The sale guy was great and everyone was friendly. Only problem was & I understand it was late but the truck was not very clean. They took it bad to wash it, they ended up scratching the hood in the process. So I wasnt too pleased with that but They told me that they would fix it. Yes I will be buying my next vehicle from Edd Kirby Adventure.

I’ve never bought a vehicle from edd kirbys, I got mine from another dealer, a GMC Sierra and the transmission recently went out and I had to take it to a Chevy dealer and I chose Edd Kirby. From the minute I called them and dropped my vehicle off and explained what it was doing they treated me just as if I had bought the vehicle from them and are replacing the transmission which is under warranty. They took my car in and had it diagnosed within a day and have called me and kept me informed of the problems they found and what they are going to do to fix it. Their service department is very attentive and I will definitely be taking my vehicle to them for services from now on and when I need a new vehicle they will be the first place I go to.
I had an amazing experience! The entire team at Edd Kirby’s took great care of me. I wasn’t even in the market for a vehicle when I got the deal of a lifetime! I love my new to me 2018 4Runner. I cannot rave about our experience with Abdul at Edd Kirbys Adventure dealership more! We live outside of Nashville, TN and contacted the dealership about a Jeep Wrangler that we found listed online for sale. Im so glad that we were paired up with Abdul because he was the most helpful salesman that weve ever encountered. Weve bought and sold many cars and Abdul is top notch!! He answered all questions very timely, he explained everything, he wasnt pushy AT ALL! He was respectful of our time and made sure that everything was all ready for use once we decided to drive to Dalton and buy the Jeep. He was the BEST! I wish all salesmen were as amazing as he was! The dealership itself was great too - decor is quite funny and dated, but to each their own. What matters is the people inside - and we 100% felt like everyone was honest and appreciative of our business. WONDERFUL experience!
Waist of time to drive there. Several better more respectful dealers around. They literally called me four days in a row with offers to buy my car which is paid for. I sent the VIN # and photos to the lady. She responds please bring it in for a cash offer. So I drive up there and then was told they only buy cars that are in perfect condition 😂....what a joke
Hollywood made our vehicle purchase experience extremely enjoyable. He did all he could to get us in the vehicle we really wanted. He treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of. We definitely will continue to use Edd Kirby Adventure Chevrolet in the future.
Fantastic experience! I drove up from Florida (near PCB area) and I had been to all of the Jeep dealerships in the area (Cleveland, Chattanooga, etc.). Had no intentions of buying a car on Friday... but, Madison Knight took her time and got me into a vehicle in my price range that day! I love my new Jeep Wrangler Sport S! The manager was so delightful and a great help. I highly recommend this dealership! Go see Madi!!
I came by didnt know what would happen and Jerry was awesome got me and my husband a blazer and its so cool!!! I was just doing him a favor and did t know what would happen and was worried about the procress with it all being in my name but I tell you the people at edd kirby can do miracles. I feel so relaxed and i wanted my husband with me but they were so nice and made it enjoyable jerry is energetic and super nice great guy i highly recommend him!!!!!
I went on Saturday to see what my options were on a trade in and right away I was greeted by Luis. Luis explained all the futures on the car along with providing the car history. Right away we went on a test drive. Luis was nothing, but kind and courteous. As a first time buyer I had so many questions and luckily Luis took the time to explain everything to me. I didn’t feel rushed during the process. He went above and beyond to make sure I was able to drive off with the car. I called an got an appointment right away and was well pleased with my experience. The problem was immediately found and the part was ordered to fix it. The only issue i had was it took several days to get the part but i dont think that was the service departments fault.

