I would rate this hotel a 1 star. Because yes it’s remodeled nice. But there were blood stains in the covers and roaches crawling on the wall. I will not stay here again. I have pictures I just don’t know how to post them. It’s sad when you have to get up at 2:45Am in the morning and leave because of the problems stated above. But Ms. Page was very nice and polite. We would recommend her to any job. She is good at what she does. Way to Go! Y’all stay Blessed!!!!
I have been traveling to Warner Robins for the last 5 months. I have stayed in 4 different hotels in the area. No hotel in the area compares to this Econo Lodge. The rooms are modern and clean. Owners and employees are very nice and accomodating. The price of the rooms are very reasonable, considering the quality and how clean the rooms are.
My husband and I checked-in in this hotel driving from IL to FL. The king bedroom that we are in was fine but the bed was super hard. That was fine maybe we are not use that that hard bed. The thing that irritated me the most is the breakfast. I booked this hotel so in the morning we have breakfast and start driving but when we came to breakfast 15 minutes before they close the breakfast, everything was out away already. NO COFFEE EVEN!!!! I makes me mad!
To be honest the worst motel I ever stayed at. They have the worst management I’ve ever experienced. I tried to cancel even though the website said free cancellation up to a certain date and I tried to cancel literally 5 days before that initial date and they said I couldn’t get my money back. So I stayed the nights I purchased, the place looked dirty and dingy and old, there were cockroaches outside my door and IN MY ROOM. I told the management and they said it’s nothing they can do they had the problems for months. I’m so disgusted with this place. Please if u plan on staying in the middle Georgia area don’t EVER stay here!!! 10 out of 10 will never recommend.
I like that the rooms have been updated to where there is no carpet in the rooms, it appears like hardwood but its still linoleum. Rooms were clean. They do have the option for smoking rooms which is rare in this day and time. My complaint would be management goes around banging on the door between 10:30 and 10:45 which is a very nerve-racking and rude. Otherwise its very conveniently located right off the interstate at the Centerville Warner Robins exit. All rooms are outside facing. There are no inside rooms. No breakfast. It is in walking distance of a convenience store.
This was the only hotel around that had rooms available. After driving over 10 hrs we decided to take a room. There was no where to park and when we finally got to the room we had cockroaches all over the place. We all just showered and left. Waste of money dont do it.
The room was okay. The ceiling had large pieces of plaster missing and it had a cigarette smoke smell when we walked in. The worst part though was when the owners or managers pounded on the door in the morning despite the “do not disturb” sign on the door telling me “check out time. Time to leave.” And argued with me when I said our check out date is not until the following day. Didn’t apologize or anything. Very rude.
My guy and I wanted a quick getaway and came across this hotel. I read through some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. It was relatively quiet and clean. If I had one complaint, it would be that the shower head could have been updated but it really wasnt that big of a deal. Id stay at this hotel again.
Stayed here on our way home while traveling through from Mi to Fl. Front desk was friendly and efficient-honored an internet price as well. Room was very clean and comfortable. We left before breakfast was open, but the staff offered us to grab food/coffee for they way out. Looks like the usual pastries, donuts, bagels, waffle station, biscuits and gravy, juice, and probably more-I just took a quick glance. Parking is scarce so good luck with that if the place is booked. Gas station basically on the property so very convenient when it’s open (we came in late and left early). Super nice staff - we would definitely stay here again.
This is a top notch motel. Everything was cleaned to perfection! The manager was very very nice. There is a convenience store practically in the parking lot. You are treated as a true guest. Now when I said its price eas a bit high, I haver not surveyed that particular market, it might be quite reasonable. Bottom line: Great sservice, an exceptionly clean room, close to good restaurants and a great breakfast.
The second we got in our room it all went downhill from there. No exaggeration, we walked in our room when we stayed here, cockroaches everywhere. We counted. 7 found in the bathroom, and 8 near our beds. We were so dead dog tired from traveling we didnt want to leave so we just killed them all and went to sleep, but they more kept popping up after that
We stayed at the Econo Lodge in Byron – Warner Robins for seven days. It was one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. Everyone on the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and well kept. The coffee was excellent and ready promptly at 6:00 as advertised (critical item for me).The location was very convenient. It is located just off I-75 and within a short driving distance of many name brand restaurants.Best of all there is a Food Mart and Shell gas station adjacent to and operated by the hotel staff – very convenient.
