (working with Hank) to resolve a persistent ankle problem. Weve been impressed with all of the staff, who are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Many Thanks to Ken and the rest of the Dynamics team!
Perfect place to go for Physical Therapy. Everyone there quickly becomes a friend. Excellent at explaining the physical problems that you are having and teaching you what you can do to improve your life. It is up to you to do the work and put forward the effort but the PTs and staff are with you ever step of the way. My goal was to get back out on the golf course after total shoulder replacement therapy. It took five months and the recovery was slower than I imagined it would be. My recovery was faster and better than they said it might be. Shot 41 on the front nine and will not mention the back nine other that to say it was not because of my shoulder. If you think you might need physical therapy, please go to them for an evaluation. You will not be disappointed.
I first used Hank services when my son broke his collar bone playing soccer, and years later, when he got an ACL injury playing football. This time, it was me the one needing his expertise. I started having problems with Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), but thank God, Hank was able to take care of it, after a few times of special maneuvering of my head. Ken, John and Hank also worked on my on and off lower back pain, teaching me simple techniques that I do at home. Those exercises have kept me away from the back pain I used to have. The staff at Dynamics Physical Therapy made me feel comfortable, and explained my treatment in a way that it was easy for me to understand. I highly recommend them.

Hank was highly recommended to me by several friends, so I took their advice and started an 11-week therapy journey with him and the entire caring staff. I ended up so much better than before I started. Hank gave me simple home exercises to keep things going in the right direction. Aside from the first couple of weeks when I was in severe pain, I actually looked forward to my sessions! The facility is nice and peaceful and not overcrowded with activity and chaos--very pleasant indeed. Hank and his assistant John were friendly, caring and totally supportive. Nice soft music and laughter made for wonderful sessions. Now Im recomending Dynamics Physical Therapy to all my friends!After two years, I returned to Dynamics PT following my second knee replacement. I was greeted with the same wonderful staff—now with an additional member—and the same professional, caring, personalized treatment. Covid gave us all a bump in the road, but we got through it in creative ways thanks to the internet! I will always return to Dynamics PT if need be and will always refer them to my friends. The Dynamics Physical Therapy team members utilize a vast store of knowledge and skills in a very professional yet friendly and supportive way to achieve the best results possible for their patients. I have benefited greatly from their care.An octogenarian, I have experienced periods of acute as well as chronic orthopedic pain for many years and have been treated by a number of therapists. Over a decade ago I first received treatment from Hank Wright (for ankle, then shoulder problems) and separately from Ken Copes for back problems. Now these two therapists are affiliated as Dynamics Physical Therapy and, in my opinion, offer the best care possible in this geographic region.
I had the unfortunate experience of being injured twice and having Dynamics Physical Therapy rescue me both times. My first injury resulted from officiating at a track meet. I got hit by a hammer just above the knee and the healing was slow and painful. But Dynamics Physical Therapy slowly and patiently restored strength in my knee. But some six months later I injured my shoulder and once Dynamics Physical Therapy came to my rescue. I cannot thank them enough for their patience and encouragement in restoring me back to normal. I highly recommend them.
I visited Dynamics Physical Therapy hoping for relief from sciatica and because my scoliosis is getting worse. My internist had suggested a stretch to relieve the sciatica, but it did not help. Ken Copes diagnosed very tight back muscles as causing the sciatica, gave me a set of exercises to relax the muscles, and also an exercise to build muscles to stabilize the scoliosis. The flexibility of my back has greatly improved since I have been treated by him. He has been wonderful, and the frequency of the sciatica has significantly decreased. Some of the exercises seen a bit weird, but they work. I highly recommend Dynamics Physical Therapy. You will definitely feel better for it.
I have been using Dynamics Physical Therapy for nearly 20 years, and have probably referred more than 100 people to them over that time. I have been treated successfully for chronic neck and back pain by Ken Copes, and I have been successfully treated through two rotator cuff repairs and two total knee replacements by Hank Wright.. They are, by far, the most expert physical therapists I have known, and through my work I have experienced many.
Best physical therapy experience that I have ever had! I worked with Dr. Hank Wright to rehab an unstable shoulder that I have injured multiple times. I put a lot of stress on my body through sport and I have been to other physical therapists here in town, but I never experienced the same compassionate and individualized care that I experienced at Dynamics.If/when I need physical therapy again, this is the place.