Very disappointed I got off work early too go pick out a car to buy been talking too them for two days I got approved online for a car loan got their a the sales guy was not a sales guy was mgr..basically got the runaround was ask too do a nother credit check ..very disappointed in these dealership ..ps look like other coustmers un happy..
Jerry was a fabulous salesman to work with!! He answered all our questions and got back with us very quickly. He offered us a great trade-in and took care of some issues we were having with the dealership in Chattanooga. We were under a time crunch and he made the deal happen quickly and took care of all the details! He was very helpful and not pushy at all!! We love our new car and are very pleased with the service we received.
There was a time I thought Edd Kirby was the dealership for me. People were nice for the most part. Response is slow, hard to get connected and not very straightforward. We agreed to a higher down payment, rushed all the way there and was met with thats not good enough either. Thats not even as annoying as the no response to emails for days and lack of overall motivation to do a deal. It took me calling and pushing them just to get my numbers in front of me. I thank them though, they pushed me to Mtn View CDJR in Ringgold, GA. In probably 2 hours we got the trade evaluated, accepted, paid and signed the papers on our 2020 Compass. So I thank Edd Kirby for making me look elsewhere
I made an appointment to speak to a salesman at Edd Kirby Adventure in Dalton; and I was blessed to be handed to Steve Cockburn. He was so patient with me and very efficient and quick about getting the car buying process started. He kept me informed, gave me advice and ultimately made me feel very welcome and not as if I was wasting his time. I was approved for a 2019 pre-owned INCREDIBLE vehicle within 30 minutes after starting. They found me a wonderful lender and I didn’t have to pay a penny down! This is my first purchase from a credible dealership completely by myself. When it was time to sign the paperwork, Abdul Sheihk, the finance manager - was just as wonderful as Steve. He hooked me up with a great warranty, was completely thorough with explaining everything I was signing, and just downright impressive. I had all my paperwork signed within 10 minutes. I was there for the buy back event. My husband and I was looking for a bigger suv. Enrique was our salesman. He took very good care of us. He showed us our options and we liked the traverse he showed us. The next morning he called us first thing and we made the decision to purchase. When we arrived at the dealership Enrique had everything done and ready to go. He made the process so smooth and easy. At the age of 36, this is my first brand new car Ive ever purchased and he made the experience go very smoothly. While we were waiting for all the processing, he was also very funny to talk with. I had been looking for about 4 months for a particular Ram 2500 4x4. I just happened upon the Adventure Dalton website after trying just one more time. They had the exact truck I was looking for. Then I met Jerry Castro. He was by far the most helpful, courteous, knowledgeable person I have dealt with to date. He walked me through everything over the phone. He made it such a seamless transition from over the phone in another state to helping me seal the deal. Meeting Jerry, after our 4 hour trip to the store, he was such a nice person to deal with and treated both my wife and I with the utmost respect. He had the truck detailed and waiting on us. We immediately loved the way it looked and test drove it. Jerry answered every question we had. He then turned us over to the finance manager named Brian. He walked us through all the financing options along with extended warranty options available. He helped us make the right decision for us and was so very knowledgeable with the financing options. All in all , we are so very happy with our decision to purchase with Ed Kirby. Thank you all and we will be back for our next vehicle.
I buy a truck and Joshua whorton help me a lot is good a salesman also every person here in a dealer very nice people if you look for buy a car o truck come to this dealer and see Joshua,but for the seirvice department never have time to look the vehicle and no open Saturdays how can being my truck if work In the week no good. And every time the I come no have time.
Always polite and respectful. The Chevy ( 2 taller….younger men)techs are so efficient and never try and over charge or uo charge for what they do, as most dealer ships have to me. Always fast and done right I believe their names are Mike and Mitch. Have had to have work done twice each have done stuff to my 14 Chevy cruise! Thank you both! It’s nice for sure going to a place that at least two of the techs know what they are doing and do it quickly and not for all the money I have . Thank you again! Adventure… I hope that these two get a good bonus or something for how great and polite that they ALWAYS Are! They are the reason that I will keep coming back, as long as they are the ones who are working on my stuff! Thank you gentleman again! Wonderful experience from the time we walked in the door to the time we drove away in our new car! They have been nothing but kind and courteous to me and my 3 year old. We felt welcome and comfortable and they checked in with us often just to make sure that we were OK and if we needed anything . They went out of their way and did everything they could to help figure out what was wrong with my truck to get it back on the road so we could get home. If there’s ever a place I would recommend taking a vehicle to it’s definitely here! 🙂
Was surprised when my wife suggested we look at cars at Adventure, Was not expecting anything other than getting sunburned. John Rhodes came to greet us, He did an outstanding Job helping us decide what Car we would like. We drove out with a 2017 Renegade Trailhawk!! John was patient, Knew his stuff, and helpful all the way around. they not only Detailed the Car to look as Brand new as it is, they filled the Hawk with Gasoline. Nothing feels better driving than to see the needle go above the full mark on the dial!~ Thanks John! Ladell and you now are our GO TO Car salesmen! Getting a car here is a pleasant ADVENTURE for sure! I LOVE THIS JEEP!
Went to Edd Kirby in hopes of purchasing a new vehicle. I was told approval is guaranteed and I was approved, but after being told I needed a $9,000 down payment for a $24,000 car I was extremely disappointed. If I had $9,000 I would just flat out purchase a nice used car at a different dealership and not bother with financing. Would not recommend this dealership. Very disappointed and the phrase guaranteed approval is very misleading when you have to have almost a $10,000 down payment to make a purchase.
We came in on a Saturday to see if we would be able to trade in our 2011 Dodge Journey for a more updated vehicle. Our car salesman Jerry was very helpful. We had only went there to see if we would get approved on a new car and ended up falling in love with the 2021 Chevy Equinox that he showed us. We were able to trade in our old car with no issues and was able to drive our new car out the lot on the same day. Would definitely recommend.
My car would not stay running, I limped it over to your dealership, I wasnt feeling well that day and your service advisor Caleb Phillips helped me into the waiting area and found someone Eric,(Part manager) to bring me home, he waited in my drive until I made it safely in. They kept it over the weekend (No rentals). Caleb called me Monday and told me the problem and I approved the service, He worked with my warranty co. and then sent Eric back to pick me up. I wanted to give a shout out to Jimmy and Blake in the Service Dept. They could not have been more friendly and helpful in finding out what was causing a terrible smell inside of my Chevy Trax SUV. Found a dead mouse inside my air filter. Cleaned it out and replaced with a new air filter. Thank you so very much!! Steve in the Sales Dept was great too when I bought my SUV last year. I have always liked dealing with Adventure Chevrolet down through the years.
I couldn’t respond to my previous review, but was told by the service dept that I needed fuel injectors, which was about a $1400 job. They were completely wrong!!!! My car was completely covered under a recall that they told me several times that it was not!!! Thank goodness I took my car to another dealer to have it looked at, or else I would have been out of my own pocket money that was not even required!! Thanks to the other dealership they got my five stars!!!!
Ladale was awesome! He’s the 3rd Sales Consultant I’ve done business with, and he made me feel just as welcome as the others I love doing business with your dealership. Everyone, from the browsing to the financing to the signing, is friendly and courteous. The service department people are amazing. I’ve already decided that as long as I live within reasonable driving distance, Edd Kirby is where I’ll be purchasing vehicles from in the future.
Well I would give it a negative 5 starts took my truck for a noise in caliper they found everything wrong with the truck accept what was wrong with and wanted to charge 6500.00 for it. I took it to Helton tire and come to find out the bolt was missing from the caliper on driver side. I want to add took EDD Kirby all day to not find my problem and only took Helton tire 45 minutes to find it and fix it.
If I could give a zero star I would, this is by far he worse dealership I ever been in, including pay here, pay here places. The brands was all mixed up and scattered everywhere very unorganized. There was no visible signs for customer parking. There was no customer parking. Upon entering the dealership I was transported back to 1962. 1962 is the year the building was built and its still look like 1962 inside. My wife and I was greeted with lack luster salutations. Most staff members passed by without any saying anything at all. The sales staff look like they all was dressed for yard work at home and not for work. No one had name tags. The dealership smelled like a zoo upon entering. The floors was dirty and uneven a hazard to say the least. My wife and I wasnt offered anything to drink after waiting 45mins, for the salesman, so we purchased a soda from the vending machine. LOL. What a joke, Id rather pay more at a real dealership just for THE EXPERIENCE !! And at least a drink of water.TO ANSWER YOUR LATEST MAYBE SOMEONE DID REPOST IT. BUT THE REVIEW WAS REAL AND I WAS THERE AND ANOTHER GUY WHO TRADED IN A YELLOW SRT. AND A THEY GOT A CHRYSLER PACIFICA.ONCE I CALL YOU I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO TAKE DOWN YOUR FALSE ANSWER TO MY REVIEW. TODAY IS MARCH 15TH 2018. I CALL YOU TOMORROW!! BY THE HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE CAR I WAS GOING TO TRADE IN, BUT YOU LOW BALLED ME FOR $26,000 WHEN IT WAS WORTH $30,000 AT THE TIME. THAT WAS AT LEAST CARMAX OFFER TO ME.
They had a great selection of cars to choose from, but I went in with a specific car in mind and they did everything they could to get me my dream car and they succeeded. My new car is fantastic and I hope to make many new memories with it. Jerry Castro was amazing and provided me with such great customer service I felt as if I were VIP. 10/10 I will definitely be sending anyone looking for a new car there way!