I booked a room at this hotel for the sole purpose of being able to have breakfast while I attended an early morning conference call while travelling. I went to the lobby to get breakfast minutes before my business call and was asked to leave my food because taking it out of the lobby wasnt permitted. I would have happily paid for a breakfast if I could take it to my room, but that was not an option. When I returned to my room having been forced to throw away the plate of food I planned to eat, the wifi wouldnt even function. Not only was I unable to eat breakfast, I had to cancel a business meting due to malfunctioning wifi. Of only two qualifications I looked for in my stay, neither were met. I will not be staying with econolodge in the future, and I will be hesitant to believe rating on choicehotels.com.
Avoid this hotel if you can... there are cleaner, safer, and more affordable hotels just down the road (toward the mall). This hotel was such a disappointment! The doors dont have numbers on them to identify the unit. Instead there are ripped pieces of paper taped to the door with the # scrawled on it - no joke! Every door had missing paint and most were banged up. The room we were in had a stained bed cover and sheet, holes in the curtain, broken dresser drawer that hung out into the room, dirty smell, and the toilet leaked water badly at the base. Seedy and run-down are accurate words to describe the hotel. Wish more people had given truthful reviews of the property.
This hotel is conveniently located near I-75. The room was clean, large and the a/c was nice & cold. The staff was very nice and friendly. I didnt take advantage of the breakfast but I did have the opportunity to use the area to conduct business. Id definitely stay here again when Im in the area.
Great staff very helpful will make sure you room is clean and take care of you needs right away. The only issue if any was the microwave was outdated and wished the window could be cracked for fresh air but it worked so that was a good thing for the time we spent there.
This hotel met our one overnight stay. We were there many years ago and chose to try it again. The lack of a hot breakfast is disappointing. The cold breakfast choice was even lacking compared to another Econo Lodge we recently stayed at. The room was just so so....clean and neat but you better get info on how to use the two tv remote controls from clerk before going to your room.
The rooms below us and next to us were scorched from a recent fire and we werent told about this when we booked or when we checked in. There was a beat up scary looking Jeep parked in front of our room and someone came and took it at one point even though it looked like it couldnt move. There was what appears to be a disgusting love stain on a chair in our room. We booked a room for 4 adults and got 2 towels that were COVERED in black hair (which none of us have) getting out of the shower was a hairy nightmare. And the shower makes terribly loud sounds when you step in it. Terrible terrible stay. Stay far away.
Hotel met my family and my needs. Room was clean. Beds comfortable, and shower hot. Very important to me. Staff was most helpful. The morning breakfast was a plus. Would stay there again. Like that the gas station was right there. Its kind of out of the way, yet off a main road.
Overall, expectations were met for price. They had a room available right next to the gas station I stopped at in the midst of a 16 hour drive. Jacuzzi room was available for great price, but only 2 of the 6 jets worked. Friendly morning greeting by a sluggish little roach.
Random stop at this motel and couldnt have been more satisfied. By far, best one of our trip. New restaurant next door and all restaurants, shops, etc. in close proximity. Motel and rooms were freshly painted and new furniture and carpeting will be installed. No charge for wi-fi.
I stayed in room 109 on March 24. We got in late about 1 am and wanted to stay until 9 am and continue our trip into central Florida. By 4.30 am we had to leave. The room stunk of urine and you could see the bed bugs on the sheets. The mattresses felt like plywood and the towels were visibly dirty. After we left we had to stop and shower just to stop the itching. I dont know who the people were that thought this was a nice hotel, but they had to be from the amazon rain forest or the swamps of Africa. Worst hotel experience in my life to that date.
Everything about this day was not good from the time at check-in to the fact that the bed clothing clearly stated something that children should not see . Apparently the hotel cleaning staff and or maintenance truly do not have an appreciation of who might be staying at this hotel. So with that being said should you have any questions please feel free to call thanks .
Checked in at 3am, had 4 rooms. Drove around to back of hotel and they had given us 4 room adjacent to the rooms that had been burnt by car fire several months prior. We booked our rooms about a month in advance and there was nothing stating fire damage. 2 rooms smoky smell, 1 room was dirty. All rooms were hot and stagnant, air wasnt on, took about an hour and a half to cool down. checked out at 8-830 am. Only got points for 1 room, paid for 4. Breakfast was a joke.
Seriously!!! $70.00 for the night and there are bugs and weird looking crums in my bed. Behind the bed are dead roaches!! Lady at counter needs some customer service adjustments. Idk, I think you cant fond any good places to stay anymore unless you pay over $100.00. Im not exaggerating about the bugs either!
The public internet connection was great.I checked in at the front desk and was unable use the front desk phone to call Choice Hotels to book the room. I was told it was for business only use.The continental breakfast was not good. It was to go from 6:30 - 9:30 am. I got their at 9 am and their was enough coffee for one cup only. They brought out more bagels but they were frozen and I had to microwave it to get it apart.
