The property is nice. I would have given 5 stars but some of the staff was not so friendly. I had issues with breakfast staff everyday of my stay. I am a diabetic and requested sugar free syrup. The first staff member spoke no English so she could not understand my needs. After asking multiple staff members I was told they do not carry sugar free syrup. Ok no biggie. Why did I have to ask so many people though. It was a simple question. The next morning I asked the server for bacon. I asked for crispy pieces. I was told all the bacon is exactly the same. The staff member then proceeded to try to give me raw bacon. I told her I didnt want that. She refused to cook it. Or to look for crispy pieces. Not good at all. Also I have a 3 year old and here was not a straw to be found anywhere for her drink. The cost to stay here is very high. I should not be running into these issues.
This has been the worst Hilton stay I have ever experienced. My wife and I normally book our trips through her Hilton honors. This trip was a valentines surprise for my wife, so I had to create my own account to insure that she was surprised. Upon arrival, we checked in via the concierge desk. That process took 20 to 30 minutes even though there wasnt a line. We were never offered help with our bags, nor were we even offered a cart. No one explained any of the accommodations or amenities included in our stay.Once in the room we discovered that the mini fridge was warmer than the cold water in our shower, and ac was whistling from the vent. We notified the front desk of these problems, and someone did arrive promptly. The hotel engineer advised our water temp was around 90 degrees not the 120 degrees mandated by Georgia Code. He advised he would attempt to adjust the temperature. Whatever he did, did not work. The water was so cold my wife and I had to travel home before we could shower. The mini fridge did cool off, but shortly returned to hot. Fortunately we were able to use the sink filled with ice as a make shift cooler. When we attempted to order dinner, the person on the phone advised we could not place an order over the phone, and that if we did place an order no one would bring said order to our room because they were too busy. She stated that we would have to come down to the lobby to order, and either wait or return to the lobby once the order was ready for pick up. At that time my wife and I were forced to leave our room just to get dinner.Once downstairs we sat at the bar and ordered. We asked the bartender how long the wait would be for food. We were advised 20 minutes. We placed our order and sat at the bar and waited. After an hour of waiting, I asked the bartender to check on our food. At that time, I watched as she walked over to the computer, input some data, printed a ticket, before walking it to the back. 20 minutes later our food arrived. After dinner we discussed leaving the property due to these issues, but decided to make the most of our night away from home. Around 10 pm, the room next to us began to party. Music, loud voices, and lots of commotion. The noise was loud enough to wake us from our sleep. Not being from this area, we decided not to complain in fear of retaliation from the party next door. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. We paid for a premium suite and did not even have the privilege of taking a hot shower, or enjoy a cold bottle of water.
Bathroom cleaning should be improved. The shower was cold because the hot water only releases luke warm water. The guests next door were loud and violent. They called the police on them and still let them back next to my room without any explanation, apologies or effort to address my inconvenience. Highly disappointed is an understatement 🙄
Use to stay there multiple times a year for business. They overcharged the last stay and the Charge on my card did not match my receipt. Called Hilton Corporate and they could see the over charge, but the local hotel needed to process the refund. When I called the location to ask for a refund the manager I spoke to was very rude and was willing to fix the overcharge. She said I should just depute it with my CC company. My money can go to a different hotel from now on.
First time since I visited your hotel felt threatened by mob of youths in the pool dirty and eating and wilding .me and my two children of 7/&10 left did not feel secure .all knight there was shouting and running and knocking on doors and running. Normally it’s a pleasant stay
Update: I checked out today and the “Manager” Salonge (Not sure if I spelled that correctly). She had a very nonchalant apology. I took it with a grain of salt. She began interrogating me about why I called corporate and said Carlos was rude. First of all, I said he was dismissive not rude. Secondly, I found out from other workers that they are having an issue with the hot water and was giving a 30% off. I asked her... if you all knew there was a hot water problem why did you not tell us when we checked in. I also said I was not offered a discount when I checked out yesterday. Why? She said they will talk with Him (the front desk guy) about why. I know why!I have been coming here almost every other weekend and have NEVER complained. This weekend from the new manager Salage and Carlos. It was a HORRIBLE time.I hope the Richard or the owners (if a franchise) looks into these issues and addresses then right away!
Although the staff was friendly, the staff failed to meet basic expectations, like sending the engineer/maintenance worker to the correct room to ensure strangers do not just walk into someones room uninvited. The staff should be dependable and should be found keeping their word. The gentlemen at the front desk said I would receive points for my misfortune and that he would follow up with a call to me. He never followed up with me. The restaurant was advertised as hotel dining is availble. However, dining was not available all day. It was only open for dinner. Common areas didnt have any signs indicating masking protocols in place. Patrons were able to walk around freely without a mask.
Beautiful, stylish, and comfortable hotel. We only slept there for 4 1/2 hours due to an early morning baseball event, but the beds were very cozy. Seems to be a very nice place to stay. Wish we could have stayed for two or more days because the hotel was very nice looking, and if you stay on the premium floor the room is quite luxurious. They even provide snacks. Highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful, clean, perfectly located hotel! Allison in the bar is terrific. Room was spacious, well equipped, and rather swanky. Modern hotel with great bar and restaurant. Shauna l, the restaurant mgr is great too. Breakfast made to order. So much better than typical hotels in the area. We will stay here every time we are in the area!!
Positive: The size of the room was wonderful, the staff that I had interactions with were great! Food and beverage at breakfast was good. Negative: I did not like that there was no one to clean my room. I had to go downstairs for a garbage bag and the front desk guy had to bring us fresh towels. I stayed in a hotel because I wanted the hotel experience, like someone to clean the tub and make the bed.
Watch out for rate changes at this property. I booked for a Monday and Tuesday night, Tuesday night rate was $80 higher. Spoke to the manager and he had no explanation and agreed it was unusual, but was not willing to compensate me for the difference. I am a Hilton Diamond Member and stay at Hilton properties exclusively, very disappointed with this property and the managers unwillingness to correct this.
My wife and I had an excellent experience here. It was priced very competitively for the area. At the price we paid, we would either be further from Sugarloaf or missing out on amenities that Embassy Suites offered. The breakfast was very good and some items were cooked to order. We vought the King Suite and had plenty of room. The bathroom and rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable.A highlight for us was the daily happy hour with two free drinks and plenty of free snacks. The bartender was a real delight to talk with, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxed. We recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the neighborhood!
Beautiful new hotel! Lobby is open and modern, very welcoming. Breakfast staff very friendly and personable (even with kiddos).Pool area clean and inviting. Clean laundry and workout room. Our suite was very nice! Kitchenette area just the right size, leads into a relaxing living room space. The bedroom was cozy and roomy. Lots of space to feel at home! Slept 5 very comfortable! Definitely will return as needed!