Mr. Denzel went above and beyond in order to assist Us during our visit, and helped our family find not just one, but two vehicles which meet and exceed all of our families needs and wants. He was able to work within our budget and never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable with options or choices. They were very friendly and courteous from the moment I arrived. I didn’t have an appointment but accommodations were made quickly with no problems. Deionte was very professional and was able to answer my list of questions. He worked with me continuously and was very patient with my schedule. A year ago I bought a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The saleslady I got was Haley, she was amazing! She stayed in contact with me the entire time I was looking as different vehicles and showing me different options for the Jeep I wanted. Sadly though, they did not have one that met my requirements for one I would purchase. She went out of her way and found one for me and got me set up in that vehicle.After a year now, Haley has swapped posistions and Im still loving my Gladiator. When I stop by to check something or drop it off for an oil change, she is there and always checks up on me and my Jeep. Having someone that cares, checks up on, and wants to make their customers happy is something great to find at a dealership!
This review is for the service department. I had to bring my jeep into the shop because of misfires on multiple cylinders. It had to be brought to the shop 3 times within 6 weeks because each time I brought it home the issue came back. The last time it was brought up there they were asked to look at the electrical work (the cylinder head, lifters, and valve cover gasket were already replaced) They did not look at the electrical work and instead changed the O2 sensors without my consent and tried to charge me for it. I tried calling the manager and no one answered or returned my calls. These people either lack the will or the knowledge to properly diagnose the issue. I would not recommend anyone waste their time or money at this shop.
I want to give a huge thank you to my sales representative Erika Klowan for the amazing job she did to get me into my 2018 Chevrolet Malibu! It was a multiple day process but she gave it her all and did not give up! I definitely recommend going to see her if you’re in the market for a vehicle! She’s exceptional!
Caleb and the service staff were kind, professional and knowledgeable. A short convo with him, and I felt like my car was in good hands after going to several different mechanics around town and not having my issues properly diagnosed or repaired. Pricing was a little higher than Id have liked, but I kind of expected that from a dealership autoshop. And in the end you get what you pay for....check engine light is off, my car is running smooth as ever, remote start is working again and Im back on the road the same day! Thank you Adventure!
Ive bought multiple cars from Adventure Chevrolet in years past and Ive always had decent experience. I stopped by today to buy a vehicle and I was shocked by how much higher their price was than surrounding dealers for essentially the same vehicle.In response to the owners reply, this is not a competitor or unethical. I was at the dealership yesterday the 2nd of September at 11:00 am and spoke with a young salesman by the name of Jerry. I can post his business card if you would like and the texts we exchanged.
I went there because I received an email saying that I had the vehicle for 6 months or more come down to Dalton and received a trade on or reduced payments. They asked for my information so I gave my information and I told the salesman that I had just started working on my credit, he told me that it would not pull a hard credit, but it did it took my score from 611 to 589. My feelings were hurt how could you do that to a person because of what your information systems says my score was lower than that and then tell me I would need to put down over 5000 dollars really I just purchased a vehicle from you all and you run my credit drop my score down tell me to pay a huge down payment and dont approve of my payments going down. WOW. I DRIVE FROM CHATTANOOGA TO DALTON AND THIS IS HOW I WAS TREATED.
Place has an amazing inventory and should be able to find something you want. Looked online and was contacted shortly after and set up an appointment. This location had a very friendly and professional staff. I was lucky enough to get to work with Ericka. She is excellent at her job and was very knowledgeable and listened to what I was looking for. I would suggest anyone to go see her if they are looking for a different vehicle. I have bought many vehicles over the years and she has been about the best sales person Ive had the pleasure of dealing with.
We had the best experience buying our new 2020 Dodge Challenger. I couldnt believe the price they worked out for us. Anibal Vargas is the best car sales representative. He was not pushy, answered all our questions, was very respectful and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our purchase and we drove our new car home that day by 5:00 pm. Great experience and staff. Sahil helped me get into a 2017 Chevy Silverado Black Widow. Didn’t even plan on buying a Chevy but once I test drove it I knew I had to have it. I have really bad credit, and Erika was the absolute best. She helped and got me into new vehicle, when other dealerships turned me away at the door. If you need a new/newer vehicle, Ed Kirby in Dalton is the best place to go. Everyone was friendly and very very easy to do business with
Absolutely horrible experience!!!! First car we got sold to us had no motor mounts! We got a rental car given to us and got a phone call 2 days later telling us to come down they had the perfect car for us. We drove down and the car wasnt anything we asked for. When we declined the car we got yelled at and cussed out and told they were keeping the rental and we could walk home over 2 hours. The situation got taken care of. About a week later we got sold a car and we loved it and we havent even had it a year and it has 11,000 dollars worth of repairs needing done. The mechanic said the issues have been there longer than we have had the car and they arent wanting to fix the situation. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!
Jerry at Ed’s Kirby did an amazing job helping me understand the process of buying a car.(It’s my first time buying a car and I was nervous about it but he made it really easy.) I really wasn’t expecting to walk away with a car but I did and I’m happy to say my first big purchase as an adult was a Mercedes Benz! If I could rate above a 5 star I would!!