Great motel. Great price. Clean and free of any foul smell, stentch or must(as usual motels within this price range have). Really quiet and absolutly no loitering at all. Safe!! Great to take the whole family(kid safe)! Its in a really good location being located right off the interstate and right behind a subway and 3 conveinant stores, one being the pilot(which is the mega of conveinant stores due to being a major truck rest and provides free showers and has an Arbys located inside). Walmart is not too far down the road, only aproximatley a couple miles or so, as well as the Galleria Mall(just to name a few very common popular visiting spots near this location) Anyway, I think I have emphasized enough. The next best motel you are going to run up on going towards the walmart direction is the Comfort Inn & Suites directly across from walmart. Although their price is a little higher at a rate of about 75$ or so. And BTW, at Comfort Inn(I dont know if this goes for Econo) if you are not paying with card, and with cash, a deposit of 100$ has to be paid plus the 75$ and they say that the 100$ will be refunded if the room isnt messed up.
Very rude staff. Would NEVER stay there again. They removed breakfast at exactly 9am and refused us coffee at 9:05. They beat on room door between 8:45 to 9am pushing everyone to get out. Saying check out is at 10am. At 10:05 I was taking last suitcase to car and the staff man followed me to car repeating Check out is at 10. Are you leaving now
Clean but outdated. We needed an extra 20 minutes after check out to pack up our things and were harassed by staff members banging loudly on the door screaming: Get out, get out after we explained that we needed 5-10 minutes more and asked them to go clean the room next door while we got ready.
Once I got in the room first thing I saw was a BUG IN MY BED I mean I get it it’s a out side hotel but still I don’t wanna see a bug in my BED plus there’s others everywhere plus it’s unsanitary cause your ice bucket is dirty in the inside, the floors still dirty, walls have stains or just dirty, stains on the pillows, there’s stains on the bed this was highly disgusting and I got non smoke room and stilled smelled like smoke still
VERY UNPLEASENT STAY.......chose this location due to location, but will never stay there again. Staff RUDE AND VERY ABRRASIVE AND THEY PHOTO COPY YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE. When I questioned the staff as to why they copied my license, I got conflicting reasons, one which was that local law enforcement requires it..........Im thinking that these people were/are collecting info for identity theft.Room had bad odorparking was terrible (not enough spaces for all the rooms#people drinking and cooking in parking lot.housecleaning attempted to open door even after told to go away # at 830 AM#water for shower was warm and never did heat up or get hot3 tiny pillows for a king size bed #like small throw pillow size)
The Econolodge we stayed at in Byron, GA was such a disappointment. We needed a place to sleep for one night just to break up our long travel over two days, so we werent looking for plush accommodations, just somewhere clean, cheap, and safe. This hotel was the definition of run-down - bad smell in the room, holes in the curtains, stained bed covers, broken dresser with drawer hanging out, toilet leaking water out of the base, stained carpet, no numbers on the doors to identify the room (they used torn pieces of paper taped to the door with the number scrawled on it to identify the rooms - unreal), and the outer doors had dents, scrapes, and missing paint on all of them. If you bring a dog, be aware that there is very little green space to walk your pet. I wish more reviews on this property had been honest about the condition. There are clean, affordable, safe hotels in the opposite direction down by the mall, etc that I would recommend if youre stopping at this exit. Econolodge is a bust for us, Im afraid. One bad apple DOES spoil the whole bunch in this case.
Employees were friendly and room was sufficient considering the reasonable cost. Breakfast was as good as could be expected for an Econolodge. The Econolodge on Roosevelt was pathetic. Bagels, no creme cheese, no yogurt, stale muffins, less than a continental. Juice watered down. This Econolodge had more than a typical continental with fresh items and yogurt!
This place is nothing but an awful place to stay, we stop there because we were very tired on our driving to florida, first, going with animals they charge us 15 dollars for each dog, when you can visit a 4 start hotel like candelwood and is only 20.00 for all of them, then when we got in the room, the furniture is all rotten, the bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder, the paper was sitting on the floor of the bathroom, the hair dryer was not in the wall, apparently they are renovating the place, the price said 55.00 and it was 119.00, and the air condition did not work either. On top of that my husband left behind his graduated glasse and when we call to give them our address to send them here, they charge us 15.00 dollars on top of that, and one week after they still do not send them, when we call again today, the Assistant manager said that the paper was dropped in the garbage by accident!!! go figure, and we still do not receive them...we will wait 3 days to see if we were lucky. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
We stayed for about 3-4 hours just to not drive through the whole night price was average but not worth what we stayed yet it was great to have stayed to rest for a bit. Expectations were what was imagined. Did not like that our room smelled of smoke when it was labeled a nonsmoking room.
We only stayed at this hotel for 4 hours, arriving late (which was advised) 1AM and leaving early 4.30AM (we was on a long road trip). Staff didnt check who we were, they did ask a name but that was it, they just passed us the door card through a small window. On check out no one could be found so we just had to leave the door passes.

