Everything and everyone were awesome! From the front desk personnel, to our clean, crisp room, to the great breakfast choices (you must get one of the omelets!), to the wonderful atmosphere and the great bartenders for the complimentary cocktails. We were treated like we mattered. This was the best hotel stay we have had in several years.
Overall very satisfied with our experience at this property. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The front desk manager made sure that we were taken care of. The property is a litte older, but it is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was also a bonus.
Positive: Rooms are clean & spacious. Bed comfortable. Nice amenities. Enjoyed the hot, made-to-order breakfast in the morning. Enjoyed happy hour in the afternoon. Staff was friendly. Not far from the beach. Restaurants & movie theater nearby. Negative: Wish the entrance to the mall was still accessible. Hoping that the mall gets revitalized. That would be a definite PLUS!
The embassy has a dress code for the lobby area, which is ridiculous. Completely ruined my stay as if the rooms are not already subpar and overpriced for this brand of hotel. You would think they’d upgrade the old style rooms and make better breakfast before bothering someone regarding their article of clothing. Definitely won’t receive another dollar from me or my family, I’m no longer recommending Embassy as a place to stay.
Positive: The suite arrangement and services available. Negative: We reserved a two bedroom suite. When we got in, the room had obviously been cleaned and beds made. Then we saw a large open bag of snacks on the desk and an opened bottle of water on the coffee bar. Soap in the bathroom was used as was a toothbrush?!?
Great value! Hotel was clean, breakfast (waffles, omlet, cerals, etc.) and evening reception was good (fruit, pretzels, gold fish, 2 alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks) was good, and friendly staff members. There is a movie theater within walking distance with $6 Tuesday movie nights.
Beware Diamond members! Upgrades are non existing here! I checked in on Nov 9 2021 and asked for an upgraded room, if available. The hotel was quiet and appeared empty so I was hopeful for a larger room. No dice! I was told that I already received my upgrade by getting two beds, as I requested, but the room size would be smaller then the one king room which was originally booked. That did not seem like much of an upgrade! The desk clerk said that any additional upgrade would cost me an additional $20. Im loyal to Hilton because of the perks. I have been turned down for upgrades when the hotel is busy and I understand that completely, happy that I was able to book a room at all. This place was a ghost town but I received no courtesies. However , I was offered a candy bar or a bag of chips as a thank you for being a loyal Honors member. there are lots of other options - even other Hilton properties- which I will try on my next visit.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Rose with a warm and welcoming smile. Angel assisted our family with anything that we needed in the bar area. He introduced us to their kitchen menu. We looked over the menu as a front desk personnel showed my son Chad the robot! Im sorry I wasnt there for that, I would remember your name if I had been. Thank you for making the experience wonderful. We all took a dip in the pool before ordering our food. We had an awesome swim! Our room was clean and extremely comfortable! We got our food delivered to our room (we have a 2yr old), they said it was going to be 35 to 45 minute wait. It was no longer than 20 minutes. It delicious and plentiful. Megan delivered our food to our room, (congratulations sweetheart on becoming a Mrs.
The interior of the hotel is exquisite, the lobby is beautiful and well put together, the rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are great to sleep on, and the staff there are the kindest, generous, gracious, and every other compliment you can think of. ABSOLUTELY reccomend.
I always enjoy the Embassy. I was extremely happy that the breakfast was back with the cooked to order omelet and waffle station. Happy hour is always a plus and ordering lunch or dinner was easy and convenient. The lounge area was cozy, elegant and relaxing. The pool was nice and the water was warm for the night swims. Looking forward to my next trip.
Working, Here Stayed Two Weeks. Just Loved It. The Desk People, Maids And Overall. All Workers Are Great. Rooms Are Spotless. Great Maid Staff And Friendly. The Restaurant Is Great, The Breakfast Is Awsome. Stay Here A Must When You Visit The Grand Isle. Its a beautiful place
Nice comfortable, spacious room. The bed was so soft & comfy like sleeping on a cloud (FYI, I usually need a firm bed for my back!) The sheets super soft & extra pillows. Clean. The TV remotes were wrapped with towelettes to further sanitize anything. There were 2 TV. All staff was friendly. I had good food & drink at the bar restaurant.