Service tech spilled oil in our alternator and it went bad a month later. We had to be towed. Caleb in the service department went above and beyond to correct this and make it right. Alternator was changed and we were reimbursed for the tow and another dealer visit out of state. Even took care of a transmission service we needed. All of this was done in the same say we dropped it off. Its bad that it happened and stranded us, but the customer service we experienced completely turned the situation around for us and we are satisfied customers.
Suggest go else where for service.Jeep gave a need service message. Scheduled an appointment but they didnt get to my vehicle until a day and a half after appointment time.Service department said they couldnt reproduce and there was no code. Tried to call and talk to Service Manager but he was never available and did not return calls. Front line works were fine but has bad management. Does not care about customer. Will not go back here.
Had a wonderful experience here! Walked in with no appt. and not much in the means of financial help towards financing a car- Liam Steading was my salesman and was 20 starts out of 10 the whole time, he did everything in his power to accommodate my very thin line of availability towards financing a vehicle and in the end I ended up driving off the lot with one! If it wasn’t for this place or this wonderful salesman I would of lost my job and possibly much more- so Thank you to Edd Kirby Adventure and a incredibly big thank you to Liam Steading!!
I have had a wonderful experience with this dealership. My 2012 Traverses engine completely stopped and had to be towed in for service. I had the best serviceman, Abel. He was so kind to me and patient. It ended up being that the repair on my Traverse was almost double what I owed on it. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He was so fantastic and professional with me.He told me to come in, and wes see if I could trade my sad Traverse in and get a new car. I was paired with with a great salesman, Anibal who took great care of me and I walked out with a brand new, 2020 Pacifica. I would recommend this dealership and specifically these men, to anyone.
My previous experience with this dealership was absolutely horrible it took me four days to be able to get a deal that was suitable for me and my family. The most recent time was a lot better. The numbers were more accurate and it was actually worth my time. Liam did a great job.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. I recently went here to get my car serviced and not only did they do a terrible job, they left my car worse than before. They diagnosed my car and I told them it did not last longer than a few minutes before shutting off. They “ fixed “ the issue apparently but the next day, my car no longer started. The car has sensor problems so tell me why the car had hoses nowhere near the issues disconnected. Not only that, they put in cheap & wrong parts. I was charged a large sum just for my car to end up worse and have been tampered with areas that were not correlated. I highly recommend avoiding you get your car serviced here and HIGHLY, HIGHLY AVOID Jeff from services.
Tyler Tickle sold my mother a new Mitsubishi Outlander and she hasnt stopped talking about how nice he was to deal with. She is very happy so far with both the sales and finance staff with all the help they gave her. I felt they were very helpful as well and were able to satisfy all her questions. The process was rather smooth. Tyler and Meredith were very helpful. There was only one caveat that I was I was a little disappointed about was that I had actually found 2 other cars at the other dealership in Dalton and I was told I could not purchase from there without going there. Aside from that it was overall a good experience.
We took my Aunt Linda’s Silverado in this morning for its first oil change since she bought it from y’all a few months ago. The service department was clearly busy with multiple other vehicles and customers but Randy was quick to greet us, polite, and very informational. My aunt was a little confused on how to maintain her warranty that the salesperson told her about when buying the truck and Randy was able to explain it to her perfectly and he helped us to understand the benefits and purposes of doing regular services. He even took the time to go over a highlighted copy of her remaining factory warranty and answer all of her questions with a smile. Despite having a full waiting room this morning we were still able to get in and out in under an hour.Thank you guys and we will see you for our next service!!!

When I made the decision on the Journey, I contacted Adventure and Maria immediately made me feel important and provided me with great info and costumer appreciation. She texted with me for 2 straight days and answered all of my questions. Once I arrived at the dealership, Abdul took great care of me and made the purchasing very enjoyable. My fiance and I had thought we purchased a car from this dealership. I am currently on maternity leave and told them several times that I was on leave until April. They said no problem and let us DRIVE off the lot with the vehicle with reassurance that everything was great. Well come to find out it wasnt and they tried to get my fiance to get me to go back work early just so they could make a sale. And come to find out they had sold our car that we traded in before they knew the loan went through. Luckily we were able to get our car back. Long story short they strung us along and called us liars for no reason. Will not be giving my business to Edd kirby adventure ever again!!!