Amazing, compassionate experts! I highly recommend them. A lifetime of martial arts and a return to it after 14 years off I injured my knee badly. I had been to see Ken once for my back and he was magnificent. A chiropractor had told me that I would have to go weekly for the rest of my life. After two visits with Ken, my back felt great and I had some exercises that were great in general to do any time. When my knee went I went to Hank after seeing a surgeon. They not only helped me with my knee, they specifically tailored my exercises to martial arts. I ended up needed surgery, and they were with me the whole way. They were always kind, even when I ugly cried while sharing the surgery news. lol And they helped me safely get as strong as I could before to ease recovery, and to know what to expect after. They taught me to use crutches and I found tremendous relief knowing they were there. My time was always well spent and Hank, Ken, John, Pam and the interns are just the best. Wonderful people. I joke that physical therapy is my favorite sport now. But truly, being able to safely work all the structures without injury felt great. If you are older and considering returning to a very active sport, I HIGHLY recommend seeing them BEFORE going back. They have great ways to safely strengthen and stretch and can really help for your sport. I coached the gold medal TKD girls team for AAU Junior Olympics, and their advice for safely getting higher side kicks was indispensable and helped get that win. Im forever grateful and really encourage athletes, and martial artists of all levels, to see them before injury if possible. They know their stuff!
After I dislocated my elbow due to rugby in January, Hank and his team got me back to the sport before the end of February. Great exercises and support from the whole staff. Unfortunately, I then ruptured my ACL playing against GA Tech and had to get surgery, and they have been nothing short of phenomenal. I ended up having to get surgery during COVID they were super helpful, accommodating, and informative. My recovery has been seamless and people have been impressed with how well I’ve been doing, and I truly owe it to the awesome folks at Dynamics PT! The location is also super convenient to campus and residential areas. Highly recommend for students and athletes in Athens!
To start with, the entire staff is fantastic, from the therapists on down to the office personnel. Ken Copes, the therapist I have seen on and off for years, is nothing short of a miracle worker, and Hank, who I have also seen, is wonderful. I have been a mass of orthopedic surgeries, and no one has helped me more than the staff at Dynamics. I recently finished a round of therapy for a bad shoulder, and once again, I feel so much better. Thanks to all.
Another PT recommend Ken to me for my neck issues. He had a different approach that I have benefitted from since and still do my exercises he gave me to do at home. I have a partial knee replacement and after 6 years started hurting to the point I could barely walk. I was going on a motorcycle tour in Spain with my husband and was worried that I would not be able to go. After spending several months with Hank and John, and their type of therapy and doing exercises at home, they had me ready to go on my trip! Had absolutely no problems on the trip or since that time. Now going to Hank for my shoulder and even after a week is already feeling better. Again, he gave me exercises to do at home. Love their approach!I highly recommend Spine Dynamics! The whole staff is professional and friendly.
These folks took great care in helping me rehab after a knee replacement. They provided the guidance, encouragement and tools to get me back to my active daily routine. An almost family like atmosphere where genuine interest in you and your progress are evident with every visit.
A total knee joint replacement and referrals from two friends took me to Dynamics Physical Therapy. The care I received working with Hank and John was thorough, educational and effective. The practice is relaxed and individualized which I appreciated and I was treated with kindness. This process wasnt easy but I did what Hank and John told me and got an excellent result!
I was impressed with Dynamics PT from beginning to end. My assessment was very thorough, and improvement started on the first visit. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, practical, and hands-on for the entire visit. I would highly recommend Dynamics Physical Therapy to anyone! Everyone there is caring and friendly, and the progress I made was tremendous. Almost a year ago, I broke my leg and had to eventually have two surgeries. I went from not being able to straighten my knee to playing sports and running. Spine Dynamics helped my children with sports related injuries. I give Ken Copes and Hank Wright credit for helping my son have a successful high school baseball career after an elbow injury Freshman year, my youngest daughter in being able to continue her work with Canopy Studio following a neck injury and my middle daughter with an ongoing back issue following a fall in Middle School. I just had my turn with a knee injury. After weeks of pain and immobility, I can see myself back to spin class and on the golf course! Spine Dynamics is a happy place--full of expert care, compassion and good company.