Overall our stay was good. The location was a little odd attached to an old mall next to the movie theater but the mall had security that drove through so that was nice.Ill start with the good. Breakfast had plenty of options with hot buffet, cereal, fruit and best off all the made to order omelet station. Everything was clean, gloves available for breakfast at the buffet, wipes and hand sanitation stations all around the hotel. Our room was clean and check-in smooth but room smelled very musty and Ill get to that later. Bar/restaurant was pricey and food was so-so.Now our issues that were never addressed or resolved while we were there. Our room was musty but clean and we just chalked it up to being empty all week? We figured out why in very short time. Our bathroom toilet took 2 or 3 flushes before everything went down. You had to hold the handle and wait each time. Our bathroom fan did not work which made it fun during showers when the whole bathroom was like a sauna. With the fan not working it had paint peeling and coming off the ceiling. The sprinklers and lights had rust on them from all the moisture. There was a hole in the wall behind the door where a tile was missing and that seemed to be the major issue of where the musty smell was coming from. I think water was getting into there since it was right next to the shower. We just put a towel in front of it to cover it up. They were changing cable providers so TV was spotty at best. We would have reception for a while then it would drop off.Anyway I wish the issues were addressed/acknowledged by anyone at the desk or maintenance but they were not. Would definitely raise my review to 5 starts if it was not for these issues.
Positive: Very spacious and very good breakfast. Negative: First the toilet wasn¿t working, and the room wasn¿t clean like they use to be. The worst part about the whole trip was the staff kept coming into the room rushing us to leave. On three different occasions people knocked on the door and opened it.
Amazing Hotel & Staff. Everyone went above and beyond to my entire family July 2-4, 2021. Mrs. Jamie was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our entire wedding party guest were satisfied. Shes a pure sweetheart! Mrs. Renee was amazing, pure sweetheart went above her duties and got me some latex free gloves to get ice from the ice vending machine due to my latex allergies. The weekend for my brother and sister in law weekend reception was priceless and amazing due to the staff at Embassy Suites By Hilton. The breakfast staff was amazing as well. They went beyond and was way beyond their duties. Taylor and Alvin was exemplifies highly customer service. I felt like were at a upscale restaurant. Serjio and Te was amazing!
Had spoken with the front desk prior to arrival (weeks before), they advised on a local floral shop that would deliver and the hotel would put the arrangements in the room prior to arrival. Needless to say, when we arrived @530 the arrangements were in the middle of the lobby on a table. I verified our name on it, walked up to the representative, informed her it wasnt delivered to the room as told and I would just take them up, she was nonchalant and said thats fine. Ruined the birthday surprise for my husband. Verified with other guests the arrangement had been sitting out there since around 10 in the morning
They had me at delivery bot! We got the cutest robot that delivered snacks to our door for the kids, so awesome. Clean room, remote wrapped to stop the spread of germs. Very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful at every turn. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
The hotel was clean inside though a little dated. Someone pulled the fire alarm while we were there and we had to wake our kids up and evacuate the building. This wasnt the hotels fault, of course. Breakfast the next morning was good; lots of options. The robot vacuum was a highlight, especially for my toddler. The mall/surrounding area was largely vacant with weeds growing through the parking lot which was off putting.
Okay so the robot that delivered my extra towels was the most amazing thing weve ever seen at a hotel!! So cool! This hotel was perfect for our beach weekend. Since Covid started so many hotels are skimping on amenities to save money but not here. Every amenity and service (breakfast, pool, managers special) was just like pre-Covid. Housekeeping even came amd cleaned our room during our stay (unheard of these days)! All the staff was super friendly to boot. 10 out of 10!
Great Hotel and the staff were wonderful! This is how a hotel should be run and executed. Rooms were great and the bar area on first floor was so nice. Try the Brunswick Stew, yum! The breakfast in the morning was ample with lots of room to sit and plenty of delicious food and coffee.
Not my best experience at an Embassy Suites, but still not my worst. The staff was great and I appreciate them. I purchased what was called a Romance Package for my anniversary but received vending machine chocolates. And our next door neighbors were...how do I say...noisy.
Every staff member at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. When we had a clog in the sink I called the front desk and maintenance came right away and fixed it. Breakfast was great. The best part is the lounge area where they serve complimentary drinks every day at happy hour. All hotels should have a comfortable lounge area like that where guests can sit and relax outside of their rooms. Yes, the furniture in the rooms could use some updating, but it didnt bother us any. All in all great room and great stay.
We are very picky when it comes to hotel comfort and Embassy Suites never disappoints. We have tried cheaper hotels and its just not worth it. The Brunswick, GA hotel was quiet and comfortable and the room size was adequate for 2. The covid precautions were excellent and we enjoyed the social distancing measures taken for breakfast which was very good.
Tear it down and rebuild or gut it completely. The lobby and main floor are somewhat up to date, would hate to see where the food is made though. Staff is glorious and friendly, DO NOT rid of any employee. But definitely consider staying somewhere newer with probably less dust bunnies and such. Second time staying, figured a different room would have changed the situation. Rooms are definitely dated, hvac needs to go entirely, old tvs no smart functions, antenna only and does not work in the rain very well. The complimentary reception/happy hour is nice and all but the room has definitely lost its coziness throughout the years. I wish I could rate the staff separate from the building itself. They were beyond exceptional.I do think if they sold the lazy suzan robot that delivers things to peoples rooms, they might have room for some new beds or something.