Do not book this hotel, there is no running hot water, instead of fixing or compensating they have attitude, not even apologize !!!!! Be careful they dont inform you when you book hotel or check in !!!!!! Also front desk mentioned fixing in progress and next day same issue. Be aware...dont believe.....
The bar at this Embassy Suites needs a lot of work. The bartender that was there on the evening of 1/22/22 was inattentive. There was only 6 other people at 9:30pm and we sat for 15 minutes and was never acknowledged. We left and got snacks from the machines. Told the desk clerk and he was just as bad!!!
The Hotel and room were as expected. My check in process was the issue. I was issued a room but when I got there it was already occupied. I went back down and they had already given away the room I reserved and they didnt have anymore like it. They refunded some of my money and gave me a similar room.
I was very impressed when I entered the Hotel the staff greeted me with a smile, the staff was in uniform clean and sharpe like they take pride in their appearance. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff went over and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and went out the way for some of my minor silly request. There are 3 elevators so even on a sold out night I didn’t have to wait on a elevator. The digital key was very convenient, the rooms was clean thoroughly you can tell it wasn’t swift over but really cleaned. The beds are like clouds I slept amazing. The breakfast was good served hot actually to hot I had to blow my food. The condiments was well stocked, the staff kept asking was I good I liked that they are attentive, the evening reception was fun drinks are strong not water down and the light refreshments was a variety to choose from. The pool was clean you can smell the chlorine, large towels was provided. The business area was fast internet, the gym was clean and all the equipment was working and the equipment is all up to date equipment not outdated equipment. The Lobby restroom was cleaned and smelled clean and they provided sanitary items for the lady’s for when it’s that time of the month. Thanks Embassy Suites signed✍🏼 Happy customer
This embassy suite location is outstanding. It is close to restaurants and close to the highway. It is one of the best embassy suites we have stayed. You will enjoy the ambience of the hotel the location and the staff. They even went the extra step to have air filters machines in each rooms to ensure everyone was safe.
Excellent hotel, very modern. Rooms have Air Purifier and Humidifiers. Very nice setup. Hotel staff extremely nice and professional. Safe area in North Atlanta with tons of restaurant options with great access to Gwinnett and I-285 to get around Atlanta but not stay down-town. Follow Satellite Ave in either direction and avoid busy interstates. Excellent Hotel.
Awesome, clean with great breakfast and happy hour.A special acknowledgement goes to Kinesse and Andrea who were just awesome front desk support each day.Seeing there smiling faces and weird of encouragement while we waited for our home to be repaired due to flood damage was just awesome. We really felt welcomed and respected during our 8 day stay!
I stay here at the Embassy Suites every time I visit and this hotel is immaculate. They are very attentive to their guest needs, very clean and the cooked to order breakfast is an added bonus. My family loves the pool area and the reception wind down at the bar makes the stay even more grand. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
The room was clean free breakfast is better than most hotels my biggest complaint was 5 days and 4 nights no room cleaning or bed sheets changed even when I requested it so dont expect to have good housekeeping services. There was also a smell of Weed on my floor and there is no security for the hotel. They must have issues as I had to sign a document that I was not going to have a party in my room this was a first. I saw people eating the free breakfast and I know they were not staying at the hotel I saw them drive up eat and leave. When I complained about the smell of weed the front desk person stated she does not make enough money to find out what room its coming from and she its correct she does not. Get security and get some housekeeping. There is also construction behind the hotel so be prepared to hear the beeping sound of the construction equipment during your stay if your not facing the front of the hotel. The staff was polite no on was ever rude but they are using COVID to reduce services. I would give them a better rating but no one ever followed up with us during our visit after the complaints. It does not cost a hotel $$ to check in on their guests. I live in Orlando we know the importance of guest satisfaction not only in our city but our hotels.
Excellent rooms, very clean, very nice. My only complaint is that i was not asked if i was an AAA member, or affiliated with any other establishment to which i couldve recieved 15% off of my $326.92 bill. Sure wouldve been nice! Make sure to ask about discounts because they will not ASK YOU!!
Decent hotel convenient to infinite energy center, can walk up hill to it and now worry about parking. Hot water for shower was not very hot, which is unacceptable. Not sure if there was a problem with heater or they think they are saving the environment by having luke-warm hot water.
Atmosphere is okay, had the Spicy herb fried chicken. The dark pieces were good and juicy, the white meat was overcooked, very dry. The chicken wasnt golden brown, it was was burnt, tasted like the cooking oil needed changing. Tea was absolutely syrupy sweet (not good). The server acting like he was tried and didnt want to be at work. This isnt my first time at Copelands, previous occasions the service, drinks and meal was phenomenal.
It was a nice hotel but restaurant staff were rude to me and my guest I was looked at several times by the front desk staff and other people that work there in a way like why am I there because I’m black meaning I will never return my refrigerator didn’t work either I paid a lot to be so uncomfortable I stayed in my room or I left my room all day till the evening
Loved it!!! We got a suite for our family of four. We had a bedroom and a living-room open concept with a mini-kitchen and mini-dining/work area. We had a small fridge, microwave, two kitchen cabinets...Just perfect for us❤😄! Great breakfast too. Housekeeping as requested.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED👍🏾🥰!
The hotel itself is new and very modern and I found during my one night stay to be very quiet. Unfortunately, I was triple billed for a one night stay and have now had to decline the charges on my credit card because no one at the hotel will return my phone call. I have been placed into voicemail of SOLANGE twice and told that she would call me back and the situation has not been resolved. For this reason I do not recommend this hotel Unless you enjoy the billing nightmare that I have encountered.
Wonderful hotel ! The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff was friendly. The evening reception was nice. The reception food was narrowed down due to the Coronavirus, which is understandable. The drinks were great! I definitely recommend this hotel.
I do not recommend you stay here. I was charged $ 411.98 for a room with a broken toilet. Even when maintenance tried to fix it. It still did not work. Front desk was rude and did nothing. They would not even lower my rate for the inconvenience. I was told a manager would call me on Monday. It is Tuesday and still no call.
Great location, clean room, professional staff at front desk (smiled, was pleasant), comfortable bed. The restaurant needs more experienced staff, though. There was just one guy working the night we were there and he struggled with just the two occupied tables. He was pleasant, though.
Positive: The layout of the room was great. Their free breakfast was fine and the evening cocktail receptions were nice. Negative: Room service only came once in the 4 days I was there. The drain on the sink was broken, a light fixture was broken, I had to call everyday to get more toilet paper, the fridge was broken and had to be replaced, the water pressure was bad.
Oh, and then housekeeping had the nerve to knock on the door at 9:30 am... what the? I put do not disturb sign up then called downstairs to find out check-out time... 11am, I asked for noon, she said all they could do is 11:30. Bottom line we need more upscale hotel competition in Gwinnett.