Amazing customer service! My family and I had to make an unplanned (and unexpected) stop at this dealership to check on our new vehicle while making our way from Wisconsin to Disney World. We showed up beyond stressed out as we still had 7.5 hours to drive. Even though they were short-staffed that day (and incredibly busy), they made it a priority to get us checked out. Haley and her colleagues had us pull right in and within 15 minutes had us back on road. I can thank them enough. Amazing, friendly customer service. I highly recommend!
My wife and I went in today with no expectations. Not the greatest of credit and was only hoping to refinance a car we already had. Not only were they awesome here, we walked out with a brand new Jeep Cherokee. I was very surprised and very happy. Good people and great atmosphere. Review on Parts and Service Department: Family of 4, headed back home to MI from a weekend in AL and our Dodge Ram 1500 decided to bust a ball joint. We took it here because unfortunately it was our only option. Told us theyd have it done today in time for us to be home to work tomorrow. The parts guy got the wrong part from OReillys 3 times and they all took lunch at the same time for an hour so had to stop work on our truck. So something that could have taken 3-4 hours took 6 hours. They also changed and charged us for roters which we didnt ask them to do. Cost us $860 for something we could have gotten done at another place for $400-$600. We will also be missing work, and kids will be missing school.

He answered any question i could think of and was very patient as i shopped for my new jeep. After i had finally made up my mind on what i wanted, we did the paperwork and sent it on to financing. Charles Nicholson was awesome today with the purchase of our 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. Super friendly and an all around honest, great guy. I highly recommend Charles Nicholson to anyone who is looking for a new or used car.Their sales may be great, but their service is awful. Once you’re able to get an appointment everyone is nice and the work is good, but for the last year I’ve had to take my vehicle somewhere else for an oil change because I can’t get anyone on the phone. And on their website where it gives you the option to schedule service actually doesn’t...just takes you to a blank page. When you call the service number, it automatically transfers you to voicemail to leave a message and they will call you back at their convenience. The problem with that is, I work third shift. I can only make calls and do business at certain times of the day. I can not wait around for them to call me back. I called one day for 20 minutes and when someone finally picked up the phone they transferred me to a voicemail when I told them I needed to schedule service. Unfortunately, they do a great job in the sales department, but I will never be taking my car to them for service again and actually will never buy another car from them again because of how their service department is.

I recently purchased my vehicle from Adventure Cars and had a great experience. It was very easy to deal with and my salesman was very straight forward. I specifically didnt want any surprises and I didnt get any at all when I purchased my vehicle. This dealership takes a different approach to the typical high pressure car sales with their customers. I purchased a car from this place in March of last year. The person who I dealt with was very nice and wanted to help me get into a car. The sales manager came in on our deal after we have discussed everything and he completely ruined the experience for me. He was entirely too pushy, rude and was not helping me at all. Once we went to fill out paper work he slipped in an outrageous extended warranty and told me the creditors would not give me the loan without it. I really wish I had stopped the deal there, because I was not happy at all with the way things where headed. I have since received a recall on my vehicle and I have tried to set up the maintenance for over 5 months. I was finally able to get the required maintenance scheduled. This place has left a bad taste in my mouth.