This place is disgusting. Its moldy and has a bad odor. Its old and very out dated. They charged us 496 for a two queen bed room.. wayyyyyyy over priced...I was in the bathroom and seen hair all over the floor and a roach fell from the ceiling while in was in the bathroom, there was some weird looking bug on the ceiling in the bathroom. The towels stink so bad . The bathroom looked dirty and paint stripping from the door.oh and on top of it all the a/c in the hotel hardly works its ridiculous.. disgusting place dont waste your money here run. Ur better off going to a newly built hotel near by.. atleast it wont be so outdated
Before I begin, let me say that the staff and hotel is awesome!Once arrived, I was told that my rate was not honored that was booked thru booking. The reason was because it was not a weekend rate. Ok! I understood. I took the regular nightly rate. I was then given my keys and the room was incorrect. After bringing my wife and kids and luggage up, I had to go back downstairs. The clerk was very accommodating & apologized. We were moved to the correct room. When entering the room, it had a slight mildew smell. Assumed that it came from the a/c being cut off. I cut the a/c on and we quickly gotten dressed for dinner reservations. 4 hours after returning to two sleep infants and our 19 yr old daughter, the room reeeked of mildew. Called the front desk and explained the situation.Again, very accommodating. Moved us to another room once again. At this point, its more frustrating than inconvenience. My sons highly asthmatic. Hopefully, this situation wont affect him at all.I forgot to mention, its my wifes birthday. We traveled from Atlanta to Statesboro, GA to pick up our daughter, who attends GA Southern and then here to Brunswick to have dinner in St. Simons.I love Embassy Suites, but this is very disappointing! I usually stay with Homes2Suites, but took Embassy today. Wrong decision!!!
The staff was very nice and accommodating. Our room was kept very clean. We had a perfect room for our Family. They answered all of our questions and met every need we had. They truly went above and beyond. Breakfast was really great. I very much appreciated the cleanliness and enforcement of social distancing. Thank you for a wonderful weekend 😊
Stayed at the hotel from June 28th to June 30th for business. The fact that they have a breakfast buffet and an evening social is wonderful. The hotel is also located in a great place near so many restaurants and stores. The rooms are very comfortable. All in all a GREAT hotel to stay at.
******************Update******************I was contacted by the manager today K. Bass, I must say that I was quite surprised with the response and quick turnaround to address my wife and I concerns. Everything has been retified with a warm apology and other guest friendly gestures. Great customer service!-----------------------------------I selected this low rating, based on my experience. My wife and I came into town for a beach wedding which we shared upon checking in. We checked in got dressed in our room and noticed that it was hot in our room. I checked the thermostat and it read 72 degrees however, it felt more like 85 degrees. We got dressed to head out and I dialed the thermostat down to 68 with the expectation it would be freezing in our room upon our return.Long story short, after a long day on the hot beach we came back to a hot room. I called for help to either be moved or have the AC fixed. I was offered a fan and told there was no available rooms to move us at the time. We said okay and tried to relax that is when we discovered the remotes for both TVs where not operable. We called back, a new set of batteries were brought up and installed. Let’s just say, even with the fan that was given to us it was a long hot day and night for my wife and I. We finally could not take it anymore and ordered cold bottles of water in late ours of the night.I must say I have never stayed at a hotel where the solution was a fan, it was laughable at the time but frankly spoke volumes about this chain/customer service/management. Do not get me wrong, we were thankful for the fan. Now because my wife and I have come from very humble beginnings we played the hand that was dealt. The frustrating part about this whole ordeal was that the staff was aware of the problems with the AC prior to us arriving. The reason we knew this as there were other guest before us that had fans in addition the young lady who brought us the fan/batteries told us the room feels a lot better than earlier and that we were lucky.I feel like the hotel took advantage and still charged us even though they were aware of the issues with the AC. The Hotel could have and should have been upfront with us from time of our arrival. I am a big advocate of customer service so my solution would have been as follows during checking us in:Mr.& Mrs. Calvert, on behalf of Embassy Suits by Marriot I would like to apologize, at the moment we are having issues with our AC. I can assure you that our staff and team are working diligently to correct this issue as well as accommodate any needs that can help make your stay as comfortable as possible while we rectify the issue. If you would like to continue your process of checking in with us, we are prepared to offer your room rate at a discounted price for the inconvenience. What I have mentioned above is type of ownership of the issue at hand that sends a clear message to the customer that you are upfront and that you genuinely care about the comfort and stay of the guest.Kind Regards,Q.Calvert
Lovely hotel. The customer service was very impressive. Everyone was friendly, kind, and had southern charm. The breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and comfortably my family of 4. The toilet was slow to flush but that wasnt a deal breaker. My only complaint was room service.Room service customer service was great. Unfortunately, the food was just not tasty. The burger was so salty that my husband took two bites and threw it in the trash. I ordered the fajita special. It was not what I expected. The chicken was chewy and overcooked. The hot wings smelled amazing, but appeared to have oil in the buffalo sauce. My children did not enjoy. We wasted $70 on food. I didnt get to complain because we ordered late and by the time we got to eat, room service was closed. Very disappointed in this aspect, so Ill remove a star.Other than the room service, I have zero complaints and would stay here and order out.