The cookies at happy hour are the best cookies I’ve ever eaten and I don’t even care for oatmeal raisin. I bake and they’re better than mine.Cookies aside, the Embassy Suites typically focuses on the lobby and less so on guests rooms. My room is spectacular. It’s the nicest room I’ve ever booked. The glass shower is spotless. I really enjoyed the white noise aroma therapy machine. The lobby is spectacular as always. There is a wall of water and living plants. The bartender and manager went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They were very accommodating. The breakfast is even better than your typical embassy suites. A huge selection of fresh fruit was offered and Otis Spunkenmyer muffins in addition to the normal items. The (only and small) con: the pool is open (YAY!!!) The sounds bounce off the walls LOUDLY with even two kids in the pool.
I really hate to rate this nice hotel this low. The head cook just ruined my weekend by turning the light off on my kids during breakfast. We asked her to turn the light on because we just got severed and were the last in line. We were almost done making are drinks. She replied breakfast is over and walked back into the kitchen. So much for hospitality !
Pretty hotel. Evening reception and restaurant fantastic. The bartenders were personable and professional. A little mold in the shower and a few strands of hair on the sheets. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me-- so improvements can be made there. The indoor pool was nice and warm.
Positive: The suite roomy & clean. Negative: There was 1 or 2 servers for breakfast! One guy moved like a turtle and you could tell he didnt want to be there. No made to order omelets all weekend! So disappointing! Snacks during happy hour were a joke. Ill never stay here again. So overpriced!!!!!
Positive: Decor, location. Negative: Was a staycation. Checked into room- was dirty, the Mgr. Told me someone would come up and clean, I said no I want a new, clean room. No product in hand sanitizer machine on at least 2 floors. Called for room service, was told I needed to go down to get.
This hotel is pretty and nice, but management is lacking. The happy hour would have been really cool if you could actually get a drink. Despite the hotel being completely sold old management did not anticipate needing additional staff and there was only 1 bartender/ food server for the entire lobby and restaurant that was packed. We felt bad for the bartender who was making drinks and tried to bus tables for her because there were glasses and other dishes all over every table. The cook, Darren, I believe, finally noticed how slammed she was and came to the front to help make drinks, etc. of his own accord. We would wait in line forever to get cocktails and felt bad because the bartender was missing out on so many tips because she would have to go to the back to pick up and deliver food. She just kept apologizing. While all this craziness was going on, the manager Mrs. Tejada, never pitched in to help. Instead, she took the time to go to the pool area and yell at some other patrons because they had brought some UNOPENED snack bags to the pool from the lobby and were just holding on to them to take to the room later. Then she started yelling at them because there was a glass on a table nearby and she berated them for having glassware in the pool area. They tried to no avail to tell her it was not their glass, but had been left by someone else. A bit later some of our kids came into the lobby with towels from the pool wrapped around them and she yelled at them for taking the towels and for not having shoes on. Mind you, the two lobby workers are STILL working themselves to death trying to clear tables, fill drink orders, and serve food. She NEVER lifted a finger to help them in any way and instead decided to be the towel/shoe/glass/snack gestapo. It was unbelievable. And from the moment we checked in until we left the hotel wreaked of pot. It was in the hallway, the elevator, and all of our rooms. We swore someone was smoking in the ventilation. So that was all ok, but her focus was on monitoring the towels the kids took from the pool area?!?!?The entire hotel was booked with people from our tournament that weekend, so the next morning I told the front desk that the exact same group would be back at happy hour in the lobby that night and warned that they may want to bring in extra staff. They didn’t. Same nightmare that night. Same long wait to get a cocktail that is supposed to be what draws you to their hotel. We have stayed at plenty of Embassy Suites but they even messed up the breakfast!! It was just a buffet, but we stood in line for 25 minutes waiting for food at 10:00am. We thought if the main morning rush was gone it would be faster. No. We just stood there. There weren’t even that many people in line. There was just one guy trying to prepare and serve EVERYTHING! This hotel has a serious lack of staff and I will give a huge shout out to the staff that was working because they never stopped. Perhaps if the manager could worry a little less about the pool and towel placement and focus more on staffing the hotel appropriately and stopping the chronic consumption we might come back. As of now, our organization will NEVER be back to this hotel!
Room was nice. Two queen suite with living area separate. Upon first glance it seemed very clean - but once we started using the bathroom there were long hairs from a previous guest around the shower and on the floor by the toilet. There was also a slim jim under our bed not from us... Pool was not a temperature in which you would want to even swim. Breakfest which is advertised as cook to order is not cook to order. Only omlettes and only during the week. Breakfest looked appetizing but was completely cold and not good. For 300.00 total a night I would expect a lot better.
Super nice hotel and room! Worst sleep of my life, and Im in the military, have literally had better sleep while on mission laying on the ground. Beds were terrible. You think that nice of a hotel for that amount of money there would be adjustable beds. Loved everything else about it, great location, had a pool, super cool bar area. Then as we go to leave the lady at the front counter was about useless and rude as could be, but what do you expect from hospitality service, oh yeah, hospitality. Definitely wont be back here!
Outside of it being a new hotel service was average. Upon checking in I didnt receive my welcome gift, wasnt made aware of happy hour, breakfast times, or check out. Only one bartender last night made a difficult happy (customer)hour. The rooms are very clean and spacious. 1st stay at Hilton property that had 11;00am check out.
My stay has not ended, but I felt compelled to write this review. I chose this hotel because of my multiple experiences with this brand. The Embassy Suites brand is known for its made-to-order breakfast, mostly spacious rooms, and professional staff. This property did not hit the mark. First, when I inquired at check-in about a modification to breakfast due to COVID per the Hilton website, I was advised that my favorite part of the breakfast (the omelette) was not available on weekends. I was disappointed, but not upset. Those on duty at that time were apologetic. My biggest concern came when I requested a late check out, which is one of the Hilton Honors (HH) benefits. Imagine my surprise when I was advised multiple times that management was not permitting those benefits to anyone. When I asked how I was supposed to know that the expected benefit would not be available, the front desk clerk stated she didnt know. In my opinion, check-in would have been the appropriate time. I was shocked to learn that managers can unilaterally decide when and where to extend HHs benefits. So before you book make certain those HHs benefits will actually be honored or maybe choose to spend that $200 a night somewhere that actually honors the benefits promised to those who took the time to become a member.
I am currently in the hotel with my three children. I asked for three blankets for the kids. Andrea at the desk stated, that they only had the blanket that was in the room to spare. I do not believe. The night clerk did not try to accommodate my family needs. I stayed in Embassy Suite last week in St. Augustine, Fla. all of the accommodations were outstanding. It’s sad, that hotel allowed three kids to sleep uncomfortable due to an employee made a decision for Embassy Suite. I would like a call from district office and I want to know the policy on given out extra linen to guest. Especially, during COVID-19.