This team has one priority...genuine customer service!!! I was on my way to Nashville from Atlanta and my Suburban had a rattling panel near my window and I was at their mercy to fix it at whatever price because I had to be in Nashville quickly. The service manager grabbed some double sided tape, patched me up and told me that I would probably need to replace it when I got back home but he was sure that would last until I got home. He charged me exactly $0! He was kind, empathetic, gallant and courteous. I am not in the market for a car, but I would recommend this dealership based on my brief experience with their team. We traded in my husbands car and got a new Chevy Trax today. We have dealt with this dealership before when we bought our Sonics in 2014. The salesman Steve was fantastic! We bought our cars from Him! He let us test drive the Trax both my husband and I took turns we fell in love with the SUV! He furthur explained things about the car negotiated a great deal for including trading Jeffs Sonic. We then went to the finance manager and finished the sale. I was planning on buying a second vehicle when my first vehicle broke down and I was faced with a huge repair bill! I had to make a choice ... do I go for the new car? Maybe even 2? Or do I dump my money into this repair? My husband and I decided we should at least see what we could do. I spoke to Donnie King who arranged for someone to pick me up at the shop. They even let me use their computers to find and print all the documents they needed to get an approval. Let me tell you, Ive never had a vehicle in my name and both my husband and I have terrible credit, but Donnie King and the Adventure team were able to get me approved! While we waited for paperwork to finalize, they let me take the car to pick up my husband from work and we went out to lunch. They are a great bunch of people who are offering wonderful service and we honestly dont think we could have gotten a better deal anywhere else! I went to the dealership today to purchase a truck. I had made contact with the sale rep and he was very helpful. He did what he said he would do and sent me the information I requested. When I arrived I test drove the truck a 2015 2500 Z-71. The price was advertised on the website for the truck. When I did not show interest in their financing the price went up by $2000.00 plus dollars. Their in house financing is at 14.99%. they wanted me to use? (My credit was not pulled) I had been quoted a much better rate through the bank prior to going to the dealership. When I did not want that they asked me if I saw the disclaimer. Apparently about not honoring a posted price. I came home and read the ad again. I did not see where it said if you do not use our financing we will jack the price or crank you on a payment by charging a high interest rate.
My husband surprised me by bringing me into Edd Kirby Adventure Cars to look at a particular vehicle we found online. Not anticipating to buy since this is the first place we have looked, we were met by Brian Webb aka Patch and by far one of the best young men we have ran into. He made me personally felt at ease since I had not bought a vehicle in over 14 years. And, needless to say we drove away with no questions or worries in our new Hyundai Tucson. Great staff that we consider family...My Wife and I just got finished buying our 4th vehicle from Adventure. We live over an hour away and have many dealerships to choose from in our hometown but, our experiences at Adventure make it worth the travel for car buying and great service. We have worked with a different sales representative each time we purchased a vehicle and they have all been wonderful to work with. Caleb is our Service Advisor and makes every visit an enjoyable one. Rocco, Rick, Shaun, and Lisa are all very kind and wonderful to talk with during our visits. On 3 different occasions weve had to bring our vehicles in for accident repair. Jessica and Laura are great at understanding and catering to the inconvenience of being without a vehicle due to an accident. We were back in our cars quick and the quality of the paint and body work is unmeasurable! This is the second new car that I have purchased from Edd Kirbys. The sales staff are always exceptional. They are always friendly nice and willing to work with you anyway that they can. The whole purchase process is smooth. I highly recommend them if you are in the market to purchase a vehicle.
I bought a new vehicle from here about a year ago and when I bought the vehicle people were tripping over themselves trying to help me, I got phone calls from them every day until I made my decision to buy the vehicle and they did everything in their power to help me and were as nice as possible. Im here to tell you though once you sign the dotted line and your check clears thats the last you hear from anyone at this place. They could care less about helping you unless you are waving money at them. I had issues with my car when it was less than a year old and it was completely impossible to get anyone on the phone to talk to about warranties or repair. I could get the operator on the phone on the sales floor but thats as far as that would go, she would send me to the service department and no one will ever answer the phone there, it doesnt matter if you call 10 times in a row for an hour you wont get anyone. You can leave all the messages you want and no one will call you back, I left five messages through the course of dealing with this nonsense and none of them were ever returned. I even thought to myself, oh the salesman was friendly and helpful Ill talk to him to see if he can help get this straightened out. Not a chance, the sales floor operator said he was in his office and transferred me to his phone more than once and I left messages because he wouldnt answer the phone when I called and he wouldnt call me back either. The only time Ive been able to get anything done there is by going in person and forcing someone to deal with me. They offer a couple of complimentary oil changes and services when the car is new but take it from me its not worth it, they tried to charge me for a complimentary service and at one point when I had them take a look at something that was acting up they damaged my vehicle and denied it because I couldnt prove it wasnt already damaged before they took the car into their Bay. If youre going to live life on the edge and let them work on your vehicle anyway I suggest you walk around the entire vehicle taking pictures so after they damage it you can prove it was them.
I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 2 weeks ago from Edd Kirby. My salesman was Steve Cockburn. He did an amazing job organizing the purchase and the delivery. This was the most painless car buying experience EVER!! Did I mention that Im 300 miles away in MS??? I handled the entire purchase over the phone and Steve arranged delivery to me a couple of days later...in between ice storms. The ease of the purchase will bring me back to Steve and Edd Kirby, not to mention the GREAT deal I got on my Jeep. There was a lot of false information provided to me and contract wasn’t clear. I walked in with a pre-approval and let salesman know I only wanted my credit ran one time with that specific company that my approval was with. My credit was ran 4 times without permission. I was then told I could not use my offer I walked in with and was provided with 2 other options that was far out of my price range. When I inquired about finding another car in my price range I was told that I only qualify for the Jeep and nothing else. I also was told the warranty was apart of the deal but when I got home I saw I was charged an additional $2500. I’m so disappointed in my purchase. I have sent an email and every time I call I get transferred to full voicemails so I’m unable to leave a message. I just left a message for DJ with high hopes he calls me back with clarity.
Very excellent experience with this dealership! I would recommend anyone in the market for a car to give these guys a chance, they are a whole different retrospect from a traditional dealership. It was my first visit in this location, their car lot is much better than the one here in Chattanooga, I traveled from Chattanooga to this location looking for a vehicle, DJ their head manager assigned me to Steve Cockburn, this gentleman was very professional, helpful and welcoming during my time there. I will be returning hopefully soon.
Went to the dealership to just look at cars, we wasnt planning on buying today. Ran into a great salesman named Hollywood, friendly atmosphere & very helpful staff. Once we just started talking to Hollywood about the cars we knew we wanted to buy one from him. The process was easy and hassle free. Recommend anyone who needs a car to come here. Very dissatisfied with the service I received. I have tried to use Ed Kirby several times and usually end up disappointed. I took my 2015 Tahoe in to be serviced and asked if they could check why my text messages were no longer coming through. This happened once before and I took it in and was told it needed and update. This time I was told they dont do updates and that the technician connected to my car and it worked fine. No advice on how I should fix it. Got back to work looked it up on the internet and found out, when I-phones update you have to turn some notifications back on to receive the text through your vehicle. Seems like they should know something this simple and could have advised me on it. I am sure I am not the only one this happens to. And they didnt even bother to call me to let me know it was ready. Really they had it two days. Took same Tahoe in for squeaky noise that happens when you drive over a bump. I already knew what was wrong with the car when I took it in. They couldnt find anything wrong with it or hear any noise. Asked if the tech could ride with me in the car and wow. Then he heard it. It was the sway bar. They kept the Tahoe and fixed it. But then said The sway bar just broke when the tech pushed on it. And they didnt find that the first time!!!!
I had a great experience at Edd Kirby working with David Crowley. I had a million questions and he was very patient and always provided the answers I needed. Everyone I met, from the service team to the finance guy were very friendly and helpful. Liked the vehicles. But, was completely thrown for a loop when we were looking at a few trucks on Sunday and a VERY LOUD recording came over the loudspeaker telling us to leave immediately that we were trespassing on private property! WTC! Really doesnt make me feel welcomed. Especially when looking to drop 45,ooo+ for a new truck...........