Hubby and I went for a weekend getaway. All was fantastic! Cant wait to stay here on our next trip. The place was beautiful. The cooked to order breakfast was GREAT! They were following the Convert-19 protocol. Everything was clean and smelling good. Thank them for a great stay.
Ok so looking at the area (lots of closed up stores/out of business) plus it’s in a mall, weird place for a hotel…anyways , I get to the front desk, the receptionist doesn’t have an attitude, BUT, I didn’t get the usual “Glad you’re here” vibe like I have gotten in every other hotel. Oh well not a huge deal…I get in the room….POPCORN CEILING LOL And I just really have to point out that the room was clean 100%!!!! I tried so hard to find something dirty. I have inspected hotel rooms in the past so I know the spots to look. This hotel is a bit outdated, but the cleanliness of this place is outstanding. So the outdated room isn’t as big of issue. Props to the housekeeper who cleaned this room. I would stay again! Oh and it’s right next to a movie theater, odd but kind of cool.
Its the Hilton! Hospitable! Friendly! Easy going! Efficient! Enthusiastic! Motivated! Outgoing! Clean! Beautiful! They go above all youd expect....First entering the hotel it smells clean & fresh & looks very elegant! Check in desk clerk was sweet & easy going! We went to the bar Megan was exceptional - Suggestive & creative! Bed was comfortable & shower was hot & powerful! Room was very clean!
Very clean, very nice hotel. Beds are comfortable and wasnt bothered by any other guests or their noise. Complimentary happy hour could use a better variety of booze as they offered no vodka selection at all, but at least the free hour and a half of drinking was available. The hotel is attached to the Glynn Place Mall, which only the front entrance is open due to covid 19 compliances, but select stores are open. There are lots of restaurants in the immediate area of hotel.
Room was spacious and clean, very comfortable bed but only soft pillows (they give you enough to stack). Very quiet. Breakfast was great, Chris cooks a mean omelet. We always stop here for our halfway point, my husband has high standards for hotels so we drive til here no matter the time. We got there past midnight this time. Will definitely stay here again.
Staff attentive and responsive . Eterie restaurant is not typical hotel restaurant, has nightly specials in restaurant and drink specials. The weekend is seafood shrimp ,fish,🦀. The have have awesome restaurant team Megan,Corey,Traya,Henrietta, Fran,Tracy all were terrific place was clean. The complimentary breakfast was hot 🔥 and freshly prepared. The service was great the staff had covid protocols in play. They all had masks and gloves on and sanitzed tables when the guests were done with their meals. I also observed the front desk personnel sanitizing luggage carts ,room keys and elevator buttons. I will return to this property because I felt as if the staff was taking all the steps to try to stop the virus spread .
The hotel staff is AMAZING. Charmaine at the front desk was absolutely exceptional. She saw that we had three children and made it a point to send the robotic delivery unit up to our room. My children were amazed at that!!Chris from the breakfast buffet was also just fantastic. He took the time to notice my daughters Alex Morgan shirt and struck up a conversation about soccer. All the while still working and speaking to other guests as well.Just an overall excellent experience.
An awesome hotel. Quintessential Embassy Suites, with the hallmark customer service and experience. My top pick for hotels in the area.Beautiful facilities, outstanding rooms that are top notch. Extended stays are that much better at Embassy Suites with everything they offer.Great breakfast options that include gluten free options. Managers reception great.Ample parking. Handicap accessible. Family-friendly. Five Stars.
Everything was clean, fresh and new looking in the rooms and about. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet too, hot and yummy, complete with omelettes and waffles! We were half way home from holiday travel and the managers reception was an excellent touch. Will make it our stopping place from now on! They even found a small item we left behind and are sending it back to us.
Stayed here 1 night. Staff was great, everyone was very friendly. The front desk person was very accommodating when we asked for an early check in. Room was clean and well appointed., if you’ve stayed at Embassy Suites you know the drill. FYI this hotel is attached to a mall and is in a retail area. We had no issues with parking or noise but just be aware of the setting. The breakfast in the morning was great, the gentleman who was making omelette’s and waffles was super friendly and out going. He made us some great food. Will stay here again if in the area.
Just checked in and room was immaculate with the hilton seal. Headed down to the evening reception and received waitress service! So far 5 stars! Looking forward to a great breakfast in the morning with their omelets and cafeteria service due to Covid but 10 steps above several Hiltons weve stayed at during Covid. That does excludes our opinion of Bakers Cay in Key Largo which is marvelous and definitely resort category!!