Went here for a family reunion. The hotel surpassed my expectation from the room, pool, outside sitting area, complimentary breakfast and nightly reception to the individual sitting areas with TVs. The staff was very helpful and polite. The children had loads of fun sitting watching TV while the adults enjoyed the nightly reception. The old saying of you get what you paid for is definitely the truth, plus more. I would definitely stay there again and encourage my friends to stay as well. Keep up the good work.
I visited this hotel for a 3 day training event. The hotel staff was always nice and the facility was clean. They offered a free breakfast bar and the food was good and there was a great variety of food. The training room was a nice size and it was clean and refreshing. I will definitely recommend the Embassy Suites to my friends and family.
The hotel is beautiful, ambience is nice, overall seems to be a clean hotel. However, customer service is horrible from the front desk! The housekeepers and the food servers were pleasant. The front desk on the other hand was honestly very disappointing! Ive work in the hospitality industry for many years so I try to give chances because I understand sometimes you may just be having a bad day.I spoke with Kendra at the front desk before arriving and asked for a early check in. She told me to checkin through my hilton honors app and that if they were to have anything ready it would be around 1 oclock that afternoon. My husband called at 12:55pm and asked if anything came available, she became disrespectful with her tone and verbiage. At that point I was ready to cancel but I did not want to pay a cancellation fee, so we decided to take the high road and talk with her face to face and apologize if we came off any type of way that caused her to be defensive. She continued to be disrespectful and even said If yall got a problem with me then yall can take it up with the next manager!Very unprofessional and off putting! In an industry that revolves around customer service, I expect better.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The rooms were almost sanitized, I couldn’t find a spec of dust or dirt anywhere and I am very particular. The staff was great especially the ladies that cook the breakfast (I believe their names were Kris and Damaris). I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.
First of all, this is the best Embassy Suites that we have stayed at. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was excellent. We had our July 2019 family reunion here. The outside courtyard was off the chain. We didnt disturb any of the customers that stayed at the hotel. The weather was great. The banquet room was great and the buffet was great and too much to eat. Our coordinator, Jessica was great in helping our stay superb. I would highly recommend this hotel to any customers.
This is one of the most expensive hotels in town. So I expected more. It started with cleaning noise from the room next to us. The cleaning person kept banging the connected door so we could not relax. Then, 2am fire alarm TWICE. false morning alarm at 6am (call and alarm clock that I never set up. I guess they never reset the setting from the previous customer) Also, I thought I booked the 2 room suite and asked the front when I checked in, she was not very nice but little rude telling me that I booked studio suite. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros: Beautiful hotel, lobby and rooms. It was clean! Also, very comfortable. I would definitely stay again. They have a complimentary evening service with finger foods and drinks. There is a complimentary full service breakfast with plenty of seating.Cons: I did not have a good experience when I called the day before check in with a question. I felt like I was imposing on the customer service rep. The same thing happened when I checked in at the hotel and at breakfast. I personally did not feel any of the staff was friendly or helpful. That is the reason I didn’t give five stars.
My room was extremely nice, the hotel had on-site fresh breakfast that was excellent. Their customer service was terrible! Several of the ladies at the desk were down right rude. They became offensive if asked a question. One young lady literally huffed at me and pouted like a three year old when I asked for towels. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. Embassy, please hire nice people to represent you on the frontlines!
Very impressed!! We had a suite that was immaculate!! It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was also nice. I do wish you had a hot tub. I must say the breakfast was spectacular! It was one of the best selections I have seen in a while and we travel often. Great job Embassy Suites! Of all the different hotels we stayed at on our vacation, yours was our favorite!
During the two weeks that my family stayed here (end of March, beginning of April), the hospitality and friendliness were amazing. Particularly, Chief Engineer Mohammed, Jessica (lead sales), Hannah (front desk), Assistant General Manager (apologies, but didnt get to ask for her name) were extremely generous during our time. They deserve the best. The housekeeping employees were extremely friendly and always greeted us with smiles. They also deserve the best. The hotel is extremely nice, with amazing food, clean bathroom, bedroom, nice living room area, and a great view.10/10.
Rooms looked much nicer in pictures. Bed linens had fishy smell. Not enough linens on bed, very thin. Lobby was nice, missed complimentary cocktail hour I didnt know about, and staff seemed nice enough. Parking was packed but I found space in the back so good they have a big lot. Overall, I think youd do better elsewhere for less money without Hiltons name
Charged me a higher rate than what was currently available, and what I originally booked it for, never once asked or took any interest other than to check me in as quickly as possible, I expect much better from Embassy, every other one has always been above excellent in customer service when checking in.
Loved this Hotel! Check in was smooth! The suite was perfect! Just right amount of space and privacy with my husband and ai and pull out gif our daughter! We brought the Nee years in with our older sons and their girlfriends! I do think they should keep some plates and silverware under neath sink in cabinet! But anyway, the rooms decorations is Fabulous! The mirror and the wall paper is Glamorous! And the shower was wonderful! To top it off the breakfast I’m still thinking about it! I have been to plenty of hotels, and resorts, and this breakfast was awesome! The seating in lobby is a stylish chic atmosphere and the bar, with complimentary evenings is just the perfect touch! And one last thing, the modern fire pit outside surround by comfy couches is great! I look forward to coming here again and would definitely tell everyone about this hotel! Please check on the pool to be cleaned nightly 😉
This is my 2nd time staying here when visiting GA. 2nd time was just disappointing! When we pulled the sofa bed out, we saw they just hid their dirty cushions by flipping them over. Its gross! And in the morning, I wanted to make a cup of coffee....the keurig started to leak everywhere. The bottom piece was missing! I notified front desk & they said itll be replaced. Nope! Did not happen. And the shower....the drain is so clogged! I was confused for a moment, thought I was taking a bath. For a prestige hotel in a premium paid room, I expected better. Smh
We went to Atlanta for my sisters funeral 😔. One of the hardest things ever. The stay here was nothing short of amazing. Room was extremely clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. I slept well. The breakfast was delicious 😋. I would definitely recommend Embassy Suites to everyone.
Friendly staff waiting on and providing your every need. Evening reception is a good place to have drinks and converse with other guest. Rooms are clean. I liked how you can purchase a scent for the room. Breakfast is excellent and Frankies Steakhouse is right around the corner.
I went through a lot to find this place and Im sooo glad I did not give up on finding what I was looking for. Nice clean large rooms/suites, hot breakfast, indoor heated pool, evening social, outdoor fire pit and water fountain, open restaurant. I will be back indeed! Im waiting to hear back from management on the broken beer bottle glass I stepped on during my morning swim. I was disappointed that I didnt even get an apology, they just gave me an incident report form but I still havent heard anything from anyone. I will still be back.