2022-03-23This hotel looks a little sketch when driving up, but the rooms seem like they have been updated recently. Very clean - especially the bathrooms. The lady at the check-in desk was really really friendly. They offer breakfast (we slept in tho), and they let me park my moving truck in the light by the store where it was safe. The only negative i have is the jacked up parking lot. Dont drive a big truck into the parking lot behind the hotel. Its a tight squeeze.

2022-06-17I forgot the name of the Indian guy who checked me in late at night, I think his name might be Jay, but he was sooooo rude and disrespectful. I called before I booked this place to check if they were pet-friendly and the wonderful lady who answered me said yes they are. I arrived past midnight after a long day of driving and this miserable guy was almost successful in denying my stay, which was non-refundable, because he said my dog was big. It was such a ridiculous reason to steal my money. But I pressed on and threatened to sue so he finally budged. If I knew they were not friendly to big dogs, I would not have stayed here. Mind you I have a 77 lbs, medium size, well-trained and wonderful Labrador.

2022-01-16Booked room via Priceline, checked in on Friday at 4:30 pm. Front desk clerk tried to charge me for the room again...even though I showed her my confirmation from Priceline that clearly said “paid in full”. Online pictures are very misleading and this hotel is actually attached to a gas station. Walked into the room (downstairs #11) and it was apparent that the room above us had a water leak....as the popcorn ceiling paint above the bed was coming off....huge pieces missing. There was a wad of hair inside the bathtub. When I went to close the curtains I found beer bottle caps on the window sill. The heat also wouldn’t work. The overall appearance of this establishment was run-down and ready for a remodel.

2022-05-31The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location near gas stations, no pretty views. Comfortable bed and clean room. I didnt like that I could smell smoke in my room.

2022-03-30This was the most disgusting room I’ve ever been in. It smelled of cigarette smoke. The bedspread had burn holes and tears. The bathroom doors had holes leading to a filthy bathroom just to mention a few things. When asking the woman at the front desk she kind of shrugged and said she would make note of it. No offer to find a different room which makes me think all room at this hotel are this bad. We should have just left but we’re trying to catch some rest after 14 hours on the road. Leaving would have been better because there was very little rest in this scary, filthy room.

2022-05-25DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY at the motel. I booked a room online at Priceline and didnt realize there were 2 locations in Bryon. The hotel refuses to cancel my reservation and refund the price of the room. What a rip off. But I will be calling my bank in the morning and putting a STOP PAYMENT AND THEY WILL NOT GET MY MONEY for a room that I did not stay in

2022-05-09My stay was a nightmare,I paid for my room on Feb 4 2022 and they called the police on me for eating breakfast, check out was at 11am. I went down stairs to eat breakfast at 7:30 and they called the police on me and I was legit, even sent them to my room. They profiled me but the Caucasian & Spanish guest was not profiled,so be careful black people.

2022-02-19This hotel/motel needs a facelift. The rooms have been updated, theres a convenience store literally on property, but little else nearby.... unless you drive a few miles into Warner Robbins. Otherwise; the property is rundown & has outside access to rooms.

2021-11-14Its a clean and tidy place. Ive stayed a few times. Only on the last trip did I find the night time front desk woman cold. Not polite or welcoming at all. Not even a smile to say hello, or anything to make me feel like a welcomed traveler. Aside from that its a nice place for a stop over

2021-10-25We were traveling to a funeral. Decided to stop at the nearest Choice Hotel. After check in, I noticed there were two charges on my credit card. Went back in to have that corrected. Nonsmoking room had a smell of cigarette smoke. Room had plaster falling from ceiling. Couch stench of smoke. The bed was clean and we slept comfortably.