5/14/21 Update - I booked my stay on 5/2/21. I SPECIFICALLY requested a corner family suite with the 3 beds, (1 king/queen bed in one room, and 2 queen beds in the other, with the sofa bed in the living room). I broke it down to her to ensure I received the correct room. The reason I requested the room is so everyone would be comfortable. My 4 Nephews were going to be in the room with the 2 beds. My daughter, and one of her friends were going to sleep on the sofa bed, and I was going to be in the other room. I walked into the room, and there was only 1 bed, and 1 sofa bed. Definitely not enough space for 7 people. I immediately went back to the front desk, and let Ms. Rose knew that was not the room I requested. Also, I noticed she put 2 adults, and 2 children on the confirmation. The hotel was fully booked. Therefore, and HIGHLY disappointed, I had to check into another hotel. Embassy is my most favorite hotel in Brunswick or should I say was. Now all seven of us are in one room at Home2Suites. 2 children in the bed with me, that Im not use to, 3 on the sofa bed, and 2 adults in the other bed. Ive NEVER had this problem. I will ensure to check my reservation thoroughly in the future to avoid great disappointment, as I have tonight. Why would I book a 1 bedroom suite, to be in the room with 4 boys to keep me up, as they are now! Im used to having a bed to myself. This was a 3 hour drive for me. Too far to be disappointed like this. I was told I would receive a call from the manager tonight. Its 11:42, and I have not heard from the manager, Karen Bass.I received a call from the hotel this morning at 9:54 stating basically what I told them last night about the reservation. I did not pay attention to the reservation as I should have to see the wrong room was booked, and she put the wrong # of people in the room. I wish the message was recorded. I have NEVER had this problem when booking a room with them. I guess I had too much faith in them. I will start booking with Marriott more. Just because the reservation was emailed to me, doesnt means it was right! She also stated that it should have been called backed out to me, but doesnt means it was. Just because a person is trained one way, doesnt mean theyre doing their job the right way. Im a HIGHLY disappointed rewards member, and to think I speak so highly of this hotel, and refer people to what I thought was the best hotel in Brunswick. Why would I order a room not big enough to accommodate everyone, and cause myself the hassle to have to find another hotel. Absolutely Makes no sense.
Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. We tried to order room service but after calling 10 times and not getting through, we decided to go to the restaurant and place the order ourselves. After a long wait the order was delivered to our room. The order was incomplete and we were massively overcharged. The problems were eventually fixed and we enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was hot and good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great job Embassy Suites Brunswick! You should be very proud. My family and I just checked out this morning. Huge improvements here. Congratulations on the new, updated look. Everything was perfect! It is obvious this place is under new management and it shows. Very friendly staff esp. the breakfast crew at the omelet /waffle station who have nothing but smiles and good morning greetings for you. I am always so happy to see the same man there every year since weve been coming here! Next time I will get his name. :)) (The grits are the best this southern girl has ever eaten too). Yum!! Rooms are spotless and even the sofa bed was comfortable. Internet was fast and super easy to connect all of our devices to. Loved how nice and cool the hotel and rooms felt as soon as you walk in the place. Even the gym was cold. Loved it. Thank you! My only minor complaint here is the elevators felt a little warm. Personally, I would really appreciate it if you would consider allowing guests to use the stairs. Im not a fan of elevators anyway. Over all, great place to stay! Highly recommend.
Its been a few years since my last stay, but the hotel stays consistent. In the world of COVID all employees were wearing masks and my room had the Break the seal sticker across the door. Inside the room, both the TV remotes were bagged with safety seals and there were packets of hand wipes throughout the room.
Great hotel. Unexpectedly attached to a mall and a little light on the extra amenities that a lot of Embassys have but both the managers reception (5:30-7:30) and breakfast were great. The service is spectacular and with a smile. Rooms and facility clean. We are trying to find reasons to come back! Be aware outside of the managers reception there is no bar and the pool is outdoors. There are plenty of places close by to eat/drink. There are positives to these things as well, such as a quieter atrium.
They have an open reception each day from 5-7 with free drinks at the bar and a few appetizers which was a nice surprise. The hotel was very nice and clean. They have a nice outdoor pool. My only complaint was that breakfast ends at 9:00 AM during the week which is inconvenient for people staying on vacation as we like to sleep in. The key cards to the rooms are difficult to use- u have to swipe several times to get in.
Worked with sales consultant team ,Niki and Brittany, to plan a business seminar at the Embassy Hotel. It turned out fanstatic! The day of the event, I could not have asked for a better meeting space and staff to assist me. The culinary team was phenomenal and extremely attentive, especially Michael & Henrietta! Our seminar participants loved the meeting room space. And, our over night travelers had a great stay, as well! Will definitely work with them again.
From the moment my family and I walked in, we were treated with the up most respect and professionalism. The staff was amazing and quick to answer all of our questions and assist us in a timely manner. It was our first stay and our experience has made us want to come back. Thank you all for the hospitality!!!!