What a wonderful physical therapy experience!! The staff was so friendly and fun, making going to physical therapy a pleasure. I had total knee replacement surgery, so I got to work with the King of Knees - Hank Wright, PA, LAT. He is a MASTER!! Hank made exercise goals seem reachable, and had such knowledge, patience and playful fun that physical therapy was not difficult at all. It was obvious during my sessions, talking with other patients, and former patients dropping by to say hey, that Hank and his team have made great differences in peopless lives. I was well taken care of after my knee replacement. Each week was crafted to the exercises I needed at that time, and I progressed really well. The exercises pushed me but being patient I gradually could tell I was getting there.The staff was WONDERFUL--personable, answered all my questions, flexible appointments and VERY understanding if I was running behind.They helped me so much and if anything else comes up with me, Ill be at their door. I’ve had multiple spine injections which eventually stopped working . I would have called my situation as “acute chronic back pain” with no surgical solution evident.After 5 visits to Ken at Spine Dynamics,my back pain has been virtually eliminated. I am back to playing golf twice per week, pain free. His targeted exercises and faithful practice of them will definitely help . Highly recommendthese friendly and helpful professionals.
The most effective, attentive, and fun physical therapists I have ever had. They recommended some nontraditional approaches, like daily relaxed breathing and tiny total motion release exercises, but the approaches helped! I went due to intense muscle spasms in my neck (effects of a herniated disc), but they helped me with a variety of issues. Great personalities, helpful, compassionate, aand the office admins are great and very organized, too
I was a student athlete and was experiencing extreme pain in my left hip. I had tried everything, and Dynamics PT was the place that finally resulted in improvement. I am now feeling much better and have a range of exercises to help with pain management and to prevent future pain. Highly recommend!
With the take-home exercise handouts I was given by my orthopedist I was making slow and minimal progress in the aftermath of my Achilles tendon tears (two tears, one nearly ripped off my calcaneus). Friends and family urged me to find a physical therapist and the overwhelming majority of folks I asked recommended DYNAMICS PHYSICAL THERAPY. Both Kenny and Hank are experts, but I worked with Hank who specializes in lower body/legs/feet/ankles. Hank started off with a thorough assessment based on my medical records and his own examination and then put me on once or twice weekly in-office sessions along with specific home exercises that have in just a couple of months gotten me back at about 95% mobility (the OTHER 5% I attribute to my age!). Hank is knowledgeable, caring, patient, clear in his instructions, and determined to send his clients away as near totally improved as possible. I recommend this group enthusiastically!!
I had my knee replaced December 2015 at St. Marys in Athens. I had a horrible experience there with NO PT and equipment that didnt work. I was told they were short-handed because of the holiday. I then had PT at home for a few days until my PT daughter showed up and took me to AOC to use equipment that the home health person didnt have. There I ended up with a PT assistant where I spent several weeks twice a week and got nowhere. My motion was under 100 degrees, my knee was swollen and the pain level was higher than before the surgery. Again, my daughter got involved and I was given a real PT at AOC after 6 weeks. She tried to get me motion for the next 5 months without success. I still had swelling and pain. Friends made me go see a second doctor at Emory and, after an exam, he immediately told me I needed the scar tissue removed or I would never get full motion. I had the second surgery March 1 and went to Dynamicss the next day. Hank walked me through what was going to be necessary to get full motion and we started that day. Over the next several weeks with sessions twice a week we made progress - 105 degrees, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130 and today 132. I now can function without restriction walking up and down stairs, etc. The swelling is gone and pain is down from an 8 to 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am now working to build up all of the muscles that I lost during this ordeal.The guys at Dynamicss customize every visit to give you what is needed for improvement. One hour sessions are at least an hour, not 45 minutes. You do not do the exact same thing every time. Hank listens to where you are in the journey and helps you get to the next level. I could not be more pleased. Hank and the team have given me my mobility back after over a year of pain and agony and I am extremely grateful. I recommend them 100 percent.
I had a very positive experience with Dynamics Physical Therapy. All of the staff, office staff included, were warm and welcoming. I received very competent, individualized care for a chronic problem with bursitis. My discomfort diminished and I even learned some tools that I can use at home to help myself in the future. Highly recommend!