Saying that Edd Kirby exceeded my expectations is an understatement; they went way beyond that. I got exceptional assistance from every associate I encountered. Starting with Steve Hazelwood, he worked effectively and deligently to make sure I got the car I wanted. I came into the lot wanting a Kia Soul and Steve made sure I got exactly my hearts desire. He ran his legs off to get the financing set up so I could drive it off the lot that day. He was a total rockstar and accomplished a lot for me in a short time. I got exactly what I wanted and Steve and the Sales Manager made it happen. A true blessing for me.Secondly, in just a short time after purchasing my Kia, the AC started blowing hot air. With the 90-100 degree weather, I couldnt take no AC. I made a call to the Service Center and they were able to see me that same day. Randy met me at my car and from that moment treated me like family. He told me they would get the Kia back to an ASE certified technician and see what was going on. It took a couple hours; however, they had an air conditioned waiting room I could relax in. The staff kept offering me cold water, coffee, or any drink. Every associate that walked by checked to make sure I was okay and comfortable. Thats exceptional assistance to me!!!Randy finally got back to me and let me know the mechanic found out I needed a new compressor, heater block, and couple other things that went with the air conditioning unit. He gave me an estimate and offered different options for payment. I went with some financing seeing as it was quite a bit money. Randy impressed me with his genuine desire to give me authentic customer service. It was going to take a day or two to fix, so he made sure he got me a loaner vehicle. The loaner vehicle made me feel like a princess getting in her carriage. He didnt want me to not have a way to get around. He was very accommodating and I am 100% appreciative. After 24 hours, Randy was calling me to tell me my Kia was ready. The technician had made sure my Kia was fixed with factory specific parts. The AC was colder than ever. *Woot woot*I They provided fast and efficient service and it made me very happy. 😀😀😀When it came to getting my car fixed they are awesome.Steve, Randy, the service department, the sales department, and management definitely personified phenomenal customer service. I left with tears in my eyes because I felt like I was family and not just a customer. I recommend them for all your service needs. I recommend them for your next vehicle purchase. Edd Kirby definitely is a dealer you can trust. Id give them 10 🌟stars🌟 if I could.
Found the car I wanted at this dealership, but it was almost 5 hours from my home. Not a problem for Edd Kirbys Donnie King! He gave us all the info we needed, took the car to a friend nearby so he could test drive for us, worked with us on financing, and had drivers meet us halfway for pickup! I love the no-haggle pricing! Never had an easier time buying a car! Thanks, Donnie King and Edd Kirbys for such a great experience!
I came in for an oil change and dropped my car off a few minutes earlier than my appointment was scheduled. I needed to wait for it due to not having a ride so I had brought my lunch. The waiting area was fully equipped with fresh coffee, comfortable seating and a television, as well as wi-fi access. My car was done within a reasonable amount of time and at a good price. The service team are always polite and professional and I have never had any complaints.
Buying a car from this place was easily the worst car buying experience I have ever had in my life. I purchased a 2013 Ford Expedition. Maria Gomez was my sales agent. The process of buying the vehicle was painfully slow. When I finally had the vehicle purchased and drove it home, the very next day it began to have problems. Windows getting stuck open, latches breaking, ect....there were also huge scratches that had been covered over with some type of temporary paint or polish. In addition to that they charged me for tax, tag and title fees and never sent me my tag!!!! I am still trying to get this straightened out with them and have been trying to for over a month now. The tag and title department for their dealership wont return my calls. The Manager wont return my calls. The sales representative is telling me to take a day off of work and go to the local government office and straighten it out myself.This is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. Now Ive got an expired tag with no replacement on the way, a car with things breaking in it and will likely get a ticket I will have to pay as well for my expired temporary tag. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody. They are unprofessional, sell cars with hidden problems and will not help you to straighten out their mistakes. Buy from somewhere else so that you dont have to go through what my family is presently going through and you will be much happier!
Just want to say how exceptional DJ and Haley both were! Not only did DJ say what he would do he done just that! Got me into exactly what I wanted ! Haley practically ran her tail off to make my experience fast and even while doing paper work helped out with my little guy by offering her amazing donuts and offering him puzzles to keep him busy! I have made amazing post about her as well as DJ all over social media , when I say those 2 are amazing workers I mean that! They are the best! One happy jeep owner here!
I had gone to few other dealerships within the last week or so, and by far the best experience I had was here. I went in yesterday thinking Id look around and just get a feel for the market on a used car. I spoke with David Crowley and he showed me a few cars that I thought were within my price range. After talking for a bit, he showed me a 2015 Chevy Spark - pretty cool little car, but it just didnt feel like me. Thats when Mr. Crowley showed me some numbers for a 2015 Chevy Sonic and showed me a few options (hatchback versus sedan, etc). We worked out a deal with the finance department, and I picked my NEW car up this morning. Mr. Crowley made it a point to come in early this morning, on his day off, to make sure I was set-up with my car and familiar with all the cool features I hope I never need (like On-Star).If youre looking for a laid-back atmosphere but still want to get stuff done, check them out.They also have a parrot :)
Hands down the best place!! I had went to so many dealerships they were still not willing to work within my budget or wanted me to put more down. Went to this place as a last resort and it should of been my first! They took care of me so well found a car in my budget and gave me the payments I wanted! So thankful for these guys helping me and getting me in my new car !
This is an awesome place with awesome people. My salesman was John Rhodes and he was very kind, helpful and respectful. We worked out an awesome deal and I could not be more pleased. I came from Woodstock and it was well worth the drive. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone.