We had a good overall experience. Room was clean with a few issues. The bed was poorly made, making me wonder if they changed the sheets. The evening reception was mentioned several times, but the food was mediocre. Breakfast was wonderful as usual and the staff was professional and courteous. I will be back.
The hotel is fabulous. Connected to and older mall with a new movie theater. The have an excellent, free breakfast with very pleasant servers. We requested a handicap room. The bathroom had the best design for wheelchair users, grab bars, a Serena seat and no glass shower doors. We always experience issues with the concept of handicap accessible. It was delightfull to not have these issues. The only negative was that the Queen-size bed looked and felt more like a Full-size bed.
Love this place. Employees are so nice & professional. They have a robot that delivers to your room BUT learn from my multiple mistakes, you have to ask for him, otherwise you get a human being. Rooms are kinda of pricey but you get a very nice happy hour and the breakfast could not be more perfect. Rooms are clean, area is safe. We save up & go here about once a year. With a restaurant & a movie theater just steps away, we really enjoy a weekend get away. Note the pics are of the tv listing in our room. With the $ they make at a very nice hotel, seems they could afford to correct & reprint the tv listing.
The location is nice. Plenty of parking, which is well lit at night. The decor is pleasant. The service I cannot speak if, as I was not directly involved with staff. Theres a very tiny pool, which is located near the entrance. The pool has a nice brick wall around it, covered in a pretty ivy.
The accommodations were very nice but the entire building, from the moment we walked in late last night, smelled like stale fried food. It even smelled like that in our room. After leaving, our party all agrees that our clothes smell like we had been at a hibachi restaurant. If they can figure out how to fix that issue the hotel will be a lot more comfortable.
I can truly say, this experience was more than an average stay...We decided to bring mom here for Mothers Day and it was so worth it. THANKS TO NIKKI LEWIS, who was most pleasant and delightful in her description of the hotel and its accommodations… Its centrally located from a couple of attractions And other eateries so theres no need to travel outside the area unless you really need to....We later had the pleasure of meeting Edna who checked us in and greeting us with a smile was all we needed thank you to the staff of Embassy Suites....And by the way ,breakfast was phenomenal thank you Mr. Omelet man....🤗☺😎😍😄
My family only stayed the weekend but we really enjoyed ourselves.Five star from the desk service, housekeeping staff and the breakfast was superb, also thehotel and rooms were very well kept. Oh shout to the chef my daughters and wife are stilltalking about his omelets.
Its a bit of an older hotel but the service and rooms are great. They have a complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening hours and its attached to the mall for those who like to shop. The rooms themselves are great quality with all the necessities. The staff here are friendly and internet is fast. Overall, awesome hotel!
So...I would not recommend. They had construction occurring during my visit, which is understandable the outside and construction area inside would be a little messy. But areas they had recently painted and added new fixtures looked less than professional. My room looked decent from a distance, but up close was another story. The bathroom was just dirty...pre-stocked with hairs from the previous tenant...
Hotel was OK, they Pre-authorized my card early in the day before I arrived. Which irritated me since that wasnt the card I wanted to put my stay on... The lady at the desk, wasnt rude, but was also not friendly. Paint was peeling off the doors, and the water smelled like sulfer. Breakfast was good though.
Dated? Hardly, thats called ambiance! The only hotel I care to visit twice. I love the retro look and feel. Its as if I could feel the old school rat pack; Dean, Sammy, etc. sitting in the atrium with me. The staff deserves awards just for the friendliness. Great breakfast, nice pool, nice room, clean, and you cant beat the price for the return. Ive stayed at other Embassy Suites and they just cant compare in my opinion, theyre just too...modern, but this one, I could just about live there. My review is a bit late as my stay was last year, but hey, great place!
Stayed on 5th floor in a spacious queen suite. Loved the reception for guests in the evening - got a drink and snack before heading back up to the room. Breakfast was great - a lot of choices and it was kept topped up.Helpful, friendly check in staff, would definitely stay again!
Friendliest Embassy Suites ever! Woman at the front desk was very nice. Also, special thanks to the woman at the bar area who took my to go order (pizza and quesadilla that was great btw) and ensured that I had a superior customer service experience. Definitely the nicest server in recent memory.
I have stayed at this location several times and always enjoy my stays. The hotel is attached to the mall and close to both a cinema and a restaurant, making it great if traveling with family or arriving late. The lobby/main area is not typical for an Embassy Suites, as it is very open. It would be very convenient if holding a meeting or family reunion.