Ken Copes and Hank Wright are both worth every cent and more! They are professional yet warm and friendly. But the main reason for the 5 stars is that I am 100% satisfied with the service they offered me. My ailing back no longer is in pain. My torn rotator cuff now works (without surgery). I can play 3 sets of tennis without pain. It is amazing. I thought that I would just have back pain the rest of my life. I thought that I would never be able to play tennis again. But I am now pain free and can lead a very active life -- not bad for someone in her 70s. I can recommend Dynamics Physical Therapy 100%.
After suffering a shoulder injury that ultimately lead to surgery, I made a trip over to Dynamics Physical Therapy. This turned out to be a phenomenal choice. The service provided here by Hank and John was top notch as were the results. They are not only personable but also dedicate time to developing a clear understanding of the problem, making a plan, and then executing it. If I had to do it all over again, I would undoubtedly return and believe their service is unparalleled in the Athens area.

Dynamics Physical Therapy employs techniques that can be described as truly innovative. The Therapists have years of experience and tailor their program to fit your needs. Recently, when I was in the gym and one approach wasnt yielding the desired affect, a different therapist was called over to assess my condition. Needless to say, between the two therapists, I was miraculously, fixed. I was told, by one, ...it takes a village.... They have established quite a wonderful village and within this village, you feel like a real family member.
If you want physical therapy during which you sit at various machines and exercise certain body parts, DO NOT go to Hank Wright and the gang at Dynamics PT in Athens, GA.If you want personalized, creative, innovative, useful strategies and exercises that you will be able to replicate at home, GO to Hank and gang.Every time I have broken or sprained a body part over the last 20 years or so, I have sought out Hank. I never even knew his last name until a few years ago! But he is widely known and respected by medical personal and others throughout the region. When he gets quiet and gazes into the near-distance, you know he is in creative mode and the result will be an exercise or a program designed particularly for you. No cookie-cutter exercise program exists in his realm!I have always been a bit slow to heal, and Hank’s patience knows no end. We just keep plugging along until I finally am able to go on my own. And I don’t like being discharged from Dynamics PT because of the genuine, warm, and fun atmosphere that permeates each moment I am there.You, too, should become a member of the Dynamics PT family for all your physical therapy needs!

Im very pleased with my experience at Dynamics Physical Therapy. I was suffering from severe back pain and after following dutifully the easy exercise routine that Ken prescribed for me, Im like new. The staff is warm and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent Service. I never had to use a Physical Therapy service before, but this was a great experience to rehabilitate my knee. Thank you Hank and John (and the interns) whom took well care of me. I had such an amazing experience at dynamics physical therapy! I am a high school cross country and track athlete and I had acute pain in my leg for almost a year and a half and after starting physical therapy my pain was reduced within just a few weeks and has been long term eliminated! Going to physical therapy has really unlocked my potential as a runner and the stretches and exercises I was shown have helped me greatly and continue to help me in the long term. I had been to several medical practitioners and chiropractors re treatment of plantar facieitis in my foot, which bothered me for a year. Finally, Hank at Dynamics Physical Therapy pointed out a cause of the problem that no one else determined. After just a few treatments, my foot is fine and I can once again go on my daily exercise walks. Thank you Hank and Dynamics PT!!
I was experiencing vertigo and nausea. My GP diagnosed the problem as stemming from my inner ear. I knew about the Epley Maneuver, and I followed videos from YouTube. mmm. Not much help. I noted that some PTs know the proper procedure, and sure enough, Hank Wright had the technique down cold. Instead of being on sleepy drugs for two weeks, Hank shortened my down-time to two days. Hank and Ken are super.
Very positive experience. Hank and Ken are very personable. They practice alternative methods of therapy that helped resolve my sciatica. Also gave me many things to do at home that will continue to help me.
The people at Spine Dynamics are an extraordinary team. I actually enjoyed going to therapy! In the past I have been to other local PTs and have always felt like there was something missing. Not at Spine Dynamics. Everybody there is friendly, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. And I was taught exercises that I can do at home without purchasing expensive equipment.