So many places to sit, relax, and eat at the front of the hotel. A nice bar area with everything you could want. Breakfast was so extensive, with every food option you could imagine. We stayed in a king suite with a pull-out sofa. The pull-out was the most comfortable we’ve had in a very long time. The sheets on the bed, though, were very thick so you either have to sleep with only a light sheet or all of the sheets which is heavy and hot. Didn’t use pool or fitness center so can’t review on those. Favorite quality overall: gun friendly. Manager explained their firearms policy to me clearly, which most hotels can’t do, and it was very reasonable. Would definitely choose to stay here again if attending an event at Infinite Energy. Thanks!
This hotel is great for both tourists and residents who are planning celebrations. The hotel rooms itself are comfortable and good looking with clean materials and very cold and hot, if needed, shower options. The other bigger suites are very spacious and have great potential for smaller celebrations, parties, and other social gatherings. On top of this, there is an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, and fully furnished lobby for other curricular activities. Overall, Embassy Suites is a great place to either enjoy an evening or spend a few nights.
This is a fairly newly built hotel, and as such everything is very modern and clean. The staff is very friendly, and the amenities are nice. Like all Embassy Suites, there is a managers reception nightly with free drinks (most well liquors are included) and light snacks. The lobby area of this hotel includes many nooks with tables and TVs that are perfect for enjoying the reception.
Allison the food and beverage supervisor as well as Sharma housekeeping showed excellent customer service and made you feel home away from home. The hotel is amazing..i love the almost private tucked away seating spaces in the lobby. The food is great at the dinneri do wish they served lunch as well...you may be starving between 1030 and 5pm..the am breakfast is AMAZING...good location.
The hubby and I was looking for a great night out on the town to celebrate our anniversary and a much needed break from the kiddos since the pandemic... debated about this hotel and the Marriott Avalon but decided since it was in the neighborhood to stay here... nice room, check in/out was okay. We brought our own disinfecting stuff (you can never be too careful)... all was well UNTIL our room became polluted with marijuana smoke. While what other people do personally isn’t my concern, I didn’t appreciate having to pay close to $200 for a night stay to endure second-hand smoke! What’s even more disappointing is the GM of this hotel sent me an email after I completed a survey about our stay, apologizing while stating “they too were victims”... no compensation for the inconvenience... nada. An almost sold out hotel that evening equates to me money was made regardless while we spent money to sleep uncomfortably... victim huh?
I was in Duluth for a conference and had never stayed at an embassy suites hotel. This one is great. Newly renovated with a great lobby bar/ restaurant. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, funny and accommodating. The best is they have a complimentary happy hour each night and a free breakfast that I have paid over $30 for at other hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
Hotel was great, and was the newer, better style Embassy suites with better, more elegant & modern rooms & without the audacious lobby atrium. Have stayed in this hotel 2 years on a row & the rooms were very clean & accommodating. The evening reception included plenty of choices. Will stay here again next time in town. However; I cannot give a 5 star rating as the breakfast buffet was not on par with other Embassy Suites. Stayed 2 nights this year & the bar had only turkey sausage, no bacon, gravy, but no biscuits (dinner rolls added next to gravy second morning......really??), breakfast potatoes were frozen then deep fried, and the omelet station was missing several items from their mediocre list of ingredients. A young mother in front of me pleaded for a waffle, (listed as an option), for her toddler and was told the waffle iron sitting in front of her was not on. She kindly agreed shed wait, only to be told that they did not have anywhere to plug the waffle iron in, after two staff members tried to plug in the 110 plug into an odd shaped plug on the wall. As if they couldnt have picked up the waffle iron and moved it close enough to another plug.I totally get the breakfast is no additional charge, but it has always been awesome at every other of the many embassy suites Ive stayed at.All other staff members outside of the breakfast line were on par or above.
Rooms are great and the hotel is beautiful, though I did have a hard time establishing internet service when I first arrived. Finally I got it fixed after a while. Room service was ok. The kids pizza is not the best and the sweet potato fries were mushy. If you want something to drink you have to go downstairs, I didnt see a drink machine on my floor, which was the 6 the floor. Theres really nothing to complain about really. Its a beautiful place wish we could have stayed longer. We were in the top knotch sweet. Very Nice!
This Hotel is Beautiful, everything about is Top of the line, the staff was Fantastic and very attentive to our needs. Its convenient to everything and The Mall is right around the corner. You really dont have to leave for anything. The suite was super cozy and clean. I slept like a baby.
We checked in and our room wasnt ready, so we were upgraded to a premium room. Absolutely no complaints there! The room was perfect. Comfy beds, clean, hot shower, perfect! The evening reception was fabulous with snacks etc. Our family loved the pool. One of our children had seasonal allergies issues and we had to take her to the minute clinic the following morning. We missed their fabulous breakfast. As soon as I mentioned this to Jessica L. at the front desk she immediately asked how she was doing/feeling. She then offered to escort us to the Chick-fi-a across the street and buy us breakfast. Thank you for going out of your way to make us feel loved. Weve been a part of the Hilton Family for a long time and this is the reason why! Hilton goes above and beyond for their guests! Thank you Jessica, You my dear made our day and our GA trip!
My mom and I stayed for a family event. The pluses: Wendy. Our housekeeper was great. She kept our room clean, was always pleasat, and assisted with any requests we had. Also, the breakfast was great. The choices were good and the coffee was hot. The night auditor was also pleasant though we didnt catch her name. The minuses: The floor at breakfast buffet was STICKY!
Beautiful Hotel which Ive visited many times before. Im only giving 2 stars this time because I had gone to breakfast and upon arrival back to my room, my door was open and all of my items were gathered and placed on the counter. I still had 2 hours before checkout. I spoke to the attendant at the front desk and her attitude was very uncaring as it has been at other times. When working with the public, a good personality is very important and this person definitely does not possess that. If youre having a bad day or an attitude, customers shouldnt have to be subject to this. Remember that without us, you would have no employment.
As soon as you walk in youre greeted with a vibrant lobby and welcoming staff. The rooms are very large so if Kids dont mind to sleep on couches or pull out beds you could easily pay for a 2 adult room and fit 2 kids as well. Everything is noticibly maintained and cleaned. The pool is heated and the gym is nice. The lobby hosts a 5:30-7:30 happy hour every evening as well. From my experience lots of guests attended and everyone mingles well. Overall it is a great time and you notice the amenities that you pay for. 5/5
This is one of the best hotels i have ever been to despite a family or some college students rooming up and down the hall like some damn fools. I seriously enjoyed the treatment of the staff and all the freebies the hotel offers you. I really felt welcomed and appreciated here. It was extremely clean and fresh like it was just built. I only ask others who visit here to be mindful of slamming your doors because the room doors slam shut pretty hard. I dont know how hotels are categorized with the whole star levels, but this is more than a 3 star hotel. This place was just great in every single way. And well worth what you pay per night. Its a little far out from Atlanta it self, but well worth visiting and Duluth itself has alot to enjoy as well. Thanks again to the staff and management i hope to return soon.