Always love this place i had my wedding reception here back in 06 and before i married him one valentines day he and i spent the evening here and it was nice one ill never forget. Anyway today i simply came in to use the restroom and wash my sticky hands from honey bbq wings and fries with a mr.pibb that i later found out had a hole in the bottom of the cup i was trying to conceal it with napkins and plastic bag but it was too late it got everywhere all on the seat in the cup holder if its not one thing its another i shouldve took the drive for my all you can eat salad bar which is what i wanted. Anyway i cleaned myself up didnt want to go back to my car because sometimes i black out so i stayed inside made a couple of phone calls went to the front desk ask for directions to DMV about the car im driving in i believed its being switched by another one identical to what im driving so im trying to find out the first vehicle registered that i rode off the lot with. I am telling you everyone has 2015 optima LX but by the tag it says GDI but that is what i purchased from mike murphy kia. She printed me out directions because i didnt understand the directions she was giving me. I saw a outlet and decided to charge my phone i asked if i owed anything for the directions she said no i asked if that was rain or the air its rain i said i am going to charge my phone then im leaving ok do you have a mask no i dont a lady came by and handed me a mask. People started walking by the table i spoke it looked like some checkouts in the lobby i complained to metro pcs about this phone. Typical day oh the chair is vibrating so im sitting on my leg.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I recently stayed here and woke up to over 50 bug bites on my body. The management could careless and in fact, they accused me of bringing the bugs in from somewhere else. When contacting corporate office, they said this issue must be handled by site management. This hotel is extremely old and out dated. The furniture in the rooms have horrible stains and are very worn. Hilton should be ashamed to let a hotel in this condition represent their brand. Please do not be deceived by the rating like I was. This is not a place you want to stay. Please keep searching!!
This place is amazing, especially after a horrible stay at Hilton Garden INN, where noone was following protocol and no one cared. This Embassy Suites is going above and beyond with Hiltons policy for Covid. Drive however far out of your way its worth it. Oh rah the leadership here is far superior than anywhere else. Not to mention the robot is pretty cool too...
Nothing worse than your car breaking down and you have to stay in a hotel and wait to find someone to repair it. I am so grateful that we stayed at this Embassy Suites. We were displaced but we felt right at home. The staff was very helpful to us in our moment of need. Special thanks to Karen Bass for getting us to the shop to pick up our car so we could head back home😍
We had a fabulous time here. We planned to stay here for girls night and your staff went above and beyond our expectations as well as other hotel guests. We will be back more often than we have came before! Shout out to the nightly bartender Thomas who deserves a raise and then some!
I was a guest at the hotel for a training event at nearby FLETC. As I was by myself, having a 2-bedroom suite with a sitting area was overkill. All I needed was a bed and a shower. But the extra room would be nice if I were there with my family. I slept in the one-bed room on what I believe was a queen bed. It was softer than I usually prefer, but I didnt notice any ill effects. The bathroom was a bit tight, or perhaps just oddly oriented, because I had to close the door to get into the shower. It took a while to get hot water, and the pressure was typical of a hotel (i.e., it left much to be desired). My biggest criticism is that the bathroom sink made an intermittent gurgling noise throughout the time I was there. Im a deep sleeper, so it didnt bother me much, but it was loud enough to wake some people based on what I heard when I was awake. Im guessing that the plumbing develops enough suction to pull air down through the trap under the sink. Breakfast was great, and included in the room charges as is typical with Embassy Suites. And their happy hour snacks were good as well. If I find myself back at FLETC or in Brunswick for any other reason, Id certainly consider returning to this property.
A Great Hotel Experience! Very cool set up that kinda gives ya a slightly scaled down version of the Omni in Atlanta. Walk out the side door and you are in the Glynn Place Mall and the Georgia Theatre Company. Shop, eat, and catch a movie. All just below the spacious rooms. New Ownership doing a Great Job! The remodeling looks Wonderful!!
Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with a great room comfy bed and a living room! Breakfast was xcellent (made to order). Was a perfect place to land on our LONG drive home from Rochester to Lantana Florida!! We only stayed one night for some R&R but will definitely stay here again and make it a longer vaca!!!!!
Embassy Suites is a very pleasant and enjoyable place to stay. It is very clean and the staff is very nice and willing to help you anyeay possible. The mall that the hotel is connected to unfortunately isnt what you would expect if a mall. Very few stores. The theater is wonderful.
My husband and I have stayed here on multiple occasions with no problems, but on June 10th we booked a room with Hilton Honors and was charged for the stay. Once we checked in we were charged once more and on the way to check out we noticed the multiple charges. My husband went to speak with the manager about the multiple charges and was given all kinds of excuses. Then for some odd reason his card was charged a 3rd time. We are headed down to Lake Worth for my fathers funeral and was very inconvenience with the multiple charges. They need to ensure that the front desk staff is properly trained on checking customers in and out so this will not happen again. When I asked to speak to a general manager or the owner it took a lot of back and forth before I received her name.
Old, rundown, poorly decorated, dated, and desperately needs to be updated. Rooms smelled and you can tell an obvious attempt to cover up the stench. Even the Premium Room was disappointing. Surprised at the 4 and 5 star reviews of this Hotel, its as if they stayed someplace else.