These folks really helped me with a foot problem. I have plantar fasciitis and after a few visits, the pain is almost completely gone. The exercises that Hank Wright gave me are making a huge difference. He clearly knows his stuff and everyone there is very friendly and caring. The environment is casual and pleasant. The building is just north of Prince Avenue where it meets North Milledge, across from Flowerland and somewhat diagonal from Dunkin Donuts. When I first went, it was a little hard to see where to park, but they are down in the back of the building, and the best way to exit seems to be to head west on a little side road behind there. I highly recommend Dynamics Physical Therapy.
On schedule, knowledgeable, and friendly. Worked with me to craft a therapy routine that fixed my problem and met my budget and timeline. I have the tools I need to help prevent the pain from happening again as well as exercises I can do if it reoccurs.
Hank and the whole staff were wonderful in preparing me for my ACL reconstruction and afterwards. They were supportive and honest about the recovery process and what I needed to do to get back to being active. I dont think my recovery would have gone as smoothly and quickly had it not been for them.
As I have entered my 60’s, things are wearing out, being replaced and trying to fall off. For all these ailments I turn to Hank Wright, Ken ,John and Matt of DPT. I really liked the personal atttention I got at Dynamics PT. Everyone was always nice ane welcoming and they were very responsive and knowledgeable regarding my PT needs, including clear instructions for my home PT routine. They were also available when I needed to get in unexpectedly. Their support certainly helped me bounce back quickly from a broken leg.
This was my first time doing physical therapy and this place was awesome. All the therapists, volunteers, and office staff were professional, friendly, and FUN. Pam at the front desk is friendly, helpful, and full of information about insurance and scheduling. I work with therapist Ken Copes, a true professional and spinal expert. I leave each session with Ken feeling better than when I arrived. His creative, evidence-based approach motivates me to keep working and leads to gratifying results. Dynamics earns my highest rating with every visit.

2021-12-03I was treated by Hank Wright at Dynamics Physical Therapy for a little over six months to address knee pain that was limiting my ability to enjoy physical activity (running/swimming/hiking etc). I had a great experience working with Hank. Beyond evaluating my condition and prescribing stretches and strengthening routines to improve my symptoms, Hank served as a teacher and partner in my journey to better understanding my athletic capabilities and limitations. I have closed my course of treatment at Dynamics PT more attuned to my body and feeling empowered to continue to pursue and maintain an active lifestyle and will certainly be returning to Dynamics in the future if I am in need of additional treatment.

2022-03-08I came to Dynamics PT for my knee replacement(s) PT because of recommendations from my mother and a friend who had both come here after their TKR. I love that it is small and easy to get to (even when I could drive the parking is right by the door and there are no steps!). The therapy was very challenging but also very encouraging. I am now almost seven months out from my first knee and four months from my second ~ walking, biking, swimming, starting strength training and getting ready for pickle ball and tennis again!But the best part is that I never felt like just a patient ~ the atmosphere was friendly and because it was smaller I saw only three therapists the entire time. I could tell you tidbits about each of them as well as the one I did not see and the two office staff! They were all like family and made me feel the same way. My only complaint is that my mother who had the same surgery three years ago at 85 progressed even faster than I did! But even my surgeon said the 80 year old women seem to do the best!I know there are a lot of great places to PT in the Athens area, but I do highly recommend DPT and especially for TKR therapy.

2022-06-24I came to Spine Dynamics after 6 weeks of wheelchair bound recovery from foot surgery with a donor graft replacement for my tibial tendon. Yesterday, a year later, I graduated by walking out totally unassisted. Hank, John and Ken worked week after week with therapy, exercises and encouragement to help me overcome pain, stiffnes and balance issues. Thanks to all of you.

2022-09-15Dynamics PT was perfect for me because I wanted to work with professionals in a small, personalized setting. Members of the whole team - Ken, Hank, John, Pam - take an interest in the patient. I cant imagine getting the same personal attention in the big PT mill.

2021-05-17I have been working with Dynamics for 5 1/2 months, after having both Knees replaced within 3 months of each other. I cannot sat enough about Hank, John ,Matt, and Pam. Their treatment was outstanding, and they made Me feel very comfortable in so many ways; not the least of which was the friendships we created. Their facilities make for a very relaxed atmosphere, as you go through the process of rehabilitating your body. I highly recommend Dynamics for anyone needing Physical Therapy. They are simply the best.

2018-02-21I have scoliosis and I travel from South Carolina every 3 months to see Hank, Ken, and John. These three PTs at Dynamics Physical Therapy are the best in the country. They each participate in my treatment and in developing exercises that is best for me. Its worth the 6 hour trip to work with professionals who are the very best-- and I feel great!

2020-11-25I have been in rehab for my ankle surgery this past year with the team at Dynamics. Hank, Ken, John and Matt have all worked with me and have been absolutely wonderful! Pam has been easy to work with on setting my appointments and billing my insurance. I give all of the staff a 5 STAR rating and will recommend them to anyone seeking PT help. Thanks for a great 2020 especially in light of all of the challenges this year has brought!