2022-03-30Went to Edd Kirby’s Adventure Cars in downtown Chattanooga yesterday, 03/29/2022, so my daughter could get an oil change. My daughter wanted to look at other vehicles while we were there. I told her fine, but we weren’t getting anything. Leighann took us out to look at vehicles, and guess who ended up buying a new car. You got it, me! Leighann was great! When I decided I wanted to try for the new Mitsubishi Outlander Leighann did everything she could to help me get approved. When I was approved and I couldn’t afford the payment, Leighann helped me find another vehicle I liked and I was able to get that. Leighann even helped me trade in my current vehicle as a down payment option! Leighann didn’t push me to buy a vehicle, but she did offer help and advice when I had a question. I would highly recommend going to this location, and ask for Leighann if you want someone who will help and not push!!!

2022-05-18Took my Dodge in for service today. The dealership I purchased my car from (in another state) didn’t correctly put the prepaid oil change plan into the records. Caleb helped resolve the issue, and was very helpful through the whole thing. He has earned me as a repeat customer! The waiting area was nice and the oil change was quick.

Dealt with Eric who is a very nice gentleman. Going to leave this till they fix it and do the right thing. I’m glad there are still decent people in this world and he’s going to fix our $37.000 truck for us.Back story we bought a truck 2 months ago that broke down on the way home. They assured us it would be taken care of. 2 months later it’s still not fixed properly and we’re being sent on our way with a truck that’s messed up.

2022-06-23I was very disappointed to learn that my car needed expensive repairs. However, I was seen on the same day that I showed up to the service department. My service contact, Caleb Phillips, is outstanding. He is always kind and knowledgeable. He is very patient with me an explains everything, He never orders work done until he fully explains and I approve. He is great at his job and I appreciate him so much.

2022-01-30We had been a few other places trying to find a car to fit our needs and was turned down so we decided to try one last time and chose to visit Edd Kirby’s and I’m so glad we did. Meredith was our sales lady and she done amazing at listening to what we were looking for to fit our needs and she got us in an amazing Dodge Durango. We are so pleased with our purchase and highly recommend Edd Kirby’s downtown Chattanooga.

2022-03-31Took my truck in after. Check engine light came on , Rick the service manager called me back with the code and explained what it could be and what the options were for each one . And he would let me know After they explored the issue further. He called me back the same day and told me it as just the solenoid bank and the transmission was fine he ordered the part. It was there the next day and the job finished the next . Rick. Went out his way to keep me in the loop since I was concerned it was the transmission. I appreciate Rick for his follow thru . I recommend the service department for anything you need done .

2022-02-08Another Dealer that not only doesnt honor GM Employee pricing, but also has $4,000-$5,000 in unwanted add-ons they force you to get with your purchase. On top of this, they also charge extra for an In-Stock fee...absolutely insane. These dealers are completely taking advantage of the current market and sadly in 1-3yrs anyone that buys a vehicle at these prices will be several grand in the negative.A vehicle with an MSRP of $48,675 is being sold for $58,000. You would be driving off the lot being upside down by $10,000-$15,000 instantly. Buyer Beware!!!*** Update Per Owner Response ***Yes, I was inquiring about a Blazer RS on your lot and worked with your sales rep over the phone. You will definitely not have record of me coming into the dealership, because as soon as I heard you are attempting to sell a DEMO blazer that the owner is currently driving for $58,000 I couldnt run fast enough. The MSRP on that vehicle is $48,000.You seem to be misinformed, GM will NEVER restrict GM Employee pricing as it is at dealer discretion. I have been a corporate GM employee for almost 10yrs and familiar with the rules/restrictions.I can respect not honoring GM Employee pricing alone, however once you force dealer add-ons of over $4,000 that is VERY poor business practice. Sadly, it will take dealers a few months to realize this tactic is not good for sales.So customers have 6 months to see if they made a horrible purchase decision by paying $4,000-$8,000 over MSRP.?. Is that in writing for the customers when they purchase. Seems like another horrible business practice and most likely a bogus sales pitch to con customers into paying thousands of dollars over MSRP.Again...BUYER BEWARE!!!

2022-04-01I’m aware that this will more than likely not make a difference, however I’m going to be honest with you. I brought my 2021 Silverado to you with an evap emissions leak. Dropped it off the evening before for an 0800 appointment the next morning. After not hearing anything from the dealership I decided to call at 1600 and again at 1630 with no answers and left 2 voicemails. I called back at 0930 the following morning and finally got someone on the phone who informed me of the issues with my truck, that a part was ordered and it would be approx 3-5 days shipping time to recover part. I understand shipping times are not under yalls control, but the communication with customers is. That’s a brand new, 60k$ truck that’s having an issue and I didn’t hear a peep out of anyone. It wasn’t until I pushed needing a vehicle to get to and from work that the issue miraculously was “fixed” within 3 hours and ready to pick up. Check engine light was off Thursday afternoon when I picked it up however it came back on again 3 days later (Sunday) with the same issue. I expect better out of a Chevy dealership…