We thought the rooms were very nice until I went into the bathroom. There was hair in the bath tube and hair on the toilet ( under the toilet lid and the backseat). The shower curtain had stains on it ( wasn’t clean). I contacted management still have not received a call back. Next, while brushing my teeth, I noticed the sink had some black stuff in it. I have all the pictures showing these problems and still no one has contacted me from management.
We booked a wedding block with the hotel. Overall, our experience with planning for our wedding went smoothly. Hannah was excellent and very easy to communicate with. The hotel itself is beautiful and you cant beat an included full breakfast! The only issue we had was upon check in. The receptionist took 45 minutes to check us in because she said she didnt see the agreed upon discounts on our account. I asked several times if someone else could assist us and she basically ignored me or told me everyone else was in a meeting. A minor hiccup in an overall great experience.
Superb experience here ! Clean facility, accommodating and hospitable staff. I especially want to thank Sherlene at Guest Services for her sweet attitude in helping us out with a corkscrew and terrific bottle of wine, prior to some wedding festivities .Well done Embassy Suites! We will be back.
Very elegant, spacious, and beautiful facility. Its new, clean, and in a great location! Breakfast was great, especially when we were greeted by the chef who engaged the kids and introduced us to the five-star hospitality we have come to attribute with the Hilton brand. Our room was modern/chic, and the rest of the facility was flawless. Well done Hilton!
So far it has been a Real pleasure! From Annette at the front desk helping me find my cozy room with a peaceful view, to the much needed happy hour from 530-730 EVERY evening... Not to mention hott, cooked to order omelettes...How could you go wrong! If youre a foodie like myself, youll truly enjoy it!!🤗🤗
Hotel is very nice and new. As always breakfast at Embassy Suites is excellent and included! Rooms are great size and quiet. My only complaint about the room is the bathroom lights were way too bright and there was no option for only some of the lights so it was blinding first thing in the morning.
Allison, the food and drink manager did an amazing job. Her and her staff went above and beyond to bring my company and me the best hospitality. She had the best advice on menu options and the creature comforts. I would definitely recommend the Hilton Embassy Suites to a friend. Well done!
Very nice Hotel. Clean, Modern and Large suites. Stayed here 4 days for business. They have a nice bar, great full complimentary breakfast buffet. Located near a bunch of decent restaurants if you want to go out for dinner. Had a very pleasant stay and nothing but good things to say.
The hotel lobby and bar area have been very carefully and well set up and furnished, even if the style isnt for me. Service is kind, and the atmosphere allows for a lot of socializing. Clearly a lot of work went into making the Embassy Suites a quality business travel destination.
The complementary Breakfast Buffet and Happy Hour from 5 PM to 7PM rock! The buffet has any breakfast food you can imagine, plus made to order omelettes. Selected cocktails and beers are offered, as well as dips, appetizers and snacks. If youve had a big lunch and want something light for the evening, you wont need anything else. Just be sure to get there early for the best selection.
Elliot and Allison! GREAT customer service. Elliot was our server and very attentive and professional. Always checking on us etc. Allison as a manager was very attentive and talked to her customers making sure everyone was good and being taken care of. We recommend this hotel HIGHLY! Clean clean clean and well staffed! Perfect stay!!
Cant say enough good things about this property. The rooms are just awesome! Ive stayed at many Hilton properties throughout my life and I have to say this one is the best. I used to think the Palmer house and Hilton on michagan ave. In Chicago was top. Nope! Kathleen I believe was the lady serving the evening snacks and drinks was extremely nice and professional. Thank u
I attended a meeting here hosted by my work team. I paid for an overnight stay as well. The next morning, I discovered my vehicle had been broken into. Front passenger window broken. The hotel did not even have a rep look at my vehicle, and their complete response to my vehicle damage in their parking lot was SILENCE ! No acknowledgement at all. They provided zero guest service. The thousands spent by my employer , nor the overnight hotel expense did not warrant me even an acknowledgement by the management. What a disappointment. The 135 people attending our meeting will probably be reluctant to stay, or even recommend the hotel based on their obvious unconcern about their guest safety. Clearly, they know there is a problem in the area. I am not the first or the only vehicle broken into. I will not stay here again, they dont care about their guest. No outside cameras, nor security to protect their guest or guest property.
Ive stayed here for two separate occasions in two different types of rooms. The first room was in a double queen and the second was a king room. Both were absolutely lovely. In the double queen room there was a tub in the bathroom and the king room had a large walk in shower (that both my husband and I wish we had in our home). The only complaint I have for the room is the toilet paper. I dont remember if it was single ply, but it was just sad.The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL. Im not a fan of wallpaper, but the ones chosen for this hotel were spot on gorgeous. The tables, chairs, couches, theyre all lovely. Whoever decorated this hotel did a phenomenal job!One of the main reasons I love staying at this Embassy Suites is because of the social hour(s) and breakfast. In the evening time (Im pretty sure it was between 5:30 and 7:30) you can go to the bar and get free drinks (select well drinks and sodas) and they usually have snack foods out as well. In the morning they have a breakfast spread that is the best Ive ever seen (at a hotel). There are pastries, fruit, eggs (several different ways), oatmeal, corned beef hash, etc. And if you want an omelette, theres someone there to make one (or more) the way you want! Also, I want to do a shout out to Adrienne, who I believe was the front desk manager, she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! One of my stays here was for my birthday and she jumped in the air and wished me a happy birthday (was unexpected but welcomed). Shes absolutely lovely! 😀
Front desk lady was extremely rude to me. I asked if they had any extra face masks for my protection and she pointed to her phone, as she was on the phone and couldn’t talk to me. She was on hold not talking to anyone. I then asked where something was, and she pointed to her phone again while she was on hold. Very rude. I waited and she didn’t ask what I needed. I had to walk away! She Does not deserve to be the first person you see when entering a 3-star hotel! African American lady is the only identifier I have, I didn’t get her name.
This by far is our favorite embassy suites location. We love the staff and amenities here. The evening reception and breakfast make this location a great place to visit. They even had sandwiches and gummie bears this time along with the usual cheeses dips and chips and crackers. I would def stay here anytime.
We stayed the weekend of 2/16/18 This hotel surpassed our expectations. Really nice....clean and the food was Great! The lobby area was so inviting we just wanted to hang out...We Will be back. The only issue was we went looking for a restaurant +suggested by your staff that was not opened for business yet. You still get 5 stars.