Everything was perfect until bed time, Ive noticed someone hacked my email account and said that the mattresses were not good, well let me set the record straight. My family and I have always stayed at the Embassy suites in Brunswick, Ga and no other place. We call Embassy our home away from home, in fact when we travel the first question we ask Is there an Embassy Suites here. We have always stayed at Embassy Suites and always will.D.TrippPs: ..... and I approve this message !!!! .
The hotel is nice, its located in a small shopping mall and pretty quiet on a Thursday night. The free breakfast in the morning wasnt very good though. Not good for anyone with food allergies since there wasnt much prepackaged food like cereal boxes and cups of yogurt. The staff was super friendly though.
FLETC people, this is probably your best accommodation in the area, its very close, about seven minutes driving. The hotel is also conveniently located near several grocery stores, restaurants, and other places. You get hot breakfast every morning including scrambled eggs, bacon, oats, cereals, fruits, yogurts and other foods. In the evening you get snacks. Internet is such an important necessity and Ive never experienced any issues while staying at this hotel so thumbs up on that. In the other hand the gym needs some serious improvement they only have a few free weights and a handful of treadmills and ellipticals. A few gym machines and a wider space would be ideal.

2022-02-11My room was very spacious with a boardroom table in a separate space so I could spread out and work. The hotel is so clean and open. I love the updates they made. The staff was so friendly including Rose at the front desk who was wonderful to speak with. I recommend staying here. I had the Brunswick stew with corn bread which was hot and tasty on a cold night. The general manager was extremely pleasant and you could tell that the staff loved working there. Tracy was our server and very friendly and gave us great service with a beautiful smile.

2022-02-18We have stayed here for years on our travels and this place is awesome. Great service and food at the restaurant/bar and breakfast. Possibly the best omelet I have ever had this morning along with delicious grits and biscuits and gravy. And breakfast is included. Front desk workers are always sweet and rooms are clean.I hope this place doesn’t change a thing and continues to be such a consistently impressive spot.

2022-06-15What a great stay! Don’t be fooled by the questionable surroundings, the hotel is actually quite nice. It has what I’d call, “contained grounds”…the rooms surround an indoor courtyard of sorts, so it’s like a mini vacation dome. There’s a bar/restaurant in the middle. The rooms were very spacious…although a bit dated. The complementary breakfast was one of the best of any hotel I’ve ever had…made-to-order waffles, omelettes…and some buffet items as well. The customer service was very good…from the front desk to all servers. The area seemed generally safe, but somewhat abandoned—think shutdown mall feel. I’d definitely stay here again.

Full buffet with pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, grits, and made to order omelettes. Good coffee and soft drinks. Juices available also. Plenty of seating, very clean. Suites are spacious and clean. Great toiletries. VERY quiet rooms. Great pool! Snacks, microwaveable dinners, medicine, desserts, alcohol available for sale. Lots of lounge areas and office space. Highly recommend.

2022-06-16What an interesting location. I was nervous as this hotel is in a pretty much-abandoned mall. However, we did feel safe, and the hotel was very nice. The bed was excellent and the service was exactly you would expect from an embassy suites. I do have to say that I really like the keyless digital key on my app. Also what an amazing breakfast. They have a chef to cook omelettes. I would stay here again when visiting the beach. This hotel was perfectly located between st. Simone’s and Jekyll Island.

2022-01-28Great experience for our overnight stay. All the staff we encountered from check-in to check out were friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient. Suite was very clean, spacious and comfortable. This is a place we’ll stay at again if we need to break up trip to Florida.

2022-02-18Great place to stay and staff Mrs Greene (front desk) was extremely nice and motivated. Also, Eric (driver) was great and had a wealth of information about the area. The location is pretty quiet due to the mall co-located with the hotel has shut down most of their big stores, but there is an movie theater located on same property that is in operation.

2022-05-02The staff was very professional and nice. Made me and my friends feel welcomed. The rooms were cleaned and sanitized well. The complimentary breakfast and drinks was the top of the stay. I will be staying again when I travel to Brunswick, Georgia.

2022-03-12Stayed here for a week. Staff were excellent and the daily room cleaning was perfect. I appreciated that I accidentally left some valuables out and came back to see them untouched. The room did have a safe in it should I have remembered to use it. Bed was clean (I always do a bug check no matter how nice the hotel is) and comfortable (not too hard, not too soft, lots of comfortable pillows). I didn’t eat the breakfast or partake in drinks due to being sober and having some odd food allergies - but everyone in my group enjoyed both and had nothing but compliments. The only two negatives I could find were so minor they’re not worth downgrading this place for. The humidity is doing a number on the wallpaper and the coffee makers are annoying (they’re those little filter pods that I discovered no local store seems to have decent refills for).