Not a family friendly experience. We came with an 11 month old, which was mentioned in our reservation. They gave us a room with a shower only, no tub. This makes bathing a child difficult. They said they had no rooms to move to. Check in was also extremely slow.At breakfast we learned that this rather large hotel has exactly two high chairs. So we had to hold a hungry baby while our food got cold. We also had to find people to refill things like the coffee creamer. We stayed the week before at an Embassy suites in Greensboro, NC, and suggest the management in Duluth go get some tips from them. The hotel itself is very nice, with very modern decor, but it is clear that all the budget is going towards the nice tile in the bathroom and the like.
This hotel is in a great location, its new and very well designed, rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was good. The only thing that made our stay less than five stars was the fact that the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night while me and my wife were sleeping. I understand that most of the time something like this the hotel cant prevent, because a guest set it off or something. But after going down to the front desk the receptionist said that it was an employee in the kitchen that set it off both times. The hotel management brushed it off with a quick Sorry. Things like these are especially frustrating when the you just got done with a 7 hour road trip are dead tired and have to work all day the next day photographing a wedding. The one thing you should be able to count on at a hotel is a good nights sleep.
A great first impression, what a Hotel! Clean, comfortable rooms, great food and a proper workout room. I arrived late Sunday night and needed to get into the conference room, I was teaching over the next five days. The staffer at the front desk, Creston jumped right in and help us get everything set up. He even arranged to have dinner served for us in the conference room. He went out of his way to make sure we had a smooth start to the week. He came back in the following morning to make sure everything was in order. The rest of the staff was just as helpful and took the time to help us out at every turn. I look forward to returning over the years to come ...
We stayed here for our wedding weekend and we absolutely loved it! It was so clean amd very nice! My favorite was,the breakfast bar buffett with hot, food items and a grill for make-your-own omelettes. Price was reasonable. Nothing too crazy and it is upscale than your normal Hamptons, my opinions. Their bathroom shower I loved and I love our room layout where the living area was separated from the bedroom. Highly recommend this place and woukd come again when needed
We had a very nice stay besides the kids running over our head on the 5th floor. But, when we told front desk about it. It stopped. They gave us a late check in due to not having our room available until and hour later. So, they was resolved and we were happy with stay. We will come again.
The lobby and rooms are nice enough, the alligator wall paper in the bathroom wasnt my taste but that isnt why I gave this hotel 1 star. We checked in midday then attended and event that evening. We arrived back to the hotel about 11 pm, but did not get to our room until midnight. Why? Because the parking lot was overflowing and there is no where even remotely close by to park. People were double parked, up on curbs sideways, etc. The managers response was We are aware of the situation but we cant do anything. People going to the arena next door must be parking in our lot. The event at the arena ended at 9, it is clear without counting there are more rooms in this hotel than there are parking spots.Once we finally got to our room the keys had been deactivated. The manager was quick to replace the keys but offered no apology for the parking or the inconvenience. Wouldnt stay here again!
The new, modern room design was well thought-out as well as the lounge area for the complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast. The breakfast was the best brunch Ive seen at an Embassy Suites. Not sure if it was because it was Sunday or if its like that every time. A+++
I cant talk about the rooms I was there on business in conference room. Place was very pleasing to eye as I walked in and around. I gave 4 stars cuz I dont know about rooms. Front lady was very pleasant and willing to help. Enjoyed our conversation as she quickly addressed the problem. Which was fixed I might add.
The staff is amazing! I hold corporate training seminars in this area once a month and this property has become my go to venue in the north east area! They truly deliver a customer first team effort experience from all staff members! Chef Eurell will prepare and deliver some of the finest food for your event. He never disappoints and is always spot on!
The location of the hotel is fine, right off the highway. They offer the managers happy hour with free cheap beer and liquor as well as some snacks. The room was clean and new looking. TVs were a good size, but I wish I could have accessed my Netflix or YouTube via the tv.
Great Stay. PROs-Awesome breakfast. Made to order omelets were loaded and exceptional. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for three adults. CONs-Neighbors were loud and we could hear through adjoining door. After going out for supper and returning to find that parking was very sparse, we ended up parking in the lot across the roadway for the Infinite Energy Center due to RVs taking up multiple spots in the hotel lot. Evening reception needs to list available drink options instead of having to ask for a rundown of them.Overall a decent experience but for the price I would expect better.
This is a brand new hotel and it is gorgeous. The service is excellent. I was greeted the minute I walk through the door and was even given a tour of the new facilities. The chef, I believe his name was Kevin, made sure to suggest the best food on his menu and even accommodated our special request. I cannot wait to stay here again.
***BEWARE***This hotel is going down fast and if I could give it zero stars, I would. I had an excellent stay there during the summer months, but when I returned the weekend of November 11, my experience was horrible. The 2nd shift gentleman with the topknot at the front desk had the personality of a doorknob and appeared as though he was bothered by hotel guests. There was this one chef in the kitchen that night that should have been terminated on the spot for his rude, unprofessional conduct with a guest. The bar employees were unattentive to guests and even though the hotel is new, you can already see the decline in the cleanliness of the rooms. I am traveling back to the area the weekend of November 18, and had already booked another room here prior to this stay. Needless to say, I wasted no time cancelling my reservation after this experience and will NEVER stay here again!!! Its obvious good help must be hard to find in the area because they scraped the bottom of the barrel with their 2nd shift staff. Dont waste your money!!
So beautiful! Coming from Philly, the Southern Hospitality was definitely welcome! The fire pit in the back is not only very cool, but comfortable and amazing to look at. And the complimentary breakfast was to die for! (I didnt think anyone else cooked home fries like me until i got here!) Free cocktail hour and the booths with canopies and flat screen TVs really set this off. The rooms were very clean and crisp and extremely accommodating. The only thing is the water pressure in the shower that kind of bothered me but besides that, loved it! And Ill be staying here on my next ATL excursion.
We stayed at the Sugarloaf location. The check in staff was friendly. The drinks and food from the bar were delicious but it did take about an hour to receive our food. The sitting area was favored by the kids because they could watch TV while they ate. It wasnt that busy so the adults enjoyed their own show next to them and has time to relax. It was raining our entire stay so we couldnt take advantage of the fire pit sitting area but it was under an arrangement of patio cafe lights. Would have been great had we of been able to use it. The pool is indoors and can be used year round. I believe he said they keep the pool at 78. No spa. yes fitness area and board room/meeting room. Suite with 2 beds in one room, while sofa couch in the main sitting area. Mini fridge, sink and mini coffee maker in room. Hair dryer in room. Safe in closet. Overall a great room for the price. Just about 5 minutes away is a cool Korean shopping plaza with swanee chicken and pizza. It was amazing. Tin Lizzie Cantina had amazing food too and live music on a Friday. So there are cool eateries close. Its only 5 minutes of the highway.
It was a beautiful suite, comfortable. I did have one question and one suggestion. The question is in regards to the bathroom set up. I found it a little uncomfortable sitting in the toilet right across from the full length mirror. The suggestion is to provide plastic utensils with the coffee items. Thank you for a great experience, looking forward to future stays. 😀

2022-04-14We had a good stay at this hotel.* The rooms were clean and well-appointed. (Although note that the pullout sofa was not comfortable for sleeping.)* The hot breakfast was good, however I would have appreciated some healthier options.* The pool area was clean, if a little cold.* The public spaces were comfortable with ample private booths.* All staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

2022-01-09Had a very lovely stay here! Check in was easy and quick! We arrived and were informed of cocktail and snack hour at the bar. The drinks and snacks were great! Mrs Allison in the bar was amazing, she got someone to turn on the out door fire pit for us. The only complaint is that the rooms should have an exhaust fan in the bathroom because my man stunk up the whole place after using the rest room and there was no way to get rid of the smell lmao! And it gets super steamy during showers. The free breakfast was nice in the morning too 😂

2022-04-05Pros: The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was spacious, clean, and fairly quiet. Felt upscale and very pleasant upon arrival. It wasnt very hard to get to the hwy and there were attractions close enough to do and see. Breakfast was great! The pool was nice because you didnt see a lot of kids/young adults here.Cons: Marijuana and cigarette smoke on our floor 2 out of 3 nights. Marijuana could be smelled, and was quite noticeable, inside of our room. Water pipes randomly squawk (fairly loud). The restaurant was closed completely 1 night. Open for fried foods only a second night. If you plan on spending most of your time in downtown Atlanta I would suggest looking closer to downtown as the traffic is pretty thick. But if youre okay with staying on the outskirts this is a nice place to stay. Great food in Duluth too.

2022-06-07Great experience coming here with my family of 5. The and the staff was very welcoming. The pool was also really clean and a great place for my kids to get that extra energy out after being in the car for 10 hours. My only suggestion would be to have some sort of pancake or waffle option on the breakfast menu. Corn beef hash and on-demand omelettes are absolutely amazing, but it wasn’t some thing that interested my younger kids.Thank you guys again for the incredible service. I also want to mention that the hospitality staff for breakfast went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The gentleman that was making the omelettes really made my son‘s day and how he engaged with him and the wait staff made us feel like we were the only people eating breakfast this morning. Again, I really appreciate Embassy suites Put so much energy into hiring such great people. Thank you.

2022-04-25The layout of this modern Embassy Suites is really great. The lobby and outdoor seating areas are very nice. On the downside, your not allowed to get GrubHub or Door dash and the eat in the outdoor courtyard?I like the layout of the rooms with plenty of desk space for working etc. The bathrooms are modern and efficient. I love the nightlight you can dim on the switch. Super smart. The restaurant/breakfast is pretty lackluster. The omelettes are great if you want to wait in line to get one, but the other options arent awesome. For instance, the scramble egg is often laden with cheese which is great if you want cheese. Its not great if you are trying to eat healthy. The fruit is very mediocre. There is no cut fruit and the whole fruit is unripe or bruised. The oatmeal is like glue vs a nice hearty steel cut oatmeal that can withstand the time sitting in the warmer. I hope they get back to producing the good breakfast they have had in the past. This place has a lot to draw people but they need to work on the restaurant part of the business.

2022-02-13Good morning,My husband and I stayed here last night after dinner. We checked in at about 11:30 pm. We stayed here before so it was refreshing knowing that we would be able to take a shower and have a good nights rest because that is what we were accustomed to. Unfortunately when we got to the room, we found hair on the night stand. I looked for wipes to remove it but the room had no wipes. I removed the hair with a napkin. I went to wash my hand In the bathroom but we had no soap at all, no hand washing soap, no face soap, no body wash…. Nothing. I checked the dinning area, but still no soap to be found. My husband checked under the sink and he found a little bottle of shampoo. I needed to clean my hands asap so I used the shampoo. Now I went to wipe my hands on the hand towel and again I found hair. There were little eye lashes on the hand towel. I was furious. I wanted to shower but wasn’t able to because all the shower gel/ body wash was gone. I called the front desk and the lady says she has a bar soap at the front desk and we can come down to get it. Huh??? 4+ star ratings… and we have to come down to get the bar of soap because you all failed to properly supply the room with the bare minimum that we pay for. So my husband who was already in his pajamas… went down stairs for the bar of soap. When he asked the lady why our room did not have soap or body wash… she stated that they are currently transitioning between bar soap and body wash and the body wash had not arrived to the room they booked us in and house keeping was told not to leave bar soap in the room after cleaning since they are transitioning from bar soap to body wash. Now, when my husband booked the room they did not provide a disclaimer stating that we needed to bring our own body wash… you still charge us the full price and we can’t even shower or wash our hands because our room wasn’t supplied with the bare minimum…. SOAP. The next morning I called again stating that we needed more soap so we could shower and again she said come down and get it since housekeeping isn’t here yet, they have the body wash. We needed more towels and body wash. At this point I was ready to leave. My husband jumped in the shower and just used the tiny hotel bar soap they supplied us with last night. While he was in the shower, I just got dressed and decided to just go home to shower. I wanted to eat breakfast downstairs but even that did not interest me anymore. When my husband got out the shower he stated the water was freezing. Lol why did you guys book a room (room 430) that wasn’t ready to be booked??! We usually have great experiences here but you guys really dropped the ball this time and we will not be returning.

2022-05-26My husband and I had a great time at the hotel for our wedding weekend. Until we realize we left his garment bag filled with personal belongings at the room. We have not received any urgent follow up from the General Manager or Staff about this matter. How can a big Black Garment Bag, suddenly go missing. We certainly need answers after having our wedding guest stay at this hotel for our wedding weekend.

2022-05-03Hotel is absolutely amazing, you seriously don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t won’t to. The rooms are amazing l, great food, and bar area. The pool got a little hectic with the kids, but that is to be expected during the weekend of prom and other sporting events in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the general area!

2021-12-22This hotel is one of my favorites! Its a beautiful new Embassy Suites with a modern re-design. Thankfully, they have kept the things I love about Embassy Suites: large rooms with all the amenities like in-room coffee, microwave, refrigerator, two TVs, a desk and all the connections you need for your electronics in convenient places. The complimentary made-to-order breakfast has lots of variety and is delicious. Great place to stay in Gwinnett County!

I called them out “yes” friends because they were very accommodating to our requests. They provide two free drinks from 5:30-7:00 pm nightly, along with some snacks. The bed was very comfortable. Room has two free bottles of water. The breakfast was enjoyable, fresh, and plenty of choices. Eggs and omelette a are made to order. We loved the little sitting areas that have privacy and your own TV.What a great experience!! 😀😀
